Wow, all I can say is Wow! The venison wrap appetizers might be the best thing I have eaten in years. The sirloin Cobb Salad was enough for two people and I think there was a full size steak on top. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and service from friendly and humourous server Marcus. The buffalo steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection, unlike the overdone shrimp I had in a fine dining seafood restaurant a couple of days ago. The chilli should be tried too. Super relaxing lunch

Awesome experience. Had a party of over 60 people and plenty of staff for quick service. I had one of the best steaks I ever had outside my dad’s black angus ranch. Would highly recommend for a large group.

Quality steak, but nothing you would not get at any higher end steak house. Much better that Ruth Chris and Mortons. Service was great. Cowboy cut was tender and very flavorful.

very disappointed as I read great reviews and NOTHING was like the reviews I am not sure they were genuine. Food was mediocre prices high, service so-so.

Wife and I just had our new years eve dinner here and it was outstanding. Our waitress was Megan, and she was a great, she answered all our questions , gave us info on certain meals, and gave us some good advice on ordering sides. My drink (revolver old fashioned) was exceptionally made and tasted great. For appetizer I had the Shrimp & Grits, the gravy was so very very good and the grits were excellent, I will need to go back and order that for an entrée, YES it was that good. For an entrée I had the Surf and Turf. The steak was cooked the exact medium that I wanted it and the chicken fried lobster was very moist and tender. For dessert the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake was a little on the very sweet side, but was also really good. The dinner was pricey, but we really enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning.

We enjoyed lunch and had to come back for dinner too! The decor is what you’d want when visiting Texas and the staff extremely attentive. THE FOOD is amazing! From the appetizers, sides, and steaks OMG I’m still drooling. Do not think twice about eating here!

My wife and I agree this has got to be the best steak and pecan pie we’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! Cynthia, our server, was absolutely fantastic. She was so lovely my wife wanted to take her home to England. I wouldn’t have objected. I wish both the restaurant and Cynthia all the best for the future.

Ribeye was absolutely delicious. Good service and advice. One négative point : air conditioning was too cold with fan.

Went here on a Saturday evening, while on a weekend trip with my parents. Making a reservation was easy online and

I first visited here for dinner having booked on open table - I like that you can do that as so many places have a minimum of 2 so when o see it, I feel comfortable solo travellers are welcomed. I was warmly welcomed and bread and drinks menu given straight away, was walked through the menu and I tried the buffalo steak which was totally out my comfort zone and so very worth it! Well seasoned, and my medium came out medium having had good reassurance upon ordering of what to expect. Delicious and I didn’t feel rushed being alone, as I did in some other places in Dallas. 5pm was a nice weekday time as it was quiet. Came in today and my server Thomas was so welcoming too, he made great recommendations. This time I had the salon, a cocktail and dessert. Again great flavours, no waiting for food and attentive service and no feeling rushed. I did this as a 3pm walk in. Highly recommend.

Loved this place. Sat at the bar and had a great bartender (Joel). Was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made great drinks. Had the venison appetizer and was extremely impressed with it. Everything on the menu looked good and the prices were fair. Would definitely recommend .

Went with m6 partner whilst visiting Dallas, looking for a good set! Not disappointed at all, started with cocktail as at 5he bar as we had arrived early, then on to the table, 2 x appetisers and then steak entrees, all cooked to perfection, not a. Cheap evening but a great meal and experience

We dined at the YO Ranch Steakhouse for a private business event back in November. After reading the reviews and noticing the highly ranked status on TripAdvisor and Yelp, we knew it would be the best meal so far in the area. That wasn’t exactly the case. Of course since it was a private dining event, it was a shortened menu. This was fine because it still had multiple delicious sounding options. For my first choice, I chose the sweet corn bisque. It was delicious! My business partner chose the Y.O house salad, tasty as well. For the second or main course, I ordered salmon after hearing how delicious their seafood was. To my surprise, the salmon was dry and flavorless, as were the vegetables included with it. My business partner ordered the chicken piccata and had the same things to say as me, dry and flavorless. Dessert made up for the underwhelming main course. I ordered the blueberry cobbler cheesecake, and it was divine. The Jack Daniel’s pecan pie was my business partners choice, and she enjoyed it as well. The restaurant was decorated well and the staff was kind. However, the main course was so underwhelming that I’m not sure we would return.

Excellent dining experience at YO steakhouse in a "Texan" style atmosphere. We enjoyed a bottle of Texas wine with venison rollups for appetizer followed by steak specials, which were delicious. Our servers, Marcus and Larissa, gave impeccable service, which made our dining experience one to remember.

I recently came here for a business dinner… Service was great, environment was nice, menu is loaded with nice items. The various dishes, salad, appetizers, entrées, and dessert we tried were nice, but the steak wasn’t as flavorful as it probably could have been. Prices are also high for the quality and appearance of the food that came out. I can now say I’ve been… Not too eager to return.

A large group had supper together here. The menu was one of the selected group menus. 3 choices each of starter, main, and dessert. No one left there hungry. Beef is grass fed. Very tender. The salmon was equally delicious. Attractive decor and good service. Highly recommend

The restaurant presents itself on the website as a large steakhouse with an ancient tradition and recommends a detailed dress code, under penalty of not being able to enter, which I rightly and willingly respected. I. Many other patrons did not. So it's better to leave it alone. Very nice place with courteous service, fast but not impeccable, I repeat, compared to the advertised positioning of the restaurant. I order a margarita and a bottle of Californian Chardonnay on the list, it's finished, I order a second one, the waitress returns embarrassed because this too is finished. I give up and order a mediocre Texas wine. The typical Texan appetizer was good, the perfectly cooked steak was excellent, truly excellent. In the end the bill turns out to be out of line, exaggerated, with the context. iRoby

Ate here while in Dallas. I had a NY strip 10oz which was very fairly priced. My wife had grilled salmon. Both these dishes were amazing! The steak had the southern seasoning I was craving along with a side of potatoes that were also incredible. Staff was also very nice and helpful. I’d go back here for sure.

While spending the night in Dallas, we decided to get a good steak. And at the YO, we were not disappointed. We were seated exactly on time. Our server, John, was exactly as attentive as we would have liked during the entire meal. He knew the wine collection. I had a Becker Cabernet which was perfect. The venison roll-ups were tasty and lived up to their reputation, a great balance between the venison, bacon, cheese and sauce. The only down was the wedge salad was not sweet iceberg, but just slightly bitter. I ordered the elk, and my wife ordered a beef filet steak. Both were done as ordered. The elk was incredible — lean and tender on a pilaf. On the side of each main dish was a couple of carrot disks and some green beans as a garnish, but they were delicious. Speaking of sides, I highly recommend the Gouda Mac and Cheese. The thick layer of Gouda baked to crisp on top was so delicious I am beyond words.

The food was excellent and the meat prepared perfectly. Our server, Jeff, was attentive, personable, and very perceptive. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely return when back in Dallas.

For our short 2-day visit to Dallas we ate at YO Ranch Steakhouse Twice. We loved the menu, the location and the ambiance of this restaurant. Our server Mario was so friendly, knowledgeable and nice that we asked for him on our 2nd visit there. We highly recommend YO Ranch Steakhouse and would love to eat there again some day. Justine & Robert Lewis

Wife and I went here for a business dinner with 30 people. Setting up the dinner was easy and the manager was courteous and responsive to all our questions during the scheduling process. Once there, the staff was outstanding. Prompt and friendly wait and host staff. Their wild game sampler is fantastic as is the New York strip. Excellent atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, food was so so good. Great service, nice location with shops close by. Really enjoyed it would eat there again.

Excellent meat, perfectly cooked, the accompaniment being a little light, I completed it with fries a little soft, but acceptable. The price is expensive: for a nice piece of meat, ribeye steak, a glass of wine and fries, if you count tax and tip: $100...

No visit to Dallas is complete without a visit here. Elk is outstanding! Bison is phenomenal. Wild game grill is always a wonderful choice.

Just happened by and saw the YO sign so decided to try it. Cool old building and great atmosphere when you get inside. Were seated immediately, great service, thanks Jorge. I ordered the Prime New York Strip 14oz med rare, my wife ordered the Charbroiled Meat loaf both were cooked perfect and very tasty. We topped it off with Chocolate Lava Cake and coffee. Everything was delicious and would highly recommend it. Next time we are in Dallas we’ll be back.

We were greeting kindly and immediately sat on a Friday night. Service was average but I have to say, when the ladies order a filet to split, it’s rude to assume they don’t know the size of the steak. Food was amazing and steaks tender. Sides and the bread served were good too. This was our first visit and I’d return if we found ourselves in Dallas again, loved the location and decor as well.

Took the family to YO Ranch for my daughter's twenty-something birthday. We have been numerous times, our daughter's fiancée had not been to the restaurant. Our waiter, Mario was very professional in explaining all the menu features, and specialties. We all started with the mixed grill platter, and the venison roll-ups are amazing, and the quail and wild boar sausage fall right in line. All our steaks were cooked exactly how we asked, but I can't stop raving about the Buffalo Filet. It was a portion as big as my hand and the most tender meat I've ever eaten. The gouda mac and cheese was every bit as creamy as you imagine. The GM came to our table to check to make certain everything was to our liking and stayed for just the right amount of small talk to indicate he really cared about our experience. The pace of the meal was perfect, and never once did we have a need that Mario wasn't already two steps ahead. Best meal ever...

Great steakhouse. Not too over the top as some can be, relaxed yet top notch. Had been there years ago on a business trip but liked it so much on this trip I went back two nights in a row. Had the NY Strip the first night, meat great, wine great. Went back the next night and had their elk tenderloin specialty and possibly the best cut of meat I have ever had. A special treat. All staff very accommodating and helpful

This place was AMAZING! We ordered a ton of food, corn soup, venison rolls ups, soul pork, 8 oz filet, gouda mac and cheese, maple brussels sprouts, and the wild game trio. EVERTHING was perfect, including the service, they don't let you do a damn thing for yourself. I bet if you asked them to hold your had in the bathroom they would. Our reservation was at 6:45 we called ahead just after 5 and they got us right in. Price point was great for what they serve, we had 3 cocktails along with our meal and our bill was just over 200, then added a 50% tip. I can't wait to go back, already making plans to take my family when they come visit.

We went on a Friday hoping for a long enjoyable lunch. We were seated near the reception counter when there 8 to 10 spare tables in the main level that would of been nicer. Service was good,we started with the venison roll ups and Texas chili, both nice, one roll up was very chewy. Mains were 12oz med rare steaks and they were nice also. Overall a nice time but not the highlight meal we were hoping for.

Wife and I visited YO Ranch Steakhouse in Dallas on 11/15/25 for our anniversary. It was the first time for both of us. Yes, we are foodies. The dinner was excellent. I had the Wild Game Mixed Grill and the wife got the Filet Mignon. It was the best I have ever eaten. The wife enjoyed her meal as well. Dessert was superb as well. The staff was very attentive and answered all our questions. The ambiance was perfect. If I could give more than five stars I would. The Anniversary Card left at our table and signed by the staff was a nice touch. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. I highly recommend.

It was a delightful experience with sweet staff. They were attentive and we had a great birthday for my father we won't forget. As were traveling through, it was a nice place to swing by.

Delicious food in western theme setting. I enjoyed the bison venison, alligator sausage dinner with asparagus and prickly pear sorbet for dessert. Two friends shared the Tomahawk steak. All qas delicious. Be prepared for the bill- ours was a bit over $100 per person.

YO Ranch is a steakhouse with a focus on wild game that you won’t find most places. We went with the mixed grill sampler, which had elk tenderloin, chicken fried quail and a venison chop. A different twist, solid service and a good wine list.

My colleagues and I had grown tired of convention food, so we left our hotel and made the 10 minute walk to West End. Another colleague had enjoyed YO earlier in the week, and had recommended it to us. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is small, and our four-top table was cramped for our party, but the restaurant was clean and the ambiance was perfect. No too noisy, so we could easily talk over dinner. Nice wine list, varied menu, and aggressive but not unreasonable prices. A colleague and I created a surf-and-turn entree by ordering one Cowboy steak and one chicken fried lobster, and splitting them. Our venison appetizer was a treat, too. Dinner came out hot, fresh, and in a short time. All in all a great experience. We'd enjoyed lunch across the street at Family Thais a day earlier, and I can't wait to experience the solid back-to-back dining experiences when I return!

Service with excellent. The recommendations that were made were spot on. Overall a meal to remember. Be sure to try the Wild Game trio as an appetizer. You and your friends/family won’t regret it.

A great dining experience. Be sure to order the Venison Roll Up appetizer, tasty! The Steak was prepared to perfection . Thank you Marcus Ruiz and Larissa for such extra attention to make sure we had a wonderful evening.

As I walked in the door, too tired and "stressed out" to think of the time, Melissa greeted me in an entirely welcoming manner. That already helped to shake off the road. Melissa could tell I was tense and that led to me explaining the 5hrs in the rain on I-35, past the sites of a dozen car wrecks. When she was satisfied that I was cheered-up enough to enjoy dinner she handed me off to Marcos. Marcos went considerably above and beyond. Although I arrived late, he made sure I got the dinner I'd ordered. He gave a perfect recommendation for a wine. If knowing how late it was, I'd not have ordered dessert ... but when he asked, I wondered if they served crème brûlée ... Yes! Done .. crème brûlée and coffee! but don't make a pot just for me. ( by then I may have been the last diner present ). After a nice wedge salad; a wonderful rib eye; with a nice full-bodied cabernet; a serving of asparagus with an excellent sauce - to top if off, crème brûlée and fresh coffee ( I suspect Marcos made a pot ... hopefully just a fresh cup ). Noting that the crème brûlée was warm I asked him to thank the kitchen for caramelizing the crust to order ... no, that was Marco himself. Wonderful!

We didn’t have reservations but went early and got a table for 2. The waiter, Marcos Ruiz, greeted us and made us feel we’d been his guests many times. He was funny, recommended good wines and knew his entrees. The decor was casual but the tables were set in a way that seemed like we were important folk to be treated with the best service. We got it. We tried the special which was a sampling of steak and game cooked perfectly with good flavor. Our Cabernet was perfect for our choice of entree.

My daughter and I had lunch here on a Saturday, before visiting a nearby museum. I wouldn't normally choose a steak house for a 'light' lunch, but there was no wait. We chose small salads- the house salad, and we split a French dip. The salads were fresh and crisp. I am a big fan of French dip sandwiches, and I want to tell you, this was THE BEST one I've ever had! The meat was tender and flavorful, the bread soft and delicious. Our server was Antonhyo. He was professional and efficient, and had a winning smile. So. Great food and service, and reasonably priced. Social distancing was observed. What more could one want? Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Food was unbelievable. Wife had a filet and I had a ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Ordered Gouda Mac and Cheese as a side and it was heaven.

A tour guide recommended this restaurant, it’s reasonably priced, and the steaks, service and atmosphere didn’t disappoint I opted for a small fillet steak which was simply delicious and added the onion and mushroom sauce, all washed down with a nice bottle of Malbec Attentive service and steakhouse atmosphere We dined here on a Monday night and the restaurant was full, would recommend booking

I confess, I don't normally live at this level. Once or twice a year, in the right company, I splurge some. But in Dallas for the first time in six or seven years, and in the YO for the first time since... 2010, I think, and with my convention friends, it was a chance to live it up a bit. We were seated in the back, the Longhorn Lodge, and Fidel took great care of us from the moment we were seated. Most of us ordered salads, I didn't. I was content to get into the bread basket. I'd been thinking of ribeye or prime rib all day, but then the wild game special was a mixed grill. Bison tenderloin, two links of alligator sausage, and an antelope chop with a peppercorn cream sauce. Spoiler alert, I'd never had what the French call an "au poivre" sauce before, but that stuff is life changing. Anyway, of the five of us, I think three took that mixed grill option as the unique opportunity it was. You can get good beef a lot of places, but you're not getting that. Sides for the table were roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon and mashed potatoes. I'll be completely honest and say the mashed potatoes were the only thing I could do better at home, but that's because I make mine with enough butter and sour cream as to make it a dairy item on the food pyramid instead of a carb. You really can't do that in a public establishment. Between the atmosphere, the company, and the food, it's probably the best meal I had in the last 365 days, and unless something really extraordinary happens, it'll probably hold that distinction for the rest of 2024. I won't be back as soon as I'd like, but I'll be back someday and at least throw the place a mention in a future novel.

First night in Dallas on a quick business trip from Ireland so had to try a steakhouse. YO was just what was needed after a 9 hour flight. Sat at the bar with great service from Josie. Great beer choices, plenty of game on the menu and steak was very good (not quite Irish beef good🤣🤣). Added bonus of Bill Belichick’s first college football game for UNC. Welcome to Dallas!

Very good service and excellent food. To hot for the patio:(. I would go back to this restaurant again when I'm back in the area.

My wife and I were lost in Dallas, looking for where to eat, this restaurant caught our attention and without knowing reviews and already very hungry we decided to go in and at first a super cozy place, good Ranger, the meat exquisite and once the host came out, we She commented that they had been winning first prizes for the quality of their meat for several years and she herself sees how when they make the cuts, they are fresh meat, never frozen, in short, highly recommended.

Had a delicious steak and a side of the Mac and cheese. My husbands isn’t a huge game eater but absolutely loved the game meat that was recommended. The cheesecake melted in my mouth, the entire visit was nothing short of amazing.

I researched Dallas eateries extensively before choosing YO for our 20th Wedding Anniversary dinner. The server was friendly and wished us a “Happy Anniversary” right out of the gate. The steak had an awesome taste and was seasoned nicely but it was a bit tough. It was an expensive cut so it was a little disappointing. The meatloaf had a great taste but was served lukewarm. Overall, the experience was good just not great. I wasn’t “wowed” though I’d be willing to visit again. It’s a neat place with a cool western vibe.

My colleague and I went for dinner after a long day at a conference. We arrived about 5:30 and the restaurant was empty. It kept filling up as time went on so I would suggest reservations if you want to dine later. Our first order of the 6oz filet minon came out medium well despite being ordered medium rare. I was going to be Midwest polite and just eat it. My colleague said they should be sent back. The waiter and manager agreed and we received new steaks cooked to perfection and they brought a second round of sides. I would go back since they made everything right and were nice about the mistake.

We went to see Dallas and read the reviews of this restaurant, they are not wrong at all! We came to eat, excellent service, the waiter was very friendly, he made recommendations for dishes and beers, he even took excellent photos of us, all DELICIOUS!!! Friendliness, cleanliness, location and above all, high quality of food, I will definitely return and I highly recommend it!!!

We stumbled across this restaurant and was not disappointed! The bison filet was amazing! We had great service and well priced! Loved the atmosphere

Business dinner for 3 on a Monday in June. So the restaurant was not close to full so ambience was understandably not 100%. I can imagine this restaurant rocks on the weekends. Bar service was prompt and good. Service after being seated in general was just "OK" relative to the price of the meal. No introduction. Had to be prompted to provide information specials. Didn't appear that knowledgeable or interested in the menu items. The menu offerings were all good/solid . We shared the Wild Game platter to start - very very good. Then entrees (ribeye, elk tenderloin, and wild game and wild game mixed grill (with the addition of a buffalo tenderloin for a very reasonable upcharge) were all very well received. Sides (mushrooms and brussels sprouts) were more than enough for the three of us and very good). Wine selection was good...not great. I really wanted to LOVE this restaurant - and ultimately I liked it instead. Definitely good. Just for my party not "great".

Atmosphere was awesome, our server was fantastic and the food was amaaaaazing! I had a filet and my husband had a porterhouse. Everything came out fast and hot. This will definitely be our go to steak house when we’re back in the Dallas area.

When I ordered the fillet mignon I was definitely hoping for more. The dish was not very well composed and not really that tasty. Felt a bit like going back to an average restaurant in the 90s.

This is a great restaurant within the West End. Our party of 6 was able to snag a table outside. It was perfect! I’m a vegetarian so my options were limited but the Beyond burger was tasty. I’d recommend the fried pimento cheese balls. Everyone in my party had nothing but good things to say about their meals as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a memorable experience at YO Ranch Steakhouse. Our server Jorge was fantastic and beyond helpful. He gave us some history of the restaurant and a complete rundown of the menu. He knew where the meat was sourced and made us feel at home. We could not have had a better server!! Our food came out quicker than expected but did not disappoint. I had the Pork chop and the blueberry cheesecake. My wife and I shared the mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were among the best we’ve had. I would definitely come back here on future trips to Dallas

Price gouged menu for valentines and food served Luke warm. Changed entire menu to al a carte for Valentine’s.

I was very excited to visit this restaurant- the history, ambiance and lovely friendly staff all sets the tone for a great experience. Steve the manager is attentive. The wine list is a bit disappointing in section. I ordered the mixed grill with collards and mushrooms. Good and bad - collards are best ever, mushrooms were luke warm and came back oily and not good. The filet was super, the chop/cutlet was literally horrible; tough chewy, tasteless and clearly pre cooked as it wasn’t even warm. Bread was not the freshest. The manager sincerely apologized and made it right financially, but their chef needs to read this and stop letting the team down.

Pre-booked (and credit card details) for NY dinner, but got our table 30’ late and standing around the entrance for all that time. No drink on the house (which I do not need at all) just a monotone - I am sorry the earlier guests didn’t go yet. Food at best is average and restaurant got pretty chilly after a while so we put on our jackets. Deserts took ages with excuse “freshly made for you...” yes I believe it for a cheese cake and completely melted sorbet. No idea why so high ratings in TA ... Highly NOT recommended

I can’t say enough about our fabulous dining experience. It was the best of the best our server was superb. I stepped out of my comfort zone and had the Buffalo filet, it was amazing

Attended YO on June 5th with my wife, brother and sister in law. The location was my 70th birthday. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our table, drinks were ordered and the menu provided. Our server (Mike) guided us through the menu so as not to fill ourselves up prior to our steaks (great advice). The food arrived, as expected, tasted amazing, the steaks and vegetables all cooked to perfection. As we were all full from the meal we didn't have room for anything else, but that didn't stop Mike, he presented me with a large slice of the Pecan pie and 4 spoons as he knew we were struggling. It was delicious and just enough to finish the meal off. Then Mike gave me a cast bottle opener to mount on the wall next to my fridge as a birthday present. These people go out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience, well done to everyone involved with the YO, and thanks for the birthday meal I will never forget, top guys.

Good service, excellent food. The trio entree was fantastic. Must try the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Very memorable night with the family.

Everything was good, food was great, old ranch decoration was very pretty, and the service was the best, we had to wait for a few minutes (very much worth it) so my wife and I went to the bar where the bar tender did an amazing job and made great suggestions. My wife asked me to leave a nice tip for the bar tender. We then got our table and were amazed by the food.

Went with a few friends for a late dinner and had the best evening. The staff, in particular our waiter, were incredibly friendly and patient as we stayed after close. The manager even came to greet us as we finished our food, which was thoughtful. The food was delicious, right from the famous steaks to the family style sides. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! It was great value for money, considering the prices of steaks in Dallas, and as we are travelling, we are very glad we splashed out on this occasion. We really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, nice and country with a bit of fine dining! If we ever return to Dallas, will definitely be going again!

This place is so good!!! The Ribeye was amazing! The asparagus was so good! The hostess, bartender, waiter and manager of restaurant were all great! I would def come here again if I’m in town.

Meat, more meat and more meat. What’s not to like? I dined here twice and would highly recommend coming here. Good ambience although I found the service somewhat strained. I would recommend the quail medallions, the steak frites and the mixed grill of elk, venison and buffalo.

Service was excellent. Steaks were nice enough (buffalo and regular filets). Sides were surprisingly terrible - creamed spinach was all cream, bland mushrooms, potato seemed like it had been microwaved. Margaritas were not good either.

Went here with business associates late on a weeknight. It was an easy walk from the Omni, where we were staying. Group was a mix of meat eaters and vegetarians, me being in the latter category. I got the corn soup and the wedge salad (no bacon) and everything was made perfectly. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Everybody loved their food and it was very relaxing after a trying day of travel.

Food was very good. Excellent Atmosphere! The service was good and the owner visited our table and made sure everything was to our liking. We definitely be back for a visit when in Dallas. Thanks for the experience!

Wao wao! This is the most greatest food we taste in our visit in Dallas. The front girl and the waiter are very kindly. We are celebrating mother day and it was the best choice. The waiter serve me a glass of wine and was really assertive with his recommendation. The Bison meat and filet mignon are really good! Mash potatoes, steam Asparagus, and the mac and cheese are very yummy. The cremme Brule was really good. If you are in Dallas you need to visiting.

The meat is excellent. Those who are not meat will also find their happiness. Our server was very friendly and super efficient, made the pitch.

We had a nice evening at YO Steakhouse. The cocktails were good, and there was a big selection of wine. The service was great and we were allowed to change tables from inside to outside between dinner and drinks. The asparagus and creamed spinach were phenomenal!

I'm in Dallas on business and thinking I could find the perfect steak here, I went to the Y.O. Steakhouse. I didn't book, not knowing at the time that I could go. I walk in and the Welcoming is rather cold. I ask if they have a place at the bar not having booked, and they accompany me. I'll sit at the bar. The barman and 'really all altro.che welcoming and kind! He doesn't ask me if I want dinner and they put me in front of booze menus and food menus. They could also have asked especially for alcohol as I do not drink alcohol. I order tap water ,filet mignon 8 OZ medium cooking and spinach. Everything comes quickly, but the size of the fillet and 'seemed reduced. I ask and they confirm that it is 8 OZ . ( strange ) Cooking's down to blood, even though I asked for medium. The bill is 67.11 usd which with tip become 78.11 usd. Value for money, and I put the courtesy, it's bad. The place overall is very nice. To be improved, always for my taste, Service, attention to detail and quality of food Total disappointment

I live very near this restaurant and have visited on several occasions. My most recent visit was quite annoying. I came into the restaurant, wearing my mask (as the sign on the front door requires). I am seated and almost immediately began to be hassled by a couple of guys at a different table, mocking me for wearing a mask. I asked to be seated somewhere else, which was accommodated, but afterwards the server kept yucking it up with this guys. And then after taking some photos, these guys were treated like they were regulars here and had a free pass to antagonize anyone they wanted. They found it very entertaining to harass mask wearers. One of these guys even hassled me after my meal was over as I was leaving the restaurant. These guys were jerks and should not have been allowed to treat fellow customers this way. Only saving grace - the hamburger was good. The time before I visited the restaurant I ordered the steakhouse cobb salad. It was awful. Seriously the worst cut of beef I've ever had at any restaurant, much less a "steakhouse"; along with the "steak" being served cold on the salad. I would have thought, when the server saw the amount of chewed up, spit up, indigestible "steak" spit back on the plate they would have asked me if the meal was good. No. They knew the steak was trash and took it away and gave me the bill. It is seriously like they found the worst cuts of beef in the restaurant and threw it on this salad. So disappointed in this - they were pretty good before on prior occasions, now they are putting Walmart beef, or worse, on their salads, and then serving it ice cold. Can't recommend this place any longer. Not a top notch steakhouse. Like I said, you could do better buying a cheap steak at Walmart and cooking it yourself. And save yourself about $25 in the process.

Great food once again. Stake cooked as requested. Salad was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Food was reasonable priced - good- good Covid spacing - only problem was not our main waiter - but a “funny guy “ helper / waiter came up to take drink ordered and was not wearing mask properly below his mouth the whole time

Quick lunch, Wow, incredible burger! Who needs another place to get a burger.. bit their burger w goat cheese, argula and jam was incredible!

We were visiting from Duluth, MN. Allen M was our server and he was super fantastic!!! We ordered fainting goat burgers and they were the best burgers we’ve ever had!!! I would give this restaurant ten stars if I could!

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the aquarium. Service was professional and prompt. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I had the 6 oz filet mignon with grilled veggies and the gouda mac n cheese-- which was amazing! My husband had the wild game platter, which he was very pleased with. Overall, the food was phenomenal, the establishment was clean and romantic (even for lunch), and it made me wish I lived in Dallas so we could have a return visit.

This place did not disappoint: food, service, and atmosphere are superb. The Stake, the meatloaf, and the dessert were a delicious perfection. The server were polite and professional. Loved the atmosphere. Glad we chose to dine here. Highly recommend!

Great steak...over priced food. All sides are a la carte so picture your $25+ steak then $10 sides...oh and drinks...ok..and dessert. Very expensive meal just to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Waiter was aggressive but attentive. App said they closed at 10 but we walked in at 8:30 they told us very sternly that they close at 9 without us even inquiring. Nice set up, bad experience. Wont go back.

I wish I could rate more than five stars, I had the most wonderful and delicious experience at YO Ranch Steakhouse. Our waiter, Jorge, was so kind and fantastic. He gave us a brief history of the restaurant (by request) and gave a complete rundown of the menu. He knew where the meat came from and was so kind and welcoming, we could not have had a better server. The decorations were so classy and our food came quickly. I had the bison filet, and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. The mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes were the sides we shared, my family of four. Everything was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The shop across the street is also a must stop. It’s in a fantastic area. If you are in Dallas, you must stop here for dinner. Dress nice because it is upscale, but it is so wonderful and my favorite place we have eaten.

A wonderful restaurant. Our Thanksgiving meal was a feast. The Ribeye with Bone Marrow butter was cooked perfectly. The Turkey was excellent as was the Halibut. Desserts were Cranberry Sorbet, Pumpkin Cheesecake and Jack Daniels Pecan pie. Everything was fantastic!

Wanted a proper Texan sized steak and this was the closest to the hotel I could find. Sat at the bar where the barkeep was great. Enjoyed a good beer and ordered the 16oz prime ribeye with a side of collard greens. It came out really fast. Cooked well to my liking (medium rare). The taste was okay, not the best tasting steak. Had to add more seasoning, but it was okay. Definitely not the worst I have had. However the collard greens with bacon were awesome, really good, wish I had more of them. Overall, it was okay. $110 for 1 person to have a steak and 2 beers was a bit pricey. I would go back and try a different cut though next time.

Wow Great steak Beautiful redtaurant and good service. Ac made my food go cold too fast. I had the sirloin it was really nice My wife had fillet and it was very tender. Classy place $150 2 steaks New Zealand white white Plus $20 tip

Our first visit to Dallas all we wanted was a good steak and Y.O.Ranch Steak House Did Not disappoint. Joelh was magnificent he gave us a tour and made fabulous drinks our steak was amazingly delicious.great place for Joanne’s birthday. Joelh brought out a delicious birthday dessert. We would recommend YO Steak House to all . Thank you everyone for being so kind.

Just like the title said. I would recommend the buffalo steak. It was great. The environment was such that we could talk amongst ourselves as well. While the asparagus was huge, it did lack some flavor. Service was great!

We had lunch at YO restaurant while on holiday in Dallas. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly. Best beef I have tasted for a while. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall 5 star experience. Thank you

Decided to try a Bison Filet Mignon to see how it compares to a Cow. Wow! Very impressed! Great flavor. Extremely tender. I really could not tell a difference between Buffalo and Cow. Intuitively, after having buffalo burgers, I would have thought the steak would be noticeably different. It wasn't. I'm glad I took a small risk and tried it, because, basically, it was delicious. This Chef does an excellent job preparing the steak. And I highly recommend it. Cheers!

Great service and excellent meal. I had fillet steak, my husband had the buffalo steak. Both were cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. The waiter suggested a few items from the menu and was spot on with his recommendations.

In town for a meeting, we had a small group in need of dinner plans. Our hotel concierge recommended YO Ranch Steakhouse. Always a concern is the availability of options for vegan or vegetarian diners in our party - especially with steakhouses! Thankfully, YO Ranch had great vegetarian options including Beyond Meat burgers, a variety of a la carte vegetables (highly recommend the portobello mushrooms), and more. Our table ordered a variety of mixed drinks all of which were favorably appreciated. Our server, who was very kind and attentive to our table, adding an additional table so that we would have ample space available. Prices were reasonable, and the decor and ambience was friendly and warm.

The restaurant is attractive and in a good location. It was clean and neat. Everyone is beyond friendly. They were all attentive to our celebration of 55 years of marriage. Our wait person was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent. I had a filet and it was cooked to perfection. The ambience was upscale but comfortable. We enjoyed our time there and will return and recommend it.

Classic Texas restaurant with great steaks and Buffalo. Dishes are served a la carte and we snagged the asparagus. I selected rare buffalo steak that did not disappoint. We ate at the bar and the place filled quickly with reservation guests. At first it looks like an intimate setting, but it gets pretty loud with the large party tables combined with the vaulted ceilings.

Of course you have to have steak in Texas and came here based on reviews. Our steak was cooked perfectly however the carrots and beans on our plates were cold - very odd. Also our server was not very familiar with gluten free. Apart from that our server was great. Atmosphere was fun.

Hands down the best ribeye we’ve ever had. It was amazingly cooked. The website had us a little worried that it might be to “uppity” but though we were on the casual side of things we felt welcome and important.

Our server was excellent. He even helped up with local attractions! Our food was the most amazing of the trip. We picked it based on wanting to cry the corn bisque and it did not disappoint! Our server split our wedge salad. Fresh. Not bitter! Bleu dressing tasted homemade. The venison bites were cooked to perfection! Not gamey!! The fried pimento cheese balls were also a great treat. I recommend Aunt Eileen’s Cocktail. Nice balance of sweet and tang.

Spend the money and find out what the hype is about for their 32 oz Porterhouse. Be sure to top it with the bone marrow butter because it truly makes a difference. I’d never tried the bone marrow butter but I’m so glad I took the waiter’s advice on that. The flavors aren’t comparable to any other experience, so be prepared to have a flavor palate symphony. From the service to the last bite, I enjoyed everything. The cheesecake was better than their bread pudding but I didn’t go there for the dessert. It’s their meats that wowed me.

On Valentine’s Day of 2022 we went to the Dallas location and the 1st time experience was horrible !

We opted for some takeout food last night, which was a good choice considering many people were being turned away from this restaurant (for whatever reason). A very small bowl of takeout chili was a 25-minute wait — which literally meant someone had to take a ladle and scoop the liquid into a plastic container. The chili was pretty good, nothing special, very meaty (no-beans-style), and came with several packages of saltines. Fortunately we had our own garlic cheddar biscuits from a local Czech bakery. I’m sure this is a great place, but that long wait for a small cup of lukewarm chili was outrageous.

Good steak, great venison appetizers, excellent service. My only complaint, as a person who often dine alone, I would have prefer they have a half portion of sides for slightly over high price option. I was at Del Frisco few moth before they were happy to accommodate me. It wasn't even about the money, I just ordered a full portion starter, a whole steak, I didn't need half a pound of green beans. Waste of food

In town for Duran Duran concert with friends, picked this restaurant from memories in the past. If he is working, you need to get Jorge B for your server. He is wonderful. Hispanic gentleman with a thick accent, however he made you fell you were at a resort, funny, hospitable, patient, and a wonderful personality. Started off with Louie's venison rollups and pimento cheese bites, melt in your mouth. Wife had YO house salad which was robust, we shared the infamous Buffalo Filet Mignon, perfectly seasoned, cooked medium, delicious, and memorable. side items were whipped potatoes and finished with a mushroom demi glaze. Over the top experience, service, and ambience. Don't forget to ask for Jorge, his smile, accent, and laughter can fill the room with awesomeness.

Perfect steaks with the best roasted bone marrow butter! I was happy and my friends started talking about a religious experience. Very cozy interior! Recommends!

My friend and I sat at the bar and were immediately made to feel welcome and special by the bartender (sorry I don't recall his name) and Arthur Young a patron. They kept us entertained and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at YO Steakhouse. My TITO's dirty martini was so good I had 2. It was recommended we try the Antelope Carpaccio. So glad we did! UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS. Then I had a bison filet and my friend had Filet Mignon. Also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is on the pricier side, worth every. single. penny. And don't forget to check out the decor. I may have to go visit Dallas just to experience this again !!! Arthur Young is a gem.

Very friendly, professional staff. Dinner are delicious and the environment as well. We have had both lunch and dinner here and both weee excellent!’

Popped in for a quick bite on a solo visit. Great atmosphere and service is top notch even considering I was there for a sandwich. Speaking of food , their chicken sandwich is amazing and you can taste fresh ingredients in every bite.

Great experience. Shout out to Cedrick, who is in training. Great personality that made the experience even better! The steaks were great, the salmon was a big portion and delicious, and the mashed potatoes were dynamite.

Everything was seamless. From planning the event for 32 guests, to the execution on the day of. The private room was awsome! Provided us with a real Texas experience, and was great for our group to be able to mingle! The food was great! But what made it a truly amazing evening was the Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse staff, who were so nice, welcoming, and attentive to every details. We were very well taken care of! We had a beautiful, perfect, evening! Tack! (that’s thank you in Swedish)

This was hands down the best steakhouse I have ever been too. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. the Smoke Gouda Mac and cheese is a must try.

Excellent ambiance and meal. Server was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. All appetizers and entrees were delicious, served quickly and prepared as ordered. Real feel of a South West Steakhouse.

Well reviewed and highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. The buffalo tenderloin was exquisite. It was my dad's birthday and the staff was very attentive and helpful. I've been in several times, and they are always updating the menu with new creations, especially on the appetizer side. Still, I always seem to order the buffalo! A great dining experience, very attentive waitstaff, and rustic yet elegant atmosphere.

I came here because it was open in the afternoon and I had not yet tried it. The staff was nice but they were not very attentive. The sides were okay. The steak was seasoned well but the quality of the cut was pretty cheap and very stringy. Too many better places to choose from, going to mark this one off the list.

Holy cow, serious. Holy cow!!! From the bar to the meal to dessert. Holy cow! My Negronis at the bar before our full group joined, wow. Once we gathered for the large party. Ordered table of amazing apps, wines. Our main meals were huge, hot, awesome flavors. Server for the night, was equally amazing. This is definately a must go if in the area. Holy cow!

Based on many reviews Iade reservations at YO Steakhouse. Parking was easy to find. There was a convenient lot behind the building. Although we arrived a little early our table was available. The decor is a charming array of Texas memorabilia. Our waiter was friendly, informative and efficient. The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered the quail appetizer that nearly melted in your mouth. We could have ordered several more servings and called it a night but we had more wonderfully prepared dishes to go. Hubby had corn chowder. I was lucky to get a taste and I can confirm it was delightful. I ordered the house salad which was very good as well. He had the ribeye and I had the filet. Both of us requested the bone marrow butter. It was honestly the best steak I've ever had and that's saying alot. We ordered 2 sides that could definitely feed more than the two of us, creamed spinach and smashed potatoes. I enjoyed Vina Robles cabernet with my dinner. We ended with pecan pie and blueberry cobbler cheesecake. My only regret is that we were only in Dallas a few days. Otherwise we would have made another visit. Thanks to YO Steakhouse for a wonderful evening!

This place is a very nice steakhouse!! Bone in fillet was one of the best I ever eat!! You have to get the bone marrow butter!! Service and food both 5 stars!!

Great experience, I would definitely go again. I made reservations and arrived to a friendly hostess that provided great seating for me. My waiter was amazing. He was attentive and I am grateful for his recommendation of the mac n cheese side dish. My steak was perfectly prepared, seasoned well and delicious. The bread literally melts in your mouth. The atmosphere was nice and a bit more casual than I expected. Service was great. Food was awesome.

YO Ranch Steakhouse is one of our fave restaurants. The service is impeccable and the food beyond delicious. And what’s great is the overall atmosphere, you can actually have a great dinner experience it’s not too noisy and cramped like some other steakhouses are. We’ve been here several times especially when we’re celebrating a special occasion, and I always try their chefs special wild game, and it’s always super delicious. Definitely worth every dollar spent and then some.

My husband and I dined here for dinner ro celebrate both my husband's birthday and our upcoming 20 year wedding anniversary. Our waiter was friendly, informative and attentive, and our food was absolutely delicious!! We were surprised with complimentary desserts in honor of our celebrations. We will definitely return!

Hotel recommendations, was given a 10 percent off card. Food was exceptional, service was good. Loved the decor, pricing is very high. Expect to pay for sides separately.

I chose to eat at the bar at YO Ranch Steakhouse. My server/bartender was amazing. He checked on my constantly, not with words but by looking, if that makes sense. “Drinks full? He’s still eating? Then I don’t need to bother him.” It was like he had sixth sense on how to serve me. He was arguably the best server/bartender I’ve ever had. And that’s before we talk about the food!!! I bucked up and had the bone-in filet mignon. And whoa! I’m not sure I was ready to have the type of culinary expedition they took me on. It was succulent and flavorful and perfect. If you’re in or near downtown Dallas, shame on you if you don’t try YO Ranch. Get a reservation for a table but solo, i would say you can buck up to the bar.

We ate here prior to a concert recently and it was a very pleasant experience. The salad was delicious and the filet mignon was juicy and tender. Management checked on us to make sure everything was up to par. I would recommend it!

The Texas Chili was wonderful. Went on a food tour and heard all about the place and history. The decor is amazing.

Food excellent..omg the banana pudding .. Try Tuesday special...fried chicken Never had better The server was knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions

Great stakes . Very knowledgeable staff with a lot of option . Overall would recommend with no doubt .

I am reviewing 44 steaks ordered from online from their farm fresh tender thick their 20oz steak is actually 20ozs the steaks are almost sinful they are so delicious I barbeque my steaks and its like heaven they give you what you expect and exactly what you ordered unlike Colorado craft beef farm their beef has to be genetically modified I cooked a roast from Colorado craft beef it turned to mush avoid them at all cost but you will never be dissatisfied with 44 steaks beef in Texas I am in love with their beef.

We decided to take a quick overnight trip to Dallas. Found this restaurant online and we are so glad we did. We were very pleased with the service and the food was awesome. I had the smoked half chicken and it was one of the best I’ve ever had.

They didn’t accept my SERVICE DOG!!! A NIGHTMARE!!! The first time in my life!!!! I need of my service dog for my life!!!!!

Cold food, undercooked meat, dissenting waiter's attitude, threw a dessert on top of a table guest, didn't even apologize. The manager appeared to ask if everything was okay??!! What a nerve.

Horrible, over priced meat. We were placed in a back room with humming lights. We asked for another table and they still sat us in a bad room off of it even though there were plenty of tables in the main room. And we had reservations. Our waiter tripped over the wooden floor and was very inexperienced. Stay away from this place!

My wife and I found this place a little by accident. We were looking for a lunch place in the neighborhood and this looks like a nice stop. We had lunch and it was very good so we thought we should come back for dinner sometime. We had dinner there last night and it was outstanding. I had the elk tenderloin and it was pretty fantastic. The selection of cocktails and atmosphere further ad to an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice quiet meal.

Enjoyed this Steakhouse that seems to offer a good midrange price point and experience in a veritable sea of expensive top shelf establishments. Don't let that put you off though. We found the service to be fast efficient and friendly especially our bartender. The atmosphere does give a house on a ranching vibe. The steak a 16 Oz ribeye was absolutely fabulous with a perfectly done seared crust and temped inside just right at medium rare. The sides and bread especially were a little lackluster, very simply prepared and presented.

Pistachio crusted chicken was to die for and the veges were excellent. Mashed potatoes were just okay but because everything else was so good I wouldn’t dare lower my rating. We also had the venison medallions to start and they were fantastic. Also would suggest the spicy margarita.

Buffalo steak was great and so were the kids meals but they charge extra for everything like sauce and mac n cheese even though it listed as an option on the menu. Nice for a one off but wouldn’t go back.

There is no steakhouse in Texas as good as this one. Great atmosphere, attentive service and the steaks, wild game and deserts are the best in the West! Additionally, the Venison Roll Ups appetizers are number one in my book

Great food/great service/great dining experience. Alex was a great server. Atmosphere terrific. Would go again tonight!!

YO was so delicious! The best thing about this steakhouse is it has some wild game items on the menu that aren’t on a traditional steakhouse menu, while still having all the traditional steakhouse choices you’re accustomed to. We went with people in their 40s, 60s, and 70s. All of us enjoyed some favorites and some new things. Highlights were the venison roll ups, our steaks, and the pecan pie. We did have an issue with my aunts steak being over cooked but the team at YO immediately admitted the error (it was not what she ordered), apologized, and fixed it. Everyone left happy and full!

Excellent food. Typical salad was anything but typical. Highly recommend the Fainting Goat burger. Lean meat but exceptional taste. Definitely worth the visit. I hear that soon to occur will be lunch specials offered. Also did someone say Banana Pudding? yum

Had an excellent Texas-style dinner with coworkers while at a conference. Had the Chicken Fried Lobster and also the Brussel Sprouts. Food was fresh, tasty and well prepared. Service was excellent. Liked the decor and was a perfect Texas experience. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Dallas experience! Delicious food, great "Texan" atmosphere with locally sourced beef. Highly recommend this establishment for fine food and drinks. A little on the pricey side but worth every penny.

My husband had the ribeye and I had a burger (yes I am very boring). He loved the ribeye. It was a bit pricey than our normal night out but wasn’t completely off the Mark given quality and size of portions. My burger had great flavor so I was happy. We made a reservation but they were accepting walk-ins also.

Highly recommended by hotel concierge. Kept waiting nearly 40 mins even though we had a reservation. Front of house staff ambivalent. When we were finally seated it was in an annexe off the main restaurant with little atmosphere. Steaks were ok , sides were average as was the service. After such high hopes we were all disappointed

We booked late so got a 9.15pm booking. No problem with that but the waiter failed to inform us that the bar was closing at 10.30pm. Food was very good and service also very good.

Good steakhouse with excellent reasonable value starters and steaks. Service a little hap hazard. The young girl seater needs to be taught how to engage with customers and give the impression she actually wants to be there, a smile might help Not located in the best part of town a lot of homeless people who approach upon exit from the restaurant waiting for a cab. Might be quite intimidating for some as you have to be quite forceful to get rid of them and some become abusive

The filet was prepared perfectly. They pared it with a wonderful Malbec. Delish. My wife got the salmon which she very much enjoyed. I thought it was a bit fishy, but that's just me. Service was very friendly and it was not a chain!! I loved the steak.

Perfect! We felt very comfortable, and the food and service were great. We were there January 6th, and downtown Dallas was early slow! That being said our dinner was great and service was awesome.

Good restaurant overall, professional service and very typical Texan place. We have price a filet mignon that was excellent with good cooking. What we don’t have is ceasar salad, it wasn’t fresh at all. We pointed this out to the waiter and he nodded. Good experience but there is so much good Steakhouse that we will not go back.

I had high hopes. The place was dark, tribe, and kind of messy. It felt dirty. The food was below average. I had better steaks at Texas roadhouse. Local warned me that I would, but I trusted TripAdvisor. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Well, when we are in Dallas we would not go anywhere else. Everything is superb! If you get a chance ask for Marcos, he is a true professional. Be sure to arrive early and have a drink at the beautiful bar. There is a reason this place has been there forever.

Unless you plan to wear a pantsuit I do not recommend. Dress code is absolutely absurd! Restaurant was so empty and would not seat us for wearing NORMAL outfits! We cannot control to be a woman with breasts! DISGUSTING

Group of 20 co-workers on a weeknight. I was expecting Texas Roadhouse prices and was very surprised at high the high price. N.Y. Strip was very tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. My bill was over $100 with 2 drinks (way over my per diem). Wait staff was pressed with our group but delivered. Probably will not return here next time in Dallas.

Great restaurant with very good quality food. I would especially like to thank Joel for the great service at the bar. Definitely a recommender in Dallas Downtown.

Steaks were precisely as ordered, and sides very good. Note the steaks come with some veggies not mentioned on menu, so you might need fewer sides than you think😁. Key Lime was tasty.

We went on a Monday night and it was packed! It was our first time to Dallas and I felt like it was a more authentic experience - they have their own cattle ranch! We had the pimento cheese fritters, burrata, filets and accompaniments. Bradley took such good care of us and I know he was busy! The ambiance was great and really had us feeling like we were in a beautiful Texas lodge. 10/10

Took my husband here for a nice dinner for his birthday. They put us in a back room next to a big wedding party (very loud) rather than the main dining room which was lovely and plenty of open tables. When I asked why they said they needed to make sure the waiter for that room had tables as well. We spent over $300 for a birthday dinner that was extremely disappointing. Food was mediocre, waiter was wonderful, management needs improvement. We won’t ever go back. Too many nice places to pick from in Dallas.

The restaurant decor is not a bit tacky and “simple” for my taste. The buffalo steak was very good as where the side dishes but I would not rate it as one of the best. If your first visit go for the game steals they are a guarantee.

This place is first class and relaxed at the same time. Our server was outstanding and made great recommendations. I typically don’t order steak at restaurants anymore as I find it’s difficult to get the proper cook. Not here. They nailed it on medium rare and for sure the most tender beef I have ever had. We tried the chicken fried oysters to start - spicy little kick to them which we like so if you like bold flavors go for it. They are also family friendly with a kids menu. Highly recommend and because we don’t live in the area we really hope we get a chance to go back one day.

The food was excellent and the service was great. The server was very knowledgeable about their menu and was able to enhance our food by recommending a sauce.

One of the questions trip adviser almost always ask me is, can a vegan get a good meal here? The answer is an emphatic yes! On the menu are two different vegan options. I tried the vegan meatloaf. I had a bunch of other people taste it. No one could believe that it was not meat!!! It was moist, full of flavor, the texture seemed like real meat. They serve great salad la and soup options as well. Nice priced wine by the cup menu. You can read about all the meat options in other reviews. I want to make sure that you think about this restaurant to surprise any vegetarians or vegans you know. They will love you. Thank you management!

We went during an off hour after our JFK tour around 2:30 on a Friday with no reservations. We were seated immediately. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was excellent! I had a ribeye steak which I like medium rare. Many places I have tried most likely end up cooking it to medium. My steak was perfect! My husband loves pork chops he said they were the best he has ever had. We would go back just for the pork chops. The mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables were seasoned perfectly and delicious. We thought the prices were very good for the type of food we were having. Next time we are in the Dallas area we would go again.

Being there on Sunday evening at 8:55 pm. Both google and trip advisor advertised the the business was closing at 10:00 pm. We were bounced by the check-in guy which stated the business closed at 9:00. We arrived before then that and have to wait for somebody to tend on us anyway. Don’t know what to think about what happened ... I’ve never seen in my life any restaurant bouncing people one hour before the advertised closing time.

The food was a literal chef’s kiss. I enjoyed the chicken fried lobster. Oooeee! Delicious! Our server was on point with his attentiveness and friendliness. This was a terrific, authentic Dallas longhorn steakhouse experience!

I recommend the Corn Chowder, The Ancho Chilli Rubbed Salmon, and the Stuffed Filet Mignon. The Soul Belly appetizer was good also!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for our anniversary of bison and fillet along with crispy Nashville hot fried oysters, and pimento cheese appetizers. The bread, pudding and pecan pie were outstanding for dessert too. We enjoyed a superb server named Carlos!
Birthday Dinner
I've eaten at alot of steak houses but YO Steakhouse is the BEST by far! The 6 oz. filet was cooked perfectly, the mushrooms and asparagus were delicious. We were there for a birthday celebration and Marcos Ruiz made us feel so special and cared for! The birthday girl received a card, a gift, and a phenomenal complimentary desert. The cocktails were perfectly made with a great pour that topped off the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is easy on the eyes and I appreciated there was a dress code. This is a great restaurant to relax, enjoy a phenomenal meal, meet great staff and know you will be back. Maybe I'll see you there next time!
