Best breakfast

By Timothy H |

The food blew our socks off. We will go back to Wildberry again on our next visit. Be sure to bring your appetite when you visit.

Plan on leaving full

By Wayne S |

Awesome breakfast! Too much food to eat! Each of us had something different but it was all good. Little pricey , but definitely not your run of the mall breakfast fare. Had breakfast outside, and service was excellent.

Yummy!!

By Jody H |

Went for late breakfast. Knew must be good place because was packed and had 30 min wait on a Monday around 11:30. Food was fantastic!! My daughter had pancakes and hash browns (was huge order all 3 of us ate on and still didn’t finish them all!). She loved her pancakes with chocolate chips on top. My husband & I had eggs Benedict which were fantastic. The poached eggs were perfection which are nearly impossible to get in a restaurant anymore. Would definitely recommend.

Average touristy place to grab breakfast

By Cayla P |

I was so excited to go here while visiting Chicago for some pancakes! I was hesitant when I saw it was in the main touristy part located in the loop. There was a 15 minute wait, and we were seated inside. There was nothing special about the inside. Crowded. Average. Service all very average. Good including pancakes were average. Nothing stood out as super good. Nothing was horrible. Lots of other hidden gems I would put over this place.

Excellent food.

By Ericka Danielle Ogle |

I always enjoy eating here. I also get the hot chocolate even in July. We went quite early in the morning which was nice since in the past it tends to get packed quickly. The service is great and enjoyable.

Don't forget to eat breakfast or eat here!

By Mady |

The breakfast delicious enough recommended, only the wait if it is long, the service very good, are very friendly, is clean

Bad breakfasts

By Italian-Caper |

We’re staying around the corner at the Radisson blue. We were told this restaurant was one of the best breakfast restaurants in the area so we thought we would give it a try. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was your normal plain eggs Benedict with toasted Dry almost burnt hashbrowns, my wife ordered the pancakes nice and fluffy, but raw inside- service is great that I will give them 100% quality of the food zero

Excellent gluten-free pancakes!

By DCDolcevita |

Nice selection of breakfast entrees. The gluten-free pancakes were delicious – frankly, I thought these were much better than my dining companion thought the regular ones were. Portions are enormous. Good service.

Delicious breakfast, lots of good choices on the menu

By Inspire226219 |

I thought it would be too much going out to breakfast, but my sister convinced me. We're on vacation, we can splurge. I'm glad she did, the food was sooo delicious, and after we walked through millenium park to the art institute. Really lovely, would definitely do it again

Delicious food without being ridiculously sweet. Surprisingly reasonable price. Great service. Worth the wait.

By Thara R |

I was skeptical. 45 minute wait for pancakes? I have to say the wait was easy - we went over to Millennial Park until we got the text and the food was really good. Levi was our waiter & he did a great job recommending everything from drinks to entree. I ordered the mushroom omelette which was delicious. I got the signature berry pancakes as a side and they were good but I actually liked my husband’s cinnamon roll pancake better. It was just the right amount of buttery, cinnamon, sweetness. Not cloyingly sweet like most cinnamon roll pancakes I have tried. The honey, cinnamon latte was also wonderful & not overly sweet. The pressed juice was yummy. We enjoyed our visit & would definitely go again. The portions were large so you could easily share. Even though the restaurant was crowded it wasn’t super loud or cramped feeling. You could easily enjoy a meal with a large group if you were willing to wait.

Perfect breakfast spot!

By Sarah |

Perfect breakfast spot close to the bean! We went around 7:30, was already busy but we were able to get a table right away. Fast service and great food! I do recommend going early, it was packed without about 20 people waiting outside at 8:15 am.

Fantastic corn, beef, hash, and pancakes

By HappyWoodturner |

Had to try this place given it was ranked number 10 for food in Chicago… And it did not disappoint The food was creative, traditional, and delicious… Service was ridiculously efficient and was the fastest breakfast I’ve ever ever had in my life… But didn’t feel rushed if that makes sense I recommend the corn beef hash, which is outstanding… And the pancakes never disappoint

Take an appetite!

By Paula H |

So nice we ate there twice! A great place to go for breakfast but I highly recommend that you take a big appetite or a companion or both. I had the Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes the first time we went—they were amazing, but there was easily enough food for two. And, honestly, lots of people were sharing, so…On our second trip I got the oatmeal with berries and granola—the serving was quite generous and they didn’t skimp on the berries. Our servers were both terrific, attentive without being annoying, and they didn’t rush us despite the restaurant being packed. Would definitely go again.

great place for breakfast

By Julie P |

Wow, this place has so many breafast choice that it is impossible to choose. And everything is good, plates are generous and staff very nice.

Why does this place get 5 stars

By GlobeTrotting593276 |

We went to the location on Randolph. Had high expectations based on everyone's reviews and local recs. Service rushed and slow to come back. Going here is best for indulging on lots of artificial flavors and sugar. Huge portion sizes.

Reviews must be made up - skip!!!

By Sea_Traveller5 |

Terrible quality. Just seemed to be mass amounts on a conveyor belt of mediocrity. No ambiance, vegetarian patties were terrible and they didn’t even smell right. Pedestrian food that could be made by anyone with little training. Maybe pancakes and waffles were better but any kind of egg dish. Don’t get. The kicker is the payment at the table with the waiter looking at you when the minimum tip is 20%. Go to Stans donuts around the corner which is much cheaper and better. Embarrassed this is the last meal I had with family after a few days of fun in Chicago.

Shared Breakfast with a Bee Colony

By Stephanie M |

We got the chicken and waffles and berry bliss pancakes. Both were good. Unfortunately, there is a bee hive in the outdoor patio area of the restaurant so as soon as our waiter brought the maple syrup out, 5 or so bees came over to join us. We initially just let them drink the syrup in the container but it became an issue when they started landing in our food. We told our waiter and he offered no solution; we expected he would ask if we wanted to move to a table inside. He didn’t. So we ate as fast as we could and got out of there!

10 stars

By J18 |

5 stars isn’t enough. Great good and great service. I went twice during my stay in Chicago and it was amazing, I had pancakes, eggs, toast, sausage links and hash browns l, all amazing. The first time I went it was right when they opened the service was great. Second time was a bit later, place was slammed. The whole staff handled it like it was a walk in the park. You can tell they’re used to being busy, speaks to how good their food/ service is.

Great breakfast here

By Louise F |

The most expensive breakfast we’ve had in Chicago but what a treat! After too much meat during our stay I opted for the Garden skillet - wow! Beautiful scrambled eggs on the top and loads of veg and cheese. It came with pancakes too- the portion size defeated me unfortunately. Good gf options here and the Wildberry orange juice worth a mention too

Always amazing!

By KateF86 |

Amazing again! This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Everyone is super friendly, accommodating, and the service is amazing. Food is always exceptional as well! It’s a must visit for our Chicago trips.

Wonderful breakfast

By Kim C |

I had the 2 eggs any style, turkey bacon, hash browns, and pancakes- it was all delicious. The Wildberry jam is delicious! Others in my group had the fried chicken and biscuits which they liked (didn’t like the gravy). The sourdough toast was all very good and the berry pancakes.

Overrated.

By cj_lewis |

The pancakes are tasty, but nothing to write rave about. I had planned to visit this spot during my trip to Chicago based on reviews, and the hotel staff recommended it too. However, there are similar quality pancakes in the supermarket, and some of the fruit had a weird aftertaste. The wait was reasonable, but you’ll be sat on the street outside. After sitting down at a table, the whole thing felt rushed and unenjoyable. Both my coffee mug and cutlery were dirty - encrusted with old food debris. This is what I’d call a ‘greasy spoon’ masquerading as some trendy pancake spot. There’s one positive - the coffee was at least okay.

Excellent service and Tasty

By Sunshine27559835673 |

This place was on our list to visit while in Chicago, it was amazing. Good staff and service (I would love to thank a waiter named ELAY i dont know how’s exactly spelled) Sending love to you From iraq.

Best breakfast in Chicago

By CameroPACS |

Sat quickly, food arrived fast. The goat cheese and caramelized onion Omelet was wonderful, so was the smoothie and Nutella crepes. My daughter said it was the best breakfast she’s ever had. They do charge the mysterious “service fee” that everyone talks about - which I didn’t have the energy to argue about with them to take it off, so that added about $3 extra on our bill.

Gluten free Pancakes are amazing

By Megan B |

They have a huge menu and huge portions. I have celiac disease and was able to get pancakes or waffles for brunch. They were knowledgeable and kind. I was able to get any type of pancake even specialty ones. I got cinnamon roll ones and WOW!!! My whole family LOVED their food! Only downside is they have a bee problem outside so make sure u sit indoors but the staff did tell us that! Typically they have a long wait bc they are so popular but it is SO worth the wait!! I promise! I will be coming back!

Standard Breakfast Fare

By Antityco |

This place was recommended to us by our hotel. It was a good recommendation. It's standard breakfast fare, with portion size apparently the selling point. In any event, the service was good, the food was fine, and overall it was a good experience.

Will definitely return, it’s worth a short wait

By OnAir10760226581 |

Visited on a Friday morning and were hesitant to wait for a table, but things moved quickly and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. All of the staff were friendly and efficient, and our order was delivered quickly. The food itself was excellent, great tasting and generous portions. Everyone at our table was happy with their choices.

Could be better, since there are bees :)

By maifun |

We showed up hoping to get a spot for brunch, and even with the long line and what looked like crowds, got seated pretty quickly. We were warned that since we were outside and there are flowers and food, bees could be near. They were! If you don't want to be near bees, don't choose an outside seat. I ordered a half pancakes half scramble sort of thing and it was very tasty. Service was quick and professional, at least as long as the employees don't have to deal with bees :(

Exquisite and worth the wait

By dustythoughts |

This incredibly popular place is worth every minute we waited for a table. We arrived at around 8:45 AM and waited for almost half an hour, but were happy to wait so we could eventually get a table. The food is absolutely worth it! Our waiter came over right away and took our drinks orders (a lavender matcha latte and a hazelnut latte), and then came back for our food. There were so many good things available that we had trouble decide what we wanted to order. Our waiter helped us decide on the berry bliss pancakes (their signature pancakes), the corned beef benedict, and a nutella crepe to share, and everything was superb! Even though this restaurant is very busy, we weren't rushed out, so we could to enjoy our food at our own pace. Prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big. We'll definitely come back here, although maybe we'll come earlier in the day so we can get a table sooner.

Brunch

By André B |

Very asty and well prepared food. Good service from the waiters. High quality espresso coffee. Certainly I would come back.

Excellent omelettes!!

By Jean N |

Fast and friendly service in a very nice setting. Our breakfast was incredible! Worth the walk on a hot sunny morning from our Lake Street VRBO!

Fantastic meals, beverages & service

By savvyTraveler77 |

Amazing breakfast meals! And one meal arrived a little burnt, the meal was removed from the bill & they gave my friend a gift card without us having to say anything.

Excellent food!

By Jason |

If you go before 9am, you should be fine with no wait. After that, they get really busy! Ordered the breakfast burrito, absolutely amazing. Chorizo, cilantro, egg, cheese with hash browns on the side. That will definitely fill you up! Worth the short jaunt from the Hyatt Regency (2 blocks ish). I would even say it would be worth the wait if you got there late!

Chicago Girls Trip 2024

By sheryl w |

We arrived at this location around 9:30 in the morning. There was a line of people waiting to be seated. I just knew it was going to be a long wait. We were seated 10 minutes later. There are two seating areas: indoors or outdoors. We chose to sit inside. I was surprised that they get you in so quickly. The menu has loads of choices. My daughter ordered French toast, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and turkey sausage patties. She loved it! Her drink of choice was a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. I chose an omelet with turkey sausage and veggies. I had apple juice. The portions are large and filling. If you love breakfast food, then this is your place to eat. You will not be disappointed.

American size breakfast!

By Roaming Traveller |

Having arrived in Chicago the day before from the UK, we were up early and ready to explore this amazing city. We headed to this location due to the reviews we had seen on-line. We were there early enough that we got seated straight away. The servers were polite na pleasant. I had eggs Benedict which as delicious, the ham was clearly taken off a joint rather than pre packed due to its thickness, the poached eggs were perfect and the sauce, whilst need a slightly stronger flavour for me, was the perfect texture and just the right amount. The muffin was a little tough, or the knife a little blunt as I was rip cutting it, however, all in all would have it again. The hash brown is huge and proper grated potato! My partner made their own omelettes, with 4 fillings, it was huge, but very tasty. Again the hash brown was enormous and equally delicious. After finishing our food we did feel a little rushed, but I appreciate it was getting very busy. Fully recommend, but be mindful of the portion size, we will go back before heading home!

The best in Chicago

By Ellie Wilk |

The food is amazing! The breakfast panini is huge, the hash browns are delicious, and the avocado toast is amazing! Please eat here!

Should have tried the pancakes

By Ian G |

We came here for breakfast. Good sized portions. I liked the fact we could have a side of fruit rather than hash browns. The coffee was not drinkable. That could be our taste buds.

Lives up to the hype

By GMatt |

Food was great. Lived up to the hype. Service was great and attentive. Heading back again before heading home. Recommend

What can I say……. Fantastic

By Pompeylad |

This is the way to start your day. 1st morning in Chicago & we found Wildberrys….! Choose the Cinnamon Pancakes, this was a sugar fix & more. As it turns out, this kept us going for the whole day. 24,000 steps around the Museum of Science/Industry. We’re here for the week & will return. Food fantastic, staff great & other customers so friendly.

Good breakfast

By D. |

A good breakfast place. HUGE portions. Delicious fare, and some things are loaded with sugar (to be expected). Come hungry! Value for money is quite good.

Always a good choice.

By TheToastmaster |

Always a fresh breakfast with creative menu selections. Their house squeezed grapefruit juice is fantastic and fairly priced… Try it!

Highly Recommend

By Veronica B |

The food is amazing, I ordered the berry belgian waffles and turkey sausage. 1000% worth the wait for a table (ordering to is an option). Our waitress was extremely was friendly, I wosh I could remember her name.

Efficient, Delicious. Great ambiance

By 999steviep |

Wildberry Café absolutely exceeded expectations! From the moment we walked in, the hostess was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful meal. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, striking that perfect balance between helpful and relaxed. The food? Simply outstanding. We ordered the Churro French Toast, Wildberry Smoothie, Los Altos Benny, and the Potato Omelet — and every dish was a hit. The Churro French Toast was crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and perfectly sweet. The smoothie was fresh and vibrant, bursting with flavor. The Los Altos Benny had the ideal mix of spice and creaminess, and the Potato Omelet was hearty, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully plated. The entire experience felt warm, genuine, and delicious from start to finish. Whether you’re a Chicago local or visiting the city, Wildberry Café is a breakfast and brunch experience you won’t want to miss!

Great Food and Great Service

By chad756 |

My wife and I had breakfast on a crowded Saturday morning. We had a short 15 minute wait for our table. The service was great and the staff friendly and the food was served quickly. I had the Denver($20): skillet with hash browns, ham, onions, cheese, scrambled eggs, onions, peppers and cheese. It also came with 2 pancakes. I was stuffed and didn’t touch the pancakes. The orange juice was good but over priced ($5) and the coffee was coffee also over priced ($4.50). Would I go back? Yes, would I recommend it? Yes.

Expensive but worth every penny

By Tim C |

So good we didn’t eat again until dinner. We enjoyed a coffee and a smoothie, specialty pancakes, a veggie hash and bacon. We had quick service; even though it was chilly outside, the heaters on the patio were warm enough we could take our coats off and eat there rather than wait for a table inside. Can’t wait to go back someday!

Overrated, overpriced, overcrowded

By Amalia H |

Very overrated. Having pancakes in the name led my expectations for pancakes to be high, and those expectations were not met at all. They put toppings on it and even that doesn't improve the pancake. We got the berry ones- sorry, unpictured. The waitress was stressed/rude. Visibly rolled eyes when I asked about a specific dietary option. Crammed to the brim with people, unpleasant conversations all around because tables are only one or two inches apart. A very bad experience and the food did not redeem it.

Fabulous breakfast with a great atmosphere.

By Big Tub |

Very welcoming and great service with everything well explained. Breakfast Burrito was great, although some food envy looking at the pancake stacks (maybe not great marathon prep😀)!! Get there early if you want to beat the rush though.

Yum!

By Renee |

Went with hubby and son. Everything delicious. Server friendly and efficient. Restaurant clean and lively. Would definitely go again.

Exceeded Expectations

By Paige S |

This was the most efficient seating system I have ever seen. The woman calling names was clear and projected her voice and was friendly and I just wanted to offer her a lozenge on this cold rainy dec Saturday. We were seated in the predicted 20 min and our server was just as friendly and efficient as the host station staff. Food was amazing! That loaded baked potato omelet is easily 2 meals! HIGHLY RECOMMEND no matter how packed they appear.

Great food, long wait.

By Laura X |

Our breakfast was fantastic with giant portions of food. It’s impossible to leave hungry! The only downer was that we were told there would be a 45-1hr long wait when we arrived. This was fine and we took a little walk to the park while we waited. We came back about 35min later and stood around for almost an hour before our table of 2 was called.

Soft pancakes

By Adolfo A |

We were recommended this place in the heart of Chicago for its breakfast and I must say that it held up very well the high expectations. The staff inside was very kind and helpful, the Pancakes were really good and above all abundant so that in two we consumed only one portion that in the end was enough for us.

Good breakfast option

By Nancy Carolina E |

Delicious and very abundant breakfasts. Good service and kindness from the waiters. The service is fast and the menu is varied.

Great breakfast/brunch

By Kelsey J |

We loved this cafe. Large portions and great service. I ordered some seasonal pancakes that did not disappoint. The bacon was great as well. We were seated quickly despite it being busy. Very accommodating for allergens and gluten sensitivity.

A great breakfast near the Art Institute

By Daniel R |

This place was awesome. We walked right in on Monday around 11AM, prior to making our way over to the Art Institute, and were greeted by friendly waitstaff and quick cups of coffee. The barbacoa chilaquiles were great, if a bit different than the chilaquiles I’m used to, and the signature berry bliss pancakes were a sugar bomb that evoked……bliss. Prices were reasonable, and the meal was filling. Would highly recommend.

Great food. Very well worth it

By IZABELWG |

Cardboard with many options. The dishes are generous and a great cost benefit. Come early because you have a line. Wonderful service.

Great breakfast

By Karen G |

This is a great place for breakfast. The dishes are pretty, delicious and HUGE! The service is amazing, they have a lot of people working, so it works really well. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it to splurge at least once during your trip, or sometimes on weekends for the locals.

Upscale Breakfast Place on the Mile

By WilliamC |

If you are staying in the Gold Coast area, one of the difficulties is finding a good place for breakfast. There are scores of great restaurants, but few for breakfast. Here’s one for you: Wildberry Pancakes and Café – Watertower Location. Just a block from “The Mile,” this spacious upscale café whips up all kinds of breakfast meals. As the name implies, their signature item is pancakes – a wide range of specialty cakes including cinnamon roll, banana coconut cream, and of course, blueberry Danish. Their basic eggs Benedict were very good, and what makes them good is the hollandaise sauce – rich and done just right. They have a number of “specialty Benedicts,” too. The bowls of oatmeal and Greek yogurt are huge, and the two eggs (any style) option comes with a pile of great hash browns, choice of meat, and toast. Plus, there are all kinds of omelettes and other egg creations. Be aware, this is not your “cheap eats” place. The prices are commensurate with the food, service, and ambiance. They also serve lunch with a rather impressive menu, but we only enjoyed breakfast on our visits. The waitstaff is friendly and extremely efficient … as is the kitchen. You will not have a long wait, especially if you are in a hurry.

Worth the wait

By Neil P |

Worth the wait. A long line but the food was excellent. Nate ‘The Great’ served us and provided great advice (listen to what he says).

The best local option for breakfast with pancakes (Hot cakes) in Chicago

By Julio L |

The Skillets were new and delicious because of the combination of eggs and vegetables served in a frying pan, richer than an omelet. The Signature pancakes are very rich, large and filling. I suggest sharing dishes

Expensive, crummy breakfast

By BrooklynIsOK |

Ripoff, worse than most chain eateries. Quantity does not mean quality. Vegan breakfast hash was oily and tasteless. Elotes avocado toast characterless. Waitstaff eager to hurry us along, which wasn't so bad because the food in front of us so dispiriting. Only realized afterwards, when looking at the credit card receipt, that we had been charged a 3% "service fee," on top of the tip. I'm looking at their menu online right now. Doesn't say that anywhere -- is that even legal? There are lots of fine places to have breakfast in the neighborhood (consider Miss Ricky's) where you don't leave feeling worse than when you came in.

The best waffle of my entire life

By Emily Lee |

I had the best gluten free waffle of my entire life here, and it was probably the best part of our entire trip to Chicago. I ordered the Signature Berry Bliss waffle, gluten free, and I cannot stop thinking about it. It's worth the $20, seriously. What a cute place, was packed, the food was delicious, and everyone needs to go here.

FABULOUS!

By Juliana Marie |

Awesome food! I waited a full year to return to this restaurant because I live out of state. The fig omelet with harvati cheese is amazing. I highly recommend it!

The waiting game

By Patricia R |

The people next to us sat down and ordered well after us. They received their food before we ever got ours. When we finally did get ours—it was cold and wrong. While the manager apologized, things did not really improve. He replaced our food (needing to wait more) and wine we finally received it—it was not all that good. This is a one time visit for sure. The waiter, it should be said, was lovely!

Customer service A1 the food ok

By Paul Cochran |

This place was packed(even people sitting at tables outside in the cold eating), but they get you a table within 15-20 min and the customer service was on point. With all that the food was ok, don't get the sausage pattie.

Will go again!

By AmyB56832024 |

Great breakfast in Chicago! Fast and friendly service. Optional outdoor seating! Amazing cauliflower hash! The pancakes are so so good - not heavy and a plethora of toppings to choose from! We had the delicious Signature Berry Bliss 💯

Incredible breakfast

By Laura Z |

Without a doubt, it serves the most incredible breakfast I have ever had. As a dedicated pancake enthusiast, I must say that their pancakes have an unparalleled texture and flavor. Each food item is prepared with a unique twist and offers exceptional quality. The atmosphere is vibrant and cheery, creating a delightful dining experience. The selection of breakfast options is extensive, ensuring that every craving can be satisfied at this remarkable establishment.

Yes!

By ms_swalton |

Amazing!!!!!! We're roadtripping for Spring Break and Chicago was one of our stops. We ordered Wildberry to go and it was absolutely fantastic!! The mobile site allows you to customize your order. I ordered the short rib hash, eliminated the onions and peppers but added mushrooms, broccoli and spinach with egg whites and cauliflower hash. There are no words to describe the freshness of the ingredients. Kids ordered pancakes and French toast. The harsh critics loved their food as well. A must try!!!!

Quick service, great atmosphere and wonderful food!

By Blochparty2014 |

What a beautiful way to start of the day before touring they Chicago. We had Dustin as our server- he was very attentive, made wonderful suggestions, ensure that we could/want all items we were ordering, even customized mine. The many staff hello to keep things moving and clean. As for the food- it was awesome- side had two eggs, hash browns and sausage- I had the brown butter sage eggs Benedict with a slice of the pumpkin bread French toast- add on the coffee and we left there very happy and FULL!

Wildberry 1st Time Visit

By Gibbfilms D |

We had a great breakfast here our second morning in Chicago. Great food and service, though pricey just to be fair and upfront. Right on the edge of Millinium Park and not too far a walk from our hotel on Wacker St. I had pancakes, which I really enjoyed, and my wife had a biscuits and gravy with eggs. Filled us up great for the AM! Recomended!

Yum! A New Breakfast Tradition!

By cruisintheusa |

We arrived a little after 9:00am on a Saturday and had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table….but it was well worth the wait! I ordered the pumpkin bread french toast…OMGoodness! It was divine…and I couldn’t even finish my third slice. The staff was knowledgeable & accommodated gluten-free needs within our group. Everyone agreed this was one of the BEST breakfasts we’ve ever had. We cannot wait to visit again the next time we’re in Chicago.

A must when in Chicago!

By Valerie B |

Our family went for breakfast on a recommendation by our hotel. It was wonderful!! We all enjoyed our selections! I had eggs over easy with bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were sooo delicious!! I don’t splurge often, but these were definitely worth it! All our choices were delicious!

lunch with rich pancakes

By Halley McConaughey |

here where I ate the tastiest pancakes in the area, truly a delight to be honest I'm going to break my diet in this place with those delicacies

Great breakfast, big portions

By Andy P |

Had a lovely breakfast here, everything was freshly cooked and tasty. The portions are massive so next time I will probably share a meal but we were so hungry we ate it all. Service was great and attentive and we will definitely be back.

Delectable

By Sleeper22 |

Most delectable crepes. So much food I couldn’t eat it all. Had the berry bliss. OMG. Have to eat here on each visit to Chicago. Happened to come when there was no wait. Usually a line down the street so timing is crucial.

Bad experience

By Caroline B |

Bad service, we asked for an explanation of the menu and the waiter sent us to read again on account to understand. In addition, pressing to make the order, we had not even finished the coffee and the waiter had already taken the bill to the table. Lack of education, and the food was not so good that it would justify the amount of queue to enter. I'd never come back. If you’re looking for a place to have a good breakfast, it’s not here.

A Must for Breakfast

By believeNus |

Once we found this place, we kept coming back! Located conveniently near Millennium Park and Riverwalk. Reasonably priced for quantity of food. Great variety. We came here for breakfast on our trip 4 times and each time, we had a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back!

Best Pancakes Ever!

By Dizzy Deb |

Some of the best pancakes I have ever had! Prepare to wait tho. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is the bomb! It’s a great location across from the park. Service dog friendly.

Nice Bkfst

By Rolando Estrada T |

Great service and quality of food fully recommended when visiting Chicago. The best green juice of my life

Sharable Omelet?

By xcschlr |

My companion and I each ordered an omelet, and neither of us could finish the huge quantity of food in the dish, including 3-4 eggs, avocado, pork sausage, and 2-3 pancakes. The flavor is very good, and the price is quite reasonable. So, I think that two people can share an omelet plus a side dish.

Fantastic dining experience we went back twice!

By Miya A |

During our business trip, our six-person group was completely amazed by this location. With a kind and informed staff that provided excellent food recommendations, the restaurant feels genuinely authentic. Every meal we sampled was expertly prepared, but the Gamberoni Thermidore was the standout! Since it's so popular, I strongly advise making reservations in advance. An absolutely amazing experience we are eager to return!

delicious breakfast

By Jesse Nowitzki |

Better than I could have imagined for a super tasty breakfast, I found it through this very means and now I plan to eat breakfast here whenever I can.

Very good breakfast at Wildberry

By Brad 🇭🇰 |

Wildberry Pancake and Cafe is just north of Millennium Park along E Randolph St. They have a fairly large indoor seating area and are open from 6.30am to 2.30pm daily. The menu features a classic list of American breakfast and all day orders, service is fast and friendly and the food very good. We popped in around 7am recently and had a huge and tasty breakfast. Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries came as a stack of 5. Come with an appetite for this one! We also found the corn beef hash and biscuits and gravy with sausage gravy to taste great. They complemented the pancakes nicely, a good sweet and savoury mix. Shoot out for the Intelligentsia Coffee being served at Wildberry as well. Overall, this was a great breakfast, one we would gladly repeat during future visits to Chicago.

Fantastic service and breakfast

By cazzaphinn |

Waited around 20 mins for a table just before 9am. Well worth the wait. We got Banana cream pancakes and Mexicana skillet. Holy moly, the portions were huge and delicious. We also had a latte and an OJ again both were huge. The service was great and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Great value for money as we did not eat again until dinner. Highly recommend.

Delicious pancakes, service to review

By Elodie A |

I had breakfast twice there because the pancakes are really good, served with whipped butter that I love. However, the service needs to be improved. They place you inside even if you ask for the terrace, the butter and maple syrup arrive at the table long before the pancakes, so the maple syrup is cold and the butter a little melted when the pancakes arrive. Depending on the server, you can request more coffee and never see it coming. But then, what is really unpleasant is the person who clears, who is in a very hurry and almost takes away the plate while you eat. You need good reflexes to get your spoon back for coffee and milk, almost impossible to keep...

Yummy Breakfast

By dciancutti |

This place is amazing. Had breakfast which was spot on. Service was quick even though they were packed.

Be prepared to queue

By Birdy E |

We stayed near and every morning we passed there was a massive queue. On our last morning we went early 8.30am and managed to get a table with only a 20 min wait. Lots of choices and big portions ! . I had the veggie omelette and orange juice both were good.

Best pancakes in Chicago ( and maybe world)

By IoanaBristol |

Have a day or 2 of fasting before visiting this place. Menu is extensive and so so varied you could stay in Chicago 2 weeks and visit daily and still have something different next time! Fabulous place, chilled atmosphere, wonderful food and very large portions ( can share one between 2 people and still be ok. But unlikely you would wish to share as good is so tasty . We tried the Wildberry and caramel, bananas pancakes , pumpkin special French bread, and pumpkin coffee - all delicious. Friendly service and lovely staff - not long to wait before getting food Well worth a visit

Lives up to the hype

By Sara R |

I was reluctant to try this place because of the long line , but the line goes really fast. The service was quick and efficient. The food lived up to the hype.

Best Brunch

By Lisa C |

Best brunch in town! Wish it was open later than 2pm. More than 1 location. Seems like everyone was having the breakfast cravings…

So busy was say outside in. December

By Anthony B |

This wasn't a cruelty experiment, there were heaters. The key thing is to ensure get there early, or be ready to wait. For me the wait is worth it. The service is good, the pancakes delicious.

Worth a visit

By annab |

Lovely staff, lovely clean restaurant and amazing food. Staff made this an enjoyable experience. There were 15 of us and food was quick and staff efficient. Large portions… got buttermilk pancakes (5) and they were very tasty.

Signature berry French toast is a must try

By Meagan |

Wonderful food! Visited this restaurant last year and decided to come back. Had their signature berry bliss French toast. Not too sweet and just the right amount of berry flavor. They give you a big dish, but it made for a great snack later in the day.

Yes Yes Yes for Breaksfast

By Suzy B |

Despite mobs of people out front, we waited only 10 minutes for a table. My Benedict Florentine was delicious. My husband took one bite of his Corned Beef Hash Skillet and declared it the best he’d ever eaten. The Cinnamon Roll Pancake we sampled on the side was to die for. Service was prompt and friendly. Wildberry Prudential Plaza was such a hit with us that we sought out the Water Tower Place location for a second visit before we left town.

Important meal of the day

By life traveler |

Nice spot for breakfast! Very friendly staff, clean and amazing food. I had an omelette and pancakes.. delicious! The server and staff very attentive. Good price’s and nice family ambient. Close to millennium park.

Delicious pancakes

By Sary3101 |

One of Chicago's favorite breakfast spots, keep in mind that you have to line up minutes to 1 hour. The number of pancake options is worth it. The restaurant is small in size and has a very nice terrace overlooking Millenium Park. Very large portions of can share

Breakfast and brunch cafe

By Mzungubabe |

The portions here are huge! I ordered pancakes and they brought 5! Delicious though and enough leftovers for the next day.

Disappointing

By SingSling_11 |

If your goal is quantity - this is the place. You get a lot of food but the ham was dry, scrambled eggs tasted like oil, and worse of all their specialty pancake was heavy and doughy. Would not go back.

Great Breakfast!

By ljkiser |

Was in Chicago for 1 night to catch a Cubs game so we did not get to eat many places, but we stumbled across this restaurant on recommendation from the front desk at our hotel. Our food was amazing! I had bacon & eggs and a short stack of pancakes (Blueberry Danish pancakes) and my husband had the same as well as a side of Biscuits & Gravy. I had freshly squeezed orange juice and my husband had the wild berry juice. Both were amazing! Would definitely go back! Although it was a little pricy.

Omelette & Skillets were better than the pancakes!

By Sunshine827087 |

We enjoyed the eggs (Butcher Skillet) and omelette (Loaded Baked Potato Omelette) much more than the pancakes and waffles. The pancakes were nothing extraordinary, very average, while the waffles were dry. We were a bit disappointed, considering this restaurant has the word "pancake" in its name. Service was good.

Worth the wait!

By Cinnamatic |

There's a reason there's a crowd hovering outside waiting for their party to be called. This place is super busy (inside and out). Appreciate we visited on Memorial weekend so may have been busier but the place was hopping. Great buzz and the servers work so hard to keep everyone happy. So much to choose from and the portions are huge! A definite must do if visiting Chicago.

Favourite breakfast spot

By Luce |

We were in Chicago for 6 days and ate here for breakfast for 4 of them. There’s always a queue to get in which is usually a good sign, with seating inside and out you don’t have to wait long to be seated and it is worth the wait. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive, we had drinks refilled before we had completely finished and all food requests or personal amendments were never a problem and met with a really positive attitude which is something we are not used to in the UK. The menu is extensive with plenty of options to suit everyone, so there should be no issues in finding something to eat. It’s also in a prime location right next to millennium park for some exploring after. Would highly recommend a visit (or 4!) - you won’t be disappointed.

Welcoming start to the day

By ELynch |

Excellent service, welcoming and friendly. Good range of traditional American breakfast. Disappointed Seasonal menu not live yet. Could have a bit more variety oatmeal and vegetarian offers, smoothies etc etc

Great spot next to the park

By Cezanne C |

Food was great - it was packed but the were very fast. The portions were large. It is right across from Millennial Park - so fantastic location to take a stroll after the eating.

Disappointed

By hehdu |

We live in Chicago and have been to Wildberry many times. It has been one of our favorite breakfast places. Today was by far the worst experience. What’s good is fast service, outdoor seating option and a great menu selection. Bad: we ordered Eggs Benedict and they were like a new culinary student made his first attempt. Terrible muffin (dry and tasteless), a sauce that was anything but Hollandaise, and put together like you would expect from a high school cafeteria. The pancake was nowhere near what they were before. Not sure if this place is going downhill or managed by an overzealous MBA but it’s off our list now for our favorite restaurants. Oh and don’t forget that they sneak in a 3% service charge without any explanation.

Highly recommend

By SuzieQBalu |

We walked up and saw huge crowds outside waiting. We were told 30 minute wait. We were called in about 20 minutes, brought inside to a busy restaurant, staff all dressed up in their Halloween outfits. Despite how busy it was, the staff were organised, efficient and friendly. The food came and was so good. We had pancakes, sizzler plates and eggs. The signature pancakes looked amazing but portion was HUGE for one person. The sauce was all on the top and only feedback I would give is that it would be nice to layer it because the further down I went the dryer the pancake. It was truly delicious though and staff were incredible. Highly recommend

A well-oiled breakfast machine!

By Tory |

When we arrived there was a long line out front of the restaurant, but it quickly dissipated, and we were seated in no time. The staff were awesome, the menu was vast, and we had our order in no time. Terrific breakfast!

Excellent for brunch or breakfast

By Rhonda P |

Had breakfast here first time in Chicago. Excellent food and coffee. I couldn’t resist the pumpkin spice caramel latte it was fabulous. Had the pancakes also pumpkin spice and ham and scrambled eggs. Perfect breakfast and so filling. Price was expensive but you are in Chicago. I would go again.

Too good to close this early

By septsunseeker |

Better than incredible. Great service and creative food preparation. Delicious food and coffees. Sit outside and enjoy the weather before the cold arrives. Needs longer hours. Closing at 2pm misses the whole breakfast for dinner population.

Must for breakfast!

By Nuttree2013 |

Excellent breakfast. Almost turned around when we saw the amount of people waiting but it only took 20 minutes to be seated. Service was efficient but not rushed. Will go back before we leave town!

The waffles are devine!

By FhayzeB |

The waffles are devine! The service friendly. Warm environment. Don't go out your way, BUT dine here! To go or dine in the express service is a plus.

great breakfast

By robert k |

It is right across from Millennial Parke, the service was great and the staff friendly, the food was delicious, we had the pancakes, eggs benedict, great hash browns, crispy on the outside but creamy smooth on the inside, the portions are large enough to share, definitely will visit again

Real American breakfasts!

By audrey.vls87 |

Real American breakfasts! Very generous plates, top coffee, efficient, smiling service and good advice if you need it! Family, friendly place and ideal for a solo breakfast like me before exploring the Windy City! Ps: I didn't wait because I was alone, but waited at reception to get a table!

Yes it is the best!!!

By Ladye A |

Our second time to Chicago and our second breakfast with WB. We had to have the Berry Bliss Pancakes again (so much we should have shared) and the Rutherford Omelette, it was so good. Great service and friendly staff, will be back again.

Great Breakfast By The Park

By John H |

My wife and I ate breakfast here twice during our stay nearby. The wait staff is great and the food we had was delicious. We did not have to wait to be seated and ate both inside and on the patio (they warned us about bees). We did share one meal on the second day as the portion sizes are large. Would highly recommend.

Amazing

By Prashan Wilfred |

Amazing Pancakes. The breakfast is huge. For someone coming from Europe the sizes were way too big. But the food is delicious. And the queue to get in is so long

A decent place for breakfast

By Nkem O |

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, waited about 30 minutes for a table. The place had a nice buzz, with the good ambience. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I ordered a white hot chocolate, which was a bit disappointing as it tasted like milk. The pancakes were nice, I ordered the coconut pancakes. The buttermilk pancakes were ok. The whole experience was okay, but I was not wowed.

New fave brunch place in Chi!

By baycyd |

Flawless, friendly service by Nate. Scrumptious food. Huge portions, so consider sharing a dish. The only problem we had was narrowing down our choices. We wanted everything on the menu. Gluten free and vegan options readily available, and substitutions don’t seem to be a problem.

Super popular, super good place for Breakfast till 2 PM

By Blue Marble Trek |

Wildberry Pancakes and Café met our exceptions for a great breakfast spot. The food was very good, the service was great and the location is perfect for people stay near Lakeshore East. They have a very large menu of breakfast, lunch and brunch options and while it was not super busy when we went it looks like this place can get very busy.

So yummy!

By EB |

Even though there was a long line, we were sat quickly. The service was great and the food even better! The skillets and the pancakes were so yummy!

Best Birthday Treat

By Clettie |

Super spot for a special birthday breakfast. So much choice - our group went for a mix of the skillets and pancakes. All delicious and big portions. I went old school with buttermilk pancakes and sides of honey bacon and maple syrup. And washed down a great cappuccino - a perfect Italian breakfast size coffee. A special shout out to our server Hector - he was awesome. Thank you Hector!

Bring Your Appetite!

By JennD |

Words cannot do this restaurant justice. You just have to go...and then make plans to go again and again and again! Just don't plan to eat for the rest of the day because your stomach will be so happy and full.

Great breakfast in Streeterville

By Randy H |

Wonderful breakfast! Varied yet uncomplicated menu. Pretty pricey for breakfast ($60 for two with tip and one coffee). Both my wife and I enjoyed our meal and each came with generous potions. Great service and great location,

So Good

By pacha835 |

After A 15 minute wait we were seated and what a treat we had in store . Pancakes are superb as is everything else on the menu . I have to say that the Hash Browns are brilliant . Make sure that you are ready for large portions . So good we went back a second time

Delicious breakfast

By Angela1011 |

What a find for a breakfast place with a huge menu! Strawberry pancakes were incredible. Staff very friendly and attentive. Can also recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Such a shame it’s our last day here 🥲

Delicious

By faith327 |

This was the first time we had a meal at this restaurant and it was fantastic! The first thing I noticed was their amazing efficiency. They were extremely busy because of the Lollapalooza festival but we still only waited for 30 minutes for a table of four. There is both inside and outside seating options. Once we were seated the waiter was so friendly and helpful with questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious and we did not wait long for our meals to arrive at the table. I would definitely return to this restaurant. The prices were reasonable for what you received.

Delicious but too much

By Ellen B |

We got the Blueberry Danish pancakes and the Peach Cobbler French Toast. Both were delicious. Portions were so big that we took half with us. Huge glass of fresh squeezed OJ was a bargain. The Turtle Mocha latte was also good. Great service too.

Veryyy delicious breakfast

By nihan e |

Super big portions, very delicuous and decadent Corn beef hash that comes with their signature pancakes. A must go place in Chicago

Berry Bliss Pancakes..YUM

By Shannon L |

we went here right after going to millennium Park and taking pictures at the Bean! The restaurant was cute the food was amazing and those pancakes were phenomenal!!

The manager is very rude

By Shima S |

We are a family with 5 kids that one of them can join us 10 minute delay, a 7 years old child, and they do not accept the child to entwr and eat his breakfast, bacause of saying that other were sitting 10 minutes before, and a child just have to watch them eating theire breakfast, they are very rude and tehir behavior are so bad, i have never seen such behavior before in any restaurant

Best Breakfast place in Chicago!

By Mobile25237455228 |

Been here several times, never disappointed, the vegetable omelet is the best omelet to date, fast, friendly service, Wildberry's is my favorite breakfast place so far, every time we go to Chicago Wildberry's is always our first stop after getting off the train.

A classic crowd favourite

By pillowsofwanderlust |

Whenever I'm in Chicago I always plan a visit to this classic crowd favourite, known most famously for their pancakes. There are 4 locations total (soon to be 5), with the locations across from Millennium Park (in Prudential Plaza) and in Water Tower Place probably the best for tourists. At the Water Tower location, you can make a reservation or join the waitlist on their app or Yelp. The Prudential location does neither; you must join the waitlist on the tablet in person. I was staying close to the Prudential location, so I walked there and arrived before the 7 am opening. A line quickly formed, but it was a weekday so all were seated quickly. I happened to walk by the next day, Saturday, and the line and wait were CRAZY! I am a berry lover, so my favourites here are their Berry Bliss items, which come as pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles or crepes. They contain a berry mascarpone filling, fresh berries, vanilla creme anglaise and a blackberry coulis. I usually order a savory egg dish where you can sub in the specialty pancakes for the toast with an upcharge. For this visit, I only had the stomach capacity to order the Berry Bliss crepes, and they were of course delish, perhaps a bit "lighter" than the pancakes. I also got a Berry Bliss smoothie, also delish. They also offer a Wildberry orange juice and berry lemonades. Berry and pancake heaven. Come hungry and be prepared for a wait.

Great breakfast

By JLJ |

Always a great place for breakfast in Chicago, just too much food to eat in one sitting. Service is always good, really nice people are there to make sure that your every need is met.

Best Chain Breakfast In Chicago

By Henry F |

This breakfast place is top notch. They are very creative with their dishes, and it should be a crime not to order their pancakes. Wildberry was right next to my hotel, and was very nice to walk to and eat in the morning, plus the service was decently quick. They serve large portions and you will not leave feeling hungry. Note, the wait time later in the morning can get a little longer, but overall great experience.

Why wait!

By Marlayna R |

Pretty good service. Get there early if possible. You can not make reservations. The wait is long because it's a very popular establishment. The food looks just like the pictures. Excellent! Be prepared to wait, but the breakfast is worth it.

Delicious and LARGE portions- share

By Robin B |

Yum! My husband and I had breakfast with our 5 year old twins . It was delicious. I had the Rutherford which was a goat cheese, spinach, carmelized onion and bacon omelet, delish ! My husband had the special berry pancakes with marscapone cheese which he also loved . My only suggestion is to share the meals . They are HUGE. We ordered two adult and two kid meals and we could have shared 1 adult and 1 kid meal. My huge omelet came with a side of fruit and 2 large pancakes . The kid’s bacon and egg also came with two large pancakes. The four of us could have shared those two dishes . We ended up with way too much food with an additional kid’s 5 large chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes and the 6 special berry cakes as well .

There are much better options than this!!!

By James |

Urgh. They pile everyone into one section so they don’t have to clean the others. You are literally sat squeezed next to people, no privacy whosoever. It’s sooooo noisy! We were seated in the worst table possible right in from of the kitchen where the noise of cutlery banging and constant staff chatter/shouting continued the whole time - I’m pretty sure you could hear it no matter where you sat though. I had the added pleasure of having staff hit the back of my chair every time they waked past - ignorant. But the WORST thing was our waiter (older man with long hair tied back) did the LOUDEST fart as he walked away from our table after we paid. There are much better places for breakfast. Try Pittsfield Cafe over the road for some old school charm and much better prices.

Wow. Just, wow!

By Olle Q |

Amazing pancakes, wrapped in complete decadence. Looking for a healthy alternative, go elsewhere. Looking to get your blood fats through the roof and enjoy the true American breakfast? Then this place is a must!

Love this place

By Les2Chicago |

You can’t visit Chicago without having breakfast here. The wait is worth it. Get there early and enjoy the perfect pancakes and coffee

Ignore the line if you can

By Laura F |

Been to the loop many times. Walked by Wildberry most times. Hard pass on the line. Fortunately my wife and I found a gap recently and I kid you not this place is worth anything other than frostbite. Service, food, everything is 5 stars. You will adore this spot.

Large portions

By Ayo A |

Excellent service! Ordered the pecan pancakes, and a side of bacon. If you’re going with another person, the pancakes are enough for two people. So they give you a lot of food. The pancakes were just OK. They tasted like they were pancakes made from a mix. And because I make pancakes from scratch at home, I’m probably just spoiled and biased.

American Brunch!

By busmir |

Typical American place to eat for a hearty breakfast or brunch!!! Pancakes delicious and very soft. Very fast ok even without reservation!

Just average

By TJtravelerX |

It was a good breakfast, but tastes are average. Nothing special. Not a good service and very similar to other breakfast chains in the US.

Fantastic place!!!

By Steve P |

Fantastic Breakfast! We reviewed in advance many downtown eateries in our brief food, sport, and cityscape trip to downtown Chicago. Being close by “Wildberries” seemed to be a highly rated breakfast established. Let’s cut to the chase here and just say the food is not only fantastic but the volume you’re going to be served you had better be awfully hungry. I ordered the egg/green pepper filled crepes and received 2 huge long crepes that looked like perfectly filled large manicotti or burritos with a large dollop of sweat cream on top, they were outrageous! Crazy me also ordered a “side” of ham for only $8.00 and received 4 very thick cuts of tender ham, (one could have made a meal on that alone!). They also have an extensive selection of high quality and varied coffee choices. We also had a great server too and we’re fortunate to get booth tables twice. Ambiance is just what you would expect on a breakfast place, a lot of satisfied people enjoying the food and morning buzz. On a weekend reservations could be helpful, we didn’t but then you will have to wait a bit otherwise. What more can one say? Chicago in my humble opinion may be the USA’s greatest foodie city, and within this exalted universe then there is “Wildberry” where you should go to eat breakfast and be prepared to strap on a feast no matter what you select!

Get pancakes

By Mmadison66 |

Excellent food & fast friendly service. Servings are large enough to share. If you arrive before 9am, there is a minimal wait. If after 9 am, expect 30 min or more wait. There are no reservations or call ahead, however there is plenty of indoor & outdoor seating

Good local breakfast spot but maybe not worth the trip unless you’re in the area

By Maurice |

A good enough breakfast spot. I can’t fault them for a lot but at the same time nothing blew me away. Perhaps I should have ordered the pancakes or a waffle but I got the eggs Benedict which were fine but certainly lacked a bit of sophistication and style for the price. It was moderately busy but not packed but I’ve heard that it can be a madhouse on weekends from my family that lives nearby so think about making a reservation. My only real negative critique was a I ordered a cappuccino and it came in a tall cup instead of a cappuccino cup which caught me by surprise. This vastly diminished my experience of drinking it as as it was almost impossible to drink the foam. Very large portion sizes. Expect a good breakfast if you live in the area but I’m not sure I would make a trip out of my way.

Excellent Breakfast with Many Gluten Free Options

By Heather Cox |

We were in Chicago this weekend and enjoyed brunch here. The wait time was only 20 minutes despite what seemed like a long queue on a Saturday in the heart of the city. The menu is expansive and has many gluten friendly options. They even have gluten free batter for pancakes and waffles, which is rare. The food and service were all excellent.

Breakfast is my favorite meal

By Tammy P |

First time in Chicago. Wildberry’s was recommended by a few of my friends and it didn’t disappoint. David our server was great. I had the Bliss Fruit French-toast and my daughter had the churros French toast.

Delicious 10/10

By Paula S |

We had the best breakfast ever !!! I had the Mexican Breakfast Skillet with the Bluberry Danish Pancake and everything was Fantastic. My partner also loved his eggs with ham and cheese and cinnamon bun pancake. We had leftovers to eat for our drive home which was a bonus. The staff are very attentive and lovely. I would definitely return!

My whole family loved their meals!

By slandry1042 |

There was a lot of people waiting when we arrived but, it moved along very quickly! The menu selections were awesome, there was something for everyone! My whole family loved their meals!

Great breakfast

By TripPhotographer52 |

I was in Chicago to be with family for Thanksgiving and was looking for a breakfast place that was open on Thanksgiving & glad this place was. The menu had great choices and the service was excellent. I had a garden skillet - done well as I asked- and a side? of pancakes instead of toast, with coffee. The skillet was great- hash browns on the bottom, with veggies next, then melted cheese and then scrambled eggs- great and too much to finish. Plus they gave me 2 pancakes instead of 1 which was also too much to finish. I got seated right away about 9:30 and there was a big wait outside when I left. Highly recommend.

Great find!

By LRC |

So glad we went! Food was great, portions were generous and value for downtown Chicago was good. We vistied on a Monday about 10:30 a.m. and it was busy but we were seated right away. Server and other staff were very pleasant. Will go back again!

American breakfast

By georgia74 |

We wanted a real typical and good breakfast, we were served. It’s excellent, plentiful, a real treat. Good a little expensive 62 dollars with taxes and tips Good to know you can swap the potatoes for pancakes, with an extra charge you can have those on the menu so do it if you're hesitating between savory and sweet. Go there with your eyes closed

Not worth the wait

By Unknown322 |

Beside the pancakes there is nothing you can’t get cheaper and with less wait. Server was nice. Won’t be back and cannot suggest due to long wait.

Excellent filling delicious

By jean |

We were recommended to go here by our Bellman Michael at the Pendry hotel. He told us it was the best pancakes in all of Chicago and wow was he telling the truth! Absolutely amazing food and service. It took us a little bit to get seated which is usually a great sign and just wow, best breakfast spot my family and I have ever had 🙌🏻 10/10

Great food and outstanding service!

By Hentone A |

I went for a modest family gathering and didn't tell the staff about anything unusual. The service was excellent despite the high volume; our server was kind, considerate, and went above and above. The dinner was incredibly flavorful, perfectly prepared, and excellent. made our day even more memorable. Many thanks to the team; we will most certainly be back!

Overpriced

By Sam |

Customer service and the pancakes outshined everything. Cinnamon latte was ok. The meat in the Butcher Skillet was bland, and wasn’t the best quality. Egg Benedict was not served hot, hollandaise sauce was too thick & lemony and the ham was very salty. Overpriced

Nice breakfast

By straav |

Nice but Chicago offers better. I will Olán to hit some other places for breakfast before coming back. The staff were great.

The place to go for breakfast - well worth the wait!

By Linda E |

Awesome food. They don’t take reservations but well worth the wait! Staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend the Signature Berry Bliss pancakes!

Amazing breakfast.

By Jake C |

Stopped here for breakfast with my wife on our first morning of our chicago trip. Breakfast was amazing I had the berry bliss waffle and it was amazing . Staff was also very good and food came out fast and fresh.

Stop in for breakfast or lunch! Great!!

By Randeelou |

Great food, excellent speedy service. Varied menu. We are here twice during our trip. Breakfast and lunch and both were amazing!

Disappointed Customer!

By Toni C |

I ordered takeout from Wildberry, one of my favorites and I was disappointed with the service. No syrup for my pancakes, no honey or sugar for my tea and they placed a slice of American cheese on top of my omelette.

American Breakfast

By Anke K |

Great breakfast! We had eggs Benedict and pancakes, a treat for an American breakfast. Great selection! Very tasty.

Excellent

By Marissa C |

Phenomenal food and great quality and portion for the price. I don’t think I’ve had a better breakfast anywhere! Definitely worth a stop.

Wild for wildberry

By Kraz |

Wilberry Cafe is a gem! The all-day breakfast is a huge plus, and the avocado toast is a standout—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. While the cappuccino could use improvement, the warm atmosphere and variety of menu options more than make up for it. A great spot for a relaxed meal any time of day!
