We visit this restaurant at least once every trip to Philadelphia and the owner now greets us by name. The food is excellent, the wine pour good sized, the staff friendly, and the service is very good. I have not had better Thai food anywhere. Favorites are: Tom Yum Soup - Shrimp, mushroom, onion, tomato, cilantro and spicy lemongrass with kaffir lime broth and scallion and cilantro on top. Asian Taco - Thai roti pancake filled with BBQ duck or monkfish, Xiandu Chicken - Crispy white meat chicken with broccoli, bell pepper and sweet chili sauce, and the Dream Bomba for dessert.

A great meal, and a very unique twist on Thai. Serving staff were very pleasant and their cocktail specials were a treat. They also validate parking.

This little fusion Thai shop has been here three years, but I just found it tonight. What a gem! I sat at the bar and listened to the history of this restaurant and then asked for recommendations. I had the Drunken Noodles and they were incredible! The price is fantastic, atmosphere is casual... definitely recommend!

we dropped in between college visits. the price was great and the food nourishing. we sat in the doorway which was quite nice for people and construction watching. service was fine.

My wife and I have traveled regularly to Center City Philadelphia during the past several months and we always have lunch or dinner at Xiandu when we are in town. Most recently, we had lunch there and, as usual, it was excellent: delicious food, beautifully presented with great service in a lovely setting. What more can you ask for? BTW, if you have room for a sweet at the end of your meal, I urge you to try the "Dream Bomba." This dessert is an awesome piece of pure deliciousness and is worth every calorie: imagine a ball of peanut butter gellato, with a caramel center, covered in a hard chocolate shell. Absolutely spectacular! I am a big fan of Xiandu and I recommend this restaurant to my fellow TA readers and contributors without hesitation or reservation of any kind. If you are in the mood for Thai fusion/Asian cuisine, by all means give this wonderful family owned restaurant a try!

I had never been here before but will definitely be back! The service was great and friendly. The food was wonderful. We had the calamari and sexy finger appetizers, which were both yummy. The calamari was perfect and the dipping sauce delicious! I had pad Thai and my friend had the seafood lover for dinner. Portions were big, I could not finish mine. We also had caramel apple martinis which were large and also good and strong! I highly recommend this place for dinner and can't wait to go back.

Xiandu is our go-to restaurant when we want to have the most delicious, affordable Thai food in Philly in a super sexy, modern, clean setting. The Happy Hour offering is outrageous with many great offerings both for food and drink. The bartender Peter, is the coolest dude ever- super knowledgeable and fun to talk to while he made drinks for the guests. The two sisters who own this restaurant are always on site, watching that everything is in line with service and the food. My personal favorite is the option to choose your meat or vegetable and then they have about 4 or 5 different sauce preparations that you can mix and match. I love the garlic wine sauce that goes well with chicken or beef (and would with anything for that matter), and my husband loves the curries. I also love the Asian tacos with duck, their summer spring rolls, the tofu baker, the delicious hefty wings and the thai chicken lettuce wrap. Basically, everything on this menu is absolutely delicious. I love the wait staff as well who are always pleasant and buzzing around to quickly deliver your food. I have never had a bad experience here and recommend it highly. It is our neighborhood gem, and one that should be visited as often as possible. Love them all, bravo to Nancy and Bonnie for making Xiandu such a success. Here's to another amazing year in 2019!

I was in town and staying near City Hall so I looked for a place to bring food back to my hotel. I chose the Chicken Lettuce Wraps and also the steamed vegetables in peanut sauce. They were both tasty. While I didn't eat at the restaurant, it looked nice when I picked up my food (they also have delivery).

Xiandu is a lovely restaurant inside. There is a lower level and bar and an upper dining area a few steps up. It is minimalist, but it is comfortable and, the décor is appealing. I was there for lunch and had the Thai Lemongrass Shrimp on the lunch special menu. There was a choice of salad or soup, and I had the salad of greens, tomato slice, cucumber and ginger mustard dressing. The main dish was just spicy enough and had six shrimp, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, some zucchini strips, and a few cauliflower florets in a very light sauce that there was just enough of for the delicious jasmine rice. A small pot of green jasmine tea finished off the meal. Looking forward to the next lunch or dinner there to try more of the menu.

I was intrigued by the Split Pea soup. I asked if it's consistency was thick (like Jewish split pea) and was told somewhat. My first spoonful confirmed it wasn't. More disappointedly it was bland. The next dish was pineapple fried rice that was quite tasty, but was deficient in pineapple flavor. Lastly were the pork spare ribs that were quite tender & flavorful. We won't return because there are too many better Asian restaurants in Phila.

We found this place online and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised by what an amazing experience we had. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was friendly, welcoming, attentive. I would highly recommend this place.

The place was clean and we got our food pretty fast. The food was a good temperature and the tasted really good. If you have a hotel make sure u have access to a microwave because the portion size is pretty good. The service was also good and my drink was always filled.

Visited recently and the food was really good (had chicken pad Thai). The ambiance is also really nice and modern. But what amazed me the most is the professionalism and attention to detail of the staff! There was prompt service and the staff made sure that we always had topped off drinks. Great experience overall.

Quality food taste and appropriate portions for entrée. First time there but was really one of the nicest food in Thai cuisines. Loved it! Thanks for great food and service yesterday. Very good veggies options also. Decent in taste!! Go Philadelphia go xiandu.

It may have been the fact that it was a Sunday night however the service from when we sat down was slow and sloppy. The young lady that was meant to be serving us seemed far more interested to talk to her colleagues at the bar and was really sullen. That said the food was surprisingly good and fresh albeit not quite as flavorful as could have been. The chicken satay for example had a very well prepared grilled chicken but a very bland and miniscule satay sauce. The Massaman curry was lacking in vegetables and had an excess of tofu. It also came out without the roasted peanuts which give it its flavor.

Great Thai restaurant in Center City Philadelphia. Great ambience and friendly staff with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. We had vegetarian Tom Yum salad (papaya salad) and Thai green curry (tofu) which comes with rice. The mango martini and the Jolly Rancher (ginger and turmeric infused fruity cocktail) were refreshing. Definitely a nice place to visit!

I had the mango grouper special. It was delicious. My husband had curry- also excellent. Highly recommend- outstanding service. Nice atmosphere.

The food was delicious and the service was very good. We visited before our show at the Walnut Street Theater and was able to get a discount Will definitely be back!

Located two and a half blocks from the Walnut Street Theatre is a perfect location for us to visit after a matinee. The Yellow Curry and the Masaman Curry were very good and the Samosa made with filo pastry was unusual and very tasty. The venue was upscale and cozy and the service was warm and friendly.

Met up with the girls for a cocktail or two and a quick bite before a show; this was my first time here and I and my friends really liked it. The front glass gets pushed entirely back so you have the feel of dining al fresco w/o feeling like you're part of the street traffic. The cocktail list is devine and the bartender is eager to please. A few of us chose from the happy hour menu which offered quite a few nice selections and everyone loved their choices. We'll be meeting here again before a few more theatre events and I'm looking forward to getting further into menu options of their fresh and flavorful apps & meals.

New restaurant in the area is definitely worth going to. The food is wonderfully seasoned and good size portions. The menu has a great variety of items that can be toned down in spice level making all of them acceptable to even the most sensitive of palates. The meats were all tender and everything was delicious.

Went for dinner not really sure what I wanted. The server was very knowledgeable and very helpful offering suggestions as to what I should order. Other people rave about the barbecue wings so I ordered them. I was a bit disappointed due to the f as CT that they were just grilled wings with barbecue sauce on the side. Delicious bowl of soup. Would return again.

I called this restaurant tonight to check out what their vegan options would be. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The vegan options were limited - yellow curry and some noodle or rice dishes. She said that all of the curries have fish sauce, except the yellow. I mentioned that I had been to many Thai restaurants where you can order curries without fish sauce, but she said their sauces are already mixed and presumably there is no flexibility. I would like to have more vegan options, but this was not the main issue. I asked about the drunken noodles, because that is a family favorite. She said it was vegetarian, but not vegan, because it contains oyster sauce. I pointed out that oysters are not vegetarian, but she said that many vegetarians eat fish. I said that many vegetarians would be unhappy to learn that a dish described as vegetarian contains oysters. This did not seem to have any impact, as if those vegetarians who object to seafood in their dish were the outliers. (I do understand that she has no control over the menu, but restaurants should understand the definitions.) If you are vegetarian, be sure to ask specifically about fish sauce, oyster sauce and other possible non-veg ingredients that may be in purportedly vegetarian dishes.

The service was great, the server knew the menu really well and suggested awesome appetizers. The main dish was good, but the appetizers were our favorite part of the meal. Nice place for a date night, good food, affordable drinks and great service.

First time visiting this amazing Thai restaurant in City Center. Service was amazing. Our waiter was so authentic and described all the dishes. The food is delicious and had a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes with a twist. Very good and fresh ingredients. For example you don't see too much lotus root in Thai food. Mango salad was great as was the main course. Definitely worth the visit.

Stopped in for dinner an early dinner on a weeknight. The staff were attentive and helpful. Wine, appetizers and entrees were all nicely done and were quite tasty. Would definitely go back.

I stopped in for early dinner. The dining room is lovely and clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I started with the excellent Thai iced tea which is flavorful and cold on a hot day. I had the duck filled taco as a starter, which was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. I went with drunken noodles, a wonderful presentation, with good size portion. I want to come back to this place and I highly recommend it

Got the recommendations for this restaurant from Yelp when they featured it under the best Thai category. Compared to their competition it is very good. We had duck tacos and each had a duck dish. We like duck! Everything was quite good. The duck though was a tad over cooked and they were skimpy with the sauce -- but they gave us more when we asked. The red curry was not soupy and had both substance and lots of flavor. Vegetables were crispy and fresh. Service with Brian was a pure joy. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

I was starved and just didn't feel like going out. They delivered =within 40 minutes as they promised. I would call the food good but not delicious- but it was order out- so I have to take that into account. The steamed dumpling were good but not great- I was slightly disappointed, The spring rolls were very good-but not as good as I've had. The Pad Thai was good and there were a lot of shrimps in it- I think I liked this dish the best- I also had the Mango sticky rice for desert which was an odd dish- nice Mango but a big glob of rice next to it- I would skip that. Nonetheless, I got my Thai food fix and for a late night order in , it hit the spot

My wife and I had lunch at Xiandu Restaurant in early November of 2018 and we enjoyed the experience very much. The staff is friendly and welcomed us warmly. The restaurant is attractively decorated and scrupulously clean. The menu -- basically Thai dishes and Thai fusion dishes -- is interesting and relatively extensive. I tried the Chicken Xiandu and my wife could not resist the Pad Thai. Both dishes were not only delicious, but beautifully prepared and presented. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. All in all were enjoyed an excellent meal and the fare was quite reasonable: about $30 for the two of us, including a generous tip. We tend to favor Thai restaurants and regularly visit several different ones throughout the east Coast. Xiandu ranks right up with our favorites and we recommend Xiandu to our fellow TA readers and contributors.

We enjoyed our food and good service. Everything was to our taste and we would gladly be back. We recommend this restaurant for those who enjoy Thai food.

Went to Philly for lunch and picked this spot and it didn't disappoint. Our server, Ryan, was great and attentive. I had calamari and then Red Curry with shrimp and a Thai Iced tea It was delicious! Very friendly staff.

Very good and tasty food in a nice environment. Waiters were polite, nice and efficients. Menu is varied and offers enough choices so that most can find something to their liking. Imperial rolls were crisps and tasty. Sticky rice desert was very good.

Went to Xiandu on the recommendation of our daughter. It was a hot day in Philly so I started out with an excellent refreshing mojito. Our appetizer order included Vietnamese Summer Rolls and Roti Canai. Both were fantastic and delicious. We also ordered soup, green curry and the highlight for me was the gorgeously prepared Thai Laad Salad. It was nothing I had ever tasted before. Absolutely scrumptious. It was a PERFECT lunch. I left already looking forward to my next visit there.

Had an excellent meal with family. Delicious entrees. Everyone was pleased and we had some very particular eaters. Our waiter was the best. Extremely courteous. The dining room is very nice with comfortable leather seating. But the space is lacking art work. It needs more pizzazz! Despite this we had a wonderful time and it was great for conversations. I highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

We had an awesome experience here - very attentive service from multiple different waiters, great food recommendations, and then great food! The papaya salad was really good, as were the drunken noodles. The outdoor seating area made everything even better!

Good selection of bottled beer. Appetizers were very tasty. Meals were well prepared and very generous in portions. Had mochi ice cream which is one of my favorites for dessert

Especially for lunch, Xiandu is a welcome addition to the string of franchise restaurants along Walnut between 11th & 13th. Soup or salad accompanies a wide selection of lunchtime entrees for in & around $10; both the pad thai noodles w/ beef (or chicken) & basil chicken w/ a mound of rice were delicious & hot. Altho both the music & omnipresent CNN were a bit too loud, the decor is sleek & trendy & service cordial. (Yet recognizing it's a lost cause, I am so tired of being addressed as "you guys" by wait staff.)

Our new favorite style of culinary indulgent. Great location, and nice decor but the owners were great. We had a question about parking and he took the time to research and report back to us. Thanks. The food was great and we loved the appetizers. We had the duck. Not my favorite. ( I had it all) my wife had the shrimp ( that was great) Great with friends even though the group two tables from us was super load. Great night out

Stopped by for a pre-concert meal. We chose 4 items from the “small plates” menu. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, well seasoned and perfect sized portions. The Mai Tais were wonderful! Definitely give Xiandu a try!

we joined another family for dinner after walking around the city. we were seated promptly and our waiter Tony was great. gave good advice on the menu. everything could be served individually or shared. we opted to share to try all the great flavors. especially recommend the chicken with spicy mango and with basil.

Excellent food served with grace and a smile in a clean, contemporary space. An oasis of pleasure amidst the hectic and noisy Walnut streetscape.

My mother and I were walking around Philly looking for something to eat. We couldn't agree on what we wanted, so we were kind of just wandering around the city. When we came to this place (the sign caught our attention because it's bright and the X is huge and white), we walked over to see what type of restaurant it was and to peruse the menu. When we walked up, the hostess came outside to us and handed us a paper menu to look at. She also greeted us and, really, that's why we walked in. Now, we like Thai food. But the fact that the hostess saw us, opened the door, greeted us, and gave us a menu to look at, made us go inside. So friendly and so inviting! We went inside and the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. I mean, wow. The bar top is this beautiful piece of wood that was cut to look natural. The backdrop of the bar is light blue. The paint is orange, but VERY subdued, and the tables and chairs were nice. I don't usually comment on the chairs in a restaurant, but these chairs were so soft and so comfortable and so amazingly awesome. They were the nicest, most comfortable chairs I have ever had the privilege of placing my butt on. Our waiter was VERY nice and very clearly excited about his job. I can't remember his name, but he was a young man, thin, with a gentle voice. He was so super nice and very, very attentive (he also told us how to pronounce the name). For an appetizer, we ordered the sexy finger (shrimp spring rolls) and the spring rolls. They were so delicious and so good. I wolfed them down so fast that I wasn't bothering to chew and I almost choked to death (yes. They were so yummy, I almost choked to death. These spring rolls were literally to die for). We ordered our main course (I got the stir fried basil shrimp with a side of jasmine rice) and man, I've never been so happy to be in a restaurant. The food was so good. And the portions were HUGE! The place really isn't that expensive (maybe 10-12 dollars a person, maybe a little more if you order lots of food / lots of seafood) so the huge portions were a delightful surprise. I was actually full, but I kept stuffing food into my cavernous maw because it was so good. The vegetables were cooked well (they still had a good crisp to them, but they weren't raw) and the rice was perfect. It smelled so good and it tasted even better. The sauce my food was cooked in was like a spicy basil sauce and I'm salivating as I write about it. It was a little sweet, a little spicy, with the thickness of a teriyaki sauce, but with a light enough flavor that I could still taste the flavor of the jasmine rice and the vegetables (even when I mixed everything together). BE AWARE THOUGH! For Thai food, the food is not very spicy. HOWEVER, the staff will happily cut back or up the spice for your meal. My sister hates Thai food because of how spicy it is, but this place really dials the spice back and will adjust it for your particular taste. I will say that my food was gently spicy (and I ordered a spicy dish), so if you REALLY like spice, order it extra spicy. If you don't like spice, don't worry! The food isn't that spicy and they will happily accommodate you. Another thing about the staff: my mom wanted to get pork on her dish instead of beef, but they couldn't do it. It wasn't really that big of a deal, but the waiter and the hostess both came over to apologize and were ready to make our meal better in any way they could. They are so attentive and so nice. Seriously - if you go here and don't like your food, tell them! They are the best restaurant staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We went to Xiandu on Dec. 10, 2014, and, at that point, it had only been open for 8 days, so management was still waiting for their liquor license (they were approved for it, but they needed the actual paper displayed before they could sell alcohol). By now (Dec. 15), I'm sure they have the license. Please don't let this little gem fail! The food is great, the staff is great, the restaurant is beautiful, the chairs are super comfortable, and for our whole meal (two entrees, two appetizers) our total was something like $30-$35. For a great Thai experience in Philly, go to Xiandu!

We have travelled all over asia and this must rank with the best of them. The young waiter explained every dish and was there to answer every question (great employee). There was 8 of us and they dealt with 8 dishes with no problems. Recommend this place. Well done.

We went into Philly for a quick overnight, a chance to have a quiet, recuperative night out. We checked into the hotel and walked to the Ritz for a movie. It was Friday night, the day after Valentine’s Day, around dinner time. We did not want something fancy or too crowded but we did want a romantic dinner with good food in a nice surrounding. Xiandu was perfect for us that night. We got an OpenTable reservation and walked in about 15 minutes early. They seated us right away. As we walked to our table I checked to see what others were eating. Everyone looked happy, eating and talking. It looked like a good place to go with friends who enjoyed each other’s company. The restaurant was lively but not noisy. We started with the crispy won ton appetizer special. It was light and fluffy and crispy and flavorful. And the spicy sauce set off the filling without overwhelming the delicacy. We decided that if we were still hungry at the end of the meal (we were not) we would get another serving since it was so good. We split the Grouper special with asparagus, veggies and mushrooms. There was a lovely and unusual spicy sauce that set off the fried grouper pieces. I would have preferred a simple broiled filet, not fried, but it was delicious as served. We got some extra rice to soak up the sauce. We also split a veggie Pad Thai. The peanut sauce on the noodles was a nice offset to the grouper. The whole meal was accompanied by Tiger Lager beer from Singapore. It went with the food and spice, both tasty and refreshing. For dessert we shared a limoncello ice cream thing that was not to my taste. However the pot of tea was just right. We were looking for a fun and romantic dinner with good food in a nice setting and that is what we found at Xiandu.

This restaurant serves modern take on the Thai food and it is excellent. Everything we ordered from appetizers to entrees was delicious. Crispy grouper was surprisingly tender and flavorful. Martinis were good too and the services was prompt, highly recommend.

We shared a spring roll appetizer and an interesting chicken curry entree. Everything was good, the service was friendly and efficient, and we could hear each other talk, even on Saturday night. We would go back again if we were wandering in the center city and hungry!

We had dinner here on our last night, the service was great and the food was fantastic. We had Tom Yum soup for starters and then shared four dishes Pad Si Ew, Thai Fried Rice, Massaman and Panang Curries.

Great airy minimalist style. Fantastic food and superb staff. I can honestly say the yellow curry sauce that came with the shumai was out of this world. I have to go back and order yellow curry as an entree because I can't stop thinking about it.

This is a wonderful to place to check out a variety of Asian foods, some common ones being Thai, Indian, Vietnam and Chinese. Overall the spice level was reasonable so that most people will be able to check out the foods without having a fire alarm going off in the mouth. I would have liked a little bit more spicy but guessing you can request more if preferred. I checked out the Vietnamese soup which was tasty as well as the Curry Puff and Roti Canai both great appetizers. They staff were good. The decor was overall nice. Great place to check out.

I so love this place.once you enter and are greeted by Nancy you don't wanna go anywhere else.we sat at the bar where the bartender told us they are packed during happy hours and we just missed that but we ordered beer and mango martini n couple of appetizers and everything was soooo perfect.the appetitzers were delicious and simply divine.the service was fabulous and food presentation was fantastic.u will love this place.next time I will go during happy hours and stay Bac for dinner too

This is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants and we know why! Their food and staff are exceptional. Nothing on the menu will let you down.

This restaurant was a regular dinner choice when we lived in Center City. It's been a long time since our last visit. Service was very good and our waiter was super friendly and made very helpful recommendations. Menu has evolved with some new choices in addition to old favorites. Great food - so good we questioned why we hadn't come back more often.

Had no idea this great place was part of the Walnut St restaurant scene. Tucked between other restaurants, retail stores and across from the Forrest Theatre, this was a good find. Nine of us were able to get seated on a Friday night and had a fun time. The place is very loud which made talking a bit difficult. Our waiter, Brian, made up for that. He presented selections with great detail, was cool and calm and friendly. It was if we were the only ones in the place despite it being jammed. His attention to detail was amazing. Food was really good. Many selections for vegetarians, which many in our group were. The fried rice, pad Thai and pulled pork were savory. Appetizers were varied and done well. Overall food was above expectations. Drinks and desserts were good too! Would definitely go again. Ask for Brian!

Took my two adult 'children' to dinner here. Found the place while 'walking the streets'. Girls looked at many local places and settled on this one. We had a hard time deciding what to order but in the end, it did not matter - everything was outstanding. The service was excellent and we really appreciated that the wait staff stayed on top of the water glasses. While the dishes were not too spicy, having ice water was helpful. Even dessert - chocolate mouse - was good!

What a warm welcome you get in this city restaurant. A good range of drinks to accompany excellent eastern food. There were many authentic Thai dishes here and every item ordered was served quickly, hot and delicious.

Amazing food - fresh ingredients, tasty, rich massaran curry, and perfectly balanced sweet and sour Xiandu chicken. Definitely will recommend to anyone stopping by Philly!!

Visit this place and lite up your mouth! Enjoy the many different spices in their selections. Thai Tea is a must along with the sticky rice! Off to explore the remainder of the city.

Best drunken noodles in the city. The fried calamari is a must-have, very fresh and flavorful. Was intrigued with the fusion. The Southeast Asian flavors with South American ingredients. Totally love the huge Duck Taco appetizer. The lamb chops special menu item was incredible.

We came here after an arts tour. We had calamari and tofu baker as appetizers. The calamari was very good. The tofu had too much peanut sauce and the tofu was too thick and had no flavor. For dinner we had drunken noodles, very good, Pas Si Ew, also good, and Pad Thai, where the tofu was better. We had 2 different tea drink and one tasted like we were drinking a campfire. My daughter had had the drink before and said it didn’t taste like that. I would go back. The service was good and most of our selections were good.

Found this restaurant without checking reviews, and it was better than I anticipated. Excellent service, and very fresh ingredients. Everyone in our party just loved it.

Good thai food and homemade teas. Food is a little on the expensive side, but portions are large. Service was excellent.

Xiandu Thai Fusion has become one of my favorite pre-theatre restaurants. The food is very good -- spice level is toned down to make it more tolerable to American palates but is not bland or mild, and the menu includes some interesting options. Curries, Drunken Noodles, Thai Basil sautés are all good; companions have enjoyed duck and pork entrees. Wine is often a generous pour. Happy hour specials are good but are only served in the bar area. And what a pleasure to be able to hold a conversation at dinner without shouting. Good value for the price.

Popped in for dinner on a Monday night. Got seated right away. Our waiter Brian was very attentive and informative. Got shrimp shumai to start and they were tasty and hot. The yellow curry dipping sauce was tasty and not too spicy. I got the pad se li and it was very good. I liked the sauce and variety of vegetables in it. My son got the chicken. in garlic sauce and he too enjoyed it. Whole garlic bulbs were in the dish and gave it a nice flavor. Will be back when in Philly!

Very nice ambiance, awesome food. We had the spring rolls and BBQ Chicken wings for appetizers and even my husband, who is not a fan of Thai cuisine, loved it! I had the Tom Kha chicken coconut soup and it was one of the best I've tasted. For dinner my husband got the Saute chicken with mango and surprisingly loved that too! I had the Beef Se Yu and finished my entire plate. So good! A must if you like Thai cuisine or are trying to introduce Thai to a newcomer. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful too.

Had a solo dinner tonight here, as I'm in Philly on business. I am SO impressed. I was seated immediately and the service was very attentive. My server wore a sharp suit too. :) I had an apple sangria cocktail that was delicious! Started off with a house salad with avocado and creamy ginger dressing. The menu didn't mention anything about oranges or pineapple on the salad, and while some may not like the additions, I loved them! For my entree, I had red curry shrimp. I can't begin to describe how perfect it was. Creamy and spicy and full of fresh shrimp and a ton of fresh vegetables, and served with jasmine rice. I will probably eat here again some time this week before I go home. Yum!

Food: Cold, tasteless and bland, found hair in it. Restaurant refused to refund the food despite me calling them with the above issues.

The Thai food here is incredible-from soup to entree great flavor great portions, staff very friendly beautiful restaurant!

I loved Thai cuisines at this place. The aroma of all the food was driving me crazy and I tried one of their best dishes with my partner. Loved them all.

We recently had a great pre-theater [Hamilton @ Forrest Theater right across the street] at Xiandu. Their location is convenient to both the Forrest and Walnut theaters. I had read several favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. The street entrance may be unassuming, but after entering you see a modern restaurant with ample seating. Reservations recommended, although we had no trouble getting a 5:30 reservation a few days prior to our visit. Xiandu offers several choices of imported Thai beers, local brews, as well as a full bar. Our Tiger beers came with iced glasses. We enjoyed all of the food we ordered. For an appetizer my wife and I shared a dish of shumai - steamed oriental shrimp & crab dumplings with a yellow curry dipping sauce. In terms of entrees we thoroughly enjoyed the green curry with chicken and the panang curry with shrimp. For many of the entrees, you pick the sauce and then the type of protein to be added — generally chicken, beef, shrimp, or vegetable & tofu. Another in our group had high praise for the seasoning on grilled salmon. One last suggestion if you are heading on to the Forrest for a show. Use the bathroom in Xiandu before you leave. We highly recommend Xiandu and plan on returning for one of our upcoming theater nights.

Good food, pretty good service, great location. Overall ratings: Food 5 Service 4 Atmosphere 4 Value 4 Ate here with a small group (7 people) in town for the election. We had just all finished going door to door and were about to watch election returns in a hotel ballroom. So we wanted something relaxing, delicious, fast, and in an atmosphere where we could talk to each other without shouting. Xiandu delivered on those goals. We reserved via Open Table, our table was ready and we were seated immediately. It took awhile for the server to come around and get drink orders, than a really long time for a) the drinks to arrive and b) for her to return for the food orders. Once ordered, food came pretty quickly, and it was totally delicious. This was at 7 PM on a Tuesday evening, the place was not at all crowded. So service should have been fast. Menu included some items with an Indian influence. I had panang curry which was great. They offer brown rice with meals, which I appreciate. Beer selection was bottles only, pretty typical for Thai restaurants, and I had Kirin Ichiban which was scrumptious. A couple ordered a bottle of house Cabernet (they were out of the house Merlot) and they pronounced it fine, didn't sound outstanding. I can easily see returning, yet with so many outstanding choices in central city Philly, I'll make the rounds first.

I was never a fan of curry and took a chance to order the yellow curry chicken. I explained to the restaurant lady how I live in NYC visiting PA for some hours. Man, was it unexpectedly great!!! The taste took me by surprise and I enjoyed every bite. It was enough to save some for the next day. I am truly going to visit this restaurant whenever visiting PA again.

The restaurant we intended to go to was empty--not a good sign--so we walked around and spied Xanadu. We all like Thai food so decided to take the risk. We were not disappointed--very good food.

We stayed in Philadelphia for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon trip. On the last night we fancied eating out and stumbled across this place on trip advisor so sought it out, and we were so glad we did. When we arrived it was just before 7pm, and therefore happy hour (a happy coincidence!) so we had the most incredible half price passionfruit mojitos. Followed by the nicest meal we’ve eaten this whole trip! I had the pad see ew, and my husband had the mango chicken. Followed by another couple of passion fruit mojitos ;-) The staff were friendly, the setting is nice, and the food & drinks are incredible. Eat here!

Came in on a snowy April evening, and we weren't to only ones! Nice spot. Good Americanized Thai.... You'll find all the favorites from curries to satay to tom yum & tom kha. All was well dinner and tasty. All in all a solid place to come if you aren't looking to relive your time abroad! 2 apps, a soup, an entree, and a cocktail -with tip- ran $60.

Menu is standard Americanized Thai. Nothing authentic or creative, but all the flavors are solid and there is s nice freshness to everything. Comfortable modern decor. The service is extremely attentive and detailed...be careful if talky waitstaff is not your thing.

Thai food is very good. Pad Thai with wide noodles was well prepared with just the Right amount of heat and ability to ramp it up to personal taste. Friendly staff and ownership provide a pleasant dining experience.

If you're ever in Philadelphia's Gayborhood and looking for some fantastic Thai, this is one of our favorite spots. We literally found this place the day after they opened. Yea, that how seriously we take our food exploration in this household! The first time we ate here we tried the Thai Chili Lemongrass Shrimp and Angry Beef. Both entrees were served with Jasmine Rice. We also had a bunch of appetizers, ALL of them were EXCELLENT! We loved this place so much, we are their FIRST review on Yelp, a featured review and I took a group of 7 Girlfriends back for a birthday dinner. The window in the front opens up for alfresco dining and they have their liquor license now! When we first discovered them they didn't and I was sipping on their flavorful teas! Even those were excellent. Yea, I can't say enough about them....just go!

Visited on a Friday night. Seated immediately and got cocktails. The mango martini was delicious. We had chicken satay and fried dumplings as a starter. The satay was particularly good. For main course, we had Penang curry and dan dan noodles. Both were pretty spicy (which we love) and the Penang in particular was excellent. We had leftovers to take home from our nice sized potions. Our waiter Ryan was on point with the water refills and making sure we had everything. Overall, excellent experience and will return when in the area.

This was my 2nd time at Xiandu for thai food and was not disappointed! Both meals were delicious--flavorful, fresh and every bite was wonderful! First visit had the red curry with chicken and my friend had the angry beef--yummy! This past week I had the mango chili chicken, watercress corn fritters--both fantastic! The service excellent! Brian is such a delight and fun! Really make the experience even better! Highly recommend, you can't go wrong! Enjoy!!

11 of us here for a post wedding dinner. Great food and decent size portions. Spring rolls didn’t have much filling but everything else was great. Duck with pineapple, mango chilli beef and chicken pad thai. The duck was with bones and could have had a bit more sauce but was still nice. Some of us had wine as well. Waiter was attentive and patient as we took a while to order. Total price for the 11 of us including compulsory tip included was $346 which was quite reasonable. Quite a few restaurants are closed on a Monday night but this one was open.

This place was close to our hotel and as we liked asian food we thought we would give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, they were great. There were 8 of us and they assited us by finding us a larger table and then explained what was on the menu as a few of us didn't like hot food. The waiter chap was very helpful. The food was fabulous so we all agreed that this place was the way to go. We normally don't tip as that is not our custom but we made an effort here. Recommend it.

Best Thai food restaurant I have found in Philly. You can tell that the chef has a lot of passion for food as each dish is prepared with very fresh ingredients. Service is friendly.

Really great Thai food and really nice staff who always accommodate every request. Great happy hour food and drink specials. Speedy pick up and delivery

Stopped by for a quick lunch and the food & service was great!! The staff there are so nice and wanting to please.

Food was absolutely gorgeous! Authentic and highly tasty. Large portion sizes, so we couldn’t finish everything. Attentive service only added to a great Thai meal.

Verry Perrfect. Incorrect English - because it is beyond perfect... great authentic food - all the best of south east asia. The service is excellent - fast - with a smile - and food does not keep you waiting, just wanting that the stomach had more space. Bar menu is great too... one can get parking nearby after a few attempts. Must try place

While mostly Thai, the menu is a wonderful mix of different Asian preparations and fusion. Wonderful service. Great food. Very happy.

Stopped in for lunch to Xiandu. We are not regulars when it comes to eating Thai food and our waiter was very patient and offered excellent advice. As we struggled to make our selections, he offered to bring us our Tom Yum soup that was part of all lunch specials while we considered. Nice touch. I ended up with Thai Mango Chicken and my wife had Pad Paradise. Two very different dishes but both were great as was the soup. Make Xiandu a definite destination on your next trip.

Very good dishes. Price seemed a little expensive but in the end given the quantity served it is not too expensive. Only the bowl of rice is too small! Good address

My wife and I had a very enjoyable dining experience tonight. The food was very good. The spice level was perfect as neither of us had to add any heat to our meals. The coffee was very good and the triple mousse was out of this world. All this and very good service. Will be back.

Enjoyed a late dinner here with 5 friends. Soups were well spiced and tasty, a curry chicken dish was flavorful tho slightly lacking in chicken, and other dishes were above par dishes. Odd to see a mojito on the drink menu; that’s part of the fusion-ness. Likewise some other menu items showed shared influences. Overall a worthwhile stop for a tasty meal in a comfortable atmosphere.

First visit. More like 3 1/2** experience. Something was very good, something was not. Ambiance: modern, nice. Food: Chicken Green Curry was great (though IF we were asked about spice level we would prefer it to be a bit spicier). Apps (viet spring roll and roti canai) were not so good. Here is description of spring rolls from their menu: "Grilled shrimp, cucumber, fresh mint leave, basil and lettuce wrapped with rice paper and served with peanut sauce". From all of it basil and mint leaves were missing but in stead half of the roll was filled with rice noodle. Not what was described and not what we'd ordered if it was described the way it was served. Roti Canai sauce was missing in flavor but in stead was full of small fragments of bones. It was the first Roti Canai served with bones in the sauce to us. I am not an expert in Malaysian cuisine might be it's supposed to be this way, but it was kind of weird. Mango with sticky rice would be great IF the rice wasn't too mushy and had at least a hint of flavor other then the flavor of plain boiled rice. So the food was hit or miss. Service: very nice and attentive. Value: if you go with lunch special or have restaurant.com coupon it's great, Otherwise is not so great. Warning: We didn't know at the time but Mango Rice dessert was priced $9 (instead of $4-$5 other places charge for it) and was totally not worth it. But we'd still return if in Philly and recommend it because the curry was that good and we would like to try some other dishes.

The food was delicious. My family and I are love Thai food so every time we go on a vacation we scout neighborhoods for some thai. This did not disappoint. The ambiance is also nice, the service was good and the price was right. By the way, the place is also very clean.

We ate here pretty much by chance (there are many choices on Walnut Street) - incredibly smiley and friendly welcome at the door - nice decor - equally friendly waiter. I ordered the TomSum Salad and asked for it hot (1-5 with five being maximum heat) - waiter warned me that hot really means hot. I went for it anyway and he was right - true Thai heat - and it was very good. If you don't have a high chili tolerance though take his advice! Followed with shrimp red curry and jasmine rice - again I had 5 heat and it was delicious. I don't honestly know if they make the curry sauce base fresh (most places don't) but I will say the flavors were really impressive and the portion just right.

I have been to several Thai places in Philly but this one is definitely the best. The food is very fresh and savory. Several Thai restaurants will cut corners to conserve higher priced ingredients and replace with fillers. This restaurant does not.

This place is awful. On top of the food being terrible, they delivered an hour late and gave me the wrong order. When I called them they refused to either deliver my correct order OR give me a refund. Could not believe how rude they were.

We stumbled across Xiandu when passing and found the food to be amazing and full of flavours and the staff to be extremely helpful. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Came and sat with a group for a round of appetizers and a couple of drinks. Those were good. The front of the house is a bit crowded. Got to our table for dinner, and had a great server. Brian is gregarious and fun, with great suggestions on food. The food was fantastic and Brian continued the entertainment throughout the dinner.

While getting some fresh air after a morning in the hospital, I stopped in Xiandu Thai for their lunch special. I went for the national dishes of Thailand : pad Thai and Tom yum soup. The soup went well with a cold day and had a good assortment of veggies but no protein, not even bean curd. It also had too much vinegar for my taste and was not terribly spicy. The pad Thai was a generous serving with four large but tasteless shrimp. Like the tom yum, I would have preferred more heat and I surprised to fine no peanuts. The dish was prepared to order and the contrast in texture and hot and cold ingredients were very nice.

Enjoyed the meal - great vegetarian options and good to have option for brown rice. Friendly and attentive staff, reasonably priced.

Thai food is a favorite; I have learned to competently cook several Thai dishes and I seek out Thai restaurants whenever I travel. When here for an early dinner on a Tuesday evening we found our orders to be top notch in flavor and freshness, and we found the service to be top notch as well. The Tom Yum soup had notes of lemon grass and of chili. The Pad Thai chicken, which did not have the traditional peanuts, did have all of the other traditional salty/sweet/sour ingredients. And the Xiandu Chicken was stand out dish, loaded with flavor. We also benefited from having a spice kit brought to the table so we could add additional flavors as desired. During the dinner our waiter provided constant attention. Nicely done.

Cute atmosphere (maybe trying too hard to be "trendy" but almost makes it more endearing). Think white leather chairs and neon lights. The service was good. We were there late on a weeknight so it wasn't crowded. Vietnamese summer rolls with shrimp were standard but good. Drink (Tom Yum Martini) was the spiciest thing I've ever had to drink, but was hoping to knock out some sinus stuff so maybe that was good. I had the thai Green curry with tofu and vegetables which is my go to option at thai restaurants. Very good but didn't stand out as different or better than other good thai places but great vegetable selection included. Thought the prices were very reasonable for being so close into center city.

The food was wonderful. I have a picky 11 year old and the fried rice was perfect for him and made him happy(hard to do on a good day). My daughter had pad Thai for the first time and liked it so much she ate more than she should have. My red curry was good but the angry beef needed more "angry".

While visiting Philadelphia on Saturday, we stopped for dinner at Xiandu, a Thai fusion restaurant. We did not have reservations, but they managed to accommodate our party of four. The dining room was simply decorated and comfortable. We started our meal with appetizers of spring rolls, dim sum and Thai dumplings. My grandson and I then each had a bowl of Tom Yum soup. Each bowl had three big shrimp and loads of veggies. Tom Yum is one of my favorite soups and their version is one of the best. For entrees, my wife and daughter had Pad Thai, my grandson had the Thai Chili Mango with chicken and he loved it. I had the Penang curry with shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and efficient. We would certainly return.

Other than for the Thai iced tea, which tasted weirdly soapy and smelled funny, the rest of the food was delicious. Especially the mango chicken and the chicken green curry. Large portions and the waiters are all really nice. This place is located in close proximity to other restaurants but I think this spot stands out from all the others. If you're in the area, and if you're in the mood for Thai, I'd give this place a try.

Went here after good reviews and chasing some good Thai food.. but what we ordered wasn't very authentic, tastes all types of wrong maybe the fusion ( unsure of what cuisine is it fused with ) is to replace Thai ingredients with American ingredients and cross our fingers and pray it tastes good...... Sadly it didn't. Disappointed.

First experience with this restaurant for me and my guest. We both enjoyed our food and the service was attentive without being hurried like in so many restaurants. Owners were present and greeted us when we arrive and thanked us for our business as we left, that doesn't happen frequently enough in today's city restaurants.

The food was really good - we had vegetable red curry and duck - and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. I like to finish dinner with an espresso, but they only serve what seemed like instant coffee. A little bit of a let down at the end of a very good meal.

Ate in the middle of the afternoon and were concerned it real cook was on. Didn't need to worry, the food was nicely prepared with good meat and good tasting and adequate sauces. I think the Pad Thai that I make is one of the best but this one came close.

It was a rainy day in the city of brotherly love when our plane touched down. The flight was too long from Dallas. It did not take long to get out of the airport to catch a cab to Hotel. But the traffic was slow on the way , just put a test on the threshold of my patience. I was pretty tired and hungry for hot spicy foods and found one within 5 min walking distance from my hotel. It was drizzling but I was too lazy to take the umbrella. As a matter of fact, I was enjoying the slow snd soft drops of rain on this hot evening. I did a reservation on line for two. We were greeted by the receptionist and was given a booth. Plain and simple decoration with moderate noise level. But the menu had lot of choices. I had trouble deciding what to order. I ordered chicken tortilla rolls and seafood Lover. The chicken tortilla was delicious with basil leaves. Enjoyed that with two different sauces. The seafood Lover , a mixture of different seafood was full of spices and flavor. It made me full and made my day. I was too full to order any dessert. The price of the food is reasonable. No valet parking . I enjoyed the food and definitely will come back in future.

When i knew Inwas coming to Phili for business, I knew I could find fine thai food. In my hometown there is none, so I investigated some places, and Xiandu had the best reviews. And now I know why: food is really Thai, and all ingredients are fresh and tasty. The only warning is that they prepare the dishes mild, so if you want them hot, ask for the chili so you can spice it up. I tried the Tom Yum Soup and the red curry. Both were A+ dishes! Also, all the staff is nice and they treat you with the oriental kindness they really are. The Owner is on top of things, so every detail is taken care of. Also, I had a Tiger beer! Memorable food indeed!

Excellent food- the best green curry I’ve ever had, and the pad Thai was top 3 at least. Great service. We’re only visiting the area or we’d be back regularly!!!

Great food and very friendly attentive staff. Food is well prepared from fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection. Great suggestions from Brian.

We have been to many Thai restaurants in Phila. and NYC. This was by far the best and the prices were reasonable. They also have a very unique bar menu. We had the red apple sangria, which was excellent.

Got a table here after being told there was a 75 minute wait at two places around the corner (they were obviously full of it) but we could not have been happier. All courses were great , price was very fair, Service was ebullient. Thanks for saving our night!!

Authentic food and very nice staff. Fusion and Thai centric dishes available. You won't leave disappointed.

Great Asian FUSION spot. Thank you Kena for your warm service and suggestions. I did not know what to order so left it to server’s choice. Kena asked a couple of questions and off she went. Started with a salad and it was really good, great flavors. Ended up with beef with flat noodles, almost like a Hong Kong drunken noodles. Great choice Kena. Spicy but needed some more spice so she came back with add-ons. Wonderful The service was great and food was fast. LOVED it.

I was walking down walnut street in the mood for Thai and decided to stop in. I've had some trouble finding decent Thai in Philadelphia and thought this was very good. I only had the Pad Thai. The pad Thai is how I usually judge my Thai restaurants to start. I thought the flavor was good, the portion size was large and the service was very good. I look forward to coming back and trying some new dishes.

Lovely Thai spot for dinner whether dining inside (pretty décor, soothing lighting with large open windows and entry door in front) or out. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food is cooked and spiced to perfection and attractively served. We enjoyed a leisurely meal and the people watching in this neighborhood.

Stumbled on this through TripAdvisor looking for someplace different for a pre-theater meal. Hope this one stays around for next season! The decor is very simple and comfortable, and as the sunlight fades, there is a terrific blue glow on the ceiling from the lights at the bar. We started with some tasty custom "martinis". Decent beer and wine list also. Appetizers were delicious and varied - among the 5 of us we had a tofu dish with peanut sauce, samosas, salmon spring rolls, and fried dumplings. All quite flavorful and plenty for sharing. Main courses included a vegetable/tofu fried rice, duck, striped bass, and a seafood combination. Portions were generous, and spicing was just right for us. For dessert, coconut sorbet got rave reviews and a berry cake was tasty, but should have been pulled from the freezer sooner. Pretty sure they buy their desserts from elsewhere, but they were just fine.

Excelente food and they are super friendly, 100% recommended! Everything we ate was so testy don’t miss the Mochis, amazing!

We started with drinks during happy hour at the beautiful walnut slab bar. The entire staff was attentive and there level of responsiveness was well above the norm. Appetizers and entries were beautifully prepared, and spiced just to our individual tastes. The decor was as tasteful as the food. Go and enjoy!

We have eaten at Xiandu Thai Fusion before . Food is good and service is good. We called ahead for an early reservation and were seated promptly. We told them we would need to be on our way buy a certain time as we were volunteering at the Walnut Street Theatre. They said that was no problem. However we noticed when paying the bill that each item we ordered was $1 more then on the physical menu and their on line menus. 🤔 We were not informed that this would happen.. Since we had to be on our way we didn’t have time to question it... But feel that someone should has apprised us if I’m fact there was a reason for and extra $4 ...

We were looking for a good place to eat before we went to Walnut Street Theater and Xiandu Thai Fusion fit the bill. It's just three blocks down from the 11th Street exit of Jefferson Station and is then just a few blocks to the Walnut or to the theaters on the Avenue of the Arts (Merriam, Kimmel, etc). We probably never would have given it a second look without the positive reviews. It doesn't really stand out from the other restaurants from the outside. But step inside to a modern, tastefully decorated, and spotless restaurant with full bar. We were there for lunch and the service was fast and attentive. The food was very good. A good assortment of appetizers. Entrees were reasonably priced and very tasty. Thai beers (Singha and Tiger). My wife had an interesting Pimms cocktail. Entrees are available in vegetarian and in various meat varieties. We saw numerous interesting plates as we looked around the restaurant. Will definitely go there again.

We are Thai novices.....but we were fortunate to get Brian as our server the early evening we stopped. He was excellent! Walked us thru the menu, asked what we liked, what we didn't, how we like it, how we don't like it.....everything he suggested was perfect! I tried the Pad See Ew with the rice noodles, and my husband tried the Thai version sorta like General Tso's. No disappointments here. We were a little early and basically had the restaurant to our selves. Clean and modern, inside, it was a delight and definitely a be back! Ask for Brian!

Colleague and I were in town on business. Appetizer and meals were fantastic...all recommendations from our very attentive and passionate waiter, Brian. Tofu baker was surprisingly delicious. Yellow curry with chicken with brown rice was perfection. Pad Si Ew was excellent. Will definitely go back to indulge in even more savory dishes.

Massamum curry had no spice at all despite saying "hot and spicy". Red curry was fine. Let the people there know and they were rude. Would not recommend.

My coworkers brought me here for my birthday lunch. The food was amazing and good size portions. The waitress also surprised me with ice cream for dessert because it was my birthday! I can't wait to come back.

The food is good. The service could stand some improvement. First off, hostess didn't bother to look at us when we walked in. I mean, that's pretty basic, no? Then our waitress couldn't seem to be made to care if we needed anything. A pet peeve of mine: my water glass should NEVER be empty. Not only did it go empty, it stayed empty until I asked for a refill. Not good. As I say, the food is very nice. I had the yellow curry chicken, my Mrs had the padthai noodles. Well prepared and tasty, with nice portions to boot.

Odd that such a good Asian restaurant should find its way to Walnut Street, but I am glad it did. I have been there for lunch on several occasions and have been impressed with the level of quality they bring to the food. The menu is varied and not run of the mill at all. It is a very convenient location for center city lunchers like me. The service is also very good. Given the food, the service and the price, this place provides great value. Don't be afraid to ask questions of the wait-staff; very helpful.

I ate here with friends on a Tuesday night recently. The restaurant was moderately busy for early in the week. Regardless, our party of 6 was seated immediately. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and quite enough that we didn't have to tell to hear each other. The staff was pleasant, very helpful in recommending beverages and meals. They were also quite entertaining and we had fun joking with them. The Asian dumplings and vegetable dumplings were a great way to start us off. The tiger beer was a great, lighter foreign beer as were the various cocktails. The best part of our meal though was the entrees. The pad thai, seafood lover, pad kee, and xiandu chicken was excellent (yes, we shared). The meals were cooked perfectly. The noodles were spot on and the spices weren't overpowering. We were all extremely happy with all aspects of our meal and service. I'd highly recommend Xiandu Thai!

It's difficult to give Xiandu Thai a five star review based on my limited experience there, so I will start with four stars, add that it was a delightful evening on every level, and promise that we WILL be going back.. We stopped in pre-theater for a quick (light) dinner, were greeted by a charming hostess who seemed genuinely happy to see us, and were seated us at a very nice upstairs table, in an attractive dining space. The food was delicious; I wish we'd tried more of it, but we were tight on time and couldn't linger and enjoy. We ordered two appys and an entree to share, and had them all brought out as ready. The steamed Asian Dumplings were good, but a little bland. The Asian Monkfish Tacos were exceptional, bursting with flavor. I could have made a meal of them, and wish I'd ordered the Duck ones as well. (Next time!) The Xiandu Chicken entree was a safe and yummy complement, full of flavor, bright color and veggies. Our server Brian was excellent, and I'm a stickler for great service. He was attentive, informative, and friendly and was one of the better servers I have had in years. I'm excited to go back soon and, based on what we saw on our first visit, will be bringing friends and family when we return. Nicely done Xiandu Thai!

My husband and I split the salmon spring rolls as an appetizer. The roll had a bit of salmon with a delicious crunchy exterior and a side of cilantro dipping sauce. As an entree we had the Pad Kee Mao with the wide rice noodles and fresh vegetables, the kick of the noodle dish complimented the sweeter and more gentle flavors of the chicken with red curry which also came with a lot of varied vegetables. The servers were respectful and helpful and the atmoshpere was relaxing.

Nice waitstaff, delicious Thai food, large portions, reasonable prices! Make a reservation on a weekend, other people know about this gem, too.

we had the watercress corn fritters with the spicy dressing and the roti wraps. The fritters were quite crispy and tasty. My daughter who usually is not excited about green vegetables really like these.

Visited them last week, on one of my frequent trips to see my daughter. She kept saying how good the food was, she was right. We ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Eew, and the corn fritter appetizer. All were great and had a lot of flavor.

Very tasty! I wasn't sure when I showed up to this place whether it was open, because it looked dark from the outside, but to my relief it was indeed open, a nice long restaurant with a bar at the front. The service was prompt--running over to replace chopsticks that had dropped in little more than a minute--and the food delicious, with a medium portion (not the largest I've seen, but not a small plate either) running $12, which seems like a good price for how delicious it is! Yum!

The good here is delicious and as good as the best Thai food I have had in many other large cities. I had the Thai Basil Chicken which was perfectly spiced. The service is also very good.

I'm not a big fan of Thai but I'm starting to become one. We come here after a afternoon Phillies game. You'll probably have to park in a parking deck but they give you a discounted ticket if you use the one they direct you too. The service was very good and the food was very tasty. I had an Asian appetizer, which was okay, but the main course was filling and excellent. I used a restaurant.com coupon which they honored. They also had a special for two people going on. My only confusion was the parking validation which I discovered was my fault. You stick your ticket in first and then the ticket they give you and you go. It's a discounted ticket but if you have time you can walk around the area. Yes the restaurant was a little upscale but I'd come back here again!!
Outstanding !
Food was awesome before seeing Book of Mormon. 10% discount with tickets to the Forrest and validation for parking. Great food. Great fun !!
