We were in town for a family event. We had been going all weekend. We had enough time to have a nice sit down bite before we left for the airport. Not quite enough to go downtown to a “better” restaurant so we decided to give this a try since it was in our hotel. The hotel it’s self is great and the staff is awesome. Woven and Bound not so much. We were in during the early afternoon about 2:00. The place was not very busy and we were seated by a few other groups. Not long after we were seated one of the people in one of the other groups got up and hunted down one of the servers. I wasn’t sure what the issue was but I soon found out. We waited for 10 mins before a server acknowledged us. Even then it was I’ll be right with you. He then went to the table where people had complained and took their order, then another table and then us. He took our order very curtly and left. Mind you he had not even given us water. We ordered an iced tea and waters with the meal. Another 5-10 mins went by and no water or anything. There were three or four wait staff looking like they were doing things but obviously were not. I got up and asked one of them for our iced tea and water. Several minutes later she showed up with a pot of hot tea and no water. I told her we wanted iced tea and water. She looked annoyed that she had not listened and gotten the wrong kind of tea for us. Like it was our fault. Eventually we got our drinks. We sat for about 20 mins. Waters and tea empty and no food. It wasn’t just us. There were people having to flag down staff for their checks, more water and wondering when food was coming. Finally he filled our water and tea. Then waited a bit more for food. I will say the food was good. One of the group felt their burger was dry and not that good but the turkey sandwich I had was good. We asked for our bill as soon as the food came since our time was now tighter than it should have been to make our flight. The check came out and it was wrong. We were double charged for a couple items. One of which was iced tea. Who charges $4 for a Lipton style iced tea? He fixed the double charges and gave us our corrected bill. We paid and left. If it had been super busy or there wasn’t much staff, I could understand some of the wait. But there were 4 servers and maybe 12 groups in the restaurant. I think you would be best served going to a better place downtown or just plan on paying more and waiting longer for good but not great food.

Party of 5 had lunch here. The menu was quite limited, and one desired menu item was not available. When we did get our food, Two people were not served what they ordered. Although some attempts were made to correct neither order was ever resolved. Staff was pleasant, but seemed in some disarray. Overall this place needs improvement.

Wow - went with the Eggs Benny at Woven and was not disappointed. Wolfed down the 1st egg before catching my breath and taking a pic. Thus the picture looks like a crime scene but a delicious crime it was! I normally steer clear of home fries but these were spiced perfectly and so some went missing. Great way to start the day and fuel a 20 min walk through McCormick Place for a conference. Not cheap - eggs benny and coffee were $25 but the taste was worth every penny!

We stopped here later on to get dessert before going up to the room. The split rating is mainly for food being near a 5 while service was near a 1. The host did keep wandering away while we were there so it did take a little to get seated. It took a little before anyone came over so we gave our orders right away. Even with that, it took 50 minutes to get our more routine desserts, eat (they were smaller bites), and leave. Overall, we got a water refill when the food came/delivered by someone else and once when they came by so we could ask for the bill. It then took another time of asking to get it. The desserts were really good and I'd recommend the cake and donuts, but given how slow everything was for us and the tables around us, we couldn't really recommend the place for a meal

This is a hotel restaurant that is very appealing and inviting. I had a very tasty salad for lunch and my wife had a burger without the bun since she is doing Keto. Her slice of tomato was the bottom slice that most throw away. The hotel was full and many we trying to eat and get back to the convention so the service was strained at best. Another downside is the pricey menu.

We went for my husbands birthday because we were staying at the Marriott. We were kind of expecting your typical run of the mill mediocre hotel restaurant after a long day of running around and were pleasantly surprised to have had one of the best meals we’ve ever had! The cocktails were perfect, but the food was above and beyond what we had expected. We had the wild mushroom pirogi as a starter, he had the duck and I had the dry aged strip steak, more cocktails, and then an incredible sweet potato pot de creme and cappuccino to finish it off. I would highly recommend any of it! The service was also really great. We’ll be back for sure.

The newly designed space is warm, modern, comfortable and refined. The bar area is huge but some of the seats are difficult for the servers to access and require a long reach. The menu is limited and appears to be loaded with pre-made things that can not be modified. The soup and sandwich I ordered was poorly construction, skimpy and bland. The smokey flavor of the soup is oddly artificial tasting. The place is crowded but clearly people are there for the proximity to McCormick and not the food quality.

Had lunch here twice in two weeks. Son and Family are a ten-minute walk away. The Chicken noodle soup lunch with a roll was excellent! Another day, when I was more hungry, the Italian half sandwich (the sandwich of the day) with tomato soup and fries was pretty good. I don't particularly like fries with pepper on them; McDonald's doesn't pepper its fries for a reason. The Grandkids had Chicken Fingers and Fries. Other than a few salads on the Lunch Menu, the Menu is pretty limited but reasonably priced. The Dinner Menu is also limited and over-priced. The atmosphere is not the best- you have high ceilings and glass walls giving you a view of the McCormick Place parking garage and offices. The service was good, but slow! There's a food court attached which may give you a better lunch - pizza, potatoes, etc. - if it is open! I'd walk North 15 minutes on Michigan Ave and find a better place.

A good restaurant with an extensive menu-try the avocado fries-this restaurant is open from very early morning to late evening-staff is friendly, well trained and very helpful-

Long waits for waitress. Very average food. You need to make a reservation for lunch when a big convention is at McCormick

Joined my group for a company-sponsored happy hour but was arbitrarily refused service. The appetizers looked quite un-appetizing anyway.

I shared breakfast with 2 associates at Woven & Bound. Service was a little slow and our server was less than outgoing but the food was very good and the space was very inviting.

We stopped in Woven and Bound in the Marriott Hotel near McCormick Place on our walk home from the Auto Show. What a great experience! Beautiful setting, amazing creative food, excellent wait staff and just an overall wonderful dining experience. The Napa Valley Rose wine on tap for $10/glass was great. They split the Caesar salad for us and it was the best my husband and I ever had and we have eat a lot of Caesar salads! I had the open-faced mushroom melt which was amazing. He had the short rib sandwich with caramelized onions which he is still talking about. Wonderful South Loop restaurant near enough to the loop and museums to make it worth your while to Lyft it there when visiting.

Had lunch here and it was delicious. Very good service. The burger was prepared correct and the meal was perfect. Nice to find a well run and delicious hotel restaurant.

I went with a friend for lunch in the midst of a convention occurring at the McCormick Convention Center while I was staying at the adjacent Marriott Marquis Hotel. The restaurant is on the lobby floor of the hotel. My friend and I both ordered their fried chicken sandwiches but were unaware about how very spicy that sandwich is -- when we indicated to the manager & waiter that we could not eat the sandwiches (neither she nor I can handle spicy food), there was no hesitation at all in offering to replace our orders with other choices; I applaud them for not only the act of replacing the orders but their most positive "no problem" attitude!

This bar in the Marriott marquis has a good wine selection. Good option for relaxing during or after a meeting at the convention center.

Great cocktails at our table before dinner. The bar has an extensive selection and we were able to order specific brands of our favorite vodkas. Our food arrived fairly quickly even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The Bacon wrapped dates and Roasted beet salad were delicious as was the Dry aged NY Strip Steak.

First time eating in Marriott Marquis Woven & Bound Restaurant. We shared the signature dishes -: avocado fries - really yummy along with the wild mushroom pierogis. The Vice District Burger was good. The house Cesar actually had white anchovies on it. Had a side of nice prepared salmon. Overall a nice meal.

Clean, comfortable modern restaurant serves all 3 meals. Good variety of attractive dishes. Fair wine list. Reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. Small bar in center, snack stand adjacent.

Had breakfast here before heading to Soldier Field. Service and food was very good! We also stopped at the bar the night before for an after dinner drink. Service again was great! I wish I could remember thr names of our server and bar tender!

. . . but this lovely, modern hotel across the street from the McCormick place where we were attending a week of meetings had exactly that. The breakfast was delicious. Later in the evening we would wind up at the bar for late night snacks and drinks (I confess, the cocktails were over-priced, but certainly delicious--2 weeks ago while working in San Francisco we had vodka gimlets at the wonderful Buena Vista Cafe by the wharf for 12 dollars. The price at the bar at the Woven and Bound for the very same drink? a whopping 38 dollars). That aside, the drinks, food, and service were grand. Also, a good thing for older folks like us, the noise level was tolerable. So the four of us--all over 65--had a terrific time.

With so many choices in Chicago, I still ate here three out of four days. The atmosphere is incredible and the service staff amazing. I’m so pleased with the soups and salads I had for dinner and the BLTTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, turkey, avocado) sandwich was amazing.

Great food and excellent service! Came here for a meeting and it was great. The food is certainly fresh and the service was top notch. The ambiance is nice as well. Get the “little Italy chicken sandwich” probably the best I’ve had in a long time.

I went for a Friday night dinner, as I arrived to the hotel around 8.30 pm. The bar area was busy, the rest of the place - seating area - was half full. I was promptly seated and the service was very good, attentive, friendly. The menu seamed limited, but do not hesitate to ask, they have some additional stuff such as fries, ice cream, etc. I got a side salad and pork chops. The main course was very good, nice presentation, good taste. I finished with an ice cream - ordered 2 scoops, got 3, I was told it was a mistake, the extra was on the house anyway. I also like their cup for espresso:-).

This is an unpretentious restaurant in a quiet setting within the Marriott Marquis hotel. The food is not priced as if it were a diner but the prices are acceptable. Most important the breakfast food was very good!

The restaurant was busy. Decor was modern. Service was good and the food arrived quite fast. The pork chop I ordered was delicious and tender, but enormous. I truly enjoyed it.

A sleek and modern facility, definitely "high energy" (aka LOUD), service was great. Our pre-dinner drinks (Negroni and a local Rye) were delicious. The hamburgers (W&B) were perfectly cooked, and again were delicious. The wines are expensive, but good selections. An excellent choice if you don't want to venture out from the hotel, and you won't be culinarily deprived if you stay...

I'll admit I was craving a burger and just ordered on the fly. To my surprise there was a mountain served on my plate. Two burger patties and a pork patty! It was really flavorful. Good cocktail menu. Try the copacabana! Super friendly staff as well!

Very disappointed, chicken tasted old, very salty. Burger didn’t taste good either but lots salt. Pork belly just taste of barbecue sauce, way overcooked, salty. Prices outrageously high 73$. Panera or Penstation or 5 guys are better

The food is excellent but so expensive that we only ate here once. It is inside the Hotel; convenience is the only reason to frequent this place. 2 cocktails (gin & tonics) cost us $23. The salad was delicious but when we finished that and a drink, it was almost the price of our hotel room.

Went here with some colleagues and a customer for dinner (we were staying at the Hyatt at McCormick Place down the street and walked here), we did make reservations (probably weren't necessary, but we did just in case). This restaurant is located inside the Marriott Marquis on the ground floor. We started off with the Midwest Charcuterie Selection as an appetizer ($16), it was a good variety of items. For my entrée, I had the Roasted Beet and Frisee Salad ($13) with salmon ($8) and it was very good. I would agree that prices are a little high, but you are eating within a hotel and it's Chicago area. Quality is very high for this restaurant and it was good food. It's a very modern and relaxed atmosphere. Some of the tables are surrounded by couches (we sat at one) which I thought was very comfortable after sitting in a conference all day on hard seats.

The dishes are good but the service is very long... Our server did not seem very professional because we had our starter at the same time as the hot dishes... One problem, very noisy restaurant.

Not many nearby places to eat if you are staying at the Marriott Marquis. If you don't want to walk to Chinatown (about 15-20 mins) then you will probably eat at Woven and Bound. Food is reasonable but you are paying hotel prices. Had the rabbit pasta. Taste was good, but slightly stringy.
Scrambled Eggs...
We did the breakfast buffet. The spread was adequate, and the fare was reasonable. I love scrambled eggs, and perfectly prepared ones are hard to find; most seem to be over-cooked. These were perfect and tied with the ones I had at the Boulevard 9 Hotel in Nadiad, Gujarat State, India.
