We walked the Brooklyn bridge from NYC and wandered the streets of the Dumbo area and found this place. It was great. The servers and bar staff were very nice. We ordered some assorted veggies and they were delicious. The burger looked awesome (I wish we had more time to try more). Everything tasted fresh and they had a ton of locals getting to go food. Highly recommend!

We got the subway into Manhatten to walk across the Brooklyn bridge and decided to grab some brunch before hand. The food here was lovely and the service was great. It is also just next to the stairs up to the Brooklyn bridge walkway so really handy.

Great spot in Brooklyn! The food was delicious, drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. Huge shoutout to the bartender, Diego —super friendly and polite. Definitely recommend!

Lunch Stop on a tour by a ‘Big Apple Greeter’. Good suggestion & plenty of choice on menu. Staff were friendly & helpful, food was excellent quality & tasty. ‘Trendy’ Diner in a great location. I didn’t check my receipt until the end of the day back at my hotel in Manhattan and had been charged for 3 extra meals! I emailed and sent photo of my receipt, refund & apology for the overpayment was in my account the next morning🙂. Hope to visit again one day.

We loved eating here. Lots of fresh Veggies cooked and layered in unique combinations. Look for a picture of their lunch specials the day we were there. we ordered the crispy vegan quinoa and artichoke burger and we shared it. No complaints here! Loads of flavor and texture, it was perfect. My husband's daughter ordered the quinoa lunch bowl with salmon and she could have taken half of it home, the portion was big. She enjoyed her choice and we agreed we would stop again sometime. Wish there was a Westville in my hometown!

This place was excellent and it met all our expectations for a wonderful Saturday brunch! We were quickly seated and our hostess was very friendly. Our server, Kristina, and the runners were excellent. We ordered the Argentinian Benedict, pancake breakfast, and bagel with broccoli and tofu. Everything was very good. It’s also a nice setting, especially in the sunroom on the side! This place has a good vibe and great service! Great options including vegetarian and locally sourced foods.

Came here for brunch in Dumbo. The place is modern and sleek looking with a nice bar area. There is a heavy focus on vegetables here and you can go for a market plate with a choice of a number of veggies. My husband went for kale polenta, lentils and tahini cauliflower. There are also a range of other dishes available including meat and fish. I had the Argentinian rice bowl, which came with chorizo and lots of veg - it was pretty tasty. My coffee wasn't great though - it tasted pretty sour. The female staff here were nice but our male waiter came across as rather moody. It's not especially fancy food-wise but tasty and up-to-date, so good for a vegetable-packed lunch especially if you are after somewhere modern.

Wow! What a great little find (completely by accident) when wandering around Brooklyn. We’ve been in the states for a month and desperately craving vegetables/healthy food and we found it here!! I ordered the Market Plate Veges with grilled salmon and it was divine. To start with, the serving was MASSIVE!! And the veges were cooked to perfection and just delicious. Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli and butternut pumpkin. It was seriously one of the best meals I’ve had since being over here and the only disappointing thing is we discovered it toward the end of our trip. The staff were friendly, the decor and atmosphere very funky and the music was great. I’ll be highly recommending this place to anyone visiting Brooklyn/New York. Thank you for an amazing meal and great service!

Me and my friends had a good lunch here during a hot day. The terrace is very nice and perfect for a meal outside. The menu has good diversity and a lot of combination to choose from. I had the salmon with sweet potatoes and some green beans. Also the salads look and taste very good.

After reading a recommendation decided to pop in for early dinner before heading back into Manhatten. Friendly staff. Happy hour drinks between 4pm and 6pm so had a Cosmo and run and coke. To eat I had the beer battered cod and first which was a huge portion and amazing crunchy fries and what looked like homemade coleslaw. My other half had the grilled salmon with sweet potato wedges and a mixture of kale, spinach and scallions. We shared the gluten free carrot cake. Omg it was amazing. Do moist and frosted icing not sickly like some carrots cake I've tried. Reasonably priced. All came to $80 for 2 mains, 3 drinks and a cake.

Chicken, as well as the steak sandwich’s were fantastic. Friendly staff and nice aesthetics. Fair price. Check out the blueberry crumble and ice cream.

When my girlfriend and I walked around Brooklyn, we saw this little hole in a wall bar/restaurant which also had an outside patio area and so we decided to our happy hour. The place was very beautiful and the ambiance made me welcomed to this beautiful city. Their happy hour was very reasonable and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this to everyone 👍🏼👍🏼

Just got back home from having lunch at WV Dumbo, with my family. This was probably our 15th time going, decided not to have a sandwich but one of their large plates. Chicken cutlets with 2 veggie sides. Deelish!!! My wife only had the Mexican style corn and daughter had a hot dog. Great menu, service, food and outdoor dining.

Was looking for a good restaurant in Dumbo and this hit the spot. Food choice and service was outstanding. Only time on holiday that all plates went back empty.

We arrived late-morning for brunch. The welcome was warm and friendly, service was efficient and the choice of dishes on the menu was good. My partner chose eggs benedict with chorizo and I had the baked pancake with fresh fruit and syrup. We both enjoyed our choices – relatively simple dishes that were well-executed. It was a fine, sunny day so we chose a table in the garden, which was very pleasant. Everything was good and there was nothing to fault with our experience of this restaurant. Highly recommended based on our visit.

Group of friends enjoyed a meal here before a sunset walk across the bridge. Service was friendly and prompt, local beer on tap, good menu of upscale comfort food. We enjoyed the cod, salmon, and gazpacho. There was a broad choice of vegetables to make a vegetable plate. Servings were generous. The beets with walnuts and goat cheese were excellent but the Brussels sprouts were undercooked and inedible. We had a great time visiting with locals too. Recommended.

We stopped by for a drink whilst visiting Brooklyn. Got a seat in the garden- what a great suntrap! Lovely friendly service and good recommendations made. Exactly like I had hoped a Brooklyn bar to be!

Fantastic dinner in the heart of Dumbo, the position is perfect and the food and service are really great, the price is absolutely right and I really suggest it.

My cousin recommended this place for lunch, after we'd been sightseeing around Brooklyn. I got the turkey burger and it was very good. Everyone else was happy with their good. Prices were extremely reasonable (everyone thinks all of NY is so overpriced!), food was good, service was great!

Very fast service and the food is delicious. We had the turkey burger and the southwestern bowl. Both very good portion sizes. We actually couldn’t believe how fast the meals were served especially with how busy it was.

Solid food and an inviting, cheerful atmosphere. It's a great place during good weather -- there are several options for outdoor seating. The food is fresh and fine, if unspectacular. The staff is welcoming and eager to please.

Stumbled into this place after walking on the Brooklyn Bridge. Beautiful restaurant. Had breakfast. Tasted good!

While walking in Dumbo we came across this eatery - OMG...such a treat! Lucky us: were seated right away in their patio..Wonderful staff....... Lovely wine list and the food..............whoa, whoa!!!! To be ordered...roasted veggies, truffle fries, fish w/ mixed greens.. Will need to go back there for more of their so delicious and healthy items

The soup of the day (potato, bacon and cheese) was delicious and the portion is generous. The fried fish sandwich was also fantastic, everything very fresh and tasty. I recommend!

We had a lovely time at Westville DUMBO. First time in Brooklyn, we were seated quickly, staff was wonderful and food really good. Highly recommend!

Loved finding a place with so many healthy options and fresh vegetables to choose from. Everything was delicious and most things were naturally gluten-free.

We went for a Sunday brunch after a recommendation from our concierge and we're so glad we did. We all agreed it was the best breakfast we had had in New York and we went to some great places. 3 of us are vegetarian and the market vegetable platter was fantastic all the veg were uniquely done, cauliflower with tahini was a highlight. Being a meat eater myself I had the Argentine eggs Benedict which has layers of chorizo, great potato cakes under perfect eggs and hollandaise presented beautifully with rocket salad and tomatoes. Service was excellent and sitting outside all helped make the place a 5 star experience.

What a great restaurant! The food is fresh, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. We loved the choices of vegetables available on the menu. We had salmon with cauliflower, parmesan artichokes and mushrooms. Delicious!!

I love westville! Fresh ingredients with attention to quality and taste. I’ve been a fan since they opened one that delivered to my apartment in Manhattan years ago and the quality is still spot on with multiple locations. The market plate is amazing if you’re trying to eat healthy. Their sandwiches and burgers are great. The stars for me are the grilled cheese (with tomato!) and the Mac and cheese. I don’t know what they do to their Gouda but it is to die for. Skip the Caesar (sad!) and I didn’t love their veggie chili (sad) but everyone I’ve ever taken there has loved their meal.

We literally walked up to this restaurant while looking for the market shops. Took a look at the diverse well-priced dinner menu and made a reservation. (Recommend if you're in the area on a weekend - otherwise prepare for line-ups!) Arrived back and were greeted by a delightful server who explained the menu well and made a few suggestions to help with our choices. Food was fresh, delicious and hot. Service was excellent! Great meal! Relaxed atmosphere.

Good service, fresh products, cooked well. Overall great expirience. I can recomend this and intend to return in the future.

We went here on a Friday morning, managing to avoid the usual crowds. Due to the nice weather, we sat in the back courtyard, which had a very cute layout. I ordered the egg scramble with chorizo, spinach and tomatoes, while my friend went for the breakfast burrito. The freshly squeezed orange juice was also delicious! Both meals were large in size and tasted great. Really great prices as well.

Great food, good vibe, excellent service. We went for a very late lunch / early dinner at 4pm as we were having a wander around Dumbo. Chicken strips as an appetiser followed by fish and chips and a burger. The portion sizes are right (not the usual American super-sized portions!). Definitely will be going back here or to another Westville in Manhattan. Well done Westville :)

After our almost 3 yo was zonked from playing at Recess, we headed to W’ville for lunch at 1130pm. We ate under the skylight and were the only ones out there which was nice. A friend visiting from California was my lunch date as well. The food is always good, quick and not too pricey. This my/our 10th time at least visiting so it’s a sure bet you’ll get good service too. We had a hot dog/fries for my daughter, my friend has huevos rancheros which looked absolutely deelish and I had a crab burger with spicy mayo. Didn’t have time to take pics, but others have. They serve 3 meals a day and all is the die for. Go!!!!

Stopped here on a rainy day in Brooklyn and didn’t regret it. Had the California Benedict, which I think was the best breakfast I’ve had this year. Food was outstanding, service was very good and prices were reasonable. Would recommend to all.

Delicious healthy food, lovely service and a reasonable price. We were lucky and did not need to queue, however others after us had to wait for a table.

We booked a table for four via Opentable for New Years Eve as we planned to watch the fireworks from Brooklyn Bridge. We chose the Westville because it got great reviews and had a good menu for us all and booked it from the UK two weeks in advance. Unfortunately the resturant cancelled by email on 30 Dec as they decided to close at 4-00pm. As we were in transit in the middle of the Atlantic we didn't get the email. The first we knew was when we turned up at 9pm. Not many places taking walk ins on New Years Eve at that time, but at least the view of Manhatton was great as we walked back over the Bridge. I've scored the experience a 3* as I've no idea what it would have been like.

Good selection of veggie (with meat if you want) dishes and cakes, friendly service and good location close to the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridgeheads.

Fantastic selection of market vegetables. We loved the artichokes and the garlic mashed potatoes. There's also a good choice of non-veggie if you crave something different.

Great restaurant just over Brooklyn Bridge. Great variety of healthy food options and super tasty. We did offset with truffle fries which were to die for!

My family and I have been coming since it opened, the food and service has been great. However, we ate this evening (4/28/25) and something seemed to be off. Can only assume the staff turnover has been high, since level of service has diminished. Our server, wearing a black doo-rag didn’t seem appropriate for a family oriented restaurant, as I have brought my family here for many a lunch/dinner. Plus he didn’t stop by to see if I wanted another beer, I wanted an Other Half on draft but you guys were out and initially ordered a Lagunitas. I had your cheesesteak on a hoagie roll as it reads on the specials menu. 1. It doesn’t read open-faced, so basically it’s half a quite dry hoagie roll and opened-faced sandwich. 2. “Homemade Provolone Cheese”, I don’t believe it’s made in house, sorry! 3. There were no peppers in the open-faced sandwich as well, which it reads on the specials menu. I’d order the “Cheesesteak with The Works” hands down at Front St Pizza any day. Learn from them!!! When asked for a side of mayonnaise, it looked like string cheese on a small plate not a ramekin as it should. I’ve been working in hospitality for over 30 years, so maybe it was just an off night!!! My wife had the Turkey chili and my daughter had the burger.

Excellent place in Dumbo. Tasty food at very reasonable prices. Great choice and good service. Overall highly recommended.

Some very tasty dishes. Sesame crusted salmon. Avocado soft shell tacos. Yummy fries with PARM and get the chipotle dipping sauce. What great is after dinner turn right head towards the river make a left st the walking path and enjoy amazing views of nyc east side. Gorgeous.

Had dinner at Westville the other night while staying in Brooklyn. Lots of options in area, and Westville should be in top of list. Fresh, healthy options, and GREAT SERVICE!! Service was MUCH better than some of the more expensive places in Dumbo area.

Came here during our four days trip in NYC while we were in the area. I ordered a beyond burger and my bf ordered a fish sandwich. Everything was so delicious there was nothing to fault. The fries were good, fish sandwich tasted fresh, salad was excellent, and lastly the beyond burger was really good. It tasted like an actual burger meat Patty. If I were to visit nyc again I'll definitely come back to this place :)

This restaurant has been a nice surprise. Atmosphere is cool, waiters are nice and welcoming, prices are decent and food is frankly good, with a hipster / vegan twist. It's only a few hundred meters away from the Brooklyn Bridge.

We were a party of four and a baby and we were well pleased with our food and service. The food was well prepared and presented. Happy hour was useful for the drinks too. Enjoy !

My son loves butternut squash and this is the only restaurant that we found that had it on the menu. We were headed to Brooklyn anyway, so decided to eat, drink and unwind. The food and service were great, as was the decor, and the vibe of the thriving Dumbo Brooklyn neighborhood. You will not be disappointed, and in front of Westville Dumbo you'll see one of the most spectacular views from the Brooklyn side of the Manhattan Bridge.

A great place for lunch or a casual dinner in DUMBO. Yummy food, lots of options, including for vegetarians. Good for people with allergies too. Very good service, they were kind and attentive. Good aircon, but the seating is a bit uncomfortable (seats were hard wooden). It wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday afternoon

A very welcoming place with kind and friendly staff. I had a great fried chicken and avocado sandwich. Average prices.

We had spent the day walking around FiDi & then across the Brooklyn Bridge. We made it to the Brooklyn Bridge Park for photos and decided to grab a drink in this bar. Lucky for us it was also Happy Hour! We ended up staying for dinner as the food coming out looked amazing! We were not disappointed. I had the grilled salmon with garlic mash and buk choy, and my husband had the crumbed chicken cutlet with garlic mash and peas with bacon - you could choose which two vegetable sides to have and there were heaps to choose from (my photos may not look appetising but I promise you it was absolutely delicious!) I was so glad to finally eat something that wasn't pasta or pizza or laden with cheese. The salmon was perfect and fresh and the veggies were spot on. We paid $37 for dinner - very affordable for two and just delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Stopped in for lunch after going to the Pirate Ship Park near by. It’s great that these guys are in our neighborhood, our 12th visit, food is always good, they changed some their items like the chicken Reuben etc... This time I had the steak sandwich, my wife had the fish n chips and 3 y o had a grilled cheese. I tried their gazpacho, seemed more like tomato sauce with diced veggies. Was hoping for real blended fresh tomatoes. They had 2 flatscreens for the World Cup, nice added touch. Thanks for coming to our neighborhood.

Great brunch and breakfast option! Enjoyed the BBQ brisket benedict special while my wife enjoyed a hesrty kale salad. Lots of delicius options to choose from. Was packed from the moment we arrived until we left. Clearly a great neighborhood spot in DUMBO!

A lovely cafe, with a cosy inside yard. We stoped here for cold refreshing drinks after a long walk on Brooklyn Bridge. It’s just 5min walk away and really stands out vs numerous plasticky fast food chains in this area. Stuff is friendly too

What a great place to have a delightful brunch with friends ! The neighborhood is amazing, with a great view on the Brooklyn Bridge and the New York Skyline. Others restaurants are WAY to expensive but the Westville Dumbo keeps its prices low enough. The food is very good, high quality and the place is beautiful. Good staff too !

Friends of mine who live in Vinager Hill took me to Westville for some fast casual food. It was casual and not expensive but not very fast. It is a noisy busy place with an outdoor eating area. The menu is interesting and varied and focuses on vegetables and several vegan options as well as several non vegan items. The food was basically good although not exceptional but service was painfully slow. Fortunately we were not in a hurry but they weren't busy and it shouldn't take 3/4 hour to get a meal when the place was half empty.

If I could give this restaurant a rating higher than 5 I would. The food was fresh and very well prepared. We tried many of the vegetable entrees and they were delicious! We will go back.

Really like this restaurant in DUMBO. We had some salads and vegetables. Our 1 year-old also really liked these. Good beer selection as well

Wandering round DUMBO and happened on this cafe which has umbrella shaded picnic benches in the adjacent courtyard. The planter boxes would benefit from some TLC. The service was friendly and efficient without rushing us and the waitress was happy to provide menu advice. Our orders arrived promptly, the mint lemonade was a big hit. Nobody seems to serve Coke Zero in the US so that was expected. We split an appetiser and main which was the perfect amount of lunch for us. Food was freshly made and well seasoned. Smokey mac n cheese based on previous reviews and then the chilli dog special with chilli, cheese and grilled onion. Reasonable price of less than US50 including the tip. NYC not always that cheap for a table service restaurant.

We went here for a late brunch on a weekend. It's certainly a popular place - we had to wait for 20+ minutes. But once we got in, the food, cocktails and service was very enjoyable. particularly enjoyed their side plates of veggies!

Awesome place. Delicious food. Beautiful outdoor seating. SUPER careful with me regarding my celiac disease. So appreciate the extra effort!! Our waitress was amazing and I feel sad-I cannot recall her name!!

A delicious lunch in Westville, excellent service. Staff were fun and friendly and service was great! Highly recommend the vegetable plate - but it's a whole lot of food - so come hungry! The beets with goats cheese were delicious! Husband would recommend the hot dogs he had!!

This is definitely a must try restaurant. The variety of fresh market vegetables is what separates this restaurant from the rest. Get the market platter of veggies of your choice and add a protein if you wish. A very flavorful meal.

Found this little gem after walking the Brooklyn bridge - staff are delightful - good food choices - reasonable prices - I’d go again

Sought somewhere to eat in Brooklyn and chose Westville based upon the TripAdvisor reviews. Delighted with our choice. Staff very friendly, nice menu. Could not recommend the burger highly enough...delicious! Better half loved the steak. Both had desserts, Apple pie and Chocolate molten cake...heavenly. Happy hour 5-7 was a bonus....pitcher of beer for $24 and all signature cocktails $10 on Tuesday. Great spot in Brooklyn.

After a long day walking the Brooklyn Bridge, through Manhattan and return, we sought a place to get off our feet and enjoy a meal. Did we find the right location! Westville Dumbo was a pleasant surprise. We were seated at an outdoor picnic table, sharing the table with other guests. Although the service was rather direct and less personal, we were extremely satisfied with the salads. The market sides are a nice touch as we enjoyed kale and asparagus. If in the area, give this place a try!

My boyfriend and I did the Manhattan bridge Brooklyn bridge tour and wanted to get something healthy so we stumbled upon this great place. I eat mostly vegetarian so this was heaven for me. I had a seasonal salad and my boyfriend opted for the market place plate. The dish consists of 4 different items. These items can be chosen from a large variety of different vegetables, fries or potatoes. He chose artichokes, zucchini, cauliflower and fries. The portions were big so if you are not that hungry you might wanna share. He also had a watermelon margarita and loved it. So for those of you who are into clean and healthy eating... this is the place to go.

Unreal food! Friendly, helpful staff. Honestly cannot wait to go back!!! He crispy fish sandwich was the best fish I’ve ever tried 😍I’m just gutted they didn’t have WiFi as I was a solo traveller, looking for directions once I’d eaten. Thankful the waitress was so helpful and directed me in the right direction.

I was craving vegetables after so many dinners out while traveling to NYC and this was the perfect place. They have a nice outdoor patio and so many choices of vegetables with added meat or fish options if desired. Best healthy meal of the trip.

Title says it all. We came to watch the World Cup for brunch and had a great time. Great service, good food, drinks, and even the coffee was good.

We found this place by walking by and it was a best decision to step in and have a late brunch:) We had delicious Burger and California Eggs Benedict which was amazing 😊 Shalea (not sure about spelling) gave as a great service with a nicest & warmest smile 😊

Westville is one of a chain of similar restaurants, this one provided a very good vegetarian lunch bowl in DUMBO revitalization district. I got the "harvest bowl," which was a combination of quinoa plus artichokes & mushrooms (you make choices from several combination options). It was pretty good, as was the pecan pie dessert.

We found this restaurant while walking around DUMBO. We all loved the food and the service. Great setting, fun spot, highly recommend Westville.

Be warned; getting a table for brunch here is something like a sport and can be a long wait and very competitive. However its fantastic food, its got a Mexican flair to it, the crab burger is unreal. Its on rotation as one of my go - to for brunch for sure.

We stopped here for breakfast. The food was good (I had the California Benedict), but our bill for 2 people was $60, which I thought was very expensive.

Food was amazing, and service was wonderful as well. We ordered Westville Cobb salad and it was made from fresh salad and full of bacon, blue cheese, avocado, and chicken.

This is a popular restaurant in the DUMBO area. The food is quite good, the service is just average. Nice outdoor seating area.

We visited in august. It's a wonderful place. The food is very good with great service. Recommended.

As we are locals, WV DUMBO, is our go to when we want to have brunch, lunch or dinner. They have an outdoor deck and courtyard that faces Washington St. When they first opened, we were one of the first patrons and have loved going back. During the holiday season, a group from Vt., sell Xmas trees, as well we got to them each year as well. The food is always satisfying and good selection of adult beverages.

We have been ordering in at least once a week since Westville opened in Dumbo (with occasional restaurant visits, as well). Their specials are always amazing, as are the market sides. I cannot get enough of their smoky mac & cheese. Deliveries are speedy. And, the drinks at the restaurant are great. They just expanded their outdoor seating. A true gem in the neighborhood for simple, but delicious food.

We went there for a late brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The food is okay, nothing bad, but nothing impressive. The service, however, is disappointing. Upon arrival, the receptionist combined two table that can sit 4. We are in a group of 5, so she put another chair on the side of one table. When we asked if she could combine the next available table so that we could sit more comfortably as a group, she did not reject our idea, but she also did not offer to help. We actually had to move the table on our own. The service from our waitress, is also disappointing and unprofessional. Upon ordering, we asked some simple questions regarding the Brunch menu. To our surprise, her answers were pretty generic. It seemed like she did not fully understand the brunch menu. I have waited tables before, so I understand sometimes the wait staff just could not remember all items on the menu, or maybe she is new so she has not got enough experience to give recommendations. Not a big deal! However, when she delivered the dishes, she simply put all plates on one side of the table and asked us to pass around. The most unprofessional part happened before we were about to leave. After we signed and authorized our credit card receipt with tips, she took them off the table with her even before we left. She was even looking at the tips while walking back. Very very unprofessional. The attitude of the staff here is disappointing. I encourage the manager to look into this matter seriously.

I went there a few nights ago with my parents. Such a warm and welcoming place. The food is rich with local veggies that are so fresh. Food was great as was the atmosphere. It seemed that a lot of locals go there to eat at the bar and mingle with each other, So friendly. Cant wait to go back again.

Food took 40minutes to come. Wasn’t worth the wait since it gets the award for the blandest food I have ever eaten in my life goddamn.

We had walked over Brooklyn bridge and spotted Westville courtyard So gorgeous We had some wine and snacks sat watching the world go by It was happy hour so even better Lovely staff , so friendly Totally recommend

Great place for breakfast. Food was a little cold but all in all really tasty and lots of good options for vegans and non-vegans. The latte was so awesome I had to have a second.

Ate here on a recommendation from a local - totally understand why he recommended it. Along with some classics were a few 'twists'- we had Argentinian Eggs Benedict, served on hash browns rather than muffin, with some excellent chorizo. The smoked salmon bagel was fresh and delicious. Easily accessible from the Brooklyn Bridge exit into Dumbo.

Having been to two other Westvilles in Manhattan, we decided to try Dumbo. As much as I like the others, thus one was even better - bigger, more own, friendlier, very safe. We had our temperatures checked before entering and sat outside at a cozy table under 2 heat lamps. The food was good as always and the servers were super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the Mexican bowl special, grilled artichokes, fish sandwich/truffle Parmesan fries - perfectly done, veggie burger/regular fries and the BBQ cauliflower (a little sweet for me). Ice teas, Arnold Palmer, and a glass of white wine finished as out. Four thumbs up!

A pretty cool place to have our lunch at following our walk over Brooklyn bridge. The whole of dumbo is calm and cool and the kind of place I could see the stars going to to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Lovely food and brilliant service as well.

Chanced upon this place during a visit to DUMBO. What a find. The fish sandwich was delicious as was my wife’s prawn salad. Service was excellent too and all very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Found this fabulous place when sight seeing in DUMBO. Went as a family of four and all enjoyed our meals. Good choice of vegetarian meals and choices of size portions. Would high recommend

Next to dumbo we ate very well Salad at the top chicken tenders to finish two excellent cookies and coffee for a good value Award Go ahead with your eyes closed

Visited this evening for some drinks before going to watch the sunset at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The place is really light and airy and has some great decoration. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from two members of staff being the bar. Would love to visit again and taste the beetroot and goats cheese (one of my favourite combinations).

Best chicken sandwich I ever had. Even better than a beef burger. Also the salad was very good. The combination of the tender and crispy chicken, the spiced and sweet sauce made it a perfect combination. Rest of the family had a martlet plate with vegetables and also enjoyed that. Great place to eat, highly recommend.

Very good place for lunch with original and varied dishes! Server Diego top!!! Cooked vegetable dishes, homemade drinks and the unmissable burger!

Didn't even know there is this place, since we reached in Washington st. after so many selfies we ran into this place and it was superb. Food ,atmosphere , staff ... everything was great . Little crowded but still great. Choose terrace over indoor part. :)

Good cakes, terrible service. Abusive. While visiting the area, we took a break for food and drinks. We found this place and entered. We ordered coffee and dessert. The service was rude, discourteous and abusive. The staff is mechanized or automated. They don't think, they don't feel and they don't care who they serve. The desserts we tried were very good. Passable coffee. Nothing special.

We came in with colleagues, were told to wait for table and we did. More people started coming in after us and waiting , when after 15 min waiting one of the tables got free hostess just took the group that came much later and sat them there... when we told that we were before, they just replied “oh sorry, you have to wait 15 min more as we already sat them”. Nope, it was your mistake and you should’ve apologized that group and not us. We wasted 30 min of our lunch break time for Westville and ended up eating sandwiches in the office, definitely not coming back, I get that people make mistakes , but it’s more about how you handle them after and in this case personnel showed no wish to correct anything.

The beef burger was not bad. The meat patty was very thick. The chicken wing in BBQ sauce was also okay. The skin was very crispy. The fries are great! M Please spare some waiting time for the food however.

There are slim pickings for dining options near St Ann’s Warehouse and Westville is the best of a mediocre bunch. Cocktails tend toward over-iced and weak, but the carnitas rice bowl was tasty and salmon was very good. Service is efficient. We’ll be back

We have had a very good lunch in the patio area. We’ve eaten a delicious salad and a tasty burrito. Staff is really nice. I recommend to book a table in advance.

Potentially nice place with good menu Too bad the rudeness towards groups, especially with children. The manager tried in every way to discourage us by proposing only the outside despite the cold and the children to make us leave If you can just stay away...

Been here numerous times, a very homey feel to it. They have a great local beer selection on draught. Service is attentive and caring especially with our 2 y.o. They take their time and we don't feel rushed. Breakfast is also rather yummy. Get there early as it tends to fill up quick.

We started off with their variety of vegetables in a platter for 4. Oh my, the beets, the mushrooms, the brussels sprouts, the cauliflower!! I ordered the fish and chips that is perch! I should have gone with the crispy fish instead (too much fried breading!!). But the perch was fantastic! All of their entrees are GREAT. Superb service. Full bar! Not too noisy. There is great seating outside also, if the weather is nice.

This place was really fantastic and the meal had a variety of different types of food to cover the health conscious. Enjoyed it very much as did my party.

We grabbed dinner here, and overall the food was very good, I’m not sure it was special but it was good. Healthy portion sizes. Pro tip: ask for the patio out back!

Friendly staff, very friendly who warmly welcomes you 👌👍🙏👏👏👏. The burgers were 😇👌, and the service efficient.

Fresh, healthy and tasty food in NYC, Brooklyn Dumbo, nice terrace full of fans, we had a great lunch break, go for it without hesitation

Really enjoyed the vegan quinoa burger and chicken sandwich. So glad we stumbled upon this place next to the Dumbo Recess play centre.

Westville is a good place to eat, good menu choices. Something for everyone here, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great location, food served quickly with efficient staff happy to help. Would definitely recommend, most times you can get a seat as it’s fairly good for that but you can also be seated at the bar.

We were in the Dumbo area touring with 10 family members. We were hungry and picked a GREAT pizza place but the line was around the block! Opened the TripAdvisor app and searched nearby for a restaurant. Headed over to Westville Dumbo and had a great lunch. They were very accommodating for our large party. We would definitely eat here again.

A few minutes from the Brooklyn Bridge, a very nice place with an outdoor space in a courtyard. Large variety of salads, possibility to compose your own bowl, hamburgers, grilled salmon and more. Quick and courteous service. Prices slightly below the New York average

So glad we stumbled across this place. Great healthy food, great value and the best meal we have had in NYC

I went to this restaurant (in heart of Dumbo) as the only vegetarian, with 4 meat eating friends. We all loved the food, with decent portions & great atmosphere. They also do gluten free & vegan meals here. Highly recommend

This was a great find on a rainy day. Excellent service, not just from our server but the entire team who made sure we were always satisfied. The atmosphere was pleasant. The menu had a lot of choices and I thoroughly enjoyed the turkey chili and turkey burger. The health tea was a nice drink on a rainy day.

Very good food, possibility of brunch, quick service with friendly waiters, warm place located next to the bridge.

Located in the heart of Dumbo next to the famous view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was superb. Would highly recommend.

Had a very tasty share plate of vegetarian options, enjoyed by all. With some tasty cocktails led to an enjoyable lunch. Great spot in the fun Dumbo hood. Roasted brussell sprouts and beet salad were fantastic

Outstanding eatery in DUMBO serving fresh, high-quality food. We made a reservation for brunch. There is a nice outdoor covered patio area, but we chose to eat in the charming dining room. The Breakfast Burrito was excellent. The menu offers a wide selection of choices, and the restaurant is great if you need to be gluten free with plenty of options available. Service was professional and helpful. Can't say enough good things. I'm looking forward to returning here the next time I'm in the DUMBO neighborhood.

This place was great. We stumbled upon this while we were strolling around the city and it was such a nice find. We’d eaten so well in New York and found some great places but we were in need of some healthy, fresh vegetables. This place was fantastic - really tasty, friendly staff and lovely environment. Definitely recommend this place for a health lunch.

Place is simple and pretty. Food is extremely well crafted and fast. Healthy and really delicious. Price to quality ratio is very good

What a delightful find! My husband and I had just walked the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan and happened up this restaurant. Everything about it is just super. The food choices are plentiful and are absolutely delicious. My husband had the Armenian rice bowl and I had the lemon marinated chicken with two market vegetables. Both were excellent, and we felt it was one of the best meals we had on our entire weeklong stay in NYC. The staff is very warm & friendly as well as efficient. We were there mid-afternoon and had no trouble getting a table, but at busy times you might want to check about a reservation because I'm sure they get full!

This little gem was right in the midst of Dumbo, a great find, a short walk from the exit of Brooklyn Bridge. Food was fresh and amazing. Good choices for vegetarians and vegans. Also recommend the Pink Lemonade very refreshing after the walk! Staff were great and atmosphere lovely and relaxing!

My siblings and I were visiting family and friends in New York. As we were going to a show at just around the corner we booked at Westville for an early dinner. It was amazing. The staff was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of food was great, incredible veggies, lots and lots of choices, all delicious and extremely reasonable priced. Highly highly recommend this one!

Went Sunday at 11:30 and were seated right away ( they don’t take brunch reservations). I ordered the bowl of melon & berries with the addition of yogurt. Can’t imagine how paltry the portion of food would’ve been without the yogurt; also, no berries, only tiny pieces of honeydew. My daughter ordered an egg dish that had the option of a small salad or potato hash; she opted for the salad but was served the ‘hash’, which looked like dried potatoes made with too much liquid, basically inedible. Not sure we’ll return.

Tried this place after walking around Brooklyn-we apparently beat the rush because it quickly got packed. Tables are extremely close to each other and exiting the bench seat can become a little tricky. We both had veggie bowls which were large portions (we both took leftovers home) and packed with ingredients. Very satisfying food. Friendly servers and attentive service make this a nice place to stop.

Ran into this place while wandering on a sunset walk in Dumbo. Nice atmosphere, good food with a large choice of fresh sauteed vegetables and delightful service. A great find.

This is a nice little place that is, I believe, part of a group of restaurants. The menu offers a great variety which satisfied an array of eating styles- burgers, salads, multiple vegetarian/vegan options, sandwiches. Portions are generous. Very casual environment. There are a couple of different dining spaces; we found the climate control pretty variable although the restaurant was very accommodating to our request to change tables.

We were craving healthy food big time after 3wks of travelling in the states. Other places advertised as healthy but Westville Dumbo understands truly what that means. Fresh, delicious produce was only served. We loved our meals. And the happy hour snacks & cocktails. Thanks guys 🙏🏽

My family of five visited and had a splendid breakfast. We showed up at 9:30 on a holiday Monday and were given a table immediately. The wait-staff were very curious and attentive. The breakfast menu had many egg-themed choices as well as fruit and granola. Two of our party had the egg scramble which were scrumptious. One chose to have fruit as a side. The bowl of berries was enormous and wonderful. Another had the homemade granola bowl with fruit. The portion was quite generous. Another had the burrito with three eggs and chorizo and stuff inside-delicious. The side spinach-y salad had a very tasty dressing. We loved the food and the ambiance was perfect - just what we would expect from a cafe in DUMBO. All-in-all, a great meal. We’ll go again.

Wasn't blown away by the food, and it's a bit pricey for me, but a good place to eat down in DUMBO. I solely come back for the mac & cheese. Service was OK, waiter was accommodating to our requests.

Gorgeous brunch! Really attentive sraff (in a good way), lovely food. We were staying nearby, looked for a good brunch place nearby and Westville didn't disappoint!

Gorgeous quaint cafe/bistro with equally charming staff. Breakfast menu was in abundance with choices and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted to customise. The staff were friendly, hugely accommodating and efficient. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting, and most importantly exceptionally clean. Would highly recommend - 5 stars.

Morning brunch. Miserable staff who just kept passing us around. No one looked after us at all... We ordered a granola yoghurt dish it came without the granola and no apology for missing it out. My eggs were greasy and the bacon looked and tasted like it was old . It was dry and over cooked. The server knew I was going to make a sandwich but didn’t tell me the bread was made for midgets.. each slice took two bites to eat. Not one server smiled or apologised for anything. No WIFI either!!! Avoid this place.

Why is it you find a fabulous place to eat, the day you’re leaving? 😃 We stumbled across Westville, in Dumbo after searching for a place to eat breakfast. Really impressed with the variety and size of the portions. I had the veggie burger, and my wife had the scrambled eggs (substituted gluten-free bread as well) The freshly made tea was perfect too. Great service as well. Wish we had found this place earlier.

After a cycling tour we ended up in Brooklyn and found this rather small place by accident. It was very busy but the waitress arranged some seats at the bar. We had a fantastic lunch here with a breakfast burrito, a salmon salad and a special burger. All plates were just great! Lovely draft beer: Blue Point. And what a friendly service!

We needed somewhere to grab lunch after a busy morning and this was ideal! The food was fresh and delicious with plenty of choice.

Maybe an unrecognised gem in Dumbo. Very nice food, great service, enjoyable atmosphere. A bit cramped at the table but other than that couldn't fault, highly recommended.

My husband and i love coming here for dinner. There's a nice choice of protiens with market veggies, and they change their specials daily. Happy hour till 8, and the outdoor courtyard is really nice. Service is generally ok, although can be a but lacking at times. Everyone is very friendly, just not always attentive.

Great food, had the Cobb and it was gigantic and fresh and delicious. The truffle fries were awesome, best french fries I've had in years. A great lemonade, everyone enjoyed their selections.

Was in Brooklyn for a week. Ate here four times. That, really, is all I need to say. Service, ambience and food is excellent. Whatever I ate to get over jet lag on Sunday morning was so good I had to return. (Something with eggs, it was good, but I was **tired**, I can't remember) Even if you *think* you'd like to grab a sandwich from somewhere and eat nearer the waterfront, don't. Go here. You won't regret it.

During a work trip I went twice to this restaurant, one day for breakfast, another day for lunch and both experiences were great! Good service, great food! highly recommended.

Menu is chocked full of vegetables - if you're into that sort of thing, enjoy your avocado toast. If you want a real meal - it's not the place. You're stuck with overpriced hamburger or hot dogs. The mulled wine, however -- pretty good. Apple & blueberry pie wasn't half bad either.

This place serves hamburgers and market plates with fresh vegetables - all of which is very yummy. Moreover the have a kids menu that made our offspring happy... The ambiance is quiet and there is enough light to read the menu (something that is not too often seen in NYC...)

A great spot for breakfast in dumbo. It was easy to get in on a Saturday at 11 AM during the summer. I had the California Benedict with salmon and it was hearty meal that held me for several hours walking around Brooklyn.

Great food, great choice. Healthy options, nice ambience.great location on Washington Street, with view of the Manhatten Bridge.

Enjoyed a great meal here. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We made it in time for happy hour would definitely recommend the Margaritas. Well worth a visit.

We stumbled upon this restaurant just after crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and it was a really fine surprise. It seemed more like a local eating spot than a touristic place, which we found rather nice. The outdoor tables are a lovely place to eat and are often shared - which was really fun for us, being tourists, because we were able to sit with a New Yorker and spend our lunch chatting with him about the city (and he gave us some really nice tips!). The dishes are really good and the prices are compatible. I would surely recommend it for anyone visiting Brooklyn - it is a walking distance from the end of the bridge and it's also really close from the park where you can get a stunning view of Manhattan.

Taking over an hour plus for delivery and over 30 mintues past when it was supposed to be delived! No one contacted me and when I did call to find out where food was no one apologized and just said it would be coming soon. The food arrived cold and soggy -yuck!

It is a very nice decorated placed. The attention is excellent, although a little bit slow. The waiters are very kind. It also has a yard outside were you can eat. I will definetely recommend it!

Also excellent as an aperitif is a nice place very close to the Brooklyn Bridge. Friendly staff. Well worth a stop if you're in the area.

So pleased we gave this place a go! Everywhere in DUMBO was ridiculously crowded but this place had a spare table. I had the Quinoa & Kale Burger and my husband had the Vegan Hotdogs. For the meat eaters there is a huge choice. The staff were very friendly and the food delicious. We couldn’t resist the pecan pie but had to share as we were so full - it is by far the best thing I have ever tasted. The prices were really reasonable too. We would definitely make a special trip to Brooklyn to go back when we are in NYC again.

The food was just ok and the service was poor. We were here for breakfast. Eggs were overdone, kale salad needed seasoning, and the salsa in the burrito made it too soggy to pick up. The avocado toast and mint lemonade were the highlights. We had to flag down the server for more coffee and then she only filled one cup! The coffee was bitter and tasted like Folgers. Maybe the dinner is better. Disappointing. Was definitely expecting better.

Found this place on a whim; was searching for a vegetarian restaurant nearby and this one came up on my search bar. I'd never heard of it before but the menu pulled me in. Got there around 6pm during the week and the place was lively- full with two available tables. We didn't have a reservation but they still catered to us. They even switched our seats after we asked to be moved from the table by the door. I can't remember exactly what I ordered but my memory is telling me it was delicious! The food is so tasty that even those who eat meat said they enjoyed the vegetarian options. There's a patio that I saw from the inside. Only a few parties were dining since it was still a bit chilly out. To top it off, while I walked in I saw an actor. Yes, he and his partner were dining. I won't say much only that he has appeared in "True Blood", and other movies and series. I asked him for a picture and he was the sweetest guy in the world. He smiled with me and took several pics to ensure I got the best one. So yes, I'lll recommend the place: great food, friendly staff, attractive ambience, and you may just see an actor in the midst. P.S- Not sure about the price but it seems reasonable. My date tried to hide his surprise while he paid :)

In my one week holiday in New York I’ve been there twice. Place is beautiful, nice outside space. Staff very kind and helpful always smiling and I felt very comfortable in this restaurant. Food’s range high and good price. As a dairy intolerant I’ve always problem to eat out, but not here. I recommend Westville Dumbo to people who will enjoy the beautiful Brooklyn area.

I spotted this place online and made reservations for our trip to Brooklyn. We were seated promptly and drinks came quickly. I loved the choices of vegetables—as a vegetarian this was the reason I chose this restaurant. Unfortunately, 2 of my dishes on the market place (4 veggie choices) were just okay. I’m a huge beet fan but these were bland—my own recipe is much better. The zucchini was dull as well. I did enjoy the mushrooms and tofu. My daughter loved her Brussel sprouts and ate them all! It was good, but not great. Too bad!

We happened in here while walking around DUMBO and boy oh boy, did we hit the jackpot. Their menu is wonderfully diverse, so all of our varying palates were satisfied. I had the market plate, which is 4 of their dozen or so vegetable dishes. The pesto mashed potatoes were delectable, and the asparagus, green beans and broccoli were all prepared very differently. It was a delight. My friend is not a fan of the healthy selections and ordered fish and chips, which she loved. Another friend had salmon, which she said was the best she's ever had. Service is great, prices are moderate. I would definitely go back. In fact, I might make another trip to Brooklyn just to get that market plate again. Nothin' like it here in W. Pa. :(

So happy (and relieved) to come upon this place after doing some Brooklyn waterfront sightseeing with out-of-town guests. Even though the place was very busy, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of good comfort foods to choose from, as well as many vegetarian/vegan choices. Had the marinated steak sandwich which was delicious! The combination of the carmelized onions and the horseradish sauce made it super flavorful! All 3 different types of potatoes that we ordered - french fries, truffle parm fries, and smashed baked potato - were all great! Cobb salad was huge and filled with all good stuff! One of my guests was visiting from Italy and she is very particular (and skeptical) about getting coffee here in the states, and she gave their expresso 2 thumbs up! I would definitely recommend this place.

Not by the food, which was really good, but by the service. We weren’t greeted with any warmth at all by the lady on arrival, the server was also indifferent. This completely detracted from what was otherwise a decent meal. Also, there were no deserts available (we were told because it was a Sunday evening).

As an Australian finding what we would consider ‘normal’ food in the USA was difficult. Stumbling across what we would consider a pub, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable, ambiance great, it was cool after a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and surrounds, there was NZ Sauv Blanc. It was the whole experience, and the best food we’ve had in over a week. We even considered the hike back from Times Square for another meal it was so good! Well to us in any case it was great. Each meat came with the option of several vegetables!!!!!! Excellence all over

We stopped here for lunch and weren’t disappointed. Good and service was great.Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We were wandering around the Dumbo area last week feeling peckish but as it was early there weren’t many places open. We stumbled across this place and really glad we did. Lovely friendly people, quick service, tasty food. We both chose the omelettes..they were gorgeous...lots of different fillings available...you can choose three or pay a little extra for more. And all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Myself and my friends stumbled upon Westville as we about to start the walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. We had a tasty and warming coffee before we set off. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The atmosphere was great and people were coming and going for coffee and lunch! A must if in the Dumbo area.

After eating most of the week in Times Square, this place was an oasis of good food. Everything we ordered was good, service was crisp and kind. Really wish we had more food experiences like this, but alas, we were in the food black hole of NYC.

Had a Waggy Burger truffle fries and a side of broccoli and garlic was cooked perfectly. Excellent taste. Absolutely excellent...in every respect. Excellent service would come back again
Great food in DUMBO area. Could eat outside.
Ate there twice this week. Fish sandwich really good and market sides great choices. Service was good and you can eat outside.
