I visited Yama Sushi with my son. I ordered my regular California Rolls, then I learned I could have half orders. I was soon trying all sorts of sushi; sushi with eel, sushi with avocado and Philly sushi among others with my raspberry tea. I could have ordered "all you can eat" but at the time I was not sure I had such a big appetite. The staff greeted us as if we were part of the family. They made sure our time spent there was pleasant and our service was fantastic. The food is made to order...very fresh. Every chance I get, I return.

There are multiple locations for this restaurant. This time we visited the location in Chinatown...... Of course is way better and cheaper than any buffett on the strip. Their sushi is great, different varieties and kind of imaginative choices...... I cannot wait to visit again!!!!

We got recommendation From friends to try this restaurant. When we got there we were scared by the exterior look of the restaurant and the "all you can eat" sign. How good the quantity can be if it is all you can eat? We wondered. Boy were we surprised once the food came. All are.made to order. You can keep ordering but you must finish what you have first. I think it is a great idea not to waste food. Excellent quality and the price is very reasonable.

After an hour of searching for sushi place I found this spot and to be unset this place is very very good and packed on weekdays!!! All you can eat sushi but you must finish it all or you will be charged for left overs! Waitstaff a little to busy so the services was a little slow! Overall great experience!

Do yourself a favor: take an Uber and go to Yama's. The restaurant is packed but the waiting time (went with family of 5) is small around 7pm through the week. Authentic food, all you can eat, clean and very tasty, especially with the price in mind. Great choice of sakes. Other reviewer mentioned it was warm but they apparently fixed the AC: climate was fine. Absolutely a better deal and way better food than the buffets you get at the strip.

I'm very picky about where I eat my sushi and hearing about an all you can eat place I was a little skeptical..... however this place exceeded my expirations. You have a huge selection of nigiri and rolls and apps to choose from. I sat at the sushi bar and the service was fast! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes sushi.

The all-you-can-eat is great! We kept ordering and it all came fresh. We love their huge variety of sushi rolls.

Wow.... all we can say is wow. For $24 per person you can eat all of the sushi you want. Not a buffet!! Handmade rolls that you request of the extensive menu. We ate so many different rolls we were stuffed. This is a must eat while in town. We took an $8 ride Uber off the strip to come here.

This is not only the best sushi I have ever had but it also one of the best meals I ever ate. There is a huge assortment of things on the menu and all of them are made to order. This is not your typical buffet where you are waiting in line while everyone else picks over the good rolls, this is a top notch chef making your food while you wait. If you love sushi, go here. You will not be disappointed.

I was here by my self during a trip through LV. Very delicious and freshly made Sushi. I recommend the all you can eat buffet. Only $26 and very well worth it. I haven't eaten so tasty Sushis before. Thumbs up!! Friendly and a good atmosphere.

This is one of my favorites for AYCE sushi when I come to Vegas. The location is approximately 20 mins away from The Strip if you are staying at the Bellagio and factoring in the long length of the signal lights. Recommend that you show up when they open. Pieces without beverages is around $24/per person. I have been here on several occasions and they have always been consistent.

I could not believe how many choices there were. And we chose the all-you -can eat for one price each. It was sooo hard to choose!!! But both of the plates I got were very, very good. We all ordered different items and all were great. We went for lunch, and it was a bit busy.....but the staff is very friendly and personable. They will help w choices and make great suggestions. Try this place.....it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the sushi is the BEST.....the ice cream desserts are yummy too. You won't regret it.!!!

This is our annual Thursday night of Shot Show dinner. Over the years it has grown. This time we were rolling 30 deep! Have tried damn near everything they make and I love this place!

If you love sushi you'l enjoy their all you can eat option at $ 24.00 - SUPERB: great quality, variety, freshness and taste. More fun if you eat at the counter as you can talk to the books that make your sushi in front of you. Great Japanese draft beers and very good green tea ice cream for desert. Might find a line, but really worth waiting.

My cousin took me here on a whim while I was in town. Quite a nice surprise! Have me a new appreciation of the culinary scene in Vegas. The fish and chips (yes - that is the correct name) are a must try. Two people all you can eat for a total of 52 bucks. Outstanding value.

We actually discovered YAMA 2 which is on Spring Mountain Road and it was 100% more space and ambience than the original one on Flamingo. Seems like not many people knew about this new location so the line waiting was not as crazy. The best part was the food was even better prepared and presented and it was very comfortable to stay and enjoy the food rather than the cramped quarters in the old place. For the price and great sushi, it is very hard to beat especially in this town where a simple draft beer can cost $10 on the STRIP. Look it up.

One of the best places eat sushi. If you are in town, don't miss the opportunity and visit the place. They offer an all you can eat special. Call or Google the times when they offer the special. The food is prepare the moment you order it, in front of you, so it is always fresh. They serve a very delicious Strawberry Nigori, it's an alcoholic beverage, really delicious. I haven't found it anywhere else. Its outside the strip, so it's really quiet.

First time on recommendation of my friend. All you can it. Though be warned if you don't finish everything you order (and you can order as much as you want) you cannot claim the all you can eat price of $24.00. You will be charged for all that you ordered. Ok so I was aware of that. And orders were delicious, as were the rolls. Mostly on time though a couple of orders were way too late. All in all great value, off the strip but worth it! Highly recommended.

Outstanding place for sushi! Great price and quality for "all you can eat" with a huge assortment--included almost everything on the menu. The restaurant was very crowded, but service the service was very prompt and attentive. The only negative was the noise level. They should turn off the blaring overhead speaker with techno music. Despite the noise, I highly recommend this place for sushi while you are visiting Vegas. It's in a local area pretty far off the strip, but definitely worth the drive!

I came for lunch and ordered a variety of sushi and cooked food. Interestingly, I thought the sushi was ok, and actually enjoyed the cooked selection a bit better, like hamachi Kama (cheek). The green tea mochi came completely frozen, however. I also tried another Yama location (Spring mountain) and found this location to be better, cleaner (didn’t have sticky floors) and more pleasant.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Vagas and I have actually visited several times. There is a little bit distance from the Strip but it's worth it.

This place will be on my favorite list for when I'm in Las Vegas. Let me start with all you can eat. The best ! Really tasty sushi. No waiting ! Good quick service. Well with the 7.00 uber ride from the strip. The staff had great personality. I give this place a two thumbs up. This place is top of the list for where do we go for dinner.

I have been wanting to try Yama Sushi for several years, but usual travel companion (husband) refused to go with me. A friend and I ate there a few nights ago, and we both loved it (and she does not eat raw fish). We both chose the AYCE option, which includes not only sushi but also seaweed (and other) salad, plain or fried rice, miso soup, appetizers, a large variety of rolls, some cooked entrees (e.g., beef teriyaki), and dessert (mochi, ice cream). Patrons can--and should--order half rolls (of some items) in order to be able to sample more things. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely return whenever I am in Las Vegas.

Thru TripAdvisor I had been aware of this smart sushi temple and I was really surprised, how excellent the crew made the colorful collection of sushi and sashimi. Top quality for a decent price in a friendly atmosphere. Go ahead, guys!

Love this place. I always sit at the Sushi bar and the Sushi Masters are always entertaining and quick with service. Got to love the Sushi names and how yummy they are.

The restaurant offer great variations of sushi, most of them are Americanized. I really like nigiri sushi. Unlike other buffet restaurants that sushi comes with big chunk of rice, Yama sushis are just like when you order a la cart. Fish was really fresh. I would recommend nigiri sushi over rolls. Waitresses are also friendly. If we have a chance to come to Las Vegas again, we will definitely make another visit.

normally the sushi jn all you can eats is not good. Here it is freshly made, tastes great, and is rapidly brought at the table. What more you can wish for?!?

The sushi here is good, decent selection, and considering the location it's likely a favorite not just for locals but for tourists as well. If you like sushi, definitely try this place!

All you can eat sushi and appetizers. This is a crazy good deal for some excellent food! I wish I had one closer to me.

Very popular place with almost always a waiting line. the service is very good and friendly. We ate at the bar and watch the Sushia-san prepare all the sushi in front of you, very fast and with and an interesting rhythm. He is not Japanese though he looked like he was well trained. He spoke Spanish with his colleagues. The quality of the sushi is average.

I have to admit, I'm used to fairly average to below average sushi, so the fact that you can get more than two types of fish here is a big deal, but I loved it. I recommend going for the all you can eat option if you plan to get multiple rolls, and try to go on a weekday or at an off time because otherwise you'll probably have to wait for a while before you're seated. The servers are a little disorganized because I don't think they each have set tables to serve, so sometimes you have to let them know you've already placed an order, and it can be a bit loud but none of that is too serious of an issue

We have taken many different friends and family to this restaurant. A little small in size because it is always busy. But the sushi is well worth it some of the best we've ever eaten and they have an all-you-can-eat option.

It it either all you can eat or a la carte. We took all you can eat end came back the day after. The rolls were excellent. we tried several of the special roos and the gioza - all were very tasty

went based on article featured in local paper, were seated at lunch immediately and had what seemed like 100 choices of sushi on the menu, all you can eat for an amazingly low price -will definitely return, with friends! also lucked out with the 2-for-1 Kirin beer special on a Wednesday. service was great, with good explanations of the menu, and the sushi dishes were well presented and very tasty -great choice!

It’s off the strip, worth the short drive. It’s the best that I’ve had in Las Vegas! The service was superb & the sushi was delicious! We will go again on our last night! ❤️❤️❤️

Great quality, sushi really good ,great service and really affordable price , been there 3 times and enjoy the food ,atmosphère too

Beside the delicious food, the highlight of it all was the service. Ask for the Fish and Chips salmon roll!!!!! Perfect!!!!!!

Very popular for lunch and dinner with locals and tourists alike. About $20/adult for AYCE sushi lunch and $25/adult for dinner. Or, you can order off the menu if you'd like a smaller meal. Service and staff pretty efficient. Please be considerate. Don't order more than you'll eat and waste it. This will cause the restaurant to raise their prices to cover the food thrown away.

I go there about twice every 2 months and I'll be going tonight again. Just <3 it, Clean, the service is GREAT and the food as well. Fresh sea food at affordable prices. Eat tons of ginger and some hot tea at the end of your meal so the rice doesn't get you fat and full. Hope this review make you choose this Affordable All you can eat Sushi Buffet. Remember, there are a lot of trolls that are deplorable haters and will give a bad reputation to any of their competitors. Give this a try if you like sushi like I do and judge for yourself. Have a good one. I'm a Alternative Doctor and I recommend the place.

I love it when I find a good all you can eat sushi restaurant and Yama Sushi on Flamingo is definitely a place I’ll visit again. The sushi was freshly made to order and there was a wide selection of traditional sushi as well as many imaginative rolls to choose from. We ate until we were totally satisfied and didn’t have one selection we wouldn’t order again. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but hey, we weren’t there for the atmosphere, we were there to gorge on great sushi served with great service. This is definitely a must-visit at a bargain price in Vegas!

Went for lunch for my husband’s birthday & did the AYCE- can’t beat the price for what you get. Huge selection & everything was fresh. Service was great & beers were cold! Highly recommend.

After reading the great reviews, I decided to give Yama Sushi a try. When I arrived I was surprised at how run down and dirty the restaurant looked. I had concerns about eating there at that point but I thought that 400+ positive reviews on Trip Advisor couldn't be wrong. I can tell you that these reviews are completely wrong. The sushi was average at best. The all you can eat idea was great and $20 sounded like a bargain. Some of the sushi tasted a little off in the seafood salad so I didn't finish it but everything else seemed ok. About 2 hours after eating, my skin started flushing and my stomach started hurting. I had to take some Benadryl and proceeded to spend my only free day in Vegas in my hotel bathroom. According to The Cleveland Clinic, I had a type of food poisoning that was specific to tuna or mackerel that had been kept at warm temperatures for too long. You get what you pay for. Stay away from cheap sushi places like Yama Sushi.

Went to Yama Sushi for lunch and the service and food were excellent. Our orders were taken in person and no writing down on a scratch pad like other AYCE restaurants. Their rolls were very good however the Tempura shrimp was a bit on the mushy side. Also the fish to rice ratio was just OK but overall it was a great dining experience.

I was told this spot was very good and i thought the sushi was excellent. Unfortunately my family member never got her food even after telling a manager she never got it.

Hot appetizers were very good. Sushi not so much. I was not a fan of the eel sauce which seems to be on quite a few sushi plates. The sauce seems to be made with a base of dark soy which gives it an odd flavor. The service was excellent though. You are not assigned any one waiter or waitress. The staff works together which made service very quick. There are a few items that are limited to one order per person (soft shell crab excellent as an appetizer), halibut collar (very good). Soft shell crab in sushi rolls were way over cooked.

Been there for 1st time by raccomandation and wooow fantastic. 25usd all you can eat for dinner and everything was excellent! My mom is Japanese so tried miso soup, Gyoza and was good as my mom's food. Sushi and sashimi fresh and tasty. No reservation requieres so we waited like 20 mins. Absolutely fantastic We will be back

Yama has a location on the strip, but apparently this one is more a local joint. The AYCE ($23.95 for supper) includes everything on the menu, including lots of nigiri options (I counted 6 tuna) hamachi, whole soft-shell crab (!!) and some really inventive rolls. You can even get half-rolls so you can try more things. Don’t miss the mochi for dessert too!

Was given a recommendation by resort staff member to try the “all you can eat sushi” at the Yama Sushi restaurant. Had planned Togo to a small seafood restaurant nearby but missed a turn and ended up near Yama Sushi. We were pleasantly surprised but he menu selection and fresh delicious food we were served. Definitely on my to do again list next visit to Las Vegas.

Small restaurant with high with very high quality sushi and diverse menu. Service could be a bit improved.

I love this spot I love this food I used to come here all the time but have moved away everytime I visit now (every couple of months) I ALWAYS STOP BY AND GET MY FILL

While the price was very affordable, sushi is subpar, and the restaurant needs to be cleaner. Look at the walls, table dividers, anything and everything for stains, splashes, food debris. If what you can see in front is dirty imagine the food prep areas in the back you can’t see. Also there is a time limit on all you can eat and extra charges if you don’t finish all you order. So you better eat it all no matter how bad it is. Also it smelled like a mixture of rancid frying grease meets burnt hair.

We enjoyed the restaurant. It is a hidden gem in a strip mall. The price for “all you can eat” sushi was excellent. It was about $50 for two of us, only 1.5 miles from the strip. For $50 on the strip, I can almost get two drinks a piece. The sushi was fresh and the service was great. We had multiple waiters come by and ask if we wanted more even before we were ready to order. Initially I was disappointed that they did not offer sashimi, but when we got the Nigiri the ratio of fish to nice was the best I have ever seen. It was packed with locals and there was a 5-10 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon.

This is a great all you can eat sushi deal. Beer prices are good, the fish is fresh and tastes great. Service is great and food comes out as fast as you can eat it.. If you like sushi this is a definite stop while in Vegas.

MY wife"s roll was rather bland and on the small side. Modern, high volume restaurant was good for lunch. Service was efficient but not warm or welcoming. Most of the rolls we had were good but I don't feel a need or desire to return.

A nice ayce sushi place in Las Vegas. I tried several special rolls and their green tea ice cream. It was amazing and great value.

This is the living proof that no one should judge a book by its cover. This is an all you can eat restaurant that is located in an ugly stip mall but has a superb food. We spent 1 week in Las Vegas and visited a buffet every day. We went to this one twice and could easily have gone back a third time. The quality of the food is amazing. Highly recommended.

I recently dined here in a group of 5. It's a small restaurant just a short uber/cab ride away from the Vegas strip. We all ordered the all you can eat sushi and shared items among the table. Don't be scared away by "all you can eat". It really is very good! The all you can eat consists of an extensive list of rolls and sushi. Keep in mind that you will be charged extra if you don't eat what you order, but you can keep continually ordering small amounts at a time. Absolutely everything was excellent. I have eaten at many sushi restaurants and felt this is very good quality. Yes, I have eaten at restaurants with slightly better flavor but they were also 8 times the price. At less than $25 for delicious sushi, great variety, and good service - this place can't be beat! I would definitely return!

Yama Sushi for a double date. The location is in a strip mall near an Albertsons. It was not a fancy location. So if you are looking for a place to dress up for dinner out, this place is NOT that. We opted for the AYCE option which was fine. Once you order 2 rolls per person you break even. If you plan to eat a lot, then the AYCE option is good. Decent sushi and a good price. Location is easy to find and has lots of parking. It is a very casual atmosphere.

I was skeptical since they have an all you can eat option. But was I surprised. It was as good as any sushi I've ever had. Everything is made to order as you order. Other than the all you can eat option, it doesn't feel any different than any quality sushi restaurant. We sat at the sushi bar and let the chef choose our rolls. Every single one was excellent. Wish I had a place like in my home town. Without a doubt, I will be back next time I'm in Las Vegas.

A group of 8 of us went for my son's 21st birthday. Overall, we were very pleased. The food was good. The value was there too if you go when you are hungry as this is an all you can eat option. The service was okay given the chaos of how busy they are and the stress put on the servers. A couple orders were overlooked/forgotten but you can always get it going again. The wait to get in was about an hour. Seating is a little tight. If you do the all you can eat, make sure you read the fine print or you can quickly find yourself paying additional at the end. We'd go here again for the value of the all you can eat, just know not to expect a formal dining experience and a few hiccups because of how busy they are.

We decided to look on trip adviser for an off strip Sushi place. It wasn’t really very much to look at from outside but dont let that fool you. We had the all you can eat option which basically means you can order what you want from the entire menu for 23.99 Well the food was very nice and the staff behind the sushi bar very friendly Highly recommended!

Wow EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE HIGH QUALITY SUSHI. EVERYTHING About our experience TOP SHELF REASONABLY PRICED LOVED IT. CANT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT EVERYTHING. THANK YOU YAMA SUSHI FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL DINING EXPERIENCE

There was a line down the block at Gordo Taco, but behind that we found Yama Sushi. We sat at the sushi bar. It was 23 or 24 dollars for all you can eat and nothing was excluded. We only had one roll that wasn't to our liking, everyone's taste buds are different. The staff was very helpful, nice and prompt.

This was a well reviewed restaurant and it delivered, great service and pricing and very good food, the rolls where we'll prepared and the sashimi fresh. The all you can eat deal is very good value and offers every roll on the menu. Plenty of parking and near the strip.

Wide variety of outstanding appetizers, sushi & desert. Fast pleasant, professional service. Great value!

I was just visiting Vegas so I don't know if the line is always so long that it extends outside the restaurant, but trust me, it is worth the wait. I have never had an Eat-All-You-Can sushi that included Uni and Ikura!! For $25/person, that's practically a steal! Granted you only get a limit of 2 pcs of Uni's but I'm not complaining! The shari (rice) of the nigiris were cooked perfectly and the neta (sushi topping) was absolutely delicious. A lot of people tend to want to wait for a table instead of going to the counter, and since we were hungry, we opted for the counter and it was the BEST choice ever. If you sit at a table, the wait is longer, but at the counter, the food comes directly from the itamae (sushi maker) so it's relatively fast. Trust me, sit at the counter for faster service. This place is SO popular that waits are expected at the tables, so you may want to put in as many orders when your server comes. I highly recommend this place!!

Great experiance. Great rolls. Great house saki. Only $25 for lunch all you can eat. Definitely recommend trying this place if you love sushi

Nice place for all you can eat sushi. They have many selection of sushi rolls, handrolls and cut rolls with unique names. Unlike other sushi places, mostly they fill the handrolls with a lot of rice and only the top part has the dish. But here, the rice is only a little bit and mostly filled with the dish. They also have other type of foods and appetizers, soup and salad. Menu for lunch and dinner is the same. Place is usually crowded during lunch and dinner hours, If you have a large party, you can reserve min 2 hrs in advance. Come before the crowd if possible.

The place is simple but more than effective. The All you can eat menu is awesome for $20.00, the quality of the fish is super good the variety is plenty and the service is very personal. If you can go off the strip it is really good.

We eat here every time we come to Vegas, its our first choice. Most people have the All you can eat, option. I recommend the seafood salad, covered in sashimi and there is a huge selection of rolls to choose from and hot items. Drinks are reasonable and service is usually quick, even when busy. The price is amazing, speaking as someone who has eaten sushi in many countries, approx.$25 each. They have opened 2 other sites, one on the strip and on the other side of the strip, at Chinatown but we like this one best.

I am sure people love the all you can eat sushi here but let me just say it was meh. Nothing special here. Small pieces and I question how fresh some of the fish was. Wouldn't go back anytime soon.

If you read my reviews, you know that I like to try BBQ anywhere in the US and sushi anywhere in the world. I went to Yama because of the reviews, and it's walking distance to my hotel on Paradise (well, a mile), but two miles from the Strip. Several homeless people on the walk there, and in an unimpressive strip mall by Albertsons. Also unimpressive when you walk in, but... A lot of people already there at 5:00. Many families. I went for the AYCE, and I was first surprised to find out that it includes all the items on the menu (food items). They have quite a selection of Japanese beers and sake as well. I stuck with green tea. Sushi is very fresh, great selection, and a very good ratio of sashimi to rice. I asked for a recommended roll, and went with a "No Name" roll, one of their most popular if you believe the menu. Not bad, but I'm not a fan of the mayo and crunch toppings. Lots of others to choose from, though. The nigiri were really great. Unagi is one of my favorites, so had several of those, many kinds of tuna and salmon. Had a couple of clam. Finished with mango mochi ice cream. I was alone and sat at the bar. The guys behind the counter were fast and funny. I talked to my server about how impressed I was with the sushi, and she said (she's from Korea) that she was impressed as well. I'll definitely come back!!

Honestly the food was amazing, the service was completely horrible, bad attitude, felt like amateur hour. Not informative at all, put 2 separate orders on the same plate without even letting us know. Didn’t have enough utensils or menus. I mean worst service I’ve ever had in my life.

This is the 2nd visit celebrating our anniversary, we love this place! Great food, service and lovely ambiance of the place! It's a small branch on the strip but with a great value!

My wife and I have been to many restaurants in Vegas and so instead of going to a restaurant on the strip (Las Vegas Blvd) we decided to try a Sushi place off the beaten path. Yama restaurant is a bit small, well where we were seating the chairs and table are kind of small, so I felt a bit cramped. On the other hand, the food was DELICIOUS! It was tasty with good portions and the all-you-can-eat deal, is sooooooo worth it. I recommend this place if you want a really great meal that serves really good sushi.

Went here for dinner tonight based on reviews and so glad we did! We did the AYCE. You order any app, nigiri, and rolls off the menu and they bring it to you freshly prepared. All the yumminess of freshly prepared dishes but way more choices than the typical AYCE sushi joint. We loved everything we tried and finished with some mochi ice cream. The staff were friendly and attentive- excellent job! If I was a local, I’d be a regular.

A very pleasant surprise with an all you can eat formula for $20 at lunch where you order anything you want a la carte from half rolls to tuna poke or regular nigiri. Everything is delish and if it was not for the surroundings and the dining area look, I would have given it a 5*

I'm impressed. The staff and the sushi were impressive. I do recommend the hamachi kama. The have a lot of great rolls too!

One of my must stop restaurants whenever visiting Las Vegas. The Seafood salad is always the first thing we order, excellent and lots of sushi comes with it. A very large and delicious selection of sushi options.

The food was fantastic and the place was packed. They have an all you can eat option. It seemed they are heavy on the cooked rolls.

Sushi was fresh and tasty. Service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend when visiting Vegas for a break from the strip.

Went all you can eat and was pleasantly surprised. Food came out fast and was nice. It’s obviously not going to be Nobu for 35 dollars but you can eat well and nicely for a great price. Please don’t order stupid amounts in one go and then not eat it. They come by frequently and will always be happy for you to order more once you’ve eaten what you had. Would return - waitress was polite and efficient

I had the California roll. It was very good. Others had all you can eat sushi. It is a busy place. There are several of these in Vegas. If you like sushi, go there.

We found the place on Tripadvisor, it's excellent, all you can eat menu with large choice and the sushi were so good. Def a place to go for sushi lovers

Very quick and fresh. All you can eat is amazing as everything on the menu is available. Give it a try you won't be disappointed! It is busy on Friday nights.

I'm not a sushi eater, but my husband loves this place. We discovered it when we were in vegas earlier this year, and when we were there with friends a few weeks ago, we stopped here twice for lunch! All 3 in my party were raving about the choices, quality, and price. I had the chicken teriyaki meal the first time and chicken sesame the 2nd. Both good, but preferred the teriyaki. Delicious! My husband and friends wish they'd open a yama sushi back home (ohio!)

Nice variety and great service! Rolls very good and so were the scallops with mushrooms! Will be back next visit.

After reading such rave reviews I decided to try this AYCE restaurant. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. My friends weren't quite as happy with the AYCE concept so ordered directly from the menu. They did not like the way the waitress spoke to them as if they were little children, telling them they could not taste from our plates, etc. they were a bit too forceful and repetitive with their warnings I must say. However, this just tells me they have had issues with people doing this before and for that reason I can understand their concerns. The quality of the sushi was very good and I will definitely return and I do recommend them especially if you are looking for a good quality AYCE.

I was considering NOT leaving a review for this restaurant, as we love it so much.It is off the strip, so you need transport. They have expanded their space, so it is easier to get a table, or you can sit at the counter. It is an all you can eat, not a buffet, you order off the menu, as much as you want in 2 hours, we have never lasted that long. There are plenty of hot items as well. I recommend the seafood salad, covered in sashimi and there is a huge selection of rolls to choose from. Drinks are reasonable and service is usually quick, even when busy. Look out for the crazy lady, she is wonderful and remembered us when we went back The price is amazing, speaking as someone who has eaten sushi in many countries, $25 each. They have opened another site on the other side of the strip, but we like this one , so have not tried.

Visited here last week with my friends. We are all vegan/vegetarians and we had a great meal here. Lovely food, very tasty and fresh. Service wasn't the best and it wasn't cheap either but overall, for a vegan visiting the States, it was worth it.

Came here as soon as I landed in Las Vegas as I was craving sushi. Good value of money for unlimited sushi (something you barely find in England). there was a bit of a queue when we got there but didn't have to wait long for a table.

Best All you can eat Suhshi, i‘ve ever eat. There are so many Shushi creation which where all so tasty. The price performance is excellent, i don‘t eat so good shushi for so a good price. The Service was Perfect. Thank you

Tried this place (3049 Las Vegas Blvd. #20) 2 days ago with son who came to town for a trade show/convention. It was amazing.....hubby and son had “all you can eat” and they did just that and had just about everything on the menu it seemed. I was not quite as hungry so stuck with grilled mackerel and tempura veggies and mochi. Hubby couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. Service was great and on top of things. I guess you could say it’s a hidden gem as it is located on the Strip & Convention Center Dr in a Strip Mall in the back. Highly recommend!

I have never had such amazing service. Great selection of food; will come again. There was many raw choices. I usually don't try raw but I found a good option that's was surprisingly good . They has a little too many options with cream cheese .

My wife and I had the AYCE lunch. We ordered a variety of specialty rolls and some nigiri. Everything we ate was good, but nothing special. Service was generally quick and attentive. Polite staff. If you want high-end sushi, you’ll probably be let down. However, if you just want to stuff yourself silly with tasty sushi rolls then eating here is no-brainer.

We asked our hotel concierge for a good sushi restaurant off the strip and this is where she recommended. We all went with the all-you-can-eat option and it was incredible. Everything on the menu was included for approximately $24 a person. As long as you were getting at least two rolls and one other item such as an appetizer you’ll easily surpass that. The food was very good. The rolls were creative. The fish was fresh. Their service was very attentive. The place is not fancy and it is in a strip mall that you would easily pass by. But don’t, it is worth the visit.

i was expecting super good sushi because of all the good reviews, in fact the sushi was horrible. if you take the "all you can eat", some dishes are marked so you can only order it once, in addition there are a few rules like: left overs will be charged, dont eat the fish without the rice...etc. sashimi is not available. i had a salmon roll and the salmon on the roll had the size of 1cmx1cm, no joke. the chicken teriyaki was super dry and not enjoyable but i had to eat it if i didnt want to be charged for left overs! it was very loud.

I love this place. There’s two locations actually and I have been to both! Love the menu tons of rolls to choose from. The appetizers are also good too I get BBQ ribs, and Hamachi Kama is absolutely delicious:-) I think it’s about $ 25 per person for dinner which is so worth it I think :-) def check it out when you in Vegas !

Had a great time here with some friends. We had the AYCE sushi and had fun sampling their various appetizers, poke bowls, sushi and rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh and the service was great. Looking forward to my next trip to Vegas so I can come back!

I am from Los Angeles but I visit LV at least 2 times per year and I always visit Yama sushi at least once per visit. I have been to this restaurant at least 30 times. Some years I came to LV 4-5 times. THE FOOD is ALWAYS fresh. Seafood salad is made out of sashimi. Yes, you can order salad once because of it but it is a part of AYCE. The service is excellent and very attentive. This place has the longest time limit but I don't know why. 2 hours. If you can eat for two hours you are a boring person and should explode. Unless you have a hollow leg. Most places have only 1 hour limit. I have never had bad food here, ever. Going to LV this August 2021 and will definitely be there.

We were recommended this place by my girlfriends brother and his girl. We ordered a taxi and gave him the adress. When we arrived to the place it didn't look like a place we normally would stop to check out. But when we walked in there was a 5 people in line and the place was fuld op people. That is always a good sign:-) We ordered "all you Can EAT" and the sushi was very tasteful and Good looking:-)

In general Vegas has great variety of sushi restaurants. It's one of them. All you can eat. It's what we always get. Cute place with yummy sushis.

A casual off the strip Sushi restaurant in a strip mall. So not fine dining Sushi, but well worth the visit. The prices were reasonable and the variety and selection of specialty rolls was impressive. Add $2 to the price of any roll and they will make it a protein roll (no rice). We ordered the "dance in the street" and the "no name" and both were delicious. My wife ordered the yellowtail Hamachi, one of the best we've had. The place was busy and a bit noisy, but the service was truly excellent. Portion sizes for sashimi and salads was a bit disappointing. Overall, worth the short drive off the strip.

Very impressed with the variety of sushi rolls and other options on the menu from tempura to salads, nigiri and dessert for all you can eat and under $25. Will definitely go back the next time we're in Las Vegas.

We went around 6, and did not experience a significant wait time. Restaurant was crowded. Consider reservations or getting there early. We had the unlimited sushi, and they did not hold back. As long as you finish your entrees, you can continue to order. We were able to share amongst the group who ordered the unlimited sushi option. Plenty of sushi options to choose. Sushi quality was very good, but not great. The majority of sushi rolls contained shrimp or eel. Service was excellent. Servers stopped by often and took orders quickly whenever you are prepared to reorder. Saki was reasonably priced. Only one negative, restaurant felt a bit dirty. Floor was somewhat sticky, air conditioning was not working well. Overall, well worth going for the unlimited sushi.

It’s priced slightly higher. Quality is not good. If you want to have good sushi try else where. I was disappointed with the ratings. Usually TripAdvisor suggestions are good

Came here after a full day of driving and shopping around Vegas. We called ahead and were told that it would be an hour wait so we put our name down and started driving to the restaurant (20min away). Before we got to the restaurant they called us an said a table was ready (we were a minute away). So when we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. The restaurant also had plenty of parking out front. The ordering here was a little different then other places we've been to. They give you a menu and you place each order with a staff member. But, like other places there were some menu items which was one order per person. So we ordered some of those - soft shell crab, LA Galbi, and Oysters. The Soft Shell Crab was humongous and very tasty! The LA Galbi was a really good portion and grilled to perfection. The Oysters were a good size with the only complaint that it was one order/one oyster per person. We let my wife have them all as Oysters are one of her favourites. All the food was really good, well presented, fresh, and tasted great. We liked the large assortment of rolls and that you could get a half order - that allows you to try without being to committed. Salmon Avocado Temaki (hand cone) were great and good ration of avocado/salmon/rice. The tempura was not too oily. There is a limit on dessert but we were so stuffed that we could only get one ice cream and 2x Melona ice cream bars to share. Staff were extremely friendly and came around often. This was good because you always had to place an order through them. On this night it was quite busy and the noise was moderate and we could still hold a conversation. The large portions, the fresh fish, ability to get 1/2 order rolls, good selection of desserts, friendly staff, and relative closeness to the strip makes this a gem and we definitely will come back again.

This is NOT a buffet! All sushi made to order. All you can eat for $25 if the best value!! Also large beer portions.

I've eaten a number of times here at Yama Sushi. I have not been disappointed ever. The all-you-can-eat special allows you to take advantage of a number of menu items. The place can get pretty busy and the tables go fast. Plenty of people eat here and you may have to wait to get a table.

Great to sit at the bar, all staff are helpful and friendly and encourage trying new foods. Obviously it does not have the ambience of the Sushi Roku or Sushi Samba but if you are hungry $25 for as much as you can eat is good value. It would appear Summer 18 they are opening a new restaurant on the strip, so this may well be closer. Would recommend if you like Sushi and would revisit

Yama Sushi All you can eat sushi Located off the strip we have been going to this place for years and have never been disappointed. For $24.00 per adult you can have all the sushi, edamame, salad and other menu items you can eat in a 2 hour period. I love this place as we usually go with a large group and order all those crazy sushi rolls that you always wonder about and are afraid to try. Everyone gets a taste of something and no one ever leaves hungry and we have found some of those scary sounding sushi rolls are actually pretty delicious. It gets pretty crowded in the evening so make a reservation or go planning to wait awhile for a table (especially if its a larger group.) They also have a great selection of cold and hot saki as well as a full bar (not part of the all you can eat). Nothing fancy but the service is good and the food delicious, great break from the lights and slot machines of the strip. This is a definite must check out if you love sushi and are in the Vegas area

I tend to stay away from the all you can eat sushi bars, but this place is wonderful. Opted for AUCE as al la carts was pricey. $23 for dinner and the sushi is great. Place turns over quick. The fish was very fresh and the service top tier. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy sushi!

Very similar tasted as other all u can it sushi. But employed so cool and kindly and friendly. I like some fry fish menu and seafood salad. I think kids can enjoy sushi too.

Quality sushi just as good, if not better, than sushi places on the strip and less than half the price of strip sushi. Plus a great wait staff and sushi chefs. Feel free to ask the waitresses for suggestions as they know everything about that menu and have tried it all. Every recommendation she made was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

This place had excellent sushi, rolls, and other options. The service was very good and not only did the servers check with me often, but it was also very easy to speak to anybody going by and ask them for another item. My only caution with this restaurant is that it's in a very area. It's part of a large strip mall and the parking lot felt unsafe as I left my car there. There were lots (more than 15) of people just kind of hanging around, which seems risky at night. I was approached by both a hooker and a drug dealer as I walked from my car to the restaurant. However, after eating, my car appeared to not have been disturbed whatsoever.

Late lunch. All you can eat. (I know, RIGHT) but was good. Service great. Sushi kept coming. Tried several different rolls and all were good.

We have been coming here over the years and have always had good service and food. Unfortunately today I can’t say either Service was not on par with the past. And even worse was the food. Baked and grilled items were lukewarm at best. The sushi was subpar rice tasted old and dry. We had to send back our salmon skin hand roll as the pee sprouts were well past being fresh and wilted. Our server said just take them out… hmm like they should have not been used in first place. Well least they have another location for us to visit as we won’t be returning to this one anytime soon

Delicious, fresh, great service! We especially loved the seafood salad, tempura shrimp, and hamachi kama. We had several types of sushi & a couple of rolls and everything was amazing!

All you can eat sashimi where the portions don't come out half as large as when you buy them a la carte. Sometimes can take a little bit for wait staff to get to you to take orders so I'd advise making bulk orders if there during busy times.

Was looking for a restaurant near where we stay,we choose this place. The place was crowded but we made we reservations. Service was fast and polite and friendly. Food was good but do have some missed, overall I recommend. Will add to my list of restaurants in Vegas.

This is the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to! You pay $23.95 all you can eat and can choose anything from the menu including soups, salads, and desserts. This is a deal in Vegas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and politely answered any question we had. The sushi is absolutely amazing. We ordered 8 rolls between the two of us and loved every roll. My personal favorites were the who’s your daddy roll and the man w**** roll. Definitely recommend for any visitor or local.

This is a Vegas must! It is a short drive from the strip. This is an awesome AYCE option. Everything you ask for is awesome. It has become a must go place on my Vegas trips.

I have friends down in Vegas who turned me on to this place, and I’m glad they did!! I highly recommend buying the “all you can eat” option. The sushi rolls are fantastic and varied, and you have other options if you’re not a sushi fan. I can’t wait to go back.

Trust the locals when they tell you where to eat. A casino dealer said this is her favorite Sushi/Asian food and she was correct. EVERY roll we ate was fantastic and fresh. My husband is Asian and we are a picky about our food. the place is packed and casual attire . Highly recommend

Get there early, because they fill up quickly and stay busy. Bring your A-game appetite because there are too many great rolls to just nibble. Great presentation and very reasonably priced. A hidden gem not too far from hotels. Worth the Uber!

We were so happy to find an affordable place to grab a quick, cool bite on a hot day. The rolls were tasty and relatively affordable. If you think you'll eat more than two rolls, the all you can eat option is well worth it.

Great food, at a great price and great service. The eat all you can is fantastic value. What’s not to like. We will be going back.

It was a big surprise to find such quality food in Las Vegas. On a short driving distance from Strip, recommended by friend, decided to try. If ever will be in Vegas definitely will come back. Fish is amazing.

We were a little leery when walking up to the restaurant due to the arguing drunk, possibly homeless people loitering outside. Once we entered, the restaurant is impeccable with amazing staff. The food selection and quality were some of the best we have eaten. We will be back on our next trip to Vegas.

I love this place....I live in Florida and I come to Las Vegas to set up in the Convention Industry as well as to visit my Son and Family. This is one place I love to come to.

The staff and chefs were friendly and energetic and provided a wonderful experience! I usually avoid buffets and ayce deals, but this one is exceptional, all the food is high quality and made to order! Absolutely will return every chance we get

Went for all you can eat sushi. Appitizers are included. Must try "Be Mine" delicious! The sauce was out of this world! Service was excellent! Will go back

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a good all you can eat sushi restaurant, which was not too expensive for the location. So we found Yama Sushi online which is about 7 minutes away from the strip of Vegas. We are exceptional sushi lovers so we could tell immediately, if the sushi was good or not. When we arrived, the location was already loaded with guests, so we thought it must be a good place to eat. Usually, all you can eat places offer a more poor quality than other restaurants do. But I have to say this place did not disappoint in taste and service. In fact, it was really good. The sushi was high quality and service was very friendly and fast. The location was kind of old, but the food definitely makes up for it. If I would go to Vegas again, I would definitely go to Yama Sushi again!

Excellent place, very good sushi and service, good prices. They serve very fast and are very friendly, I highly recommend it

The service was a little slow and confusing here. Also there was some type od fight/disturbance while I was there. Lots of screaming and yelling between staff and a customer whom they were holding back. It was odd and not handled very well on the part of the restaurant. Sushi Neko has much higher quality food and a better menu. Better, faster, easier service. Better location. Yama was average and fine. Just nothing more than that.

The sushi was delicious! I only wish that you were able to order specialty rolls in half size portions. My husband and I both got the all you can eat sushi. We were only able to try a couple of them before we were totally stuffed. I would have liked to try more of their vast sushi menu by having the ability to order smaller portions.

We were staying downtown & looking for a sushi place. The one closest closed earlier than they had said, so we drove further and we were so glad! It was our favorite meal of the trip. All you can eat from the WHOLE menu, dessert too! It was fun to try new rolls and the service was amazing. Go a little early, there can be a wait later in the evening, but it was worth it.

We went to Yama Sushi at 122nd and 5pm St. The attendant was very rude. He doesn't have the patience to receive the order. We ordered a dish. He was harsh only to respond that the dish was not being served that night. We gave minimum tip percentage. He remained standing next to the table until we left to question our opinion. It was horrible! We never went back there. The restaurant was cut from our list. The food is very good. But the treatment is traumatic. No one deserves to be on a trip and be treated with such contempt.

At around $22 for all out can eat made to order sushi, Yama is not only great quality sushi it's also an absolute bargain. We went twice on our trip to Vegas both times seated at the counter with a skilled chef preparing our choices to order. Some of the higher priced items are only allowed to be ordered once but all the fish was fresh and expertly prepared. The tuna collar was a highlight alone with the sweet prawns. It's a little off the strip (40 minute walk) but well worth a taxi ride if a stroll in the heat isn't your thing

First off, I decided to go to Yama Sushi based off the reviews I read on TripAdvisor. I had no idea they offered an "all-you-can-eat" option. Once we got there, we decided to go for it since it included everything on the menu. We ordered edamame, nigiri, sushi and even desert. The sushi came to our tables in amazing time after each order. Every single item we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and I am definitely going here again next time I go to Vegas. We finished the fine meal with some mochi and pistachio ice cream. It's been three or four days since our visit and I'm still craving the sushi again, and can't wait for my next visit.

I am trying to stick to only places that you should avoid. keep your money, learn from my mistakes. But, I live near yama sushi. I have never had a problem there. If you can dream it they will make it. half roll? no problem. Too me their best attribute is there customer service. And I know I'm a pain when it comes to sushi. I don't recall them ever making a wrong item.. please don't forget the sushi chefs are allowed to drink saki on duty. Make them happy..you might want a favor!! it says when did I travel? I go there at least twice a month

We went because of the good recensions on tripadvisor. A big mistake! it's Outside Las Vegas strip, not in a great place at all! Inside and outside looking not welcoming or nice or else. Sushi was low quality and not well made. Short: just the worst. The "good quality" mentioned on tripadvisor was nowhere to find Never going back for sure!

Every time we come to Las Vegas, we make sure to visit Yama Sushi. They have the best AYCE in Las Vegas at the best price. We love the sake(salmon), the tempura shrimp, and so much more!

I use to work down the street and a few of us would come here for lunch on payday. Always fresh food. They are so very nice and will bring u whatever u want. Love the Dragon Roll and Sex on the Beach . Now I go there and I don't even work close by.

So, after our outstanding experience here two years ago with our daughter, we had to come back to see if it was just a dream. Still in the same place and still putting out great sushi, nigiri, rolls, etc. I started with miso soup, tako nigiri and tuna poke salad ondaikon with spicy sauce. Once the taste buds woke up it was on to a Palm Job and a Dancing in the Sheets roll with tempura squid and scallop with eel sauce. A couple more tako nigiri and a double salmon roll (smoked and regular salmon) rounded out the main meal. With iced green tea to drink, it only made sense to finish with green tea ice cream. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Not a bad choice in the bunch. Since we had the all youcan eat lunch, this all came to $20.95 plus $1.95 for the tea. My selections, had they been ala carte, would have come to $59.10 before tax. My wife also had the AYCE lunch so our total for tge afternoon came to $48 plus tax. Once again, two years later, a fabulous meal for not a big expense. The service is superb, fast and all orders are prepared once your order is submitted. Nothing put together ahead of time. It's been a real pleasure to eat here both times. Will always make it a point to return.

We did the all you can eat option. It was all fresh and delicious. We tried so many different types of sushi, it was fun. This is a great value. We went to the Flamingo location off of the Strip. In a run-down strip mall, but it doesn’t matter. This place is awesome.

So we were recommend Yama by a complete stranger who we got talking to in a noodle restaurant on the west side of Vegas. From the outside it looks like another fairly anonymous strip mall food option. But inside you find a lively, bustling neighbourhood restaurant. My husband, me and our sleeping daughter in her buggy were found suitable room after a bit of chair juggling and we were well looked after by the brilliant staff. You can order a la carté but the big selling point for the restaurant is it’s all you can eat. And for a ridiculously affordable price (AYCE for two plus cokes was $50ish). There are plenty of exciting sushi rolls (top tip we ordered half a roll rather than the whole thing so you we could try more of them) plus more than enough non-sushi sides like gyoza and tempura for those less keen on raw fish. The rules to AYCE are simple. Don’t over order. You’ll be charged for what you leave. You can’t eat the fish and leave the rice and no you can’t share one person’s AYCE if you’re going a la carté. But do order a selection of the nigiri before really hitting the rolls. They are well put together and bursting with fresh flavour. Be a shame to overlook them for the more obvious flashy charms of the rolls. (The rolls also have hilarious/appalling names, delete as appropriate) We finished with some ice cream and after we left our waitress chased after us to give us two souvenir Yama Sushi coffee mugs. It’s great sushi, but the value makes it truly special. Plus it’s a nice cheerful vibe. We’ll be back next week!

Great place for AYCE sushi. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Great selection of items and they have great hours. Have been coming here every time I am in Las Vegas and I live in Oregon.

I don’t know how the other reviews are so good of this sushi place, but for me this is the worst place ive been for sushi. The sushi was not fresh! The whole sushi was cold as the took it straight out of the fridge. The rice was hard, the shrimp at the Shrimp Tempura was cold! Tasted as supermarket sush. Very dissapointed

The rolls were awful, liberal use of spicy peppers, very stingy with the fish. The tempura shrimp was the size of a pencil.

Unexpected outstanding sushi, found in Vegas at an All You Can Eat, Strip Mall location. Even more unique....I cannot believe that my wife and kids also offered up a 5-Star rating to Yama Sushi given the attitude I got from all of them as we approached the restaurant and walked in. But wow, outstanding all the way around: friendly, helpful, professional staff, massive menu, tasty and creative sushi and rolls, and totally affordable! Solid beer and sake menu and loved their salmon, yellowtail, octopus and particularly their Ellen Roll. They did a great job during COVID-19, keeping everyone safe, socially distanced, wearing masks, cleaning constantly and doing all they could to keep all healthy. We stuffed our faces and all for a remarkably reasonable price. Food came out very quickly and beautifully served. Great 5-star sushi...on the strip, in a strip mall with a massive All You Can Eat offering...hard to believe!

I know it is not expensive fine sushi. Yama sushi is just all you can eat sushi restaurant. So I don't expect fine dining experience. But I'm really disappointed at its poor quality of ingredients. Especially, white tuna is not tuna at all. They used the other cheap white fish and cheated the customers. And other fish were all poor quality. I don't go there again. There are better all you can eat sushi restaurant in Las Vegas.

A must do if you love sushi. Try the seafood salad and wet dream... $23.95 all you can eat sushi. The seafood was so fresh and delicious, can't wait to go back! Excellent service.

Driving up East Tropicana going West towards the Las Vegas Strip, and take a right on Algonquin Drive and then a left to enter the shopping center for a sushi treat. The amazing Japanese variety at Yama Sushi costs $24 for All You Can Eat Sushi. They offer an excellent and creative menu. Select names like Dragon Roll, Rainbow, etc. which are excellent choices. Served with a simple bowl of hot miso soup.

Most AYCE sushi deals are a buffet with either limited selection or lower quality. Yams was excellent with the same regular selection and superb quality as traditional pay per roll. The $23.95 price per person was excellent and for a couple pays for itself in 5-6 rolls. Loved the roll names and the "Wet Dreams" roll was to die for. Loved the others too. Will return for sure everytime visiting vegas.

Don't let the strip mall or relatively inexpensive prices fool you....this place is incredible. Off hours it was 24 for all you can eat, and the rolls available are complex and tasty. This is the best food value in Las Vegas as far as I'm concerned.

Expect a wait, especially on a Friday or Saturday, but go anyway. This places knows how to handle high volumes of patrons. Orders are taken & delivered quickly, much faster than most other sushi restaurants. Quality is good, they move through a tremendous amount of fish. The rice is acceptable. I recommend the hand rolls. Your dining experience will not be intimate. Tables are very close to each other, & crammed anywhere one will fit. The bar is a good option here.

i will definitely come back next time I'm in town. I'm already planning for some friends to join me next time. YOu can try a lot of new things, you haven't tried before. i definitely recommend this place.

I think it was around $24 for all you can eat dinner on a Monday night. I sat at the bar and got very quick service. The sushi chef gave me the wrong roll twice which one I didn't like and wouldn't have ordered anyway, but the other was really good. There was no issue when I told them I didn't want the one I didn't order, they simply took it away and gave me a new roll. I ordered both rolls and sashimi. Everything I ordered was excellent, the one roll I got that I didn't like was simply because it had spicy mayo on it and I don't like that. I would certainly eat here again.

This was mediocre at best.i am shocked by all the rave reviews. The string beans were inedible. The chicken was poor to bad. So many better places.

Hungry and wanted food as we came back from the dam wanted good food before we hit the strip. Thank you Tripadvisor! All you can eat Susi! Good. We ate our share. (they have another restaurant just off the strip too).

I was introduced to this local gem a few years age at their Spring Mountain location and they now have a spot on the strip as well! Amazing sushi flown in fresh daily, and the all-you-can-eat package is the only way to go! Definitely must try the Hamachi when you visit...the food is so amazing every trip out we end up going at least twice!!!

I can't give it 4.5 stars so five rather than four. I've eaten enough sushi along the west coast (Vancouver to San Diego) to speak definitively on the topic. This is NOT the best sushi you will ever have but it IS the best value you'll find and the fish is fresh. If you want to spend $100+ I'm sure you can find better sushi on the Strip (or in any major city) but if you want quality AND quantity without worrying about your pocketbook Yama is where it's at. $24 per person for dinner is a steal if you manage your ordering correctly. IMPORTANT: most rolls come in 8s and you can end up with a lot of food pretty quick if you're not careful. Although it doesn't say anywhere on the menu you can order 1/2 rolls of pretty much everything. It's a great way to try more things and focus on what you like. It also makes dining alone (or in small groups) more enjoyable.

Quite an experience. Try to avoid rush hours, it can get really crowded. Of course is not the very best quality but not bad either.
Delicious, fantastic, pick your own adjective.
We took Lyft from the strip. Minor wait and a crowded place, but comfortable. Server was very helpful, we needed recommendations and every one she gave came through! The four of us did the all you can eat option and EACH one was very good. Just bring your appetite, you have to finish what you start. WE WILL GO AGAIN.
