Water Grill Wow!

By Ken P |

Stopped by early in the evening to just have a drink and a few oysters. I was very intrigued by the menu and decided to make this a dinner. The brilliant bartender Mark guided me thru a tasting of different oysters and then delivered the most perfect Chilean sea bass, followed by desert.

Get the octopus! šŸ™

By Lesley B |

The Water Grill is in the Forum shops at Caesar’s. It has a nice ambience and the hostess was really nice. We were seated at the time of our reservation. We had the wild Spanish octopus (amazing!), Brussel sprouts with chestnuts (so good!) and wild pacific big eye tuna (so so). For dessert, I had the sorbet (love the presentation) and my boyfriend had the coffee panna cotta.

Perfection!!!

Stopped when we got hungry

By Jason S |

We stopped here when we got hungry. We were told that we would have to wear a mask. Our son has some so sensory issues that makes it hard for him to wear a mask. I have never understood the needing to wear a mask in a restaurant. The hostess agreeded to let us sit without a mask which is what everyone else in the place already was doing including others that just sat down in front of us. The waitress even made a point to question our son on why he wouldn't wear a mask which was kind of embarrasing. Then we look over and one of the waiters has the mask on but not over his nose. It was just an awkward, seeing staff now following rules, and then other staff engaging with other customers that were not wearing a mask with no concerns. Anyways we did order the fish and chips. The chunck of fish that came out was so large I couldn't eat it all. Our son did order a grilled cheese and he ate almost all of it. My wife also had the fish and chips and almost got all the fish down. Overall if it was not for the weird exchange about the masks, and yes this was before the mandatory order went into place, I think this would have been a perfect experience.

Great Place!

By summitsvs |

Wow! Great find! Had a wonderful dinner and drinks with great service. Full bar with a lot of wine and beer selections. Had the crab cake of course, no lump crab available but the taste was good. However, did not like spiciness of the sauce. Their bread was fantastic! The sea bass with the gnocchi was to die for. I’m going back before I leave town and again when I come back to town!

Worst dinner ever

By hollysteinbach |

Went for Dinner Saturday night. The food was horrible. The mussels were terrible undercooked and sauce was not good. Had the Cioppino it was terrible. Shared the Japanese Wagyu and Crab legs both were terrible. Four hundred dollar dinner and not one thing was good. I had been there a year ago and had a great experience.

Great meal

Went for dinner after seeing a show at Caesars. Convenient two minute walk into the Forum Shops. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent staff, quite knowledgeable concerning their menu. Would definitely go here again.

Caesars Gem for Food

By Vinny_Vegaz |

Outstanding experience. Service great. Food exceptional. Had apps, oysters and some sushi. Sat at bar. A must and highly recommend

Great seafood

The wife and I ate here twice our last trip to Las Vegas. The service and food were exceptional. I would highly recommend.

Seafood Delight

By njoireading247 |

We were there to celebrate a birthday and the staff made a note of that! The service was spotty at times, but at others was great. Took a very long time to order cocktails and have them delivered. It seemed as though once our drinks were delivered we need to order immediately. We kept saying let us enjoy our drink and we order an appetizer. Calamari that was really good. The table next to us seemed to get all the attention, with their seafood tower and free champagne. When they were served, the wait staff remembered us and the rest of the evening was fine. The food was good, but not spectacular. Fried cod was good, but no vegetables except french fries which were not great. The shrimp alfredo was good but the better dish was the salmon.

Valentines Treat

By Jym8688 |

We were two couples visiting the Water Grill for dinner. They offered a 4 course dinner with wine paring options. We chose the sea bass and king salmon entree’s which was prepared better than any other place we’ve eaten. The only bad thing was they served so much food that we couldn’t finish our bread pudding and key lime pie for deserts. The food and wait staff were awesome.

Just wow!

By Roger C |

Incredible cocktails. Good by-the-glass wine selection. Service was great. The food... spectacular. Quite noisy but it was a packed house. Will be back again.

Mediocre food

By Connor |

The sushi I had at the airport earlier was way better than the quite boring king crab roll here. Black cod was okay; seafood in general tasted fresh but nothing jumped out. The only part of the meal that I somewhat enjoyed instead of striking me as overwhelmingly average was the soup of the cioppino. However, a few things were jarring, that nudge this down to 3 stars. The top crust portion of the bread was pure salt, thus inedible. And we received mashed potatoes drenched in butter instead of the Brussels sprouts we asked for. Could have been worse.

A nice surprise in the Forum Shops - 4.5+ Stars

By Will |

EXCELLENT. 4.5+ stars. YES we would go back. LONGER VERSION: We are Vegas locals, and this was our first time to Water Grill since it opened at the old Spago location. SERVICE: It was not busy, and we were seated in a private booth by request. Service from Natalie - our main server - was Outstanding. She was there when you needed her and had great advice to boot. Nice job. WINE and COCKTAILS: By the glass (and bottle) had a small but adequate selection, and we opted to go with a couple of wines by the glass - Just OK. FOOD: We started with a split of the New England Clam Chowder - Excellent. A slightly different prep than "normal" Clam Chowder, but very tasty. My companion had the Crab Legs, and I had the Sea Bass. Both were Excellent as well. All perfectly cooked the way we liked it and we would order them again. The homemade bread they serve was very yummy as well. OVERALL: A great experience if you can get around the noise from the Forum Shops. They do have quiet tables farther back in the restaurant. Higher end for pricing, but reasonable given the freshness of the meal. YES we would go back.

Great seafood

By JTKnott |

We chose the Water Grill before a concert at Caesar's Palace. We were told it is the newest restaurant in the Forum area. While they have a variety of items on the menu, including steak, this is a seafood restaurant. My wife had the sushi, which she said was excellent. I could not pass the fresh king crab legs which they sell by the pound. Very fresh. Service was great and timely as we were trying to get out for the concert. It is a little on the high side, but the seafood is so fresh it was worth it.

Water Grill Friday night perfect

By Laurie H |

Some friends and I met at the Water Grill on a Friday evening. It was a great experience. We chose appetizers and some gluten free dishes. Everything was delicious and the service was good. If you like bread they have the best bread!!! Not gluten free but worth having a piece. So yummy!

Top Notch

By rwkchang |

We decided to stop in because the curb appeal of the restaurant was really good. The bar area looked fabulous and the dining looked great. Once we sat down our server told us that they are owned by the same company as King's Fish House which we frequent regularly. Water Grill is definitely a step up from King's but not too much more expensive. We started off with some Oysters Rockefeller which were seasoned perfectly. We also ordered Wild Local White Sea Bass and Pan Seared Alaskan Halibut. Both were delicious and had good accompaniments. To top it all off, the dessert which was this strawberry thing with a pistachio cracker was to due for. And their house bread is some of the best I've had. They add a little salt on it which is what sets it apart

Excellent oyster selection

By Bacinac |

Fabulous selection of oysters. 50% of the menu changes everyday. Great service. Easy access in the forum shops. The regular menu is good too. I had fish and chips, cod fish tacos, green salad, heirloom salad , clam chowder over 2 visits. All were great. Next time will truly the sea urchin. Bartenders were spot on with cocktails. Large portions. Would recommend if looking for oysters or seafood in general. Expect to pay about $150 per person with generous gratuity.

Pricey but yummy so fresh

By Jennifer P |

Oh my so yummy it was hands down a family favorite We got to pick out or fresh lobster Tasted Devine! The waiter was awesome! What your tab if you get bottled water we had 3 and was charged for 4 other then that the visit was perfect. The bed table side had yummy Asiago cheese chunks which was mouth watering yummy. Came in for the halibut which didn’t disappoint husband got the swordfish and loved it kids got lobster with mash potato side and a macaroni which they both loved. All in all large bill but family was extremely happy.

Upscale seafood restaurant…:in the desert.

By Jedimasterkush |

This place spared no expense inn being what the inside of an upscale seafood restaurant should look like. Leather chairs, dark wood accents all around and the obligatory lobster tanks. Our waitress was very friendly but a couple of times she took just partial orders from us which was kind of odd but it all seemed to work out. We dined on and shared octopus, halibut cheeks, lobstah rolls, stone crab, whole lobster, raw oysters, raw clams and more. All of their desserts are made in house and they were all incredible. The price point is not for the faint of heart but well worth it all around. You should definitely give them a try for a night out especially for a special occasion. They are located in the Caesars forum shops right down on the right from the casino.

First time in Water Grill

By glenagrit |

First time in Water Grill in Vegas. Have been to them in LA and Dallas and this is the best of the 3. New location in Caesar’s Palace where Spago used to be. Huge restaurant with private dining room upstairs. Seafood was really great. Super large selection of oysters and raw seafood. Had a really great lunch there and our server did a great job. Friendly, not pushy and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Birthday dinner

By Stacey |

Dinner was delicious. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgable. The best scallops I've ever had!

We LOVED this place!

By Renee |

We LOVED this place! Stopped here our first night in Vegas and wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be our favorite restaurant during our trip. The service was wonderful all around and our waitress was fantastic. She gave us an overview of the menu and informed us of her favorites (which I personally love). The oysters were the best we had while in Vegas, the grilled octopus was great, the sushi was INCREDIBLE and the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was also very warm, inviting, and romantic. We really enjoyed ourselves here!

Friendly Service

By Kathy L |

We were seated near the bar area and had wonderful server who was knowledgeable about the preparation of the dishes and shared his recommendations with us. We enjoyed the warm bread and started with the beet salad as recommended. It was different from any beet salad I had tried; the various beet selections were under a large amount of beet greens. It was delicious. I ordered the fresh scallops, they were well seasoned. The other dinner has the swordfish steak was well cooked, but could have used a bit more seasoning. Next time we’d probably try the sea bass. No dessert.

Go- take your time and savor the excellent dishes and environment.

By AsiaTr0tter |

Great vibes, attentive and talented staff, relaxed feeling and… great food. We went for a birthday and enjoyed every minute. The clams were excellent, oysters Rockefeller were perhaps a bit small but prepared beautifully. We also enjoyed a grilled Bream and the clam chowder. The wait staff knows how to do it right at this place. Go- enjoy.

Fantastic food and excellent service

By David C |

We went to Water Grill for my birthday whilst in Las Vegas. The food surpassed all expectations - we had fresh lobster, swordfish, crab rolls, octopus, Peruvian scallops, prawns and a few cocktails. The food was amazing. We went with the intention of eating a lot, but our waiter (Chad) made sure we didn’t order too much and made perfect recommendations. Every dish was perfect and we spent over two very relaxing (and filling hours) enjoying the food and venue. Highly recommended for fans of seafood.

Did not deliver on flavour

By z1bby |

Expectations were higher as per the reviews. Sadly this just did not deliver on the food front. It was pretty quiet, our server was very enthusiastic and helpful and that’s about where the excitement ended. I started with one of my favourite things of all time, clam chowder. So disappointed. It wasn’t hot enough for a start (I probably should have sent it back for a reheat) and it was just boring and lacking flavour. hubby had a lobster bisque, a teacup size ($19!,) he said it was ok. I followed up with fish tacos, again not much flavour and the taco I swear was gluten free judging by the texture and total lack of flavour. The fish bites were ok as was the slaw. Tough old octopus was hubby’s choice so all in all a disappointing meal. Not on the return list

Delicious seafood

By Hbmom |

We had delicious raw oysters here and so happy that we didn’t have to leave the hotel to go to the oyster bar. The Caesar salad was great. The fish tacos were good but pricey for two tiny tacos. The garlic crab noodles were too sweet and ridiculously small portion for $17. The boulevard was a refreshing lunch cocktail. It was very clean and pretty inside. Highly recommend.

Pleasant Surprise

By WOEY1943 |

Never heard of this restaurant and just wanted to see what replaced SPAGO in this space in The Forum Shops at Ceasars. Space is is nautical and somewhat upbeat. Service and food were excellent but the star of the meal was dessert. House made peanut butter Ice cream was fantastic. Creamy and like no other I've ever tasted. I'll be back.

Awesome in All Respects!!!

By TN |

Apple Maps ran us in circles with walking directions. We arrived 20 minutes late and staff could not have been more accommodating. Arrival put us behind for a show. Didn’t have to tell them, they asked. Service was exceptional, price for what you received was a great value. Quality was first class! Marvelous experience!

Love, Love, Love!!!!

By Michele L |

We stumbled across this restaurant walking around. Right place and the right time! Had lunch, shared a bottle of white wine and some appetizers. The decor is amazing. They had real menus not a bar code as some restaurants are doing now due to Covid. We shared the Tuna Poke, octopus (amazing!) and Garden roll. The bread/rolls they bring to the table first are the best make sure you have them, don’t pass up! Our server was Maureen and offered tremendous service, another server also helped on the spot as well with our wine decanter. I will make sure to stop in for a meal again when I visit! No doubt!

Great food and great service

By soonerj92 |

We had reservations so we were seated quickly. Our server was amazing. Very attentive and provided suggestions (which we took). We tried the scallops from the chilled seafood section. They were delicious and the presentation was appealing. I ordered the red king crab legs. Very sweet meat and cooked perfectly. The legs were heavy with meat and I was full afterwards. We never had to wait for drink refills and the timing between the appetizer and entree was perfect.

Vegas trip

By Bobber |

We chose this restaurant for the seafood. I have only been to 1 other restaurant that served king crab legs this size. The Freight House in La Crosse Wis. They were pricey but well worth the money. We also had the shrimp cocktail and they were equally an impressive size. The fish and chips were delicious but the crab cake was a disappointment. They were grainy, spicy, and had a ā€œplasticā€ taste. We would definitely recommend this as a seafood stop.

Excellent service and food

By hugmee |

Top level of service , with excellent food selection , lobster roll and oysters prepared very well , wine list also very good with options for half bottles

I'd probably come back

By Huck K |

I think the best way to enjoy this place is to come with a date/friend and do the 2nd of the three raw seafood tower (forget the name but it costs $105 at the time of this review) options. It's pretty solid value considering the quantity and quality of the shrimp, scallops, oysters, clams, mussels, crab and lobster. The fish and chips are excellent too but a bigger portion of the delicious cod would go a long way. Service was slow and had to ask for too many things. Overall, I'd probably come back.

Goes like this

By Malta B |

We spent a lot of money and were disappointed. The first wine too sweet, the Shrimp Louis Salad not turned on and put together unlovingly. The portions small and expensive. Good was the warm bread in advance. The water tasted extremely of chlorine / toilet. Inside the mall you sit very well.

A gem!

By Cassandra B |

Not sure why this place is under appreciated but food, ambience and service was great! Very fresh seafood prepared imaginatively.

Interesting decor & great service

By stacymhart |

We picked the Water Grill for it’s fresh seafood choices. Our appetizer was a dozen oyster sampler. The habanero lime dip was excellent with the oysters. Asiago bread was also excellent. Entree of King Crab Legs with Broccolini on the side was excellent. The Caesar salad was very disappointing with romaine that was not quite crisp & fresh and a very bitter flavored Treviso added to it. I should have googled that before ordering it (shame on me). Dessert was a cookie/brownie with homemade ice cream that was delicious. Our waiter Jeff was great!

Wonderful fresh seafood in the Desert!

By Donald H |

Enjoyed a great lunch today at the Water Grill in Caesars Forum. Located in the space where Spago used to be. This chain has done a beautiful job decorating the restaurant. If nothing else., we would go back just to sit at the Oyster Bar! At our booth, we could enjoy both the interior of the restaurant and also watch the crowds walk by the patio seating. We started with a dozen freshly schucked Kumamoto Oysters served with Domaine Carneros Sparkling Rose. Our second courses were deliciously fresh Ahi Poke with Wonton skins and a light, creamy Clam Chowder. Our main courses were SautĆ©ed Sea Bass and steamed PEI Mussels ( cooked perfectly); both accompanied with Patz and Hall Chardonnay. Our server, Michael, was both professional and charming. The restaurant manager (didn’t get his name) was a wonderful working manager, making sure all guests were taken care of in a timely manner. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are having lunch, dinner or just iced seafood at the bar! Thank you Water Grill staff!

Excellent service and food

By Jay |

Arrived a little earlier than my reservation, but was seated promptly. The food and drinks were excellent. Ordered the steamed lobster and was very pleased that they checked the shell for me. Waitress was fantastic and recommended a great mixed drink called ā€œThe Boulevardā€. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely return when I come back to Vegas.

Very nice place for sea food on The Strip

By orcotruck59 |

Very nice place for sea food in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. Although they do have steaks, fresh fish and shell fish are their specialities. My wife and I both had the swordfish, me with a side of mashed potatoes and she with a side of Brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. They also have a huge wine list to pair perfectly with your dish. If you go, ask for Mr. Lewis Williams, he was our server and took great care in explaining the menu choices and how they were prepared. He was very personable, and easy to talk to, excellent at his work! As far as the price, it’s not cheap, but it is less than a lot of places nearby and I’d say worth the price. Nothing is cheap in Vegas anymore!

Not Impressed

By Lesley R |

Meal was average, found atmosphere to be very dark and music was a bit loud. But they had great Lemon Drop Martinis!

Wonderful fresh seafood!!

By Donald H |

A great lunch in a near empty restaurant. We so feel for restaurants today as the pandemic continues to affect businesses. Our lunch at Water Grill was terrific. First, they are following all procedures to make everyone feel safe. Our server, Lindsay, was both professional and charming. Our meal included freshly shucked Kumamoto Oysters, NE Clam Chowder, Roasted Beet and Arugula Salad, Seared Rare Big Eye Tuna and King Crab California Roll. The wines with our lunch were also wonderful. This is a great seafood restaurant and worthy of five stars in every aspect! We look forward to our next visit!

Great Seafood

Food came to the table hot and fresh at the right temperature, server was attentive, delicious options.

Don’t do it too many other options

By M G |

Don’t waste your time - waited for a table and was seated after 25 minutes - sat for 20 no one ever acknowledged us or even filled a water glass - walked across the hall to The Palms seated and served by an amazing server quickly - I’ve eaten at The Palms in NYC and food is delightful

Celebratory Dinner

By Retired Couple |

Busy and noisy after finding one's way through Cesar's Palace maze but that's to be expected in Vegas.

Anniversary and 70th birthday

Fabulous seafood menu and superior service. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Our food was excellent and very tasty.

We like this place

By rigonda |

We like this place so much so we had a dinner at his place two nights on the row. Recommending, and will visit again on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Fabulous

By CB2401 |

Booked a reservation kind of last minute to celebrate my wife's birthday and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The location is good and we had plenty of time to kill in the casino and shopping before dinner. We were seated right on time of our reservation, truthfully, 2 minutes early. We were greeted promptly by our waiter and a sommelier about wine selections. Drinks came in good time and bread was phenomenal! Asked for an appetizer that wasn't really listed on the appetizer menu and waiter understood and took care of it and delivered one of the best shrimp cocktails I have ever had! The shrimp were so fresh, chilled perfectly and the cocktail sauce was fantastic. As for dinner, both our dinners were amazing and perfectly cooked. Next time in Vegas, we will for sure be back! Our waiter was absolutely amazing and hustled around to other tables and ours. He even took the time to create a little birthday treat for my wife that lined up with food allergies. Jeffrey was amazing and they should do anything and everything to keep him there. I may even request him on our next reservation! When the bill came, I expected a lot more. It was completely reasonable and well below what I expected. After getting burned at another high end location the previous night, Water Grill made up for it in the best possible way!!

Not great

By Gmovin |

$300 dinner for two people ($65 was wine) The service was great! The sushi was good. The steak was overcooked and way over-salted. Caesar salad was not good. Bread was over salted. Soft shelled crab could not be chewed completely. It was my first time to eat it so maybe that’s the way it supposed to be. But, I did not care for it.

Fantastic seafood dinner

By RPMCanes |

I came in here with some pretty high expectations. I had dined at the Water Grill in Los Angeles, which was absolutely spectacular. This one lived up to all of those expectations and more. The menu is very extensive, with a very wide selection of oysters in particular. The King crab legs were fresh and very tasty, as if they were in season already. The staff was very attentive, courteous, and accommodating. I will definitely return.

Good Service, Great food, Reasonable prices

By Mark329 |

We had visited Water Grill several years ago in Santa Monica and really enjoyed the restaurant. I am pleased to say we equally enjoyed the restaurant in the Forum shops in Las Vegas. Booking was easy and we were seated promptly with a pleasant table near the water tanks for the fresh Crab and Lobster. Compared to the majority of good restaurants in Las Vegas I thought this restaurant was very reasonable priced with good service and nice seafood. The Platter with Clams, Oysters , Prawn, Scallops & Mussels was especially good. Because the majority of items on this menu are seafood related the turnover ensures they are always fresh . Well worth a visit in Vegas.

Delicious!

By DruRN |

Holy moly! The food! Absolutely delicious! The service, wonderful! The ambiance, hip, warm and inviting. We made a reservation through Open Table and were seated timely. We enjoyed crab cakes, tender oysters Rockefeller, a delicious Caesar salad, with fresh anchovies, not canned, and Hamachi Nachos with yucca chips. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our dinners, too may to list, were unique and scrumptious. Dessert was bread pudding. The champagne was ice cold and the coffee, steaming hot. It was the perfect way to begin our Vegas vacation. Don’t hesitate, this restaurant has it together!

Perfect fish restaurant

By AnBerni |

We were there with business partners and this was an amazing evening. We got perfectly cooked and very tasty fish dishes - amazing. The service was also good and the restaurant was a nice place to meet people.

Great light lunch

By Louis M |

We had a light lunch here. The traditional New England Lobster Roll with French fries was a little unusual in that the roll was a small loaf of bread rather than a hot dog roll, but there was plenty of lobster, and the whole thing was delicious. The Clam Chowder with applewood smoked bacon was superb, probably the best ever.

Extremely Loud Music

By VioletG716 |

We had reservations for 6 and were seated promptly. The noise was so loud it was like a rock concert. We asked that the music be turned down but was told that there was only 1 speaker and wasn’t possible. The waitress was good, the food was just ok. Atmosphere not good since it was difficult to have a conversation.

GO HERE!!!

By taxcpa |

The service was five star, the food was five star, and the ambience was perfect. Such an amazing dining experience, I can't recommend enough. The waiter gave us recommendations when I asked, and when I chose one particular dish, he told me I really should try something else that was similar. It wasn't something I would normally order, but honored his recommendation, and I will say it was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had, the combination of flavors and the excellent execution would rival any celebrity chef restaurant in Vegas. The sides were incredible as well. The service was fantastic - they refilled our water every time we took a sip, the staff that brought out our food could have passed for five star waiters with the way they provided service, and when we apologized to our waiter for lingering so long on a Saturday night, he told us no problem, the service doesn't end until you leave the table. One of the best dining experiences I've ever head, in or outside of Vegas.

Tasty seafood on the strip

By Lungfruit |

I spent an enjoyable weekday lunch sitting at the bar. The VooDoo Ranger IPA was hitting the spot. The bartender was attentive and pleasant. Hardly anyone in the joint so it was quiet and peaceful. Started off with the Barent sea crab bites. A generous portion. Ask for the horseradish and a cocktail sauce. Pretty darn good. The lobster roll was a little light on the lobster but heavy on the roll. Never you mind tho, it was a nice afternoon to spend upwards of $100 on lunch. I’ll be back!

Lobster Roll

By Trevor S |

The waiter was very knowledgeable, and helped us decide on dishes and then what drinks to best pair them with. The clam soup was amazing and the lobster roll paired with a hazy IPA really hit the spot. The menu was impressive enough it warrants repeat visits

Loved the Food & Great Service

By Marianne |

My cousin Karen lives in Vegas and met me for lunch. I chose Water Grill at the Forum Shops at Caesars. We started with the crabcake appetizer to share. It was moist and delicious and had a nice aioli, too. The bread service was yummy sourdough dinner rolls with a salted butter. The rolls were good but a little too dense. For lunch, I had the bluefin toro tartare. It was a hands-on experience. I made little rolls with the seaweed squares topped with a small amount of sticky rice and the tuna. I don’t even think I used it third of the rice on the plate. There was no way I could fill those little seaweed squares with that much rice. It was very tasty, though. Our server Shawn asked if we were celebrating anything and I told her that Karen just got engaged. The rock was blinding! So when we were finished with our lunch, she brought out a warm cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. The cookie was actually three in one, chocolate, chocolate chip and oatmeal. It was pretty yummy but we hardly made a dent in it because it was pretty decadent.

Casual dining but good food

By MissyKelly |

Located in Caesars Palace away from casino floor which means you can enjoy a meal without a side of secondhand smoke. Full bar, private dining options, and tableside service. Highly recommend making reservations. Try the sushi, scallops, and bread pudding.

Great lunch

By Anne D |

Santiago was awesome and recommended some amazing options and kept our wine glass full. The little neck clams were awesome.

A wonderful experience

The service was excellent . The Clam Chowder was the best . Everyone went above and beyond . My girlfriend and I will be back next time we are in Las Vegas .

A nice break from the chaos of Vegas

By Kari-LynnH |

Stopped in for afternoon appies. Great service and very clean restaurant with a fun vibe. A relaxing break from the chaos of Caesars palace and Vegas. The scallops were great and worth mentioning. They also brought an entire carafe of coffee in a French press to the table which I thought was a nice touch.

Classy Casual

By Timmy014 |

Laid back atmosphere in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s. Food was outstanding. Terrific selection of sushi, raw bar and seafood entrees. If you live seafood your love this place.

Delicious romantic dinner with hubby

By Diane Z |

The meal was delicious - the prawns were so flavorful. So many seafood choices. Staff was super nice and attentive. We tried sushi for the first time - as our appetizer - the staff explained how to eat it and our waiter was not condescending. We were allowed to walk back to the live tanks - near the kitchen - nice atmosphere.

Unimpressed!

By Michael H |

UNIMPRESSED! I was looking forward to a topnotch meal on my recent trip to Vegas. After all, the website designer did a very impressive job! Well, what you see and what you get are quite different. As I arrived to the Water Grill I first visited the bar for a margarita, only to find they don't carry Cointreau. Strange - for a top notch restaurant. I asked what the well tequila is, wanting to know if it was 100% blue agave. It was but I didn't recognize the brand. I decided to give it a try in my margarita since at least it was !00% blue agave. I must say, I've had "cheaper" tequila that was 100% blue agave and still drinkable but this one I immmediately spit out - HORRID! The bartender replaced it with a better tequila, but still, not close to a good margarita - disappointing. Off to dinner with my drink in hand. I decided to try the cioppino. I'm a huge fan of cioppino and have never had a bad dish. Well, apparently it's time. My cioppino arrived luke warm, not piping hot. I immediately sent it back to be reheated and told the waitress to relay to the chef my comment of "WTH!?". The dish returned - hot this time. I still was not impressed with this version of cioppino. an inordinate amount of rubbery calamari rings were the main attraction, the shrimp were not cleaned of even it's legs, I do believe that was unnecessary and a first. The fish chunks were overcooked and very dry. As for the taste of the soup itself, mediocre at best. Back to the drawing board, Water Grill. Time to put as much effort into your dishes as you did your website. I won't be back.

Great service, delicious food

By MB M |

Loved it! I went here for my birthday dinner before a show - it's absolutely a great place to have a meal in Vegas. We got a table near the kitchen which is a good spot if you want in on the action. When someone buys a king crab, the staff takes it out and lets the person hold it. While the food was impeccable, the staff was really the highlight. They take the training of their wait-staff seriously and they are truly experts on the menu and can give not only clear recommendations but even describe the different flavors of all the fish and oysters. I had the black cod and it was probably one of the best fish meals I've ever had - would absolutely recommend it!

Private Dinner

By Larry A |

100 words will not be enough for my wife and I to compliment Krystal, and all the staff including our servers Jennifer and David. The party was in the Board Room ( Caesar) and it was to celebrate our sons upcoming marriage and Rehearsal dinner. The food was superb, uber fresh and plated beautifully. We started off with fresh oysters and jumbo shrimp from the raw bar, followed by a roasted beet salad or mixed greens. For the main course we had the king salmon, prime n.y. strip steak and 8 oz filet mignon. also mashed potatoes and grilled broccolini. The service was beyond top notch. They couldn't have treated us better. My wife and I thank you.

Absolutely delicious!

By Yuffie Bunny |

Absolutely delicious! Our oysters and fish were so fresh and perfectly seasoned and paired with their sauces and the rest of the plate. We got the Alaskan black cod over soba noodles and the Chilean sea bass with butternut squash gnocchi for dinner and the bread pudding with sea salt ice cream for dessert. I rarely every polish off plates from start to finish, but it was worth every bite!

Seafood restaurant with Caesars Mall area recommend

By jtat |

Though I've stayed at Caesars Palace dozens of times in the past, this is my first visit ever to Water Grill back in March 2024 which was very enjoyable. Our server was efficient except for the one occasion when he came to ask us if we wanted to order an app, which he already taken an order ten minutes prior. The drinks ok, except for the virgin mojito which was sour. the clams dish app was great as was our main dish of whole lobster, filet fish and veg dish. would recommend this place to all.

An excellent choice!

By rdvmusic |

My wife and I selected the Water Grill for an early dinner prior to a 7:00 show at the Mirage. We made a good choice! The entire meal was wonderful and was made even better by our delightful server, Shawn. My wife started with the Garden Roll Sushi while I enjoyed the Oyster Sampler. Just for the record – all the Oysters were fresh and tasty, but the Laguna Bay was my favorite. For the mains I had the Swordfish, and my wife went with the Sea Scallops. Both dishes were excellent. The ambience in the restaurant is great, and I appreciate the care they took to select a table that worked perfectly for my hearing condition. We will return to the Water Grill the next time we are in Las Vegas!

Great location, customer service and excellent food!

By dmas6 |

Loved our visit to the Water Grill with the exceptional service by Torrey. She was so pleasant, knowledgeable and interested in our experience being a memorable one. I enjoyed her humor as well as her recommendations. The Sea Bass was right on!!! Now for the folks with a sweet tooth...the Maple Cheesecake was sooo good! We shared it as a group and it was a perfect way to end the meeting. I would make sure you also say hello to Kristal Evans as she runs the show at Water Grill. Enjoy my friends.

A great place to eat

By TheFoodMen |

This place was great. We had steak, chicken and seafood. Everyone loved the food and service. Would definitely go back.

Outstanding food and service

By psetna |

We came upon this cute restaurant when walking around the mall at Caesars Palace. We absolutely all loved whatever we ordered. Cocktails were amazing and everything g we ordered was yum. The salads, the clam chowder, lobster rolls, grilled octopus…. Just to name a few.

A Gem in Las Vegas

By Pedersonboysmom |

I tried the Chilean Sea Bass as my entree that came from the Antarctic. It was an all around 10!!!!! They had small pieces of squash around it that blended the dish together with perfect presentation/palette. Amazing! For my side dish I had the kale with a yogurt sauce and pine nuts. Again it was the BEST. They make their own bread there and it is given to you complimentary. They have fresh fish flown in from all over! It is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The night before this meal we came here just for clam chowder soup! Amazing. They have every detail down. Nice location right outside Caesers Casino in the Forum Shops.

Dinner After Traveling

By Tom F |

The restaurant is conveniently located in Caesar Palace forum. Getting seated, it was pretty simple. We ended up sitting at the bar and watching the end of a playoff baseball game and some Monday night football. Wait staff was excellent and the oysters were tasty. They had some interesting options on the garnishes for the oysters. The seafood entrƩes were wonderful. Appetizer, we got the tuna poke. Who was delicious.

Nope

By Tuttorego! |

Ok it was Saturday night at Ceaser Palace but what a mess! Okay, leaving aside the noise, the place is very well presented, even if the waiter struggles to keep up with everyone and the owner doesn't even say hello, but chittesen... having said that, it's expensive for dishes with decent fish. Pretty interesting oysters, medium raw…. In short, even if not in Italy you would have already closed long ago

Average

By Ron S |

Very average restaurant. The menu looks amazing but the food definitely underwhelms. Overcooked octopus and fries disappoint. The lobster roll was good. Deginitely nothing to be too excited about. I won't be back.

RUDE STAFF

By DqsrqzM |

We did not eat here because of how RUDE the staff are. We were waiting for a table (the restaurant was basically empty) and my mother, who has an illness fainted, I turned to one of the staff members to ask for help and he said to hold because he was on the phone. On of the hostess was helpful enough that she brought a chair for us to sit her, and after that a man came, I’m guessing the manager, and asked if we where staying on property because they couldn’t have people sleeping, she had fainted not decided to take a nap in the middle of a restaurant. He said he was trying to help, we’ve been dealing with this illness for years and hace traveled all over the world and had never had encountered such horrible attitude.

Absolutely fantastic!

By Brad S |

Absolutely fantastic seafood. We had a 2 pound Dungeness crab (plucked right from the tank) and it was amazing. Added butternut squash and it was a perfect dish. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return again.

A shop that seems like it's time for another try!

By KAZUYUKI Y |

Crabs, oysters, meat whatever you eat is great! The staff at the shop also taught me with great care and no English! Recommended for those who want to eat both meat and seafood!

Fantastic Dinner

By Vida Kinda |

This is a lovely open restaurant located in the Caesar's Palace. We were seated in a large, comfortable booth adjacent to the bar. Our server was Chad and we just loved the way he explained the menu, describing the many dishes. My partner and I shared the Oysters Rockefeller. Six oysters, which were very good but perhaps a bit heavy on bread crumbs, nonetheless delicious! We were being a bit indulgent and ordered the wedge salad and were in love with the fact that the salad was a half of the head of lettuce! It was so wonderful with the blue cheese dressing and delicious lardons. We shared the Chilean sea bass swimming in a sage and brown butter sauce accompanied with luscious, tender butternut squash gnocchi. So amazing. We had a wonderful dinner and were so glad we chose Water Grill. Chad really made the experience fantastic.

Birthday Dinner

By Amy Harmon |

Great birthday dinner with friends. The seafood is so fresh & delicious. U can pick your own live fish & have them prepare it however u want. Very nice ambiance. Cory the server was very knowledgeable & make the dinner experience very extremely enjoyable.

Simply Amazing...

By David G |

On a recommendation from a friend we decided to have a meal here. A friend of mine has good friend that is a server here...ask for Mike, you wont be disappointed. Despite a small mishap with our reservation the moment we walked in the door this was am amazing experience. Again Mike was our server who took phenomenal care of us. Both my wife and I had the most delicious NE clam chowder, with clams still in the shell, the soup was not like I'm used to, it was not thick, however the flavor was outstanding. We also had the calamari which was great as well. My wife had a great lobster roll and I had shrimp scampi, large and quite tasty shrimp. All in all an amazing meal, outstanding service all served up in a upscale room. Around $140.00 without tip and two adult beverages. Highly recommended...

Vegas' best kept secret

By Hugo C |

Excellent food with a very reasonable price. The service is very good, easy to get to and although we did not make a reservation we entered quickly. We order drinks and three super recommended dishes: fried calamari, fish & chips and grilled octopus. Delicious! One of Vegas' best kept secrets.

Excellent food.

By Timothy F |

Went to dinner Monday night 2/10/2020. It was recommended by a co-worker. I was there with a one of my vendors that I had not seen in about a year. The Grilled Octopus appetizer was very good. They do not offer a surf & turf so we did our own. We split a Fillet Mignon and Sea scallops. Both were excellent. We also had the Iceland cod fish & chips. Fantastic. It's pricey, but so are all good restaurants in Vegas. Go and enjoy!

One of the few places to get fresh Dover Sole

By Eddie's Insider Travel Reviews |

Great service, phenomenal food, and overall great experience! Had dinner with a friend visiting Vegas. Their Dover Sole and Grilled Lobster was phenomenal!

Excellent solo experience at the bar - great food, drinks and service.

By Sarah S |

I was looking for a newer spot on the Strip for a solo lunch and was delightfully surprised to find out Water Grill had a Vegas location - and great reviews via Yelp! Located in the Forum Shops (so no, sadly we can't earn Caesars Rewards' points), it's one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever visited - gorgeous copper, lush fabrics, a seafaring theme, complete with live tanks. I sat at the bar and had a great experience. The bartender (a woman) was absolutely fabulous - great conversationalist, energetic and eager to please, and a FABULOUS mixologist. I had a holiday-themed drink - the Poinsettia - and it was divine. If I didn't have an appointment at a nearby spa, I would have had another round! Food wise, I had a lobster roll. The roll was delicious, big chunks of lob, and the fries were divine. Thick cut and just plain tasty. It was hard to decide on an entree - the menu is overwhelming, but if you love seafood, you'll walk out out of Water Grill spending a boat load (no pun intended) on the fresh seafood offerings. Water Grill has been added on my "must" list in Las Vegas.

Best So Far

By averyfamily3 |

Walking in there is so much to look at. Hubby and I were here for our 25th anniversary ( day after ) lunch/dinner. We started with the Clams with Chorizo appetizer. My hubby had the White Mexican Sea Bass with Ratatouille and I had the Shrimp Louie Salad. We sat in a comfortable green booth away from the bar. Edgar was fabulous!

Worth every penny!

By Jon L |

Second time here. Food and service are top-notch! We will plan to visit Water Grill every time we go to The Forum Shops and Caesars.

Look no further for amazing oysters!

By mmhaber |

My husband and I are suckers for good oysters and boy did we stumble on a gem! We had oysters, yellowtail nachos, beet salad, the dinner scallops, and kale and everything was amazing! The bread was to die for and our server was GREAT! Not to mention the cocktails! Can't wait to go back!

Very beautiful and casual clean fresh food.

By Elizabeth S |

We had clams & sausage app. & crab cake. They were fresh in taste and priced little high. But wild shrimp and pasta good & clam chowder as well. Very fresh in taste. VERY CALIFORNIA restaurant. Key lime delicious !! Drinks good. Staff couldn't have been kinder. Expensive lunch 200.00. Would I go again ?? No going to other restaurants. But Very nice.

Exceptional food and service

By James D |

We went as a family and our server was so attentive and knowledgeable. Great recommendations for food and we ordered a couple of the suggested meals without disappointment. I had the sea bass and my wife had the soft shell crab curry which was beautiful. The portions are generous and dishes tasty. For dessert we shared was the key lime pie which was suggested and just divine. The cocktails and wine were also delicious and we told our server what we liked and she was spot on in her recommendations. Christian was fabulous and great with our girls as well as us. Five star dining at its best.

Slow service.

By 57russellb |

We spent almost 3 hours here. It took over two hours to get our food. Not once did the waiter or manager stop by to offer any explanation. Other tables around us got their food more promptly. Food was average, nothing special.

This place is phenomenal

By motomel125 |

I absolutely enjoyed my dining here. It was SO darn good and the ambiance as well as decor is perfectly suited for such a place. The food was beyond delicious, and we ordered quite a few items, and our craft cocktails were equally as yummy leaving us to want to try more! I will definitely come back and visit again in the future and hope that it is much sooner than later!

An amazing seafood gem on the strip

By Tegreman |

This was a kast minute reservation that turned out amazing. Our waiter, Ashton, was the absolute best...friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive with great energy. The sommelier brought over a complimentary glass of wine for us..then there was the food, I had the Chilean seabass and my wife had the lobster roll. Absolutely exquisitely prepared, on par with the best seafood restaurants I've been to. This is a definite must do if you are on the strip.

Our favourite dinner in Vegas!

By Rubber_Duckie89 |

We booked for dinner here, that was good as it looked full and popular. We had the clam chowder, fish stew, whole sea bream and mahi mahi. They were all delicious, the best tasting fresh seafood. They also made good cocktails and the service was excellent. My sister got a mini cake for her birthday and sang to!

Best Food on 2 Week Trip

By 5-Taking-A-Break |

This restaurant is very convenient in the Forum Shops. We came at a friend's recommendation and the food was amazing. We were on a 2 week trip and this was the best place we ate at. I had the scallops and can't tell you how good it was.

Excellent food

By adaiello92 |

Having never been to Las Vegas while visiting the shoppes at Cesars we happen to stumble upon this restaurant. We are very well traveled and love seafood so after seeing there menu we were excited to give it a try. The salmon was one of the best salmons I’ve ever had and the shrimp scampi was also one the best I’ve had too. The crab cake was okay but nothing special to be honest. The best part of the meal by far was the caramel bread pudding which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The prices of the dinners are a little overpriced but not as bad as other places in the area.

Outstanding

By mbrichter |

This is a seafood lover’s paradise. I’ve never seen so many different types of seafood kept in live tanks before being served. They had live King Crab, shrimp, lobster and another type of crab in tanks. Everything was fresh and delicious. On top of that the service was the best service I can ever remember receiving. Better than many more expensive and fancy restaurants.

Excellent

By traveler46466 |

Excellent. Wonderful ambience. Attentive service from will our server. Very good food. Great people watching at the forum shops.

Walk past the Ramsey Pub and go to Water

By Brian S |

In the Forum Shops close to Caesars entrance is one of the best seafood restaurants in the US; nice surprise in landlocked Vegas! The drinks are amazing! The staff id amazing! And the food tops it all off. The oysters are as good as any coastal location. The Fish & Chips make the Gordon Ramsey Pub a couple hundred yards away, irrelevant! Do yourself right, have a meal here!

Enjoyed Dinner at the Raw Bar

By CharlieinTexas |

Wonderful dining experience at the raw bar, with immediate seating, and full dinner menu availability. Yes please. JJ, our primary server (see photo), was friendly, efficient, and a well-trained professional. Definitely added to the meal. Thanks JJ. A very accommodating female server (see photo), whose name I missed, was lovely and helpful. Delicious Oysters Rockefeller, served as a 1/2 dozen, were well seasoned, nice size, and served at a perfect temperature. We also had a dozen raw oysters, a sampler, that included 6 different oysters, 3 west coast and 3 east coast. Candidly, the west coast oysters were just okay, but the east coast oysters were very tasty. My ciopoino was memorable, lots of seafood, tasty broth, and the right amount of pepper-like spice, served with a nice small baguette. Side order of sourdough bread was a nice add. My wife enjoyed her Caesar salad. Key lime pie and espresso topped off a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Nice venue. Three cheers to our servers and the chef!

Maybe it was an "off night"?

By Dominique C |

We could have named this review "Great food when you eventually get it" but the selected title may be more descriptive of our dining experience... 1. We arrived right on time for our 6:15PM reservation and were seated within a minute; great start. 2. Our waitress arrived promptly to greet us, bring menus, water, and within a few minutes we were ready to order an appetizer (calamari) and some wine (Willakenzie Estate Pinot Gris); great continuation. 3. She left with the order and returned with the wine and the assurance that the appetizer was on its way; wonderful. 4. We ordered the rest of the meal. One (1) oyster sampler, one (1) mixed green salad, and then for the main courses one (1) order of black cod, and one (1) order of mussels garbanzo with a side of fries. No problem are we told, and we are now looking forward to a nice meal.... Fast forward twenty (20) minutes and there is nothing on the table save for empty glasses of Pinot Gris. No bread, no butter, nothing. BTW, this is far from being a busy night as there are plenty of empty seats in this nice setting. Then, a new person shows up with the oyster sampler and the side salad. When we inquire as to what happened to the calamari, there is a look of surprise, a quick apology, and the food returns to the kitchen. Fast forward five (5) minutes and the calamari arrives from another server, quickly followed by the original waitress who inquires how things are and BTW do we need more wine? We politely inform her that 1) somehow the calamari *may* have been forgotten but we are glad it showed up as the combination of sauces is rather good, and 2) we will redo a wine order with one (1) glass Pinot Gris and one (1) glass of Chardonnay, when the rest of the meal arrives. Fast forward about ten (10) minutes and yet-another waiter shows up with bread and butter to wish us a nice meal. By now we are getting confused however the oyster sampler eventually arrives along with the salad, and both get positive reviews in terms of how fresh the food looks but the wine order appears at the table another five (5) minutes after the the food and it's now two (2) glasses of each wine... The oyster sampler gets a 8.5/10 (at about $19.00 it's a good value but the Eastern side is a bit of a letdown compared to the Pacific side) and the salad gets a 6.0/10 as there is really nothing special about it; it's organic, it's fresh, but it really looks straight out of a bag as far as we know, and at $13.00 it's definitely not a good value. The main dishes show up another ten (10') after the table has been cleaned and the black cod gets a grade of 9.0/10 as it was delicious but a very small portion, while the mussels garbanzo and the side of fries receive an 5.0/10 since the mussels were great but the side of fries was missing... By then, we want the check ASAP as we have been sitting for quite a while and we want to make sure that we do not miss our show. The bill comes up to about $198.00 and after some soul-searching we throw-in a $32.00 tip and leave without a smile... As the title of this review states, maybe this was an "off night" as this restaurant has received quite a lot of good reviews. The food was quite good (but not exceptional), while the service and the organization was 'challenged' (to be polite). One thing that we noticed was our waitress never wrote any of the orders down, and this could explain some of the issues that we experienced. Conclusion: good food overall when you get it, but somewhat overpriced.Uneven service & organization, but they all seem like nice people. This being said, we do not expect to be back as there are other seafood options in Las Vegas.

Five Plus! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

By Rosie MT |

We happened upon this restaurant last year when we stayed at Caesars and it was some of the best food we have ever had. We just got back from another Vegas getaway and had to dine here again. The Filet Mignon was amazing and the Crab...oh the crab. My mouth literally just watered as I typed that. Try the lobster mac n cheese for a side. It is divine. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was great both times. We highly recommend Water Grill and we will return every time we go to Las Vegas!

Great Food, Exceptional Service in A Beautiful Setting

Fourteen of us had dinner on a Sunday evening at the Water Grill. The food was well prepared and fresh. Everything including the sides (especially the Brussels sprouts) were delicious. We were seated promptly, treated with wonderful, attentive service and had a great meal

Water Grill 3500 Las Vegas Blvd S Las Vegas, Nevada

By C J |

VERY POOR SERVICE. How hard is it to cook a steak medium rare like I ordered? They cooked it medium well and by the time the waitress came back to our table our party was almost done eating. Overpriced and overrated. Will never return.

Great food and service

Seafood in the desert - go figure!

By Virginia S |

Absolutely impressive assortment of fresh seafood - we had oysters rock, crab cakes, fish tacos, and the most incredible Caesar’s with white anchovies that melted in my mouth. New York Strip steak also perfectly done. Generous pour on the drinks - great atmosphere. Will return.

Great dinner in ceaser forum shopping area

By Mike H |

Excellent dining experience. Service was top notch, friendly, informative with great suggestions. Range of oysters were excellent. Side bread was warm and soft. Star was the Chilean sea bass with gnocchi. Fish was expertly cooked, one of the best we have had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Upscale Dining with a Casual Ambiance

By MooreVegasFood |

I really enjoyed eating here. The service was great and drinks were yummy too. I brought a Customer of mine here for an after work dinner Via reservations. I accidentally parked on the other side of the forum shoppes so I was closer to Joe’s seafood and had to walk through the mall to get there. However, once I arrived the experience was well worth it. I had a very great chocolate martini to start. I was not too impressed with the crabcake because I felt like it was a bit over fried and not as chunky or fresh as I typically like them to be. However, the Chilean Seabass was absolutely yummy and I recommend anyone reading this to get that. The calamari was OK but I also felt that it was a little heavily fry. I did really like the tuna poke. The table bread was also very yummy as well as the dessert that we order which was a bread pudding with sautĆ©ed caramel house made icecream which I would definitely order again. Overall, eating here was a good experience.

Anniversary Dinner

By jgoo1112 |

Was seated right away. They had decorated our table for our anniversary. Our server (Myann) took very good care of us. I had the oyster Rockefeller, while my wife had a Caesar salad. The one problem we had was the main courses came out before we were done with the appetizers. For main courses my wife got the shrimp scampi, good and I got the sea bass, did not like the gnocchi that came with the sea bass. Got a complimentary dessert, Another doggie bag. Myann and my wife talked about dogs. She has a great personality. Ask for Myann the best server we had on this trip.

Great Location and Restaurant

By Bubbs61 |

This is definately one of the newest and hottest restaurant in Vegas. Oysters, Lobster Octopus you name it they have it. Brittney T. was very knowledgeable about the menu made some great recommendations and was very professional. The Caramel Bread Pudding was an amazing end to the meal. One of the Managers that was from Poland ( sorry I didn't get his name) was good with helping all the servers in our section there was a Tech Convention and the place was very busy. A reservation is needed to get in.

Wonderful restaurant with only one minor issue

By Eric |

Our experience for the most part was wonderful. Our waiter was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The drinks we had were perfectly made I had the sea bass and it was superb. The only issue was with the filet of sole my wife had. We have had filet of soul many places around the world. We expected to receive both of the filets from the fish. Only one arrived and was small certainly not the 1.1 pounds we were charged for . This practice seemed a bit deceiving as the price is per pound. Other than this issue I would recommend this restaurant to others

First Saturday night back

By Kathi T |

First Saturday night back in The Strip after Covid. Awesome evening at Water Grill. It’s the former Spago... great ambiance, attentive wait staff and delicious sea food. Try the Trojan Roll... a beautiful presentation followed by a treat for your tongue.

YUM

By drpclarke |

The not so great: Ceasar salad is a bit too heavy on the anchovy taste. The great: Everything else is just yummy. My husband had the lobster and I had the sea bass, which I would have sold my child for. LIghtly crispy, and soooo tender and flaky on the inside. YUM YUM YUM. Service was great - we were never left wanting for anything.

Great seafood restaurant in forum shops

By stevek1042 |

Service: A++ Food: A++ Great restaurant located in Forum Shops at Cesar’s. We had a table in terrace area overlooking the shop area, so good for people watching. We had the calamari for the appetizer which was good. For dinner, we split the Filet Mignon and Wild Dungeons Crab-it was a great choice and plenty of food for two.

Best selection of seafood period.

By Senoreme |

Nestled in the Forum shops, this is a haven for fresh seafood from all over the Pacific ocean . Huge selection of oysters and shel fish. Salmon was delicious as well as swordfish and magi. Service was friendly but slow.

Water Grill Restaurant Is Dedicated to Creating Amazing Dining Experiences!!

By Shannon P |

Water Grill Restaurant located in the heart of Caesar’s Palace/Forums Shops is a quiet on the outside, charming yet bustling tasty business on the inside. Boasting a hearty menu chock full of many seafood choices, WaterGrill puts its personal tasty twist on her dishes. From the bread (no bread is not just bread) to the appetizers-calamari (more than plentiful and scrumptious), to the salads (fresh and crisp) to the main entrees - the scallops were so juicy and tender and scrumptious and the sea bass was well seasoned, quite delicious and cooked to perfection……everything was perfect. Our server Athena was personable and delightful which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I need to give the managerial staff, John in particular a big and special shout-out for honoring a special request during our dining experience with a show to follow. The team at Water Grill knows what they are doing and so do I when I tell you to make sure you make a reservation when visiting Las Vegas. You will thank me later.

Love this place !

By Nancy S |

One of our favorite restaurants in Vegas. If you're looking for seafood, this is definitely the place... our waiter 'Shad' was amazing, he provided excellent service, very kind and helpful. The food was exquisite, and the place was clean and nice as always.

Amazing experience

By Kyiana W |

One of the things I like to do on vacation, is try new restaurants that are specific to that city. Was not expecting this place to be such a crown jewel. The service was impeccable, Carlos was our server. Great recommendations for us to start with. We had the crabcake and were not disappointed. The remoulade sauce had a little kick that snuck up on you.. yummy. I went with the Chilean Sea Bass and felt a tear drop, when I first tasted it. Cooked to perfection. The roasted Brussel sprouts did not disappoint either. My sister had the king crab California roll and was pleasantly surprised by it. Overall, any seafood lover would be amiss to not dine here, at least once during their stay. You can taste that the seafood came straight from the water to your table. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Going down hill quickly.....

By paul p |

Unfortunately, one of our favorite restaurants is starting a very quick descent into mediocrity. Was there on Friday night, the restaurant was so cold, it was almost comical. Literally every woman I saw was either wearing her date's coat or was covering themselves with their arms for warmth. They are probably doing that to distract you from the food, which has gone down in quality and in portion. Wish I had another place to recommend, but I do not. As a Vegas local, I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in the entire dining scene in town. Wait staff doesn't care, food comes out when it comes out, quality is not half of what it should be and the prices are obscene.

What a great evening!… Because of Chad, as well as the food.

By RichardSBCA |

We had dinner reservations fairly early and it was not busy. THE MAIN REASON THAT THIS EVENING WAS SO VERY SPECIAL AND MEMORABLE WAS BECAUSE OF CHAD!!! CHAD!!!! is so warm, personable and professional that he just created the most wonderful evening ever! The wedge salad was an entire half of iceberg lettuce and the blue cheese sauce was delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful. ATTENTION GENERAL MANAGER AND CHEF: YOUR OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER WERE NOT. We were very excited about ordering this dish. They were a very poor excuse that did Not even resemble True Oysters Rockefeller and I would highly recommend the highly recommend the BRENNAN's cookbook in order to do proper Oysters Rockefeller. Luckily, CHAD made up for any mistakes in the kitchen! Will be back!.

Spectacular Dining Experience!!!

By Mark D |

Fantastic Restaurant!!! Service was stellar as was the food! Lots of good sea food options. The sea bass was outstanding! The key lime pie was fantastic! The waiter was awesome!!! Depending on your choice of food, this restaurant can be a little pricey but definitely the quality matches the prices!!!!!

FRESH KING CRAB!!!!

By doms1214 |

I was pleasantly surprised to hear the waitress say that t hey had fresh king crab here. I didn't believe her so she led back to the tank so I pick my catch of the day! The drinks were made very well, service was prompt and the food was fantastic. If your in vegas go here.

After having a poor experience at the Water Grill Las Vegas, we returned at the invitation of general manager Kristal Evans with a $100 gift card. The food and service were great. The atmosphere was also very nice. They definitely made up for our unhappiness the first time.

Amazing dinner!!!

By Elizabeth Connor |

My boyfriend and I stayed in Vegas for 5 days and out of all the restaurants we ate at during our stay this restaurant was by far the BEST! We would always walk around the Forum Shops at Caesars and something about this place always caught our eye. We made a reservation for 7pm but we showed up around 6ish cause we were already in the area and pretty hungry and we were sat right away. I can’t say enough about the staff here..they are all amazing!! So inviting and friendly. Our server Corey was perfect. He made great recommendations and was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the seafood is here! We ordered the octopus for our appetizer and OMG it was probably the best I’ve ever had. For our entrees I got the sea bass and my boyfriend got the salmon and we were completely blown away. We were way too stuffed for dessert but my boyfriend got an espresso and I got the French press coffee and even that was the best I’ve had. I can’t recommend this place enough if you are staying in Vegas..it’s a must try!!

Great food and atmosphere!!!

By sjcruiser36 |

Good food and atmosphere inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Reservations are mandated, along with limiting capacity seating at 25% due to COVID. The hostesses and waitstaff are very friendly. Water Grill has a raw bar with a good selection of fresh seafood and tanks with live seafood. We sat in a booth in front of the raw bar just at the edge of the outside dining patio. This was perfect for watching what was going on inside and outside. Our meal started with two types of bread served with fresh butter. For our meal, we chose the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was cooked to perfection and wasn't greasy!!! The calamari is served with harissa aioli and cilantro-mint sweet chili sauce for dipping. We preferred the cilantro-mint sweet chili sauce over the harissa aioli, but both were good. As our main entrees, we ordered the Farmed New Zealand King Salmon served medium rare with heirloom carrots (enough to classify as a side entree), vadouvan curry butter, and the chargrilled Prime New York Strip steak served medium. Both were well seasoned and cooked to perfection, or as ordered. The entrees are served Ć  la carte. For our sides we ordered grilled broccolini with Chinese sausage and garlic, Yukon Gold masked potatoes, and roasted butternut squash. The butternut squash and heirloom carrots both have a light curry, ginger, and nutmeg taste which complimented each one well. The meal was good and filling, and we'll be back.

Disappointed

By Traveler35254277756 |

Our table had 4 different dishes. The swordfish and mahi-mahi were ok but could have used more seasoning. One of the other orders was for shimp scampi and it was very bland with little flavor. The other was $75 a few onces of tasteless Dungeness crab. Very disappointed in an expensive bland meal. Went for a special meal but left disappointed.

VEGAS 2020

By AJDynamicDuo |

We had an early dinner at Water Grill after walking and window shopping at the Forum. While Vegas right now is a bit slow, the wait staff at Water Grill were exemplary. The restaurant is simply gorgeous. The cocktails were divine. We had seafood dishes and they were both perfection. I highly recommend taking in this lovely jewel at the Shoppes at the Forum. Enjoy!

We had a fantastic meal and the service was spotless

By Solci13 |

I knew it was good but every dish we had was Michelin star level. The Octopus was out of this world and we often have it in Spain and Greece. I was shocked that this was even better than all the ones I had in places were the product is sourced. Even the bread basket was sinful. We went on our first night in Vegas and was an exquisite meal. The waitress was also fantastic. We sat on the booth that is between the terrace and the bar. The only complains are it was a bit chilly and the receptionist was not very pleasant. She seemed annoyed that I was choosing where to sit despite that it was empty as it was pretty late. Everyone else was perfect.

Top Seafood Choice in Las Vegas

By TFKinPS |

Anniversary lunch that went on for 3 hours - so many selections of hard to find seafood, oysters, and incredible specials - including the in-season Maryland soft shell crab. Must have 12 varieties of oysters from West and East. Service was spot on, attentive with good recommendations on different courses. Exceptional management was evident as the place ran like a well oiled machine. Now in our top 5 in Las Vegas. Thank you Kristal, Chef, and team for an outstanding experience. Back soon.

Great splurge dinner

By Marne |

Took my son and his girlfriend here our first night in vegas(this time). Menu is really huge, something for everyone. Cocktails were super yummy and interesting, and every item we ordered was DELISH! Lots of vegetarian options. Really nice decor, and although a bit pricey, it was worth the $$.

No but very expensive

By pascamel |

Good restaurant which aims to be chic and which therefore charges very exaggerated prices. The dishes are pretty good The service is ok Not bad in the end

After dinner drink? Denied!

By Tom M |

Very nice atmosphere. Food was on par with a place of this caliber. Excellent, no complaints at all. I loved the nautical theme - make sure to check out the second floor. However the service was not great. Overall the waiter and servers made us feel as if we were a burden. When we asked for more and more water (it is the desert after all !) we got a "comment" about it. When one a steak came out very well-done not medium as ordered, the chef himself came out and asked that we inspect the steak for him. Not to ensure we were happy, it was clear he just didn't want any further issues. Furthermore, the chef (or staff) should not disturb our dinner. This was a business meal. The last part was the worst. After a having big meal (and likely a gigantic check, for a major electronics & entertainment multinational conglomerate) we ordered a very expensive scotch from the bar. One drink. Well, we were told the bar was closed. It must have only been closed less than 30 minutes as people were still seated around the bar and bartender was in the area. I could see the bottles right in front of us. We were rejected an after dinner drink! It mustn't have been later than 11pm on a Sunday. Such a dumb thing to do. I didn't see the final bill, but I can imagine the lost tip would have been worth someone spending 5 minutes to pour a drink!

Great seafood spot!

By LKR |

Excellent seafood with a lovely atmosphere— you can pay a lot more for great seafood in Vegas. We started with the oyster sampler- it was fresh & the three sauces were delicious. The Chilean sea bass was a giant piece of white fish that just melted in your mouth with flavor. The spicy Ahi tuna was really good as well. The bread pudding is seriously delicious. Located in the Forum Shops area of Caesar’s Palace. If you like people watching sit in front, if not ask to sit further into the restaurant— it’s very pretty and much more private. Very attentive staff & host stand.

Nice meal to celebrate birthday

By SoHappyTogetherTN |

Chose this for my birthday dinner (we were also celebrating our anniversary.) We sat in the patio area so we could enjoy the beautiful Forum mall. There was a cute card on the table signed by the staff. I ordered the whole lobster, which was delicious! Should not have added a side of Brussels sprouts because I ended up not eating them — wanted to focus on the lobster. My husband got the fish and chips. He said they were ok but he wished he’d ordered the burger instead. Service was outstanding. I did not receive a complimentary birthday dessert, which I’d expected after reading other reviews. It was ok because I got a slice of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory (very close by) but mentioning in case others were anticipating it.

Good food, poor service

By BRB92679 |

The food was good but the service was very poor. We arrived and were seated promptly, and after a few minutes our server came over. We were in a slight hurry so we ordered drinks, salad and entrƩes at the same time. Our salad arrived about one minute after ordering, but we waited another 15 minutes or so before our drinks showed up. I had a glass of wine and my wife had a vodka with water. During the wait for the drinks our server never checked in. After the drinks arrived, we waited another 25 minutes for the entrees. Again, no check in by the server during the wait; unfortunate because we may have ordered another round. When our entrƩes were finally being delivered the server mentioned it was a "busy night", which it wasn't. No further contact with the server until we finished, waiting another 10 minutes or so with the used dishes piled on our table before she came back by. I asked for the check and tipped appropriately. As I noted the food was good once we got it, but we won't go back to this Water Grill; too many other good options in Las Vegas.

Eat EVERYTHING! It’s all good!

By Jazzgal67 |

There is absolutely no question that I am a foodie. Despite that, there are things I have never tried and this place inspired me to try them all! The waiter made every suggestion for our meal and not one thing was a miss. Absolutely delicious. The ambience in the place is wonderful and dare I say, after trying for the first time in my life, bread pudding is now my favorite thing to eat! Oh my goodness, you must eat at this place!

Dinner reservations

By 14485j |

I’ve been there in years past was one of our favorite upscale restaurants. Upscale restaurants. But this time was disappointing. The service was slow, our waitress was great but bar service was slow. My swordfish was bland and over cooked. My husbands filet mignon was very well prepared and tasty. Ordered cocktails and they were delivered right before dinner. We waited over 20 minutes for them. The warm bread as a starter was very delicious. Overall disappointing experience.

Fresh fish and atmosphere

By MathosJ |

We really enjoyed the outside feel, white lights, casual atmosphere. Food was delicious, oysters and Salmon sushi. Fresh bread and sea salted butter. Nice staff.

Delicious food, friendly service, and special anniversary celebration

I loved the Chilean sea bass! Chad was our server and was very friendly and helpful. Water Grill in LV helped make our anniversary celebration special.

Seafood, Fresh seafood!

By Kathy W |

An amazing dinner catching up with old friends! We started with the octopus appetizer- yum! The men had the sea bass and cleaned their plates. I ordered scallops and asked for medium rare - which they happily accommodated and they nailed it! Topped off with a lovely AlbariƱo and our meal was perfection!

Great food and great service.

By Evelyn C |

Great service and great food. I didn’t catch the name of our waiter, but he made a couple of really good recommendations. We ordered several appetizers and entrees to share, and were stuffed after. Standouts include the spiny lobster (which our waiter recommended) and the sea bass. The shrimp scampi was one of the best we’ve had. I’d go back for sure.

Oysters 🦪

By Wanderlust |

While walking through The Forum Shops at Caesar’s, we saw the oyster bar and decided to stop in. I also liked the decor, so that helped make our decision. The oysters were fresh and they offered a nice variety. It wasn’t on my list of places to try but I’m glad I found this gem. The service was quick. The wait staff were friendly. Any seafood lover would enjoy WG.

Very Fresh and Very Good service at 5pm!

By Lisa J |

The service was really good. Different servers bring out your apps, entrees, etc so the food was hot and very fresh. This is so lacking elsewhere! The dinner rolls were delicious with soft butter. Our calamari was above average. We 3 had the scampi - also very tasty with our shared iceberg salad (not overdressed!) My sisters and I eat out at lots of nice and well reviewed restaurants. WaterGrill did not disappoint!

Very professional staff and great food

Very professional staff and good food. Clean with nice atmosphere. Catered to my pregnant wife and her dietary needs.

Good Option at the Forum

By MDDdolphin |

Water Grill is located in the Forum Shops, connected to Caesar’s Palace. It’s a fairly big place and wasn’t very busy on a Tuesday night, so a little hard to tell how loud it may get when operating at capacity. Seats near the front afford a nice view of the traffic in the mall with the statuary and changing ceilings. Our server Lindsey was very nice and helpful and appropriately attentive. As expected, the menu is heavily slanted to seafood, but several meat entrees are offered. It’s one of the more extensive menus we’ve seen. We started with Spanish octopus that was tender and tasty and hamachi nachos (easily shareable) with a generous helping of fish. Appetizers averaged $22. Mains were in the $40-55 range with many options. We opted for halibut in a lemon veloute with leeks and fingerling potatoes. Not bad, but a little overcooked for our taste. The scallops and soft shelled crab were very good. The biggest surprise here was the wine list. While most Strip restaurants are double to triple retail price, we saw many choices at much less markup.

A must try!

By twintp |

This is a cozy, warm, inviting space even though it is a large restaurant. Service was super friendly and prompt. Started with a dozen oysters that came with four different sauces- all very yummy and unique. Then we had a king salmon roll that was superb. They brought fresh baked bread to the table with salted butter that was so good. For a wonderful specialty, try the smoked hamachi nachos- like. nothing you’ve had before and so great! So much more to try at this place, it deserves future visits!

What an amazing experience

By Melissa B |

This experience was beyond awesome! We wanted a small lunch and just decided to stop in here for convenience; and it was amazing!! We each had a salad and split the crab cake; it was delicious tender crab with a light crust. The celery remoulade was so fresh and delicious. My wedge salad was half a head of lettuce!! The house bread was an amazing sourdough with salted butter- YUM!! The house mule was spicy and refreshing. The overall experience brought calm and joy to us. Highly highly recommend!! Milind provided attentive and friendly service. Quite the dining experience!

Don't Go For Snow Crab

By Richard M |

Food was good to subpar. Started with the Trojen roll. It was tasty. Unfortunately the had no sake on an extensive wine list. W the Oyster Rockefeller were also good, but a little to cheesy for my taste. The Ceaser salad was mediocre with a bland dressing, worst was the stone crab. It was still frozen in parts n at the prices I thought they would serve fresh. That is my bad for not asking. They also did not have the proper tools for eating it and sadly had done a poor job of cracking it. Snow crab is hard to crack. The sea bass was good, a tad dry. The butter nut squash gnocchi like additions were doughy at best. We will not go baco or reccomend.a typical vegas eatery pretending to be more than it is.

Lunch in Las Vegas, NV

By Vy H. |

Came here randomly for Sunday lunch last week—no wait but we opted to sit at the bar. Food was AMAZING!! To start, the Clam Chowder was so delicious. We enjoyed the Connecticut Lobster Roll and Wild Ross Sea Chilean Sea Bass—lobster roll was full of lobster chunks and the sea bass was so soft and buttery. Also, their Caesar Salad is one of the best I’ve ever had! Drinks were good, and service was great! Note: they are not a part of Caesars so they don’t take Caesars drink vouchers.

Loved It!

By wetmartini |

My husband and I wandered in an hour before our concert was to start and though there was a line for tables, we grabbed two seats at the bar and a friendly waiter immediately took our order for cocktails and light fare: calamari, tuna poke and oysters Rockefeller. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed watching the guys preparing the fresh shrimp and oyster platters. The place was extremely organized, staff competent and friendly as was everyone seated around us at the bar. We look forward to another visit when we have time for a full meal.

Almost a total disaster...

By AnnandWinnie |

Everything went wrong... only a couple of things went right. And even then, the portions were small for the price. But they owed up to it and "comped" the meals liquor and gave us vouchers.

Truly an underrated spot on

By Pandaglf24 |

Truly an underrated spot on the strip. If you love seafood, great service and wonderful atmosphere this is the place. We stopped in on our first night at Caesars just for dessert and kept returning each day after. The complimentary onion bread is some of the best I’ve ever had. Seafood platter was delicious and super fresh. Service is some of the best in Vegas.

best oysters in las vegas

A good seafood option at Caesar’s

By kimmysue42 |

We had a very nice dinner here before a concert. We were seated on the patio which has beautiful scenery of the Forum shops area. We shared a crab cake & oysters( both east & west coast) as appetizers. Presentation was good & food was fresh. For dinner I enjoyed the scallops over a cauliflower purƩe. We also had the halibut, the swordfish & Mac & cheese. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. Probably the best part of the meal. Service was great until the end when the server sort of disappeared once he brought the bill and we were waiting for over 20 minutes for his return as we needed to head to our concert. Kind of annoying. Sort of put a damper on the overall experience. I did enjoy the fish tanks near the kitchen with lobsters & other fish.

Phenomenal!

By ExHospitalityPro |

Reservations are definitely needed as this place gets packed! Strange that they have so few reviews as this place serves probably the freshest seafood in Vegas. Service was very good, not rushed, and relaxed in a booth.

Service good, food mediocre

By fryertuck3 |

Waited was good but food was mediocre. Atmosphere was nice. Sourdough rolls starter was cold and maybe a bit stale, though flavor was nice. Halibut cheeks app was overcooked and a far cry from fresh in Alaska (maybe an unfair comparison). Shared a ceaser salad and lobster roll. Salad dressing good, dish was cold, romaine seemed less than fresh. Lobster roll was mostly roll and little lobster but flavor was fine. Total tab $120 with tip.

My Water Grill Birthday review

By Chester4709 |

The meal was good...but it took them an hour to prepare the food for a table of 5. 1 of the orders was incorrectly prepared (ordered medium well filet mignon ...got rare) which kind of destroyed the atmosphere/celebration. Service was slow to respond to requests like getting the bill, etc. so you MUST LET THEM KNOW by physically finding them or someone else. In regards to the wine, I'm not sure we got the full bottle of wine we actually paid for. They did give a free birthday cheesecake. Try the Filet Mignon - which is really good if they do it correctly. The Lobster was also very good. Avoid the salad. BE SURE TO LET THE STAFF KNOW BEFOREHAND IF YOU INTEND ON GOING TO A SHOW AFTERWARDS or YOU WON'T MAKE IT! From ordering to finishing, it took 2 hours for us at a normal dinner pace. Except to spend $100 or so per person in your party.

Crab to die for
