Service was excellent and the food was also very tasty. We spent a wonderful hour here with the family...

Food was good , service excellent very good night. Good location. The bar was busy with lots going on.

I was afraid when we went in it was going to be typical tourist food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount of food. I had the carnitas irrito. My hubby has the ahi tuna bowl. There were GF options, seafood and pub fare. Would definitely come again. Outdoor seating in the shade was fabulous. Service was great and food came out quickly.

On our first visit we just had drinks. Cocktails were good, reasonably priced. The second time we went back for food and sat indoors. The portions were enormous and freshly cooked. Staff were attentive and we sat eating overlooking the sealions. What could be better!!

Very friendly staff. We went there several times for a drink and dinner. And never disappointed! Thank you.

Visited for an early dinner after a day at Alcatraz and walking around the pier. Nice place and good food. The only minor issue I found was the queue for the toilets, it was always very long.

Food, Service, Atmosphere and View of the Bay was great. So happy we found this wonderful great! place to eat after a long day of visiting the sites in San Francisco.

Very good meal, all 4 of us had something different, and each meal was tasty and came out quickly. Service was excellent from the staff.

Fun place, menu isn't huge, but good. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl, and took about half back to hotel. Huge portions. Waiter was great, place was crowded and lots of kids, what you would expect at this type place. Table are half surfboards, liked the decor. Good food for the prices, enjoyed the view.

Good service. Attentive staff. Order taken quickly. Food was hot and appetising with good portion size. The cocktails were good too

We ate here on our final day whilst killing time heading back to the airport, the sun was shining and the outside tables drew us in Ordered beers and 2 meals, burrito and taco, beers came immediately and food within 5 mins which was rather rapid! Food was okay, large portion, didn't eat it all, can only say it was nothing special but served a purpose.I wish I'd had the salad as they looked great! Staff very friendly

We ate here twice during our week and both times it was extremely tasty. I had a Hawaiian Burger and a Caesar salad and a couple of Sex on Baker Beach cocktails which were amazing. Prices were decent and the staff all friendly. Excellent location on Pier 39.

Located near the entrance of Pier 39, easy to fine. Service and food is excellent. It was a Saturday, they were busy. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a great staff, I received drinks and food in reasonable time.

The hamburgers were really good, the staff was kind and they were there for anything we needed, even when the restaurant was crowded. I recommend this place that's in the beginning of the Fisher man's Wharf when you're quickly hungry and for a good price !

As soon as we sat down a member of staff knocked a full glass of water over me, no apology or discount on the bill. Very basic food, burgers etc etc , will not return.

We stopped here for drinks and snacks. The place is at the beginning of Pier 39, so it's a perfect location for people-watching. The service was good, and we enjoyed our time there.

Whilst it was late, it was still open and we were seated. We both ordered the mixed seafood meal; all the seafood was over done and chips were cold. I am not a fan of coleslaw but it was the best bit. No doubt a great place for a cold beverage! I will not be back whilst in SF.

Fast, good….. for adults and kids !!! Will Come back asap People are so cool ! Friendly….. go without any doubt

Both of the beers I wanted to try were sold out. Ended up just having water. Would be nice to have more beers available. Especially if they are on the menu! I'm not all that interested in the mass produced stuff out there.

Polite and courteous service on arrival. Food was great and offered good value. We both had fish n chips.

Excellent food and great service. The pulled pork was the tastiest I’ve had and my wife loved the local delicacy of the Clam Chowder.

We had a delicious dinner here recently. The meals were a good size and very tasty. The servicié was friendly and timely and the atmosphere was relaxing

Reviews looked good so we though we would try this place. Was seated right away and by the window (was great because the air show was going on). The table and chairs were rather plain but OK. Guess I was expecting more of a theme setting. Food was mixed, my Shrimp was very good, however the Cole Shaw and fries were a little below average. Waitress was friendly and efficient till she went MIA during the meal. We needed to flag down another waiter to get our check. All in all a mixed experience.

Great place to eat on the wharf decent prices and staff and food was great. Great views of alcatraz from the window has the teriyaki bowl and taco salad.

We ate at wipeout for the first time. We wished this was in the Netherlands. Than we would go there multiple times. Very kind staff and good food and vibe there! Definitely go there if you can.

Worst fish and chips ever .. hardly any fish just lumps of over cooked batter .. waitress was great , not her fault that the food was so bad !

The restaurant sits in a prominent spot on the pier. They have a large outdoor terrace and plenty of place to sit inside. Extensive menu. Not very special in terms of food. Price-wise it is more nicely priced than the other restaurants

We spotted this place due to the queue outside. Logic said that so many people can't all be wrong. The place was bustling and we waited for about 10 mins for a free table. I was starting to think that we would have to wait ages for our order. Never have I been so wrong! The drinks came immediately and the meal shortly after. We both had the fried combo which was delicious. I had the brulé cheesecake for dessert which was also delicious. Our server was superb, very attentive and asked if everything was ok each time he passed our table. Good food, good service, good beer. No complaints from us.

The waiter chose the tip himself to pour without asking us anything And obviously, he didn’t give us the receipt so we wouldn’t notice 😡

Visited on Christmas Day. The food was great. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Good and drinks arrived quickly. It wasn’t terribly busy when we visited. We had a great view from our table. We very much enjoyed our lunch.

Dropped in for lunch initially and was quite surprised at the offering on the menu. The food was excellent and more than enough. on the second visit we shared a meal due to the size of the portions, which they were happy to cater for. Again the food was excellent, we ended up visiting several times over our stay and was not disappointed at any time, great food at a reasonable price and portions big enough to share, what more do you want?

We had a great experience. The service was quick and the food was great. We ordered the Hawaii 5 Ohhh pizza, Caesar salad, Chicken burrito and Fish and chips, no complaints about any. Reasonably priced.

Everything was great ! Service, food, location. If you want to spend some time with your family, this place is perfect

Very nice. Great atmosphere down on the pier. Drinks where great and so was the food - we have steak burrito, two pizzas. Service was good too

We spent a week in San Francisco. While there we stopped in at Wipeout for a beer and lunch. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. the establishment was relaxed and comfortable. The food portions were large, we could have shared something. I enjoyed the salmon BLT, my husband had a burger. All the food was very good and delivered in a timely fashion. We enjoyed the it so much we went back another day to enjoy a few beers. Again we sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. Both bartenders were friendly & knowledgeable. I have to say........bartenders can make or break the experiences. Aldrin & Juana certainly made our experiences a positive one! thanks to both of them. the beer choices were delicious too!

Arrived at 7 pm, ordered 3 lagers, 1 Stella and 2 wipeout , if we hadn’t paid €10.50 we would have left them, awful.. this should have been a warning sign but carried on and ordered food, a Caesar salad and 2 burritos, the salad was literally a dry plate of lettuce with no sign of sauce, and the burritos were undercooked and tasteless.. we were passed our bill minutes after finishing our meal and they were clearly in a rush to close up… waste of money and calories !

I had the Wipeout Fried Combo consisting of cod, calamari and coconut shrimp it was delicious and they serve Blue Moon so it would be rude not to have a few. We called again on our third and last day in San Francisco and had the Hawaiian burger it was delicious too plus a couple of Blue Moons. Good service and clean.Definitely recommend.

Had lunch on a Saturday afternoon on the patio. Service was excellent. Great vibe and fun people watching. We had the nachos with chicken and coconut shrimp. Both delicious however only received about 6 shrimp - seemed less than ideal value given the price. Would go again for sure.

We came in and got a table fast! We got the menus and got surprised by the amount of food. After waiting for 2 minutes we ordered our food and it arrived very quickly! We ate the food and it was cooked to perfection and we all loved it. We got the bill and tipped because of this amazing resteraunt! Definitely recommend to others!

We stopped to eat at this restaurant which was full and had a very large terrace, we ordered a burrito to share and some potatoes with garlic and parmesan, all very rich and as always in USA huge amounts. We recommend it.

Great food and craft beer selection. Nice open patio area. Server was slow to ask if we wanted to eat. Again busy place and not enough help. Loved the wipeout lager and jalapeño burger. Was huge. My BF had grilled fish burrito and again was a very huge serving. Great place

We stopped here for drinks. The place is at the beginning of Pier 39. It's a great location for people-watching, and the service was very good.

Really great clam chowder in Sour dough bread! Wow those garlic fry’s!!!!!!!!! Going back again for sure. The view is great of the harbor

Food was good but honestly, I can't remember what I had. The rating was based on experience first and food second. Grat place to watch and see people as they shop. Drinks could have been prepared beter.

Served by a nice waiter. Good food Good place just at pier 39. Decor on surf theme. A lot of choice for the food even for vegetarians like us.

Could not decide whether to go here or elsewhere for dinner having a day around Fishermans Wharf....Glad we did.... Service excellent, seated at the back with a view of the bay and the food was hot fresh and filling. I have never seen shrimp as big as that, the fish & chips were the best on the holiday and the Pizza filled me up - along with good drinks Happily would go back

horrible service FATIMA was completely rude. She was entitled and as a server rarely checked on our table. Definitely won’t be coming here ever again!!! The food was also very mid and cold when served. We rounded out the check and she was completely ignorant without knowing our situation!

Say at a really nice outdoor fire pit, had tasty nachos, met some friendly staff and felt the good vibes.

Venue located at the beginning of the famous PIER 39. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. We tried a combo with battered fish, including coconut prawns and also the salmon dish with mango and rice. They were both very rich. The waiters who served us were friendly. Nice experience.

We ordered an assortment of chowder and starters. Service was very quick with the first food arriving after only a couple of minutes with the Chowder and other plates arriving around 5 min later. The Chowder was nicey seasoned, but as it was the only one I had in San Francisco I could not compare it to other places. I also had some hot wings , which were nicely cooked, tender and juicy, and coated in a spicy tobacco style sauce. I tried one of the order of onion rings but found them too dry, although my friends finished them off.

Had the coconut shrimp and was greeted by a horrendous bout of food poisoning which included violent vomiting.

Good vibe in this place. Food is awesome! Staff friendly too. Only visited at night when we landed but i reckon the views 9f the bay will be awesome in the daytime. We will pop back before we move on to our next destination.

Went to this restaurant after a long day at Alcatraz for diner. Very pleased with the quality of food and service. The portions were big and the girls enjoyed the very potent cocktails.

It was a very nice and cozy place, the price-quality ratio is very good. It is suitable for families😃 The waiters were also very friendly. The food was superb. It really is a restaurant worth visiting

We ate there. We had the BBQ burger and a burrito carnetas. Both were delicious and plentiful. The staff were very nice and the location is great. Right on Pier 39. We can only recommend it. We will definitely be back 👍😎

Had a meal here while at Pier 39. Good location on pier 39. Food was great. Service was good. Had a good selection on the menu.

Visited during fleet week so it was busy. Weren’t able to get an outside table so sat near the bar. The food was really good but the service was a little slow.

Our fave Pier39 bar and restaurant. Love the chilled vibe, decor, food and beer - Pacifico on draught 👏 Good service too. We loved sitting out front on bar stools drinking the beer.

We visited here on our first day of our holiday and the food was just so good that we had to eat there again before leaving San Francisco!! The staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! There was something for everyone on the menu.

We decided to visit this restaurant whilst in San Francisco. We loved the food. I had the fish sandwich. I’ll definitely be back. Our waiter Nick was outstanding with his service. Extremely cute too. Thank you.

Lunch with family. We ate a Caesar salad and two plates of tacos, which were good. Small misunderstanding with the waitress, but it immediately turns out to be no problem

Located on Pier 39 it's a handy spot for solo travellers and family, an extensive menu for food and drink, colourful interior with a great outdoor seating area which is great for people watching. I didn't see gluten free options specifically advertised but I wasn't looking either, trusty nachos did the job. Staff are very friendly.

Stopped at wipeout for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Staff was very friendly. This is a great spot at Pier 39. The salmon BLT was excellent as well as the tuna Poké bowl. After your meal, you can walk down to pier and check out the seals.

Beautiful place, and very good food. The service was not very good. We had to ask for our drinks many times and they kept forgetting. Also our starters came after our main dishes.

We visited this restaurant whilst on a short break to the city with family. We all ate different items from the menu and I ordered “chicken” tacos. When they arrived the chicken looked a bit dark but I put that that down to the sauce. When I bit into the taco I found the meat to be quite chewy. I stopped a waitress and asked her to check if I had received chicken or beef tacos. She looked at my meal and said it was definitely chicken and it was tough because it was deep fried. I continued to eat but found fat on some of the meat , it was not chicken. I then stopped our original waiter who checked the meal and stated it was very much beef. He apologised and comped the meal but even then the other waitress insisted it was chicken and even picked around the meat on my plate to try and prove herself right. Wipe Out - please train your staff fully on what you serve and particularly the different between chicken and beef. Laughable !!!!!

Great restaurant extremely busy every night.Always a good sign ! Not bad prices either. We had dinner here on several occasions and it did not disappoint.

Fabulous and Marvelous are the best 2 words that come to mind when writing a review for this Bar and Grill! We went here while in the area after visiting the Alcatraz Island. They weren't super crowded as I thought they'd be since it was Spring Break and Lunch time! Service was Fantastic from beginning to end! Everything we ordered tasted Amazing!! At the end of our meal the manager even came to our table and talked to us for a bit and thanked us for coming and also gave us additional information of the area of other good places to eat! I would recommend anyone to go here! I think they have a little bit of everything on there menu to satisfy anyone's cravings! Thanks Wipeout Bar and Grill for leaving a great taste of San Francisco in our mouths! We will be back!!!

A cool bar with a good outdoor area to sit for a few drinks in the afternoon sunshine. Friendly and fast service. We were looked after very well by our lovely server; a young Irish lad, Kevin :)

Nice place at the entrance to Pier 39. Popped in for dinner. Service was prompt and friendly, menu had a good variety. Burger was tasty and cooked as ordered, they were also more than happy to give me extra jalapeños on the side! Beer was a nice, crisp lager.

Went there for lunch- the service was good, so was the food. Nothing fantastic but everything on point

Nice restaurant that offers traditional American cuisine. Burger, burrito etc…huge. Nice welcome and pretty cool setting. If you're in the area you can do it afterwards, I wouldn't go so far as to say that you have to travel specifically for him! It remains a nice restaurant

It was a very good restaurant. The food is really good. They have nice decorations. And helpfull employeess. The food came really fast :)

Stopped in for drinks on a couple of occasions and then had a late lunch here on our last day. The food was reasonably priced, very tasty and served as massive portions. Good selection of drinks and very tasty cocktails.

I wasn't expecting much from this very touristy restaurant. But the grilled salmon dish with vegetables was really very good, and not too fatty. Helpful and rather quick service during rush hour.

The truth is that very bad food Quality we ordered nachos and the tortillas arrived all burned on Fatal cheese Looked like gum and also cold

I had a grilled salmon which was very good as well as a cocktail. As someone who loves desserts, I couldn't have one because the meal was so plentiful! Well cooked fish, the accompaniment also well seasoned. The waitress was friendly but not always available, the wait was long at the end to get the bill. A downside for the atmosphere because the restaurant is large and extremely noisy. Well located at Pier 39, I went there on the way back from my visit to Alcatraz.

In the famous Pier 39 de san fransisco, you will find a good option for fast food such as this place. The service is very good, the food is also good, there is free refill of sodas, the prices are normal, and depends on the table you are assigned, has a view of the sea.

We visited twice during our 3 day stay we enjoyed it that much. The fish and chips were great, two large pieces of chunky white fish with beautiful crispy batter, the pizzas also tasty and very filling both piping hot. The weather so warm we enjoyed the outside seating and benefitted from the heaters once it cooled. The staff were lovely and friendly and seeing everyone enjoying themselves and the Christmas lights it really was a great atmosphere.

We have been there several times at several times of the day on different days and have always had a great meal. There is something for everyone and the service is pleasant. I recommend.

On the first night of our holiday - just off an 11-hour flight, and nearly 3-hour wait at immigration - we wanted to grab a quick bite before heading off to bed. We were staying close to Pier 39 and as well as wanting our first glimpse of the sea lions and Alcatraz, it was somewhere convenient where we knew we'd get a choice of food. I had the fried fish sandwich, whilst my husband went for the carne asada tacos. Both were great - and definitely hit the spot! It was very informal dining, with a nice buzz around the place. The staff were friendly and accomodating. There were lots of family groups in the night we dined. I would definitely have taken our children, when they were younger. Perfect spot.

Disgusting experience with my burger meal, I found a big fat moth in my lettuce. Very poor service, never going there again.

the ingredients and when the order came in they just microwaved or broiled the platter as the cheese had hardened when first served. I noticed a couple of other tables’ look similarly hardened and dried. Other than this very tempting and popular dish, service and fish&chip were great. I hope management make amend

A stone’s throw from the pier is this beautiful surf style pub. Some tables are made of surfboards. Quality food with generous portions. Helpful and professional staff

Excellent food and reasonable prices. We were seated immediately around 4:30 and out server was very pleasant. The burger and the fish tacos were fabulous!

We had the Pacific cod and chips, lovely batter and fish, and although it was very busy the staff were friendly and attentive

Hungry and cold, it inspired us for the cheerful weather. Average menu, Mexican influence but done quite well.

The best and richest clam cowder in San Francisco. Very nice drinks, very comfortable atmosphere, to visit with family.

Casual atmosphere, great service, tasty food, cozy environment, free refill of soft drinks. Recommended!

The menu choice is fab, and so difficult to choose an option. Was busy, staff friendly and we were given time to look at the menu. Once ordered it wasn’t too long before our delicious freshly cooked food came out. Totally enjoyable. Will be back again!

Very comfortable from drinking and eating. The atmosphere is very nice. The service very courteous and fast.

Great spot on the pier to grab some seafood or fast food. Very quick service and generous portions and a nice atmosphere/vibe inside

Nice shop with great staff, delicious food. Fast service ! Clean toilets. Friendly staff. 👌🏻😎

The Wipeout Bar is a great spot to hang out and having a drink and or have some regular bar food.So what makes the Wipeout a beacon within the regular bar community. It´s the people working there.Starting with Ryan the manager who´s been praised by all his employees as a descent and straight forward manager as well as by us (from Germany) customers.Ryan saw us a day before in one of his other businesses, had a chat with us and did recognize us when we came to the Whipe out bar, starting a nice chat right away.Creating an atmosphere of comfort and feel good.Talking with his restaurant manager Rocia, she really went on and on about the great atmosphere within the team and the focus on the customer. Thanks for a great afternoon (for jet laged tourists from Germany) to Ryan and his whole team. We´ll stop by when we´re back in SF.All the best

Large portions, everything we ordered (5 of us) was perfectly cooked and so tasty! Service was excellent

Hmmm, interesting. Had some drinks yesterday but dinner the next, a very different story. Mains arrived at the same time as the entree. Then we were going to get another drink but the bill was given to us but when we tried to pay we couldn't find any wait staff. Probably under staffed.

we have visited this place over the past few years when on vacation from england, staff are quick to seat you, quick to take your orders and deliver food and drink, the food is fantastic, never had a bad experience, we ordered pizzas and burgers, oh and them addictive garlic gnarly fries, portions are huge, well worth checking this place out, its our number 1 place to go to when we are in san francisco.

Can't fault the food or serving staff. The food was excellent and the serving staff were very attentive. Overall a very good experience.

Good good. Big portions. Quick and friendly service. A nice place to eat while visiting Pier 39. Good variety on the menu.

We went there because visually it was cute but it turned out to be a great restaurant. We took 1 SALMON BLT 1 FRIED FISH SANDWICH really good, clean local and very efficient and kind waiters. Note of merit for our maid Lorena C who was really good

Relaxing atmosphere, great service and food. Brilliant spot to relax at pier 39. Would recommend to go to wipeout bar & grill.

With so many food outlets fighting for attention in and around Pier 39, Wipeout stood out for us. It was busy (which is usually a good sign!). We took a table inside and were presented with a reasonable menu selection. Food was of good quality and as usual sizeable! Some nice pale ales to try too! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The burrito was bigger than expected and accompanied by nachos, with spicy sauce on the burrito, I should have removed it on THE SIDE, it was very spicy ...my friends' food still looked spectacular and abundant

We came here on our last day in San Francisco. The food was good. Good portion size. The hot wings were huge. Cool to see the surfing memorabilia throughout the restaurant.

VERY busy from May to November. If you can get a window seat you can see the boats and hundreds of sea lions on the dock. The food is OK. The salmon salad has a small 4oz piece of salmon and the rest lettuce. The fish and chips has battered white fish (cod? doubtful) which is 60% batter. $75 with water and tip. This place is more about the location and if you are lucky the view. Note: this large place has four co-ed toilets and there is always a serious line. Plan ahead.

The food was great. I had a hamburger with pineapple and sweet potato fries. Yum. The wife had clam chowder and oysters. Out server was from Ireland visiting. Great experience.

Nice quick service and plenty to select from. The menu had options for everyone. Highly recommend the clam chowder! Service was friendly and efficient. Great family restaurant.

Very good location, on the famous Pier 39, very reasonable in Awards, nice staff and dishes arrive quickly and are tasty.

Ordered crab cakes , these were unseasoned and tasteless look like these were shop bought hardly any crab meat in them. Another member of my party ordered spicy fish sandwich this had hardly any fish in it and was so overcooked we had to send it back

Its not worth it. Th e food was cold and tasted horrible. Don’t go unless you’re starving. I don’t really have anything positive to say. The waiter asked how it was, i shrugged and he said “good”. Maybe my shrugging isn’t good enough.

We went here and we're pleasantly surprised it's a local restaurant and not a chain which is what most of fisherman's wharf is if you are on the main pier. Burgers were good, the menu offered everyone something. The only negative was it took forever for our server to greet us and for us to get drinks and they weren't that busy as there were plenty of empty tables. Once we ordered the food came in a timely manner. Average price for San Francisco.

When we arrived the place was very busy and loud. We waited a few minutes before being shown to a table. We had to ask for menu's. Our server arrived who was a different person to the one showing us to our table. The server came back about 10 minutes later with menu's amd straight away asked if we wanted to order. I asked for a few mins to read the menu. 15 mins later he returned to take our order. We ordered a BBQ pizza to share and portion of fries. On the table next to us was a woman and 2 children. One of the children was uncontrollable, banding the table, screaming, kicking the table. It wasn't until the child, (about 8), threw the salt bottle and it hit my wife did I suggest to the woman she leave. The servers just stood watching the scene. The woman screamed at me and a woman came over and said the lady and her children needed to leave. Two more servers joined us. In the end they left. The food arrived shortly after and we asked where the drinks were. Apparently they forgot. The food was average at best. We ate half of the food and ordered the bill as we just wanted to leave. The bill arrived and we paid. It's usual in the USA to leave a tip, but we didn't as we were disgusted with the whole experience. I wouldn't come here if we return to San Francisco again. Not only that, but the food was over priced. About £50 for 2 cokes and a pizza.

An overall positive experience at Wipeout Bar & Grill. Pros: Margaritas are excellent, well dosed and full of flavors. Perfect location: In the heart of Pier 39, ideal for a break after a walk. The service is fast, which is always appreciable. Area for improvement: The welcome is a little disappointing, the staff could be more warm and welcoming. In short, a good place to enjoy a top location and delicious drinks, despite a welcome that could be improved. I recommend for a relaxed time!

Uh Oh!!! What started out great --- ordered a cup of Clam Crowder; hubby ordered Nachos; I ordered Fish & Chips The server was SLOW & people who arrived after us, received their meals before he even took our order. Then he did a bad balancing act when our food arrived. He dropped the ClamWin Crowder and SPLATTERED ALL OVER MY HUSBAND!! UNACCEPTABLE IS NOT EVEN THE WAY WE FELT. Server just stood there stunned while I got the manager to get us wet towels to try to salvage my husband. Hope this server didn’t burn himself in the spill. Fresh food was brought out quickly. Quite the experience and food was good. It was the EXPERIENCE that soon will not be forgotten!

To be honest we were not expecting much. We’d just got off a late Alcatraz trip, we were hungry and found that a lot of places had already shut. This was the first place we found open and looking a bit garish and in the middle of Pier 39, we were expecting high prices and poor quality. Our experience couldn’t have been more different Despite arriving 20 mins before closing we were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Our order was taken quickly too much to the agreement of our 2 starving kids. The menu offered plenty of choice and the food was fresh, very tasty and reasonably priced We also enjoyed being seated right next to the kitchen

Luis was really awesome on their recommendations and really helpful and knowledgeable of the area, even tho was a busy day, was an excellent service.

We had a lovely lunch of fish and chips ( cod )with a milkshake and a beer for around $ 65.00. The service was quick, friendly, and polite.

I was really excited to try this place as it always looked busy. I was very disappointed though, the food came out way too quick once ordered, the food was barely warm, chips were cold, the burger looked a bit pink in the middle but by that time it was too late as partly eaten. I spent most of the night sick which nearly ruined our holiday & last day. Will definitely give this place a miss if I ever visit again.

Very delicious fish & chips as well as burgers had. Price okay. View of the Golden Gate. Service was also very attentive. Thank you again.

i ate at Wipeout bar and grill a couple of times and the foo was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and the view from the back window is wonderful.

Friendly staff, extensive menu, quality food, good value for money. very Californian location, recommended

Went in had a milkshake that was lovely😊😊sat there for a while looking at the people going by busy stop didn't eat therethe price 💲💲💲💲if the milkshake omg then u have to tip just be aware of that when going to eat or drink 🤔🤔🤔🫤🥺

Visited twice during our 4 night stay in San Francisco. Lovely freshly cooked and tasty food, burgers were amazing, fish sandwich was delicious. Reasonable prices and friendly service . Would recommend.

Excellent food great staff visited from UK loved the vibe. Would recommend the fish and chips was spot on .......👏👏👏

Food was really nice, typical American food. Service spot on. I’m Australian so found it expensive but probably on par to every other restaurant in the area. Definitely recommend .

Service was really bad by a lady who was helping us but actually she was treating very bad. The portions were really small you might think you are şn a French restaurant trying to take your money but not giving anything

WE were eleven in three familles and WE would to pay by crédit card but they accept only two cards, how Can WE do?

Owned by the same people who have Fog Harbour. The food is of the same standard, but normal size portions and reasonably priced. The staff aren't rushed off their feet and were very attentive. We were served by Morgan and she was friendly and attentive. Gave us time to order and no rushing of us to eat up and go. The model for these restaurants are to turn tables quickly, which at the likes of Wipe Out works.

Good location. The waiters were not very friendly, but the service was fast and efficient. We took tacos, they were good and well served.

Returned once again to wipeout and like the first time both the service and the staff were excellent,,also get a discount on my bill when waiter asked had I a discount cart from my hotel,,I told her I hadn’t got one,but she gave me discount just the same,,, be heading back again tomorrow night 👍

Good food, drinks and friendly atmosphere ! open late till 10 pm. Some of the restaurants are closing at 9pm which is inconvenient.

Even although we only had a few beers and only a entree it was very enjoyable Waitress was very friendly and checked on us a few times

Good burgers and bbq burgers. Discreet Burritos. Pleasant atmosphere, music a bit too loud. Lively staff. Very fast Service

We also ate there because the place was very crowded and we thought it couldn't be that bad, we better have gone somewhere else. We had a pull burger and a burrito and were very disappointed. With all due respect, the burrito tasted like absolutely nothing, although the portion was large and plentiful. Unfortunately, the kindness of the staff cannot make up for the bad food. We travel a lot, but that was simply impossible and therefore we cannot understand the rush We also ate there because the place was very busy and we thought it couldn't be that bad, we would have been better off going somewhere else. Average food not worth waiting for.. Look at your bill. They automatically add 5 % to your check. My server said the owner keeps the money it’s not the servers. What a scam.

We ordered 2 burgers and they didn't taste like anything, plus my wife found some rice grains on her plate.

I visited this restaurant with my daughters. The food was very good. The service was fast and the atmosphere was very loud because it was busy. Our main concern and total confusion was the one bathroom for everyone. I walk into the restroom and there are men standing there yes there are private stalls, but I walk out and there’s three men washing their hands. I felt so uncomfortable I couldn’t even brush my hair. I understand it is San Francisco and it’s a big city but my God you need men’s restroom, a family restroom, and a women’s restroom. My adult daughters were texting me from the stalls saying how uneasy they felt. Management—what is the deal?

The food was basic and just edible enough to say it was food. The service was atrocious! I could see the staff huddled together, chatting, not working. Tried to get a refill and it took forever for someone to notice and when they came it was like I was a burden. Our waitress came to our table twice; once to take our order and another time to give us our bill. They shove you an iPad at you after payment, hoping to get a tip. Yeah no that ain’t happening. Would 1000% recommend elsewhere at pier 39.

Great food, great service, friendly staff. Will accommodate things off the menu if they can. Recommended.

We did not like the food at all!! And the service was not good and it was expensive!! We had meals in other restaurants and this one was bad!!

Ate here twice when we stayed near fisherman’s wharf. Place was clean, service was fast and staff polite. Food was good for what you would expect, it’s not fine dining but a good standard of this type of restaurant. Nachos were very good as was the Burito I had. Nothing negative to say, if I stayed near again I would eat here again

Called in for a bite to eat and drink and was very impressed by the location, the food and the professionalism of the staff. Situated on Pier 39 it also had the atmosphere associated with the location.

Great place to enjoy a quick break and a drink. Would highly recommend the Coconut Margarita. Very nice atmosphere with a good buzz.

Met family here. Mixed age range. Mexican and burger options. Vegetarian and gluten free options. Place picked by younger members of the group but very enjoyable. Waiter was happy and friendly. Would return.

We stopped for lunch here at Pier 39 before doing some shopping and it worked out well. I had the BBQ Burger which was okay plus the very good sweet potato fries. My wife had a very large chicken burrito with tortilla chips and said she enjoyed them. Very quick service on a busy day.

Our party of three enjoyed our dinner at Wipe Out Bar and Grill. We had the Baja fish tacos, Wipeout fried combo to a cheeseburger, all was delicious. The Wipeout was a cute place and great location on the pier. Would go a hundred times over.

One more place on the pier to eat. We liked the fish & chips a lot. The most pleasant thing, without a doubt, is the terrace and the atmosphere there. The waiter who served us was not particularly friendly and was too attentive to bringing us the bill as soon as we had finished eating.

Excellent service, food presentation and taste was great.good atmosphere and excellent customer service.our server namanjia had great service.

Stopped in on busy Pier 39 and got a table for lunch right away. Both inside and outside seating. Quick service. Simply shared one Nashville hot chicken sandwich between the two of us. Huge sandwich. So delicious. Just the right amount of heat and filled with crunchy coleslaw. Great French fries, too! Sorry, no picture, we devoured it too fast!

My husband and I spent a few days in San Francisco and went down to Pier 39. There are numerous places to eat and we stopped at Wipeout Bar and Grill. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio. My husband got pizza and I got the Teriyaki Chicken bowl. The pizza was good and the teriyaki chicken was delicious. Our server was George and he was excellent. I highly recommend.

Wanted to stop here on my last visit and finally made it during this visit. Wish I hadn't. Despite the fantastic service, the food quality/taste fell far short of my expectations. My daughter was very disappointed in her calamari and my shrimp was tasteless

Bar has great view ms if the harbour and Alcatraz. It’s nicely decorated in a vibrant way. Menu had good choice of food and the milkshake was really tasty. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl which was nice and my husband had fish sandwich which he loved. Just a shame the waitress couldn’t manage a smile!

With a large indoor air-conditioned room but also options for outdoor tables overlooking the pier, the place is beautiful, with a creative and cheerful decor. Menu with varied options, I think it suits many tastes. Cold beer and they let you taste a small amount of the beer you would like before ordering which is great for those not familiar with American beers. Price is not abusive.

I sat there for about 10 minutes before anyone even asked if I’d like something to drink. After eating my plate was taken away and I had to wait again for my bill to come.

Having to eat while fighting off pigeons on the tables and ground were frustrating when nobody seemed to care. Service was very slow and it was like we were a inconvenience when we had a discount card as they wouldn’t let us use it even though it was from our hotel to use there!

Gives a “Margaritaville” type of vibe (for us Florida peeps). The prices were VERY reasonable…definitely compared to some of our other stops on The Pier. Our server, Axel, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Would definitely go again (and will) if there’s time.

We had a layover at SFO and had almost a full day to spend in the City. We hopped into the BART and made our way to the waterfront and found this location. Great sandwich and a cold beer. Great lunch.

Me and my daughter had the Chicken strips with fries, the Teryaki chicken bowl, and the Tacos. They were so delicious, we we went there twice in a row. Absolutely delicious would go again. 💯

Very good meal. We enjoyed our dinner. We would recommend the restaurant for other tourists, they will come to San Francisco.

We had an amazing time! Although the restaurant was very busy during Fleet Weekend, our food and service were impeccable!

This could be so much worse based in the tourist heart of Pier 39. Its not the finest meal you'll ever have but it is solid, fairly priced for the location and I like the fire pit outdoors.

The food was very delicious and there was also a big choice of food also for our child. The server was really proactive and we would definitely pick this location again if you come back to San Francisco.

We had reservations at this restaurant on a busy weekend, but were able to walk in about an hour early and had no issues getting a table. The food was pretty good: we started with loaded fries that had a lot of garlic, the fish/chips were really good, but the taco trio was hit and miss. The cokes were super expensive, $10 for 2. The atmosphere is fun but beware of the bathrooms. There is just one big bathroom with about 5 toilet rooms, mixed genders. Interesting concept. Probably wouldn't eat here again mainly for the price.

We really like this restaurant. Great variety that meets all tastes. The service is very good and the price is fair. I found the best option on pier 39.

Huge burrito, as per the sign, and also very good! Hamburger also delicious, only demerit note the dessert, the cream tasted strange. Courteous staff, one stop hit and run after a walk to pier 39
Prefect burgers
A good option on the liveliest pier in San Francisco. It was full of people every time we passed by there so we decided to try it, we ate 4 different burgers and all of them were top class.
