Better than I expected

By KayK0512 |

Most hotel restaurants disappoint. Not this one. Not only convenient (I was staying at the collocated H Hotel) but a decent selection for food and beverages. Service was friendly and accommodating. I had the chopped chicken salad. It was very fresh and tasty.

Steak was delicious

By Andrew_Roamer |

Stayed at the H Hotel with wife and 5 year old son. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Steak was delicious - strongly recommended. Salmon was not bad, a decent 2nd choice if you don't like red meat. Service was very good. If you're staying at the H Hotel, eat here. Food and service are great.

good food, prompt and friendly service

By mwhamburger |

we weren't hugely hungry but had chicken pot stickers (delicious) and a big California Cobb (excellent). Total came to $39, incl. tip ... about what one has to expect in California. Great waiter.

Great food and service

With few options around the area, Waypoint was convenient and efficient. In addition, the food was pretty good! I had the chicken club on rosemary focaccia. While the fries were ‘meh,’ the sandwich was tasty. Servers were very attentive and friendly.

Pleasant surprise!

This hotel restaurant (H Hotel) had excellent food, well prepared and served, and reasonably priced.

Great Place!

I stayed at the H Hotel Los Angeles and ate breakfast and dinner in the Waypoint Kitchen located in the lobby. It has a nice bar and great service. They have some interesting items on the menu and everything we tried was awesome.

Very nice !

Ate here based on a local tip, the night before we departed. Great small plates menu and service was friendly quick and efficient. Not your typical hotel restaurant (and the H is not your typical hotel either)!

Good hotel option for dinner

By chadz52 |

We stayed here after dropping our car and needed to catch an early flight and since there were limited dining options we decided to dine here. Decent menu and full bar.

Mediocre Food

By dailybrew |

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for one night before our flight to Tahiti. Being in the hotel zone there are lots of hotel restaurants you can walk too. We just ate here since it was getting later at night. The service was good. The flatbread was so mediocre and the salad we had was just okay. The chicken was overcooked and tough. Prices are high for not great food unfortunately. Just know that before you eat so your expectations are not high.

Excellent with friendly service and great food

We stayed at the courtyard Marriott for a one night stay and had dinner here and breakfast in the morning. The food was great price is reasonable and we enjoyed both meals. Much better than your average hotel cafeteria restaurant. Don’t hesitate a quick meal here is worth it

Good Calamari, Great roasted Sprouts

By CTPreview |

Ate starters and red wine late last evening (True Myth, Cab from Paso Robles). I really enjoyed it. My wife and I were starving after a day of walking and we needed an evening glass or two of reasonably price wine, and some food. This restaurant was fast and good.

Great food and service!

By Wayfarer KC |

We ordered a salmon main course, buffalo wings and garden salad and all were delicious!!! The server was very attentive and made us feel at home.

Good food! Little pricey

By ClintJacobs |

The food was very good but a bit pricey which we expected being inside a hotel. I think that it will be a much better place once they are able to serve alcohol. Would eat here again and plan on making it my go to place during this trip since it is located within my hotel. The staff that we had was very friendly and accommodating.

Good food with great service

Stayed at the H Hotel Curio by Hilton again and had a couple of meals in this, the lobby area restaurant. As usual, had tasty food from the varied menu with generous portions. Jose at the dinner service and Alfredo at breakfast were pleasant and efficient as usual, very professional. The hotel (which shares the location with Hilton Homewood Suites) is an ideal place to stay, whether for several nights, or as I do for overnight stays when traveling out the next morning, or having arrived from a long flight. Free 24-hour shuttles to and from the terminals and also walkable. Great modern, soundproof rooms. Love the destination floor elevator system and the electronic "do not disturb" room signs.

Slow service, Ok food

By KMilFam |

This is about what I expected for a hotel restaurant located in a higher end Hilton. Pricy, with some interesting offerings but fairly standard quality, and not a huge selection. Service was fairly slow and most likely due to being short handed at the time of my visit. This is more of a default, not really wanting to venture out of the hotel type restaurant to me, rather than a knock your socks off restaurant that happens to be in a hotel.

Suprisingly Very Good!!

By Papaleadfoot |

If you are staying at either of the two hotels which are in the same building (H Hotel/ Homeward Suites) you won't go wrong eating at their Waypoint Kitchen. Try their BBQ brussle sprouts.

Even Considering it is a Hotel Restaurant...

By CoolGeek2013 |

...this place is sub par. The service was ridiculously slow. I waited more than 30 minutes just to get the check. The server was nowhere to be seen while I was eating. When she finally arrived to clear my plates she didn’t bother to ask how the meal was. Had she bothered to ask, she would have found out that my steak was well done, a far cry from the medium rare I had ordered.

Vegan burger!

By LLRose |

I ate here during my stay at the H Hotel. They are open for breakfast and dinner, but not lunch.. I was pleased they had a vegan burger on the menu. It was very tasty! I do wish they'd had more vegan options. Other food was OK, service was good, and atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

Surprisingly good!

By C A |

I ordered the bone in chicken wings, which came out hot, fresh tasting and delivered quickly. Pleasantly surprised as I was not expecting the food to taste this good. The bar area was busy, however I was seated quickly as the restaurant had plenty of available seating.

Great Breakfast with fresh ingredients, friendly service

By LuDstar |

Ate here for Breakfast most days whilst staying at the H Hotel. It's part of the same Hotel building so just around the corner from Reception. Dining area is clean and comfortable and has a number of Booths as well as open plan seating. Breakfast is very good, the ' Hand held breakfast' is awesome! Service is fast and friendly, with regular Coffee topping up, I especially like the way they'll even make you a 'Coffee to go' 👍 Well worth a visit!

Laid back, good food

By Coreee |

A nice restaurant in the H Hotel. Don't pass on the Mac and Cheese. I know it sounds crazy that one set of macaroni and cheese could be qualitatively different than another, but this side that comes in a skillet has insane amounts of cheese. Loretta who works there is also very helpful and nice with recommendations on the menu. Would come back anytime.

High standard

By Zenobia240 |

The Waypoint Kitchen, located in the Homewood Suites hotel, offers a broad menu that includes snacks, salads and more substantial meals. The service was very good with our server demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the menu and providing helpful suggestions.

Food sucks. Everything was TOO SALTY

By KimMaya |

We went for dinner at the Waypoint Kitchen and Bar. The waitress told us that they only had 2 steaks left and they didn’t have the ingredients to make more. A RESTAURANT that is NOT a free for all buffet, RAN OUT OF INGREDIENTS??? If that was not bad enough, we ordered the soup. It was so salty and lukewarm that we had to ask for hot water to DILUTE it. We ordered sautéed spinach. IT WAS TOO SALTY!!! Even the STEAKS were salty. How is that possible??? I can eat bacon straight, so my salt tolerance is considered pretty high. But the 3 dishes I named above were all salted like they were meant to be preserved! Problem 8: It started to feel like the chefs salted our food on purpose. If not, then the chef is so bad at cooking that he/she has no business in being in the culinary industry. Problem 9: Our soup, appetisers and main course all arrived in the span of 15 minutes. HOW IS THIS FINE DINING???

Nummie Brussel Sprouts

By RiverCruiser |

Had a quick late night dinner after arriving. Not rushed even though the restaurant was closing soon. I had wings and brussel sprouts......delicious. Service very good.

Horrible food

By dezlorelle |

I'm not going to complain about service, because we're still in a pandemic and I can live with slow service. But I was here for work for the week and night one I paid $26 for pesto pasta with chicken. My food came in a to-go container, and it was awful. Zero taste to the pasta or pesto, and I got about a 1/4 cup of diced chicken on top. It's literally the worst pasta dish I've ever paid for. The subway sandwich I got the next night behind the hotel was 10 times as good as this pasta.

Good food - no alcohol

By aks120LasVegas |

I was staying at the hotel and ate dinner here as there was not much around. The first issue is the hotel does not have a liquor license which seems to mean the hotel restaurant and bar have no atmosphere. Hopefully that will get sorted soon. I ordered the chicken wrap and it was very tasty so I would recommend the food here. The staff were friendly and working hard but the restaurant was not very full when I visited. Hopefully they will be able to serve wine soon!

Decent restaurant for a hotel

By lburke19 |

We ate here twice on separate days. The first night we had salads and each one was crisp and nicely prepared. The second night we were able to take advantage of their free bar special, which was appreciated. That's only available Monday through Thursday nights. We had chicken fingers and meatballs, and both were very adequate.

Tasty food and NOW they have their liquor license as of 7-21-18

By DRLieberson |

This restaurant is in the building which houses the Homewood hotel AND the H Hotel (both by Hilton). It is currently only offering breakfast from 6-10 am and dinner from 5-10 pm, no lunch. The menu is limited, however the quality of the food makes up for any limitation that you might encounter. On the 49th anniversary of the first manned trip to the moon (7-20-18), they finally have their liquor license, which is one small step for this restaurant, one giant leap for the patrons who eat there! They began serving liquor today, 7-21-18!

Far better than reviewed- don’t hesitate!!!

By j0hnbull |

Good food, reasonable prices- burger and wings, ice tea- all very reasonable and decent quality. In fact, the burger was very good! Reviews are namby pamby but not current or fair or maybe we got lucky- wouldn’t hesitate to come back for sure. Fries were awesome. Service was prompt and polite. Trip advisor has the hours wrong- they are definitely open for breakfast lunch and dinner- stop by!

Nice restaurant for a hotel

By dwg51357 |

I'm not a big fan of hotel restaurants, but we did dinner here one night while staying the the H Hotel, out of convenience. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was substantially above average for a hotel restaurant, drinks were good, and our server was pleasant and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but not terrible.

Friendly Breakfast Service

By Robert W |

The Waypoint Kitchen serves as the sit down breakfast venue for two adjacent hotels, including the H Hotel, where we stayed several times over the past few weeks. Like most higher-end hotels, breakfast is not included and the restaurant is relatively expensive. Having said that, the menu is a good one and the service is excellent. The wait staff - and especially Carlos and Jose - were personable and engaging. We would recommend the spot for them alone.

HORRIBLE SERVICE & Below Average Food

By Walt S |

HORRIBLE SERVICE & worst Hilton Diamond benefits I've experienced. For such a nice hotel this is unacceptable. This will be my last stay here. I'll say at a hotel further away and not as nice so I don't have to deal with a crappy restaurant. My wife and I went for breakfast before our flight. We waited for at least 5 minutes while multiple staff walked by and looked at the line of at least 5 parties waiting and did nothing, not even stop by and say they'll be with us in a minute or go get someone to help. We were lucky enough to have this person as our waiter as well.... Next, their build your own omelette is $15 with NOTHING in it, add veggies, cheese and/or meat for an additional charge. My wife started to order an omelette and the waiter suggested ordering a different item because it was closer to what she wanted, but not exactly. I've eaten here at least 4 times now, and every time the service is non-existent and the food is average at best. If it wasn't for the fact I've been using this hotel when traveling and am tired or short on time, I wouldn't come back. Unfortunately LAX food options are even worse, so it's the lesser of two evils. Today's breakfast was worse than most (yes only most) of my prior experiences. My wife cannot process fats, so she needs things prepared without cream or heavy use of oil or butter. She's been hospitalized once (for days) before from higher oil/fat meal. Her omelette came out more oily than my omelette. They brought out the wrong toast, and other food we didn't order. A different waiter came by and filled my coffee (twice while our waiter didn't was off doing who knows what). Somehow my omelette with only three fillings (no meat) was more expensive than than other items on the menu with 4 and 5 fillings including meat. Lastly, the HH discount... The only way to value the breakfast is to find it on the menu. They give a $10 discount when the food is worth $18 - at least according to their own menu. Look at other Hilton properties instead of making up your own policy that drags the brand down.

Very Nice Decor, Great Food!

By PETER H |

Modest selections but healthy and satisfying choices. My chicken with Brussels sprouts and mash potatoes at dinner was great. Breakfast of Tuscan scrambled eggs and coffee was great! Again, well done Hilton!
