Delicious duck I have ever had! The fried rice was cook to perfection. The service was fit for a King....thank you very much. The appetizers I had was BBQ pork ribs which was seasoned properly...not to over bearing yet tasteful. The atmosphere was authentic with music from its cultural. Highly recommended.

Our family of four (2 teens) dined here and all enjoyed it very much, We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was fantastic and my daughter thought the stool provided for our purses was the best thing ever. The restaurant is lovely and upscale. As others have mentioned, there is a dress code which someone phoned to remind us of prior to our dinner. We did see other patrons not following this however - at the table next to us was a lady in a hooded sweatshirt. The food was very good and we all enjoyed our entrees: 3 cup sea bass, jidori chicken, beef filet, & sweet & sour pork. The pork was good but the least favorite of the items. We also shared the bbq pork chow mein which was great! We had no room left to order dessert but the chef sent out a sampling which was perfect for us. Yes, it is expensive but the ambiance, food & service - especially when compared to other places in Vegas - made it easier to accept. We would return in the future.

We had a great dinner here. The service was excellent from start to finish. Food was delicious. We tried the Pan-Seared Pot Stickers, Cantonese Wonton Soup, Mu Shu Pork, General Tao's Chicken, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The Mu Shu Pork was our favorite. The General Tao's Chicken sauce resembled more of a sweet and sour sauce which was unexpected, but good.

My husband and I had gone to Wing Lei 9 years ago and came back this time and it didn't disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The ambiance is stunning and the staff very nice and polite. We went there before a show and the staff made sure we made it out on time. Can't say enough about the food! Sooo good! A must try!

We dine at Wing Lei 1-2 times per year and until now each dinner had been impeccable. When you are spending $200+ a person you expect the food and service to be top notch. In the past this had always been the case with Wing Lei but sadly both food and service seem to be slipping to sub par levels. I still recommend this experience but barely. Wing Lei is on the verge of losing the fan base that have supported it for years. Pros: - Inspired cocktails and selection of wines - Nice selection of entrees including many vegetarian options - Hot & Sour soup among the best in the world Cons: - Service is no longer up to the standards needed for this price point. Too many service issues for our table and the tables around us. The servers spent 50% of their time fixing issues diners were experiencing leaving little time to accommodate guests. - Servers made no attempt to guide us through the menu... as example our server forgot to ask if we wanted white or brown rice with our entrees so the kitchen & servers delivered our entrees with no rice. They should have noticed the error before bringing the food to the table. We had to place a separate order for rice and wait for it to arrive as our food became cold. Another example we overheard the server offering different specials to a table next to us than were offered to our table. - Portions of the proteins were generous but there were very few vegetables included with our entrees and and some instances completely different vegetables than what was listed on the menu. My wife received exactly 1 snow-pea in her dish that was listed on the menu as being a seafood and snow-pea combo. She loves snow-peas and was extremely disappointed. Had she known she may have ordered something else or ordered a side of snow-peas. - Impossible to have the food prepared to authentic levels of spice. I understand most visitors to Las Vegas may not like spicy Asian food but when people request the spice the kitchen should be able to accommodate. The flavors were good and the food was not bland but there was no real spice to speak of. Overall it seems Wing Lei is suffering from numerous problems. Based on the tables around us too many mistakes are being made between the service and the kitchen. Too many dishes being sent back, and too many diners complaining. At this rate Wing lei will either correct the issues or fail. There is too much competition is Vegas for Wing lei to continue on their current path.

Enjoyable experience. Service attentive and food delicious . The Peking duck was beautifully presented and served. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Reservations are a must. Wish we had a table by the windows. The staff was respectfully discreet and did not tolerate any paparazzi entry when the Lakers players showed up for dinner after their game. Will absolutely go back.

We enjoy our dinner at Wing Lei. The food was authentic (we lived in China for several years) and the atmosphere very festive with beautifully decorated dining room. Their Peking Duck is delicious. We dined with our 3 young children and it was definitely kids friendly. We found prices to be quite reasonable for the quality, amount of food and the level of establishment it is. We would certainly return on our next trip.

I came here on Sunday, June 7, 3 days after the official reopening of the Wynn. That said, I allowed for some kinks. When I arrived for my reservation, the host was very kind and gracious, and the inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. That about where my good experience ended. As I was dining solo, I was stuck in the far back corner of the restaurant (which I hate, but have come to expect at the Wynn when dining alone). The food was decent - had the pork belly (five stars) and the fried rice (bland - skip this). The service, aside from the host, was very cold and unwelcoming, which kind of puts a downer on the whole experience. The other tables with more people received excellent service, as they should, but solo diners should get the same service (in my opinion). Glad I went to try it, but skip this one. Much better and friendlier options T the Wynn.

We are at Wing Lei for the first time with a dear friend who is a certified Master Chef. He and we all agreed how fantastic the food was! The service was without comparison and the ambiance added to the deliciousness of the food. You should visit! Very few places have food to meet the prices, Wing Lei is a great place for the price!

I must say I’ve been incredibly lucky in my life to have travelled pretty extensively and to have eaten at some amazing restaurants. Wing Lei just topped my dining experiences to date. It isn’t just amazing and inventive food that merits top marks in my book, it’s the combination of setting, staff, service, ambiance and of course incredible food that elevates a restaurant from good to great and Wing Lei is truly a Great Restaurant. You enter into a Cream, Green and Gold oasis, the staff are attentive and experienced and once seated at your table a staff member presents you with tea whilst another provides a miniature chair to place your purse on. The menu has a wonderful selection of known and new items but even the familiar is elevated at the hands of the Chefs in charge. We opted for the Peking Duck tasting menu and the Wine Pairings. There was nothing to fault and as each course arrived, accompanied by our wine choice, we just continued to exclaim over how wonderful it was. If you plan to indulge in only one fine dining experience when in Vegas, trust me, this is the one to choose, you’ll be talking about it for weeks to come.

In my 49 years of dining in restaurants, Wing Lei is one of the two best when it comes to service. The staff is polite, friendly, and prompt. The appetizers and entrees are well timed. The pot stickers were the most unique in terms of good flavor. The Honey BBQ Spare Ribs. had meat which was perfectly cooked ... literally falling off the bone at contact.

Had to book early during the holidays. The restaurant's decor is pleasant, and the food is delicious. Loved the Cantonese cuisines. About dim sum, personally I would say Wing Lei Macau is somewhat better. Worth one Michelin star.

First Chinese restaurant in North America to have a micheline star, five star award Forbes and an impeccable service, cuisine and decoration. Their Imperial Peckin Duck is just extraordinary, and in every single one of their dishes you could feel an explosion of Cantonese, Shanghai & Szechuan flavors.

Went here for a "big night out" during our Vegas vacation. Great atmosphere and just beautiful inside. Service is stellar (although I didn't get one of those precious "purse chairs" for my purse!) Complimentary appetizer - an amusebouche size - was provided and made of mushrooms. My husband hates, HATES, mushrooms...but gobbled it like it was Halloween candy. Entrees...I got a seafood curry. Totally unexpected flavors, and the seafood was SO FRESH. SO DARN FRESH. Best scallops I've ever had in that dish. Very generous portion, and couldn't finish it. Son got pork belly - another generous serving - and my husband got some very Americanized dish (like General Tso's chicken or something, and that is not the norm in this menu). There is a dessert menu, but they provide some small and DELECTABLE teeny dessert bites, plus a small cake for each person to take home. Service was SPOT ON. I'm already planning on coming back, and I'm going to do a duck dinner. Yes I am.

We were very pleased with the food and service at Wing Lei. The cuisine is definitely authentic Cantonese style and done extremely well.

Neither my wife nor I are big fans of Asian food- with Chinese and Thai amongst least favorite cuisines. But being foodies and one of us a trained chef, we read up in this Michelin-starred restaurant in Las Vegas and being that we were going for a few days, knew we had to try it. We travel nationally and internationally and take reviews very seriously, and have written about quite a few. We were very impressed here. The service was fabulous with a classical French style, but with authentic Chinese attention to detail and ceremony. Between the waitress, hostess, sommelier, and multiple table service personnel that interact with elegance and speed at every turn - this was worth the cost and effort. The Peking duck salad with truffle peanut vinegarette, heirloom tomatoes, endive, mandarin oranges and tiny flower petals was aromatic and unusual...the sliced duck breast was almost silky in texture. There was just enough fat in the edges to bring that smoky flavor out. The wok hand-pulled noodles were extremely delicate and had fine slivers of red peppers and julienned scallions (I think). It was like tasting air. We Iiked how there were 2 sets of chopsticks - one for serving and one for eating... The chefs amuse bouche of tiny spoons of coconut shrimp with cilantro and a quasi-citrus ceviche were delicious. The General Tsao chicken was unlike anything we have seen or tasted - anywhere. The garnish of Bok Chou was shaped like a rose, with a rice noodle cake served with it, was aesthetically simple. The chicken was crispy and thin, and the red sauce not overpowering. The dish didn’t have all that corn starch that so many cheap and greasy representations of this menu staple contain. My soy-marinated Chilean sea bass, on a bed of assorted mushrooms and sautéed asparagus, practically disintegrated in mouth on contact...the texture creamier than any sea bass I remember eating. The presentation and temperature was perfect. Finally, the dessert was quite innovative. The coconut ice cream with layers of shortbread, pineapple and white cake? in a thin chocolate shell reminded us of a kind of deconstructed form of ambrosia. Along with an oolong and amazing aged puh-er tea, this was the best Chinese meal we have ever had. At a level above. Even the plate of assorted candies and cookies with the check were exquisitely done and very flavorful. Add a bottle of reasonable Livio Felluga 2016 PG, the bill of $225 was a steal for quality like this. May (Mai) was our server and was just as elegant as the restaurant and food. We will go back every time we are in Vegas, it was that impressive.

Reputation better than restaurant. Though good and quite pretty. Doesn't compare with Jasmine in Bellagio Hotel. Peking Duck in particular not terrific. Should have been more crisp and skin was fatty. Eh.

Very good service and presentation. The decor is very culturally inspired and elaborate but does not overwhelm. Food was very good. Ladies they are very good about protecting our handbags and the hostesses were sweet.

First, the good: the Food was mostly great. While not the best Peking Duck, I've Had, it was very good, and for two amazing items; try the Potstickers (Appetizer) and the Green Beans (Side). My drink was fantastic - a Lychee cocktail. If this was the end of my review, it would probably be a 4 to a 4.5. Just Lovely. Now for not so good: I was contacted no less than 3 times about the dress code: no open toed shoes and collared shirts or polos for the gentlemen. Two emails and a phone call. When we arrived, one guest was wearing what looked to be a concert tee-shirt, and another guest, a lady, was wearing open toed shoes. Either have a policy or don't. Also, as we were leaving, a table had just been sat with a child definitely under the age of 5, most likely 3- which is also posted as against policy. Lastly, and most concerning, while we were there, a guest at the table across from us, got up and laid down on the floor. His friend attempted to help him, he got back in a chair, and then 30 seconds later was back on the floor. While another guest (at another table) got up to get medical help, the guest on the floor, eventually left the restaurant and I assumed went to his hotel room (with no mask on). My concern is two fold: no one at the restaurant acknowledged what had happened to any of the guests to let us know what was happening - did he have COVID, pass-out drunk, de-hydrated, something else? And two, how was this guest allowed to leave without any medical attention or a trip to the ER to get medically accessed? I would expect more from a restaurant of this caliber and more from the Wynn.

There are many choices in Vegas when it comes to dinner, in fact 2,239 on Open Table. So to be a LOCAL and give a place 5 Bubbles...we are talking Great! Atmosphere - comfortable yet rich. Tip- go at 7:00 and face the shaded window. At sunset, they open the shades. Staff - incredibly accommodating. We received the same attention as a “regulars” table of 8. (Well the Chef never stopped by, but everyone else did). Food - Don’t skimp! We had the Dumpling with the chili sauce OMG, I want a couple of dozen. My wife had the Three Cup Sea Bass, tasty, and lots of it. I had the Fried Shrimp, I never thought fried shrimp w/candied walnuts could be so delicious. Tip - don’t order dessert (Do an extra appetizer or noodles), they bring you little after dinner treats. Prices - I always say, you get what you pay for. Being a CIA graduate, this is one of the best Asian restaurants, i’ve Ever experienced. That being said, the prices are appropriate for the quality of food and service. P.S. I had flowers delivered while at dinner and the hostess handled everything. In fact, placing them on the table without my wife noticing.

We chose Wing Lei for a dinner, in part because we had had great Beijing (Peking) duck in China and wanted to see how the chef here prepared it. We were not disappointed. It arrived a deep golden brown and carved at our table. The skin was fat-free and delightfully crisp. The servers expertly put the fixings in wrappers and in buns. Three of the four of us (one was not a duck fan) loved the flavors and presentation. One of our group had moo shu pork which was also quite good. The last of our foursome had the lemon chicken which, unfortunately, was bland and not very tasty, though it was crisp. We started with hot and sour soup (nicely done with lovely bits of seafood), potstickers, and shrimp toast - very good. We were so full, we could not even think about dessert? But there were candies at the end which were wonderful as was the shrimp amouse bouche that started the meal.

My partner and I make it a tradition when travelling to dine at a Michelin Star restaurant and order the tasting menu with wine pairings. Wing Lei offered a choice of the Signature Autumn Dinner for $US 179 plus $US 99 for pairings per person or the Imperial Duck Tasting menu for $US 130 plus $US 79 for pairings per person. While I wanted the former and my dining companion wanted the latter, the options are for whole table only, so we ordered the Autumn Signature menu for both. The dining room is elegant and the goldware cutlery was stunning. I appreciated that dress code was reinforced by email beforehand and abided by most guests. There were no loud tables or inappropriate behaviour, thankfully. This is not something you can take for granted in Las Vegas, even in the best restaurants. The waitstaff were attentive but not overbearing. Timing was right on point. Every course was served piping hot and the sommelier was proactive with pourings and explanations. The ambiance could have been improved with dimmer lighting as the brightness detracted from any intimacy. Of the 5 courses, the hands-down favourite was the Braised Prime Short-rib with yam puree, shimije mushrooms and 5-spice soy glaze. It was so tender, we ate it with chopsticks. The Poached Maine Lobster with autumn vegetables and the Truffle Soup Dumpling were also delicious. The first course was Alaskan King Crab & Sturgeon Caviar which we found be bland. The cold egg white texture was off-putting, strange and unpalatable. The dessert and hand-made chocolates we were sent home with were absolutely decadent. Overall, this was a special experience but I felt that the tasting menu played it safe. For $700, I expected to try something truly unusual or have at least one dish that exploded with flavour. While there was nothing wrong with it, I feel like it should have been more memorable to be of that value.

NB- this review was from April 2017. I found it in my drafts. We went back again in May 2024 and everything said here still applies. Price has increased but still great value and the Duck tasting menu is now on the website. We had an absolutely superb evening here. From the moment we walked into the warm, light and airy room we were made to feel very much at home. We had gone merely to find out what Michelin started Chinese food was like and my goodness were not disappointed. We were given menus and a welcome cup of tea. Very tasty. To our great surprise the menu included a peking duck tasting menu. There is no indication of this on the website menu or even the menu printed outside the restaurant. We jumped at the chance. It was sublime. 4 different courses of Peking duck. It thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Before we started they actually brought a whole cooked duck to the table and explained that this would be our duck for the evening before preparing what can only be described as the best crispy duck pancakes ever. We never actually saw the duck again but every table got brought a new duck and it was carved at each table as ours had been. We had four courses of the best Peking duck ever followed by a pre dessert and dessert. I did the wine pairing while My wife had a couple of glasses of Sancerre. $98 for the menu and $48 for the wine pairing is great value with coffee and petit fours and a gift box with a cake each to take away, all for under $400. Splendid

ate here with my wife on our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner in a beautiful dining room.the sea bass was the best I've ever eaten and highly recommend it.drinks were great as was the service.a bit pricey as everything is ala carte.

My wife and I both loved our dinner here. We tried dishes that we normally eat and at Wing Lei they were by far the best version of them. We had the House Fried Rice and it was amazing. Not oily like most other places. The Sweet and Sour Crispy Pork was delicious as well. Service was great. We will for sure come back at our next stay in Vegas. They have Fresh cooked whole fish of various species and I wanted to try them but decided against it, for no real reason. I talked to someone who ate next to us and they ate it and said it was truly amazing, so I will try that next time for sure.

This review is for the dim sum brunch Wing Lei offers twice a year - the week between Christmas and NY and for Chinese New Years. We went the Friday after Christmas 2019. We got in line at 9:45 (opens at 10:30 and reservations can only be made for parties of 10 or more). We were fifth in line and around 10:00 many people began getting in line. Periodically starting around 10, the hostesses came out and took names and party sizes. At 10:30, they promptly opened the doors and I think everyone in line made it to a table. The opening rush for the buffet was not easy (people clamoring for the seafood tower) and the space around the buffet is not wide. But once the initial rush of people’s first times through the buffet, it was better. At the seafood tower table there were cut crab legs and claws, shrimp, and lobsters. There was a sushi table with salmon, tuna, cooked shrimp, and a few other options for sushi. There was spicy tuna and California rolls. They had a variety of soups, curry, ginger beef, sausage rice, mashed sweet potatoes, white fish, some vegetables, a few noodles (vermicelli and Thai), and a carving station (I think sirloin). At your table waitstaff stopped by for beverage orders, refills, and carts of dim sum were passed about. There is also an elaborate dessert table with a variety of delicate, decadent desserts. The best item we had (hands down, no competition) is the pineapple BBQ pork bun. It was sweet, biscuity, and delicious. If they sold just these, we’d likely be interested. Overall, at $75.88 a person ($65.88 for children under six), this is a really, really expensive brunch buffet (drinks not included). There is no way we were getting any value from the experience. But we wanted to try it, and try it we did. No need for a repeat visit. For two adults, an iced tea, lemonade, and tip, it was around $210. If you are looking for value and are moderate eaters (we did not want to roll out feeling disgusting), pass on this place. But if you want to try the dim sum brunch experience at a Michelin star restaurant, give it a go!

Yes, the food is excellent and the dining room is gorgeous, but I'm here to tell you about the desserts, beautiful artistic creations that taste even better than they look. The coconut one was delicious but not our favorite. I don't want to oversell--just to give everyone a heads up that you should really go for the dessert.

The typical five-star Wynn experience starts from the moment you walk in the door. The staff greets you warmly and gives you a brief overview of the restaurant. The decor is striking and beautiful, a hallmark of Wynn. Service is very attentive without being obtuse. I ordered the Peking duck, along with the Yang Chow fried rice, which is probably too much food for one person. They were both delicious. They also listen to customer comments because I had gone there in February with a cousin of mine. We had ordered the same, and while the duck was being carved, the rice sat on the bottom of the carving station for several minutes. This time, a dish was covering it to keep it warm. Good to see them paying attention to those little details. Wonderful experience all around and I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I visited Wing Lei in August as part of our holiday to Las Vegas and a belated birthday and anniversary celebration. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and the staff were fantastic. Each course was explained to us, and the flavours and presentation were divine. We were given a “birthday cake” dessert at the end of our meal which was incredible as were the petit fours. My husband declared it was the best meal he has ever eaten, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return!!

Went there with my daughter & her fiancé who just got engaged and they flew in to check out the Wedding venue at Wynn. The food was very good, but the service was exceptional. I can understand it was the first Chinese restaurant in North America to get the Michelin star. That being said, I had expected a little more authentic Chinese but it was more Americanized than I had hoped for. Plus it was noisy and we had a hard time having a conversation (and we were towards the back away from the foot traffic). I do recommend this restaurant for the experience. The bill, including tip, was almost 300 for three of us but given the combination of food and the service, I thought it was worth it. The only negative part was when I talked to the manager when leaving about if they have a voucher for the parking and he said the self-parking was free. Imagine my surprise when I had to pay $25 for the parking.

Great service. Good food. This is Chinese at the high end. Beautifully prepared and served, consistent flavors and artistic creativity. We had a few appetizers and the duck. We passed on the duck flight, good plan. Duck was perfectly cooked and carved tableside (see pics below). It was yummy but far more than 2 could eat. I suggest you do this with 2 couples. Most beautiful dessert that I am not married to was our finish course. This is a cherry filling crust and chocolate stick with vanilla crumble (a needed texture with the cherry) It was amazing. Great service. Super bartender at the bar T entrance. ChAt her up.

This was our special night out dinner while in Vegas for the 3 day weekend (Memorial Day 2019). We enjoyed two appetizers, one main course and one side order of noodles- it was all delicious and fully enjoyed each bite- could have ordered more (another main dish would take it over $300 for the 2 of us) but decided to leave room for desert off property. Glad we went and will go back- would do it all over again except drop the Dim Sum appetizer and get something else to go with the excellent pot stickers.

Absolutely Amazing experience. From the exquisite Decor to the impeccable service you immediately know your in for an experience. Pre dinner cocktails were great. Solid wine selection. Food was what you would expect from them. Recommend the Imperial duck prepared table side for sure.

First off, this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Second, the service is amazing. Those two things themselves are worth coming here. But let's be honest, it's all about the food. Especially when you are paying a hefty sum for a meal. Luckily the food is outstanding here as well. The presentation of each item is spectacular. Everything we ate tasted great. The bring you a small cup of tea to welcome you. We started with an order of pot stickers. We were then brought hot towels to clean up with. I then had the Jidori chicken and my husband ordered the Imperial Peking Duck. The duck was no joke. They carve it at your table and give you multiple preparations of it and it is a TON of meat. For dessert we had the Exotic Mille Feuille and the Morello Cherry Delight. Both desserts were just the right amount of sweet to end the evening. THEN they also have us a cute little tree of tiny, tasty, desserts with our check. The mixed drinks we enjoyed with our meal were good as well. This is a fantastic restaurant to go to for a high end dinner.

This was our first time at the restaurant. We did the 5:30 seating, so when we showed up, the place was pretty much empty. However, within 45 minutes it was totally packed. FOOD This is great Chinese food. Everything tastes fresh and is exploding with flavor. You got your Chinese classics like General Tao, sweet and sour pork, fried rice etc. as well as the more upscale stuff like a whole peking duck that they carve in front of you, wagyu beef, caviar dishes etc. The food won’t disappoint. If you like Chinese food, you won’t go home hungry. RESTAURANT The place looks great. It feels like you’ve been transported to a different environment. It’s very clean and the decor looks authentic, the staff looks very put together, the silverware, chopsticks and plates are all very nice and unique. SERVICE It’s a Michellin star restaurant so the service matches that. You get new plates and silverware with every course, the staff is extremely professional and pleasant. They explain each dish as it’s brought to you and they include a few items that are ‘compliments’ from the kitchen. CONCLUSION It’s a great place to visit whether you live in Vegas or just visiting. The food is great and the service as well. Highly recommend

excellent service and supreme quality must try the awesome geoduck, the wine list is excellent and cheap I recommend pinot noir from the rusian valley

The good news is that the service and decor was excellent. We ordered 5 dishes. The chicken dish was a little too sweet. The fish dish was good but lacked wow. The truffle soup dumpling was a winner but charging $28 for one was a bit much. The chow mein could have been made by a take out place down the street for 4 times less. It is overpriced in my opinion but people there did not seem to mind. The craft cocktails were spot on.

What a pathetic place ... arrived as a family of 4 all excited to celebrate my wife’s birthday and were stopped at the door because our 9 year old son was not wearing long pants !!! He was wearing smart, long Bermuda shorts. They then offered to provide a pair of trousers and we accepted but then told us they had nothing in his size. They then basically told us we had to leave because we didn’t meet their Business Casual code .... the staff was just looking at us unable to articulate exactly what they wanted. All they could say was “we have business casual dress code” ... so after a while we had to basically ask them if they just wanted us to leave and we took their silence as a Yes ... Have visited the best restaurants in the world and never seen this before .. especially from a place that allows men to walk in with polo shirts ... but god forbid ... not a 9 year old in smart shorts

For our last dinner in Vegas, we decided to try Wing Lei. After reading the wonderful reviews and recommendations, the bar was set high. What an unbelievable dining experience it was! From the intimate setting, hands on service, and delicious food, this was one of our top dining experiences ever! And that’s saying a lot. The duck appetizer and sea bass entree were our top recommendations, but everything we had had was top notch. We can’t wait for our next trip to Vegas so we can eat here again!

I’ll start by saying I’m from NY. I know good, I know great and I know mediocre. Wing Lei from the moment you walk in is terrific. The decor, the service, the presentation, and then there’s the food. In a word..great. It’s food done right. Proportioned well, everything on this menu is worth a try. Btw, dress smart. I was impressed that every guest was dressed to be in a Michelin * restaurant. From upscale street smart casual, to dressy, this restaurant deserves respectful dressing. We will be back. Maybe even during this trip!

This was definitely one of the top dining experiences of my life. After having been here once and having not been very impressed, I decided to give this place another try, and I'm so glad I did! My friend and I tried the duck tasting menu, and it was an extravagant feast that had our mouths watering and stomachs nearly bursting. The decor is gorgeous and palatial. The service here was so outstanding; the door greeters, the hostess, the head waiter, the staff that pours your water, or brings your food, etc... Everyone here made my friend and I feel like royalty. The little details really got me; the little lime wedges for our sparkling water, the little chair for my friend's purse, the table-side carving of our duck, the take-away dessert at the end... everything was perfect. Bravo!

The absolute best Asian food! Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The crab & avacado & mango appetizers are outstanding! Everything was presented. Beautiful and tasted fabulous!

The restaurant ambiance is beautiful especially by the window overlooking a courtyard. Our food was exceptional especially the Imperial Peking Duck (carved table side) and the hand pulled noodles. The restaurant staff were very professional and friendly especially Paco and Roy. We weren't hungry for dessert so we didn't order any but the restaurant gave us a few samplings on a tiered tray - also very delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant and will definitely dine there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed Wing Lei. It is a beautiful space. Very light and airy. We were greeted and shown our table right away. Our server May was excedllent from start to finish. We also met Nicholas the somme who picked out a great and reasonably proced couple of bottles to get us throguh the meal and perfectly matched iwth the Chinese fare. I highly recommend Wing Lei. I did feel as though we were guided towards the more “American friendly” options and steered away from potentially more authentic dishes with observations like “It’s the whole fish with head and everything” as though we couldn’t possibly be people that could handle that. Having said that, when I pushed back a bit of the potential skill we might have in this regard was told - it’s a fish with a lot of very small bones. I acquiesed at that point.

Upon entering Wing Lei, one cannot ignore the magnificent decor, wall coverings, and ceiling. The beauty of this restaurant is matched by the 5 star service and gastronomic commitment. The chef sent over an amuse bouche of a bite of melt in your mouth salmon. We started by ordering the sampler appetizer which consisted of a layered king crab salad, spare ribs, and shrimp toast, followed by my magnificent sea bass, and a vegetable medley of flavors that were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered a delicious chicken dish. We completed the meal with a beautiful black tea. This restaurant is not to be missed.

We went last night and it was just exceptional. The food was outstanding and the service was exemplary. Possibly the best Chinese food we've ever had. Highly recommended.

Decor and service: 10/10. On the other hand, the kitchen does not break three legs of a (peking) duck. It's good but super basic. We are very far from a European Michelin star. The sweets served at the end of the meal, on the other hand, are killer.

This is probably the fanciest place I've dined at for someone who doesn't do this much. Service was exceptional with everyone serving being so helpful. Tried the recommended Imperial Peking Duck carved right beside the table and it was delicious. Also tried the sampler which was also delicious. Was treated with several unexpected desserts, all so tasty. It was an excellent experience is Las Vegas and I would gladly go again.

Service was excellent very posh, our table of 9 ordered the duck and other dishes they claim their duck is the best in the city in Vegas I bet to differ it tasted like any other Imperial Peking Duck I've had in a Chinese restaurant and they have 2 Michelin Stars I thought their duck is suppose to be the best? The other dishes were okay the dessert they gave to our table was awesome and the little cake to take back to hotel rooms were good...

this place s just beautiful to see a marvel > the staff at the reception have a set format and they make sure that the place is not over crowded and they try to give the customers a good waiting time if you have no bookings I being alone had to wait for a 30 minutes even though there were some tables empty> the service here is slow so they need this as they are serving everyone freshly prepared dishes so it takes time > now for the food as usual was awesome and i enjoyed it > please book before you eat here

We were looking forward to eating at Wing Lei and were not disappointed. Service was professional and pleasing. We started with wonderful dumplings and both had seabass for entrees. They have two different preparations, one called 3 cup seabass, the other a filet with some vegetables on a plate. The 3 cup preparation is served in a pot with cut up pieces of the fish, also with vegetables. I think mine was the better of the two, but my husband enjoyed his as well. We had ice cream for dessert, they brought a nice plate of complimentary miniatures as well. Drinks were also good. I would recommend Wing Lei. The room was nice, and it wasn't loud. We are going back to Vegas in October and will be dining there again.

The worst Chinese restaurant. Their Beijing duck is a joke. Service disqualify a Michelin star. I’d rather go to Noodle. Don’t waste your money.

We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and I concur with other reviews, beautiful restaurant, lovely food and fantastic service. Portions are a good size, we did not realize this and ordered too much for our main. Desserts were lovely. A candle dessert delivered fir my wife to end a perfect evening. Highly recommended.

Dress code is all over their web site and open table. This is insulting and annoying. Anyone who decides to spend that much money on food knows how to dress. Expensive in the extreme for good but not excellent food. Prix Fix menu is boring and the interesting al la carte options range from $350-$35. Loved the service, they even placed my handbag on its own chair. But seriously, there are better Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas Chinatown for a lot less money. Gorgeous setting. Pretentious in the extreme. Even the simple desert of cherries with marscapone was upscaled to the point of laughter.

My wife and I enjoyed Wing Lei during a short getaway to Las Vegas with the restaurant being our expected highlight. Although very worthy of their earned high-praise and superb food our experience just ended flat. Reservations are a must but easily booked on-line. Tucked away within the Wynn, they have a classically decorated dining room bustling with talented staff. Once awarded a Michelin Star until they stopped reviewing Las Vegas I am confident they would still deserve the high praise as the food quality and preparation were on-point to what we have become to expect from a Michelin recognized spot. Terrific menu and wine list, we enjoyed the Alaskan King Crab Salad, Three Cup Wild Glacier 51 Sea Bass, and Imperial Peking Duck. The Sea Bass and Peking Duck are truly remarkable. The duck is carved and served at the table and memorable although also a significant amount of food. Service was very good with a seemingly shared mindset with a team of folks taking care of your experience. No real connection was made with a specific server which for me is a detriment to the experience but for some maybe appreciated. My wife and I were embarrassed when they refused to allow me to charge my desperately low cell phone (yes that is my fault but plug was next to our table). Although such a “service” would be above and beyond I suppose….Wing Lei did NOT go above and beyond and instead embarrassed me for being so brash as making such a request. Silly reason to tarnish an otherwise memorable experience. But they did that. Value is what one can expect to pay for fine-dining in Las Vegas. So for us, I am very sorry to say Wing Lei was a fail because it is the little things that make the experience. Glad for them we don’t work for Michelin. But again….the food was fabulous so at least that!

Was looking for a great Chinese to celebrate birthday, wing ley definitely delivered on the promise. Classy decor, Good service, but most important great dishes that are served with amazing visual presentation.

The food was really very delicious. We had starters, a shrimp entree, fried rice and the Peking duck. The service was very friendly and prompt. If you’re looking for elevated Chinese food- go here! With that said, if you’re looking for a Michelin star level experience, I think you’ll be disappointed. The service was not at star level. While, beautiful, the atmosphere is also not star level. The price is, however.

Beautifully prepared dishes, fantastic food experience, and really kind, friendly, and accommodating wait staff.

I eat here every visit to Vegas. The food is unparalleled, the wine list extensive (and expensive) and the service friendly and helpful. You can keep the cost down if you do not order the Peking duck but it is so outstanding I encourage you to "not miss it". It would be nice if you could order a half duck since when you are only two people it is a lot of quack quack.

My wife and I had an all-around spectacular experience. The wait staff was friendly and professional, the room stunning, and the food incredible. We had the Duck Tasting, which consisted of a duck cooked for the table, and that duck was used in each dish. I honestly can't pick out a favorite dish from the menu; it was just that good. I was mildly turned off initially from reviews I read, but any bad review has been pushed from my mind. The pictures do not do justice to the room.

The menu is over the top as is the service. Ambience is not as intimate as we would like but for and service will bring you back Try the duck and ask for suggestions as the staff knows the menu better than you do

If you are looking for a restaurant with great food and phenomenal service, look no further. You will not be disappointed here. This is a great place for a special occasion meal or business dinner. They even give ladies special chairs for their purses. They give you a free dessert if you dine on your birthday.

Dinner was exceptional. The food and service were great. Appetizers were good and the menu is diverse enough to please everyone.

Following our friend's impromptu wedding at The Wynn, we were treated to a fabulous wedding supper at Wing Lei. They provided a bespoke "leave it to us" feast which include lobster, beef and chicken dishes, all wonderfully presented and completely delicious. The atmosphere is sophisticated and serene and the staff are helpful and attentive. We will certainly return!

We were staying in the Encore and wanted a nice dinner without having to go far. This was the perfect choice. Great service, food and ambiance. Prices are high but you get what you pay for. Would visit again and this time try the Peking Duck.

This restaurant is excellent, from the decor and comfort, to the food and service. We ordered the chef's signature tasting menu with the wine pairing as we usually do on our first visit to a fine dining restaurant and we were not disappointed. The sommelier took his time to explain each pairing and the reason for the pairing in a friendly manner not like in some restaurants where they seem to look down their noses at guests. The food was divine, King crab and caviar for the first course, an absolutely stunning pork and truffle soup dumpling second, followed by a perfectly cooked, flavorful lobster were to die for (except for my one complaint of this entire experience, a tiny bit of shell in the lobster broth). The meat course was a soft, succulent braised short rib atop a sweet potato puree and the best rice I have ever eaten, which was delicious but very filling. Dessert was a chocolate shell made to look just like a coconut which was filled with coconut ice cream, bananas and banana cake and a passion fruit puree. It was delicious but far too large to finish. A tray of small pastries was also present to finish the meal followed by a small cake in a box to take away. We will not miss Win Lei on any of our future visits. I'm excited to try the Peking Duck menu, the smell every time they brought one out to the dining room was incredible.

During our stay in Las Vegas, Wing Lei was one of many upscale restaurants that we visited for dinner. This restaurant had pleasantly bright and warm atmosphere. Upon entering we were greeted by a courteous hostess, and led to our window side table. The garden outside the windows looked beautiful. Soon, a server placed a tiny baby chair next to our table. The baby chair turned out to be a chair on which my wife’s handbag could be placed. We ordered “Alaskan King Crab Salad”, “Seafood Hot and Sour Soup”, “General Tao’s Chicken”, and “Mu Shu Pork”. All the foods looked like beautiful art works, and they tasted very delicious. Above all, “Mu Shu Pork” was the best Mus Shu Pork we had ever had. Later, our server brought us a beautiful dessert as the restaurant’s complimentary dessert for my wife’s birthday. The servers were very courteous. The manager and the assistant manager were extremely attentive and courteous as well. When we looked around to find our server for an extra plate, the manager quickly came to us to find out what we needed. Then, he quickly brought a plate to our table by himself. Another time, we accidentally dropped our fork. Before we stooped down to pick it up, an assistant manager quickly brought us a new fork. We highly recommend Wing Lei Restaurant.

We have been going to LV for years and somehow missed this gem. We have read glowing reviews and decided to chance it. We were not disappointed. The dining area is bright and beautiful. And the atmosphere is “anti-Vegas”; fine, quiet and elegant. We were only a party of 2 and wanted to try a variety of dishes. We opted for Chef Yu’s signature dinner menu. The signature menu was VERY pricey, but this meal was on par with any Michelin rated restaurant that I’ve been. The first course was Alaskan king crab with caviar. The presentation and complimentary flavors were just perfect. Next up was truffle dumpling soup. The dumpling was filled with minced pork and the complementary broth was tasty. Once again...elegant and delicious. We added the Peking duck field green salad to our tasting-menu as we had skipped lunch and we are duck fans. This was prepared with almond slivers, mandarin oranges and peanut truffle vinaigrette. The duck was cooked to perfection. And the dish was just outstanding with flavors galore. Next up was the poached lobster. This was prepared with ginger, Fuji apple and micro peas. Yum! The next dish was braised prime short ribs (off the bone)... this was a generous serving with tender and tasty meat, prepared with yam purée, cauliflower, mushrooms and a five spice soy sauce glaze. For the sweet tooth, the grand finale was a huge serving of what I will call, death by chocolate. Featuring chocolate mousse in a thin, 3” diameter x 8” dark chocolate pipe over a thin layer of cake, over a thin cookie/crust. Wow! The service was outstanding. Wing Lei is a real treat. We will be back. Beware, this is Vegas fine dining. They have a stricter dress code policy than most Vegas restaurants. This is noted on the website, the confirmation email and the confirmation phone call.

The restaurant is pretty and the service is friendly and efficient. They try to maintain a dress code, but this is Vegas so you’re gonna see T-shirts and even shorts whether you like it or not. Overall the food is quite delicious. The jellyfish was unexpectedly crunchy but I liked it. The soy sea bass was excellent - fresh and skillfully prepared. The petite fours which are complimentary were very very delicious. I think it’s a fine restaurant. There are many good Chinese options in Vegas and this is certainly a worthy place for a meal. I’m not sure the place lives up to the hype or prices but a very good meal is most surely guaranteed.

This is a followup to my 2015 review. We have returned several time since 2015 and our last was a few days ago. Still Perfect and Wonderful. The staff continues to be helpful and caring. Wonderful evening - we continue to recommend Wing Lei.

We ate at Wing Lei on my last trip to Vegas. This is probably my 4th or 5th time. You have to book a reservation weeks in advance to get a reservation between 6 and 7:30. I love eating there because: 1. Really good chinese food 2. Very classy, first class, high end atmosphere, presentation and service and 3. My meal is always comped. 1.We (three of us) had the Imperial Peking Duck (w steamed buns), Garlic Beef Tenderloin, Prawns with Candied Walnuts, Yang Chow Fried Rice. All of it was excellent. The Duck is carved tableside and prepared into the buns for you with the plum sauce, scalions, etc. They simply serve it to you for immediate consumption. One thing I questioned was that I thought they would bring out the rest of the duck meat for us to eat later, but that never happened. The prawns with walnuts is a fairly typical dish found in lots of chinese restaurants. But here they use extra large prawns and they were lighter, more freshly prepared. Excellent. The beef was super tender and delicious. All of these dishes one can find in any authentic (or even not authentic) chinese restaurant along Spring Mt Road. But at Wing Lei everything is prepared in premium fashion and tastes better. 2. The atmosphere at Wing Lei is very high classed and the service impeccable. One doesn’t think of using “chinese food” and “fine dining” in the same sentence. But at WL it is appropriate. The pre-meal small “chef’s “ dumpling they bring you, the after dinner sweet mini pastries, all of it adds up to a great experience. 3. I am chinese so I am super aware that the food here is tremendously over-priced. Our meal of $300+ probably would’ve cost less than $100 off strip at any of the chinese restaurants along Spring Mt Road. But this is to be expected in Vegas and particularly at the Wynn LV. Red 8 and Wazuzu are similar. So I would never pay these prices myself. Still having said all that, I would still highly recommend Wing Lei. It is excellent and terrific eating experience in keeping with the whole Wynn Las Vegas vibe.

Super place, amazing food in a perfect location. Service was impeccable as was food all in all it was a fabulous meal very well presented. Lots of choice, starters were that good we had them twice ! again, excellent meal in elegant surroundings with superb service.

We had an amazing experience at Wing Lei. Our server Herman and his assistants are so pleasant and professional. We celebrated our 20th anniversary. Herman made excellent recommendations, and encouraged us to try a variety of items instead of the tasting menu which we were considering. This less expensive option allowed us to try a variety of appetizers and entrées, all of which were very different! Our meal started with a complementary chrysanthemum tea, followed by a pomegranate jelly amouse bouche. We enjoyed the seasonal cocktails. The quality of our meal was like nothing else we’ve ever experienced and the timing of courses was impeccable. Herman surprised us with several complimentary desserts to celebrate our special day. It was a great experience!

What else more can be said that hasn't already been said. The ambiance was beautiful, the staff was overly obsequious, and the food was divine. Had the garlic shrimp spring rolls and the black truffle scallops. They brought the most yummy petite fours for dessert, too. Everything was perfect.

Stunning, delicious and delectable! The Alaskan crab salad was super fresh and zingy, prawn toast literally the best we’ve ever eaten and the ribs meaty and tender. The sea moss and oysters were different. Not to my tast but my husband loved them. Definitely would recommend. The service and wine choice by the sommelier, Californian Pinot noir just inspired.

Service was great and we were well taken care of. Food fell way short of an award winning restaurant. Not refined and presentation average of a local Chinese restaurant. The Mango Avocado Crab Salad had a whole slice of mango and hole slice avocado underneath the crab meat. It was more of a "fruit platter" than a salad. The wok fried assorted Mushroom; sliced up in cubes, quickly fried in the wok, placed in a bowl, then pressed a little together and then turned around and put on a plate like a cup of rice ...? Taste was ordinary, no finesse no special touch no imagination no creativity no presentation ....basic. Garlic Beef tenderloin ...same thing. very basic. All the food looked like you serve it at home family style sharing....the taste, yes ok asian flavours but basic so for me far off a Michelin rated restaurant. The only good outstanding dish was the Sea Bass. We are from Asia so we expected a higher cuisine in taste as you have superior products available, more refined, a bit creative and top on presentation. For us is was more like an ordinary Asian Family Restaurant.

I dined at this place few years ago and I ordered the whole duck and another duck dish, which at that time I was not impressed with ant of the dishes. This time I asked for recommendations from my faithful waiter "Herman", and here what we tried: Garden Dim Sum: An edible Art Sichuan Beef Short Rib: No One on Earth can top this dish, a meat that melts in your mouth and does not need any chewing, Prepared with PERFECTION. A must try... honesty My second favorite dish is the "Braised Seafood Curry Rice"; really the best I ever tried, and I tried plenty. My favorite Sake is "Soto Junmai Daiginjo". Served chilled. Very smooth and not dry nor sweet. Service is top notch. Ambience is great. Price matches the perfected dishes.

From the first moment we approached the front door, the service exceeded expectations. The hostess saw us approaching and exited to hold the door and welcome us. Everything about this restaurant is stunning to look at. The service is attentive but not overly so. They even provide a small chair for ladies purses. On this visit we ordered the Autumn tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was delicious and plated beautifully and the sommelier described each wine and why it was paired with the dish. Even after the meal the service is amazing, they sent small cakes home with each guest. Every time we dine here, I start looking forward to our next visit almost as soon as we leave.

Whilst the service is good, the food is really ordinary and the restaurant is over lit and cheesy. We had 2 starters. An Alaskan crab salad which was pretty good and “pot stickers” which was four mediocre fried dumplings. The dumplings had a bland filling and were pretty much what you would get for 1/4 of the price at your local chinese. The mains were spicy prawns and a chicken and peanut dish. Both were underflavoured and uninspiring. The fried rice was $29 for some white rice with a prawn or two. Again, the same thing you’d get at your local Chinese restaurant. The service was attentive but weird. As soon as one of us had nearly finished a dish the plates were whisked away and the other person was left effectively eating on their own. Never seen that in a restaurant before. All in all this is yet another Emperor’s New Clothes experience in Las Vegas. Just go to the mid level places where you can get decent food at semi reasonable prices.

We have ordered the famous dish the imperial duck. They have us only skin and went away. When we asked where was the rest they started to give a strange explanation how it worked in their restaurant. After 10 minutes and after my request that I do not eat the skin they brought us the rest of the cold duck with a lot of bones which was not possible to eat. The most terrible experience in Las Vegas.

The style of Wing Lei is just adorable. You can't help but love the color way and the style. The food is just wonderfully executed Chinese classics (well, some familiar Chinese classics, anyway). The sea bass, fried rice, shrimp rolls, and mu-shu pork really just beautifully executed. So so tasty. I don't even really love sea bass per se but the way it was prepared was just delicious. Great tea service at the end. Worth it. I think among fine dining options, this was pretty reasonable.

Really Nice room and very attentive service. Food falls a little short of other Michelin Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Vancouver,

The decor, the attentive service, high quality accouterments, the relaxing vibe, are all very much appreciated, but the food is above all, simply superb! The whole experience is top notch and if you try it, you'll love it.

We eat here every time we are in Vegas. The best Asian cuisine in the US. Elegant atmosphere from entering through dinner. Service is impeccable and the food is amazing. Great selection of items across all Asian regions. We enjoyed the Peking duck and wagyu. Get the chocolate cherry for dessert. Solid wine and sake selection also.

Five stars for the food which is the best Chinese in Vegas - Service which was unfriendly- surly but generally efficient is why I knocked off a star

If you’re at Wynn you’ve chosen the best hotel/casino to stay at in Vegas , if you’re dining out Wing Lei is the best restaurant to dine at bar none. Service impeccable, food delicious, ambiance first class. Food is at Michelin standards but not Michelin snobbery. Very relaxing throughly enjoyable evening.

We came into Vegas during a somewhat slow time and I was surprised at how easy it was to get a reservation at a Michelin one star restaurant. We made the reservation for 5:30 as we (as well as others) had tickets to the 7PM Le Rene within Wynn. Some of us arrived a little earlier to see if we could be seated earlier, but not even the bar was open until 5:30 and the very young/green hostess asked us to wait on 3-4 chairs like we were waiting for Chinese take-outs. When it was finally time to be seated we were led to the back corner until we requested a table (of many empty ones) by the window. The wait staff was very pleasant, but the bartender forgot to make one of our drinks. The food was overall good, but I had a hard time seeing how the cuisine distinguished itself from a good stand-alone Chinese restaurant in cities with larger Chinatowns. Overall while the service and the food were above average, we will likely check out more inventive restaurants in the future.

THIS is fine dining, make no mistake. I made our reservation for 5:30 (earliest possible) because we were going to the 7:00 show and realized we might be short on time to make the show so inquired the moment we stepped in if (out of courtesy to the establishment) we could eat at the bar since we we might be short on time. This they do not allow and assured us we could be seated and make the show. It turns out we had ample time to enjoy our dinner and make the show. It was an absolutely beautiful dining experience from the food to the service to the ambiance. It is not inexpensive but to have that level experience and the convenience of being steps from the show was worth it. Everything we had was outstanding and the service is top shelf. The finish to the meal was an elegant surprise (see photo). I would definitely suggest dining here at least once and judge for yourself.

We were looking for a new Asian restaurant in Las Vegas, and Wing Lei ticked all the boxes, food service ambiance.

The all meal was incredibly good. All the courses were tasty and light. The decor is one of the nicest I have ever seen, elegant and luxurious. The service was unbelievable, attentive but not annoying. Lots of space between tables. We will certainly be back.

Very authentic Cantonese food in an elegant and sophisticated style. Impeccable and truly friendly service. Great pick for romantic dates too.

Both the food and service were outstanding. We started with spring rolls then shared the garlic prawns and beef tenderloin. So much flavor! The waitstaff brought us a complimentary dessert that was not on the menu. It was unbelievably delicious; creamy citrus and absolutely gorgeous! Kudos and thank you to the chef and staff!

What an incredible meal! We starter with pot stickers and spring rolls. Incredible sauces! Then excellent won ton soup. The sea bass and General’s special chicken. Their special fried rice rounded it out. We are stuffed. Wonderful glass of French Chardonnay completed a super dinner. Service was over the top. Wife got a special chair for her purse!

We have been to Wing Lei three time within the last year and have recommended it to friends as well. This visit was a letdown. We were celebrating a special occasion which they acknowledged as well as staying at the Wynn. They seated us at a cramped table next to a large ground of noisy, loud women at a big round table. They were only part of the group. The men were at another table next to theirs and the constant coming over, loud talking was awful! This seems to be a middle eastern or European way of dining. We saw it in Dubrovnik with the men at one table and the women at another, large groups as well as here, 16 or more between the two tables. They have a private room, that is where this many people should be or off to the side. NOT in the center of the room. The restaurant was very busy and our server was less than attentive. We shared an appetizer and both had the 3 cup seabass. It was not nearly as good as the two other times I had it. Sauce was pretty non-existent which really makes the dish. They did give us a little complimentary dessert, very nicely made and we shared ice cream. We will be in Las Vegas again in a couple of months. I will not go out of my way, we are not staying at the Wynn, to dine at Wing Lei.

I am so glad I ate here. 6 of us dined ourselves into a fabulous stupor. We had about 8 dished that we shared between the 6 of us. The restaurant is glorious and beautiful . The service exemplary and the food . OMG the Food . It is to die for. I will absolutely be returning!!!!!

This is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant for demanding clients. The place is very nice quiet and spacious. We highly recommend it. However there is one item that you need to know. The bartender does not know how to do a classic dry martini. When we ask him he says he never use vermouth. He just give you a chill gin in a glass.

Service was superb, food was faultless. Disappointed that the 'dress code' was only applied to some of the guests, it seems others can wear what ever they wish.

Beautiful, ornate dining room worthy of celebrating that special occasion. Highlights: crab starter was dynamite, delicious signature cocktails & excellent service. This is not your greasy, MSG take out we are all used to. It's light and flavorful truly letting the quality ingredients shine. Tons and tons of vegetarian options. Portions are very generous and I recommend sharing a variety of dishes. I would pass on the fried rice as ours was bland and the desserts look great but taste meh. It is impossible to leave here still hungry. Definitely worth a try especially if you want to impress. Pro tip: get dropped off at Wynn tower suites/south entrance so you don't have to walk the equivalent of 2 football fields to get there lol.

I celebrated my wife birthday in this restaurant after eating at another Asian restaurant to see that meet my expectation. First the Peking duck is great. The staff cut the duck for you and prepared the plate in front of you. Drinks are good. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Must dress to visit is that classy.

Early bird seating thanks to my Host Samol otherwise not possible to get a table. Seated straight away and offered an extensive menu that was difficult for me to absorb as I’m not familiar with this type of cuisine . Never the less ordered Crab salad for my starter plus Seafood Curry with rice for main and recommended Cantonese Chow main to accompany main. Crab salad was very tasty and for the main the Seafood Curry with rice was on the large size with rice on the bottom of dish covered with curry , good idea as the rice absorbed all the juices . However it was way too much and i ended up leaving three quarters . It didn’t help that the Chow Main was also a large portion that was also hardly touched. Food was very tasty but for the first timer it would have been helpful if server could have suggested I was ordering too much instead she came over to ask if I’d like to order dessert despite my hardly touched mains . Server offered to box it and I would have gladly accepted but as a tourist at Wynn we don’t have access to microwave or kitchen. It was sad to see good food wasted. I declined desert and asked for the check , when it arrived it came with complementary desert :) and complementary more desert nicely boxed to take home as gift which was appreciated . I would gladly return

I tend to find that restaurants in Wynn/Encore are overrated and not special. However, our first time dining at Wing Lei was an exception. The service we had was spectacular. We had many people working together with us, we had good recommendations, and we were treated very well. Also, the food was very good. Finally, the atmosphere (we were seated near a window, which might have helped as it looked over a nice garden) was nice. This is now our favorite Chinese restaurant in Vegas. I am goad we found this place.

Elegant restaurant service absolutely delicious food. Agree with an earlier contribution that they don’t need to go on about dress code. There are plenty of other more casual places to eat. High class service and really enjoyable evening. Booking essential.

My wife and I had an amazing experience last night here. It exceeded our expectations from previous reviews. The service was outstanding at all times. You must have Wing Lei sampler. We also had the fried shrimp and spicy scallops, both are outstanding. Large portions and very well done. I must do if you’re in Vegas.

Excellent service. Attentive. Thoughtful. Understanding. First and foremost the garlic green beans: outstanding. My next favorite dish was the king crab salad. With avocado, mango, and yuzu sauce. Fresh and sweet and a delight in the mouth. There's no way to do justice to the details that were clearly consisted in these dishes. And the warm lighting prevented the best photos. Don't underestimate the soups. Beautifully subtle and flavorful dumpling soup impressed the matriarch. Rich, complex hot and sour soup punctuated with all the trimmings was the yang to the dumpling soup's yin. Garlic Tenderloin. Very soft beef, oh so easy to enjoy. Spareribs. Dim sum with flavored skins: the striking ruby color was beets. Peking Duck. Presented and sliced by the table, served warm in wraps with slivers of green onions and fresh cucumber. Crispy skins, tender flesh. Sea Bass with lotus -- steamed and not fishy: soft, dense, and delicious. Mapo Tofu -- firm enough to hold shape soft enough to melt in your mouth: they just did right by this comfort food. Table settings were elegant and understated and set the right mood for this special occasion dinner. Oh, and the desserts. Simply perfection. Our server was the best. Included a photo of him. Yes. The 2015 Margaux was all that.

My husband and I visited for our Anniversary trip. I’m not big into Chinese food, but I really enjoyed this restaurant. My husband saw the interior while we were walking through the hotel, and he was so impressed he wanted to dine there. The service was impeccable and friendly, and not the least bit pretentious. We had a Peking duck salad, Pan Seared Pot Stickers, Garlic Beef Tenderloin, and Almond Cookie Ice Cream. The steak was delicious and my husband thinks possibly the most tender we’ve ever had. You could cut it with a fork. The ice cream is one of the BEST I’ve ever had, UH MAZING. Next time we’ll definitely do the Peking Duck, it’s very popular. If you like Chinese food, this is a must! If you’re meh about Chinese food, this may change your mind!

The food is great but there are signs of complacency. My most recent visit included no offer of specials, no rice provided (or mentioned), and noticing that portion sizes are rather uneven. Any noted shortcoming is quickly met with polite and immediate response. Don't get me wrong. The duck, the beef tenderloin, the marinated jellyfish, and the hot & sour soup are among the best I have ever tasted in the US. The prices demand excellence as $27 for string beans is a bit steep. Services is not bad; the execution has just become uneven. I am not expecting to take leftovers back to a hotel room - I just expect enough to legitimately share among a party of three when more than one entree each are ordered. But I still think about the flavors for days and use it as a reference point for others. Just not sure I am going back every visit for what it costs. Give me wife's purse a chair of its own but give me a more reason to sit in my seat more often! :-)

Outstanding service - ok food - painful prices. Was craving Chinese and willing to pay for the best - the food was decent but not life changing -. Cantonese chow main 6/10 Beef rib 8.5/10 Hot and sour soup 7.5 /10 Sweet and sour pork 8/10 Comp desserts — priceless !!

This was a first for me. Ususally when I want chinese food I order take out. Well, this is definitely not take out. It is a very upscale fine dining experience. Here's what they got right. The decor, elegant and tasteful. The waitstaff, knowledgable and attentive. The atmosphere mature and the music was low so no shouting to be heard like most restaurants. One special touch I'll mention is they offer a very small upholstered chair for your purse to rest on. I loved that! The food is creative and delicious. I had the lamb chops and whatever they were marinated in is the reason I will go back. My only issue had nothing to do with them. But we could not find the restaurant, and the staff at the Wynn were useless.

We have eaten at many Michelin restaurants but very excited to try our first Asian cuisine one. It did not disappoint. Simple dishes elevated and some very complex flavors and pairings. All cooked to perfection, but without being overpowering as some restaurants with Asian spices. The atmosphere with the gardens just outside were a very relaxing view. The staff was amazingly attentive but not obtrusive. We enjoyed the whole evening immensely.

One the the top 5 meals and dinner experiences I've ever had in my life. We split peking duck salad and pot stickers- both delicious. Had the sweet and sour pork- it cut like butter- just a terrfic dish. My wife had fish entree and it was one of her favorite entrees ever. It was our anniversary and they brought compimentary dessert and then finished with a dessert assortment tray and pineapple cake to go- all on the house. We each had a glass of wine and were out of there in under $200. Worth every penny. Service wise- it was a bit uncoordinated. It was clear they were short staff and not enough main servers in the room. Our host did her best but it was hard for her to keep up. It must be a problem in Vegas overall because we had the same experience and many high end restuarants all week. Overall, highly recommend.

You would think a Michelin star guarantees a great experience. So did I when I picked this restaurant to celebrate a special evening with my wife. We got off to a bad start..... the hostess was rude. She wouldn't give us a table by the window, but our very next party of two were given the exact same table when they refused to take their original table and made the exact same request. We were quite upset with this for starters. My wife is a vegetarian and I made sure to let them know that when I made the reservation. She picked from the very limited choices available on the menu, but the dish was undercooked. Then she was offered a replacement but even the second dish was so so. She returned from the dinner hungry. Overall a bad evening for us. Very disappointed, not going back here!

Had a delightful birthday celebration at Wing Lei, located in Wynn Las Vegas. They are a Michelin star and Forbes Five-Star restaurant. The décor is exquisite with elegantly set tables right down to each place setting having a special double chop stick rest. On the rest is one black set of chop sticks for eating, and one white/ivory set for serving/helping oneself. Service was impeccable- very attentive without hovering. We decided to try their Imperial Peking Duck, and specifically their Imperial Peking Duck Tasting dinner. They begin by bringing a whole perfectly cooked duck tableside and carving the first course of Peking Duck meat and crisp skin, Mandarin Crepes with cucumber, scallions, and hoisin sauce. They artfully assemble the crepes for you. Since you are expected to eat these with your fingers, they also provide a warm damp cloth rolled up on a separate plate. The duck was succulent and so tasty. The next course in this all-duck tasting was a very creative Peking Duck Salad which included Peking Duck Rolls, Mesclun Greens, Baby Pomegranate seeds, Peanuts in Truffle Vinaigrette dressing. A delicious combination. This was followed by Duck Shu Mai which included water chestnuts, black Truffles and carrot puree. These were good, but not our favorite. Next we enjoyed Duck with braised eggplant. Of course, the duck was perfect and eggplant excellent. The next course was Duck Fried Rice which was served with a Free Range Egg on top of the rice, and Sugar Peas, Yam pieces along with scallions. This was delicious but we were getting full by this point and took most of it home to continue to enjoy later. For dessert we were served what looks like a golf ball sized cherry replete with a hard red chocolate shell, over a custard which surrounded small tart cherries in the center. The stem was hard sugar. As if that wasn’t enough, we were also serve little dessert selections on a tree like arrangement and given a small clear box containing a citrus based sponge cake. The Peking Duck matched the finest we were served when in Hong Kong. Kudos to the chef and all of the outstanding staff that made this a most memorable meal.

A beautiful setting at the Wynn. Very good service as well. The reason to go is for the imperial duck, which is beautiful and well prepared. The lemon chicken however was not good, which was very disappointing for a supposed Michelin restaurant and the remaining dishes were good. Overall, the duck was terrific, but I don’t know that I can specifically recommend this choice.

I was psyched for this late dinner . The only reservations we could get during a 10 day stint at the Wynn was 9pm . We skipped apps and went for three family style entrees. I should have gotten the Peking duck. We had the garlic steak which was excellent but two others I don’t even remember what they were . 5 star ? Hmm. In any case the place is elegant and easy on the eyes with its yellow decor and windows . I’ll get the duck next time

this place is exquisite. The details from the dishes to the service to the unique food choices make it really a special experience. I started with the dumplings and the Wagyu beef appetizers, which were both delicious. I also had the peppercorn shrimp which was extremely spicy so be warned. Next time I want to try the duck that smelled so amazing at the table next to me. I also had the earthly branch cocktail ? Which was delicious. The cherry dessert was very good as well.

Great ambiance, food and service! Terry, one of the waiters was really friendly and provided great service!! Will be back!

Fantastic food - best Chinese in town - but at these prices you expect better more attentive service - service indifferent at best

High Priced Food that has no indication of being Chinese except via the presentation. The Food has no taste, plain, which is what is expected by it being Cantonese Food.

Ok, we're pretty much engaged in Chinese in SF, but we're in LV again for an occasion and decided to give Wing Lei a chance knowing it would be pricey . . . Worth the price, well almost. But worth it as in LV, while there are more choices than you can count grains of rice, we opted in. Shrimp spring rolls with an oddity of creme fresh with a hint of mustard and a spicy berry dip. This followed by prawns and walnuts, one of the faves, but done to outdo even Yank Sing, chased by probably the best lamb chops since sheep were good for consumption rather than for wool or secret dating. Indeed. Order tea. Ask for the red. Needs to be requested.

We returned again this year and really enjoyed the Dim Sum buffet. Beautiful restaurant with superb food. Rack of Lamb, sushi, oysters, Dim Sum and Chinese dishes layered with intricate flavors. Will be back!

Eh, we were not overly impressed. We can for a date night and the crab starter was delicious but the Peking duck was kinda lackluster. And it is very expensive. A few hours later I was left with a tummy ache too. We prefer the duck at Hakkasan.

We were excited to go back to this place and we reserved well in advance a quiet table for a romantic dinner. We got a table close to the kitchen and the service table with a lot of action and noises !! Unfriendly service, very formal and taking time. The Alaskan king crab salad was a joke, we could not define whether it was a dessert or a starter, as my field green with orange. We didn't really enjoyed the braised duck breast and the marinated sea bass. My cheese cake was excellent, this "saved" the evening. So very disappointing for people who eat in chinese restaurants worldwide 2 to 3 times a week as we love this type of cooking. In addition, this is very expensive. We do not really care about prices but we expect good return. So we will not come back. Our opinion only, of course.

This place is very classy, beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious. It's all family style, so it's fun to order different things and try them all. General Tso chicken is AWESOME. Also loved the noodles and green beans. Service was impressive, and they even brought a little chair for my purse. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back.

Being a foodie I have a passion and appreciation for food presentation and the the flavor balance and temperature of quality food. Wing Lei hands down has the best Chinese food and maybe top 10 restaurant I have tried in my life. . We ordered a lot of dishes and every single one was flawless. Even as simple as egg rolls and pot stickers were crispy lightly oiled and perfect. We had 12 dishes in total and every bite I took with the chopsticks it played a beautiful symphony to my taste buds. Pure perfection. The ambience was amazing as well. And the experience overall was good but not great. Service was lacking. Even though we had a reservation we waited 25 minutes to be seated and Deni’s took a while and it seems like the waiters were not as attentive as expected I gave the restaurant 5 stars because the food makes up for the mediocre service. I have been to 28 Michelin star restaurants ranging from one star to three stars and even though I am aware that Michelin guide focus is food and service is not required to be perfect. They all have been top notch with service. This could have a fluke and that why I know I will be back again as I believe this is a restaurant that is very worthy of multiple trips.

This was my first dinner in a Michelin Star establishment. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was quiet and serene. There is no attention to detail left out, they even have miniature chairs for the lady's purse. This is fine dining at ts best.

Wonderful dining experience. The service , food and atmosphere were awesome! We had a delicious dinner served family style. Great restaurant and certainly deserves its awards! Thank you for a wonderful night!

Wow, I try not to be overly generous with a 5 star review, but this place deserves it. Everything was perfect from the friendly, attentive and well trained staff to the decor to the amazing food. It is hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had and is truly an gourmet experience. It took me so long to decide on what to order because everything on the menu looked really good. I ordered the "Field Greens with Peeking Duck" salad, really as just a way to sample the duck. The duck was outstanding, but that overall salad, OMG, was very, very good. Also incredible was the "Seafood Hot & Sour Soup" and the "Soy Marinated Sea Bass". I ate every bite. Special thanks to my servers and the hostess, all of whom were great. I can not wait to dine here again.

We've traveled the world extensively and tried peking duck in many cities. Outside of Beijing and a few other cities we've visited in China, the Wing Lei is hands down the best.

4 of us went for dinner here. Early December 2020 you need s as reservation. The food and the service were excellent. We ordered several dishes an everyone’s food was just perfect. We split a dessert which was wonderful. Cocktails were great and a big wine list. The place is beautifully decorated. Wear your mask to go in but o car you sit down you can take it off. 1st class food.

As soon as you enter Wing Lei, you feel like you have entered a special place. The dining room is so unique and welcoming. The staff seat you at a table with a view of a garden with pomegranate trees that are originally from Asia. The menu is unique and offers so many great options that it's difficult to choose just a few. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional. We loved it.

Two couples for dinner. We started with the appetizer sampler and the peking salad, and proceeded with the scallops, prawns, 3-cup sea bass and the green beans. The appetizers were beautiful, varied, and delicious. The peking salad was well dressed and the duck slices were, of course, delicious. Of the main dishes, the peppercorn prawns were amazing and so was the sea bass. The scallops were a bit underwhelming and the green beans for $26 was just a small(ish) serving of just green beans -- lacking much saucing, spices or anything else that would make this dish different then a $2 green beans. I expected a bit more. The deserts were EXCELLENT. Seriously. Try the Hajicha mousse. The mixed drinks were overpriced. This is Vegas -- drinks will be overpriced. Not a problem, just be aware of it. So, is it worth it? The well-appointed higher-end atmosphere, the impeccable service, location at the Wynn, and the mostly excellent and tasty dinner... Yes, it's worth it. There are not that many Michelin-starred Chinese restaurants and this one did not disappoint.

Considered top of heap in it's class--as in, fancy and expensive Chinese food. The staff is quite professional but accommodating as well. My issue has only to do with the food and the price/value equation in the respect. It doesn't impress, thought pricing raises eyebrows. I have eaten there regularly for years but in the last year they have begun to take themselves entirely too seriously and stuffiness does not a good dining experience make. Personal opinion, clearly labeled.

Food: - Appetizers: Garden Dimsum is a and edible masterpiece - Entrée/main dishes: Sishuan beef short rib is to die for. So soft melts in your mouth. Cantonese chow mein is very light and tasty. The general Tao’s chicken excellent. - Desserts: the complementary small bites were sufficient for a sweet taste at the end of a full meal Drinks: the cocktails are unique and delicious; we tried the year of the rabbit, the seven sages, dragon King and Jace Emperor….. all good. The tea: good selection for after dinner digestive. The problem is the servings: they brought the tea pot with the loose leave sachet inside. They pour the first glass with the required steeped time, but they leave the sachet inside to continue steeping which of-course destroy the taste…. Bitter, so I recommend ask the service to immediately remove the sachet after the first steep required time. The Pu-erh is of very good quality. Just be aware of the very high caffeine content about 60-80mg for each 8ounce first steep serving. Service: during the very busy season and time, attentiveness will be compromised, so you have to ask for help when needed …. Such as more drinks and else. Ambience/atmosphere: Small place (relatively), with large groups especially during events in Vegas, become very loud, otherwise it is always a very nice luxury style dining experience. Value: Very reasonably priced (not cheap thought) for the highest quality and best taste of high end Chinese food Overall rating! 4 for service , 5 for food Recommendations: Highly recommended, a must stop for first time visitors. It is a must stop for us every time we visit Vegas.

We enjoyed Wing Lei so much in June that we went back with our friends. We started with dumplings, very good. Our friend had the Peking duck that they said was excellent. My husband and I both had the same dishes we had in June. 3 dish seabass and filet of seabass. We also had fried rice. Everything was delicious and service professional and caring. This is a fine dining establishment in every way. I highly recommend it. Beautiful setting, White table clothes and great atmosphere. AND not noisy so you can converse without yelling.

Was here for a special luncheon event. Out front and kitchen staff were 5 stars! Had potstickers, fried rice and Peking duck. Food was amazing. Highly recommend! Executive Chef Ming Yu is phenomenal.

Fabulous experience! Loved the service, food and cocktails. Our group of six ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees, including Peking duck. We were seated in their private room and shared all the food family style, using the big rotating center of the round marble table. Tasty food including chicken, wagyu beef, curry and scallops. Dessert treats were also great! Excellent service.

If you love Peking Duck, and/or authentic Chinese food, and have the budget for it, this is the place for you! We had the special Peking Duck prix fix. Five courses, including dessert, and more food than we could eat. We got the wine pairing with it. Next time, I probably will skip the wine pairing and choose my own wine, but the pairing was interesting. This is fine dining at its finest, and perhaps the best Chinese food in the USA.

My wife and I had a great evening of fine dining at Wing Lei. Great service and excellent entrees/ rice dish. Served a tasty cold tea drink which was a first for us. Quality wine line-up as well.

I remember walking through Wynn Resort within a few days of it’s opening in the spring of 2005; and among my first few visits, I began scouting the variety of fine dining establishments offered at this 5 Diamond Award winning hotel. Sadly I remember early on, reserving table at Wing Lei, only to have to cancel at the last minute. Thus, for whatever reason, I’m just finally getting to give this Michelin award winning restaurant a try; and let’s just see if it lives up to all the hype, let alone the awards. I believe if you’re reading reviews, and looking to dine here, you have probably already dined at a Michelin star restaurant, or similar; as the prices here are not a resemblance of any ordinary Chinese carry-out. In other words, this is an expensive restaurant, in every respect; and I believe most recognize this going in. The menu has quite a variety, including 2 separate tasting menus, appetizers, soups, and a strong lean to the Cantonese region. Ordered their version of wonton soup with velvet egg. Honestly, this was at best, a decent wonton soup. The flavors were ok, but nothing stood out reflecting its $17 price tag; especially given the small single bowl serving. On to the entree: I had told my server, that I’m a huge fan of spicy(Kung Pao, etc...) dishes, and he smiled, and immediately pointed to the menu for his suggestion: Szechuan Chili Prawns, with an added side of steamed rice(a la carte at $6.88). Wow! This is truthfully one of the best Asian dishes I’ve ever sampled, period. I can’t explain the flavors, and how they blended, but I could’ve eaten a “bucket full”.... Sadly, I was only served a small plate of this wonderful dish. The small servings seem to be a pattern around here. Note: The presentation of various dishes flying out of the kitchen, including this one, were impressive. Service: This is where I was a little worried coming in; having read various counts of slow, or even pompous service. Thankfully, my experience was just the opposite. The fine team of servers that waited on me, were busy running from table to table, but seamed to be in the right place each and every instance. Service here is in line with any of the other Wynn fine dining establishments I’ve tried. Before concluding, I need to note an encounter: I was aware of the dress code, but honestly thought dress shorts with a collard shirt, and Sperry’s would be sufficient on a 107 degree day. But was offered a pair of slacks, as no shorts of any kind are allowed... Ok: But I noticed a lady dressed in what I’d call a tank top, with shoulder to shoulder tattoos, being seated without an issue. Also, a rule of no children under 5 wasn’t enforced, as a crying toddler, in a stroller, was seated with his parents: And then the hostess literally parked the stroller in front of the bathrooms. I’m not going to deduct a star for this, because I’m not sure of each circumstance, and frankly, it’s none of my business. First let me say: I have no problem with children, as I’ve raised 3, and 5 grandchildren; but this is a 5 Star restaurant, so as much as I love even my own children, this isn’t a restaurant I’d bring them to at a young age. And if the restaurant is enforcing rules, then shouldn’t they enforce all of them, or none of them? Overall: The food here is very good, as is the service. But I can’t give it 5 Stars, simply due to the lack of value. The ingredients may be the freshest anywhere, as advertised: but to me, it’s still quite a bit over priced; especially given the small portions... And I’m still scratching my head on this whole Michelin Star thing hanging around here, as I just don’t see it. I’ve eaten at a few, and honestly, Wing Lei seems to be a small step below. But, I do recommend trying it; especially if you are wanting to sample some fresh Chinese, that will certainly be a bit different from your norm....

Firstly let me start by saying that the food was very good and I was sceptical about (as per the menu) how pretty standard looking Chinese dishes could be raised to Michelin level. In particular the hot and sour soup was spectacular. Outside of this, the food was of really good quality and I do wish that I had been motivated to order more dishes from the menu to provide a more accurate review but from what we had, I would describe the food as exceptional Chinese cuisine but not deserving of a Michelin star. The decor, setting and of course price point would be deserving of this honour. My partner and I ordered a starter, soup & main dish, again I did want to order more and it’s fair to say that I had been looking forward to this experience immensely but my mood soured whilst waiting for our table. The lady who greeted us was pleasant although she did advise that the restaurant was running a little behind and suggested a drink at the bar, no big deal of course but for a Michelin establishment that’s not a great look, I was on time, bang on time, but unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t. Moving on, the barman/bartender/obnoxious fool, call him what you will changed my mood and not for the better. His opening gambit when handing us the drinks menu “if it’s not on the menu then I don’t have it so no point asking”. My partner wanted a pink gin and was unsure if any of the gin’s on offer would be what she was looking for so she asked, the response? “Have you looked at the selection, I mean I can make it look pink by adding something to change the colour if that’s what you want?” She polity declined his offer and opted for a Hendricks & tonic. Although the fun didn’t stop there as he laughed when she asked if the tonic could be slim line. Not on the menu you see! I wanted a vodka mixed with lemonade, “do you want lemonade or sprite” I asked if he had Fever Tree mixers, his retort? “I have lemonade or sprite”. He got our drinks then started to have a good old chat to a lone diner who had finished in the restaurant and was having one at the bar, he was also rude but it made sense that they would get along, they proceeded to go through the menu and discuss the most expensive drinks he had at his disposal and the various clients who had enjoyed HIS very expensive wares. We were seated, relief that we didn’t have to suffer these clowns any longer! However….. our table was positioned as such that we could still see the bar, we watched as the little Danny Devito looking character and the idiot barman proceeded to gossip about other guests including my partner and I. Experience ruined, I was livid and about to kick up a a bit of a fuss, my partner however reminded me that we were in a Michelin star and Forbes 5 star restaurant…….Apparently! Food ordered, eaten and out of there as quickly as possible.

For a Michelin star restaurant, we were definitely disappointed in the food. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food left something to be desired. Probably will not return.

We have enjoyed several dinners here over the years and last evening's food/service only gets better each time. Do take time to try several appetizers - they are all delicious (garden dim sum) and will prepare your of the courses to follow. It is a beautiful environment and the staff is extremely careful and caring. Do plan ahead with reservations. And do plan to receive a great evening event. We continue to highly recommend Wing Lei.

Might have been my fault for what I ordered but noodles were average, the prawn toast was fabulous to be fair. The prices were higher than I expected which created a Mismatch between value and dining experience. Wine was again quite scary pricing with some being thousands of dollars. When poured I had a glass with sediment. When I told the waitress she simply removed the bottle which still had half small glass left in, very odd. Service was good and attentive and overall the food was nice but not of the level I was hoping for.

Wynn Las Vegas is back 100%! I enoyed a memorable dinner at Wing Lei last nite. I enjoyed the Peppercorn Prawns, so perfectly prepared and spicy. In addition the Garlic Beef Tenderloin was incredibly flavorful and the steak was so lean, perfectly prepared and delicious. I must call out the consistent service throughout my dinner. It was immediate, discrete never intrusive and flawless. They were helpful with recommendations. We have likely all noticed dips in service levels at restaurants who are struggling to staff up- not an issue at Wing Lei. They had 10-12 servers at all times in the dining room to deliver food, immediately pick up plates and serve their guests. The service was consistent and awesome. The combination of amazingly flavorful food and remarkable service made for perhaps my best restaurant meal of 2021 so far, thank you,.

If you want to experience a classy, delicious, fine dinning experience, but don't have hundreds of dollars to spare, you won't be disappointed here! First of all, the decor and atmosphere of this place is beyond words. It's sophisticated, nearly extravagant, without loosing warmth and comfort; absolutely beautiful. A small complaint is that my wife and are were seated a little close to another couple, so that they could easily hear our entire conversation.(4.5/10). We had made a note upon reservation that we are vegan, and the kitchen and waitstaff were VERY accomodating. The entire vegetarian menu can be adapted to be completely plant-based, as can a few appetizers. All service was performed with absolute friendliness, expertise, and professionalism; never snobby. Being our wedding anniversary, they even provided us with some complementary fruit for dessert, as there was no vegan desserts. (5/5) The food was also top notch. I highly recommend the dumpling garden, as it was one of the best appitizers I have ever had. The nut-based bed on which the dumplings sat was out of this world and the dumplings themselves, very interesting and beautiful (5/5). Our main courses were the Wok-Tossed Mushrooms and Vegetable Stir Fry. They were both very good, though a little similar (our fault though). I would reccomend getting a rice or noodle dish along with a stir fry dish. While both certainly good, they were not mind-blowing like some other fine, expensive restaurants we have been to (4/5).

Is Wing Lei expensive? Yes. Do you get what you pay for? Yes. Would I go back? Absolutely. There's no shortage of fine dining offerings in Las Vegas making choosing a restaurant difficult. I'm glad that I finally made time to try Wing Lei and certainly plan on returning. The service and ambiance at Wing Lei are incredible and no detail was overlooked by the attentive and professional staff. My table elected to try the peking duck tasting menu with wine pairings - this proved to be an excellent decision. Each course of the tasting menu was artfully presented and delicious. The tasting menu is truly a culinary experience, beginning with the presentation of your duck for the meal and proceeding through each delicious course. It's hard to go wrong in Las Vegas given the number of fine dining options available, especially at the Wynn. If you're looking for Chinese cuisine, however, look no further than Wing Lei.

This is one of our all time favorite restaurants anywhere. A peaceful refuge in the sea of chaos that is Vegas. Amazing service from the time they welcome you until the time you leave. The food is superb and our favorite is the Peking Duck. Our server, May, was the best. Attentive, knowledgeable and very kind. We will be back.

Wing Lei is an elegant fine dining experience at the Wynn. Although quite pricey, we were there as guests of a corporate host on a budget of $150 per person. We were able to experience a shareable menu, created by our server based on our requests, that stayed well within the budget all in, including drinks. Ordering the signature Peking Duck or Wagyu beef would have blown that budget to smithereens. The ambiance is classy Chinese inspired and quiet enough for comfortable table conversation. Dinner began with a complimentary compressed watermelon amuse bouche. The prawns with glazed walnuts, grilled marinated seabass, potstickers and pork belly were all excellently prepared and plated. As these are all Cantonese, they lack any distinctive spice or flavor, but were nevertheless tasty. Dessert was a very creative chocolate tree with a custard creme boulder and complementary assorted petit fours. Wing Lei would be a good spot for a special occasion or an important dinner meeting.

Being from an area of the U.S. where well prepared Duck is hard to come by we decide to finish this trip with Wing Lei in the Wynn due to a recommendation from a friend. Advice well taken as both the service and the duck itself were outstanding! Highly recommended!

We were a group of 6 girls who ate here on our last night in Vegas! Loved the food, decor and service fantastic! Lovely experience...

Great dinner and service. This is our third time to dine here. It’s on our short list when We are in Vegas. We had the Imperial Peking Duck with Ruinart Brut Rose. Also had Crispy Pork with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Yong Chow Fried Rice

We made reservations to celebrate our Anniversary and the service & environment at this restaurant did not disappoint , from the moment we arrived the service was impeccable . We selected a great bottle of wine and decided on the sampler , the Alaskan King Crab Salad and Ribs were fantastic , the Shrimp Toast was a bit tough and greasy . For dinner we had the American Wagyu Beef , General Tsao Chicken and the Vegetable Fried Rice , the Beef was a bit fatty but the Chicken was the best we've had , the Rice was very good as well . For our Anniversary , they bought us a delicious piece of cake and a selection of bite size desserts , all extremely good . The overall price was reasonable and less than we expected , would definitely recommend and return .

It is an excellent option for dining within the Wynn Hotel. Gourmet quality and dishes with a sophisticated presentation, as well as delicious. Very good atmosphere.

The Peking Duck Menu (prepared at tableside) was fantastic. The dishes were great. The desserts were awesome. The service was WAY ABOVE AVERAGE. We were there for a special occasion and left feeling like we were “walking on air”. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They have a dress code so, BE PREPARED (In this...The only downside was some Chinese guy spoke Chinese to the staff and was allowed to override the dress code in a room of otherwise 100% “Wing Lei rule following” well-dressed patrons. (I assume they established the dress code to go with the elegant dining room.) He was in a crazy looking t-shirt and matching tights was allowed to be seated in the center of the room. It wouldn’t have been as noticeable, except, he kept getting up to use the phone near the entryway (...over-and-over-and-over again). The other two people at his table seemed better prepared and well-mannered. The staff and decor were A+++. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the most special occasions and any time you want a great meal and experience.

Our group of eight dined for the first time at Wing Lei, even though we have been staying at the Encore for years. All the food was wonderful. I waited with anticipation for the King Crab Salad and it was sooo worth it. The Lemon Chicken was the best I've ever tasted.

One of the highlights of last year's Christmas was the brunch at Wing Lei. It was so personalized, so refined. This year, it seemed so different: - not taking reservations for any size party is still a mistake at this type of place (Jasmine at the Bellagio has a similar Christmas brunch and takes reservations) - the service was terrible - not refined, but like they were resigned to "feeding the crowds" - the dim sum selections were done in more mass quantities this year, rather than featured on a tray, then delivered to your table - the sushi station lamented they were not able to do sashimi, just rolls - when asked they said to order from your server - the served checked with a manager and said none was available - no dress code was enforced - the room seemed overly crammed to fit in the larger number of anticipated guests - was a logistical nightmare getting from the tables to the stations Overall, very disappointed and let down. High standards should be maintained, not relaxed just to seat more people. Next year, for sure, it's Jasmine - with a reservation. Maybe another time for dinner - hopefully it's more of a pleasant experience.

Had a great meal here. The space is fabulous and very comfortable. Food was top-notch, don't miss the potstickers and especially the Peking Duck. Worth the splurge here. Service was superb.

Flexibility is key right now. Our reservation we had 3 weeks prior to arriving was cancelled due to Wing Lei changing days of operation. So we had to give up either Sinatra or Wing Lei. We kept Wing Lei and do not regret it. Lovely restaurant. Reviews about poor service had us a little nervous, but this was not our experience. Hostess was adorable. Waitress was on point. We ordered a lot of food for sharing. She was quick to point out when we were ordering 2 dishes with similar taste profiles, so we could pick something different. Helped make sure we did not miss the must haves. Garlic beef tenderloin was the stand out of the meal unexpectedly. Peking duck and Crispy pork a close second. House made noodles divine. Bartender shaking up some fabulous cocktails (and mocktails for our 17 year old). 17 year old is practically a mochi ice cream connoisseur, and deemed it a 9 out of 10. Almond cookie ice cream also a wonderful finish. My expectations are always pretty low for dessert at a Chinese restaurant. So WL did impress. VERY limited live seafood options since they are getting the fish out of California. Only prawns and lobster last night. So one very disappointed diner in our party who was hoping for Dungeness crab. But thus are the times. Very decent wine selection. Dined 7/26

We tried Wing Lei as it is the only 1star Michelin Chinese restaurant in US. Boy we’re we disappointed. Service was nice too bad the food was so bland it could have been served in a nursing home! We had the braised duck and braised tofu. Duck was strong tasting with few vegetables. Tofu nothing special although bok Choi and mushrooms were nice. Even the hot tea was flavorless ( I don’t think they put enough tea leaves in to give it some taste The only star they deserve is a Red Star

The restaurant was beautiful and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The food was superb and the wait staff were wonderful.

Last time we were disappointed by this place, but I have to say that this time everything was perfect. I like the superb settings, very Asian, the service which is efficient and friendly, and the peoples going t this place. Prices are high even for Vegas, but we know it before going there.

My wife and I went to Wing Lei to have a celebratory dinner, and everything was excellent, starting with the delicious jasmine tea that we ordered in lieu of the excessive (for us) wine list’s choices. The appetizers we ordered - shrimp toast and a salad with slices of Peking duck - were top notch. The main course also was excellent though perhaps not as special as the appetizers - but we didn’t order the house specialty of Peking duck, which I will do if I get a chance at a next time some day based on how good the salad was! The experience overall is amazing - fantastic service, beautiful room, delicious food. The total feeling is of having dinner and a show all in one, which helps justify the cost of the meal. Highly recommended.

First time at this restaurant in the Wynn Hotel. Service was spectacular. they must have filled my water glass 8 or 9 times. My wife carried a purse and they had a little chair for her purse so it did not sit on the floor. We had the 5 course dinner. Each Carvier on top of egg white and some type seafood. I am not a foodie but have to say the every one of the 5 courses was over the top. The 5 course meal was $168 and shocking for me to say, it was worth every penny. The staff was perfect. They explained each dish as they served. The restaurant is beautiful and I hear it has some very rare awards. Even the restrooms inside the restaurant were clean, classy with a number of amenities. We will return and order off the ala carte menu next time to experience some of the other options. A winner.

The first Chinese restaurant in North America that earned the Michelin star. The restaurant was bright and spacious with beautiful laterns adorning the ceilings. We liked almost every dish we tried with the exception of the wagyu beef rolls, which were too oily for our taste. The Alaskan crab salad and the field greens Peking duck were refreshing. However, I was surprised to find the greens and avocado fresh; some wilted greens and brown avocado. The peppered shrimp and garlic beef were outstanding. I do wished we had come with a bigger party so I could try their famous Peking duck. They gave us complimentary petit fours for dessert. That didn't stop us from ordering their cherry dessert, which was delightful. The service was friendly. We would come back and try their other dishes.
If someone else is paying, you'll really enjoy it
If someone else will be picking up the bill, it will be hard not to enjoy Wing Lei at the Wynn. The food is very good and the service is prompt and polite without being too stuffy, but the bill will feel too high out of line for the experience. As a group of seven for dinner we were able to share a wide range of appetizers and main courses and every single one of them were items I would have been pleased if it had been my only selection. The highlights for me among our diverse selections were the Wok-Fried Assorted Mushrooms and the Braised Tofu. Clearly the ingredients were excellent and everything was well-prepared, but there were few surprises: no unexpected combinations nor any innovative presentations. For the cost (and the Michelin star reputation), I was hoping for something I couldn't find in any other major metropolitan area around the US. I'll gladly return--as long as someone else is paying the bill.
