My son and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Penn's Landing a block or so away from here. It is on the way to/from the PHLASH stop. My son and I had Ham and Cheese subs that had ALOT of ham and were fantastic. So much so, we went back the next day. This time I had a Ham and Cheese sandwich. Which was also wonderful. The staff was pleasant, patient - for those who were not sure what to choose and social -able - for those who appreciate staff that are interested in you, not just making a sale. When we return to Philadelphia, we will do our best to return.

During our stay, we visited this restaurant twice. On the second visit, the manger/owner even remembered what my son ordered. We had BLT, panini, and chicken sandwich. Everything was very fresh.

Stopped in after a hot day at the museum. Drinks were cold and refreshing. Got a Reuben, which I found to be in the top 20% of Reubens I've had anywhere. The only negative I have to say about this place is that they have one big trash can with no recycling bins. The drinks we had were in glass bottles and aluminum cans, so it would have been nice to have recycle bins there. I asked the clerk if they had a recycling bin and she said "no, you can just drop them in the trash." When I protested and said I wanted a bag to take the empties with me she then said "oh, well I can recycle them back here." I trusted her, but as I walked away I heard her drop them in what sounded like the trash can I saw right behind her. I hope that wasn't the case. I believe that is incumbent upon establishments these days to do so. Maybe not everyone agrees, but I am sure there are others like me who will be turned off. So, make it simple and put out a recycling bin. You will then please ALL customers. We all need to do our part for the environment.

This little cafe was quite good. They have an interesting menu of paninis and sandwiches. We did not try the salads or bagels but they looked good! The food was made fresh to order. The food was of high quality and very filling. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

The nothing negative I have to say about this daily we ended up going there several times throughout the two and a half weeks I was in Philadelphia has the breakfast across the street at the hotel was starting to drive us crazy. We all totally wish we had found it sooner it became our spot every day we even got lunch from there there's sandwiches the room and the roast beef turkey everything slice to order on a house with fresh bread that was amazing they had huge desserts cookies to a couple pretzels they were all great too they also had a wide variety of sodas and even some healthy options of drinks and a pure cane sugar soda that only had fresh ginger carbonated water and pure cane sugar, it was excellent. If you visit in this area and don't stop here for a sandwich you're truly missing out I don't understand why they're not more busier it could be a location think maybe they're just off the back but this is a must-stop for a good meal if you visit in the area don't stop here for a sandwich or truly missing out I don't understand what the night before busier it could be a location thing a make either just off of the back but this is a must stop for a good meal I found it in Philadelphia was hard to get a good deal with value Inn Great service this place a great i just standing up customer care as well as providing value for a quality product if I come back to Philly which I will this will be a definite stop for me every single time.

If you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Penns Landing this is the best breakfast option nearby other than the continental breakfast at the hotel. Perfectly located across the street and just south of hotel. The paninis are fresh and delicious. This is also a deli, but did not try any other sandwiches. If you're in the city to tour, this little deli is a great place to start the day before heading to the city attractions.

My family and I stumbled upon this friendly little cafe n deli whilst strolling along the Delaware River waterfront. The excellent service, tasty soup/sandwich and relaxed feel made for an enjoyable experience. The two staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

My mother, 68 y/o father, 14 y/o son and I came here on a visit to Philly. It was a Thursday morning for breakfast around 830. We were able to walk directly to the counter and order without difficulty. My mom had the yogurt with fruit and said it was one of the best she had had. My son had a Cuban and it was very flavorful and pressed well. My dad had the Mexican burrito he did not complain about it which was a good sign. I had the waterfront lox. The bagel had a great chew to it. It had plenty of lox and capers too. A satisfying meal. I would recommend sitting and eating this unless you have a very big mouth. I also had the cappuccino which was great. The atmosphere is small yet clean and trendy. There were a few people to come in and order whilst we ate but it never became overly crowded. You do not overlook the water though.

Boxed lunch is listed correctly in the catering menu as a half of a sandwich, fruit, and dessert for $12. Was not prepared for what I opened, however. Pics are attached. Not exactly "gourmet". Definitely hit the rest of the description, but buyer beware.

This is a great place to stop by when exploring the river front area. My favorite thing to do is stroll on over with my Everything bagel with cream cheese & salmon and coffee to nearby Race Street Pier for the perfect setting to enjoy this perfect bagel nosh. Everything on the menu is good and they are extremely accommodating. You can choose to dine inside or they do offer outside seating in front; too bad the marina sidewalk area is private property. Large selection and always fresh.

Ate breakfast here every morning of our 3 day stay in Philadelphia! Being vegetarians, there was a great variety of paninis and sandwiches which were all delicious and most definitely gourmet. Some of our favourites included the tomato and mozzarella panini, veggie hummus, avocado toast and arugula salad. My husband is a bit of a coffee snob and said the coffee here is beautifully made and delicious! The staff too were so friendly and outgoing. Overall the perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner cafe with great staff and great food - couldn't recommend it more!

I was out exploring Philly on foot and passed up a dozen other delis in my search for lunch. Waterfront looked perfect at first and I quickly recognized it is beyond perfect. Most likely the best deli in the entire city. I'm glad I stopped and I will return for lunch the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

This is one of the only places where my whole family agreed that it was good. I got the BLT and others got a roast beef sandwich, smoked turkey, apple and brie sandwich and a chicken Caesar salad. Everything was good and freshly made. You can get various types of breads and cheeses and condiments...really good quality ingredients! My BLT was $4.99!!! Salad $7.99, Turkey $6.99 and Roast beef $6.99. We also bought chips and fruit. Wish we would have found this place sooner as we would have eaten here more. There are a few tables inside, but we took ours to go. This was the least expensive we spent on a meal on our 5 day stay...it is near Penn's landing, but looks like they have a second location at 3131 W Walnut st. They also serve breakfast and gourmet coffee. Looks like they do delivery and catering too for a fee. Their hours are Seven days a week 7am - 8pm.

While walking along the Delaware River in the Old City area on a late Sunday afternoon, we discovered this waterfront deli. It offered a wide selection of reasonably priced sandwiches, soups, salads, and beverages. With so many delicious sounding sandwiches, we finally chose two along with iced teas and sat at an outdoor table. Both sandwiches were very good. They used Boar's Head deli (always good) and bread that was fresh and tasty. This is a good place for a quick, lighter, and affordable meal.

Excellent sandwiches and you can go out on the Pier and eat while enjoying a beautiful view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

We didn't want to walk all the way up Market street while we were staying on the river. Decent prices and great food. We had the turkey hoagie and the apple cranberry salad. Great food, very good service.

We called here for somthing to eat just before they closed. It was pouring down outside, but no pressure to leave, we sat inside and enjoyed freshly made sandwiches and sodas.

In a rather remote location so there's not much choice around so its as well that they provide freshly made on the spot hot and cold sandwiches and paninis to order. Not cheap but high in content and quality. Sit outside or stroll along to the nearby riverside pier to enjoy.

We had a great catered platter from Waterfront Gourmet with wraps. They did a good selection of meats, generous portions. Even the vegetarian wraps were very tasty. The price was reasonable and delivery on time.

Wanted somewhere close found this quaint little spot. A short walk from our hotel. Food was good and service was great. Will visit next time I'm in Philly!

Stopped in because we were staying across the street at the Holiday inn express and had the munchies. Very comfortable little eatery with wide selection and very goo quality foods. Typical deli fare but not typical deli quality, this is better! Staff was very nice and warm the whole time we were there.

Excellent and hearty sandwich. Large selection of dishes The person who served me was adorable and smiling, a real ray of sunshine.
Amazing!
This place is the best! Their wraps are so good, soup, cake, coffee, there isn't anything that I don't think is amazing at this Deli. They are so friendly! The facility is clean and the prices are perfect. I've actually ordered and brought it home for the family. The deli meat is quality. Oh I forgot about the salads! They are amazing too! It's a real treat! Thanks guys for a great meal! I've been here a lot of times and thought I should make sure I do a review because they are so great!
