AJ from DFB sent us!

So after watching a dozen YouTube videos that mentioned how good this place was, we just knew wed have to give it a try. As a family we got an order of the Mac N Cheese Bites, the Hummus, the Meatballs, the Saganika (cheese on fire) and lots of drinks. We loved them all, but in the future would probably order two Saganikas and Mac Bites and pass on the hummus. Our server was great and the hosting staff worked to get us in earlier than our reservation. We will definitely return.

Mmm - Certainly not Disney.

By Steve P |

Although located in Disney Springs, you will not be surprised to learn that it is not run by Disney. I found the manager to be unapproachable when complaining about the innappropriate way he spoke to my daughter when she politely asked to be moved from our table. I just got the impression he has no time or consideration for English customers. Having moved onto the restaurant PaddleFish, we could not have had a more enjoyable and recoverable situation from my upset daughter's experience. A great shame as it was my daughter that recommended the bar.

Average Lunch

By Chloe Thomas |

Before today, we had never heard of Wine Bar George. We met our friends here for lunch with a last minute reservation. For an appetizer, we had the hummus. It was delicious but wish there had been more bread or cucumbers to dip with. My fiancé had the Burrata and thought it was good, but nothing crazy. I had the omelet which was good, but I was disappointed that it had two bites of mushroom and no other veggies that are mentioned. We didn’t like the limited weekend lunch menu. Can’t stand when restaurants do this! The vibes were great and it was super casual. Our waiter was great so no complaints on the service. Nothing bad, we just didn’t love it compared to other restaurants here.

Thoroughly enjoyable

By TheDandyD0ns |

My wife and I had a great time at Wine Bar George for an early evening meal. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel comfortable right away. She walked us through the menu, which was available to download by scanning a QR code, but she also gave us a paper copy of the extensive wine list. For our meal, we decided to order The Big Board, which came with six artisanal cheeses, five artisanal meats, condiments, and nibbles like mini gherkins and nuts. It was a bit pricey at $61, but it was more than enough for the two of us. To accompany our meal, we each chose a glass of wine, a Luna Nuda Pinot Grigio and a Gamay, which we both enjoyed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Wine Bar George, and although it was located in Disney Springs and slightly overpriced, we still thought it was well worth it.

Great place to go

By Wendy M |

We made a reservation to celebrate my 50th Bday to enjoy with friends. We were a bit early, but that was not a problem. The place looks really spacious & nice! We were welcomed very warm and got a table on the terras, so we could enjoy the nice weather & watch people come by :) Cocktails/Drinks were well presented & good. The food was sooooo delicious, just a pitty some items are only limited available. Would have been nice to know that upfront. Service was great and bill was correct. We will come back for sure!

Pandemic Warning

By Buddyjr848 |

This restaurant is small. Asked for outdoor seating due to a global pandemic. I was told it wasn’t possible and that we’d be placed in a corner, not near anyone. When we got seated, nearly 10 minutes later a party of 6 was sat three feet shy away from us. The restaurants setup was like if things were back to normal. Tables full, people walking around with no mask on. We didn’t feel comfortable so we left. Staff was nice but won’t be back anytime soon. Many other places to eat at the Springs with outdoor seating.

Fantastic experience

By kelmel13 |

Highly recommend for couples visit. Great atmosphere and service was exceptional. Our main server was Manny. The wine and food were stellar. We had a charcuterie board, flaming cheese, Mac and cheese bites, burrata and meatballs and shared everything. It was all great. Can’t wait to return!

Great experience at Disney Springs

By el Jimador |

From the moment we arrived until we left we had the best experience. Without a reservation they accommodated us and the bar back served us water immediately - how did he know we were so thirsty? Olivia served us our wine and was patient with our indecisiveness with the selection as well as the food. We had the charcuterie board which was delicious and the charred romaine. They are very busy but do not make you feel rushed. Jason is a great bartender who continually checked in on us. Can’t wait to return.

excellent

excellent service and taps. Unique experience all wines available glass, bottles or just and ounce for the rare expensive wines.

Steak plate

By 57andy |

The large steak plate was great, enough for three of us and good value. The wine was good and not as expensive as other WDW restaurants. We would definitely go here again and try some of the other options as well. Great service.

Good drinks, awful steak

By TIFFANYH635 |

The atmosphere is wonderful very relaxed and upscale. The cocktails we had were delicious I highly recommend their old fashions. However I do not recommend the skirt steak family meal. It was completely inedible. We may have just received a bad piece but it was more fat than it was meat. We ordered a medium rare and our server suggested that we just cook it more. There is no cooking that you could have done to this piece of meat to get it to be tender. For almost $80 I would expect a decent steak. Was very disappointed in the food. We did have the macaroni and cheese bites, those were good. I would definitely recommend this place for the cocktails however for the food there are better options within Disney. We also ate at 9 o’clock and our server was not the nicest I think because we were getting close to close. Overall I would go back and simply have cocktails but for the food I would pass. After our dinner we ended up eating at our hotel.

Best wine bar without a doubt!

By Nathan |

Hands down, the best wine bar in the country if you want to try some of the best wines in the world. 1, 3, or 6oz pours. Found on a wine app and there is a reason why George won best short wine list. I am not aware of any place where you can try numerous famous cabs, 1982 Barolo, Gaja barbaresco, Super Tuscans, Bordeaux, etc. Very Impressive! Cannot more highly recommend if you love wine.

Great experience!

By CSC |

Amazing experience at Wine Bar George. I was disappointed that we couldn’t sit outside, like so many commented, but our spot in the bar provided fun people-watching and a little bustle. Our server, Sean (sp?) was knowledgeable and helpful. Mom and I split the hummus - fantastic - and the grilled romaine. Good but needed a little bit more char. We ordered the beets at goat cheese with pistachios at the end, and both swooned. This was amazing! Our wines, based on Sean’s suggestions, were fantastic too. This was an idyllic way to spend a lunch hour on vacation.

Best dining experience in Disney

By Courtney D |

This is hands down one of the best restaurants on all of Disney property. The service is amazing and the food is even better! Highly recommend the skirt steak and the saganaki on fire. Overall great environment and amazing food

Wine lovers paradise, great atmosphere, superb wine selection, food to match

By D G |

My wife an I love our wine, having studied about wine in the recent past. I was super excited to visit this restaurant that had a large number of wines available as small samples (1-3oz), by the glass or by the bottle. They used the Coravin technology to ensure that the wine was in top condition even if only a small amount was poured out of a bottle. If you wanted to taste a flight of the “top” wines of Bordeaux, France (the first growths) then this option was open to you. Personally, travelling to another country, I like to try the domestic wines if at all possible and there was an ample supply of Californian and Oregan wines, plus plenty of South American (if you extend to the continent :)). The food that accompanied was perfect for the wine, we had a sharing platter of sea bass and two platters of skirt steak. On the whole, I felt the food was adequate in quality but in inspiring but did not detract from the wine, more complemented it. Our server was extremely friendly and the sommelier knew her stuff as we discussed the impact of malolactic fermentation on the wine… (wine nerd speak for the smooth creamy texture). Sitting on the terrace allowed us to listen to the live music at Disney Springs and people watch. I’d definitely come here again given the option. It was an expensive meal but that was mostly the wine. I think this is the only negative, the wine was not cheap, it was in the 2-3x markup category but then this is probably par for the course when you can sample by the ounce. There were plenty of cheaper wines by the glass so don’t take this as a detraction. Recommended for the oeneophile (wine lover).

A dinner at the bar was just perfect!

By evanscaribbean |

We actually got cocktails instead of wine. My French American (a perfect French 75) was tart and cold. My husband's Manhattan, just the way he likes it. We ordered a charcuterie board, and our server offered to mix meats and cheeses. (We didn't want the large board). It was excellent. Salami, prosciutto, blue cheese, a sharp hard cheese, jams, honey and baguette slices and crackers. We also shared the octopus salad, which was tender and light. It was chopped uniformly and seasoned well.

Great adult stop!

By Kdawg282 |

Stopped into This place when visiting Disney Springs and was able to grab a spot at the bar. Great drinks and good menu with many quality selections. Great atmosphere and of course Disney prices. We ordered a small plate and food was delicious but portions are extremely small. Excellent place!

Great atmosphere

Absolutely wonderful food, drinks and service. Not a bad food option on the menu. There are drinks available for everyone. We will definitely be back.

Best Meal of our Trip!

By Cryptic_Tourist |

I've been wanting to try out Wine Bar George for years after hearing so many good things about their brunch. Also I'm not a drinker so...I will have no advice for you there! But anyway. Do yourself a favor and order that charcuterie board because it is worth every penny. My husband and I ended up getting so full we couldn't order any entrees after, we did end up splitting the mac n cheese bites which were So Good. Also, our server, Orlando, was so sweet and thoughtful. He made sure I got a virgin cocktail which was so damn good! We requested balcony seating and got sat right away with a great view of Disney Springs.

Great Place in Disney Springs

By 859michaell |

Excellent food and service. The pork ribeye was actually my second choice of entree. It was a fantastic cut and prepared perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. My server recommended and paired the pork with an excellent wine that complimented the dish. My only complaint is that I was really wanting the sea bass, but it was meant for two people.

Excellent Presentation and Taste!

By jr2017H2O |

We did not have reservations through the Disney app so we just went there early about 5. They didn't seem to be that busy but said they only had room at the bar on the second floor. There were a lot of empty tables so I think they save them for Disney app reservations. I was fine with upstairs as I had read that it is quieter up there. 4 of us sat at the bar. We sampled some wines and the service was great. We ordered the sea bass, other couple had charcuterie board. I have to say I was really pleased with the seabass. Brought to us and filleted right at our seats. It was very good. Food quality was one of the best we had any place in the Disney area.

Its all good - all of it!

By Jose J |

Came with family for a nice dinner at Disney Springs. Did not disappoint! Started with spiced olives, and superb plate of meatballs with polenta and of course the Saganaki flaming cheese. Oh, cocktails too for most but I enjoyed the excellent wine selections available by the glass, followed by a bottle of red with the meal. One of us had an amazing rib eye steak that was perfectly cooked and looked great. The other three of us shared the whole sea bass which was deboned at the table for us. Wow. Can not say enough how wonderful the sea bass was. It came with a nice assortment of cooked veggies. Ended with a little cake. Really enjoyed ourselves and plan on revisiting next year when we are back in Orlando.

Great meal!

By Rubber_Duckie89 |

We enjoyed all our food and drink here! Definitely get the Saganaki on fire - what a show! We also had the hummus, and octopus salad starters. For mains we had the whole sea bass, filleted tableside it was so yummy and went a long way. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, we sat upstairs and it was a nice view, if the weather was warmer it would have been good to sit outside!

Excellent service, food, and wine.

By Gordon F |

Excellent service, food, and wine. Also appreciated the clear distancing of tables, especially so on a night where it was cold and no one could sit outdoors. They really did a good job of making patrons feel safe. On foo of that, the cheese charcuterie board was fantastic. The honey in particular is out of this world (Savannah bee company).

Our Favorite!

By celebrationbeth |

Our favorite place to go! Fabulous wine selection!🍷🥂 Fabulous food......LOVE their house made hummus plate, burrata, and the artisanal cheese board is the best! Flaming cheese......wow! The Hoot cocktail is great! Our server, Brittany, was knowledgeable and delightful! Love that she wore a mask even though we were seated outside.

A bit disappointing - terrible table but good food

By Sheenatron |

I was so excited to visit Wine Bar George but left a bit disappointed. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt with a rating of four as I am constantly haunted by the fact that maybe my expectations were too high or the terrible table location clouded my judgement. Our table was in a horrible position - see my photo (this was literally the view for the whole night). I can't believe relatively new restaurants have such bad locations designed into them for dining. We were stuck in a dead end, precariously perched at the top of the stairs in between a pile of high chairs. It's such a shame because there were so many amazing tables in the restaurant, on the balcony outside, and despite booking 60 days in advance, we had such a bad table. The atmosphere seemed to be buzzing - proper 'local wine bar' vibes with loud conversations punctuated by laughter. We loved this, but we also hated not being a part of this by being shoved in the corner. The service was pretty good, although for a wine bar I was a bit disappointed the recommendations didn't seem particularly tailored to the food - it just seemed to be the server's personal preference. It just sat a bit odd with us considering this was a winebar that makes a big thing out of wine/food being expertly paired. The food was really, really great. We're vegetarians so although the choice was limited, there was enough. The mac n cheese bites were just perfect. Superb texture and melt in the mouth stuff. Perfection. We also had roasted beets (lovely) and the most perfect burrata to enter my mouth too. Everything but our table was excellent. I'd be willing to revisit and get the real Wine Bar George experience as I'm not sure that's what we had. (and yes, TripAdvisor, this restaurant does offer high chairs for toddlers... stacks of them right next to my table)

THE place to try wines!

By Shannon L |

THE place to try wines! They offer super small pours on expensive wines you usually have to buy by the bottle. Use this technology created by a doctor that only punctures a Miniscule hole into the cork, so the flavor is retained. Was able to try Chateau Latour and Margaux and a bunch of others. Great views of springs if sitting outside upstairs.

Great food and service

By slpsomm |

The brunch was great. Stuffed French toast and brunch charcuterie. We were served very quickly. Service was very good.

An ongoing favorite for us

By IndianaSimpleton |

We have always wanted to try WBG for brunch, and we finally had the opportunity to. And...we still ended up getting non-brunch items anyway. I will say everything we saw looked outstanding. The fried chicken biscuit was calling my name. That said, we were both in the mood for something a bit lighter. As for me, I chose the Mac and Cheese bites and the Chess Pie. Both excellent. The Mac bites are always excellent, and I cannot imagine coming and not getting them. As for the chess pie, I think I was expecting a slice of pie, and it was more of a mini-pie. But, taste-wise it nailed all the marks. We just love it here and I often recommend it to anyone I know heading to Disney. Note: you can get many of the same items at the Basket if you don't have time or desire for a reservation. To me, the ambiance of the upstairs patio is just lovely and worth it to try out. But, you can still get the really great food via walk-up.

Winos love it here

By jacquie |

It’s a great atmosphere. If you love wine and charcuterie boards this is a great place to go. It’s pricey but worth it. Wine flights start at $300 but a individual glass isn’t bad.

Tasty food questionable cocktails

By Lauren R |

We got the steak to share and it was so nice! Cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese balls were incredible. As it is a wine bar I feel as though I should have got wine but instead we tried some cocktails as we didn't fancy wine. We had a mix of the old fashion frozen drink which was ok but the coffee one was not to my liking. I have no doubt the wines would have been a better choice!

Lovely Lunch @ The Springs .. ..

By Sammy N |

Heavenly locale, across from GIDEONS and a perfect place to eat away the cobwebs after a long, red-eye from the left coast .. .. MAC & CHEESE BITES were delicious and the SKIRT STEAK was tasty .. .. But the highlight for me was our CHARCUTERIE BOARD which was top-notch and mouthwatering .. .. Our server, BENJAMIN was like another member of our family and made the afternoon terrific!

Gravely Disappointed

By Buns4vs |

After watching numerous YouTube Videos, my wife and I were looking forward to having a truly great experience Nothing could have been further from what we had watched when YouTube promoters had visited. Whilst the food was indeed great, the speed of service left nothing but a bitter taste in the mouth. For a $100 a head meal, I do not expect to be rushed through in under half an hour! The ambience of the place is loud and more akin to being in a McDonalds rather than a French Wine Bar or Bistro where taking time to savour the wine and food on offer is the order of the day. It is evident from the Management, that the key focus of the operation is to push covers through rather than the experience portrayed on YouTube where George himself is seen to allow guests to enjoy their meal. Obviously, promotion is far more important than paying guests Avoid at all costs

Ffavorite Places

By Tracey G |

Wine by George. Has to be on any visitors list of places to go, Always a warm welcome, great atmosphere. The barman Bryce is very knowledgeable, and although very busy remembers what it is your drinking and is very attentive. We went in two nights in a row and Bryce had remembered our drinks. Now that's what I call 1st Class service. He is good but he has been there for since 2018 so you would expect him to be good. We love this place and visit every time we go to Orlando. It's nice also to see George himself on site most evenings. The only thing that disappointed me on this visit, was hearing a male member of staff talking badly about another member of staff. Very unprofessional in front of customers. Never had a cheese board with honey before. What a lovely idea that is.

Sumptuous

By David S |

A fabulous venue to enjoy delicious plates, and experience wine tasting at its most convenient. Loved our food. Loved the wine. Loved our server…So kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Cannot wait for a return visit!

We Will Come Back

Our friends from Orlando and we decided to come here from drinks and light lunch. Mike provided our service and the wine was good as were the food selections.

Coeliac Safe and Amazing Tasting Food!!!

By G N |

The one restaurant we found on our vacation who’s full staff server to chef were fully educated on coeliac safe food preparation and cooking practices - this gave our son confidence to eat with us! Whist many restaurants offer Gluten Free foods very few are educated and conduct food prep and cooking practices to prevent cross contact. Our server was able to advise on the practices and confirm what could / could not be coeliac safe. When clearing other tables prior to serving our table she was cleaning her hands - amazing conscientious practices. Topped by amazing tasting food and drinks. We had the charcuterie board and skirt steak - high quality ingredients cooked and presented superbly. Thank you for a memorable family meal on our holiday.

Delicious

By Jose Maria R |

Excellent food, the menu is short but varied and very good quality and preparation of dishes. It is the first time I have come to this restaurant and I am invited to return many more times. The cheese board is very good, the Humus is exquisite, the Skirt Steak is very well prepared and cooked to perfection. The burratta is great. I highly recommend it. It's a small place in the heart of Disney Springs. Do not miss it

Ask for Chris

By michelleblack |

What a fantastic meal . . . Sweet the host got us a terrific table, and Chris was such an attentive waiter. He specially created a cheese and meat board to go with our delicious drinks. Every person on staff (especially George the namesake) was working incredibly hard. Excellent gem in Disney Springs.

Dinner

By ZsaZsa |

First of all, we stop in here all the time for wine and maybe a charcuterie board here and there. We love the wine selection, the knowledge of the staff, and always excellent service with a great atmosphere. That won't change. We have heard such great things about dinner, we finally made reservations. Unfortunately, maybe due to my high expectations, we were quite underwhelmed with our dinner. We did have two small plates (fried chicken fingers on a stick and some cheese that was flamed and served with crostini type bread) and there were only two entrees (chicken and beef). Food was OK, but nothing exceptional. We were just disappointed. Possibly our least favorite meal of the whole trip. We will continue to stop in for wine and snacks, but it won't be a dinner destination for us.

Disney Springs Gem

By Jim M |

Great brunch food and excellent waiter. Nice ambience and good wine. A very nice place to eat and have a drink when in Disney Springs. Would definitely return when in area.

Great Date Place for Wine Lovers

By April S |

A fun place try new wines - great small plates - fun atmosphere. Al fresco dining IS available along the balconies overlooking Disney Springs - which means we still go here on occasion during the pandemic. All wait staff at Disney Springs are masked AND wearing face shields for added protection. We will only eat outside if we go out to eat at all right now.

Would have been a five if weren't for the service

By Tina W |

Our server must have been having a bad day. Everyone raves about here and were were looking very much forward to our dinner. We got drinks, Mac and cheese bites, and the flank steak for the table. It wasn't cheap, but it was good. We asked for suggestions for drinks and we expected lots of options. He was very dismissive, which was strange since this is what they're known for. I guess since only one of three of use were drinking alcohol, he couldn't be bothered. That said, the food was EXCELLENT and I'd definitely give it another go.

A relaxing time at the wine bar

By James S |

Family dinner including 2 children. Not a problem at the resstaurant. We requested to be seated on the second floor balcony overlooking the Disney Springs wallway. Great view and atmosphere. Frozen Dole Whip cocktail was to die for. The Working Man's Porter was also excellent. We ordered the family cheese and meat platter plus a mestball appetizer. Will definitely do this again for the wine.

A luxury food & wine experience with great value for money.

By GTW11111 |

We stopped for a drink before dinner at Wine Bar George and were so impressed by the quality of service from the staff, we decided to rebook for a meal. The atmosphere is so cool and exciting but not over powering. The choice of wines is the best in Orlando with a full range of prices to suit everyone. You can order shots of premium wines which are explained in detail by the most knowledgeable staff you’ll ever find. The staff are all exceptionally professional and very friendly too. We ordered a range of dishes, cheese & charcuterie board, meatballs, mini mac & cheese bites, roasted beet salad. The food came quickly and was of exceptional high quality, far exceeding our expectations. The food and drink prices are very reasonable too, far better value than other so called top Disney Springs restaurants like Boathouse or Wolfgang Pucks. We enjoyed it so much we’ve rebooked to go again later next week to finish our holiday on a high.

great food but disappointing wine service

By Andres G |

Had a quick late lunch with a friend sat upstairs in the bar ordered a French Syrah that was pretty good. Few apps that were good also. The problem I had we ordered 2 champagne flights with some pretty expensive and delicious champagnes. The person that poured them used the same container to pour all of them so all had traces of the sweet rose from the begging. Seems like amateur hour for such a high caliber place that specializes in wine I didn’t say anything but just disappointed

I love this place!

By isabelle |

Thank god I have found great wine & food here. I was in Lake Mary for 4 days and I could not find any restaurant with great wine and good food. Here it is like paradise. Wine is just amazing. Food is great. You can order food not fried. I loved this place. Staffs are nice and friendly even when they are very busy as the place is full. I highly recommand this restaurant. Thank you so much for the great dinner!

Wine bar and more!

By William P |

We dined here over the holiday weekend. We had reservations and sat at a high top in the bar area. We were swiftly greeted by Chris. He was very personable and on top of his game. He made our dinner thoroughly enjoyable. The mac and cheese balls are awesome. Thanks also for the vino recommendation.

Divine Place to Eat

By PennyW5 |

We had heard great things about the food & wine here and wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday there. our Server was Benjamin, who instantly made us feel welcomed and answered our myriad of questions with lots of humor and patience. My husband drank two glasses of wine, GL Sierra Cantabria Unicorn & GL Alpha Estate, both were full bodied and had great taste. We ate the small dishes of house made meatballs (2 servings), roasted beets and Burrata, all were super delicious!! But, Benjamin surprised us with the Olive Cake for my sweet hubby's birthday dessert, which was incredible!! We will definitely return in time to feast at Wine Bar George & request to be at Benjamin's table again!! Benjamin was fabulous and kept our dishes well paced so we experienced the tasting of each dish!! Such a delightful place to dine, thanks to our Server, Benjamin‼

Like Getting Excited for a New Experience then Finding Out It Didn't Quite Meet Your Complete Expectations

By SidlerGK |

Initially, frustration led this adventure, as every means available at contacting Wine Bar George FAILED... from (multiple) attempted phone contacts (to their online posted number), to attempting to set reservations for our group of 10 -via OpenTable (which wouldn't allow for groups over 6), to emails, to phone calls directly to Disney Entertainment -where the wait time was well over an HOUR! Normally, we would have simply blown past this apparent disregard for their customers and gone elsewhere; however, because we were making these reservations for Family coming in from multiple locations we decided to try one last effort. My wife and I decided to do an OpenTable reservation for two for a much closer date to not only see someone in person, but to feel out the restaurant's worth as well. Our trip of nearly 100 miles (round), we thought, better be worth it. Besides, being at Disney Springs meant that we would have multiple options if Wine Bar George didn't pan-out. Upon our arrival, we were greeted professionally, and immediately worked with us on arranging the future (group) date. However, their excuse of "we're in the process of installing a new phone system" fell on deaf ears, as I couldn't imagine an organization as big as Disney could possibly not have planned a smooth system transfer of phone connectivity!??! OK, onward to the actual visit... Although the ascetics were clean and modern (what one would expect from a Disney property), our seating felt like we were at a table that was hastily set up in the bar room (little ambiance). Our waiter was polite and professional, but spoke so softly that we must have asked him to repeat himself at least half dozen times. For our appetizer, we chose "The Big Board" that consisted of six artisanal cheeses and meats, along with a sundry of exceptionally good condiments! Although quite pricey, this was definitely the "center stage" of our experience here. Following this, our main entree was the "Grilled Whole Greek Sea Bass" (for two), that was well-presented with cannellini bean ragout, and seasonal vegetables. Unfortunately, this tasted over-cooked, as the meat was almost tasteless and actually tasted watered-down. Lastly, we endeavored to try our waiter's recommendation of what they referred-to as "The Chocolate Experience," which was a "pairing demonstration" of three wines and three different types of chocolate (white, milk, and dark). Unfortunately, the wine selection is made by the restaurant (no option for customer request and/or input here), and each of the selected wines (which amounted to only about 2oz each) were -at least to us- horrible... like drinking pure cane sugars. Finally, the MaiTai and Old Fashion mixed drinks (for us) were made exceptionally well. In short, we will be visiting Wine Bar George again in October -when the group arrives. At that time, however, we'll most likely have the "Big Board" (again), as well as trying their Short Ribs. But the Sea Bass and Chocolate Experience will definitely be off the table. Bottom line was that the price tag (of two hundred dollars) didn't come close to what we would have expected.

Awesome appetizers and food

By Tom K |

Started out with olives and fried mac and cheese balls. I'm not a huge fan of Mac and cheese, but these were amazing. Had the skirt steak for $76. Shared between 4 people. Had potatoes and broccolini with it and was great. I would recommend this place at Disney springs.

Get A Frozcato, You Won’t Regret It

By LaurenMReich |

I was very excited to try Wine Bar George because of all the fantastic reviews, and, even though I’m not a big alcohol/wine drinker, it really lived up to the hype. There is a wine (or several) for anyone including me who went with the Dole Whip frozcato which was so delicious that I’m still dreaming about. I loved the atmosphere and the food was very good! The hummus plate was delicious (I recommend asking for more pita bread/cucumbers in order to finish up the hummus), the friseé salad was refreshing, the meatballs were fantastic, and my friend adored the mac & cheese bites. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

Juan so rude - apparently the manager

By londongirl443 |

Juan so rude - I’m sure it’s nice - it was a recommendation. Can’t stand rude staff and not used to bad service in Disney of all places.

Fun variety of new wines!

By TravelChill55 |

This is our favorite place to end a Disney weekend. There are dozens of great new wines to try, delicious food and consistently friendly and knowledgeable service.

Great place to unwind with a glass of wine

By Danielle M |

I’ve been to Wine Bar George a few times. I’ve always had great serving staff. Very engaging. Wine list is extensive and the cheese board and warm spiced olives are good. It’s a great place to unwind and be away from the Disney crowd. Downstairs is a bit more loud but I like the upstairs as it is quieter.

Excellent - exactly as recommended!

By dunedinx2 |

Recommended by Tim Tracker - superb meal, meatballs then skirt steak - worth waiting for. Came from uk

Nice place to eat

By GillJon2013 |

Popped in for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. Loved the frose ! Had meatballs and steak frites and both were good. Drinks are pricey though.

Great experience.

By patramsey |

We couldn't have been happier with our trip to Wine Bar George in Disney Springs. I couldn't get a reservation for an early dinner, so we almost decided to cancel our reservation. But luckily we didn't. We got great recommendations for wine and decided on the wine on tap. Great. And then we tried some of their food and couldn't have been happier. The pork belly was fall so good and the other food we shared between the 3 of us was amazing. We sat outside and were able to hear the concert on the plaza right below. We loved out experience there. We tried to come back the next night and unfortunately they were sold out, so make a reservation if you want to get in.

Very knowledgeable

By M2144KEtracyk |

Chris was amazing, all four of us tried new wines based on his recommendation, and we were all thrilled with the wines. And you get to taste prior to trying something new. Food is always great, the olives were unexpectedly tasty!

An intimate bite to eat

An intimate bite to eat in the midst of chaos! The hustle and bustle of Disney springs can be overwhelming! But the wine bar provided a much needed escape for my husband and I! We both ordered drinks then split the cheese tray and the chicken skewers- this was the perfect amount of food for a “pick-me-up”. The atmosphere is romantic and calm! The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious!

Fantastic experience!

By Kdawg282 |

We visited the Wine Bar during a recent visit with work and I enjoyed this stop! We did not eat a full meal, we ordered drinks and a few small plates. Everything we had was delicious. The food was excellent and appropriately portioned. Every drink was great as well. Their wine selection was extensive and I found the mixed drinks excellent. Our server was great! Highly recommend.

Scrumptious!

By Johanna B |

1. I haven't had such scrumptious salmon since I left Alaska! 2. The French Toast was tadiefor! 3. The cheese board was so great that I took some of it home as my dessert! It was pricey but we'll worth it for a special occasion!

Good food but GREAT Service!!!!!!

By Powderburner |

We stopped in on a Monday afternoon so a few small plates to share. It was a vey day out so we asked to sit outside which we were allowed to do. This is our second time at this restaurant and the first time the service was spotty at best. This time the service was outstanding. I really can’t say enough about how great the service was. We tried the Humus and the meatballs and they were good. I had wanted to try the pork dish all the YouTuber’s are talking about but they were out of it. Which is weird for a Monday afternoon. So I ordered the steak and frites and that was outstanding. I will go back just for that.

A fun evening

By gscharlesw |

This was fun! WBG offers a great opportunity to try a range of wines, with good food as an accompaniment. Service was very attentive and friendly, and our server was knowledgeable and obliging. The food range is limited, but what they offer is to a high standard. But make no mistake, this is really about enjoying wine. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you expect that from most restaurants in Disney Springs. Value for money and a memorable evening for two couples - most definitely!

Great dining option for couples

By ssk |

This was our second time visiting Wine Bar George and we will keep coming back. What’s not to love. Excellent wine choices, great food (we ordered large charcuterie board and flanks steak) and outstanding service. Courtney, our server was knowledgeable, efficient and really nice. That’s been our experience both times: excellent service. Probably not a great choice for young children but our teenager loved it.

Best Overall Experience in Disney Springs

By carpsonthego |

Great venue, excellent service, awesome brunch and perfect view for people watching in Disney Springs. Christian was attentive but not smothering, he had insightful recommendations and really wanted to make our 1st visit remarkable. Great Job! We had well portioned steak & eggs, macaroni bites, chicken & biscuit…two adult beverages for under $100. High food quality and guest experiences made this a great value for us. Can’t wait to try dinner some time. George even said hello on his way by.

As Usual--Wine Bar George is AMAZING!

By PSUDanO23 |

As usual, an amazing experience at our favorite Wine Bar. George has created a restaurant that well serves the novice to expert in wine. We enjoyed a flawlessly prepared Saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) followed by the superb meats and cheeses from the "Big Board" charcuterie offering. Service was fun, timely, knowledgeable and almost flawless. Come for the wine, stay for the experience.

An impressive oasis!

By Randelwood |

I wish Wine Bar George was here in our hometown! If you like a healthy range of price and selection in wines, this is the place for you! They have multiple options including some selections at 1oz-3oz-6oz-whole bottle, while others are offered in 6oz and whole bottle options. An 11"x14" paper with whites on one side and reds on the other, as well as other menu options like the hard cider my husband purchased. He even took a picture of the can to see if someone was able to get it in here at home! The barback (I'm guessing? He greeted us and gave us waters and said that any wines we would like could be ordered from the other man behind the bar) was very friendly and looked to be doing a good job of handling multiple tasks. The gentleman who took my wine oder definitely fit the part! Demeanor, appearance etc etc all on point for what you would expect from such an establishment. He was able to answer all of my questions and even got me a to go glass for my wine when our dinner reservation at The Boathouse was ready. I would recommend Wine Bar George to anyone who's looking for a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of D.S., anyone who loves wine, anyone who's curious about wine, anyone looking for a quality high end feeling experience, or heck.....anyone who's got some time to kill! My only regret is that we weren't able to spend more time here.

Best Brunch Ever!

By Edwelsh |

All group of 4 all agreed, this was the best brunch we’ve ever had, anywhere. My Eggs Benedict were great, this is the way they should be prepared. Sausage Gravy & Biscuits were delicious, as was the omelette. The side of bacon just looked like regular bacon, but it was so good. Frozcato w Dole Whip, amazing! I know, this review is way too glowing. Okay, the Key Lime Pie was just a little tort, not great. Everything else, including the service, the wine, the view, the atmosphere was just... fantastic!

Wonderful romantic dinner

By Browncm6 |

Wonderful place for a romantic dinner. We had a nice bottle of cote du Rhône and the flank steak. Both were amazing. The steak said “for 2-4 people.” The two of us devoured it all! Yum! We also had the olive appetizer which was nice. Service was fantastic. Christian was amazing—attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Great food great service not a great spot for kids

By CabKings |

Makevreservation online for lunch or dinner. Check in at front desk and enjoy fantastic small plates. Octopus salad, Burrata and tomatoes, BLT sandwich at lunch are all really good. Very good staff working tables and the wines available are unique and very well made.

Nice dinner

By Erica D |

I wanted to love this place, but at the end of the day it was only average. Our table in a corner by the elevator didn't help. Also, our waiter took off before getting our full order, so my husband ate while I waited on my dishes. I know it's supposed to be small shared plates, but as I don't eat meat the meatballs were not shareable. The wine was very good, and the selection excellent. I'd like to give it another try.

Oasis in Disney Springs

By Ntrekker |

Had a late light lunch here. We did not have wine but they had an impressive collection. Jason our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the grilled romaine and the big board - meat and cheese platter. The frozen drinks were great. We had the Frozcato with dole whip, Frose and Friezling with dole whip. Had a nice table on the second floor. Nice wide plank floors! Highly recommended for a leisurely afternoon in the 95 degree Florida heat!

Lovely setting, but left feeling conned due after below par ‘service’ and bad attitude of management

By michelle w |

We visited last night as a group of 4 mums having a drink while our daughters shopped. Initially service was a little slow despite being seemingly quiet, but we weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t an issue. We were seated inside but asked if we could sit outside on the balcony. This request seemed to go through a number of people before we were shown to another table. The bar is in a lovely setting overlooking the complex. Once seated again it took a little while before being offered a drink of our order being taken. We received our drinks and one of the party ordered a small plate. Shortly after, our daughters came by to update us on where they were headed next and stayed no more than 10 minutes. Unfortunately two of them pulled up a chair from an empty table. It was still quiet at this time and nobody indicated that this was in any way a problem. As they left they returned the chairs. When receiving the bill we were shocked, and quite disappointed, to find that this short interaction with our daughters had been considered to make us a party of 6+ and incurred an 18% service charge…despite them receiving no service, and ours being ordinary at best. We questioned this with our server who immediately responded that the manager had added it when our daughters arrived. We queried it further and, just like with the request for a table move at the start of our visit, it required a number of interactions before the manager finally arrived. His attitude was confrontational, bordering on aggressive from when he arrived, which seemed entirely over the top and unnecessary given that it was 4 women calmly querying a billing issue. I would imagine with a different group it could have been quite inflammatory, or maybe he just felt it was ok to behave this way towards women and would have been less condescending to a mixed group. He told us ‘the gratuity will be staying’ and justified it saying we had prevented them from using the other table at their busiest time, despite there being plenty of empty tables. When we asked why somebody hadn’t raised the issue at the time, he went on to tell us how grateful we should be that they had let our daughters in when they could have ‘thrown them out’. We were getting nowhere as his idea of ‘hospitality and service’ clearly differed greatly from ours, so paid the bill including service charge and left. It felt like this wasn’t the first time he had done this and must be a nice little money earner on the side. Just worth being aware of before you visit.

The best wine experience in Orlando

By Mario Henrique M |

The meal is not the focus. Here the focus is on the wines. Letter divided by grapes, not by regions. One of the most complete in Orlando. From simpler and very honest wines to Château Margaux, Château Haut-Brion and others of this level. It is possible to make a tour of wines sitting at a table. It is possible to order per cup or per dose, so it becomes feasible to try several wines at the same time, without an absurd expense. Amazing experience. I'll go again.

Disney Springs and the Orlando area have much better offerings than WBG.

By 2Here4Fun |

I need to begin this review by questioning what we envisioned WBG to be. We were under the impression that this was a mid-range to fine dining restaurant. It is not. It is a bar. So maybe our expectations were off from the start. Not sure why WBG get such a high rating...By far our worse dining experience on this trip. Our family dinners on this trip were at The Boathouse, Yak and Yeti and Bosphorous (off Disney Property) and all were significantly better than WBG in regards to service and food. We had reservations for dinner, arrived about 30 minutes early. Asked to be seated in what was a restaurant that was maybe 50% full. First stop, high top by the front door at the downstairs bar...we asked for a non-high top table. After a minute we were directed upstairs to a rather small table that would seat 2 people at best (if eating) 4 people (if only drinking). There were 4 of us I looked at the gentlemen Host trying to seat us at this tiny table and said "There is no way this table is going to work." Why do I have to tell the host this, well he sat us near the bar upstairs while very nice tables in the dining area remained vacant. Throughout the night we watched this same host attempt to seat parties of 4 guests at this tiny table; they all asked to be moved. I don't understand...either a poorly trained host or a poorly managed restaurant. As far as food, we ordered many small plates and one main. The main, Skirt Steak, was very good and the best thing we ate, the Saganaki was also very tasty and a good quality cheese...everything else was mediocre...with the meatballs being a disappointment. Since we read all the positive reviews about WBG and saw it's high rating we made two reservations before our trip. One was for Tuesday evening the other for Thursday evening (party of 6). Needless to say only the two who were not at the first dinner visited on Thursday evening. The original four of us agreed that we were not going to deal with a host who walks you around from one crappy table to the next in order to have an average meal. Our other two family members who went on Thursday evening ultimately agreed with our assessment...many better dining options in Disney Springs.

A good place to eat in Disney Springs.

By Upstate Traveler |

Located in Disney Springs, this is one of the better food venues in this setting. It is casual. There were not a lot of choices of food, but the portions were plentiful and good. We recommend eating on the upper level. Service by Dakota was attentive and considerate.

A great dining experience with unique dishes

By SharonAJ |

We’ve been before so had booked when returning with family. Great table on the outside terrace, friendly service and great food. Recommend the sharing boards and the skirt steak. Nice menu and different from the usual Disney fare. Recommend, in fact we went twice in a week.

Great lunch spot

By c2234 |

Just popped in for lunch and had a great time. We had a sandwich each (I had chicken salad) and could be one of the best sandwiches I’ve had! Paired nicely with a chilled glass of white wine which we then finished on the balcony.

Brunch - Would Not Recommend

By Jen0305 |

Hostess and waiter not friendly or enthusiastic. Maybe they were having an off day but it didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. House-Made Naan was good. How can you really go wrong other than it being a very small portion. I tried the Shakshuka for my Main Plate. I did not care for it. My husband had the Fried Chicken biscuit. It was decent. We each had a frozen drink. Both not great. This place was recommended to us by a popular YouTuber in Orlando. It is one of their favorite places to eat at. Maybe I would try this place again but definitely not for brunch. It honestly was our least favorite meal of our entire vacation.

Best Food and Service

By michelle c |

Cannot wait to go again. Highly recommend the octopus salad, macaroni bites, the whole snapper and the churrasco steak. I had great wine recommended by our waiter. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Upstairs terrace nice

By Big Red of Boston |

If you’re coming here for a meal this is not a good choice. This is a small plate tapas bar. The meatballs were delicious and they offered adding an additional one for our party of four. If you like cheese and meats you’ll like the charcuterie board. Wine selection was good. Service was very good.

Great dinner

By zdaati |

Nice place with great service and tasty sharing food. Started of with cold cheese and meat cuts, the burning cheese was nice, pork belly tasty and some mac bites. The cut steak and whole fish we shared for the main with fries. Great choice of wines. Not cheap but great service and very tasty food.

Great from start to finish

By John G |

Made two reservations for dinner at this restaurant. Our experience was amazing. The decor was unique and the entire staff was both welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the wine selection was vast and varied. Making this experience even better was the excellent service we received both evenings. All COVID protocols were strictly enforced.

The wine tasting experience with Master Sommelier George Miliotes is a must do for wine lovers!

By dr_reagan |

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and both enjoy wine. When I saw that there was a Master Sommelier, one of only 279 in the world, that offers a wine tasting class at his restaurant in Disney Springs, it was a must do! We were very happy we did! Mr. Miliotes knowledge of wine is astonishing. He actually shares this knowledge freely and hopes that everyone gains some of this knowledge for their own personal wine journey. The highlight of our recent Disney visit.

Perfect in Every Way

By Explore STJ |

We visited on a very chilly Sunday afternoon. I believe it was about 30 or so degrees outside. We reserved a table via the Disney app about an hour before we arrived and were pleased to be put in a sunny corner on the second floor. We had a cheeseboard, and our son had chicken tenders. The cheese board was incredible. Kyle was our waiter and suggested several glasses of wine to sample. We splurged on a couple of glasses of Brunello di Montalcino Biondi Santi, and I am so happy we did! This was our first visit, but it will not be our last. We will definitely stop by again the next time we are at Disney Springs.

The wine they advertised was not available.

By LightPacker685399 |

The wine they advertised was not available and the staff member tried to get us to take the 2016 over the 2017 that was $28 more per bottle. We declined and she offered a nice compromise, but I just felt the entire experience was very overpriced for tapas. 2 small meatballs, $14, meat and cheese plate $60. I feel the customers are paying for the extremely high rent being charged by Disney and a mediocre experience, with the expectation to pay prices that when matching it to quality, is a big disconnect. Stick with local restaurants in the Orlando area and stay clear of the Disney, over the top, pay to do everything experiences, with a big exclamation !!! across the board on dining.

Hugh Disappointment

By msp977 |

Looked forward to eating here for years, but never had the right group of people. Server & ambience were just ok. Some food was good (but not great) - meatballs & flaming cheese. Chicken salad sandwich was poor. Best food item was the side of fries which were a last minute add on; they were hot, crispy & only $4. One member of party was gluten free. There was no gluten free roll & gluten free crackers could have been so much better. We buy better regularly at the grocery store. Doubt will ever return here

No frills but good

By SLIPER |

It’s a nice place they need a little stepping up on the service which isn’t bad it just seems bla and so does the restaurant. They have a lot of appetizers but not so much for the main course but the food was good and the wine menu seemed all right and I’m not a wine person I say give it a shot and you’ll be back enjoy

Night Out with Family

By Ronald H |

Having visited Disney Springs a number of times, we have walked by this place a number of times, but tonight we had dinner here. I was very impressed with the selection, a little different from the average restaurant, but in a good way. Food was great and service was even better as Courtney made it a wonderful experience. We will be back.

Okay...Need Better Systems

By Taylor M |

The food was great, but we weren't seated for over an hour even though we had a reservation. This would not have been a problem, but the restaurant does not have a system to inform the patrons of this. I had to keep going back and checking. We eventually saw people being let in and were allowed in, but it soured the experience.

Great Lunch !

By FTichy |

It is a high end wine bar, but we just had a great lunch! There is indoor and outdoor seating and when the weather permits, it's super nice to sit outside. The service was really good and the food came out quickly (not many people for lunch when we got there). The food was very good. Good portions and great presentation. It was just a really nice time ..... great service, great food and the weather was great. It's not on the cheap side (nothing at Disney Springs is) but you can chalk it up to an experience. Very worth it.

Best frozen mimosas!

By Carol M |

Amazing brunch! Best frozen mimosas, so many different choices. Good service. Great drinks to go on the side as well.

Children? In a high end wine bar?

By Kelly M |

I love Wine Bar George. A group of us go each year while on vacation and always look forward to a daylong food and wine experience with the opportunity to experience hard to find wines. We were shocked to find that 3 hours into our day, the wait staff started setting up 2 long tables next to us which ended up containing one table of 6 adults and one table of 8 children ages 5-10. The children were screaming and cutting up. We ended up requesting to be moved to another room which inconvenienced our wonderful wine expert Collin. But we just weren’t willing to endure a table full of small children while we were spending $1,000 for our annual experience. First of all, shame on the parents for thinking it appropriate to bring children into a high end wine bar. And shame on Wine bar George for allowing it.

Depends what you're looking for

By Efusco |

This trip to Disney we were on a mission to try new places we'd missed on prior trips. For Wine Bar George my wife and I were meeting a friend for wine and dinner. My wife and I arrived early (our guest arrived late) so we asked to sit at the bar while we waited and thought we'd have a drink. We were impressed with the wine list and options, but I was in the mood for a cocktail. When I asked the bartender for recommendations he was really dismissive and indifferent. Finally suggested the old fashioned (boring), but I chose to try it. And, honestly, I wish I hadn't. It was sweet, weak on alcohol, and very generic. We moved to a table for dinner and found the dinner menu to be quite underwhelming with very limited options. Essentially there are 4 entrees to choose from, 2 are individual, 2 are family/shared. I ordered the NY Strip steak and it was really no better than you can get at Texas Road House or Western Sizzlin'. Fancier presentation, but this was a very mediocre cut and despite asking for a Rare+ it came much closer to the medium side of medium rare. The chicken dish my wife had was, likewise, underwhelming for the price. I also ordered one of their on-tap wines with dinner. It was red wine but it was served ice cold. I expect better at a wine bar...heck, I expect better at a local dive bar. It was not really drinkable for quite some time until it warmed up and, for the price, was not much better than a twelve-dollar bottle you can get anywhere. We did not try any of the high end wine options. And, I suspect, that's where WBG would really shine. There are some unique options that I just have never seen anywhere else if you are willing to lay out some cash for some really rare/special wines. I think others might have a different experience, esp. if you're going for a more social/casual experience to really engage in the wine options, maybe with food as a secondary aspect, but for a primary dinner location, I think there are better options with a lot more variety at a better price.

Try the Skirt Steak

By Rockyroscoe |

Not the cheapest restaurant we ate at but this is great value based on the quality of the food and wine. The menu is excellent and everything we ordered was delicious. Huge selection of wine. I highly recommend the skirt steak. Absolutely delicious. Our serve, Allie, was lovely, helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend

Worst of all reservations that i have made

By Julio S |

Very un unprofessional staff, they had enough room to accommodate our group but they didint want to do it, an we even made a reservation. From the moment we arrived the ladies at the front and the manager tried to arguement why we arrive 2 minutes past of reservation time, why they dont like big groups (10 people or more). They appeared to be in a confrontation mood. It was a bunch of excuses, blame on us mixed with anger. The worst of all..

Not what I expected

By jdjohn10 |

This was our first time at Wine Bar George. We've wanted to visit for years and finally decided to book a reservation due to the rave reviews. We were so excited to try it out. To start, we got there early for our reservation and ended up waiting about a half an hour after our reservation before we were seated. Our server was not very friendly and didn't seem to want to be bothered when we asked her what wines would pair well with our food. The drinks were good, but the food was just ok. When we got home, I noticed that we were charged twice for two of the drinks when we only had one each. That's our fault for not catching it at the restaurant, but the drinks were not cheap and I'm certainly not happy that we were charged for drinks that we didn't even get. I don't really understand the rave reviews because we were not impressed.

Unfriendly bartenders

By Rachel C |

Went in for a drink with my family while waiting for a reservation at another restaurant. We sat at the bar for a drink, and let me tell you, Paul the bartender was not friendly, pleasant or attentive. We kept having to flag him down, and he seemed “annoyed” when we asked for additional drinks. Unfortunately first impressions are everything, and it’s a shame that this restaurant doesn’t seem to care about guests experiences because it’s I. A tourist location. Would not recommend, and definitely would not go back.

Fun and Great Food

By Illinois M |

Kind of taps-like. You can order small plates. Young adults loved the mac and chees balls. We all went crazy over the skirt steak platter. It was SO GOOD. Didn't love the burrato but the saganaki was fun. Would like to try the brunch some time.

Great restaurant in Disney springs

By blair12432 |

Was able to make dinner reservation for a new year's eve, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had the 2 family meals in the menu and was cooked as requested. A bit pricey but then again it's in Disney property.

A great meal

By nugenthorne_79 |

Had a great meal which included the skirt steak which we shared as a family. There is enough for a family of 4 but would say we need a couple of starters as well. The wine was great and a large selection to chose from. The price like all restaurants in Disney springs is high but it is worth the price. My only negative comment is they cleared the plates while my husband was still eating and also gave us the bill before offering us coffee or desserts - which seems to be the norm for American restaurants!

Nice upscale wine bar for adults

By hook5966 |

This is a great bar. Let me say that again, a bar. This should not be the place you bring the kids. While it is upscale and not the raucous sports bar, it is a nice place for dating couples or friends to go have some nice wines without screaming kids. There is a very limited food menu, that again does not cater to kids so leave them at home. All of the small bites we tried were extremely good. Try the crispy mac&cheese! The wines were also very good. Everything is over priced. The service is outstanding. The server knew the wines well and did an excellent job at making recommendations or even just matching our tastes.

A little pricey.

By u2lemon78 |

A little pricey. Great atmosphere and food. We ordered the big charcuterie board ($60). Everything on the board pared up well. Everything on that palette was a good combination. I had the moscato (my taste palette) I just wished it was a hair sweeter. The hubby had a bold red ($20 a glass) that our waiter Mike picked out. He commented it went well with the charcuterie. It was a place we always wanted to try. Now we can mark it off the list.

I am so disappointed! Made

By dparker20 |

I am so disappointed! Made a reservation for Valentines Day almost 2 months ahead for 6:30pm. Killed myself at work, rush home, got ready, had make up done, nails ect and could not get in. Called got a voice mail and called again to find out that even though all areas said at capacity we could of parked at the surface parking lot and showed our reservation to get in. Why they would not state that before in our reservation. Missed it as it was already 30 minutes late because of the crazy traffic of people trying to get in, tried to eat some where and as you know it’s now 7:30pm and could get in no where, went home, so disappointed for our night! That’s all, I know the foods good, that why I booked 🥲

Horrible service, good food and wine.

By Ch C |

The food and wine was excellent but the service was so horrendous as to ruin the entire experience. Ordered the warm olives and a charcuterie board paired with a white wine. The food was excellent and the was tasty and refreshing. My bartender on the other hand seemed more interested in a book that he and the other waiters were reading than me. He would swing by quickly ask if everything was okay and then right back to the book. Gave the impression that the book was his focus and I was the distraction. When I went to pay with my Disney magic band he said his machine was down and he would have to run it upstairs. Then he asked me to pay using another form of payment. Once again giving the impression that I was an inconvenience to him. Come for the food and wine but do not expect quality or for that matter even adequate service.

Excellent food and service!

By Mark |

We actually just came at first for the pork belly but as we walked past other customers to our table saw this delicious looking skirt steak. It was served family style and it was so worth it! The wine selection was abundant and Adrian was awesome! Keep up the amazing job guys! I'll be back! Also thank you for taking good care of my mother this became her early mother's day celebration!

Alcoholic Dole Whip!

By CiaraDW23 |

I heard many good things about this place and finally got to try it for myself.. the menu was limited (not sure if it's always like this or just because we dined during the pandemic). Not a whole lot stood out to me other than the Mac and cheese bites and the alcoholic dole whip. Probably won't go there again for any food but it's a great bar with many options

Mixed feelings

By Paul C |

Sadly a really mixed review. We went for some wine and snacks, were seated promptly, but then sat there for 10 minutes with staff walking about but no attention at all paid to us. I went back to the host to asked to be moved to an upstairs outside table and was told I had to wait at my present table and she would send someone up immediately to “assign” a table to us. We waited another 10 minutes so we then asked a waitress if she could move us. (Annoyingly, there was only one table outside occupied). She finally returned to move us. So this really did ruin the first experience of the wine bar with the four of us. We felt like we were a nuisance being there. It’s sad, because the food was great, our waitress was excellent (after all the initial waiting) and the view from the balcony outside tables is lovely. If management could be more attentive to its clients I would happily go back often. I will try next year when we return to see if it improves.

Nothing special

By wweny |

Had to make an early reservation even though when we were there, the restaurant never filled up. Food was so-so, nothing to write home about. Stayed with appetizers and they were brought out 10 minutes after we ordered so mostly pre-made. Wines were all over the place pricewise and not really to our taste. We are big wine drinkers but this restaurant caters to a younger crowd. Disappointed overall but for some it will be perfectly acceptable.

Worst brunch ever

By Kathleen |

Ordered the eggs Benedict. Hash browns at the bottom were black and tasted burnt. The chicken sausage was a grey disk not flavorful but some heat. And the poached eggs were more hardboiled than poached. If there was a sauce on it you couldn't tell.

Just average in my opinion

By Gary W |

Having seen this on a variety of food vlogs we decided to try it. Let me begin by saying the staff was awesome. We had a reservation and but were seated not a minute before our time keep in mind the dining area was fairly empty. I was not happy with my table it was at the top of the stairs beside a pile of high chairs in a dark corner. We asked if we could change and to be honest it seemed to me that staff is kind of afraid of "George". They checked and put us in the room with all the glass at a "high top". Apparently, asking to be seated in a reasonably pleasant area is a little out of the ordinary for them. I am NOT criticizing the staff but the feeling I got was there are rules and they need to be followed. As I sat, I looked around through our whole meal and noticed that there were other empty tables so I did not understand why we had been seated initially what was in my opinion the worst seat in the house. I realize this is a wine bar but, I felt like amenities were lacking. First there is no bread service ( I know how gauche of me). We got the flaming cheese and it was okay. I t was a good show but hardly enough crostini to accommodate the cheese. Next we ordered the Pork Pluma, again about 3 oz ( being generous ) of pork with a ton of slaw on top priced at 28.00 as an appetizer. The main course was the skirt steak for four. I asked for medium well and it came out medium rare. The accompaniments were broccolini which was very "al dente" and some roasted potatoes perhaps equaling at best two small potatoes. I was not impressed. I had at least hoped for cloth napkins but was kind of disappointed when I was given cheap paper. This was a very small meal because we intended to walk around Disney Springs and try some other offerings. The bill was around 150.00 with no alcohol. I know I am in the minority when rating this restaurant but I would never go back! It is I guess a matter of taste but there better restaurants at Disney Springs, Boat House being one of them. I think this restaurant is one that prides itself on being chic . Also, because we went only for the food and were not looking to drink so early in the night perhaps we missed something. That does not take into account the paper napkins, and just okay food. I think it is a matter of the Emperor has no clothes. People rave about it but do not really analyze it in reality. If you are looking for white table cloths, and a bit of elevated service go to Boathouse. Again let me emphasize the staff is great! I just think that the whole experience is overrated as far as the actual food is concerned.

Wonderful experience…

We attended a private event, and everything was excellent. Top-notch service, wine, and food. The service was impeccable, and the hospitality truly genuine. I want to personally thank all the friendly, professional staff that worked at the private event on Monday evening as they made the evening even more special. Delicious charcuterie, loved the meatballs & the Bronzino and the wines are truly Supernacular. It was a bonus to chat with George, a master sommelier, about many of the wines. I will be recommending this restaurant to many others. If you enjoy wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and delicious wine, this restaurant is for you.

Best dining experience made even better by two staff Bree and Brett

By traveler052 |

Arrived for our reservation and was met by Bree, the most delightful and attentive hostess who took us to table and a great waiter Brett. The food is superior at this restaurant and the wine list is extensive. Brett knows his wine and knows how to pace service for a wonderful dining experience. We recommend this place and these two without hesitation

Brunch was a perfect meal!

By DM Church |

My friend and I took a quick "Girl's Trip" in October 2020 to WDW and we decided to reserve a brunch spot on our last day. It turned out to be the best meal of our trip! Everything on the brunch menu looked very appetizing but we wound up getting the Steak Frites and Burrata to share with a couple of Dole Whip drinks. The frozen drinks are yummy and work really well with brunch. The Steak Frites was cooked a very medium-rare and was tender and delicious with perfectly seasoned fries and nice, runny fried egg on top of it all. The Burrata was creamy, with thick bacon, fresh avocado and tomato on a warm ciabatta. Both dishes were excellent and filling. I would glad have brunch here again. The prices, at least for brunch, were good for the quality of food. The restaurant has two floors, on the ground floor where the hostess is, has a large bar with plenty of bar stools around, the second floor was bright and open with an outdoor balcony setting are. The décor is industrial and makes the restaurant rather down-to-earth in feel. A nice mix of the unpretentious but with quality. Our waiter was handling a lot of tables, but the drinks came quickly and the food followed soon after. There was no hoovering by our waiter but since we had what we wanted and were enjoying our meals, it was fine that we only got that "how we doing?" when our plates were almost empty. Good experience, delicious brunch. Would gladly go again!

Excellent food, atmosphere and service

By jlsjchal |

We were visiting Disney Springs in the morning and hadn't had breakfast yet. We didn't have any dining reservations but decided to stop into Wine Bar George to see if they had any availability. The hostess politely told us they didn't have any availability (meaning no tables available) all day but they did have availability at the bar both downstairs and upstairs; we decided to go upstairs. We had a great server and great food. We happened to hit it during brunch. We shared the Mac and Cheese Bites, which are delicious and we may go back just for those. I had the Omelette and my husband had the Crispy Chicken and Eggs. I asked if the omelette came with anything and it didn't (except the veggies listed on the menu) but our server said it was a pretty good omelette but I could add a side to it if I wanted to. I ended up ordering the potato bacon hash - trust me when I say I did not need the hash. The omelette was HUGE. It was really really good, best omelette I have ever had. My husband really really enjoyed his dish as well. We will be back again for sure! Service was quick and excellent, this may be a new favorite of ours downtown.

Birthday / Unwind Dinner

By Jorge T. |

We ate here as a nice birthday dinner. The place has great decor, very modern chic with very friendly faces of staff all around. Amanda (WHO IS AMAZING: PLEASE REQUEST HER, SHE IS SO KNOWLEDGABLE, KIND AND HELPFUL!) was our server and I genuinely think she added so much to our experience. She was very attentive, keeping our waters no lower than 3/4s and brought us refills half way through our drinks. Thanks again, Amanda! (PS: she has a very familiar face, if you figure out - please let me know LOL!) We got the cheese board and Mac & Cheese balls to start (definitely recommend both). There aren’t too many vegetarian options (which I was fine with) but the hummus & the grilled romaine hit the spot but I recommend the hummus AT LEAST! My sister got the chicken, which she loved & recommends, and my mother & nephew split the skirt steak (which they mentioned was a bit chewy, but we didn’t say anything because they got a more well done cooking temperature so maybe be cautious of that). The mock tails were great, the wine was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. Will definitely be back, and will recommend our other Disney goer friends.

Enjoyable experience but noisy.

By TRS |

Enjoyed the experience. Sat outside upstairs and it was too noisy with loud music on the speakers and live music across the way. Sun was in a very bad spot the first half hour. Waitress was excellent. Food was good. Menu is pretty limited.

Go to Hangerbar instead.

By Psycop |

85.00 dollars for the following 1 beer, 1 non alcohol drink, 1 hummus plate, and 1 cheese board that had ( 4 cheese, olives, almonds, and honey. I know Di sney World is expensive, but this was so average.

Rude staff

By M S |

Heard good things so stopped in. Extremely pompous staff, give me a break you are at Disney Springs not Napa Valley. Whatever. Won't go back.

Dissatisfied

By Rhonda H |

My daughter and I visited this restaurant on our first day of our Disney vacation based off the recommendation of Tim Tracker. We ordered the Mac and cheese balls appetizer and it was excellent. I ordered the steak and eggs. The eggs were great but the steak was very tough and was difficult to cut and chew. My daughter ordered the avocado toast. You could not cut the toast and biting into it was difficult because of how hard and tough it was. Very dissatisfied with the quality of those items.

First Timer

By Hardrocker8888 |

This was our first time eating here. The place was quite busy but we were quickly seated having a reservation. We were seated upstairs. Service was friendly and helpful. We were not really hungry but we snacked on Bruschetta and Meatballs—-delicious.

Enjoyed Wine Bar George so

By 2hubbies |

Enjoyed Wine Bar George so much that we came twice while at Disney. Our servers were attentive and friendly, the food selection is limited but everything we ate was delicious. The wine options were extensive. Unique atmosphere made the experience even more special!

Wow so many great wines by the glass and ounce.

By rodb987 |

Fantastic service with an unbelievable wine list. Ordered the big board and everything on it was great. There needs to be more wine bars like this in more places. Andrew our waiter was fantastic and helped us get another reservation for tonight even though they were fully booked.

The wine bar is more than a d

By SlyOne |

The wine bar is a great eatery in the middle of terminal C gate area. They serve fresh salads, crab dip, smoked salmon, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, beef tenderloin sandwiches, crab sandwiches, coffee, drinks and infused coffee. A real gem Orlando airport. A must stop for a small plate or a beverage before a flight. The food was fabulously delicious. Incredible gem hidden in an airport. A don't miss spot!!

Disney Springs Wine Bar

By Melissa C |

140+ wines available by the glass. Our server, Allie, was very knowledgeable and able to give recommendations. I was able to sample something new and found a new wine to love based on her recommendation. Great atmosphere too. We sat on the patio and were able to people watch disney springs while enjoying wine and a lovely cheese tray. Highly recommend a visit.

Highlight of a great trip

By askPamandAllan |

Sat upstairs in a corner. Spacious. Rustic feel. Genuinely great server, Jenn. We said we wanted some tapas plates and a glass of white and a glass of red. She listened carefully to our food choices, asked what our preferences in wine are, and then went off to do her magic. We ended up with a different white each, and a different red each (and then a different desert wine each). Food came out typical tapas style, slowly and when it was ready, and Jenn produced the wines accordingly. Really delicious pairings. The food was almost mind-blowing. This was a lovely leisurely experience and we ended with farewell hugs and kisses with Jenn. A great waitress!!!!

Sub standard greeters

By cwa421 |

Visited here twice and both times food, drinks and bar staff were great. The hosts greeting at the door however were unfriendly and unaccomodating - we asked to sit outside - first time we were told no as we didn’t have a booking, however there were plenty of spare seats we could see and the second we were told the area was closed on account of the cold weather, but when we left and looked up there were several people sat out on the balcony!!! Very poor hospitality on the part of door servers who let the whole experience down!

A great restaurant

By Andres70 |

We enjoyed every dish in this place. We started with a large, hearty and tasty cheese and charcuterie board (there were 5, all hungry). In the background, one of the best meats we have ever tasted: grill ribeye. On point and perfectly seasoned. Wide variety of wines and excellent service, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Underwhelmed by Customer Service

By TiffanieW |

We have been wanting to visit this establishment for a while now and finally did today. They weren't super busy, so we asked if we could sit outside. We were told tables were only for people with reservations. After sitting at the bar for a moment, I made a reservation online for an immediately available time. We went downstairs to let them know we had a reservation and the hostess stated (while rolling her eyes at us) that she could see our reservation in the system but would not seat us until we showed her the confirmation on our phone. We did so and she begrudgingly sat us outside on the balcony. After that incident we were able to relax and have a drink The frozen drinks were DELISH and the corkcicle option was a nice touch!!!! All was well until we paid and we're walking out when one person in our group noticed that when they made her drink they never removed the care instruction paper, they just poured the frozen drink on top of it. We ran into a manager as we were walking out and mentioned it to him so they were aware for someone else who orders it and he didn't seem to care much and asked "what do you want me to do?". Due to the attitude, we said nothing so as not to have to deal with anymore of their BS. At almost $200 for 4 drinks (nothing else was ordered) I would expect service to be held to a higher standard.... Again, drinks were delish and ultimately I would go back to get one, but it would be to-go so we don't have to suffer through their lack of customer service.

Surprised at the high reviews

By Hawaii_traveler200 |

Many problems with this visit! Starts with all of crowding around the hostess stand for QR code menu, how about putting it on the tables? Then of course being seated downstairs when we requested upstairs weeks in advance. Bar area is messy and not well kept. Our waiter started off strong then got super snippy as the meal progressed, when he showed up which was rare even though he kept passing our table without looking at us. Food is mostly a B but overpriced for portions even by Disney standards (looking at you, small $26 pork dish). I am not sure they could have served a smaller key lime pie if they tried (diameter of a golf ball?). Didn't even want to check price later, spare myself the aggravation. When you plan your trip for months and want to show your family the best of the area, and it turns out like this, what a disappointment.

Great place for a snack and wine

By travelmom252017 |

Visited on a Tuesday night. Christian was our server and was amazing!! We enjoyed wine and a cocktail with a humus appetizer

Poor to average

By Sue P |

Our server was very pleasant however we weren’t offered clean plates or silverware for our entree and had to ask for it. The person who served our charcuterie board dumped it on the table but then spent a lot of time going through each item with people on another table, he was actually very rude. The person who showed us to our table initially, seemed bored and fed up. This is an expensive restaurant that we were under the impression was going to be a high end experience. This was not the case at all, overpriced and definitely over rated with rude and unfriendly staff. Do not recommend at all!

Fabulous meal, service, and much needed time out :)

By MDsportsfans |

After days of park food and racing around, please take the time to sit and enjoy a great meal at Wine Bar George! We took our 4 children who all enjoyed the charcuterie and kids meals. Our server, Christian, helped us pick a perfect bottle of wine, and we also shared the family style skirt steak platter for dinner. It was excellent. We left full, happy, and most importantly relaxed! We will be back!

Loved this place

By dawgfan35 |

I had never eaten here bit heard great reviews. We were able to get a lunch reservation one day while at Disney Springs and so headed to the restaurant. The place is nice and we were seated with a good window view facing the Boathouse restaurant. We ordered several tapas style dishes (Iberico Pork, chicken skewers, fried mac and cheese, pan seared Romaine salad, meatballs). Everything we tried was EXCELLENT. Service was excellent as well. We will absolutely return as this is one of our new favorite got to go to restaurants.

Excellent food, service, and drinks

By Maria P |

I had heard so many amazing things about WBG and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Mac & Cheese Bites, Meatballs, Saganaki on Fire, and Iberico Pork Pluma, and they were all phenomenal! The 3 cheese polenta that comes with the meatballs was to die for, and the Iberico Pork melted in your mouth! We ordered some drinks and by far my favorite was the frozen Mimosa with Dole Whip. I could've had 1000 of them! Our server was extremely friendly and helpful for it being our first time, and I can't wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend!

Excellent evening

By aragornsmum |

We went to Wine Bar George based on the excellent reviews. It did not disappoint. The service and food were excellent. Our waiter was really cheeky and made the whole evening fun. He also adapted what we ordered to allow for the fact that there were 6 of us. He increased the quantity of each starter because we planned to share them. We had both the staek and the sea bass sharing plates and everything was lovely.

Absolute worst service or I should say no service.

By Gwyn1015 |

My daughter and I went to this restaurant to try out the wine. We sat at the bar, which was not crowded, probably between 5 to 10 people. We sat there for 15 minutes before someone came over and offered water. He said that the bartender would be over shortly. Another 15 minutes went by and still no service. When we tried to signal the bartender, he literally looked through us as if we were invisible. So, we left. Went to the Irish Bar around the corner and got great service.

Simply fantastic. A must do!

By Jeff S |

This was our first visit To wine bar George and it was fantastic. We had the burrata salad and the skirt steak for 4. Simply fantastic. Great ambiance, fantastic food, and wonderful, friendly service. A must do when in Disney springs.

Great Experience

By JSV1122 |

Looking at pictures and comments posted, we wanted to give the place a try for a small plates dinner. We had a great time. We were seated upstairs and had a friendly server. We ordered 4 small plates and the Big Board for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 teen). All the food was great (especially the Saganaki) and we had no room for dessert. We will definitely be going back. Even the paper bags for your masks was a nice touch.

End of an Era

By lwcntryjen1969 |

After many years of going to Disney Springs, this trip to Wine Bar George was the end of an era. It has been a tradition for us for many years to get a nice bottle of wine and "The Big Board." Until this trip, we always got great tips for wine, and very kind servers. We arrived to the MOST unenthusiastic hostess, full of attitude. Despite several seats being available at the downstairs bar, we were "strongly encouraged" to go to the upstairs bar which had one seat. We tried to go back downstairs and were told again "no space" when there were at least 6 "first come first served" seats. My husband walked back upstairs again and the server at that bar pulled a chair over and made space for us begrudgingly. I don't know if we were misjudged for some reason or the staff was having a bad day, but it was likely our last experience. It was really disappointing because Wine Bar George has been our favorite experience for a long time.

Lovely evening

By beachbabyJersey |

Excellent wine list, using the Coravin system allows you the choice of many wines by the glass. I enjoyed a perfectly cold Sauvignon and then a Riesling. Food was very tasty- we shared the steak platter and some smaller dishes- macaroni bites and meatballs, as well as a salad. The restaurant is noisy (we found this to be the case in all Disney restaurants, and of course pricey). Our service was excellent and they were particularly attentive to my sons allergies. Very enjoyable.

Always Good

By Theguys2 |

We have been to Wine Bar George so many times it is hard to count. You can always depend on good service here, a great glass of wine and some good food. We stopped for lunch on Christmas Day. It was a limited menu but not a problem as they had their ever dependable cheese board on the menu. We added a frisee salad that was perfectly dressed, a nice chilled Prosecco and were pleasantly filled. Real nice service too.

Such a let down

By tn5mom |

After watching this on YouTube channel, Tim Tracker we had been looking forward to eating here for months... We called & made reservations for the second day of our vacation for supper at 5:30 (they require a CC hold & if you don’t show up you’re charged $20 per person).. Unfortunately we thought it would be a good idea to arrive 4 hours early on a 96 Degree (over 100 real feel) Day. I normally love Disney Springs but their outside mask policy is RIDICULOUS. We walked around and our party of 7 was miserable, getting sick & over it, so we checked with WBG on getting in early. We were extremely pleased when they worked us in 1 1/2 early. It was a inconvenience right at first downloading the menu right as you walk in the door. One link & several people piled at the door trying to scan it.. We were taking up stairs to a long table in a small room by itself with glass double doors. It was really nice. We did have a nice waiter that brought us all glasses of water with no ice. It was myself, my husband, younger son (15) & youngest daughter (18) on one check & then my oldest daughter, her Husband & my 3 yo grandson on another. The menu is EXTREMELY limited. Extremely small. They really do need more choices. We ordered the “Family” Size Skirt Steak at $72, 1 Iberico Pork Pluma $26, 2 Crispy Mac & Cheese bites $12 each & we drunk the hot water brought to us at first. My daughter got the “Family” Size skirt steak, the grilled Caesar salad $12, 1 Iberico Pork Pluma, 2 Crispy Mac & Cheese bites.. The mac & cheese balls came out first. 4 small balls, they were delicious and hot.. then my daughters salad. Which I tried and loved!! Its one head of romaine, grilled with some cheese crisps, then the EXPENSIVE Pork came out on a big plate and such a tiny tiny portions!! And barely even warm. For $26 i expected WAY more. We were all disappointed in it. Then the expensive skirt steak came with ONLY 16ounces of cold steak, hard asparagus & a few potatoes.. They add 18% gratuity because we had 7 people and that pissed me off cause 2 kids didn’t eat. No refills. Our bill was $160, my daughters around the same!! We all left still hungry because the portions were so small and expensive!! It was the most expensive place we ate in 2 weeks we were there!! The guy made $50 off us bringing us a couple plates.. So disappointed.

Just awful.

By MandyAnn85 |

You ever have an experience so unbelievably bad, that you get mad all over again months later? No? Me neither, until I had the vast misfortune of choosing to have dinner here on our vacation. They forgot my meal. My sister was done with hers before they even bothered checking on us. Once my meal came out, it was cold. I was friendly and polite throughout the ordeal. We were celebrating my sister being cancer free after battling colon cancer. The waiter asked how he could make it right, we asked if we could keep a wine glass. Just my sisters, as a momento of the evening. The waiter said yes. HE. TOLD. US. TO. TAKE. IT. To make up for the lack of service and cold food. When we were leaving, the manager approached us and told us we had stolen merchandise. IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE BAR! When I tried explaining, he accused us of lying. If he had just took the time to check the cameras, he could have seen we were not lying. What started as a lovely night, celebrating something wonderful, ended with my sister in tears and mortified. Don’t go here. EVER. I tried reaching out to the restaurant and owner, we never even got a response back. You can’t treat people like that!

Perfect place to chill and enjoy good wine and food.

By SquashyG |

Visited during the day as our 13 year old daughter was with us. Saying that she was made to feel very welcome. We had a lovely window seat upstairs overlooking Disney Springs. We started with a frozè to cool off. I did the job perfectly. We then ordered a lovely wine and skirt steak sharing plate. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was lovely and relaxing afternoon away from the parks. It was never busy so our daughter felt comfortable throughout our late lunch.

A True Hidden Gem

By William M |

Nestled off one of the many midways through Disney Springs , you’ll find a true hidden gem. A wonderful selection of wines and spirits to fit any preference or budget. George has designed an experience of ambiance, service and tastes to stimulate any palate. A delightful menu, which pairs wonderfully, with an eclectic wine list from regions around the world. If you enjoy trying rare wines with well educated service, look no further. I’ve enjoyed my experience here on many occasions and George is fully vested in his business and accessible to his customers. His passion shines through in his commitment to excellence! Bravo Wine Bar George. Keep up the fantastic work and offerings. Can’t wait to return.

Loved It!

One of the best places to eat at Disney Springs

By Paul |

This was one of our favourite places we dined at whilst on holiday in Florida. When we booked we asked for a table outside on the balcony but as we knew there was limited space on it we did not expect to be lucky, but when we went to the reception desk to check in we were immediately asked if we still wanted to sit on the balcony and as soon as we said yes we were escorted to a fabulous table. Our waiter Christian was excellent, he was polite, efficient and helpful. We were not sure how many small plate dishes to order Christian advised us what to order but said if later we wanted more just ask and he will get it for us. He also helped us with our choice of wine from the excellent wine list. If you like wine and Tapas make sure you go to Wine Bar George

Saved the day with a divine beet salad

By BayInTN |

We initially met friends at Wine Bar George on a Monday night and shared the Skirt Steak and the Santa Carota Short Ribs with the table. Both were very good. A lot of wine and port was appreciated, too. But the real reason I fell in love with Wine Bar George happened two days later. We were in Disney Springs trying to shop, and the place was a mad house. The heat outside was nearly unbearable. (Note to self: Do Not Go To Orlando In September!) We rattled around, trying to find an air conditioned spot to relax and cool off, and fortunately finally stumbled across Wine Bar George. The hostess seated us immediately at a corner table, and our waitress brought us glasses of water while we deliberated over the menu. Then the waitress told us the chef was trying out a new dish, a kind of beet salad - beets roasted and quick-pickled, with a goat cheese mixture, pistachio crumble, pistachio oil, baby basil micro greens, finished with a pistachio oil. OH. MY. WORD. Insanely good! With a glass of the delicious (and divinely cool) Frozcato, this salad was just the most perfect pick-me-up imaginable! The beets are lusciously creamy-crunchy and sweet, yet with the zing of vinegar, along with that zesty goat cheese goo and the cool refresh of basil -- add those sweet, crunchy cookie-like bits and an occasional hit of red pepper flakes -- I just cannot get over how good it was. So good!!! I really hope Wine Bar George adds this salad to the menu. I would make a special trip to Disney Springs just for this dish. Not even kidding. YUM. The whole experience -- the wine slushie, the service, the air conditioning, and finally, that beautiful salad -- really brought my whole day back from the brink. A few hours later, we had dinner at a swanky restaurant in a fancy resort -- I'm still thinking about those delicious beets!

Fun, professional, delicious and high quality meal

By WorldTraveller444444 |

Delighted that there is a great wine bar in Orlando- food, service and the opportunity to create your own wine flights was fantastic. I appreciated that the sommelier on duty came out to tell us about each of the wines we were trying- he knew his stuff and I say that as our group had amongst us a wine hobbyist who also knows his stuff. We would absolutely return - some of the best food on our Orlando trip. Sadly too full for dessert.

Great wine selection, food quality ok but really quite expensive expensive (compared to the Raglan Road pub opposite)?

By AndySpyder |

Great service, friendly staff, we were seated immediately, drinks were great, excellent wine selection, but pricey, food choices adequate but not full service restaurant (more sharing plates), worth a visit but for foodies, go elsewhere!

Empty the wallet, but not fill your Belly

By Jimmy C |

Its one of those.. "I had to try for myself"... but didn't live up. That 81 dollar "skirt steak" plate is overly priced for what you get. Its skirt steak...not RIB EYE! Just 16 oz.. and excessive amount of broccolini and potatoes to make the plate look full. What a Let down. Barely enough for 2 people in regards for the steak. The salad.. another let down.. hardly any dressing and soften croutons not double baked and what? 7 strawberry halves? What?! ($14) The macNcheese ($16) bites are good... but they are quarter size in diameter. Over priced for that size and only 4 per plate. They should use a smaller plate to serve, makes them look even smaller. The flavor for all except the salad was good, not mouth watering when you pay those prices. Specially the "big board" charcuterie plate. 64 bangers?! Nope. A spoon full of Jam? Mustard? honey? seriously? I tried it. Not again. Get ready to empty the wallet. Specially when you add alcoholic drinks. And its LoUD inside and outside. Loud.

A New Favorite

By kendellbrink |

If I could have applied more stars I would! This wine bar is terrific! The wine selection is unexpectedly broad featuring some hard to find boutique wines at very reasonable prices. The opportunity to sample ( 1 ounce, 3 ounces, or 6 ounces) of first growth wines and older vintages is a real treat. The menu is equally interesting with small plates and delicious entrees. Husband had the steak frites -perfectly prepared ( they know how to a steak rare). I enjoyed the hummus -tangy with a little heat. The topper was the Chocolate Experience-a dessert sampling of their house made chocolates paired with three wines. Perfect for sharing. Weather permitting, eat outside on the deck. If you are lucky enough to have Sean as your waiter you are fortunate. He is engaging and quite knowledgeable-very attentive and just a lot of fun to talk with. He made some very good suggestions and samples that enhanced our experience. We even got to meet George who was more than happy to start the heater for us! This was our first visit but won’t be our last-a new favorite!

Amazing Mac and cheese bites

Usually Mac and cheese bites are deep fried blandness. These were amazingly flavorful, packed with zesty cheesiness! The meatballs were forgettable though.

Wonderful experience

We had an amazing experience at George’s. Our waiter was fantastic and on top of everything we needed. The food was great. I recommend the Buratta and the Frisée Salad. The wine was phenomenal too!

We arrived to a very noisy and echoing venue & instantly worried that this was going to be a bit of a fail. Wrong! Served by a really helpful guy and the brinks and food were excellent. A really good night out!

Our first visit

By ScubaCF |

We have been wanting to eat/drink here for a long time. We checked in and they called me when our table was ready. We sat in the downstairs bar area and it was kind of loud. Our waiter was great. We ordered one of their special tastings and the sommelier poured them and talked about them. We ordered a bunch of tapas and the big board for dinner. We can’t wait to come back.

Quiet spot in Disney Springs.

By bwardwell1 |

Nice quiet restaurant with a mellow vibe. Staff was friendly and attentive. The entre menu is somewhat limited but the small plates offer some great options. As the name would suggest, there is quite an extensive wine list. I am not a wine connoisseur, but there is something available in most every price range.

Great place for a spot of lunch!

We were hungry after shopping and a day in the sun and stopping here was the best idea. Excellent food and great service. The most delicious meatballs and polenta and a wonderful selection of cold drinks, perfect on such a warm day!
