Great Atmosphere and a Nice Selection

We stopped in after a long day of traveling. The beers are solid and the barrel size tater tots are on point! I wish we lived in Texas as this would be a regular stop for us.

Don't get the Sausage!

By Cathie H |

We had bacon taco's which were great!! But... Some in our party had the sausage and it tasted very strange and caused GI upset🤢 the service was not great but they were very busy. We would go back but never get the Sausage again.

meh - hope it gets better!

We met some friends at WRabc last weekend. Was a beautiful day and we sat outside on the back patio. Service was average. Terrific beer menu. We wanted to like the food but it just isn't that great. The flatbread was...flat - not much taste at all. The Margherita was maybe the worst Margherita flatbread / pizza we've ever had. The Texas heat was mediocre at best. Pork buns looked amazing but were dry and not as tasty as they look. The bacon cheddar Tater kegs weren't bad...just overpriced for what you're getting. All that said we are local and hope the service and food gets better - we need more great places to eat / hang out in East Dallas. #lakecities

Love the Friday $8 burger

The Friday $8 burger with sweet potato fries was excellent, and teamed with the Mahalo Vibes tropical sour ale -was a great meal after a walk around the Lake.

Stopped for a beer

By Joey G |

I almost feel my review will be inadequate. We were visiting various breweries in town and by the time we got to White Rock we were pretty full of great Dallas foods and beers, so the beer at White Rock just wasn't going down as well as we had hoped. We ended up being one and done, but would have loved to stay longer. The service was fine and the food looked great, although the food was probably pretty typical fare for a brewpub, there appeared to be a few unique items offered. There was a good selection of house beers and a few options from other breweries. A nice patio to sit on as well. If we are ever in Dallas again I'd definitely stop by to try some of the great looking food and other beer options. All in all, a great place to grab a bite to eat and some good beer. Worth a visit.

Blah. Maybe good date night?

Some menu items were unavailable, which I can understand but when your menu is already small. That is annoying. Food took a long long time to come out then only part of our party was served. Those who did get their food, part of it was cold. Mixed drinks were not great either.

Is Gourmet Gastropub a thing?

By Yoyomanda |

Nice menu selections, good fries! variety of beer selections, although we wanted to try their beer from their own Brewery but they just started brewing. The waitress said they'll probably start serving in April 2018. It's a nicer place to watch a game during your meal, not your typical sports bar. It's like a gourmet gastropub.

Very good brewpub

By Matt S |

This microbrewery/brewpub isn't the easiest to get to, but once you do and park in the strip mall area, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere inside is open and inviting, yet not that loud even with the open ceilings. They did have a great beer selection, and I enjoyed my sampler. I ordered the Southwest skirt steak, and enjoyed that; the meal and beer made for a very good experience. Adding to it was my server Kyler, who was very knowledgeable about the beer, very friendly, and super efficient. Definitely a good beer and food stop!

Great Brew Pub

By GLG3 |

Went here with family to grab a quick beer and ended up staying for hours. The IPA had great flavor but was also light and fruit forward for an IPA. Sat on the porch with great music playing and we stayed for dinner. If you like a really good Ruben sandwich then the “Brewben” is for you it was excellent I might not ever try anything else it was that good. Great location Great beer Great food. What else do you need.

Great Beer List and Atmosphere

By Alexandra M |

Very fun place to meet friends for dinner. Excellent beer list and also several good wines on tap! We also had dinner, which was good as well. Lots of food options, something for everyone.

Good place for hanging out!

By Mary B |

Enjoyed a birthday celebration of burgers and beer while watching ball games, cyclists and lots of fellow diners. Veggie burger was excellent and specialty chips tasty. Beer was especially nice and our waiter great. Attentive staff and inviting ambience, look forward to a return visit.

Just had drinks.

Excellent selection of beers. Nice outdoor space and located in one of the trails from whitetail lake. Nice casual place.

What a fun place! We stopped here for a quick beer and appetizers and were very happy we did. Great patio. Great menu.

Friendly staff and great food

By drjandthemissus |

I'm not a beer drinker but joined some others here for dinner one evening. The brew master, Blake, came over to our table and spent quite a bit of time with me - telling me about their beers, asking what I like and don't like and finally allowing me to taste several beers that helped me 1) understand beer better and 2) find one I actually liked. I can't say enough about his kindness and professionalism. He was patient with me and really did take the time to educate me on all things beer. We enjoyed our dinner very much, everyone was pleased with what they ordered. It's always great to have places in East Dallas and since this is right on the trail, I am sure it will only get busier as the weather warms and the bikers come back out.

Buy a flight and then buy a big beer. Food looked delicious but we just drank. Nice outdoor area. Great fun staff. You get growlers.

Worth the crowd

We stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the lake. Their nachos were delicious and beer cold. It was crowded and noisy but worth it!

What a great atmosphere!

Beers are the best! Atmosphere is so fun. You can see the brew area behind the bar. Beverage menu changes often which is so fun. I always have some kind of special event going on. Great service food is good the Reuben sandwiches delicious and so are the fish tacos! Prices are fair. This is not a quiet restaurant. Lots of televisions and great outdoor seating. More of an adult atmosphere the occasionally I do see a few children. Bar service fantastic! Our favorite pub to go to. One of the owners seems to be there at all times. They only serve breakfast and lunch on the weekends.

Good beer selection, cool decor, tasty food

By Russ I |

We had dinner here recently, and enjoyed our visit very much. Good service, good beer, good food. This restaurant is only steps away from the Santa Fe bike trail, so my plan for my next visit is to make a stop during a bike ride for lunch.

Awful service

By Kelly M |

Terrible service. We sat at the bar and the bartender took half of our order and ignored the other two of our party. After 20 minutes when several others at the bar were served we asked if the rest of our party could order. The bartender said they were busy and they were serving 80 people outside, what do you want me to do? He was terribly rude and it took another 20 minutes to get our tab to leave. I get it, you are busy but there is no need to be rude and unprofessional. We will not return to this place.

Dinner with family

This was a great find! Only open for about a month and they don’t have the “brewery” open yet. Doesn’t matter, they have a fair amount of beers on tap and the food is really good. We ordered the Brewben, BBQ beef sandwich special (not on the menu yet), fish and chips and the nachos, all were devoured and enjoyed greatly! Because of all the beer options we took advantage of the flight option. Lots of big TVs and music playing. They open at 3pm during week but 10am for brunch on the weekends (can’t wait to come back for that). FYI- the Bloody Mary is spicy!🍺

Best Outdoor Brewery

By Kay Eaton |

The atmosphere is casual and the outdoor patio is great! You will find yourself among other bikers, walkers, joggers and dog lovers here too.

Delicious and Fun

By Anny B |

Traveled from California to visit our son and this is one of his favorite spots to hit for good beer and eats. The service was awesome, food was delish and loved the beer. It was nice to sit outside with the dogs in the semi-covered outdoor area too. We had the Buffalo Chicken Dip for an app which was incredible and the Fish and Chips were delicious too. I thoroughly enjoyed the IPO IPA!! Had to have a second.

New Place with a Nice Variety of Beers

By czmdivenut |

Saw the sign the other day so gave it a try. A nice selection of beer - had an Old Rasputin Stout and a passion fruit wit bier - both very good. Pretzel stick appetizer with a cheese sauce to dip and a really good juicy burger with pork belly and Tillamook cheddar. She had fish and chips which she said was also good. Good service and relatively quick.
