This place is great! Lots of menu options, very clean and nice atmosphere. Even kids found what to eat. Service was great- staff is very friendly.

We were amazed by how delicious our two choices for late lunch were! Highly seasoned and dense with nutrition. Fungi Pizza and the Harvest Bowl.

Arriving for a mid-day lunch post an invigorating gym session, we were genuinely taken aback by the remarkable experience that unfolded at the restaurant. From the outset, the service stood out as a shining example of attentiveness and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on us. The culinary delights that graced our table were nothing short of exceptional. The pizza was a masterpiece of flavors, each bite a harmonious blend of ingredients that danced on our palates. Equally enchanting was the watermelon salad, a refreshing symphony of textures and tastes that perfectly captured the essence of the season. Beyond the culinary journey, the restaurant's aesthetic left an indelible mark. The carefully curated décor added a layer of sophistication, enhancing the overall ambiance and contributing to an elevated dining experience. The option for al fresco seating was a delightful touch, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the surroundings while savoring our meal. In sum, our visit to this establishment was a delightful revelation, with impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and a captivating atmosphere coming together seamlessly. It's safe to say that this culinary gem has secured a spot among our favorite dining destinations.

First - if you are a plant based/vegan this is your restaurant. Pizzas, egg(less) dishes, curry, Mexican - all fresh, delicious and tasty. Even if this isn't your preferred diet, you won't miss the meat, dairy or eggs. The food is good. So good that despite other restaurants in the area, I kept returning to this one to explore more of the menu. I can not comment on service or atmosphere. I ate here during COVID so the food was takeout only. There was pleasant seating areas outside.

Pro tip: - Make reservations beforehand or expect to wait. - the pasta penne with impossible bits is great, skip the Donburi bowl. After watching Netflix Game changers, I’ve been actively try to eat at more vegetarian restaurants and eventually came across Wildseed. This is a relatively new restaurant with a great concept of 100% plant-based fresh foods. A great versatile restaurant for brunch with friends or a date night. Great service and decor, however the food was a hit or miss. I ordered the Tomato Penne Pasta with Impossible bits it’s inside while my wife ordered the Donburi avocados bowl. The Pasta was a great flavor and the impossible bits made it taste like it was indeed meat. The flavor was that of a traditional real pasta. However, my wife’s donburi was underwhelming. The ingredients didn’t seem the freshest and was lacking a central element to the bowl. But I guess that just comes down to preference. Regarding wait times, if you’re going on the weekend then you should make reservations or expect to wait. Overall, it is worth it and I would come back again to try other items as well.

Vegans visiting San Francisco need to find their way to Wildseed for vegan food as good as anywhere in the world right up there with Peacefood Cafe in New York and Little Bird in Auckland, New Zealand. I arrived just before 3pm and the place was packed and kitchen just about to close but they found me the last table on the pavement. I was worried the chefs would be focused on having a break but the food was fast and excellent in terms of taste, flavour, presentation etc. The service was uniformly friendly and excellent and overall it had a very friendly cool vibe. Every second person passing on the pavement commented that to whoever they were walking with that Wildseed was great so if the locals love it visitors to SF will too!

Visited Wildseed for lunch, we heard such great things about the food and came here especially whilst on our honeymoon from the UK. We were not disappointed. Tasty plant based food, well presented and the service was great, we don't usually leave room for dessert but I'm glad we did, the beetroot, rum chocolate cake was divine! Make sure to book in advance as it gets very busy.

Fabulous indoor (vax proof) and parklet dining on Union. Not easy parking but worth it. We enjoyed a salad - Ensalada endalusia with “neatballs” ( lentils and mushrooms-delicious) and a Fall pie pizza. Plus some wine. Everything excellent and tasty- no meat or dairy needed here. Excellent service!

Absolutely delicious! Everything from the drinks to the food. The service was also spectacular! The decor is amazing throughout too. Really every inch of this space was perfect! I can't wait to dine again!

We ordered an appetizer and a pizza. After 40 minutes, I asked for the check and requested to remove the pizza since it was taking too long. However, she brought a pizza a minute later, which was not the one I ordered. I asked for the check again, and she said okay. After a 10-minute wait, the waitress never came back, so I asked the hostess for the check, but it never came either. I walked to the register and paid with cash. No apology was made, and they treated us poorly. Additionally, I paid with a $100 bill and received short change. I didn’t ask for the correct change because I was too tired of dealing with these rude people. I wish they weren’t lying and being rude to others.

We were excited to try this all Vegan restaurant! Our experience started right off with great customer service and hip ambiance. There were so many yummy sounding menu items that it was hard to choose. I had 2 small plates of Mexican corn cakes & mushroom fritters. Both were to die for. Exquisite flavors. Took Meyer lemon cheesecake home for later. I wish I could eat here every day! Wanted to stay an extra day in San Francisco just to eat here again. Get reservations!! We got the last reservation (for 5 pm) and there were 20-30 people waiting outside for the doors to open at 5 pm, some of whom said they were on a wait list.

Wow this place was as good as the other location in Palo Alto. Easy to get to location. Warm and inviting seating are and a decent size bar. We enjoyed the roasted carrots, Brussels sprouts, neatball masala, followed by the warm chocolate chip cookie with scoop of ice cream. Hard to believe it was all vegetarian and no dairy. Just delicious!

This restaurant opened last month in my neighborhood and has been filled to capacity everyday. Since we live close by, we came with our daughter who is a vegetarian. It was the most beautifully presented delicious and creative food for miles around. To top it off, the price is right and service was friendly. We have already made another reservation to try all the other interesting items on the menu that we didn't have this time. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the noise level made it almost impossible to have any conversation. We had a very early, 5:45pm, reservation since we knew the restaurant is noisy, but the noise was more intense than we had expected.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Prices were affordable specially since we were there during the happy hour. The food was well composed and tasty without being overly spicy. Also probably the Bay areas bluest and best Gin and tonic

BEST vegan restaurant !! I absolutely loved it... prices are OK (not saying its cheap but compared to other restaurants in SFO, it wasn't expensive). Its a very cute restaurante with great service and amazing food... I truly recommend it. Also, the street where its located is very nice.

Very pleasant place, nicely decorated, with many plants to create a relaxing environment. Friendly staff. Very good food, excellent quality of well cooked raw materials. Fair price. Reservations recommended because despite being quite large all the tables were occupied. We recommend it!

Excellent Vegan restaurant , I have taken many non vegan friends there and everyone is delighted with the delicious food.

Love to take my wife to vegan places whenever we travel and for me, I eat anything, so I am not picky. What I really like is vegan places with great food- and that is Wildseed. I was a little bummed that they have a limited menu in the afternoon (before dinner), but there was more than enough to satisfy us. Polenta was out of this world and the salad and pizza were excellent. Great service and plenty of tables inside and outside. A must go to for the vegan crowd!

I went will a team from work. One of us is strictly vegan and all are willing to eat vegan. The menu is interesting and fun. The place is very appealing inside. The staff very friendly. Everyone was delighted with what they had. We share the Green Forest flatbread as an appetizer on recommendation of our service. It was great. I and one of my colleagues had the Spicy yellow curry with forbidden rice. How could I resist ordering something forbidden. The curry was not that spicy, but delicious with very well balanced flavors. Forbidden rice turned out to be black rice which I have had before and always enjoy. A few folks had impossible burgers and one had a Wildseed burger. Our true vegan had the Neatball Masala and enjoyed it alot. I was to tired for a cocktail, but others all enjoyed theirs.

Arriving on a beautiful afternoon around 4 PM, we had to put our name in and wait for about a half an hour, as they are apparently quite popular. Especially as a plant-based restaurant, that is quite impressive. We got the beet poke bowl to share as an appetizer and also got the Harvest Bowl and Rigatoni Bolognese, as well as the Tropical Thunder non-alcoholic cocktail of orange, pineapple, passionfruit, coconut milk, and ice. Everything was quite tasty, satisfying, and comfortable, even if not extraordinary. It's also not cheap. Rant section: We didn't think the too-loud club-style music fit the place and I resent restaurants that list the SF "mandatory" health fee on the bill as a separate expense (it's mandatory for the business, not the customers, just like minimum wage law, rent, electricity, insurance, etc.), even if it's a common scam. I'd go back, but I'm not in a rush to do so.

This farm to table vegan restaurant gets everything correct. It has one of the most flavorful foods I have ever eaten, some of the best seasonal menus and a great vegan twist on popular options. The service is amazing and the food is extremely fresh, making it a great spot to take someone on a date. The place is relaxed yet intimate and fun and the ambience is pretty. It elevated my experience in San Fransisco

love that it's all vegan. My partner and I shared half each. I really liked the wild seed burger. Wasn't keen on the impossible burger, it actually reminded me of meat, which turned me a bit. Both burgers came with a generous portion of fries. We added avocado, which was $4 extra. Two burgers with a beer cost approximately $40. The beer was $9. I thought it was overpriced, but this is San Francisco prices! We went another day and got French fries. I near fainted at the price. $10!!! Really, for potatoes!! It's not as if they were anything special! Crazy!

Went here with a group of friends. We started off in the bar for Happy Hour (note - it was so loud you could barely carry on a conversation). The server was not attentive. Every time a new person in our group arrived we had to flag down the server to get a drink and server immediately left after taking drink order without asking if they wanted to order a HH food item so many in our group missed out and had to pay full price for their appetizer before heading to our table. Regular table service was fairly good. The server, however, did seem to tell each person that what they ordered was either the most popular item on the menu or one of her favorites - I'm not a fan of servers who LOVE everything, I prefer honesty which usually translates into pros and cons about a dish. Unfortunately, they were out of Artichokes and DeCaf coffee which impacted several dinners in our group. For a vegan restaurant to be out of artichokes seems unacceptable to me.

This is my favourite restaurant in San Francisco. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. It’s a beautiful restaurant located in a nice neighbourhood. It could be very busy so make sure you book your table in advance. I’ll definitely go back.

Terrific place with just one problem! Visited today with a big group of people. Here is why I like this place: - Tasty food! The dipping sauces of the fries were delicious. They were able to accommodate ingredient restrictions from some our group members as well. - The service was excellent from start to finish, from the moment you enter to until you leave. Shout out to Paige, our server, who juggled all of our requests with a warm smile and speed. Thank you! - Cool interior vibe. Spacious and still not too noisy even when the house is full. - Great location but hard to find parking. The only thing I would change is this. When I was in the men’s restroom, there was a male staff member (he had an apron on) who used the restroom and… did not wash his hands when he left. Come on! That’s food service 101.

Wildseed is the perfect mix of upscale and down to earth. Casual vibe but super nice decor and service is very attentive. The harvest bowl with neat balls are my go to option. (balls are fried so not super healthy). It is easy to eat gluten free from the menu however most dishes contain soy.

The atmosphere at the restaurant makes you feel comfortable. The food is great and healthy. Highly recommended.

Great good & a creative global menu keeps us coming back. We've liked everything on the menu. It is in San Francisco so parking is challenging & on the street. Make reservations or chance the waitlist as seating is tough. We've loved the Mexican corn cakes, peas, roasted beet tostada, curry, shrub soda, and golden latte.

We met friends here for dinner and really loved our dining experience! Really good social environment that didn't feel too loud, and our waitress was super friendly and patient. The food was outstanding - we all shared several dishes and loved everything that we ordered (the squash pizza especially was superb!). Food came out relatively quickly, but everything was prepared thoroughly and deliciously, and we didn't feel rushed. This place was super busy when we ate here, but it wasn't too loud.

As a vegan in San Francisco you can basically find a good meal anywhere but Wildseed? They are beyond good. The melding of flavors, the creative concepts, and the globally inspired shareable plates are just perfection! I went here with a good (non-vegan) friend for dinner; the server was super helpful the whole meal helping us pick the right wine to play off our meal and making suggestions that blew our minds. We started with the shishito peppers, the Mexican corn cakes, and then shared the paella for our main (paired with the pinot noir). We ended our meal with the cheesecake, something of a rare occurrence for us vegan folk, and it was spectacular. I can't wait to go back, this time with our husbands in tow!

Liked both the food and atmosphere! Would definitely eat here again. This place was poppin on a Thursday night, so I think it is definitely a local favorite.

The restaurant is busy, when I say that I mean, it’s THE place to be in San Fran! If you haven’t booked you go on a walk in list. We waited in the bar for our ‘two hours table trying to get a drink, it’s SO busy, and quite deservedly.....!! We stood there for about twenty mins then a couple stood to leave and offered their table - rizzult! It was plan sailing from there on in.... Hubby chose an IPA of some sort, said it was lovely! Hazy type...? I had the Aloe G&T being a Brit! Delish! Wow.....I almost swigged it down in two! The frozen lemon slices, great touch! Our server was a lovely kind chap, bearded and very helpful, in fact all of the staff we encountered were very professional and friendly. Hubby, who doesn’t eat veggies yet is Vegan, ( go figure!) chose the yellow curry. He ate the lot and said he would eat it for breakfast! We also shared Belga fries....the dips were incredible....the aioli...to die for, but nothing did!!! Our server recommended the flat bread....well, the flatbread was like nothing I’d ever eaten before since choosing my plant based lifestyle!!... the ‘cheese’ was amazing.....honestly haven’t eaten this well in a while. Anyway, you win!! You beat me, I’m currently sitting here eating it for breakfast 😂 No wonder you can’t get in this restaurant.....

Having had take out from Wildseed several time I can only heap praise on them for how incredible their is! If you have people in your group who dont believe that vegan food can be good... Wildseed will showcase the best! Personal favourites include the Spicy Sausage pizza, Neatball Masala or Curried Cauliflower

The staff were rude and precious. One dish had a strong goats cheese flavour, which has such a specific taste should have been pointed out. No a great fan.

Excellent vegan food, but a but pricey. I have been to their branch here and in Palo Alto several times and have liked it a lot! Worth the price.

It was my first visit to a Vegan restaurant with my family and friends and I found it to be delicious! We shared a Mexican Corn Cakes order as an appetizer and it was delicious! I had the Caponatina Pizza and it was also delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a great service staff! Check it out whether you are Vegan or not. You will be happy!

Interested in vegan cuisine? Try the plant-based menus at WILDSEED in San Francisco, where we tried (not in this order): almond cake, asparagus, Mexican corn cakes, orecchiette alla pugliese, and risotto primavera. I forgot I was at a vegan restaurant because the food was so tasty! It just goes to show plant-based dishes do not need to be boring!

Great place located on union street. Great selection of vegetarian plates. My veggie burger was delicious. Lovely restaurant kept up with our expectations.

The Beef Wellington (made with Impossible Beef), the creamy scalloped potatoes, the roasted carrots with tzatiki
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Stun the omnivores!
Creative, exquisite and subtle flavor profiles of Wildseed's somehow light but hearty offerings. Perfect service, ie., knowledgeable but do not talk too much; there when you want them to be. Airy, pretty room. Highly recommend the bar and bigs kudos to Wildseed's mixologist and the new charming and brilliant bartender, Eric!
