Disappointing

By jg3arrow |

Very nice staff here, but they couldn’t make up for the quality of the food, or the prices. The counter was filthy when I sat down; the hostess covered it with a linen napkin, but did not clean it. I ordered Southern BBQ sliders, which looked fab, but were just small handsful of the greasiest, fattiest, stalest bits of end-of-shift mystery meat. So disappointing. A glass of merlot was decent, but overpriced. In fact, when I asked if I could take the last of my wine up to my room in a to go cup, the waitress laughed, “For the prices you’re paying honey, you can take the whole glass, and the silverware too.” Bill with tip came to $65. Ouch.

Hotel restaurant that is a great place to dine

By Tattykat T |

Was apprehensive at first and scanned menu several times. Decided I love burgers so I'd give their Voya Burger a go. It was worth. Very well cooked, huge portion comes with smokey onion Relish, cheese, bacon, 100% beef party and sunny egg and aoli sauce and side of fries, dinner companion had the Poke bowl very colorful and very nice portion size served with pickled ginger and Wasabi and soy. He said very good and would order it again.

Masterful sushi! Personalized by an expert sushi chef!

By KasperAlex |

Fantastic sashimi, elegantly presented and customized to our liking! Yoshi (sushi chef) asked us to tell him what we wanted and he provided it just to our liking, with all our special requests! Prepared as we watched. Yoshi has worked at this location for 21 years! Kim (our server) at the Voya sushi restaurant was fantastic! Great personable service!

yummy sushi

By Amanda G |

I haven't had sushi in a while and when I saw the sushi bar was open at 11pm I took full of advantage of it. The rolls were filling and fresh and would try it again if I go back.

Surprise!

By 2happi |

My friends and I have eaten at many restaurants in hotels, but this one was a surprise. Service was not good especially in the beginning. Once we found the restaurant or lounge is more of what it looks like, we were shown to our booth and that was it or so it seemed for at least 15-20 mins without any acknowledgement from the staff! Finally someone filled our water glasses and said our server will be here shortly. After another 15 mins our server, Tekneshia, appeared. When we asked about the Restaurant Week menu, she was dumbfounded. She apologized and said that it was over (which it wasn't) and she did not know anything about it but wanted to check with her manager. More minutes went by before she returned with the menu and apologized. We quickly placed our orders which appeared in less than 10 minutes. Loved the pimiento cheese dip.Our server checked on us several times even though the restaurant got real busy. Not sure I'd return especially with having to pay dearly for parking!!!

Nice hotel bistrot

By rsazamba |

Stayed over the night in Atlanta and arrived late to the hotel. It was a nice surprise to find a good bistrot at the site. Food very good, but not cheap. Nice ambience, basketball at the tv set, good evening.

Yummy Sushi!

By krmiller18 |

Was thankful to have this little gem in our hotel lobby! Great Sushi that I was able to enjoy all weekend long!

Service is Slow

By Pamela C |

While the food was good, the service was slow. Like any hotel, the price is high due to the fact they have you at a disadvantage.

Exceeded my (high) expectations!

By July72Lisa |

The food and service here were fantastic. We had a California Roll for a started and then had the fried chicken and meatloaf for dinner. The chicken tasted great and was juicy with a delicious and crispy skin. The meatloaf had veal and mushroom in it and was probably the best tasting meatloaf I've tried. The side dishes were great too. We had a slice of chocolate cake for dessert and it was fantastic! Very rich and a great flavor. A relaxing atmosphere and wonderful service made this a perfect dining experience that was priced well. HIGHLY recommended!

Breakfast was great!

By Serena S |

I ordered the broken yolk sandwich through Starbucks in the lobby. (Actually made by Voya Bistro). It was quickly delivered to me where I waited in Starbucks. The sandwich was fresh and tasty!

Nice light evening fare

By Sal M |

Good food, not expensive. Attentive staff. I was there attending a convention and they could have used extra help during big events. When you travel as much as you do... you notice.

Lunch in a Airport Hotel

By Mark W |

I got exactly what I expected, mediocre food, mediocre service, at a higher than it was worth price. Having traveled extensively for 40+ years, and having stayed at more than my share of hotels, I decided years ago that you do not eat where you sleep...and it still holds true today...

Great, Especially for hotel

By Will McIlwaine |

Food was excellent (Trout & Salmon) for Dinner. Service quick and efficient. Full Buffet Breakfast was well prepared.

Ate every meal of our stay at the Marriott here

By krmiller18 |

What a delightful surprise! We ate every meal of our weekend stay here. Sushi, Chicken Tenders (Kids menu), Cheese Quesadilla, and Pimento Cheese dip was all amazing! Great beer selection also and super clean!

Surprizingly good

By Robert G |

Was staying at a hotel next door and heard the Sushi was pretty good. I went there expecting average Sushi. To my surprise it was very good. Had sashimi, tuna, a salmon roll and sake. All very good and made as I order it sat at the bar. Would definitely return.

Great restaurant experience!

By FL2urist2014 |

The Voya Bistro is in the lobby of the Atlanta Airport Marriott, featuring a menu of broad selections. The restaurant has a Sushi bar with several selections available, steaks and burgers, as well as many chicken and salads to choose from. The extended hours are a plus for the business traveler.

Great hotel bar/restaurant

By scott v |

Staying at this hotel. This was the only place open. Bartender Jack was awesome. I actually got a glass of Makers Mark, sat outside and smoked my pipe sipping on the Bourbon. Then came back in to drink a cold beer and get a bite. Jack recommended a local brewed beer that was great. He also recommended the fried chicken. Now I try to stay way from fried food... but! Had to try the chicken It came with green beans and Mac & cheese. Man was it tasty. I felt pretty guilty eating fried chicken for about 10 seconds!! But it was absolutely delicious. The green beans, the mac, oh and the chicken!

TV's on some of the tables.

By pkheste |

Nice selection of entrees and great presentation. It was a late night stop and we were able to get a lighter dinner.

good lunch break

By Foxtrot-BandB |

The service was quick, the food was good, and the price was reasonable. I especially would recommend the pecans for an appetizer. They were delicious. I wish I could have taken some home with me.

Excellent Sushi!

By Patty E |

I got the double double and miso soup, Both were excellent!! Sushi made fresh as you wait and however you would like it. Miso soup not to salty which was nice, sometimes I have had miso soup and it tasted like straight salt, this had perfect flavor.

Good menu choices!

By Tafferdills |

I really liked that they have local items on their menu. It's so nice to visit a city and taste the local specialties. Good job!

Best salad I've ever had!

By Simon H |

Stopped at the Marriott before flying out to Cancun and nipped down for a bite. Had the sesame chicken salad and it's literally the best salad I have ever eaten! Can't comment on the whole menu but that was definitely worth the money!

Great for late night

By J L |

This restaurant is in the lobby of the Marriott Atlanta Airport. We arrived after a full day of travel and a flight delay - all we had to eat in the previous several hours was airplane pretzels, so we were ready for some good food. The kitchen closes at 1:00 am and it was already 12:30. We were seated quickly and the waitress was quick and attentive. We had a menu, ordered a couple of drafts and some meals. The beer list was not too extensive, but had a few of the local GA beers as well as the usual national ones. The food choice was everything from appetizers to burgers, salads, sandwiches and full entrees. I had the chicken quesadilla and my companion had a burger. Both were great, were served quickly and hit the spot after a long day. The prices were reasonable and, since it was a hotel-based restaurant, we walked "home" right off the elevator!

Unexpected

By Jan A |

Stopped here on our way to Denver. We had been in traffic all day so didn’t want to go out. So, surprisingly, the restaurant in this Marriott is amazing. Totally unexpected. Best artisan plate around! Amazing sushi! Kudos to the chef who crafts much of the deliciousness. Krystal was our waitress. She was so friendly and accommodating. Ask for her!

Bistro and sushi bar all in one

By DTravelDiva |

Staying at this hotel just for the night, this bistro/sushi bar/lounge is perfect for travelers who are just padding through. I ordered the mint lemonade which was delicious then opted for the sushi menu. I had a miso soup which was ok, green salad with miso dressing which was great then some sushi. I ordered the hamachi sashimi, getting 6 slices for 14 bucks and the spider roll for 14 bucks as well. Sushi was edible but nothing spectacular. I would have gone for a rainbow roll which the guy next to me ordered and it looked delicious.

Good but Pricey

By tigereye79 |

We ate at this restaurant 4 times, because there wasn't another option (the other ones weren't open). The food is good, but pricey. After eating there 4 times, however, you start to run out of options. The service was friendly, and one of our servers was phenomenal - she was bubbly, remembered our food selections and variants without writing it down, called everyone a pet name, and thanked us for being Marriott Members. Since we were part of a large group, the gratuity was included, but we all reached into our pockets and each left a couple more dollars for her - that's how amazing she was.

Great sushi prices and taste in a hotel setting

By BigHilda |

I was very pleased to find a sushi selection in the hotel where I was staying (especially because I had no car and could not easily leave.) The selection is good - they have miso soup, seaweed & green salads as well to add on the side. The sushi is very good and tasty. The prices are good too, for a hotel where you can't expect cheap prices. I got miso soup, seaweed salad, two pcs smoked salmon sushi, and 8 pc shrimp tempura for about $35 not including tip. The only service problem I had was that my salad arrived with no utensils or napkin, so I asked for chopsticks and a napkin which were promptly brought out. The waitress did do a great job of noticing when I finished whatever I was eating before she brought out the next thing. The only comment on the food (great overall) was that I did expect the shrimp tempura part of the roll to be a bit more freshly fried. It wasn't really warm anymore, but then again, maybe it's because I took too long to eat the soup and salad? However, it was still very good and a great experience - one that I did not expect to get from a hotel restaurant.

Very Good!

By Lv2CSun |

We stayed in the hotel as were very happy with the Voya Bistro. I appreciated they were still open and serving at 10pm when we arrived very hungry. The wait staff was very friendly! My only complaint was the struggle to get service at the beginning. The host say us and took drink orders. I ordered wine and requested 6 oz ($14). There was some miscommunication between the host and waitress as she had to clarify which wine i requested (La Crema Pino Noir) Apparently i was given a 9oz as the bill indicated $19. This seems quite ridiculous for a glass of average -good wine. The meatloaf and Marriott Burger were quite good.

Group dinner

By Fran C |

Our group of 13 ordered off the menu and the waitress was fantastic- took all our orders by memory and got them all right. Food was very good for a Marriott. Highly recommend if your staying in the hotel.

Good eats!

By Lee M |

I had the hamburger and wings on two separate occasions and each time they were excellent. I also had a buffet meal and it was outstanding.

Very good Southern dishes

By MarkWorld |

I wasn't expecting good Southern food at an airport hotel, even in the south, but was in for a pleasant surprise. The buttermilk fried chicken was excellent (and there was lots of it!) the Augusta green beans were almost worth ordering on their own. The service was excellent with lots of smiles and genuine friendliness. For such a busy hotel, it was very nice.

Awesome Food and Service

By Larry C |

Went to surprise my family there and decided to stay and eat. The buffet is plentiful with selections everybody. There is a chef there that makes waffles and omelets on the spot that are superb plus he is very friendly and awesome at his craft. Our server was very friendly also abd extremely attentive to our needs. And lastly, the value far exceeded the cost. I surely got every bang for my buck. I can't wait until my next visit.

Good food, slower service

By GODAWGS626 |

Good option on site for a variety from burgers to sushi. Decided to stay in rather than get back out into the weather, was impressed with the quality of food. Service however was a little slow.

Great food

By StephanieH |

I had a wonderful salad. My dad ordered a burger, and the presentation was really nice and the fries were good as well!

Booths work well for semi-privacy

By Donna S |

The staff acknowledges you quickly, checks back, serves, and clears promptly. The booths allow you some privacy for personal or business conversations off to the side, so that everyone walking through the lobby or bistro area don't see you/encourage interruptions (when you need to get something done). Appetizers and drinks were flavorful and served at the right temperature.

Why leave the property?

By Gregory L |

Great option for dinner if you don't want to fight the Atlanta traffic. Great menu selections, not overly priced. My party had multiple selections, all were pleased. Sushi, shrimp and grits, hamburger, salad, appetizer, salmon. Generous portions. Attentive wait staff.

Nice hotel restaurant

By Don M |

Comfortable open bar/lounge dining room with several TVs. Food was very good; had the turkey BLT with fries. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Horrible breakfast and horrible service

By Brooke D |

The breakfast buffet was was almost $20.00 for 1 person and the waitress was rude and never checked on my table. She then got an attitude with me. For such a high vlass hotel they need to screen the attitude of there employees. Very disappointed in this kind of service I received. The meal was not worth that bad experience.

Open Dining Room with a mix of food options

By H S |

Another restaurant that sit inside the Marriott at the Atlanta Airport. It is an open concept area, with bar area, tables, booths, couches, sushi or dinners, app’s, drinks. Can have busy hectic feel or a lonely vacant place. We found the waitresses to be slow to acknowledge you and not so attentive. ( one night a order was lost and waited FOREVER without food) We ate several meals here. All were good. The prices are a bit high but it’s in the hotel and convenient. A “famous” pimento bacon cheese dip was just ok. A salad with grill chicken was good, the dressing was delicious. A fried chicken dinner was a greasy heavy-coating but came out steaming hot. A pot roast dinner ( we got twice) was fatty one night, but nice flavor, small portion. Overall the FOOD would get 3.5 stars....but the service workers just don’t care to impress their customers who they know are out of town guests staying in the hotel, and it shows. :((

Great food!

By mwm68 |

Great food and a lot of it! Ate here while staying in a neighboring hotel for the night. Nice atmosphere but I wish they had more "regular" seating. The waitress was very friendly too

Great Food, Service Challenged Waitress

By ANNE J |

We often stay at a hotel near the Atlanta airport when we have an early flight, and decided to try the airport Marriott because it has inhouse food and drink. The Voya setting is pleasant, the drinks were good, and the food was excellent. Our waitress had an "attitude" from the beginning of our service. It got even worse when I asked why my chicken salad did not include avocado, as listed on the menu. She snapped at me that the salad was a citrus based salad and would not include avocado. When the woman seated next to us received the same order with avocado, I asked again. The waitress slammed the menu down on my table and said, "it's not supposed to be on the salad." Of course, the menu listed avocado. Getting the check was a challenge, and her attitude did not improve. A potentially pleasant evening was made unpleasant by someone who might want to consider a different line of work.

Pleasant haven on a freezing day

By DavidG897 |

Came for lunch and to escape the freezing cold outside The menu offered us some choices that suited us. We did have to wait a long time for our food which had us wondering if our order had been forgotten. After our enquiry it duly arrived but the shrimp in the shrimp dish was cold Happily, the cold shrimp was speedily replaced with a hot, fresh cooked set. Meanwhile, a salad was good, as was the chipotle hummus dish And the staff were content for us to while away our flight waiting time. All in all, Very Good

Slow

By Nicole S |

Good food but really slow service. Fair prices and really nice place. Next time probably just get room service, probably quicker.

Everything was fine

By Helix88 |

The restaurant was very noisy and it is a difficult place for a business dinner. The food was good but not great. The service was excellent. There's just too much traffic in and out of the hotel to make it conducive for a working dinner. It would be a great place just to get drinks.

Late Night Birthday Soiree

By SuperMamaKat |

Courtesy of my specific layover in Atlanta to see my Son & crew, VOYA Bistro, was the destination for my late night soiree in bringing my birthday celebration to completion. There's three different establishments listed on the Atlanta Airport Marriott's website, yet they are all in the same lobby area…Bistro, Café & Sushi Bar. The sushi bar (4pm-11pm daily) is within the Bistro that offers the normal breakfast & a breakfast buffet (6:30am with various ending times) & an all-day dinning & bar (11:30am-1:30am daily). We opted to sit at the large table in the sitting area across from the bistro, where comfortable chairs & a huge flat screen was present. Service staff was uber friendly with no issues serving us from a miniscule afar. We partook from both the bistro & sushi menus, enjoying ourselves until 2am. Price point for the food is good, as the alcohol drinks are a little steep. The end time may not have been beneficial post partying in catching a 7am flight...yet, it was most absolutely worth it. We celebrated in a lobby takeover in a civil hitherto grand way.

Surprisingly generous portions

By biztrav123 |

I ordered two appetizer type items for lunch, figuring that they would be typical hotel overpriced small portions. Wrong. For $9, if i remember correctly, the calamari was a very large portion, for 2, and the quesadilla was also sizable. I did not finish either and I am a large guy who likes food, lol.

Excellent sushi

By Debrowan |

Food was great as well as the cocktails. Service was a little slow at first but once the food was ordered it was delivered quickly.

The Sushi Bar is Great!

By Richard V |

You would swear you weren't in the South, The Voya Sushi Bar is really good. The sushi is top notch and the service excellent. We tried most of the fish and it was delicious. Everything was very good. Good Sushi country music and pleasant surroundings in the Marriot Atlanta Airport Hotel.

Breakfast

By andrea |

We ate dinner at the bistro it was just ok. Breakfast was excellent. Had egg sandwich with sour dough bread. Very yummy

Good sushi off-airport property

By JPC_TP |

For an airport restaurant, very good. Sushi is good, and this is a bar restaurant. That said, I have eaten here a few times vs. trying to get to my car (self-park) when the weather was bad, and I didn't want to get wet on the journey to self-parking. Very loud as there are option large groups in the bar.

Okay for a quick get together

By ct-cruisers |

We were staying at the Marriott Airport location and came for for a quick bite. Friendly service is better.

Great onsite restaurants

By Evita167 |

Great breakfast brunch. Omelettes made to order. Southern dishes. There Southern fried chicken was outstanding.

Good choice

By 284law |

Great selection of small bites and light meals for dinner. Located in the lobby area so it's a bit noisy and hard to find a quiet spot.

OK restaurant for a bustling hotel

By LeaderInAction |

My wife and I ate here a few times during our stay at the Marriott Hotel, which is where this restaurant is located. The food quality was good, but the service was not as good. The ironic part is that the restaurant was not even busy, and we could not get anyone to take our order. Once the food finally arrived, the quality was good but we were also too frustrated to truly enjoy it. You would figure they would place more emphasize on service when you can catch a 5 minute cab or Uber ride down the street to a whole slew of restaurants running the gamut from fast food to full service restaurants and bars, which is what we ended up doing near the end of our stay.

A Short Walk Across the Street from Springhill Suites

By Ladd298 |

On a recent return visit from Costa Rica, my husband and I - while staying at the Springhill Suites without a restaurant - journeyed across the street to the Marriott. To our delight, we wandered into the Voya Bistro which was quaint, intimate, and not crowded. The server was quite attentive and recommended the specials of the night which were excellent. We also had the house Pinot Grigio at a reasonable price to add to a wonderful meal. The best part of the evening was the close proximity of the restaurant, the attentiveness of the server, the ambiance of the Bistro, and not being crowded in a mundane, average restaurant with no aviance. We will definitely return on our next trip through Atlanta airport and overnight stay at the Springhill.

Great casual dining

By Sue K |

We stopped in here for an evening meal from a nearby hotel. The service was excellent and the food and wine very good.

Not too shabbby for an airport sushi bar

By jrcbasel |

Sushi was good and prepared in front of us. Surprising for an airport hotel. Wait staff was exceptional.

Worse sushi I ever tasted

By janetleee |

I ordered California roll from the Japanese bistro and brought up to my room.. I should said this is the worst sushi I ever tasted in my life.. the rice was super hard n frozen.. i supposed they kept in the freezer/fridge for a long time and I’m pretty sure it was not freshly made. The ingredients was not fresh as well and I can’t taste any avocado inside.. Very very disappointed..

Great food, incredible service

By Howard L |

The server recommended the meatloaf, and she was spot-on. It was great, and her warm personal service made me feel like a family member. Even the hostess was constantly checking on me to ensure that everything was just right.

Great Service, Great food!

By JHL321 |

Spent a few days in Atlanta. This restaurant/lounge in the Atlanta Airport Marriott hotel is a terrific place for dining (breakfast buffet was nice, and dinner menu is great). Must try their Blueberry Cobbler - it is a must! Service was also terrific - very friendly and attentive staff.

So so dinner

By jardin97 |

Service too slow due to one bartender? Very sweet staff but the restaurant was not that busy and to wait 20+ minutes to get the check is not good. Ordered the deviled eggs to taste them. They were rubbery and had clearly been sitting in a chiller. Build your own burger was ok but over cooked. Staff was great and there was presence of a manager so it is a bit of a mystery why the lag time on orders……

You won't believe this is in a hotel

By Susanctravel |

It was so good we ate here 3 nights of our trip. I was surprised to find this in a hotel, but it was so good we didn't bother going out. Good food, good drinks, and great service!

Average food with slow service

By sttdiver |

Service was quite slow although there were very few customers when we were there. We got a salad and spent 10 minutes looking at it while we waited for the waiter to bring us plates. Food was only average as well -- would not go back here.

very tender slow-braised short ribs!

By Bill W |

Located in the Atlanta Airport Marriott hotel, this restaurant serves an excellent slow-braised short rib that is not only very tender but also large portioned. The entree is served with mashed potatoes and brocollini. Very delicious.

Odd experience

By FunTravelingAround |

So this is restaurant is in the ATL Marriott and I have to say I can't recall the last time I have witnessed such unfriendly service from someone who works for gratuity. O sat at the bar for my meal, and others around me were also astounded at how all of the patrons were treated. I really hope the bartender was just having a very bad night because if this is his norm, he must not make much in tips. I tip 20+% for normal service. He did not get that. But all that said - food was fine and came out fast.

fresh Sushi

By Reese B |

Excellent, very fresh Sushi. The late shift waitresses were a blast, full of personality. We also ordered wings and the pork sliders. The sliders weren't very good but the Calamari they replaced them with were wonderful.

Best restaurant in the area

By Glenn E |

Best food you’re going to find in the area!!!Turkey BLT was huge and tasty! Pizza was just ok. Deviled egg appetizer was really good!

good sushi!

By Juan H P |

went here for dinner, very good sushi, really fresh. It was really good, two things though... 1. the roll was ok, but it was kind of fluffy, when I poured some soy sauce, it was almost falling apart. 2.it was on the way of expensive. but... it was really good.

The Best Part of this Hotel

By GoGoGo82 |

Both the food and service were very good here. I had the barbecue flatbread which was very tasty. The young lady who waited on me was very playful and cheery.

A great Bistro with nice dining choices

By ranishi |

Stopped by Voya Bistro in the Marriott for a quick dinner at the bar. The wine list was adequate. The bartender was the wait staff. The lemon calamari was lightly breaded and flavored nicely. The Asian chicken salad was perfectly made for a light dinner. The bartender was efficient, helpful and friendly.

National Championship Night!

By M T |

A victim of poor planning, I found myself on the road the night of the NCAA national championship game between the UNC Tarheels and the Gonzaga..., well, Zags. As a UNC grad, I could not miss watching the event, and as a further result of the poor planning referenced earlier, found myself at an airport hotel without the proper facilities to enjoy the game in the company of other fans. As I did not wish to remedy the situation by inviting strangers into my room, the search for an appropriate viewing venue was on. I quickly found Voya Bistro at the ATL Airport Marriott, which was a short walk from my hotel. I arrived as the game began, and staked out a seat at the bar directly opposite a television set that carried the game. Voya has a very good selection of food, wines, and local beers. The wines are a bit pricey, but the reasonably priced beers hit the spot. I enjoy IPAs, and the local Hoplanta variety was excellent. I remained fixed in my bar stool at Voya for the entire game, downing Hoplantas and dining on excellent fried calamari with a cheese plate on the side. As I came to regret later, I had already eaten dinner elsewhere, but we Tarheels know how to watch a game properly, even those of us who were born in the Bronx. Despite a less than stellar performance, the Heels prevailed, I made it back to my hotel (Uber, not walking), and made a firm commitment to stay here the next time my travels bring me to Atlanta.

Great food and service

By 2tired2choose |

The wings are consistent and delicious, I can't possibly stay here without eating the Marriott Burger with bacon. They are perfect every time. Our server was amazing, anticipated every need.

Wasn't too impressed with menu choices

By Amanda G |

I had to eat here two days in a row as the other restaurant at the hotel was closed for a private party. It took me a while the first night to find something to eat but the second night was even more painful. Even though the food was good, selection was not.

Good food, great atmosphere

By D W |

Good hotel restaurant with good range of food choices, great atmosphere. The food arrived hot, well-prepared and tasted great! Lots of TVs to watch sports or other programs. Busy bar scene.

Sushi and More..

By OSUfanHouston |

Our group had sushi fans and not so much, thankfully everyone was accommodated here. The Sushi people were happy with their vivid sushi selections, which they raved about, the Southern Fans enjoyed the Brisket BBQ Sliders, fried green tomatoes and fries. The place is very lively and well patronized throughout evening. Decent beverage selections and an array of food outside of sushi.

Great Salads!!

By MaryButters |

Nice atmosphere. Good for solo travelers. Had the garden salad with miso dressing feta and peaches. It was DELICIOUS! I can say however, AVOID the fried green tomatoes. Those were awful. Mostly breading. But can’t compliment that salad enough. Can’t wait to go back. Wonderful wine list.

Very slow service

By mylenes326 |

We were provided dinner through work so we ate here. The fried green tomatoes were amazing. The food overall was very good but the service was SLOW. We almost left before our entree came it was taking that long. Obviously didn't order dessert because we didn't want to wait another hour for that. If service was faster it would have been 5 star.

Wonderful service

By Steve O |

This place exceeded our expectations. The service was great and the food was excellent. Prices were what I would expect for this type of restaurant. Burgers were in the $14-$15 range with other entrees around $20 or a bit more. There is no cell reception in the restaurant (or in the hotel rooms for that matter - they do have free wi-fi that is fast) but I had to step outside the restaurant area toward the lobby to get cell reception. However, there is no need to look elsewhere if you just want a quick but very decent meal.

Great service

By DFS13 |

Ate at the bar and the food was very good for a hotel restaurant. Monica, the bartender, was super sweet and so positive. It was so refreshing to receive such great service. I had the French Onion Soup, sushi, and some sliders and everything was delicious.

Standard Hotel Food

By Stephen S |

My wife and I arrived hungry after traveling and went immediately to the restaurant. Since it was only 6:00 p.m. we were seated quickly. Our waitress, TK, was very friendly and got our first round of drinks quickly. Beer was very cold. Wine was good but quite pricy. We had a California roll that was only adequate. Ordered burgers for the main course and specifically asked if a medium rare would really be medium rare or if it would be overlooked. We were promised it would be as ordered, Of course, both of our burgers were overlooked. The burgers were good and would have been very good if anywhere close to what we ordered. Another waitress took over midway through the meal and no one bothered to ask us how the food was. Since there are no other restaurants close by, you will be stuck with eating at this one. It's not bad, just not of the quality you'd hope for. If you order a burger, order less well cooked than you normally would. BTW, my wife has the baked potato and it came with all side if toppings on the side. Nice touch.

Better than regular hotel fare, freshly prepared

By Marsha E |

Had the chicken breast with spinach and grilled tomatoes for one meal. It was delicious. Very good service.

Too busy too be served “Jack” and his crew were so busy with each other that to get served was 20 minutes.

By GalenDesMoines |

Jack was extremely occupied with coworkers business and his coworker had no problem letting everyone she needed her break and what she was going to eat. I had a company discount for food and still left a $1 tip feeling I was cheated!

Blueberry Cobbler to die for

By William K |

When eating here, if you are lucky enough to be waited on by Kim or Charlotte, you will experience an almost perfect dining experience.

Fine to go if you stay at the Marriott. Good quality but expensive

By Joeri E |

Don't have much to complain, mu Cobb salad was fresh and well prepared, the service was good and friendly, and fast. The atmosphere is OK. But the price of 2 beers was scary. Staying at the Marriott this is a convenient choice, but I would not come here otherwise

Don't Be Fooled By Location

By MoHog |

Wow. That's all I can say. Wow. This place is the winner of The Quest for the Best Shrimp & Grits in the South. Think I'm crazy? Go try it and tell me I'm wrong. A great discovery while facilitating an edu presentation at the Marriott. Even revisited this place on a subsequent trip to ATL, just for the unique menu. Oh, they also offer Famous Grouse and spiced, candied pecans. Winning.
