We're staying on the strip and looking for affordable place to eat nearby. It was about 10min drive and glad we decided to drive. (you may wanna use highway) We found our new favorite place to go for sure. Place is small and nothing fancy by the way, but owner and cooks have pride in what they do and it shows. My shawarma salad was so good. Their hummus is very fresh. I can't wait to try other items next time we go to vegas. The only bad thing is they don't have restroom..

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. It’s the second time we’ve been in. We had forgotten that we’d eaten there until we walked in. Friendly greeting. You order at the counter then take a seat. They bring the food out when ready. Pay after eating. Plenty of seating. TVs going. I ordered the Lamb Gyro. It was disappointing. While there was plenty of meat, it was dry and very little lettuce. No cucumber, one small piece if tomato. The pita was delicious and fresh. My husband ordered the Chicken Greek salad. The lettuce was also not plentiful or fresh. Service was good.

I was craving a gyro with real lamb meat. We used uber eats to get us some delivered to our hotel room at Desert Rose Resort. We had the garlic fries and large gyro. The fries were amazing and the gyro was good. The sauce was a little strong but all in all good.

On a recent trip down to Las Vegas I decided to stop by this place to get some lunch. The restaurant is not very big and almost all of the tables were full so I had a short wait but it was under 10 minutes. The menu is not huge but everything I tried was so good. There are some mistakes on the menu and i got a little confused but it turned out to be a really good thing. I went in to get a gyro. There is a special on the menu where you can get a gyro with a selected side. I chose to get the gyro with some Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves). I also saw some feta cheese fries on the menu so I ordered a side of those too. The server came back by and asked if I would like a gyro with babaghanoush. I had never had babaghanoush so I said sure. I thought she meant babaghanoush IN the gyro. She meant another dish with babaghaboush in it. This babaghanoush came with warmed pit bread for dipping. So, when my food arrived at the table it was on five plates. Five plates of food. For me. And not small plates. They were very generous portions. The dolmades were very yummy and the feta fries arrived in a trough-like basket with a LOT of cheese and a delicious sauce. Evidently babaghanoush is roasted eggplant blended with olive oil, tahini, lemon and herbs. It was delicious. And the gyro was enormous. It looked like somebody had folded a medium pizza in half but full of awesome gyro meat and tzaziki sauce. Everything was so good. I could not finish it all but I put a nice dent in it. For all this the bill was less than twenty bucks. I will definitely stop back by here on my next trip to Vegas. Maybe in August when Def Leppard starts playing there?

The food was okay however for the ambiance being a step above a diner or fast food establishment it was expensive. Did not have the abundance of portions many Greek restaurants have so at least if its pricey you might have some leftovers. I also found the menu limited.

What a fantastic find. Spoke with Seani at great length about helping me with my dietary needs. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Made several suggestions about options to improve our experience while also caring about our budget.

Very friendly owners, large portions, traditional gyros extremely tasty and priced less than 9 bucks. This was our 3rd visit and won't be our last. Well worth the 10 to 15 minute drive from the main strip. Take the Silverado Ranch Dr exit off 15.

Got the gyro pita and the gyro salad and both were really good though the lamb was a tad dry. I'd try again.

I enjoy a good gyro so figured I would give this place a try. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the crispy fries with feta cheese and garlic. But the meat on my shawarma was not as good as I had hoped. The pita and sauce were fine and the portion was actually too big. 4 stars had the meat been better. Maybe next time I will try the gyro to see if it has better taste. The owner said both meat comes off the same spit so I doubt it will be but they were so friendly that I would try it one more time. The prices are about 20% too high for what I would expect for a location away from the silly tourist area.

I've been trying to eat here ever since our last Vegas trip when someone told us that these guys have the best gyros ever. On our drive in from Vegas last week we stopped by. We got seated right away and the host/server/cashier was very friendly. Unfortunately we waited over 15 minutes for a server to come and take our drink and food order so we just left. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so I don't know why it took so long to get service. On our way out a server said he was walking to our table to get our order but at that point it was already too late. It was a shame because I really wanted to try this place. We tried to come back before we left but couldn't find the time.

Not a fancy place but they seem to have repeated customers. I don't live in Las Vegas, but every time we're in Vegas we always drive from strip to get their chicken Sharma salad. It's pretty affordable and portion is huge.

Always have a good meal here. You can get more soda and they are very nice and the service is fast. They also have greek desserts like baklava for sale.

Our Vegas trip was not going well until we found Yanni’s. The food was wonderful!!!!! Not only great food but great service and super friendly staff! Nice to get off the strip and enjoy a quiet meal! Highly recommend this place!

I had dinner at Yanni's Greek Grill tonight and was pleased to see that it has just undergone a major renovation/expansion. Yanni's which used to feature ":take out" only has been transformed into a tastefully decorated restaurant with authentic Greek paintings and plenty of seating. Greek music playing added to the fun atmosphere. The owner was there and gave my party of six a warm greeting. We asked him to serve us family style and ordered a variety of food including soup, salad, appetizers and kabobs. The babaganoush was tasty as was the lemony soup. I like that the salads weren't drowned in dressing. A big platter with a combination of chicken, lamb, and beef kabobs surrounded by rice was a big hit. The onions on the rice gave it a wonderful flavor. We had baklava for dessert - very fresh, flaky, with just the right amount of sweetness. The prices were lower than we would have expected for such delicious food. I will definitely be back to Yanni's on a regular basis.

The catered Greek lunch from Yanni's was exceptional! The dishes were packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Favorites included the tender chicken kabobs, and the fresh, zesty tzatziki and garlic sauces. The staff’s service was top-notch, ensuring everything was perfectly organized and delivered with a smile. It’s no surprise this lunch is highly requested among the team—Yanni's truly always delivers a memorable dining experience! Thank you, YGG!

We are in Vegas and looking for a place to eat a quick late lunch. Found Yanni's in a strip mall and decided to try it. Glad we did!! Had the lunch special gyro lamb plus a small Greek Salad. Wonderful flavor. My husband loves Greek food and thought it was as good as we get at our favorite Greek restaurant in Florida!

The food here is very good and the baclava is very good as well. The gyros were very good and big. Definitely enough to fill most people. We also got some beef skewers and other items which were all good. Price was relatively inexpensive.

Husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way to California. Easy to find in a small strip mall on S Las Vegas Blvd. Take out or eat in. We were greeted by the cashier/host/server immediately when we walked in. The decor is nice. Space between tables for privacy. Comfortable Lounge area if you just want to sit and eat with your laptop. Sever gave recommendations. Everything is made in house including the pita. All sauces too. I ordered the a Traditional Gyro. It was huge! I had to take some lamb out in order to fit it in my mouth. Beautiful flavors. The pita was amazing. So fresh and toasted perfectly. My husband had the Chicken Gyro Salad. He loved it. Great size portion and it came with a basket of pita on the side. Very flavorful. We are always leery having Greek food because we have toured Greece. Yanni’s did not disappoint! We will be back!

The "spanakopita" were deep fried like some Chinese spring rolls are -- none of that light flaky filo crust that I've had in Greece and every other Greek restaurant I've been to. The falafel wrap was dry and tasted rather unpleasant.

We had the the Chicken Plate, Traditional Gyro pita, Shawarma Pita, Greek Salad and Garlic Feta Fries all of the food was amazing. This is a great family restaurant. The owner was so very nice and helpful. Our family highly recommends this place!

I phoned in an order for chicken kabobs and falafel. The food was prepared promptly, the quality of the kabobs were very good, along with salad and a great rice side.

In walking around the newest part of Las Vegas Blvd. we saw Yanni's Greek Grill and decided to stop in. The food was amazing and even though it was a small restaurant it was clean and server was wonderful. Great gyros and salads. A must visit for Greek food.

This place is amazing. Great food at a very reasonable price. The owner Sean is impeccable and you know he is a great leader because of his staff. They were a complete reflection of him. Elijah and Marianne were super amazing they made sure to explain everything and gave greattttt service. They were super amazing and helpful as well. The owner is very much so hands on. Definitely a 10 in our books. Will forever visit this place when in Vegas. The food is so yummy!!! Please do visit. You won’t regret it.

We read the reviews...and wanted something different. Well...we chose this place. The decor was right from Greece. They love the color Blue. Even the fluorescent lights were covered with Blue covers. Then a Greek "Mom" type greeted us...and served us. We had the Gyro, the Greek Salad and the Falafel Balls. Everything was FANTASTIC. So authentic and traditionally served. Very Very good. Then I had the Baklava...and almost fell off my chair. Best Baklava I have ever had. Moist, chewy...heaven. This is NOT a fancy place...just a great place for True Greek goodies when you are in the mood. Can't go wrong.

I definitely like to find hole-in-the-wall places. When my brother took me here for lunch yesterday I wasn’t disappointed. It was typical Blue and white interior, but what caught my attention was a seating area of couches. I thought that it was different, but pleasant. We were seated right away. What impressed me the most was how good the food was for such a small out of the way place. The second was how welcoming the waitress was. I thought surely she must have been the owner, I was mistaken. Warm, welcoming and really good food. It would be really hard for me to believe anyone could have a bad meal here

You'll find the typical gyros, falafels, and skewers you expect. We went for the shawarma pita, the feta garlic fries, and the spanokopita spring rolls and were very pleased with these unusual items. The pita was generously loaded with the slow-cooked meat. The spring rolls were a wonderfully new experience. The chicken kebob was good, but a routine item. The food was reasonably priced and ready in 10 minutes. I just had to tolerate the noisy ever-present television. I went alone and got take-out for my wife and myself at a nearby resort. This place is now on my Las Vegas short list.

Happened upon this spot on our drive back from Joshua Tree. I’d go back anytime I’m in Vegas. Food was delicious and service was fabulous. Definitely get the feta garlic fries…sooooo good.

For exceptional service, a fantastic chicken or filet kabob, and fantastic baklava then this is your go-to place.

The food here is excellent and we got generous portions and friendly service. We left full and happy! We will definitely go back if we visit Vegas again!

I just finished dining here and have to tell you our group of 6 couldn't have been happier. Everyone loved their dinner and even wish salad, soup, appetizers (babaganoush is my favorite), entrees and dessert, it was most affordable. The owner Yanni came out and checked on us personally and while we were the only ones there at 530 when we met our friends, at 8 when we left (we enjoyed coffee and visiting) the place had a nice crowd. Very attentive but non intrusive service, everything was great and we'll be back!

It's more of a locals place as its way south of the strip on Las Vegas Blvd, had the old standby Gyro, pita was grilled and the meat a little crispier than I'm used to but it was very good despite that. The best part was the garlic feta fries, delicious!

On our first night in Las Vegas and shortly after checking into our nearby lodging, we made the short drive to this restaurant. Traditional gyros were requested that proved to be not quite as good as remembered possibly because 3 nights prior we enjoyed similar fare at our favorite Greek restaurant back in the Nutmeg state.

We stopped on way to airport from southern Vegas. Very good food comparable to the meals we had in the real Santorini. Fast service. Friendly staff. Cheap prices. A place to visit again.

We've eaten at Yanni's a number of times when in time over the past 2-3 years. We initially stumbled across it wanting something different, and now it's part of our routine with trips to the area. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but every menu item we've had has been freshly prepared and excellent, as well as being reasonably priced. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Yanni's has a huge billboard plainly visible as you approach the South point Casino and the GrandView hotel/Timeshare. We were guests at the Grand View and decided to give Yanni's a try for dinner. We were greeted cheerfully and quickly seated. The decor is typical Greek Blue and white with a large mural that mimics the famous spot all Greece brochures exhibit. Spotless. we each had a version of their gyro meat either as a platter or as a pita. The meals were delicious, fresh and hot and I'd say easily among the best we have had at any Greek restaurant. If you are at the Grandview or South Point, alk across the street for a meal you'll not be disappointed at Yanni's

Went here based on Trip Advisor. Very good food and nice server. Had gyros, hummus and stuffed grape leaves. I would come back next time we are in town.

We had lunch at Yanni's Greek Grill. The Feta cheese fries were the best I ever had. I also had babaghanoush with delicious pita bread and a chicken gyro. I highly recommend it.

I went past a lot of eateries to get to Yannis Greek Grill. It was worth it. I like places that the owner greats you and takes your order.

This restaurant is located in close proximity to the South Point Hotel & Casino where we were staying. It is a cozy restaurant, ultra casual and a bit on the dumpy side with most people placing orders to go though there is seating for around 10. Neither of us were particularly hungry the evening of our visit so we each opted for traditional lamb/beef gyros. The gyro meat, according to the restaurant's website, contains no fillers or MSG and I watched as it was sliced off a revolving spit. The combination of gyro meat, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and fresh pita bread combined with a flavorful tzatsiki sauce made for a delicious light dinner. The owner was very personable.

I woke up wanting Greek food after seeing something on TV. so when I hit vegas that's what I was looking for. I found this place across from my hotel - the south point. it had great reviews so I checked it out. I had a lamb gyro and hummus with pita. the hummus was great, flavorful and fresh. as were the pita triangles. my gyro was stuffed with meat and slathered with taziki sauce. Oh so good. I will be coming back here every time! the owner and other staff were quite friendly as I was alone. always checked to see how I was doing. a nice touch.

My husband raved about this place, now both myself and my daughter do as well. We ere only able to eat there once during our trip but I look forward to going back again our next time around. A casual place, cute decor, delightful Greek music and family owned. You can have a sit down meal and chat with the welcoming owners or you can take out and enjoy at home, Great Greek food!!! You will not be disappointed. Authentic home made Greek food, the Feta fries are perfect. My daughter loved the rice and chicken, she said they were "divine". If Miss Picky likes it, you will too!!!!!

When we lived in Germany, it was not uncommon to eat Greek or Italian by actual owners who were Greek and Italian. Food was always good. My sister told me about Yanni's and we tried it. Absolutely awesome. The meat was so tender. The owner told me she buys everything fresh. Nothing is frozen. She is Greek, btw! I had the chicken gyro salad which was full of grilled chicken and was so delicious. My hubby had the filet Mignon kabobs and said the meat was the tenderest and most tasteful he has had in quite some time. We will definitely go back and order again. They are very popular for take out as people kept coming in and picking up their order. Pretty busy place!

This place is tucked into a little trip shopping center and the outside doesn't look fancy but the food makes up for the lack of outside decor. It was extremely good and big portions. Prices are good for the amount of food and I was very happy with my meal. We ordered 2 gyro platters with the "must have" garlic feta fries. 2 spring rolls with chicken, spinach and feta plus a lamb skewer. This was for 3 of us and we had plenty of food. The waiting area is very nice as well; not just some hard chairs. Pros: Great food, fast friendly service, nice waiting area Cons: Not one, unless the fact they are not next door to my house counts

We had the gyro platter and chicken souvlaki. Had the kotopita appetizer. Outstanding flavors and service! Generous portions, too! Highly recommend for anyone! Do not expect fine dining, this is a diner. Expect fabulous Greek food, though. I am Greek and have eaten at many places in Greece and US.

Nothing fancy here, but the food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The server wasn't as knowledgeable about the menu as I'd like, but she was very personable. I can easily recommend anything our table ordered: Greek salad, kebabs (chicken, beef & lamb), gyro, garlic feta fries (the garlic wasn't overpowering at all). It's a bit of a drive if you're staying on the strip, but well worth it.

Tired of being inside of casino for food? Need a breath of fresh air? Then do a nine minute walk from the Southpoint casino for really good Greek food at reasonable prices. I’m just killing time before I’m going to the airport and I’m very happy that I found this place.

A friend suggested I stop here. Yanni’s did not disappoint. Good value for the price. Went home with leftovers. The food tasted great. Friendly, prompt service. Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

Their kebobs are super GOOD. We were back to that place a few times. I grew up in Mediterranean region and know the difference between good and very good. - delicious -excellent customer service - reasonable price - very fresh - clean - eat in or take out

Had my first chicken pita gyro here and I absolutely loved it! They also have feta fries, to die for.. I definitely recommend this place.

Great little place. Great to get lamb and chicken kebabs. Good quality and well cooked. Beef Gyros isn't really a greek thing, but seems popular in the US, so have to go with what sells I guess. I was surprised that the guy on the next table in his late 30's had never eaten lamb. Come on people, there is more to food than burgers and fried chicken. Give it a try.

Me and a friend went to try this place and the first thing that happened was the cashier handled money then went into the kitchen and touched food without washing her hands. Then I saw the cook eating food right off the grill with his bare fingers. I get tasting something but use a fork and I dont think he needed five bites to know if it tasted good. Disgusting walked out without even trying it. Be very careful with this place everything is cross contaminated...

In our younger days we might have walked to this restaurant from the Grandview where we were staying, but we chose to make the short drive. 9 years have come and gone since we last enjoyed a dinner at Yanni’s and in interim the restaurant’s interior has undergone a major upgrade. What has not changed was my wife once again ordering a traditional gyro that proved to be both fresh and delicious. I chose a different route to culinary bliss by ordering a chicken kebab plate that included pita, Greek salad and Greek feta fries. I am embarrassed to admit that although everything was very good, I failed in my attempt finish both the salad or the fries. Prices remain more than reasonable while service proved to be far better than in the pa

I stopped in for a very quick lunch before heading to the airport nearby. There was no one in the place, and that got me worried (for no reason). Service was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the chicken gyro which was served hot on very tasty pita bread. A substantial portion for one person. All told, I was in and out in just 20 minutes (or less) -- which is what I was hoping for.

The food here was okay. Not really anything to brag about. They do give you a very good sized serving which is good if you’re really hungry. Very casual place in a small strip mall near the South Point Casino. We liked everything we ordered except the balaclava was not near as good as other places that I’ve ordered it.

Great Gyro - huge! Split the gyro with hubby and also enjoyed the spanakopita. We always like to try different country's beers - so we had the Aris Lager and Hillas. Both beers were very enjoyable. This restaurant was a great find and has been in Vegas proper for years. Our waitress, Ruby, was great and Yanni made sure we were happy.

Shawarma gyro with garlic fries. Fantastic! Wife had the traditional gyro which was equally as delicious. Fast friendly service.

This is the type of place where you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The gyros are very generously portioned and their feta fries have a garlic sauce drizzled on them. They do not have fountain drinks, but serve 12 oz cans of soda instead.
Actually Super Good!
I'll echo what everyone else has said about this place: you wouldn't expect great food from this place, especially based on what it looks like from the outside. Don't judge a book by it's cover, and just dive in. At Yanni's its damn worth it. I was driving into Vegas, and needed a quick snack before a dinner that was later in the day. Came across this place online, and knew I had to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. We ordered just two plates to share: The garlic feta fries and the chicken kabob plate. Garlic Feta Fries - Fried to perfection and topped with a generous portion of feta along with a garlic sauce. Such a great bite after a long day of driving. Chicken Kabob Plate - Comes with a good-sized Greek salad that's as bright as it is refreshing. "Clean eating" is what comes to mind. The plate comes with two skewers on top of rice and a side of tangy yogurt sauce. Great flavor on the chicken, and with the yogurt it was very good. All I can say is that even though I came for a "light" snack, this was a great meal. I was surprised at how large the portions were, and left stuffed. Service was great. It seems like they have a lot of regulars!
