Recently tried this after my son's recommendations as he eats here 3-4 times a week We tried almost every item on the menu and it was all delicious. Most of all is value. These items could easily sell for 2x but I'm not complaining.

Great place for beginners!!!! I was introduced to good quality ramen by my spouse. I have always been the type of person to want to try new things but is always afraid to make a fool of myself when ordering. This place makes it simple. They have a easy to read menu, with enough options to please all customers but not to many where it is overwhelming to read. Service has been good to great the 3 times that we have visited. Pros: Friendly staff that takes time to guide through menu. Clean establishment, great cocktail menu, easy to locate. Cons: Haven't been able to find one yet. I may still be in the honeymoon faze with this place so I'll update if found.

Sunday evening the traditional stay at home night caught us off guard with a 55 minute wait. We went next door for craft beer sampling and were texted when a table was available. The brussel sprouts and seared scallops as an appetizer are amazing. Forget trying to order the tsukmen pork belly ramen as it sells out early on every day. instead we had the tonkotsu & both my son &I licked our bowls clean. Fantastic value for money and always well worth the wait.

Strongly recommend. Waitress very helpful at figuring this out. Very good food. Hope to return very soon.

Just had lunch at Wabi House and I must say everything was excellent. We had Tempura veggies and Spicy Miso Ramen! Both excellent!!! This is a great place for lunch or dinner! Be sure to make a dinner reservation, this place fills up fast!!! Highly recommend!!

If you are in the mood for some good ramen, this is the place to go. Not only is the food good but the service was wonderful and patient. I went with a group of friends and it was our first time experiencing Wabi House. Our waitress, Chelsea was kind, patient and helpful.

I LOVE this place! I have to admit... I had no clue that “ramen” was actually a thing, outside of the little instant packets that you buy at a grocery store. This place was recommended by a medical team I was working with during a brief trip to Dallas. The atmosphere is amazing! Very nice and clean restaurant. I liked their outdoor eating area too! The staff is super friendly. I also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood they are located in. I ordered the Spicy Miso and added Shiitake Mushrooms to the ingredients that were already included in the dish. It was SO YUMMY, and the presentation was amazing! Large portions and very reasonably priced. I’ll definitely include this on future trips to Dallas.

Came here with a party of ten, for my birthday.. first they don't do reservations horrid for a popular eatery in downtown Dallas.. secondly we were here at 7 pm they were out of close to 50% of the items on the menu. Lastly they were also out of spoons. Out of spoons for a ramen place. That's like running out of forks at Olive garden.. food was good but service was sub par..

The ramen here was delicious, and they had no issue accommodating me with my requests to change. It was hard to decide on an appetizer as so many of the options looked delicious! Would definitely recommend the fried shittake mushrooms! Nice bar and cocktail menu as well! No issues with service!

I was afraid this would be some hipsterfied joint, but the food felt surprisingly authentic, and while it is somewhat westernized, it is still great food. get the tsukemen (I think they start serving it at 5 or 5:30)!

I ate at Wabi House twice last week, my first and second visits. The first time was lunch, with a friend. The atmosphere was subdued, and we quickly found a seat. Service was speedy and helpful. We were there for the ramen, and it did not disappoint. I would also note that at lunch ramen bowls are $3 off, so I was able to get a bowl of ramen and split an appetizer for under $10 (before tip). For lunch, I tried the dry garlic ramen--no broth, but silky noodles with great taste, including the egg and additions. For the appetizer, we shared the chicken karage, deep fried chicken nuggets with a flavorful aioli. The pressed watermelon, there as a garnish, was a fun surprise. I took my spouse back to Wabi House for a late dinner on a Saturday night. The place was hopping--we ran into a couple of local yogis with whom we practice. The wait was about 30 minutes, but we sat immediately at two open seats at a banquette at the back. We started with the raw hamachi, in a spicy chili sauce, 5-6 tasty pieces. My wife then devoured the beets and brussels. The pan-fried brussels were topped with crispy threads of red beets--a great mix of taste and textures. I tried the shoyu ramen, going with two eggs instead of chashu. It was a nice spicy broth, and beautifully prepared. We finished with some hot sake. At $45 pre-tip, it was a great meal in a fun environment. We will return. NOTE: While parking can be problematic on Greenville, Wabi House does have its own parking spaces across the street.

First thing you need to know... Their signature ramen, Tsukemen, is ONLY available after 5pm. It's worth the wait. Secondly, you'll want to try all the starters, but this trip I opted for the corn fritters... They were incredible!

This little gem has great food that is outside the typical oriental style restaurant. They have something for every palate. Quaint environment in the Dallas area with excellent food and service. If you want to try something new and different - this place will not disappoint. Their fried chicken pieces dipped into one of their fabulous bowls is an excellent combination!

We decided to try this place to satisfy our monthly craving for ramen. We've been to tons of places in DFW only to find the ramen either meh or something that would disappoint us. Wabi House is a no nonsense place to satisfy that ramen craving. Parking: Parking is limited in the back as it shares parking with the adjoining record store. Street parking can be had. Ambiance: Not too much. There's a bar and lots of table. Seems to be a "hip" ramen joint or at least it's how they try to promote it. But I don't go to eat ramen for the ambiance. More places should take their cue from the Japanese. Just give me a table, a chair, a bowl of ramen and some chopsticks. Service: Wait staff very helpful as to make recommendation based on your likes. Also recommended some great appetizers. Water glasses always kept full. Food: First, I had my requisite Moscow Mule. Absolutely delicious. One of the best I've ever had. I ordered the Spicy Miso. The noodles had just the right chewiness, the pork was so tender and flavorful and the soft boiled egg was perfectly done. I slurped and gobbled my way through a huge bowl of deliciousness in about 2 minutes. Boy, was I hungry. We also got some appetizers. The fried pig ears were fantastic. The kids polished off two plates so we ended up ordering a third. Overall: Great value for the money. Delicious! Satisfying. Did I already say delicious? I highly recommend this place. I want to try Sumo Shack (sister restaurant I believe) which also serves ramen.

As far as ramen goes, this is exactly what the Dr ordered. Simple, tasty, and fulfilling. If you've never had ramen, this is a great place to start 😉

First time here, so menu was a little hard to decipher. After looking up many of the terms on the menu, we made our choices. Waiter didn’t seem to want to explain anything, so we were a little leery. Food arrived and it was very good. Some unusual mixes, but very tasty. Service was just okay.

I could easily go 4.5 stars for this place. We wanted something light, such as soup for lunch, and we ended up choosing this restaurant to try. It's on lower Greenville, right before Ross, but the restaurant is a bit hard to find and it is not well marked. Once we found it, the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday morning. We started with corn fritters and they were excellent. Fresh corn, deep fried and topped with a spicy mayo. I would get them again in a heartbeat. The wife and I both ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, hers with egg, mine without. Both were outstanding. The flavors are delicious and come together perfectly. Just a fabulous flavor combination. It was by far the best ramen I have had in my life. Surprisingly filling. My mom got the veggie ramen and really liked hers as well. Three winners for sure. They keep the restaurant really cold, not cool, but cold, and there is an open air bar so their electric bill must be enormous. It actually is rather uncomfortable. The ambience is casual and modern. The restaurant is clean and our service was impeccable. We really liked this place and hope to return soon.

My quest is to find the best ramen in the US. My current favorite in Jinya in Houston. We went to Wabi after learning Tei-An was closed for the week. Simple menu, yet plenty of options. Service was attentive but not over bearing. Great raw fish apps, and excellent ramen. I love the corn for the added texture and flavor. The spicy bomb on the side had plenty of kick and the egg was off the charts.

I had never heard of Karaage before and saw good reviews so I figured I would stop in and try it since I’m not a big ramen/soup fan. This did not disappoint and the small plate was large enough to be a meal for me. I intended on ordering more but there was no room in my stomach for it lol. The chicken isn’t greasy at all and has a nice flavor (reminded me of chicken wings done right at best hole in the wall Chinese restaurants) the aioli had a nice kick too it and the watermelon had some type of spice on it that complimented the chicken. Take a bite of the pepper it’s served with for some extra spice. Very quick service. It came out in about 5 minutes and my waitress kept my glass full.

We had terrific soup at this restaurant. I highly recommend if you are a Ramen lover. We had three of their different soups and they were awesome along with the beets and brussels sprout appetizer. The service was fine, nothing amazing and nothing terrible. But I highly recommend for the food. This place is a must.

We are ramen enthusiasts! We have tasted lots of ramen around USA, and this is one of the top 10 on our lists! Generous amount of noodles and very tasty ramen broth, especially the spicy miso soup. We ordered the crispy pork ears and takoyaki and they are equally delicious. Will be back again soon!

My family thought we would try a new Ramen place, we really like the Miso Ramen in Richardson. This was good also but we think the water made the broth taste a little “off” I ordered the dry garlic, it has thicker noodles and was really good!! Nice atmosphere , I didn’t get a photo but it has a great indoor/outdoor bar with patio.

We had a BIZARRE experience here one night. First of all, the food was great. We had the brussels and beets which were outstanding. Perfectly roasted brussel sprouts topped with shredded, fried beets. The crunch and flavors were perfect. Also a hit were the fried chickpeas and the Wabi tuna. We chose the veggie ramen and added egg and snow peas. All the food was excellent. HOWEVER: This is obviously not a sophisticated wine restaurant. The wine service and the bar service were abysmal. Almost every bottle of wine is also served by the glass. We wanted to order a bottle of wine. We sat at the bar. The bartender was awful during the few times he paid attention to us. He told us a number of times he used to work at FT33. If he did, he wasn’t a bartender or he wasn’t a successful one. He was dishonest. We specifically ordered a bottle of Sauvingnon Blanc that was NOT a New Zealand SB. We made it a point to tell the bartender that we did not like NZ SB. We were sitting at the bar, and we could see that he poured a taste from the NZ SB. He didn’t show us the bottle and presented it as though it was the wine we ordered. When we called him on it, he said, “Well, we were out of the other one.” This would have been a non issue, except he chose to be dishonest. Then we ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio. He gave us a taste of one which we approved. He then opened a different bottle to serve us and it tasted completely different from the actual taste he had given us. We asked to see the bottle and then 2 more. It was clear that the vintage date had been handwritten to make the bottle appear fresher (which is how you want to drink this wine). We asked to talk with a manager. He (RA) said he is the beverage manager and explained to us that there is no way this is his fault. The fault lied with the distributor. Then we watched him and the GM yell at each other for 5 minutes across the restaurant. They can see that we are paying attention which doesn’t alter their behavior. OK…. We still have no wine to drink. We order a bottle of Erath Pinot Noir. He opens a bottle, brings us a taste and we approve, pours 2 glasses. At this point the GM walks up to further explain why none of these issues are their fault. While talking with her, we notice the bottle of Erath has disappeared. My husband asks here where it is and she goes on a treasure hunt. She can’t find it, so she asks RA where it is. They yell at each other some more and then he brings us ANOTHER, unopened bottle of wine and says, “We’re going to buy you those 2 glasses and we’ll open a fresh bottle for you!!!” Fresh bottle? Why? What happened to our supposedly new bottle they had supposedly just opened?” Finally I ask the GM if I can have the contact information for the owner. She says she can’t really give that out (?!?). I say fine. I can find it. As we’re leaving the restaurant, the owner comes out behind us and apologizes profusely. He said he was in the kitchen and noticed that there was something going on. We explained our evening to him and he was extremely apologetic. He said he’s had trouble finding good people to hire. We hope he is able to find some honest, ethical employees because we loved the food. He has some extremely unethical people working for him. In fact, we paid with cash as we felt better if these people didn’t have our names:(

This is one of the best places to get Ramen in Dallas. Try the dry garlic ramen and you will thank me later.

Great ramen place for both the new and experienced ramen-eater. Great patio atmosphere when the weather is nice and a comfy indoor seating area. If you're interested in sitting inside on a weekend evening, make reservations!! Otherwise you'll have to wait or sit at the bar (which I personally love). The key to this whole review is the Tsukemen Ramen, their signature ramen that isn't available until the dinner service (so don't pout if you go in before 5pm and can't get it...I warned you). Good things take time... And this is GREAT.

I was visiting just for the day and was craving ramen. I'm glad I stumbled onto Wabi House and their spicy miso ramen is top 5 in the US. I've had ramen in several cities around the country and Wabi's ramen was amazing. I cannot attest to the other food, but the ramen was top notch.

If you are looking for great tasting Japanese food especially ramen, this is a great option. I had the Spicy Miso (minced pork, poached egg, bamboo, chili oil) and loved it. My family had Tonkotsu (braised pork, ajitama egg, mushroom, corn, chili oil) and Shoyu (braised pork, ajitama egg, bamboo, garlic) Ramen. They loved theirs as well. The mixed drinks and Edamame appetizer made the food and drinks a home run for everyone. The restaurant and service were just okay. The tiny patio had a nice charm, but the interior is bland with virtually no decor or atmosphere of any kind. Service was a bit slow and lacked a pleasant aspect. In a way, the service matched the bland atmosphere. The restaurant is located in Lower Greenville, so parking is always a challenge especially during the weekends. Waits are very long to get a table. There are not many seats inside. A minimum wait is probably 30 minutes, but it could easily be 2 hours. It's fastest if you are a single or double. You can sit at the bar or one of several two-person tables.

Make sure you get a reservation if you wish to dine during popular hours! This was a 2nd vusit, the 1st time with friends. Service is efficient and very friendly. Decor is fine but sparse if that matters to you. Great selection of cocktails, a few good wines and a small selection of beers. They DID have Hitachino Ales which are worth their price. If you're a beer aficionado, you must try them. Appetizers & Ramen comprise the menu. First, every ramen dish here is excellent. 10 years ago ramen was almost unknown in Dallas. Now it's popping up everywhere. Rarely is it unsatisfying but rarely is the broth THIS good. Appetizers are a mixed bag. Veggie tempura was near perfect. Sashimi dishes also excellent. Kara-age was good but the chunks were too big. Good chili aioli though. Avoid the shiitake mushroom - bone marrow dish. It tastes oily. Fried pig ears are a much better choice. A beets & brussel sprouts dish is also worth avoiding.

Great small plates. We had the octopus and chicken small plates. Delicious. I had the spicy miso. I would recommend it. A great taste with a kick. With the beautiful weather the entire front opens up at the bar to allow a nice indoor/outdoor feel. Great for drinks, small bites, or a meal.

Always good to go and have a Ramen Bowl of awesomeness. Try the chicken karaage appetizer and the pork croquette, you're welcome!

Delicious small plates and ramen. My boyfriend and I started with the fried shiitake mushrooms with bone marrow butter and the fried pork ears. Both were very tasty and I highly recommend the shiitakes! We had the shoyu broth with extra eggs and the tonkotsu. Shoyu broth was a little on the salty side but very flavorful. The tonkotsu was one of the best I have had in the DFW area. Drinks were strong and service was great!

In town on business with some co-workers. Company paid for the meal so I'm not sure how expensive it was but it didn't seem bad when looking at the menu. The Tsukemen(sp?) was fantastic. Waitress was friendly and helpful for a ramen rookie like myself.

Went for lunch with a friend. Best ramen I've ever had! Only reason it wasn't 5 stars: service was pleasant but very slow for only a half-full restaurant. I'll totally go back.Oh! They also have ramen for $8 during lunch!

The wait is always extremely long for larger parties. And the hostess told us to leave when the wait was an hour in a very rude way. First time we went food was ok but again service was mediocre.

FINALLY!! A GOOD ramen place in Dallas that 1.) lives up to the hype and 2.) offers veggie ramen that's ACUTALLY flavorful! We started off with corn fritters and the kale tako (for him) and veggie ramen and spicy miso as our main course. They did NOT disappoint. The corn fritters were made with fresh roasted corn and came with 3 pretty big pieces. The kale tako was cooked kale (crispy like kale chips) topped with thin slices of octopus on top. I obviously didn't eat it, but the Mr. seemed to enjoy it because it was gone by the time ate 1 corn fritter! The ramen.. what to say about the ramen other than AMAZING! There was SO much flavor in the veggie ramen, which is vegan by the way. It comes with a huge portion of noodles and PLENTY of veggies. I added nori and a poached egg to mine. The Mr. had the spicy miso ramen and also enjoyed it. Tons of flavor and meat, he did mention it did have a kick to it, but otherwise it was good. The service wasn't that great though. The waitress seemed uninterested in anything going on and didn't write down our orders- which explained why when I got my ramen, it was missing the poached egg and nori. Aside from that, she refilled our waters and didn't bother us. Regardless of her attitude, the food was great and the service didn't deter us from wanting to come again.

So glad we decided to give this place a try! It is excellent. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Will definitely stop back by when in the area.

If you are looking for something different than the typical soup and sandwiche shop....come here! You get freshly made raman noodles and a bar! i recommend the plum wine. I didn't go crazy with my ramen and was very impressed. i had enough left over to take home with me in to enjoy the next day.

Went for dinner after a large lunch looking for something lighter. Found their varieties of ramen refreshing. The tonkotsu and Shoyu were spot on from a flavor standpoint, especially with the differences in broth. However, we asked for the Shoyu made spicy (different, I know) and they forgot - we had to ask again for a cup of hot peppers later. Also, the server forgot our spoons! LOL. Hard to eat ramen without spoons... I'd say simple oversight, but Wabi House wasn't especially busy at the time. All in all, those things are minor and were rectified quickly, and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend it.

We'd only recently heard of Wabi House and decided to go for a pre-concert dinner. We started off with the pork croquettes, a order of which consisted of three nicely deep fried croquettes. The pork is puréed with a bechamel sauce. Very tasty. We also had the seared hotate (scallops) served with a kizami (nori) sauce. There were four silver dollar sized scallops nicely seared and topped with baby sprouts. Another winner. There are six ramen dishes on the menu and the most popular is the tonkotsu. This comes in a large bowl filled with a wonderfully flavored broth accompanied with chasu (roast pork), woodear mushrooms, corn, a soft boiled egg and scallions along with an large portion of ramen noodles. There's a whole slew of extras you can add ranging from $1.00 - $3.00 each. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed Wabi House and heartily recommend it. We'll certainly be back.

We stopped in for dinner and it was a great decision. Started with the pork fritters and bone marrow butter mushrooms, both are highly recommended. Main courses were tonkotsu ramen and tsukemen. Everything was great. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were very reasonable

Our party tried just about every appetizer and ramen from the menu.....and each dish just kept getting better and better. I can’t wait to return for another meal.

Spicy Miso Ramen. Out of this world De-Licious. This spicy, slightly salty, silky, rich, porky, succulent, savory broth covered perfectly cooked ramen noodles (not under or over cooked) was just what I was craving on this cold wet day. Let me tell ya, it blew my mind with how DELICIOUS it was. The place was packed when I got here and I know why. I will be back. Thank you for phenomenal food.

Great authentic ramen. Ambiance is very friendly. Staff was attentive throughout the whole experience. Will definitely be back!

Spicy miso is amazing. Good service and excellent food. This place is very good. Note that hours are limited. Highly recommended.

Comfort food at its finest. Great restaurant on lowest Greenville. They have a cool inside and a great indoor / outdoor bar. The spicy miso ramen is the BEST. Fresh ingredients and a real kick to it! We also had the spicy edamame which was great! Can’t wait to come back!

A number of ramen places has sprung up in Dallas. If you are looking for an authentic, flavorful ramen place... You have to go elsewhere. The quality of the broth here has really gone down and the noodles were surprisingly bland and slightly over-cooked. The ramen noodles should have a chew texture, not being totally soft. The sides were the saving graze, otherwise this would have gotten a 2 star.

great food - quick service - went at lunch time - late lunch; crowd continuous but got a table fast and service was really fast and easy - tried the fried pig ears - fun table topic and interesting - both noodle dishes - garlic very good and not in a soup 'considered dry' which we liked and the spicey was very good flavor

Went here with a colleague for a business discussion. Noise level was low so great for a conversation. Was not familiar with menu and waitress did a fine job explaining it. We both enjoyed the small plates we ordered as well as the ramen. Service was very attentive. Easy parking at side of building. Nice relaxing lunch.
Tasty Ramen
Pretty delicious if you're in the mood for Ramen. I can personally vouch for the Spicy Miso, the Dry Garlic and the Tonkostu. 4 stars because I didn't find the service all that great, but it's a trendy, divey spot - perfect for a lunch date or night out.
