I’m always apprehensive when I see advertisements about being the “best” anything but when I saw this place, I looked it up, saw the pictures and reviews and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! This place is LEGIT! Huge wings, amazing crispness and can we just talk about the sauce?! FLAVOR is AMAZING! Lots of SAUCE! So many places give their wings a quick toss and you’re out the door so by the time you get to eat the wings, the sauce is already dried up. Not true here I actually have a little pools of sauce in the corners to be able to re-dip and scoop in. I had someone at a BBQ place recently tell me that their barbecue sauce is life-changing, then I just thought it was just meh. There is nothing “meh” about Wayne’s! These are hands down the BEST WINGS I have EVER had!! If you like wings, you have to try wings! If you love wings, you’ll have a new favorite place! #AMAZING!

Visited San Antonio and had to come here. The wings and cheese steak fries were great. We all ordered different flavors and I loved each one I tried. The garlic parm were my favorite. The owner also came out to greet us as well. Easy to see why they were voted best wings!

Wings are always great...idk what the other review is talking about....clearly likes his wings with no flavor. Hahaha

Wings are delicious. They have plenty of options to choose from. I will be returning to try some other sauces. So far the best wings I have had in San Antonio and I have tried a couple of different wing places.

My first visit to Wayne's Wings and I was impress the the staff, service and the mouthwatering wings. It is a small place, but big on flavor. I had the Jacob wet sauce with my wings and they were delicious. The wings are Crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. One may have to wait a bit, but well worth it.

This place was small and packed. I'm not from San Antonio, so I don't when there slow times are. My wings were cooked to order and took a little while due to crowd. I ordered a 6 piece spicy garlic parmesan with fries combo. The price was more than I'd expect to pay for only 6 wing drums/flats, but their drums an flats are large, breaded and crispy, so I was satisfied and didn't mind the wait. I'm often in San Antonio, so I'm looking forward to going back to try some of their other seasonings and unique wet sauces. I'm also looking to try one of their philly cheesesteaks that I've read god things about.

My family came from Taiwan to visit us and my friend took us to this restaurant and my family loved their wings and told me that is one of the highlights of our trip. I don’t eat lot of wings, but I like their’s a lot! It’s not a big place, so make sure to be there early. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Probably a good idea to order ahead. Went to eat there and they were pretty busy. Had to wait a while but it was awesome.

If your looking for good chicken wings look no further . I’ve had my fair share of wings in my life but these take the biscuit. The hardest thing about this place is choosing which flavour to go for . You have over 20 different flavours to choose from and the wings are twice the size of normal wings and Cooked to perfection as they fall off the bone . We met and chatted too the owner Wayne who’s one of the nicest guys you could meet he even brought out a sample of the desert wings they offer which are out of this world. He chatted to us about the history of the place and you can tell he’s passionate about he’s wings. Overall if your visiting San Antonio then you have to check this place out . Keep up the good work guys I’m looking forward to a franchise coming to the uk soon.

This is my second time coming here. I continue to enjoy the high-quality food that's is just amazing! I'm obsessed with The Boss flavor, a mix of lemon pepper and BBQ, it sounds weird but it totally works. The wings are large and juicy and you receive a great value for your money. I know there has been some debate with the quality of service and professionalism--this is clearly not an issue (if it ever was). This is the second time I have received professional and courteous service. Tonight, the young lady rushed my order because she saw that Me and my husband were waiting outside. She said there were so many orders in front of us it would have been ridiculous for us to wait. She brought our food out to the car because we had gone across the street to the gas station. That is going above the call of duty for me and my family. Wayne's Wings has a new convert.

This is a nice low key restaurant. Hands down, the best chicken wings I've ever had. They have more flavors and different flavors you can't get anywhere else. The ranch wings and the garlic parmesan are the best in my opinion. My only complaint is that because the food is so good, you have to wait up to 2 hours for your food because this place is super busy. I suggest you order in advance.

The wings here are hands down the best I have ever had.for the past few years Wayne’s is on our must do list when we visit San Antonio.my boys ages 10, 13, and 16 picked this spot over the river walk lol😂. The establishment is small but definitely a hidden gem! We didn’t get any pics because we ate them so fast!!!

Heard that Wayne's Wings were the best in San Antonio. Not sure who voted that but they arent my favorite. It's easier to say pros and cons. Pros...wings were big and juicy. The philly fries are really good. Cons...they bread all their wings so all the flavor stays on the outside. The sauce runs off and makes enough waste for another order. They are pricey ( almost 10.50 for 10) and messy. The place is very small, you have to ask for napkins, no wet wipes, no fountain soda and 1 tiny restroom for everyone. If you do order get it to go.

OMG the food is delicious. It seems that I’m hooked! There is so many flavors to choose from (wet & dry). Wherever anyone come from it is well worth it, and I think I’m going back tomorrow

Probably the best wings I've ever had, they are also HUGE. The Kay Kay sauced wings were absolutely perfect for heat and traditional buffalo flavor, I don't think they need any improvement. The spicy curry blew my mind as well. The gentleman working there was 100% most welcoming and recommended that we try the funnel cake wings also and they did not disappoint, such a unique flavor that were an exceptional "dessert". 1000/1000 would go here again and again.

By far the best buffalo flavored wings I have ever had, the Lemon Pepper was excellent and several of the other combinations are equally good. There is a wait but it is well worth it.

Wayne's Wing's IS NOT just another wing joint. When you Love and have passion for your product and business it shows. This business earns my "The Sage's Drive Across Town" award. Well Done to the whole TEAM

This is the first time I visited this restaurant. A couple of things that are important: 1. Look sharp. It sneaks up on you. It literally is a small restaurant. 2. Read the sauces carefully. They are nuanced and unique. For instance, there is a buffalo and a Buffalo Ranch sauce. It is better to get a traditional wings instead of boneless. The amount of food is roughly the same. The amount of sauce is exactly the same. The chicken is cooked to a very crispy level. Very crispy. The meat is juicy. I am not a fan of the level of crispiness, but adding a wet sauce changes it. If you eat slowly, the crust of the chicken soaks it up. So let's talk about the sauce. They do not skimp of the sauce. They allow two sauces when you order 8 wings. I would also suggest not getting a dry rub. There are over 10 different dry rubs including a funnel cake. Yes. I said a funnel cake. I had the lemon pepper, but the buffalo ranch sauce made the dry rub not worth getting. You can go back many different times to get a large amount of combinations. They have fries also. I suggest getting a large fry to share amount 2 - 3 people. The restaurant is small. Very small. I would suggest ordering ahead and taking it to go.

I'm not even the biggest chicken wing fan, but my significant other is. He's raved about this place for years and we finally had the chance to go. The area doesn't look too good, but you can tell the place is legit because it is SUPER busy. The line is long and it takes a little while to get your wings, but they warn you ahead of time. If you are in a hurry, don't go here. You can't rush good food they tell you will take a while. We had the Jacob's, spicy honey lemon pepper, and a small order of the funnel cake. The Jacob's were the best, but the others were just as amazing. We also ordered some fries with a small dipping sauce of the creeper. That sauce is HOT. My significant other LOVES hot but this was a bit much even for him. Don't get me wrong, we definitely ate it, but it is not for the faint of heart. Eat with caution. All in all, I'd definitely go back. These wings are for sure the best ones I've ever eaten and I can't see how others could compare. They are quite large (makes wingstop and other chains look absolutely minuscule in comparison) and the sauces are obviously uniquely homemade. You won't even need ranch or blue cheese, trust me.

Wings were plump and juicy. We ordered Duke sauce. Sweet, tangy & spicy. Loads of sauce but the wings were still crispy. Service was great. Facility was clean. Definitely on my list to visit again.

After a neighbor of my daughter recommended this establishment, we decided to check it out since we love wings. Even though they only have one location, which was not close to my daughter's house, we still went. It was not a mistake. They offer a variety of flavors, including "funnel cake", which we didn't try though. The honey barbecue was good though, as was the garlic parmesan. The only complaint was that there was more cheese than garlic on them. When you do go there, to place an order, you'll have to wait about 45 minutes to get them. It's much better to place the order on line or call them and then go pick them up! Maybe not the best wings that I ever had, but definitely up there!

Waynes is a small place that doesn’t look like much but man oh man is the food good. Everything is made to order so you’ll be waiting awhile for your food but it’s SO worth it! Our wait tonight was around 30 minutes, not bad for a Saturday. The food was awesome and the staff were excellent! Do not miss out on Waynes Wings!

Disgusting. Just….disgusting. I had them Steve-Os way and it was like drinking Carolina mustard bbq sauce from the bottle. I couldn’t even power through 10 of them and I felt sick afterwards from both the sauce and the amount of grease the breaded wings held vs easily cleaning up 20 at Pluckers and feeling fine after. My wife ate 5 or 6 of the mild and felt the same way so hers also got tossed in the trash. You all are absolutely insane for calling these the best wings in SA.

Being greeted by the owner upon walking in, great customer service from the cashier being that it was my family & I first time eating here. I didn’t get her name but she was very helpful & patient. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our food, which wasn’t bad because they were packed. Lastly, food was amazing! We were trying to order again on Sunday but did not know they were closed on Sunday. Great food!

These wings were delicious. I got the sweet BBQ and the Roxy wings. The Roxys (honey mustard and ranch combined) were the BEST!! These wings were HUGE! I also ordered a small french fry order which was also big. This is a tiny place but we went in the afternoon. They were busy but not extremely but the wait was still an hour. If you like wings, this is definitely the place to try. They are really good and did I say HUGE? I know I ordered way too many! Next time, I will skip the sweet BBQ (even though they were good), and just get the Roxys - they alone were worth the trip.

I love wings! So when I saw this place on a news report online I had to stop on by. I made my order at 130 for pick up at 630 on a Sunday. When I walked in, they had stopped taking orders since they closed at 7. This was at about 615. Saw at least 15 people turned away. Hardly any parking and building had little AC. The staff was friendly and got me my order right on time. With all the hype I was so excited to try the wings. The wings were good. I ordered 5 types, TX honey bee, Jacob, Spicy Curry, Godfather, and funnel cake. Almost all of which ended up being super sweet other than The Godfather so it was hard to get through. Albeit one of the few wing places that do heavy breading on wings right, I am not a heavy breading person. If you are not either probably not the best place for you and if you are you will love it. Chicken was cooked perfect. I guess I got too hyped cuz I was a bit disappointed.

The Buffalo ranch wings were absolutely amazing. Huge, crispy wings with tasty sauce. We were very pleased. We also ordered the spicy garlic parm and after we ate them all the cook brought out 5 more and said he accidentally didn't make them spicy. He also gave us 2 funnel cake wings, which were interesting. The fries were delicious too. This is a great place with awesome staff.

Superb chicken and choices for toppings.Not a chain yet. Treat your family to a fantastic treat. Don’t forget yourself.
