Nice spot for local beers and quality food

By JG_EDH |

We stopped in for beers and food and had a great visit! The service by our waiter ( Comron) was excellent and unhurried, with a nice selection of beers and high-quality burgers and sandwiches. We will be back.

Unexpected find in Produce Row

By Nate B |

Other than OMSI and a couple restaurants, I wouldn't expect there to be any reason to visit Produce Row along SE 2nd Ave. And yet there are a few gems, including the quarterly Night Market, Produce Row Cafe, and Wayfinder Beer. I discovered Wayfinder when I was forced to park several blocks away from the Night Market, and decided I should go back to try it sometime. I was not disappointed. It seems they are in process of ramping up their brewing operations and offer a few collaboration brews on their taps, alongside several other Portland brews. I had the Vermont IPA, which is light in color, cloudy, and a nice combination of flourishes hops and yeasty tang. Their dirty fries with bacon and cream sauce rival 10 Barrel's nachos (pulled pork and cheese sauce on potato chips). But the real winner was their bahn mi Portland sandwich. The pork belly was succulent and super thick, the sauce and pickles a perfect match, and the French roll not too hard, as it can be with other bahn mi sandwiches I've had.

Good Beer, Good Service, Cool Place, Ok Food

By Eggs74 |

I was recently traveling with a group of 6 in Portland for business and we were referred to Wayfinder Beer. The service was good, drinks were excellent. The outdoor area looked fun even though we ate inside. The service staff did a great job. We were referred here because of the good food and were slightly disappointed. Three of us ordered salmon and they were all overcooked. My wife makes way better salmon on our grill and she is not a chef. The appetizers were pretty good and the crabcake was ok. We shared the food and no one was raving about it. The desserts were good.....but the food ok. I would return and order the same beer but stay away from the salmon. Not sure if it is a better place to buy a burger.

Hip brew house

By gammish |

Went with a local friend and really enjoyed the atmosphere which is what you pay for at Wayfinder. Beers were fine - in today's world there is so much craft out there that they tend to blend. Food was uhhh not great but what do you expect at a brewery?! Enjoy

Great beer

By Conrad J |

Really good hazy IPA was served here. Nice inside and outside seating. Family friendly and they have food. T-shirts were reasonably priced. Good stop for a pub tour in Portland.

Very Cool Restaurant, Great Food

By Gravy64 |

My family and I celebrated my oldest daughters birthday today. This location is a very cool working brewery. The place is very popular and was full. They even have an outdoor area with a open fire. The service was spot on, very little waiting for drinks and great food.

Find Wayfinder - and yes that is a smith chart

By Brad J |

Wayfinder has excellent beer and an outstanding setting. We hit it on a sunny late afternoon - with the western sun streaming onto the patio and through the open doors of the tavern. It is well worth the trek across the Willamette - a beautiful 20 minute stroll from Pioneer Square. In an old warehouse district - so off the beaten path, but we also found other hidden gems in the area. Food looked great - but we stuck to beer.

Great new brewpub!

By Google A |

New brewpub. Great beer, at the moment partly co-brewed elsewhere, but very promising nevertheless. I tried their stout, very balanced; I think, drinkable even for non-stout regulars. My son had the hookah-juice one, also wonderful experience (both aroma and taste). Food selection is perfect for a brewpub. I tried the spaetzle with some pigs-in-blanket. Try it.

Wayfinder Beer Bar Was the Most Wonderful Modern Pub In Portland!

By Gregory D |

The interior of Wayfinder Beer Bar was awesome as its atmosphere was open space inside along with a line of food trucks outside. As for food from Lulu's Food Truck, we took out excellent Korean Fried chicken thigh with sesame seeds and soft shredded Shoyu chicken in sweet, soy, ginger garlic & onion. They were served with yummy Mac salad, rice, cilantro citrus salad. Drank excellently-delicious dark smoked Secret-Secret larger! The service was very good as we drank lager in the bar when we got called by Lulu's order for about ten minutes. Overall, its value was so reasonable, but it was very worthwhile. No wait time except for waiting for an order. The location of the Wayfinder Beer Bar was central in downtown Troutdale as the parking space was plentiful for the vehicles outside. The washroom was very clean for the gents.

Nice deck good beer

By Bigdean80 |

Ok this place is a beer joint, so I am rating it as one. My son took me here after a long day at airports. Sat on the deck, very nice. Service was very friendly and quick. Good beer. Good food.

Excellent Service, Good Bear, Great Appetizers

By Tom M |

Had a company sales function and went here for a late dinner. Way finder was kind enough to keep the place open a little longer than normal. Good selection of beer; great selection of whiskeys, bourbons and rum. Staff are super friendly, and went out of their way for us. I would come back here in a minute the next time in Portland. Thanks to all

Wayfinder

By Martha J |

Wayfinder was delightfully clean and cool inside on a hot Portland day. The service was wonderful and the Brews were great!! I had a Doomtown West Coast IPA and my husband drank Flower in the Kettle Hazy IPA. There was a huge list to choose from and food was available as well. Very cool.

Good beer, food and tons of seating!

By StaceyLeeDee |

We went here with a large group, but despite 300 seats (including outdoors, where it was not raining) we waited to be seated on a Thursday night. BUT, so worth the wait. Good beer, yummy food, picnic tables outside are just perfect for large groups. Thoroughly enjoyed the stout!

Delish

By Susan L |

Had dinner here before a show at the Moda Center. Great food! Best fish and chips we've had in a very long time. The Nicoise salad was good but too much arugula in my opinion. The beer wasn't our favorite but maybe we ordered the wrong things. Would definitely go back and give some other beers a try.

Cool space, yummy menu

By SHEvorg |

Cool patio space with fire pits, long bar inside with lots of seating options. The menu was interesting and varied. Enjoyed a great vegetarian meal of pickled veggies and the Freedom hash, which was a big saute of yams, Brussels Sprouts and lots of other fresh goodness. One of my best meals this week! Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip to PDX.

Off the beaten path!

By Kim S. |

We were looking for somewhere to have beer before a cooking class and stumbled upon this place. It's located in a warehouse district so it has an industrial vibe. So glad we found it! It had a good selection of beers and great service.

Fancy place, delicious beer and food

By Markus L |

We had lunch and tried some beer and salmon fish and chips. Both just delicious and worth to come back. We also liked how they created such a nice place in an old factory.

Slow Service and Not Kid-Friendly

By proffrank |

Our party of 7 visited Wayfinder for dinner. Our 7 year-old granddaughter was part of the group. On couple ordered the charcuterie plate, and were very disappointed. I ordered the soup, roasted tomato, and while it was very tasty, it was not hot. That was also a disappointment. But, we all were most disappointed about our granddaughter's meal. She ordered fish and chips, one of her favorites, from the kids'menu. She took two bites, then started to cry because it was spicy. Two of the adults tasted it and said was indeed very spicy. Why would a restaurant include a very spicy dish on the children's menu? Not kid-friendly at all. Also, while our server was very good, the food service was very slow. Also, not a kid-friendly situation.

Wow-what a place

By shewholovestoeat |

This place has only been open 3 weeks, but you would never know by the crowds, food and service. WOW. Our server was a hoot, how much fun can we have with wait staff-tons as it turns out. Great beer selection, local and German leaning. Super food. The Black lodge sandwich and salad (all sandwiches can be served as a salad instead) was very popular. A very tasty Philly cheese style entree. Tried starters of fried oysters with a jalapeno dipping sauce. So crunchy while the oyster was juicy and tender. Dirty fries are fun, topped with beer cheese, green onions and pork belly. The pretzel with mustard and beer cheese dip was soft and golden outside. The lump crab cakes are a masterpiece. It is all crab with great seasoning-Old Bay style. Great prices on all. Beers come in anything for a small 2 oz ish size to pints. Makes it easy to try several kinds of beers. They were out of several beers and have not started brewing in house yet. They are collaborating with others at this point. They also have a full bar! Score!!! The deck is huge with a great firepit. Inside is comfy and spreads out for plenty of seating. For dessert we got the bread pudding (hint: order a shot of bourbon and pour it over the dessert to make it really fun!) All was good--can't wait to go back!!!

A Side Trip Worth Taking

By beerwriter |

Good beers -- emphasizing lagers, not ales, which is uncommon in the Pacific Northwest -- and excellent pub grub in an appealing space a bit off the usual Portland "beaten path." Friendly staff and an excellent outdoor deck if the weather permits enjoying an al fresco afternoon.

Great beer and fantastic food

By Jon R |

We walked here (as we walked nearly everywhere in Portland) and it seemed like we might not be in the correct area-- and poof- we were transported to a great dinner and beer vibe-site. I am a bit snobby with my beer-- and it was great-- Portland has (of course) lots of great beer- this brewery was no exception. Worth the walk over the bridge from the west side =-)

Great atmosphere and great brews

By Ready2Travl2 |

We were in the area and decided to check this place out (never been here before and this place was buzzing). We did tasters. Totally unexpected - we enjoyed every single one (seriously from helles to IPAs to Belgian pale to hefe). The patio space is top notch as well. Not to mentioned all appetizers good sharing portion size and well made. We will return.

Great food & excellent service!

By Tracy B |

Excellent food options, very tasty, and great service! It has comfortably indoor, and outdoor seating.

Nice, but not yet worth a detour

By TE77 |

One of the many brewpubs in the region. Style and outdoors seating area nicely designed in what seems to be upgraded area of town. Beer nice. Staff a bit chaotic. Food im general too salty. Some dishes mice (e.g. sauceges), some too simple and mediocre excecuted (e.g. salmon, dry and very basic. Not (yet) worth a detour, but nice in case being in the neighbourhood.

I should have tried the beer...

By Sondra W |

I give it average. The location and atmosphere are great. You feel like you are definitely at a local hang out. I think I may have appreciated it more if I got the beer or bar food - I order a salad which was probably not the right thing to order. That said, it has a good authentic Portland experience.

Definitely a YES

By Family0fTravelers_5 |

Love the vibe at this restaurant. While waiting for seating on a busy Saturday night, we found seats at the full service bar. We've tried a few different menu items here, but the burgers are particularly good! I mean, a brewery with good burgers seems like a no-brainer, but these burgers stand out as some of the best. The service was good as well. We will definitely be back again!

Great variety of food and drinks

By vintagepenny55 |

Extensive menu and delicious local beers to try. Plus they have a wine list as well. Lovely setting-we had a fabulous warm night so we sat outside.

Great Gastropub with excellent food and good beer selection

By WIA2014 |

Another relatively new brewery in Portland is Wayfinder, which can be found on Second Avenue in Portland’s east side. The brewery opened in October 2016 with a range of collaboration brews as well as a good selection of food. Housed in a converted grain warehouse and with an extensive raised deck area complete with fire pit, this is a very tasteful set up, building nicely on the accents from the original building to provide a very nice taproom/brew pub environment. It was sunny in Portland yesterday when I arrived at Wayfinder so we decided to sit out on the patio to enjoy our lunch. The beer selection was good and the food was outstanding. I tried the “Moving The Goalposts” IPA, a collaboration with Ross Island Brewing and found it to be a very fresh, hoppy, bitter IPA – right up my street. I also had the “Major Payne” chopped smoked pork sandwich which proved to be a great choice. The sandwich was very tasty and the fries served along with it were among the best I have ever had – hot, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. As close to perfect as I can imagine. Our server Jenn was delightful and engaging and a great advert for this new gastropub. I highly recommend a visit for all the reasons mentioned above.

Out at the industrial area worth a visit nice outdoor

By charmtheduck |

It’s out by the industrial area. It’s spacious inside and also have outdoor patio. A lot of beers on tap to chose from. Kids menu are good especially the flat iron steak with fries which was only $6. Both kid and dog friendly. No TV for sports viewing

Not your average pub food, by far!

By Marisa F |

Great brews and atmosphere. House made sausages that rival those in Germany. Don't miss the beet salad.

Awesome patio

By Nikki H |

We stopped here on a sunny 85 degree Thursday afternoon. The beers were fantastic and so was the food. The patio is awesome and you can find sun and shade. I’d definitely recommend.

Enjoyable brews in a cool spot.

By danhenry11 |

Really enjoyed this place, the people were cool and treated us right. Beer was excellent. Everything about it hit the spot.

Nice

By C B |

Great indoor and outdoor seating. Brewpub/cafe menu. Full bar. Plenty of on-street parking nearby, nice ambiance. Food very good.

Hard to Find, Worth the Trip

By cnotyepb |

Nice microbrew pub with an array of food and drink. First the building is somewhat tucked in near east Burnside district. Once found great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Try the Prairie Bomb Imperial Stout. It has aged coffee and chili infused. For food had the Mac & Beer Cheese with roasted chilies- just yum. My group had many other options and all were thumbs up. Make sure you visit and try to get an outdoor seat.

A secluded wonder

By David R |

This place seems secluded from the mainstream area of Portland and is well worth seeking it out. The food menu is not wide but varied and prepared with excellence. The beer menu offers a good selection. The bartender is a superior mixologist with exceptional talent. A bit pricey but in line with what you get. And add to it, the service is great. Outdoor seating is available in an enclosed area. When in Portland, you just have to stop by here.

Find Your Way To Wayfinder Beer

By NeedPivo |

This was the last stop during my recent trip to Portland. Located in an industrial area, and a few blocks from several other Portland gems (including Hair of the Dog), Wayfinder beer is a recent entry to the city's incredible beer scene. The first thing you see is a comfy enclosed deck, sleek and woody; step inside into a rustic taproom with a large bar amid several communal tables. The beer styles run the gamut from ales to lagers, which includes 7 house beers and 9 guest beers. I enjoyed their "Party time Pils," "Downtown IPA," Oathbreaker Saisson," and a delicious Weiheinstephaner bock beer, a guest from Germany. A pleasant evening with some decent craft beer. Wayfinder is situated near the Portland Streetcar line.

Nice patio but not much else

By Zaxes |

If you don't count the nice patio, this is a so-so beer and Berger restaurant with a waitress and staff that don't seen to give a darn other than to take your order. Not worth the effort in trying to find parking.

Great find!

By islabound |

Stopped in with a group of 7 for a bite, and brews on a Saturday afternoon. Food was good , beers were great, atmosphere was awesome. Nicely decorated, outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating. Service was spot on, we will come back if we visit Portland again. 👍👍

Perfect patio for a sunny day!

By Mari Correa |

Worth the walk! We crossed the river through the steel bridge and got a table outside. Our server gave us great attention even when the place got packed. Both ciders were really good. She also offered us free samples of the beers on tap to help us choose. We had the veggie mushroom sandwich and it was delicious. Really recommend!

Love this place

By Laurie O |

Great food with options not found at your typical brew pub. Grilled brocollini, brussel sprouts are a must. 1/2 price beers on Sunday are a super plus. Have been here on several occasions -- great each time!!!

Cool place for brews on a the deck

By Ellyn Kindy Jeck |

Friends met for happy hour Friday night, hung out by the fire pit and then by the stand up bar in front of the brew tanks while we waited for a table. All fun, good beer, good cocktails. Fun wait staff, good food (salmon, fingerling potatoes and grilled salmon tasty and salmon well prepared, smoked vegetable hash for me which had an amazing flavor of grilled smoky veggies).

Vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore -- all will be pleased here

By bnlparker |

Second time here while in town visiting family. Great outdoor tables as well as plenty of indoor seating. Last visit was for lunch with family, friends and cousins. 20 of us total. Gave Wayfinder a call about an hour before our 12:30 arrival. We would have been happy sitting at different tables if necessary, but they had us all set up and ready to go! Our ages ranged from 2 to 73, vegan to carnivore and all were very pleased with the drinks and food. Great friendly service, food and drinks.

Interesting beers and nice patio

By Guy G. |

I visited this brewery on a walking tour and I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in Portland. I recommend the honey lager — I know, weird. But for a person who doesn’t usually drink lagers (IPA is my jam)... well, I finished all my friends’ tasters. Not that the IPA isn’t good too. Go with the Doomtown. Great food too.

Best waitress every and a delicious meal!

By Sarah E |

Had the most amazing birthday dinner here! Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Seriously, one of the best I've every had. Bubbly, friendly, a great presence, and boy was she on top of things! Every time we needed something we barely had to think of it and she was there! The food is delicious too! Soup and salad for $10 - a generous portion and the flavors were great. They happily subbed out meat on one of the salads. I don't think anyone at the table had anything that they were less than thrilled with. I'm definitely glad we came back here after a brief stop in during the summer. And I'm sure to be back again!

Wowed ar Wayfinder

By JulesBrie |

Stopped in for appetizers at this new restaurant located in the hip & trendy lower southeast side of Portland. Service was beyond wonderful and the appetizer we was simply delectable.

Delicious dinner, excellent beer

By Stephanie0988 |

This place was just delicious, from the beer to the food everything was excellent. I really liked the space itself. The inside was spacious and had a large bar area and it also had a huge outdoor space. It could have done with a couple of outdoor heaters since there was an hour wait to sit inside. There was a fire pit on the deck as well. They had a good beer selection, lots of German inspired beers. I had a Pilsner and a delicious saison. For dinner we started off with the fried cauliflower which weren't battered but more pan fried. They had a spicy sauce and blue cheese on them. It was just delicious and very addicting to eat. For dinner I had the prime rib sandwich. The meat was super thin and tender, it also came with a salad. It was so tasty. I sampled the mac and cheese as well which was really cheesy and had a lot of sauce. Everyone loved their dinner. It was a delicious stop, would definitely recommend a stop for some excellent food and beers.

Beer was good, but food was not

By pink_paddler |

I ordered the Cauliflower Bahn Mi sandwich. The cauliflower was tough and chewie as if it had been microwaved. i.e. had been cooked earlier and zapped to heat it up. The Bahn Mi sauce was quite tasty and authentic. The bread was decent. Most of the veggies were pickled, but the jalapenos were just raw slices (would have been great pickled or roasted instead). I know it takes longer to prepare food fresh, but I won't be eating that again, so if you get chewie cauliflower, send it back. The Luna Muerta - Vienna-Style Lager was very good.

Wonderful Wayfinder

By Seattletraveler98107 |

Find your way to Wayfinder in the Produce Row area of Portland. A new brew pub that is currently serving some of their collaboration beers while the brewery is being completed. A huge outdoor deck (raining when we were there) will be great in the spring and summer months.

Urban, Industrial Brewpub

By S49M |

Had dinner and drinks at this brewpub in Portland's gentrifying, close-in, east-side industrial district while attending a retirement party. I enjoyed a portabella mushroom submarine sandwich and others said the fish and chips were tasty. They were pouring from perhaps a dozen and a half taps. I found their strong wheat beer (Weihenstephan Kristallweizenbock) quite good. Despite the large after-work crowd, service was good and prices were moderate. Traffic noise was ever-present on the outside patio.

Relaxed, cool, retro warehouse cabin vibe serving awesome craft beer

By utfiero |

Wayfnder excels at all the right attributes- relaxed ambiance, great spaces, fantastic craft beer, good food, and good service. We're craft beer aficionados, and Wayfinder is a gem. Berliner Weisse – dry citrus nose. A dry beauty of a brew, starting with a champagne effervescence with dry almost floral notes, finishing citrus and dry. Columbia’s Hell Coffee Lager- like a beer version of a hazelnut coffee! Asado Fries- oh so good! The beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked to barely medium- thank you for not overlooking the beef! Service: Super nice bartender Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathroom cleanliness: above average Free WiFi

Nice outdoor, but busy/short staffed

By Anish S |

We went during labor day weekend and even though we went around 2 PM, there was a long wait (even though there were open tables inside). Additionally, they were running a limited menu because of staffing issues (we assume). All they kept saying is “we are trying to be caught up”. The staff must have been overworked b/c when we asked questions, we received short answers only, from pretty much everyone. We ordered fries (which was nothing great) and Buffalo cauliflower. That was really good despite the presentation.

Cool place with a nice industrial vibe

By Kailey T |

The patio is fantastic here. The food is also very tasty with some great beer options. We came here with a group of 8 and it was busy but we were able to get a table easily. Will definitely go back.

Great addition to Portland brewery scene

By mpn7330 |

This is a newer brewery in industrial produce row area of south east Portland. Lots of seating indoors and out. The vibe is chill (like many Portland establishments) service was great and the extensive outdoor seating area perfect on a sunny day. Umbrellas are over many tables allowing for some shade on a hot day. The beer selection was great with everything from German pilsners to ipa's, stouts and more. We sampled the pretzel- delicious with the beer cheese and mustard. Then tried the beer mac n cheese, perfectly done. The best item for me was the sausage party. They make the sausages in house and they were great. The jalapeño cheese sausage was fantastic, full flavored with a slight smoky finish. The bratwurst was delightfully tasty, better than in Germany! Try this place in PDX, you won't be disappointed!

Dinner before Tim McGraw concert.

By TigersOR |

Found this new restaurant and decided to give it a try. Great weather and the outside deck was packed so we went inside. Cool vibe, great beer and food. This is a fun and awesome place to hang out . Highly recommended and the service was good too. Reasonable prices and awesome baby back ribs. Parking was available for free too.

Huge fan

By Richard |

Huge fan of this place. The fries are triple fried, so they're super crispy and almost a must-have as an opening order for the table. The prime rib sammiches were a hit at our whole table, although I got the double burger and loved my choice. People liked their IPAs, but I was pleasantly surprised at how many options a non-IPA guy like me had. Get tasters! The space itself is really huge. It doesn't look it from the front, but they're in an industrial area and they have the room for lots of equipment/seating/stuff. Be smart about parking (or better yet, take mass transit) and enjoy.

A Great Variety of Beers in a Cool Location

By DT705 |

We gave this new entry into the brew market a try. Lots of good beers on the menu including a few German entries. I gave Party Time a try and it was delicious. The food was a pleasant surprise. The pickled veggies and the salt and vinegar chips were so good. It was a rainy Sunday afternoon so the patio and firepit areas were quiet, but I imagine they are great spots to enjoy some good beer.

Perfect Patio dining

By Sherstur |

Four friends dined here on a perfect blue sky day in Portland. We had beers and a bloody Mary. My Salad Nicoise with yellow fin tuna was outstanding. Burgers, sandwiches, sausages, fries and pickles were also enjoyed. Service was friendly and we were moved into shade when the sun got too hot. Would return next time in Portland.

A Buzz

By max r |

This is a real buzz.- the outdoor area is a popular hangout with a great range of dishes from standards to some nice in-house innovation. The beer is good too. The wine list is somewhat limited but this doesnt claim to be a wine bar. Service is good and they looked after the youngsters in our group really well.. Be prepared for a bit of a wait at busy times - they do their best!

QuAlitY FoOd & SeRvIcE

By Zimbawe Sky |

Wayfinder is a rennovated warehouse Restaurant and Micro Brewery in the inner SE industrial district. Well designed and artfully decorated. The menu is elevated pub grub. We ordered the house specialty hatch green chile queso burger and it was exceptional- perfectly seasoned and cooked. The in-house made chocolate silk pie was outstanding. The service was courteous-professional and welcoming. The only hit here is parking is somewhat difficult. We are not beer drinkers but the selection appeared quite impressive .. As first time diners'-we will definitely Return.......ImpreSsIvE...

Beer

By Jason D |

Went with friends. Goal of the day was to have some good beer at venues offering outside seating. They just opened this up and did a nice remodel on the outside deck area. Was comfortable, plenty of umbrella shade and ample seating. Had one of the better IPA's I've had this year in the Doomtown. Also had an elote off the appetizer menu (only half an ear 😞) which was one of the best I've ever had. Wife had beer salad was also refreshing. Loved the vibe here. Service was okay because there were slammed.

Great beer - great food!

By sharrongeg |

Great place. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We tried 3 different beers and a glass of wine. Ordered a side of fries - and the portion was huge. Requested the fries be super crispy - and they were perfect. The only downside was the wood block QR code. Took several tries to get the menu to come up. Highly recommend!

No beer diversity, but it tasted fine

By Ellery M |

Came to this brewery after dinner since it was on a lot of Portland's best breweries lists and close to our dinner spot. We were a little disappointed by the selection. They have about 10 beers on the menu and at least 6 of them are german-style beers (maibocks, hefeweizens, lagers, pilsners). They have 2 IPAs, which were actually really good, and 1 stout. We wanted to do a flight, so that didn't give us a lot of options to try new flavors. The beers we had were good and I would go back for a pint but I didn't think Wayfinder was anything special. My favorite was the Chronokinetic IPA and my boyfriend's was the Flower in the Kettle which was a hazy IPA. They have a beautiful outdoor patio that was great to sit out on a beautiful night. We had already eaten, but the food looked really good. The elote and banh mi sandwich smelled amazing! Looking forward to trying the other breweries in Portland.

Great place for an outdoor brew and bite

By WombatboyOR |

Great place for a beer and some great food. They have an amazing outdoor area which is great when the weather is right Chicken schnitzel was excellent!

Great way to meet adult kids

By djb07 |

We had the opportunity to meet our son and his girlfriend at the Wayfinder. The appetizers are good, we ordered another round! Our exchange student from10 years prior was able to join us and we had a wonderful evening. The rib eye steak plate was amazing and all the food was above our expectations. My husband sampled 2 different beers and said both were excellent.

solid

I am visiting Portland and decided to check this restaurant out while waiting for friends to get here. It's a cool space. It's on the second floor and you go up some wide stairs and end up on the deck. The space is great, lots of long tables and a fire pit in the middle. Inside are more tables and a full bar. Lots of staff around and the place was busy. The only bummer part of my experience was after I was seated I was overlooked. After 15 minutes of waiting I finally went up to the hostess and asked for a waiter. The beer list is great, lots of lagers. They are still building their brewery so they have a few brews that they made collaborating with other breweries. I had the Wayfinder/54-40 Nom Noms IPA and it was delicious, lots of flavor and a nice golden color. I had a simple hamburger and it was very good. The french fries however were amazing, so crispy but not over cooked! I wish I was spending more time in Portland because I would like to try a few more beers! it
