Great vibrant place

By Bestboy12 |

Went here on a Saturday night. The bar is in the basement of a historic home and it was packed. We had a bit of a wait but the staff and servers were friendly and made the time go quickly. I had a burger, my son and his partner both opted for vegetarian options that they loved. This is a unique place with super friendly folks. And for the most part moderately priced.

Cute hole in the wall

This is a great place for couples or groups. It has a very nice atmosphere, and the food is really good, too. The staff members are very welcoming and polite!

Beers, Organics, Great Service

By KalymnosSummer |

This is located in Little Five Points-- colorful and diverse but without the "grunge factor" that we usually think of for that area. Normally we would attend theater productions and then gravitate to Inman Park for food and drinks. Wrecking Bar hits the mark! We enjoyed perusing the extensive list of beers and discussing the draft of the day with our server. We chose to nosh on chargrilled octopus in a spicy remoulade (as good as the Greeks'!), heirloom tomato salad (tasty but disappointing as we were expecting fat, lush slices and this was cherry tomatoes), corn fritters (yummy the first time but probably would not order again), the cured meat board (all homemade and including venison sausage...surprisingly delicious), and a vegetable plate (a wonderful medley or local organic veggies tossed together in a large bowl). Our server was very attentive as were the numerous other assistants who passed by frequently to pick up empty dishes.

Family dinner after a show at the Fox theater

By 773jruth |

4 adults and 2 children dinner around 5 pm Sunday afternoon. The building was interesting, the staff was excellent and the beer drinkers were happy with their choices. The waitress was great, answering questions incuding those from the 5 and 8 year. She was attentive without being intrusive and happy to accomodate our requests. The appetizers were served hot and the sauces with the Wreck fries were very tasty. The white cheddar foundue was also a hit with the children and adults. Menu easily accomodated everyone's taste including the vegetarians. Good food great service at a very reasonable price. We will return

Not So Good

By swift98b |

We tried out this place with high expectations. Beer and food is always a good combination. At then end of the evening, the only positive thing I can say is that the fries were good. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, expecting a pastrami sandwich. I got a Ruben looking thing wherein the pastrami and other fixings were chopped and pan fried. My wife ordered the meat and three steak salad. The salad part was pretty good, but the meat was totally gristle laden and hard to both cut and chew. One of our friends ordered the shrimp sausage and didn't like it. What little of it there was on the plate. The other choice was Tongue and cheek which was OK but a minuscule portion. On the beer side, cute names but not very good beer. Odd flavors in the IPAs. I had the Kolsch which was OK. There were no lagers or pilsners. Our friends tried the flight and decided that there were only two they would ever consider ordering again. We might have just hit a bad night from the kitchen. The beer is a different story. Just because a place brews its own beer on the premises, doesn't mean it is good. Not a place to go back to.

Get Wrecked

By Teuton Flyboy |

All I can say after my dinner experience is that the environs of the Wrecking Bar seems out of place for the Atlanta area. The earthy ambience seems back woods. Perhaps the brainchild of John Denver, this eating establishment could be better described as something from Colorado. Still, the laidback style of the staff made it easy to get comfortable. The restaurant and bar are in the basement level of this converted brick mansion; whereas, the ground level is a banquet area for larger venues and events. The menu could be characterized as eclectic American, but the real attraction is the draft beer. The beers range the spectrum from a light kolsch to high gravity stout. One drink of particular interest is the 12.5% ABV "Hammer of the Gods." I would describe as the lovechild between a dessert ice wine and a heavy porter. Not everyone will enjoy, but for a beer taster, this is a definite must.

What a Treat!

By ShannonMark2003 |

I am new to the Atlanta area and I have very much enjoyed finding new and different places to eat with my family or out with just my husband. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly. We just came here for a beer and an app, but it was great. They own their own farm and the ingredients are curated with sustainability and the local area in mind. I love it here and will be back!

Pre-concert dinner and drinks

What a fantastic space. We sat in the bar area next to the stone walls! Great ambiance. The fest beer was delicious as were the appetizers and entree! The barrel aged Manhattan was fantastic. Get the corn pups!

Great Drinks, Great Food

Visited with friends recently and had a great time. The waitstaff was terrific. It's a cozy little place with good food and better drinks!

Great Evening Out!

By Bonnie |

Together with friend was enjoy a great Sunday evening at the Wrecking Bar. To begin with the food was just fabulous!!! The corn pups and charred octopus was super delicious as were the hamburger I had, pastrami sandwich, french fries and lamb sausage I sampled. They have a great bar menu too. For a Sunday we very much enjoyed the live entertainment. The jazz band was a perfect way to round out our evening. Our server - Suzie - was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. I'm definitely going back!

Funky and fun

By Roberta5261 |

Great beer selection! Lots of options for the beer lover. The decor is really interesting with largely architectural salvage gems displayed throughout. Good service. The food looked interesting but we didn’t try it.

Good Beer, Good Food

By MRM1655 |

We had a nice dinner at Wrecking Bar. I'd suggest reservations, as it was busy even on a Sunday evening. The tough decision was trying to decide on beers. Three different IPAs all got high marks from our crew. The food menu is relatively short, but we were happy with all of our choices. Nice pub atmosphere...

Popular upscale beer brewery

By melanie aleman |

For it's location in Little Five Points, this bar always feels more upscale that its neighbors. The food is delicious and the it has a wide selection of beers, in a great environment. It can get crowded though.

Extraordinary experience, fascinating place

By Kevin C |

For my 65th birthday celebration, my wife, my son and I went to Wrecking Bar, a place my son recommended highly. Everything turned out perfectly. Terrific service. The beer was outstanding, with a creative selection. And, the food was unforgettable. The place itself is far out of the ordinary. The dining area is the basement of a mansion that was restored by the owners. The basement renovation is something you have to see! I'd go there regularly if I lived in Atlanta, where my son lives. If you like first-class craft beer, delicious food and a special environment, I say Go!

My first trip to wrecking bar

A outstanding meal was had . Chef terry did a great board for us with a little octopus. Great drinks and food In a historic building I loved it and will be back for more #porkmafia inda house

Must visit place!

By Paul S |

We had a really good meal at wrecking bar. To be fair I would give 4.5 stars if allowed. Firstly, the cocktails and beer are both great. Get the Willett barrel aged barley wine if it’s still there it was fantastic. Cocktails were good. Great whiskey menu mostly fairly priced. The cheese board was delicious! The pate was incredible. The meats made in house were also both very good. They served two goat cheeses and a sheeps milk cheese. All were delicious. The pastrami and fries were excellent. The Korean spiced pickles were very good as well. The dish entitled fermentation was a welcome surprise to a great meal! The burger was also sensational. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back when I return to Atl!

Never fails

By RHL |

Great atmosphere, built in the basement of an amazing 19th century home in the Little Five Points area. The only thing that tops the place itself is the great and attentive staff, amazing craft cocktails and delicious farm-to-table gastropub fare. Great craft beer, made on the spot. It can be very busy at times so be prepared for that.

So many choices

By Nicolepb |

A brew pub with so many craft beer choices and available in small portions(4 ounces). A real sampler's delight. And then the menu with good options that are varied, satisfying all tastes and eating preferences and needs. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Great beer, decent food

By Barnesms |

Visited the Wrecking Bar Brewpub after seeing it on TV's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Interesting setting in what I assume is the basement of an old Little 5 neighborhood mansion. Quirky, functional, not that "comfortable", does not induce the desire to linger after eating. Service was OK, lots of people milling around, but felt a little ignored. Eventually got everything we wanted, definitely not "hovering" service. Beer selection is phenomenal, hey it's a brewpub. Drinks selection in general was very broad, lots of liquor choice too. Food was "local sourced" and fresh (as is everything today, right?), the food was good, a little mixed. Fritter appetizer was great. The pork, deep fried lollipops interesting, but not that great. Great fries. The pasta entree was very good, little pasta, lots of beans, great sauce. The trout was so so. Potatoes in skins, hey potatoes. The trout, well pepped. The side egg salad, you've got to love egg salad. The pastrami sandwich (as noted on triple D) good, a good size, not too big. A little too smoky on the meat. Their burger was "one of the best in town" per the person who ate it. Their chocolate ice cream was great. They had coffee but no espresso machine. But, plenty of beer. All told, four drinkers, 3 appetizers, four entrees, one desert $130 without tip.

Great place, food, beer and fun to walk around after

By Kristine C |

Staying downtown this was a short drive away. We found it with ease. The building is cool looking. It's a great pub and atmosphere. It was busy but we had not issue getting in with two adults and two children. The service was good and fun. They were helpful and quick (important with kids). I really enjoyed their beer menu. They were our of the one we wanted (a heavy stout), but no problem, there were others. The food is pretty standard pub fare. I had the burger, you know. Save some times for after to walk around the area. Near by is another good beer bar and some fun small shops.

The Wrecking Bar is Back

By Marti B |

There's a new chef and the food is amazing. The beer menu is still extensive with many seasonal brews and now the menu is back up to the standard set under Terry Koval. Old faves like the wreck fries, burger, and corn pups now share space with a delicious Summer Harvest Plate (vegetarian), Georgia Trout, and specials menu. In addition, there is still an assortment of craft cocktails making it a great spot for catching up with friends.

A hidden gem

By OmmaP |

Wandered in here when we couldn't find a parking place at Fox Brothers BBQ. Great Find!! They make their own beer and smoke their own meat. We enjoyed an IPA beer that was delicious. The highlight was the smoked pastrami sandwich on marble rye. Delicious. Pub feel with unexpected interesting architecture. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back.

Five isn't high enough!

By EdRigdon |

One of our very favorite places in Atlanta. The people are fantastic, glad to see you, eager to explain, happy to share the wonderful. They really believe in what they are doing. Tonight we tasted their deviled ham and pimiento cheese fritters--like hush puppies with filling. Wow! Crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside--really too good for safety. Entrees were great all around, from their grilled cheese with bacon sandwich to the pork loin (on greens, with butternut squash puree and a touch of preserves) to their "Tongue and Cheek" (beef cheek with a tongue preparation) to the current special, a dish with Alabama shrimp. Not exactly local, but OH MY. A spoon was requested to capture the broth. I can't imagine not having a good time there.

Great atmosphere set in a restored Georgian antebellum mansion. Staff were super attentive and the food was delicious and unique.

Culinary (and beer) highlight of our stay in Atlanta!

By sge31 |

After reading recommendations on here I put it on my list of places to visit during a recent work conference and I'm glad I did! It has a great atmosphere inside, exposed stone walls, dark wood fittings and a fabulous menu that makes your mouth water as soon as you start reading it! The steak was delicious, and the wreck-o-lantern pumpkin dubbel beer was astounding! They have new beers on tap all the time, many of them seasonal. I highly recommend taking the short trip here in a cab if you are staying in downtown Atlanta. The whole Little Five Points area is definitely worth checking out.

More than the typical brewpub

By Rob H |

We actually chose this restaurant as a place to grab a light comfort food meal and a few beers after arriving in town. We were blown away by the atmosphere and unique high quality menu (still comfort foods though)! Best reuben any of us had ever had. The octopus was excellent and the in house brews were really good. This is a nice place to meet friends and have a high quality night out over a few beers and good food.

Great Atmosphere and Drinks

This was an awesome experience. The bartenders are extremely professional mixologists. Good beer as well. I highly recommend this local place.

Rainy Day pleasure

It was pouring all day but we were not missing out on trying this place !! It was a pleasure !! Service was great and food was amazing !! The warm inviting decor creates a very cozy & warm ambience!!

A Complete Letdown!

By Lya C |

I tend to read reviews before checking a new place out. Usually I find that a majority rule is best. MOST people really liked this place, so I tried it out. I'm not impressed at all. The food was mediocre, the service staff was hardly ever present when you needed them, and overall experience was "just ok". The best and positive thing I can say is that it has a very good atmosphere.

Fun night, great food

By Mary L |

This pub has great history and atmosphere. Have been wanting to check it out for months and was not disappointed. Beer choices were great. Enjoyed a variety beer flight and the boiled peanuts. Tried a few things from the menu, was really wowed by the roasted barley entrée. So surprisingly flavorful. Tried the buttermilk pie and it was awesome.Service by Tim was impeccable. Many families were present the night we were there.

Cool atmosphere!

By VanillaAce |

The restaurant is located in the basement of an old building. It is like being in a speakeasy cellar. Service was attentive. Great pastrami sandwich. Menu is limited but dishes are plentiful for lunch.

Unique twist on food

By John V |

Christmas party with office staff. The charred octopus appetizer was soooo tender and flavorful. The butcher's meat and cheese plate was extremely tasty and complement the craft beer. The bratwurst dinner was delicious and filling. Definitely would be back for more.

Terribly slow service

By MatthewStone |

Took over an hour to get served a pastrami sandwich and chips. No apology. Really poor. Food was good when it arrived but was so annoyed by that point.

High-end, non-fussy pub

By dustythoughts |

We came across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat, and it ended up being a very fortuitous find. This place looks like a high-end pub but has a non-fussy vibe to it, so we had a thoroughly good time. We were immediately seated at a cozy table in a corner and greeted by a friendly waiter, and took time to decide what to order. Even though this place is mostly dedicated to drinks, their food is quite good. We shared the crispy cod sandwich and the mushroom risotto, and both were fantastic. The portions were pretty big as well. Prices are a bit high, but the food's worth it.

Fun atmosphere, interesting menu

By HLieberman |

A group of friends and I came for some snacks and drinks on a Saturday night. It was busy, but we were able to get a table within 15 minutes and enjoyed a drink at the bar while waiting. We enjoyed the Butcher's Meat and Cheese board, WB Mac-n-Cheese, and Elote Fritters. The meat and cheese board was okay, nothing too spectacular, but the mac and cheese and fritters were phenomenal! The Elote Fritters were packed with spicy and delicious corn, cheese, jalapeños, and ancho chili lime mayo. Would highly recommend them for a delicious appetizer.

Awesome food AND service

By youngerthanmyyears |

Best food I have had in the state of Georgia. And that's saying a LOT... I have been places in GA exclusively for food stops. At first I was wary of going so far out of where our conference was based, but the difficulty of getting there without a car? Totally worth it. The service was stellar and drinks were excellent, and the food... omg the food was fabulous! We had the pimento cheese, the roasted cauliflower, and I had the meat and three steak salad. Everything was delicious. (Bonus: I left something there and they were super about getting it back to me.) Next time I am in Atlanta, I am totally coming back. Oh and great atmosphere too! Five stars earned.

Interesting experience...

By Karenfan |

For our company Christmas party we had tickets to see a show at a small, local theater. The Wrecking Bar was in walking distance from the theater and we thought the menu online sounded like a good fit for us to have an early dinner (4:00 PM) and then get to the show in time. We made a reservation weeks in advance for a Christmas party of twelve. When we arrived a bit early, we still had to wait for them to finish setting our table even though the place was almost empty. When we were taken to our table, they had split us up into two smaller tables rather than putting two tables together. We asked if we could all be at one table and they obliged but we had to go wait at the "check in" area for them to make the change. We had already checked out the online menu so we pretty much knew what we wanted but we did inquire about the soup of the day and the daily salads available. Our server responded that she didn't know - that the chef usually didn't decide until 5:00 or after. She was able to tell us what the soup of the day had been the previous day though. SMH. We asked if she would ask the chef what those options might be and she came back with the response that he wasn't sure yet either. At this point, my question was, "If they are going to be open for dinner in the late afternoon, then why do they not have these decisions made so the early guests can have these options too?" When we began to order, one person in our party is a very picky eater and had decided on a burger - we were informed that they were out of meat from the big crowd on the day before so no burger was available. It appeared as if there was a huge disconnect between the online menu and the available options that afternoon, add to that the servers had an "I don't care" attitude toward our questions, and the overall experience wasn't what we had hoped. On the positive side, the food we did order was good - the corn dog app was very good and highly recommended. The "kit kat" dessert was very good too. They had no decaf coffee with dessert - which is pretty much a standard thing in a restaurant. Finally, later in the meal, there was a group of musicians playing live...words escape me to be able to describe what that was like. As we sat and listened to atonal music, none o f us could determine if it was supposed to be serious or comical. We left thinking it was just sad. Overall, the experience was a disappointment - however, the show was amazing - if you have the opportunity to see "Santaland Diaries", take it, just pick a better place for dinner before hand!

Food and beer are both fantastic

By Brady C |

This brewpub has a really cool atmosphere, great for a date night or evening with friends. The food is seriously excellent and both the beer and cocktails were also great. What's not to love?

Excellent cocktails and fun place to hang out

By tigg189074 |

The place is in the basement of an old mansion and is really nicely done. We stopped in just to grab a couple drinks on our way somewhere else. I ordered a great cocktail and my husband ordered some beer. The bartender was able to tell us a lot about what they make there and what was currently going on at the brewery. There were a few groups around and he was able to find the time to talk to all of us, offer suggestions and create a great place to hang out. Our intention was to go back, but unfortunately we ran out of time.

Successfully Creative

By Mike G |

We visited Wrecking Bar for dinner on 9/15/2017. The beer selection offerred interesting choices I'd not seen elsewhere with more than the now standard slew of IPA's most often encountered. The RendezMoo Coffee Vanilla Milk Stout was excellent. The Wreck Fries with a trio of sauces were the best fries I've ever had by a wide margin. I know...how can fries be that big of a deal? They were. For my entree I chose the Whole Hog Sausage - "Garlic & smoked paprika Kolbasz, eggplant, Riverview polenta, WB farm yolk, spicy tomato broth, smoked pork jowl, okra chips". This was one of the most creative meals I've ever had and was beyond excellent. It's on the spicy side, which is to my liking and they could offer the okra chips as an appetizer, imo. They have valet parking, which is actually a plus in this area, and there's a nice outdoor seating area that's dog-friendly. All-in-all, quite a fun and interesting place.

Neat little place

By traveling_fiber_guy |

Stopped in for lunch and I am glad that we did. It happened to be Sunday, so brunch was also on the menu. 2 of the guys that I was with had burgers. They said that they were excellent. The other guy had duck egg omelet. He said that it was also excellent. I had the brunch, which happened to be smoked salmon with a poached egg served on a grilled kale leaf (I think). It was wonderful. You might also want to try some of their home brewed beers. They were also wonderful. Unfortunately we were short on time, otherwise we would have sampled more of the beer.

Fantastic all around

By Natalie L |

I cannot say enough about the staff, food, ambiance and beverage options at Wrecking Bar. We were in town for a convention and were looking for a dinner spot for our group of 7 (with a wide range of tastes). We were able to make same day reservations. We were so impressed!! While some in our group were thrilled with the scotch selection, others had beer samplers (yum) or mixed drinks. The live music appealed to everyone in our group, and the band even let one of our people sit in for a song! Servers were friendly, fun, and checked in just the right amount. Food was delicious!

Delicious Meal

By Susan R |

We made our first visit to the Wrecking Bar and the food was delicious. Our Server, Leslie, was extremely nice and very helpful when we had any questions. I opted to get the cheeseburger and it was so juicy and cooked perfect. The fries are just like the ones you would make if you were cutting up your own potatoes. Yummy!!! My friend had the Pastrami sandwich which had a much fancier name and with delicious toppings on it. She said it was one of the best she has had in ages, and she does love Pastrami on Rye. I will be going back and trying other items as will she. I have also told other friends and family. I love the atmosphere of this Restaurant and they also have Valet Parking which is no cost, but it would be nice if you tipped the nice young man who parks your car. I do hope you will go soon and dine here. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Leslie. She is an excellent Server.

Unbelievable

By EmPee2014 |

We had to make fast preparations for out of town family gathering for a funeral. They were able to accommodate 28 people in separate brew room bar. These folks were wonderful as well as very understanding of our predicament. This is a first class operation with a real focus on helping to meet the needs of their patrons. They went far beyond my expectations. This is on top of great beer, wine and champagne. The food and service was excellent. I cannot thank the team enough! We loved you all!

Great Brew Pub

By Daniel G |

Some brew pubs have great beer, some have great beer, some have great service, some have a great atmosphere and some have great service. The Wrecking Bar has it all. The service was as attentive as any high end restaurant I have been to. No glass or plate set empty for more than a few seconds. It wasn't just the waiter or the bus person, anyone who walked by helped. The waiter was available every time we needed him and out of the way when we didn't. He also had an excellent knowledge of the beer and the food. Speaking of the food, it was an eclectic menu like I have never seen in any brew pub. It's in lower level of an old Victorian home, with exposed brick walls and columns. Overall, it was excellent dining and craft beer experience.

Spontaneous dinner

By McGunnL |

Stopped for an early dinner with my husband. He started with a charred octopus appetizer and I with the lobster bisque soup (Both were excellent). For main course I had the simple salad and my husband ordered the pickled shrimp salad (very good). I had a cocktail called in the park and I really liked ok I actually had two lol. Heading back to WBP this weekend with a few friends !!

Restaurant/Brewery run by passionate people for passionate people !

By Albin m |

This is where I had the best dinner in Atlanta. The food is great : excellent raw materials (meat and veggies from the farm), simplicity, taste and textures. It's a bit "risky" to propose tongue on the menu, but this turned out to be fabulous ! The beers are outstanding. I particularely liked the Victor IPA which has a true hopps flavour. Also, one of the best whisky/bourbon/rye selection I ever found !!! You're doing a great job. Keep going !

Good beer

By Staugreg |

Going to give it a top rating based on the beer and setting. Service was great as well. Now don't get me wrong the food was good, above average, but they really kinda went overboard on the hipster.

Unexpected English beer

By Jeff C |

When we walked into the front door of the wrecking bar which is an extremely nondescript entrance we were shocked at what was found beyond The bar is amazing, the beer selection is even more amazing, and the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. The bar is located in the five points which is a very up-and-coming neighborhood and it seems very safe(remember you’re in the city). Once in the bar it is stone walls a lot of woodwork and English style beer. If you are an English beer Fan do not miss this!!

Good Food and Brews

By GPBurdell67 |

We've been meaning to go to WBB for about a year and last Friday night we finally went. Good decision! We braved the insane Friday early evening traffic in the City and made it to the restaurant about 6:15. After the valet parkers took the car, we were ushered into the capacious basement of a large 100-year-old house. A combination of restaurant and bar seating areas holds a lot of folks and they were about half full. Our friendly and efficient server (Monroe!) came over and we ordered a pint of brewed on site oatmeal porter (nice) and a good cabernet sauvignon. From the menu we chose (1) the soup of the day -- white bean -- and a side of brussels sprouts/butternut squash hash, and (2) the fish sandwich with Belgian fries. All of the dishes were excellent, really tasty and ample. We were very satisfied with the prices. The only negative -- at the next table were a five-pack of Florida Gator fans in town for the SEC championship game. These middle-aged ladies were having a great time (good) but one of them had a laugh that was louder than a foghorn on a freighter (not good). But that's not the restaurant's fault.

Great craft beer and great food... what could be better

By Hutch2058 |

Came here for Father's Day since it was my choice. This is the first time I have ever been here. The parking lot is small but it was easy to find a spot on the street so don't let that deter you. The entrance is on the side into the basement. We walked in and were greeted by a smile and a beer menu on the wall. We got lucky and were seated right away since there were just 2 of us. We were given a regular menu and a 7th Anniversary Barrel Aged Beers menu. The regular beers are in 6 oz or 13 oz pours. The special beers are 4 oz or 8 oz. I thought this was great because I was able to try 4 different beers with my meal and not feel like I had overdone it. Flights are served but not always. I think they said it was because it was during their Anniversary. There is a beer here for anyone who enjoys craft beer. The menu has a good selection of starters, salads and sandwiches. There are 5 brunch menu items. I had the O. G. Burger and... O. G... it was good. Definitely look at the menu online. One warning, there was no chicken option on the menu the day I visited. I don't know if that was just that day or the norm. There are vegetarian options. I am looking forward to my next visit and I am definitely bring some friends along.

Late visit after the museum.

By Kathy Jo |

We had been to see the mirror exhibit at the High Museum, which was fabulous. We got here between 8 and 9 pm. Our server Megan was super. We started with sone 4 oz. beers, just in case we didn’t like them. We were all happy, I even tried a cherry sour that was delicious. We had octopus that was really amazing, the sauces were perfect. The beer boiled peanuts were fun, maybe needed more salt. The corn dogs were a huge hit, as were the brussel sprouts. The cave like setting is rugged but warm. There was an Irish band playing that was far enough away to not be annoying. They were really good. My brother had been telling us how great that it is, and he was right. I am excited about having a full dinner, the next time in Atlanta.

Train Wreck

Lovely atmosphere and terrific bar staff....but and a big but...probably some of the worst microbrewery beer I have ever had.

Changed my mind on Atlanta

By Keithcu |

I've had business travel several times to Atlanta and been disappointed by the nightlife. I poke fun at Atlanta as soulless and suburban. D-oh! Any city with the Wrecking Bar can't be all bad. Packed - jam packed - on a Thursday night at 8pm, Wrecking Bar does ambiance, food, and beverage as well as any restaurant. The Rockfish was sublime. The beers -- all made in house -- were creative and delicious. Oh, if there was more time... For once, I'm looking forward to my next trip to Atlanta. For. Sure.

Great food, service, atmosphere...

By somewhereingeorgia |

This was one of the best meals I've had in several months. I'm a foodie and chase all the new restaurant openings and anything that is on a 'best of' list. Somehow I had overlooked Wrecking Bar and I am so glad I gave it a try recently. I was with a group of 6 on a Tuesday. We arrived early and the place was packed. As I said, the food was excellent! The service was exceptional. We each tried a beer brewed in-house and I highly recommend you try any of their darker beers - even if you don't usually drink dark beer. I had the North Carolina Trout (with a side of Butternut & Brussels Sprouts). Crispy trout pan seared, Sapelo Island clams, cannellini bean stew, celery, escarole, WB Mexican chorizo. This dish was perfect for a cold Georgia evening. The interior is warm and cozy. For a group of 6 we were very comfortable in an oversized wood booth. They have valet parking as a bonus.

2 Thumbs Up!

By Gopie |

Visited this restaurant for a friend's relocation party, there is valet parking, great for beer lovers(brewery part of restaurant) awesome. Great knowledgeable staff, fresh yummy food, beer and cocktails. A must visit several times to try everything. Dessert that day was a buttermilk pie(see photo) scrumptious!!

Unique space, great food

By Rhonda G |

We were pleasantly surprised with the unique setting and the interesting menu. The first thing we ordered were the boiled peanuts. As NJ natives, none of us had ever had them and we thoroughly enjoyed them (realized we had been missing out). We shared the beer cheese soup, corn pups, pretzel fondue and octopus. Everything was interesting and unique and tasted delicious. I had the duck entrée which was done three ways and I loved them all. Served on a bed a creamy polenta. YUM! Fellow diners had the hamburger and the pork loin and were very pleased with their selections. The beer selections were outstanding. We were even offered a tour of the brewery. Great little place. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Surprisingly disappointed

By DawgExplorer |

I came with high hopes which could have been part of my downfall. The atmosphere was awesome. Big stone pillers in a dark basement. I felt like a group of drunken pirates would walk by at any moment. The menu didnt have too many options and most were even too food snobby for myself. I got the corn dogs which were great and better than any i have ever had. I was able to get the pastrami despite not being on the menu. The pastrami was juicy and full of flavor yet i still left unfulfilled.

Excellent food and drink in interesting venue

By Amy |

Absolutely excellent experience! The food was superb, the service attentive, beer and drink creative & tasty! The atmosphere is historic with a fun feel. The staff creates a cozy, hospitable space that encourages the foodie indulgence. We had the cheese fondue (excellent), simple salad (excellent), and ribeye (outstanding and unique, highly recommend). This was the perfect amount for 2 to split. Oh, and dessert...wrecking bar! Yum yum!! So glad we stumbled on this place and we'll be back when next visiting Atlanta!

Beer Bar in the basement

By Vtm R |

Nice beer bar in the basement. Rustic and open late on the weekend. Famous for their grilled octopus....for my taste a little to smoky. Very good home brewed beer. Food is average.

Good addition to L5P

By jay e |

Plenty of good cheap eats in L5P but not much creative cooking. This place is a step up. Nice ambience. Although pretty meat-centric there were a few veg options. The cheese plate was creative with breads, nuts, and preserves. The French fries were excellent (altho oversalted) with freshly prepared dips. We had a Witbier and an Altbier, both were very good.

Fantastic hidden gem

By symanthae |

My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite. The food was amazing and the beers we had were also very good. We shared the burger with sides of fries and macaroni and cheese. My husband had the Jemmy Dean Breakfast Stout and I had the Double Rainbros Raspberry Sherbet Ale. I’m not a beer drinker but was a fan of the Ale, my husband enjoyed his stout. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Great Meal

By Beejmcgillashaw |

Enjoyed our meal here. Went there for dinner on a Monday night. It was not busy. Our server was really nice and the food came out in good time. Started with the Kale ale cheese fondue , which I really liked. I saved the leftover for my fries (Highly recommend! !) I had the BBQ pork sandwich (awesome!) and my partner had the house pastrami (also awesome!) Finally make sure to try the pig ears!

Awesome Place

By exacta123 |

We found this by mistake, planned to go to Porter Beer Bar, but they were closed. Glad they were closed and we came here. We showed up a bit early but they were kind enough to give us a refreshing beer after a long scooter ride. We had a cheese plate and several beers. We want to go back sometime for dinner.

Great range of beers and ales

By MichaelCambridge53 |

This brew pub offers an extensive range of tasty and original home-brewed beers, as well as bottled beer, wines, and cocktails in a buzzy atmosphere. A range of foods--from snacks and fast food to well-prepared options--are also available. The place gets packed and people linger, so be sure to book if you are in a larger group.

Love This Place

By Jfa1963 |

Awesome Beer selection! Great food at a reasonable price, and this place has killer mojo and atmosphere. It gets busy so plan accordingly, but well worth the wait. We will return!!

Meet up with some Industry buddies!

By Mr. Oke |

Everything in this place was amazing! The food and beer was great and the bourbon selection was probably one of the best I've seen. Definitely a cool spot!

Truly Unique

By Mike McNary |

I've had several wonderful meals at the Wrecking Bar the menu is well prepared and always offers something different. Cocktails are superb. They also have a great event space upstairs from the restaurant.

Love the atmosphere, beer, and burger

By Nancy U |

We loved walking to this local pub from our airbnb place. They have a great selection of beers and the burger with fries was great! I loved the atmosphere of the bar and the staff was very friendly.

Just felt unwelcome

By AAdventurer |

I have to say that to feel unwelcome in a bar in Atlanta says alot. Thought staff were unfriendly and unhelpful ..just my opinion but wow ..in my view staff are a bit self centered Shocked actually. ..hope my opinion is wrong

Excellent

By tleeEvans |

Went here whole in town visiting our children. Service was great and loved the look of the restaurant as it is in the basement of an old home so it has a very cosy feel. Two ordered the hamburger which they said was very good, good size and came with a choice of sides. Two ordered the pastrami sandwich, agin good in size and very good. I ordered the trout which was on some cream seafood sauce. It was good, but the sauce was to liquid for me. I had wanted it to be more of a thicker consistency instead of soupy It came with a pimiento cheese biscuit which was excellent. My daughter had the chicken which she really liked as well. All ordered beer and raved how good each one was. This is a great place to come and eat and enjoy some craft beer. Never felt rushed to leave and sat and visited Parking is HORRIBLE. But this is the problem in that area. They do have free Valet parking , but their small lot fills up quickly and than you have to find a spot along the street. I would also recommend ordering their wrecking fries for an appetizer. They are very good and their homemade dipping sauces were very good

Great place to visit and enjoy

By Lynne S |

This was a great day! Received a tour of this beautiful building and had a wonderful meal. I would recommend to anyone. What a place for a wedding reception, or special event. Wish I lived closer!

Great beer and great service

By Nicole F |

The wrecking bar has great homemade beer and if you don’t like their homemade beer they also have interesting guest taps. The food is good, but I wish the menu was more expansive. If you are lucky, you’ll get Suzy as a waitress. She is fantastic! Go to the wrecking bar!

Great drinks, skimpy food

By Adrienne W |

The drinks are wonderful - the food is pathetic in size. The picture attacked is a $9 "salad". It's literally two beets and a peach. The waitress was kind enough to provide me with lettuce and a vinaigrette, so that was nice.

Great place

By Kayaktherogue |

I stopped here for brunch after church at Our Lady of Lourdes and was impressed. Had a smoked ham hock eggs Benedict and coffee was served in a French press both were excellent. Then moved onto the beer. Wow all I tried were great. They have a large selection of bourbon and whiskey too. I am looking forward to returning. You will not be disappointed coming here.

Third visit in a year

By Brad M |

Awesome for both food and service. Have been here multiple times over the last year. Including brunch for a large party.

Wrecking Bar Brewpub radiates "cool"

By Mike R |

Wrecking Bar Brewpub is set in an historic "mansion" with lots of exposed beams and brickwork visible. In addition to the various craft beers fashioned here, many other beverages are available in highly friendly surroundings. Food selections include house-cured and smoked pastrami ( whose wonderful flavor and texture were somewhat obscured by the cheese melted onto it ( gouda, I believe ). It wasn't hard to move the cheese off the meat. We were there about 2:00 PM and seats were immediately available ( apparently this is the only time of day when Wrecking bar is not packed with happy guests ). Our server seemed genuinely pleased to discuss the menu selections and also appeared proud to be employed by this unique establishment. Cool is as cool does and Wrecking Bar is cool.

Very nice restaurant/pub

By A. Townsend Peterson |

Went to this place to celebrate a special occasion for a friend. We were in the "cellar" space, which is a beautiful, granite-walled space. Very nice. The beer selection looked excellent, and the service was firstrate. Dinner was good, and at least interesting. I ordered the beef-shank tamale. It was intriguing, at least. The menu had the word "poblano" misspelled as "pablano," though that is common. The tamal consisted of an unfilled "tamal" of corn meal, which was pretty good. The beef shank was served as a stew spooned over the tamal, rather than stuffed into the tamal... a bit odd. The beans and such that accompanied the tamal were good. Overall, the portion size was not large, but the dish was at least creative.

Fantastic, unique craft beers....hit or miss food.

By DisneyTeacher |

After three visits.... Pros: - Wonderful atmosphere. It’s like an old-fashioned, English pub. Feels up scale but not pretentious. Very relaxed. - Excellent service. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. - The beers are incredible. The menu changes all the time as well, so you get a new experience if you wait a few months (or maybe even weeks) in between your visits. Cons: - The food seems to be hit or miss. The first time we went, everything we ate was incredible. The second time we went, it was just for drinks. The third time we went, everything my Husband & I ate was not very good. This is unusual because my Husband is probably the least picky eater on the planet, and he even thought the food was not good. I think if you stick with pub fare (such as corn dogs, burgers, fish & chips, etc), it will be fine. The “fancier” and more adventurous dishes I would steer clear of. Overall, I’d not be in a rush to go back for the food. I think this place is best for a really nice, relaxed drinking environment. It’s a great place to start a night out in Little Five Points!

Went for the brew, going back for the grub!

By Torijt1 |

My husband and I spontaneously decided to stop here one early evening just to enjoy a drink at the bar because we had always wanted to check it out, but we weren't hungry as we walked through the door, so we had no intentions of ordering off the food menu. Their variety of beers is outstanding! Hands down probably the best restaurant to go to to experience local Georgia brews. Out of sheer curiosity, I began to glance over the food menu the waitress had left with us. The exciting food items on their menu started to make my stomach rumble, and before I knew it we were ordering the charred octopus off the appetizer list. We couldn't help ourselves, everything on the menu looked so delicious, so we had to get something, and I'm so happy we did! The octopus was charred to perfection, delicious smokey flavor and no hint of that rubbery texture you can get if it's even slightly overcooked. Yes, the restaurant falls under the category of pub dining, but there's nothing standard or common in their food selection. Everything on their menu seems to be elevated to the next level. The service was also great, our waitress was truly knowledgeable about all the beers they had and even recommended some just based on our likes and dislikes or what to pair with possible food selections. The restaurant itself is unique in style, rustic kind of old tavern feel, with all the stone and wood work, just a great atmosphere all around. My husband and I were seated in the bar area which was sufficient for the two of us, but looking around the restaurant it did not look like the restaurant would easily accommodate a really large party. I could be very wrong about that, because I didn't exactly take a tour of the whole restaurant, that's just from my limited observation. So, if you do have a party greater than 10 you might want to call in advance just to be on the safe side. I could also see parking around the restaurant being an issue, unless you're willing to pay for valet parking, because surrounding the restaurant is a residential neighborhood and if you're lucky you might find a spot to parallel park on the street. Long story short my husband and I went for the brew, but we will most definitely be returning for the GRUB!

unexpectedly disappointed

By xxapmc |

i have been a fan of this place for awhile. liked consistently good food and beer. the last visit, just the other day, was disappointing. their cheek and tongue had very chewy tongue. the portions seem to have become smaller. and the worst part some of the beers were served warm, i mean room temperature warm...

Consistency

By tavsuz |

The Wrecking Bar has become a favorite. The chef uses interesting flavor combinations and I have not been disappointed yet. While you might be put off by the name of an entree please don't let that keep you from trying something. The food and service is always consistently very good. Excellent beer selection as well as wine and cocktails.

Great place, fun atmosphere and good food and drinks

By RajeshP |

Been there twice within a span of a month and had a great experience at thisplace. The food selection is very good .I loved the food here.Drinks selection is huge and I love the flight of beer samples.ou get to taste locally brewed beer My waitress during my second visit was very helpful and fun and she heloed me with some good selctions of the menu.Unfortunately I dont remember her name but she has tattoo artwork allover her body.Very impressive. The restaurant also has a valet parking. Will recommend this place for weekends hangout.

Wow. Just wow.

By Nickoval |

A welcoming place to a solo diner, with fabulous locally-sourced food, an astounding beer selection (which I did not try), inspired cocktails (which I did!) and truly warm and friendly service. Wow! And to top it off, the prices are extremely reasonable.

Stopped in for beers but captured by the menu as well!

By harleechik70 |

We went in for the beer only, but after perusing the menu we knew we had to order food. Ended up being my birthday dinner and that was A-OK with me. We started with the cod fritter, which is a must try! Delicious. For dinner we shared the filet of fish and a side of squash. Perfection! Pub feel but fabulous service which takes it a huge step beyond!

Great bar food

By Deborahhanna |

Had dinner on a Saturday evening. Was seating promptly. The service was good. I ordered the burger which was most likely the best I have ever had. The right seasoning and melted in my mouth. The in-house made root beer was a treat. We had these fried pimento cheese balls that were wonderful. Lots of creative food on menu. Will be back

Great neighborhood place

By IBenOliver |

Love bringing out of towers to our neighborhood brewery! The beer is, of course, phenomenal, and they are always brewing something new and creative as well as their stand-by Jimmy Stout! Food is great and many many healthy, farm to table options!

A Gastronomical Delight

By Anyalyn |

We mostly ordered small plates so as to get a good variety. It was difficult to decide what to order with so many sumptuous choices! They have taken the beauty of Southern cooking to new heights in their cuisine, with a conscientious dedication to sustainability.

Love the underground feel of the dinning room

By jsle |

The food here is pretty amazing, They do a lot of really good sides and meats. The beer is really on point with a lot of variety. It would be a good place to take an out of town friend or family. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking is pretty small. This is a really enjoyable facility and you will have a good meal and fun time.

Unique and Unbelievably Good Food

By Tracy G |

We really liked our Sunday brunch here. Everyone’s meal was unique and exceptionally good, as were the Bloody Mary’s, beer, and even the French Press coffee. Sitting out in the warm spring sun on the deck was pleasant, but the inside of the bar/restaurant is VERY unique, cozy, and cool. The service was good and very accommodating. We’ll definitely return when we’re in Atlanta again.

Excellent Local Pub with Spins on Classic Fare

By dMo924 |

We went to a local theatre show in 5 Points and stopped in at Wrecking Bar Brewpub afterwards. Pretty cool basement offering typical bar food, some fancier options, beers, fun drinks and some patio/terrace space. We started with the beer cheese with pretzels and veggies.. opted to get more veggies and still had leftover cheese (which a server reminded us tasted great with the fries...to which my partner concurs). The signature cocktails, fun-named beers, corn pups, burger, fries, and even side of zucchini and squash tasted good in a cool atmosphere.

Wonderful Food, Drinks, and Service

By RaqVentures |

Packed on a Saturday night, but there's fast turnover at the bar. Great beer and Bourbon variety and the menu is impressive. My friends and I snacked on grilled octopus (must try!) and the fondue. It's my second time eating/drinking here and I will definitely return!

Great atmosphere...and food.

By Dave2690 |

Interesting array of appetizers, liver, and brains. Entrees range from trusty burgers to more exotic octopus salad. We had a nice time.

Outstanding

By Matt D |

We stopped by on Sunday afternoon for a few drinks and a quick snack. We tried several beers, juice willis was our favorite and one of the best IPAs I've ever had. We also ordered peanuts and the pepperoni both of which were great. I'd definitely recommend and it will be a must stop on future Atlanta trips.

Amazing experience from start to finish

By AzCat225 |

Where to start with our experience with the amazing folks at Wrecking Bar? I could go on for pages but suffice it to say, they truly treated us like family. Our son and his fiancee had decided they didn't want to wait until spring to get married so we went from an engagement announcement on Thanksgiving Day to a courthouse marriage the day after Christmas. The two of them are both wonderfully low key and didn't want to 'be a bother' but my wife and I wanted to have a celebratory dinner. My wife had made numerous attempts to find a nice place with a private room with little to no interest from the other restaurants (ranging from no response to negativity---yes, we know it was short notice, but still...). Our son then mentioned Wrecking Bar. My wife called and someone actually answered the phone. We think but aren't positive it was Matt, the sous chef. He was warm, welcoming and we very quickly had the arrangements made. When we got there for our big evening, they had us in a back room that was awesome and they had also allowed our daughter-in-law's friends early access to decorate. Ben, our server, was awesome, accommodating, and always there at the right moment. The service was impeccably timed, with other servers helping Ben out, who were just as warm and welcoming as Ben. The apps were awesome (fries, corn pups and chicken sausage) and everyone loved their entrees. Special shout out for the charred octopus (son made it his entree) and for the butternut tagliatelle. Their selection of in-house brews was great. From top to bottom, Wrecking Bar went out of their way to help us celebrate and definitely eased our stress and made sure we had a beautiful, memorable evening. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! NOTE: The menu attached to the listing here at TA is not current. Go to their website for an accurate listing of what's on the menu and what's on tap.

It's good - go!

By AliCatD27 |

They offer many of their beers in a 4 or 8oz pour, so it's good if you want to try a few without drinking a lot. Beers I tried were pretty good. The wrecking burger was top notch. Oh yeah, their Mac and cheese was to die for too.

Awesome brew!

By Bsktcase |

This brewpub is in an old victorian style house (at least that's my description of it...) and while we just sat at the bar, it looks like it would be a neat place to actually sit at a table and eat! (We tend to be bar sitters, so if we can, we do!) The beers we tried were all excellent. Great balance and flavor. First up with the Jemmy Stout - excellent body and flavor - so much better than other stouts! I had a short glass of the Pumpkin Scottish Ale and it, too, was excellent. Light pumpkin flavor that didn't overpower the ale. My husband had the Barrel Aged ESB which was also good. For food, I had the chickpea sandwich. It was good, though I expected more of a falafel type chickpea rendition. For my side I had the house made kraut which was excellent! My husband had the pastrami sandwich, which I suspect is house made also. It was good - definitely not deli meat pastrami! He went with the fries and they were excellent. They also have a very good selection of whiskeys and bourbons and lots of mixed drinks to choose from. To the person who kind of complained about them running out of beer - to us, that just shows what good beer they have! That is what is so great about good craft brewers... if they run out, you just have to return again to try another great beer!

Great pub

By adaajoku |

The atmosphere was very good, the options for drinks limitless however the food menu wasn’t very extensive but good nonetheless

Travelling, date idea, or out with friends - this spot is for you

By Darius A |

Tucked right outside the heart of little 5 points, this gem of a brewpub should absolutely be on your list to stop by. Very rustic decor with incredible vibes and a great rotation of beer for all types of beer lovers. You'll find refreshing, well-crafted beer at an even better value. Wrecking bar bears an old-timey pub feel as good as any with good service to match. So versatile in its purpose, it could be a great date spot, stop through, or simply a good stop for the night while out with friends. Don't go to little 5 without giving this place the old college try.

Great brewpub eats

By RealBigDaddyDave |

Met family on a weeknight for adult beverages and supper. Hand cut fries were excellent. Ordered the pulled pork and chorizo burger topped with coleslaw - great taste and not greasy at all. Tried three brews, my fav being the Sosa. Crisp with a hearty finish. Will def go back.

Siri-endipity, or How I Found Gastropub Nirvana

By Wanderluster_10 |

Sorry for bad pun but everything else is great! While driving thru ATL recently Siri had steered me to a brewery that was having a private party but to my everlasting gratitude hostess recommended the Wrecking Bar. In the basement of what looks like a public library is an a quaint brewpub that serves "pub fare"; that sounds typical but believe me that both the craft beers (seasonal taps & classics) and food (perfect pastrami!) are exceptional. Barkeep Jeremy is happy to explain/discuss specifics for gurus who seek delicious and distinctive beers/ales, and the kitchen serves up food to match. Met some nice locals who can walk there, we should all be so lucky! Cheers.

Friendly Local Restaurant

By Robert S |

Wrecking Bar is located in an old mansion which makes it quite quaint inside. They offer a nice selection of food items and drinks. Our server Daniel was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were happy with our food and drinks. It was a fun location for dinner and we will definitely be back again.

Wrecking Bar Raises the Bar for Brewpubs

By OldSalt558 |

I travel to Atlanta for work and play fairly often and my go-to brewpub in Sandy Springs was closed Easter Sunday. I found the Wrecking Bar via Trip Advisor. After Easter services I visited for brunch and beer. I tend to rate beer related venues on the high side as a craft beer enthusiast. This is probably the best brewpub I've visited in my extensive experience. Excellent beer, great food, plenty of atmosphere, attentive and friendly service- the whole package. The Duck Egg Omelet was recommended by my bartender. Filled with duck sausage and garnishments, it was flavorful and fresh. The fingerling potatoes served with it were also good. They were out of my first choice IPA but the Dis Juice Pale Ale had plenty of hop flavor. The Hopback Mountain Imperial Rye India Black Ale may sound like it is having an identity crisis, but this is certainly not the case. Delicious full malty flavor with hops in the background and one of the best beers I've had in a brewpub. Highly recommended. I'll be back.

Interesting building

By SeatOfMyPntsTravelr |

The space is nice but I thought my Uber driver had a faulty GPS when we first pulled up. It's in the lower level of an affluent looking residential building. Great beer selections!

One of the best restaurants in Atlanta

By Michael W |

I live in Atlanta and have tried a lot of the restaurants here and am a major foodie. This place is an extremely cool environment and has fantastic food. Get the beer cheese appetizer! They also brew all of their own beers which are very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Dining out!

By Rich S |

What a great place! Took my GF there and she loved ot, was visiting my daughter and I love going there each time I visit, the food is great, service was great so was atmosphere!

1st Place

By Claude F |

This restaurant is housed in a renovated historical farmhouse. It is the best example we’ve discovered in our travels that employs both the fine casual approach to dining alongside the farm to table strategy in food preparation. We’ve visited more than 150 Triple D eateries in the last 6 years and this has been our very favorite. It is excellent on every level. It’s No.1 and comes with our highest recommendation. Happy trails

As a local, one of my favorite places, a real gem in L5P

By Julius M |

We live just down the street from the WB and go there at least a couple of times a month. I also had my 50th birthday there in the Marianna - the old house at the street level on on Moreland Avenue. The food is gastro-pub - you can not only get a delicious burger, but also also a locally cured meat and cheese board, or a beautifully prepared entree, Veggies grown at the restaurant's farm, with other foods sourced locally. Beers brewed on site come in a lot of styles and are always amazing. I love to watch the bar staff concoct their amazing cocktails. Enough said. If you're ambling around Little 5 Points, check it out. One of my faves.

Great atmosphere - Great Food

By Chris T |

Went here with a local foodie and really enjoyed the experience. We shared the chicken fried rabbit wings to start. They were delicious, coated with crunchy batter and served with a tasty blue cheese slaw mixture. After that, I had the pastrami and my nephew had the wrecking house burger. The pastrami was fantastic! Smokey and juicy with a host of flavors you need to experience for yourself to truly appreciate. My nephew really enjoyed his wrecking house burger and side of. At and cheese. All dishes are made from scratch and you can really notice the difference.

Incredible Beers... If they haven't sold out

By John P. L |

Overall, the restaurant is a bit pricey for the good selection, but the self-brewed beers are absolutely fantastic. The only problem is that they ran out of two different beers that i ordered while I was there. I'll definitely be back, though. A nice atmosphere, good food, and (potentially) great beers.

Great spot

By randallfamily8 |

A group of 6 of us were looking for a spot to eat late on a Thursday and we came here on a recommendation. I'm so glad we did! Everything was delicious! We just shared a bunch of different things off the menu, and there were no disappointments. The boiled peanuts were addictive, and the mini corn dogs are insanely good. I want to go back and try everything!! Great space, atmosphere, and service.

Accommodated Our Crazy Bunch!

By Connie K |

We had a party of 8 on a Saturday, and had two members requiring gluten free and lactose free meals, which is not always easy. Since they’re a farm to table restaurant they were able to accommodate our needs without a bat of an eye. I called ahead and they set a table aside for our large group. Their sommelier was really good! They are passionate about their craft beers and it showed. Everyone loved the food. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff!

Awesome atmosphere

By Thomas H |

Awesome visit, warm atmosphere, limited food menu and not your typical fare. Service was outstanding, value was okay, huge alcohol menu and the beer selection is amazing. Unique and was told to go because it was intimate and romantic. Didn't feel the romance.

Unique Food

By Tennille S |

The place is very unique. I live in Florida and drove 8 hours and it was actually worth it. Younger crowd but it was laid back. The food was great. We had pastrami and the other was shrimp sausage. Don't order the cheese and meat board if you want to eat your dinner. It's delicious but huge...lol The beer is outstanding. If you like stouts try the Jemmy. I would recommend this place if you want to try different items.

Well worth the struggle to find a parking spot

By StarNas |

Great service! Tasty food! Great beer selection! After a handful of visits, I can say that I've consistently had great service from the staff here, and have thoroughly enjoyed nearly every dish. It's becoming a favorite place to visit.

Neat place with good beer

By edvh81 |

Researched and found this place had a nice selection of beers. I am not a big IPA fan so I look for places that carry a variety of beer types. We stopped by on our way back to the hotel and were not disappointed. The place was crowded, had free valet parking and we were seated promptly. I tried the beer I had researched, a brown ale, but was intrigued by a horchata that sounded good. It was. So was the brown ale. We had a few appetizers which were served quick and hot. Too bad I was just visiting Atlanta or I would have a favorite place.

.u would rate it SIX stars if I could

By JoAnne C |

We met friends here on out first day in Atlanta. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Beer selection was admirable. Service was excellent. The decor rustic. Felt like we were sitting in a wine cellar of some huge mansion. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich with a side of sauerkraut. They smoke the Pastrami in-house and it was the best I've ever tasted. I was raving so much about my sandwich that my two companions tasted it. Then took another bite. By this time I was becoming territorial and told them to get their own! Will definitely come back to try other it's.s on the menu.

Really good

By Mike Richard |

Enjoyed our meal here. Went there for dinner on a Monday night. It was not busy. Our server was really nice and the food came out in good time. Started with the Kale ale cheese fondue , which I really liked. My partner had the house pastrami (also awesome!)

INTERSTELLAR EXPERIENCE!

By Ned K |

My wife and I were recently wandering around the eclectic Little Five Points area in Atlanta late on a hot & steamy Thursday afternoon. We were on vacation here for a few days visiting from California and staying in a rented condo in downtown Atlanta. I said to my wife that I could really do with a nice cold beer right now. I looked up Google Maps on my iPhone and next thing I see this place called the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. Gee the classy decor and cold beer photos sure looked inviting. We used the GPS on my iPhone to find the place eventually after walking for ages. We gasped when the huge white stately Victorian mansion on Moreland Ave appeared before us. After walking closer to the huge house we realized that the Wrecking Bar Brewpub was in the basement. How cool! It was about 5pm...not too early for a good cold beer so we ventured inside for a look. The place was beyond beautiful....timber & brick plus lovely and cool. I fronted up at the huge ornate bar and asked Kelsea behind the counter about fruity hazy IPA'S ..my current favorite type of beer. Kelsea suggested 2 on their beer menu and gave me a sample of both. One was called Horology IPA and the other one was named Galaxial Temples IPA.They both tasted really good! In the meantime my wife was checking their dinner menu and suggested we should eat here right now. We were shown to a table near a window overlooking the front patio and I ordered an Horology IPA immediately. As we sat there and looked around at the enchanting interior we both agreed this could be really good. A lovely man named Tim took our dinner order after we had taken a few minutes to digest their wonderful and diverse dinner menu. For starters we ordered Okra,Corn, Whipped Cotija and for mains my wife chose the Scallops while I picked the Gnocchi. My amazing ice cold Horology IPA was disappearing quickly and pretty soon I ordered a Galaxial Temples IPA. Both of these incredibly juicy hazy IPA'S would win awards anywhere on the planet. Very soon all of our dinner order arrived and as we do my wife and I shared our meals a tad. Everything tasted way better than our wildest expectations. After all we thought this place was just a brewpub not a Manhattan fine eatery. We devoured everything in front of us and we wanted more.....yep we wanted dessert. If their beer and meals were this good then their desserts could be totally decadent. My wife ordered The Wrecking Bar and I chose the Apple Galette. Before long Tim ferried my wife's dessert to our table. When I inquired as to the whereabouts of mine Tim said it was coming soon. Wow my freshly baked while I wait steaming Apple Galette appeared in front of me. My wife was going crazy about her Wrecking Bar and gave me a small taste.Mmmm Dark chocolate and Nutella....what a devastating combo! Not to be outdone my Apple Galette tasted sensational. We were utterly and completely satisfied! My wife and I thought that our dining experience here was simply the best...the beers, our amazing dinner, the service from all the staff and the chill laid back basement vibe. A couple of days ago we had a fabulous dinner at the Highlands Bar & Grill in Birmingham,AL. It had just won the James Beard Award for "Most Outstanding Restaurant in the USA" on it's 10th visit to the finals. We told the staff here that we thought our experience at the Wrecking Bar Brewpub was better! And we came back here for dinner 2 days later before we flew home.

Great late night place

By csb808 |

Service was excellent. We split a hamburger which was no problem. It was served with Sauer kraut which was a different kind of treat. Beer selection was extensive. Parking can be an issue. We were able to find a street spot but they do have valet.

Farm to Table Dining

By Connie K |

We've been to The Wrecking Bar twice, once for lunch and came back for dinner with friends. Beware, they don't take reservations and fill up quickly for dinner. They have an extensive whiskey and craft beer list. The menu is not your usual fried pub food, this is farm to table fair. The dishes we've had are the acorn squash salad, cheese plate, chicken liver pâté, pastrami sandwich, fish sandwich, burger, and pulled pork sandwich. They take simple dishes and add an unexpected ingredient that makes it unexpected and fabulous. Our waitress was incredible both times we've been here. I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant!!

Even Better Than Described!!

By sharon4665 |

Beyond all expectations, and they were high. A kitchy setting in a cellar! Spectacular service, attention to detail, and excellent food. The beer list is amazing, but wine and cocktails are also on the menu. The house-made pastrami is award winning and the selection of fresh vegetables is like Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. Salads, burgers, seafood, all are perfect. And an enticing kid's menu makes this a family friendly brewpub. Complimentary valet parking alleviates the concern of a small parking lot. Guy Fieri was right. This is a place to try in Atlanta.

Great beer selection

Neat little place in the basement, excellent beer selection and good eats to boot. Try the daily lunch specials.

Dinner before Foo Fighters

By Lynn C |

We stopped at Little Five Points for a late lunch/early dinner before seeing Foo Fighters. We were seated immediately and the server greeted us promptly and was very friendly. We ordered cocktails and appetizers first. The portions were ample and drinks were well prepared. Our entrees were burgers and one pork sandwich all served with hand cut fries. Burgers were cooked to our specifications and the fries were great. Laid back atmosphere, great food and friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

Mismanaged

By Tom H |

First time on a Friday evening. Two challenges: parking is horrendous. A little help from management on where to park would be useful. This could be overcome easily, but the second will keep us from coming back. The food was very tasty, there just wasn’t enough. In particular, the picture here of the pastrami sandwich was no where near what we received from the kitchen. The meat portion was about a third of what was expected. Also, the bacon and cheese sandwich was the same: tasty but the bread overpowered. Simple reason for these: mismanagement.

Good food and service!

By CaptTrouble |

Parking in this area is tricky, but The Wrecking Bar is worth it. A converted old home with a basement as a brew pub is pretty cool. I ordered the house Gimlet ($9). It was excellent! My husband had a pint of Jemmy Stout ($5.50). For food, we started with the Fondue ($11) with extra veggies ($1.50). I then transitioned to a Gin & Tonic to see how it was ($7.50). Very good. We split a Burger that we added bacon to ($12 + $1.50); the kitchen split it for us. It came with fries. The fondue was out of this world, the burger and fries were VERY good.

Excellent gastropub and craft brews

By jwoman9835 |

We loved this restaurant. They have vegetarian options and fresh fish in addition to the standard burgers. I was dying to eat the beet salad or the roasted cauliflower but decided on NC trout over cooked arugula, radishes and smoked pepitas. My husband loved the falafel burger. Tables were well distanced, wait staff wore masks. Plenty of outdoor or indoor eating options. The service was timely too. We tried Casa Bonita Mexican Lagee and Victor Rye Pale Ale. I will go back as soon as I can.

Misleading name

By Americana29 |

Think beam ceilings in a stone basement. Loads of stone and wood. Posh. It felt like I accidently crashed a wedding reception where no one knew anyone. But they had a gluten free beer section and I tried my first Glutenberg Pale Ale, which actually tasted like real beer. The place has a certain charm but wasn't the dive we were on the hunt for. The front is apparently a rentable venue. Go around to the back left side to enter.

Great food

By Barry H |

This is a hidden gem, worth the effort to find. The architecture is unique, you are in the basement of an old home, stone walls and great ambience. The food was delicious, had the Wrecking bar hamburger and the pastrami. Both were the best we have ever had. The buttermilk slaw is fantastic and the fries were well done (fantastic) which is hard to find in Atlanta.

Everything is awesome

By Jessi R |

Seriously, though. We passed Wrecking Bar on the way to Little Five Points planning to stop for a nibble and a sampler. We wound up trying every beer they offered and wanted to order every food item too. We contemplated waiting to eat until our way back so we could go again! The restaurant isn't huge, but it's charming as

Awesome!

We stopped in for drinks. The bar staff was great and the menu had lots of fun cocktails. We did not eat, but the menu looked very good. Great experience all around!

Saw it on Triple D

By HappaNAtl |

I first saw this restaurant featured on Triple D and have wanted to check it out forever. I finally got a chance to head here with my best friend, and I was taken by the rustic, and unique feel of the I interior as well. The food is just as unique and full of flavor. Everyone talked about the Corn Pups, and I have to say that they were great! We also tried the fries (which are enough to anyone up, as it is like two servings on a plate), so get ready to share them! I asked if they were out of any dishes (suggestion from the reviews I read) and our server looked a bit puzzled at first until I explained. He told me that they had the full menu available. I ordered the fish and grits (until he came back to the table and unfortunately, told me that they had just run out of grits!) bummer, so I was forced to order soothing else. It shows me that they make the food fresh and when they run out, they run out and no more portions for the day. Great food, great atmosphere, and worth the visit!

Delicious Food with a Great Atmosphere

By JMB |

Neat bar! I read about this place online and decided I’d try it. Figured I couldn’t go wrong with a burger and beer. i was right. The burger was one of the best I’ve had! Great service too

A fun family experience

By Karen P |

We stopped her on a Friday night (Dec 23rd) and thankfully we were able to find seating for 5 for dinner. We enjoyed our burgers but I thought I would be different and get the Pastrami. I sampled the burger but I think I was the winner of the night with the Pastrami. It was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend it.

Came for the beer, stayed for the food

By Rather_Nomadic |

I honestly came for a beer and then was going to eat dinner elsewhere but that changed. The great beers, friendly staff and amazing looking food made me stay for dinner. Their pastrami sandwich was easily one of the best I have ever tasted with tons of legit smoke flavor. All of their house brewed beers were above average. Friendly and attentive service. Not really kid friendly unless you sit outside on the small patio. Great place for food, drinks or both.

Busy, hip place for eclectic food and brew

By David B |

On a recent Friday evening it seemed we were lucky to get a table at all. But pleasant, efficient wait staff showed us a to corner bar table, just right for "date night". Unusual craft cocktails were available, and the joint was certainly jumping. I found the menu rather "fussy", with many offbeat choices, but little comfort food. Price level was moderately high, but commensurate with the location and the hype. I don't think the menu will draw me back for another visit, but for L5P hipsters and wannabes, this is will continue to be a popular venue.

Best Farm to Table Brew in Atlanta

By Marti B |

It started with great beer and the food is now among the best farm to table offerings in Atlanta. The addition of the Wrecking Barn, an organic farm that supplies the restaurant, ensures that the great food just keeps on coming.

New Found Friend

By Dr_PHIL98 |

Went to this restaurant. The beer was homebrew and really quite fabulous. Smooth, and sultry Oatmeal Porter. I had the grassfed beef hamburger and it was great. It really stands out as one of the best I have ever had. The fries with it were perfect. My son had the pulled pork and while a little dry for his taste, the overall impression was very good. The atmosphere downstairs is like a really cool cellar with long tables. There is also outdoor seating. The waitstaff were attentive and pleasant. A great experience all around!

Great food! Great Atmosphere!

By rapoza57 |

Went on a Friday night as a group of 7. Very busy bar and restaurant with an extensive craft beer menu. I was very impressed with the servers and bartenders knowledge of their beers. They were able to match beers with our preferences. The food was over the top delicious. From the staters through the entrees everyone was very impressed and satisfied. I had a grilled pastrami sandwich that was as good as anything I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend a visit when in the area.

Great brew pub, with many tasty options and nice atmosphere

By JohnDJTravel |

Great pub atmosphere, friendly service, and lots of very tasty craft brew options. Great IPAs and Porters and Stouts!

Superlative service in a fun brewpub

By Susan G |

I worked with Katie, the events planner, to host a special family dinner for 15 in the Cellar at the Wrecking Bar. Katie and friends set up the room to be half cocktail-party style and half sit-down dinner. We first mingled over drinks, then sat at 2 large round tables to enjoy wonderful dinners. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, patient, and able, and were willing to give us separate checks. The food was fantastic! Everyone loved the Wrecking Bar and praised the atmosphere and the food. Even though the main dining room was packed and incredibly noisy, b/c we had our own room, the noise was not bothersome. I strongly recommend this fun, lively spot for parties of all sorts.

Food was uneven, service was slow

By CaptTrouble |

My husband and I like to go here before a performance (music) to have dinner. This time service was noticeably slow. We were seated in the bar area at a table and we were very close to other patrons. As they were loud, it wasn't very comfortable. Our server must have been overloaded as she wasn't very attentive. We were seated and it took about 15 minutes for anyone to speak to us, and that was only after my husband went and spoke to the hostess. My cocktail was ok but a little bit sweet from what I expected, my husband's beer was reliable (I'm really not a beer drinker). It took quite awhile to get our entrees once we ordered. My husband had short ribs which looked and were delicious. I had brisket on grits; it was unattractive and very rubbery. I was surprised as everything we had gotten at this restaurant in the past has been good. This was a major clunker. (I have cooked brisket many times and have never had it turn out like this.)

Great place!

By Kevin B |

We came here a few years back for dinner with some close friends and we really enjoyed our meal. We had a pretzel with beer cheese and it was delicious very filling. The cornbread was excellent and my burger was juicy and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and we all really enjoyed our brews as well. We hope we can come back to Atlanta soon and we would definitely come back here!

Cool place great service

By TASunde |

Really a neat food menu especially for foodies. Best char grilled octopus I've had in some time. The shrimp sausage was also very interesting. And the beer menu was fabulous with a mixed palette of flavor profiles. Our server was outstanding making the whole experience wonderful.

Great beer, great food!

By 596freyah |

This brewpub has become the premier brewpub in Atlanta. One visit and you will see why. Their beers are great, and they keep rotating so there is always something new to try. Food is excellent, if not gourmet, and they have several vegetarian options. You can get half-pours of beers so you can enjoy several without getting pickled. Worth finding - and best of all, they are walking distance from MARTA rail.

Best Beer, Burger, & Fries in Atlanta

By Dennis B |

The location is in the cellar of an old Victorian house. It is hard to find yet they do have parking. The craft beer choices are excellent. They don’t overdo the IPA and fruity ones. A few IPA and some really good Pilsner and Vienna Lager choices. The burger was terrific with their own special sauce. The Fries are crispy and they offer purchase of three dipping sauces which are excellent. Service was friendly. We ate inside and they do offer some outside seating. A great choice!

Fun beer and food near Inman Park

By MemphisZ |

The staff at the Wrecking Bar are wonderful. The beers are fresh and fantastic. The Porters are especially good. I love the southern food --- the boiled peanuts were a treat at the bar while we waited for our table. The dinner was good. We will be back on a another trip to Atlanta.

Cool atmosphere, decent food

By TallyWriter |

Kind of a basement pub with exposed stone. The food is good usually. We've eaten there on several visits to Atlanta. I didn't like the whole snapper because it wasn't fileted and it is difficult to filet fish at the table. Other than that, everyone has liked their meals.

Amazing! Must Visit

By Troy0403 |

Atmosphere is fantastic. Underground brick/stone building. Warm atmosphere with friendly staff and friendly locals. I asked for a food recommendation and 3 of the locals at the end of the bar all said I have to get the Pastrami. Bar tender also recommended the Octopus appetizer. Of course I had both. Both were easily the best I have ever had. The flavor and texture of the Octopus was fantastic, grilled to a crispy exterior. The pastrami was just amazing, technically it was not a rueben, but had a similar feel only 5000 times better. I will figure out a way to get back there.

Fantastic food and beer looked great

By Krista F |

Ordered the pastrami sandwich and it was really great. The harissa carrots were eh. Their beer selection looked amazing. They brew them all on site. I couldn’t partake for medical reasons, but it looked legit.

Interesting

By .kgrove1 |

Trip advisor has the Sunday hrs as opening at 11:00 am. They actually open at 12:00 and cannot serve alcohol until 12:30. The menu is decent. But prices are high. Burger was great. Pastrami hash was as well. The steak and salad trio for $16 was not worth the price and the portion is small. The atmosphere was unique and the story of the house is very interesting. Service was fine. Beer selection was amazing. Wine super expensive.

Very cool place.

By Yvon P |

Very cool place to visit. Great microbrewery was only here on a liquid diet. Would highly recommend it

First time back in a long time.

By rjmaisano |

We don't live in Atlanta. So haven't been to the Wrecking bar in several years. It used to have good food and great beer. Now it has great food and and great beer. We were having trouble deciding what to eat. The beer menu sounded great but we were having trouble deciding what food to pare with the beer. Our waitress was so helpful. She chose three beers to go with our meals and all three were great. She served them in four ounce classes which was great. Then we were able to have a very nice chocolate stock after dinner which was perfect. Thank you so much.

Cool friendly delicious

By johntphipps |

This place has a hip location and a fun atmosphere. Parking can be iffy. Be prepared to do some jay walking. Micro brewery on site and a huge drink menu. I don't know much about whiskey, but it seemed like they had a good variety. We went for dinner early and didn't need to wait for a table. They graciously seated us before our entire group was there, unlike many chains. Read the menu thoroughly. It is full of interesting, combinations and choices. Everything on the menu ranged from very local to somewhat local ingredients. I had the kale sausage and it was wonderful (it wasn't all kale, mostly pork and herbs). Everyone shared, and I can't remember everything I tasted, but it was all top notch and each dish unique. Even the fries were great. Atlanta is full of great eateries. This is one of them. I'm lucky to have a daughter who lives there to help find gems like this.

Amazing

By William F |

The most exciting place to be for dinner would go again. Great servers, the food was amazing a place to to have lots of different food.

GREAT SERVICE

By Chip C |

Our server was EXCELLENT. Didn't interrupt often but he kept beverage glasses full, made sure we were taken care of. It's been quite awhile since I'd had service that good. (I forgot his name and his shirt had someone else's name on it. He's about 5'7", thin, with glasses. Tell him I said hello lol). Seriously, I would point him out and ask to get him for a server. He was that good. I LOVED the pastrami sandwich. I was actually craving another one the next day for lunch. Cool place to go, but aside from the pastrami, the rest of the food was just "okay bar food". I would go back for that pastrami sandwich though.

Rehearsal dinner in the Biergarten

By victor1955 |

This is a special place to the bride and groom and we had a wonderful evening with family and friends in the Biergarten. It was a warm evening but everyone had a great time. The beer was great and the food was awesome! Isabella was great to work with and the buffet menu had so many options. The slow smoked brisket and roasted chicken wowed everyone. The salads and vegetables were so fresh. A very memorable evening.

Incredible!!

By Frustrated |

My family and I stopped here and the food and atmosphere were just tops. But, the most incredible thing was that I left my purse by mistake, and the hostess and wait crew RAN out to find me! I couldn’t believe that, in today’s day and age, this group was so motivated as to not ruin my night and returned my item. Kudos to this place, all around, and many thanks to the Hostess and Wait Staff, you were wonderful!

A great last meal in Atlanta

By hmill42894 |

We came here for Mother's Day Dinner right before going to the airport. The atmosphere is amazing; the building is gorgeous and it's very warm, cozy, and inviting. They also had live music, and we sat right near it, but it wasn't too loud. Our waitress was very nice, and made sure that we understood the beers and the menu. I ended up getting a chicken dish, and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was the perfect portion. Everyone I was with loved their meals too! Definitely would come back to taste more beers and have some more good food. No complaints at all!

Good Beer and Good Food

By jwalters310 |

Went here to check out their beers and have dinner during our trip to Atlanta. Walking into the place I was a little worried when they asked for a name and the restaurant was half empty, but then they said follow me and took us to our table. Upon being seated we were very quickly greeted by our server who was very knowledgeable about the beers and the different foods on the menu. She offered up suggestions on the food and gave great detail on the beers we asked her about. The one thing she recommended strongly was the chicken and dumplings. If you go and they have this dish, make sure to get it. 2 others at the table got it and I did not, but it was by far the best thing we ordered that night. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich and got mac n cheese instead of fries, The waitress said this is one of the main items that never leaves the menu. The pastrami itself tasted very good, but in the sandwich it just wasn't for me. The mac n cheese I thought was ok, but others at the table thought it was great. The other thing ordered at our table was the grilled cheese sandwich with ham, which was just a grilled cheese sandwich, but hey what do you expect when you order a grilled cheese sandwich. As for the beers, they do offer a flight of 6-4oz. pre-selected beers for $10. And if you like barrel aged beers this is a good place to go. I managed to try all the barrel aged ones they had and was not disappointed by any of them. The only beer that I tried that I didn't care for was their Octoberfest beer, which was disappointing because those are usually my favorites. All in all this was a great place to go for dinner and have a drink. Service was excellent and we never had an empty glass. If you're in the area, you have to check this one out.

Awesome beer, fab food, solid wine

By LisaAS6427PG |

Great ambience for a great dinner! Great beer selection of course... limited but well curated wines by the glass... more robust bottle list. The gusto menu is awesome! Scallops, squash salad, all amazing!

Really good brews and good food

By Barbara F |

We found this place on a list of brew pubs. The only down side was actually finding it as the signage isn't great and it is set behind a catering place. However, once there, we enjoyed ourselves. It was early afternoon, mid-week, and there were only a few other folks here. They have lots of outdoor setting if the weather permits. The beer was great as was the service. Food was tasty and portions were huge. Would definitely return next time we are in town

Snacks and Dranks

By Brattybritt92 |

The fondue with pretzel and apple slices was SO GOOD. Plenty of warm melty cheese. I didn’t have to ration it. I covered everything!! Mac and cheese was great too. Boyfriend enjoyed Corn Pups. Appreciated that straws did not automatically come with waters. Thank you for saving the planet!! Atmosphere was very cool. Like a castle.

Very Nice Staff, Food Not as Expected

By Greta |

Wrecking Bar Brewpub is well regarded and highly praised for integration of their farm-fresh products. I have eaten at several of the farm dinners and consider those 1st Class! This is first time I have eaten at the Pub--not so first class so I was disappointed. The hostess and wait staff are as friendly an well mannered as they come. But our meals were not as tasty as could have been. According to the menu, the fries are supposed to be out-of-this-world. Fries were just fries and very salty. The house-cured brisket sandwich felt greasy and again, way too salty. The scallops with peas--well, let's just say the scallops must have been bay scallops (small), were cut in half and scattered on top of the peas like popcorn. Just not a lot of popcorn--if put together maybe 1/2 cup of scallops. The peas were tasty and without them there was no meal. The draft beer was the best thing in the house. I most likely will not return because I want to have to good memories of what I think of as Wrecking Bar food, and that is how delicious it is on the farm.

Best place brewpub in Atlanta

By Jacob Harris |

I live in Atlanta and the wrecking bar brewpub is my favorite place to get an amazing beer and amazing food. The wrecking bar not only brews their own beers, ranging from Gose to Stouts, but they also grow their own food on their own farm. You can truly taste the love in each dish they serve. The service is unbeatable because everyone knows what they are talking about and make great recommendations. I recommend their charred calamari and a flight of their home grown beer. You can't go wrong with this place.
