Beautiful restaurant! Great food and service! Lots of options food and drinks! Highly recommending for lunch and dinner.

Located in Fontainebleau, this might be the best Chinese restaurant in Vegas. I've eaten here many times and the food has always been terrific. The staff is friendly and professional and food has always been perfectly prepared and very tasty.

Good Chinese restaurant in the new Fointainbeau hoyel in Las Vegas. Duck. The place is owned by Alan Yau, an Englishman born in Jong Kong who has a restaurant in NY with Michelin star, Hakkassan.

What a great restaurant located in Fontainebleau! Beautiful decor, great staff, and excellent food and drinks! We tried multiple dishes and our favorite was the Beef Chow Fun! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Washing Potato!

My wife and I ate at the Washing Potato twice during our stay at the Fontainbleau hotel and we had a terrific time. All of the food was absolutely lovely, tasty, well seasoned and generous in portion size. We equally thought it offered good value for money considering the quality of the hotel, and general cost of similar restaurants in Las Vegas. The service was also really good, with the food coming out quickly and being lovely and hot. The lobster dish was really good and worth a try. All of the dumplings were also super fresh tasting. Hopefully the photos of the food do it justice. We would certainly recommend a visit !

Great looking dim sum restaurant with slightly below mediocre food. Came here last weekend since we had resort credits to spend and the restaurant looked interesting. The design of the restaurant is actually very nice and the atmosphere as well, but the food is really not good. We tried the Assorted Barbecue Plate, Beef Chow Fun, and Bok Choy with Garlic - the barbecue plate was the worst, the beef chow fun was somewhat ok, the bok choy was good. But all quite greasy and more fusion style than original dim sum. For drinks we tried the Matcha Mar-Tea-Ni, which was creative but not too tasty, and the Lychee Lemonade which was alright. Altogether we spend nearly $200 for this small and subpar dinner. Given the price, 2 stars still feels quite generous.

My husband and I loved this place. The pricing was great compared to other restaurants in Las Vegas and the food was excellent. We split a bunch of things but our favorite two dishes were the Mongolian beef and the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling). It was so good that we went back for those two dishes the next day.

I dined at this restaurant as a Resort guest choosing it from the many present. Great choice! Reasonably priced (to be in Las Vegas) dinners with a choice of dishes, all with a touch of personality (great Peking duck salad), and informal but efficient service. Recommended!

Went twice during our 4 day stay at Fountainbleu. We had the mongolian beef and the general Taos chicken Service was on point and even got a free dessert for my birthday. Looking forward to goingback.

I went with a friend that had been before so, I was unaware. The check in felt pretentious and 'Vegas-like' We got a fantastic table and the server had a great sense of life. we started with the Roland Lavantureux, Petit Chablis. Great wine for the meal. The Beef Brisket Noodle soup was so flavorful, tender beef with perfect noodles. Crispy Pork was served with Hot Mustard and Grey Salt, a fantastic dipping blend. the Pan-Fried Prawn and Chive Dumplings were an extra treat that helped the wine get finished. A great treat at 9pm and not too expensive in Vegas

Great restaurant & fab food. We went for lunch & was so nice to have Chinese food for a change. Lots of choices on the menu so we had 3 starters & 1 main to share, which was plenty for 2 of us. Highly recommend & worth a visit

My husband had a business trip to Vegas and was staying at the Fontainbleau. I met him there and we had some time to kill between checking out there and heading to another hotel for the weekend. We decided to let the hotel hold our bags and we checked out Washing Potato. I'm so glad we did! We had a great server: Cindy according to our receipt. She guided us on ordering some favorites and let us just hang out and eat and drink to our hearts content. Some of our favorites were the Prawn and Chive Dumplings and the Crispy Yuba Prawn Cheung Fun - so good we ordered two! We also had the Vietnamese Spring Roll, The Jasmine Tea Ribs, the Beef Ball with Watercre, Scallop Shumai, and the Beef Chow Fun. I would order any of those again but especially the Dumplings and the Cheung Fun, for sure. Each bite was an absolute pleasure.

We were visiting this new, rather extraordinary hotel and casino, as we had heard it was very impressive - it certainly was! We love Dim Sum and lunch was calling, so we were pleased to find this really nice restaurant. The look is excellent - very modern and well laid out. The menu was was really good and the service, of course, was excellent. We only wanted something smallish, so we chose: - Venison puffs - Squash and pine nut dumplings - Char Siu cheung fun - Prawn cheung fun - Custard buns All dishes were really well prepared and presented. Very tasty - we could have eaten a lot more! (Also posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16)

Really wanted dim sum and this was pretty solid for a non Chinatown restaurant. Good choices . Loved all the dumplings and bao and mocha balls. The Chinese dishes main dishes were well prepared. For a quick lunch, it was very nice. Only critique is that there is ZERO signage a In the hotel as to how to get there and Apple Maps couldn’t walk us there either. Would go back. If you want dim sum in Vegas at a fair price, this is the place to go.

Excellent chinese food. Came with a group that had gluten and seafood allergies, restaurant very accomodating. Our server Cindy, was amazing, did such a great job at suggesting dishes that all diners could share. Every dish excellent. Really liked the banana dessert and the red bean dessert, tasted like chocolate. Liquor drinks a bit watered down, but tasty, would stick with the excellent teas and beer. Definitely coming back.

The food was very fresh and good. The service nonexistent. Had dines in one kf the restaurant in the hotel and service was excellent. Had to wait over 20mins for dessert and tne check as we had a show to attend. If I could rate the service it would be one star..

Absolutely amazing. K was a great server, the space is beautiful and modern, and the food was delicious and fairly priced. Crispy shredded beef was a highlight. One of my favorite meals in the last few years and I can't recommend it enough.

Nice atmosphere inside!! The staffs are friend and service was fast!! Great food and the portion was big!! Fresh food and good Peking duck.

Washing potato is located on a corner hard to find since the signage is only on the restaurant itself, no signs above /in between aisles, but they are helpful in giving you directions and even walk you there. Dimsum is served whole day, so tried the turnip cake, very average' Singapore curry noodle, would avoid it and order something else; beef brisket noodle soup, too salty, beef was fine; Xiao long bao, quite a far cry from Ding Tai Fung, others not worth mentioning, Mu shu pork had a medicinal taste. We ate here twice one at the place and another to go, just average for a hotel like Fortainebleu. Servers were very good.

Absolutely great service and food in a very different atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things. Great addition to the Vegas food scene

Quality of the food is oof the scale compared to my many trips to China’s best restaurants the food was immaculate, but unfortunately the service levels were lacking which really spoiled the experience perhaps the staff need training as they were willing but I guess with a new restaurant comes new staff

The vibe in this restaurant is so awesome and they are open for lunch and dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent. Make sure to try the duck which they will debone and slice for you and all of the dumplings we tried were so good. Not your average dim sum. The iced teas and cocktails are very special.

Absolutely amazing dinner at Washing Potato. Staff are great and the food is phenomenal. Highly recommend the peking duck and the Mongolian beef.

Very odd experience here yesterday. I am staying at the Fontainebleau and visited here for dim sum last year and enjoyed it. I went this evening to see if they had a table for one as they don’t have a bar seating area. They said no so I decided to book for tomorrow night. While I was there booking and adding the booking to my diary a man walked up and asked for a table for two and said he hadn’t booked. They seated him straight away. When I asked why he was given a seat having arrived after me and they had plenty of tables the hostess said he was a returning customer and the empty tables were for large parties. They actually don’t have tables for one, so all the tables are too large!!! I pointed out I was a returning customer having eaten there last year and also pointed out a small empty corner table near the reception area. She seated me very reluctantly. The waitress who served me was very different, she was very, very pleasant and helpful. She came back a few times to make sure my food was OK and to check if I needed anything else. I order char siu bao and some chicken dumplings. Both were very tasty and well presented. The music was a bit loud but the restaurant is pleasant enough. I will go somewhere else next time I am looking for somewhere to eat in the hotel as I am here for the next few nights. Somewhere that is more welcoming.

I was staying at the Fontainebleau and wanted a light bite for lunch so stopped here for some dim sum. Service was a bit slow but that was because there were only a couple of servers working although there were more people apparently working clearing the tables and offering water and sauces. I had the turnip cakes, some shrimp dim sum and char siu bao. All three arrived at the table piping hot so freshly prepared and very tasty. I had been given three dishes of different sauces but stuck to basic soy as the other two were chilli base. I asked for a watermelon juice but it was off the menu the day I visited, but they brought tap water to the table without being asked so that was fine. I enjoyed my lunch here and the food other people were eating looked equally delicious!

Washing Potato is such a fun surprise inside Fontainebleau. The vibe is laid-back but super stylish, moody lights, modern design, that makes it feel different from the usual dim sum spots. The dim sum is solid, dumplings are fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Noodle dishes hit the spot too, not heavy, just really satisfying. Service was friendly and chill, never rushed. It’s not your traditional Chinatown dim sum vibe — it’s more of a modern, Vegas take with a little flair. Perfect place to grab good food, hang out, and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you’re exploring the resort.

We are always in the mood for good Chinese food and how great that Washing Potato is located at the Fountainebleu where we were staying. It is close to Chez Bon Bon. It is a fine dining restaurant specializing in dim sum dishes. They also have a good varirty of other dishes. The ambiance was trendy, great lighting, and bright decor colors. The dress code was business casual. They have the friendliest staff, who stop to fill your water glass or bring something you may need. It's a teamwork approach that I appreciated. Our server was Cindy, who was very nice, attentive and very good at explaining the menu and which were the popular items. We started with cocktails. I had the Lychee Martini and my daughter had the Siete Leguas Reposado. Both drinks were delicious and refreshing. For our main course, I ordered the Beef Chow Fun, which was pretty good and the fried noodles were tasty. My daughter loves shrimp and ordered the Salt & Pepper Prawns dish, which she said was good. We split the Banana Spring Roll, which was like fried bananas with ice cream and was also good. We had a nice time, the music was great but a little too loud. We would return on our next trip.

The best Cantonese food in Vegas!! Dim sum was good, duck was unique. The service was excellent- the team paid attention to our special requests & were kind.

Great casual Asian food. Might be the best Chinese food in Vegas. Located at Fountainbleu on the first floor with great decor and service but the food is the best. Outstanding service, great food what more could you ask for.
Amazing place!
What a great place to have dinner! Food was just amazing, our waiter Max recommended some delicious dishes as well as gave us a little background about the restaurant and the great chef they have. Dishes are unique and very tasty. I had Jasmine tea served with a blue pea flower.. very cool! Restaurant is very intimate and cozy. We highly recommend it! Thank you! So
