Wrong location

By Mark B |

So as I am browsing for a spot in Brooklyn I saw this. The address and the location are totally wrong here. Wo Hop is at 17 Mott Street in chinatown in Manhattan. Go down the stairs. The one at 15 Mott Street level is ok but its different and not the same as 17 which is way better. Hopefully they fix this

Amazing Chinese food!

This was my first time to Chinatown and I had read great reviews concerning the restaurant. You go down these stairs into a medium sized room. Very busy and feels very authentic. Large food portions for your money and the best chinese food Ive ever had. Will absolutely come again. It may be cash only if I remember correctly but unsure if it was or I just decided to pay in cash which is rare for me.

Wow!

Delicious Christmas Eve dinner. The wait in line was well worth it. Very cozy atmosphere. Won-Ton Wor Soup was what my husband has been searching for and we found it !! If you are in NYC, go here! Even our Taxi driver knew where it was.

Good food

This restaurant was recommended to us by our walking tour guide and it was very good! You may have to queue but it's worth it! The portions are very large so consider sharing dishes. Good value as the food is inexpensive but very tasty!

Great discovery

Go to the basement room. Very quirky. Signed $1 all over the walls. Food is good and authentic. Prices are great. Don't expect the Ritz as you will be disappointed. Go in with a spirit of adventure and enjoy NYC with a 1930's feel.

Perfect EVERY TIME

Wo Hop is a place I have been to many times. When I am in NYC, I always go to Chinatown for s great meal at Wo Hop. I have ordered appetizers, doups, entrées, etc snd have NEVER been disappointed. The only thing about Wo Hop th as t I want to emphasize is you HAVE to go to the one th as t is DOWNSTAIRS! ) There is a no ther street level locstion, but you ONLY want the downstairs location.

Great Chinese food- huge servings

Tucked in the heart of Chinatown, in a tiny basement is this food gem. Don’t expect anything fancy, just sit back and enjoy this very quaint place. We were four peeps and ordered a dish each but couldn’t Finnish even half the food. It’s yummy! We ate the spicy beef and the sesame chicken as well as a mushroom rice and broccoli - everything was amazing. Including the very old waiter who warned us about dishes that would be too spicy.

Hardcore Chinese restaurant, had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get a table. Arrogant Chinese service just as expected and fantastic food. I will go back next time Im in the big Apple and I recomend it to all my friends..

They dont want a small amount of tip!

Been here yesterday. We cant barely understand the waiter & we give him a $5 tip but he doesnt wanna leave the table he wants more. And we noticed that every server are giving price on how much they wanna take to the other customers. Food was great but we are not satisfied on the service.
