By hilite |

Poor choice tonight forgot their was a game. Came to catch up, difficulty talking due to the tvs we're LOUD!! GOOD food GREAT service...but not the atmosphere we desired tonight.

Quick lunch

By OldGuyWanderz |

I had the vampire taco...tasty but greasy. Good sized side salad, all greens fresh and crisp. Friendly, fast service.

Surprise St Patty's day

By 984leight |

Keep in mind this is our go to spot. We love it. The beer assortments goes on forever. However, on St Patty's day I order Hendricks on the rocks. Omg was I surprised, GREEN WATER. They actually thought I would not notice. Real disappoint here. Tried to not let it set a bad tone. Nachos, tacos, spicy tuna roll was absolutely off the charts great. Bummer because I do love my cocktail s.

Fun and Relaxing.

By Anna L |

The food was great with a very relaxed outdoor setting. Indoor service also available, but the weather was too nice to stay inside. Excellent, friendly service. Many families were taking advantage of the play area on the patio, which is spacious enough that children's play does not preclude you from an enjoyable lunch.

Excellent food, just don't plan to communicate at the table

By janels |

We hadn't been wowed by the Yard House in Colorado, but decided to try this one while in that part of The Domain. The moment we stepped inside we were overwhelmed by the noisy din. We asked the hostess (twice, she couldn't hear us the first time) for a quite area where we could actually talk. It was very noisy where she sat us. But, in her defense, all areas seemed uncommonly noisy. I think it just have something to do with the "no frills" warehouse decor, including open ceilings and nothing to absorb any of the sound. The server, Shawna, was excellent, although we both couldn't hear her at the same time, so she had to repeat the specials to each of us separately. She did such a good job of making sure that what we ordered didn't have any unpleasant surprises, like something to which I'm allergic, or too spicy. We decided to each order from the lunch combo menu, which is such a great bargain! The fountain drinks, on the other hand, are not a bargain, at $3.25 for an iced tea. For my lunch combo ($9.95) I had ½ Turkey Melt sandwich (huge and delicious on a soft baguette type roll) and ½ Caesar salad. This was more than a generous lunch for me, and a great price. My husband had the same sandwich and chowder. He, too, felt it fully satisfied him, and found them both tasty. This would really be a 5-star lunch experience, and for a reasonable price...very rare in The Domain. Except for the noise. It was so noisy, there could be no conversation. The food and service were excellent, however, and we will return!

Nashville Hot Chicken and pancakes is for lunch and dinner!

By Bill78727 |

Asked the waitress to choose between the Nashville Hot chicken and the Fried Chicken Breast on the menu as both sounded good. Jennifer was right in saying the Hot Chicken and pancakes sounded like brunch but it was a perfect mix for dinner. Fired and breaded chicken breast with a Hot oil season witha good kick balanced with three pancakes and syrup. A full meal and quite tasty. Had a group of 9 and the meal was served prompt and the reservation was on time. Another good meal find in the Domain.

GREAT

By Woodsman248 |

130 Beers on tap what could be better... Well the food,it is really good, the egg roll appetizers are really good and the Hamburger is better than Hopdoddy's. The bacon in the Bloody Mary's is the best. The service was great, Josh did an outstanding job. I have nothing bad at all to say about our experience

Garlic Fries!

By 2cool4theroom |

The garlic fries are out of this world. I had them with the black truffle cheeseburger - house-made truffle cheese and tomato bacon onion jam - perfection. It takes you a while to go through the menu, plus there are 130 beers on tap. Luckily, my favorite Stella Artois is one of them. The service was professional and friendly. The place feels a bit like a high end sports bar, but the quality of the food surpasses what you would expect at a sports bar.

Great place for beer, uneven on the food

By Tony H |

This weird fusion pub/asian/comfort food place is a new chain spreading across the finer malls and developments. The beer selection is unparalleled, I think they have like 164 beers available. Their beer list is like a fine wine list and they will let you taste at least two. I recommend starting that way and trying some of the more exotic ones (whiskey barrel aged beer is tasty!). However, we tried a few of the items and they were mediocre at best (fish and chips, onion ring tower) To be fair, we didnt try any of the signature items, like lobster mac and cheese. Honestly they seemed a bit heavy and rich but we will return and give them another chance.

Fantastic place with excellent service

By VacaySean |

First time here, but I will definitely be back. I had the skirt steak salad and it was amazing! The icing on the cake was our server, Andrew W! Never an empty glass and always a smile! We will be back soon and will definitely ask for Andrew!

I love the atmosphere! Food selection is always amazing! I have been so looking forward to the new location opening here in Austin.

Good brews

By CoachJWoodard |

Stopped here today for a couple of beers before meeting friends for dinner. Great happy hour specials with beers and appetizers. Great selection of beers and a decent selection of top notch whiskeys.

Great restaurant!

By Sara76502 |

Great spacious restaurant with good food and a large menu. Big burger with fries and large salad wash our favorite.

Love Yard House!

By Jennifer W |

I picked Yard House as the starting point for my birthday celebration this year. We had a miscommunication amongst our group as to how many people were going to show up, so when the first guests arrived they gave a lower number than we needed. By the time everyone in our group showed up, we needed more table space. At 7:30pm on a Saturday in the Domain, I wasn't sure Yard House would help us seat everyone. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!! The manager and our waitperson both came over and added a new table on to ours to make sure everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. Thank you, Yard House!! I have eaten here a few times and I have never had anything less than delicious! Everyone in my party loved everything they ordered. I was in a Mint Julep kind of mood that night, so that's what I ordered and they were fantastic. Yard House also has an amazing beer selection. One of my friends ordered a hard-to-find-on-tap beer and he was a happy guy. I highly recommend Yard House for good drinks, great food and fantastic service!

Lovely steak

By Sue F |

Popped in early doors for a meal for one. Served straight way. Opted for sirloin , beautiful and tender and cooked perfectly. Broccoli was too hard but the potato stack gorgeous. Varied menu but very calorific- no healthy options even the salads were high. Quite glad as I loved the potato but means you couldn’t come often. Quirky iPads to order which is a bit of fun. Good vibe and lively place - imagine it be great fun for a crowd

Chillax in comfort while your spouse wanders Domain for hours 'shopping'

By Centaur4 |

The brand new Yard House Sports Bar is perfectly placed to support the man of the house while his better half shops for hours in the Domain. The GF menu is extensive compared to other local restaurant/sports bars and the service is great. The wide selection of beer, wine etc will support all tastes. Highly recommended!

Fun place to hangout after work.

By Gdo_Castillo |

Nice place to hangout after work and wind down after a busy day at work or life. Ciders at this place are good.

Great food & patio at Domain

By Merblyn |

Fried chicken breast was great as well as the sides of mashed potatoes, gravy, beans & corn. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food as well. Jambalaya was a winner, as well as the lobster artichoke dip & steak salad. Very good! Nice outdoor patio & great place to hang out. Only downside for us was that the Music was really loud on the patio, which made it hard to talk

Good food, nice atmosphere, bit noisy

By Glen M |

Went it after a long flight and it has a nice choice of food done well. Servers and staff where pleasant. Choose of beverages was adequate. It's good selection overall. Open space leads to noise and so it's not awuiet romantic night out.

a bit noisy (loudish music) but fantastic place

By wan001 |

i had a steak with some roasted/fried brussel sprouts that were amazing. the brown rice was average. other than a bit noisy, top notch. the jambalaya my coworker had looked fantastic as well. will return.

Great food great service

By Grady C |

Food was awesome we had Ahi nachos and lobster, crab, shrimp and garlic noodles. Amazing taste well seasoned. Service was great and friendly never had an empty glass. My only knock was the music was a little loud. Made it hard to talk. That being said I will go back. I admit I ate some before the pictures lol smelled so yummy 😋

ALWAYS good!

By Ang S |

We consistently.get good service and really good food here. Even on the busiest times they manage to get you in fairly quickly and are always polite about any wait. Husband enjoys the Mahi Mahi, I like the Filipino Lumpia. Great lobster pasta! We have been many times, we take friends and family who come to town. We go a lot and will continue.

Best place to be for dinner in the weekend

By Peter N |

Great food and friendly staff in this sports bar restaurant. outdoor seats and great food. Over 100 different beers are served and you never miss a sports game.

Great food even though a chain restaurant

By Maps18631 |

The location of this restaurant at the Domain is top! Large space with lots of customers and pretty loud and exciting with very efficient service. Lots and lots of menu options and variety of food and drinks offered. Mine was a parmesan crusted pork with a yummy bourbon sauce.... so plentiful and so good.

Incredible variety of draft beers!

By tulioy16 |

I've been to sports bars all over the country, and the yard house has one of the most impressive selection of draft beers. You can get a 4-pack to sample some before ordering the pint as well. Place is nice and clean, with good service. Burgers could be a bit better, though. Nonetheless, we love it over there.

Good lunch

By Mac D |

I got a pizza half the lunch meeting. It was a pepperoni and mushroom and it was very good. The service was excellent. Very convenient from the hotels in the area. Lots of shopping nearby.

Fun Option for the Domain Area

By Counterweight |

I recently had lunch here with my son on a Sunday afternoon. We had tried to get into a couple other places first, but ended up pretty happy here as a fall-back option. The outdoor area is not as large as several of the other restaurants in the area, but we were happy that we could still get seated outdoors. They have several large screen TVs inside and out, so you can catch "your game" (along with several other games) if your sports addiction needs filling. The seating was comfortable, and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I tried one of their devil tacos, I really enjoyed the cheese stuffing in the shell. The Korean short rib was decent but not as tasty as I had hoped. I thought the guacamole had a nice kick, they could have thrown in a few more chips in my opinion though. The clam chowder was underwhelming, but the cheese pizza was lauded by my son as "one of his new favorites". We brought some of it home, and my daughter had it for lunch the next day and was equally impressed. They have an impressive beer selection as well. I wouldn't call the Yard House the "finest dining" at the Domain, but it's solid, appropriately-priced and overall tasty. It's also a great place to get together with family and/or friends to watch a game, or just hang out and people watch or enjoy an evening together. It's pretty easy to find parking (though you may have to walk a bit), there are parking garages in a couple directions that are only a few blocks away.

Love their Shrimp tacos - crispy, tasty shrimp

By Zinnia queen |

Stopped in here after shopping. Really great shrimp tacos and good carnitas tacos, though I would probably not order the carnitas again. My husband had the French dip with fries. Fries were great - I didnt try his sandwich. Kind of hard to steal it away from him for a taste. Our server was attentive and food came out pretty quickly. Lots of diners at lunch.

great calamari!

By TNGsWorld |

Music is a bit too loud when seated near bar area. However, food and drinks are good. Many draft beers and cocktails to choose from. The burgers are not the largest in town. I like the regular fries as well as sweet potato fries. The dragon fruit cosmo had an artistic design floating on top. I've also tried the lavender drop which is outstanding, must try! The kale & romaine salad was nice, not overdressed - will definitely order again. My son liked watching the Premiere League soccer game from our booth. Two of the restroom stalls were out of order. Our server was good and checked on us regularly. Food came out quickly! Nice that the parking garage is right behind it so easy access.

Food good, beer better!

By Liz J |

I remeber the food being good, but I definitely remember the drinks being better! The array of beer is magnificent. The bartender was so patient and kind, allowing me to try several beers through my little visit to the bar while catching up with a friend. The bar is huge, staff very friendly, and if you don’t find something you like food or drink wise, I would be shocked.

130 Taps at the Domain

By Bobcat1994 |

Visited twice in one weekend and plan to go back very soon. Huge menu and the food is excellent! If you are planning a trip to the Domain or you are there right now, do yourself a favor and get over there. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic experience.

Great selection and very good service

By Bill78727 |

Had a couple of people suggest Yard House as a new lace to try in the Domain area and went for an early Happy Hour. It was everything you would expect from a beer bar serving 100+ on tap. Huge selection and friendly staff. Large portions and wide variety on the menu. Are at the bar and will go back and try dinner next time.

Great Place to Grab a Drink and Recover from Shopping!

By Cynthia473 |

First time to visit this shopping complex and dropped in for a beer. Great place to do so. Huge selection of drafts and decent bar food. TVs, music and lots of people watching. The music was not to loud and you could actually sit at the bar and make friends. Would go back again. I ordered the sliders and my husband enjoyed their tacos.

Dinner night with family

By jadereyna9 |

Food was great. Staff was very nice and attentive. Prices are reasonable as plates are big and drinks are worth it. Nice clean place very well kept. Will be back when back in Austin

Lunch and beer...

By Jason H |

I finally made it to the Yard House last week and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was very good. The sweet potato fries as side were good as well. Overall good experience, good service in a place that has over 100 beers on tap, I'll be back again for sure.

YUM-O, and ales galore

By Denise D |

This place has consistently good burgers and assorted dishes. We have been there twice, and plan to return. They are just a tiny bit pricey, but compared to the fancy restaurants at the Domain, this is a steal. The assortment of beers on tap is amazing!

Fantastic

By Karyn P |

Food was awesome! We had burgers which were really good and the egg roll appetizer, I forget the name, but they were superb!! Flavors were perfectly blended and very moist. Beer selection was crazy....they have so many on tap! Service was great too. My new favorite place!

Delicious food.

By Bhavna Darira Chesan |

We ate dinner here with my family. They had a good menu and many options to choose from. We ordered the shrimp, avocado toast, nachos and chips. Our favourite was the nachos. Service was quick and our server was very kind and gave us good suggestions.

Wide variety of options

By okiecruiser4331 |

Was in the Domain area for work training and this restaurant is a great choice. Many, many options if you are trying to satisfy a variety of folks too. Sports bar atmosphere and nice large accommodations inside and patio seating if you prefer. Loved the crab cake!

a meet and greet

By texastraveller77 |

met a new friend at a patio rendevous, servers (Alex, Terri, Emma) were frankly very good and lusciously engaging. Manager Kylie (not sure 'bout spelling), was cordial and got the ceiling heaters on for me and my guest (was a bit cool with a breeze). Guatemole was really yummy, chips were fresh, duck legs were quite good (but messy for a meet and greet rendevous! but knife and fork conquered!). my guest was vegetarian (and already had a good late lunch, but bragged on ghe V options!)... and location has a wonderfully high population of drop dead gorgeous ladies!!!! wish I lived closer!!!

Yard House just opened

By Jonathangreenlee |

I heard they opened so I have given them a try for Lunch. I had the BBQ Chicken salad and it was very good. The Staff was very friendly (but they are just opened so they are on their best behavior!) They have a large bar but also booths and an outdoor patio area. The windows give you a good view of - the construction zone of the Rock Rose area, which will obviously improve over time as they complete development at The Domain. They have free WiFi, but it is slow - only enough to check email or Facebook.

Son’s citizenship ceremony.

Excellent service and awesome food. I was able to have a different kind of nachos with raw fish & seaweed. Definitely one for the books the right amount of flavors added to the mix. Merlot wine was one of the best I’ve tried yet.

Excellent Beer Selections!

By J M |

So many choices of excellent beers, many local. Options for fights of beer as well. Delicious fresh food and wonderful service. Great space to have a leisurely meal or quick business dinner. Loved the vibe and location!

Big selection, worth to go ...and go back again.

By grbr07 |

Late drinks with some snacks during a cold December evening. Was pretty empty but had a good vibe.. Biggg selection of beers ...for all kinds of taste direction. You can even sample before you decide. Snacks were great, and came quite fast. Waiter very polite and helpful, prices reasonable. Nice for bigger groups like 6 to 10, can be even fun by the bar. Definitely a go!

Very nice spot.

By JSLoveis13 |

Went here with family and friends and love love love. The food was delicious. The ambiance was nice. I ordered the ginger crusted salmon (magnificent) everyone loved there dishes. I will definitely be back.

A very Thanksgiving experience

By CritDicks |

Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings? Visiting my Austin based son for the holidays, we decided to land here before heading back home the following day. I didn’t pick Yard House, but out of convenience, I decided to go along. While I was looking toward a “traditional” turkey dinner prepared by a restaurant chain, the others in our small group had the regular menu items of sandwiches, wraps and wings. Problem was they all assisted me in eating all of my outstanding fixin’s. I had the very good Fried Nashville Hot Turkey. All of it, very good and very satisfying of this CritDicks experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. CritDicks

Great selection terrible bar service

By Atl4life |

Went on a weekday and the bartender was absolutely clueless on how to make drinks and had a bad attitude, I would not go back and we left a 10% tip so i would assume she knows who i am talking about

Great Burgers

By treborz64 |

Came here after the pub crawl for beer sponges. Burgers were fantastic. Sat at the bar near closing time but that didn't affect their service or food quality.

Impressive Pub

By Kyllito |

The Yard House may be a chain restaurant, but they are very impressive. They have a ton of beer on tap, as well as some unique food offerings. Our party of six definitely enjoyed ourselves and we will be back there soon. In fact, just a couple weeks later and was just as impressed again.

..unpleasant and too loud , unable to have conversation at table..

By imrandz |

This is not the first time we dine in Yard House. We love that place, however, we recently become overcrowded and extremely loud, to the level of not being able to have normal conversations at the table. We get our table way back ,close to the kitchen, and restrooms entry. We asked twice politely to be switched,to some other area where less noise , you cant barely hear waiters when he asked question how loud music come from ceiling. Nothing happened, he said something, like manager will check if we can be seated somewhere else, of course no one cares .nothing happened. To even worse, it was close to us , next to our table was some group of Indian office workers for gathering dinner or whatever was, and few of them kept standing all time pushing and rubbing our seats literally by back ,with kahky pants half down showing they underwear..what a view for a couple dinner..we left the restorant with disgusting feelings, looks that standard and ethical importance not game here around. Also, crew at restorant are busy, but they should respect our quest for other table, not just let it be situation ..we will think twice before we open that door again..

Great spot for lunch

By JDH_AustinTx |

We frequently have lunch here when in the Domain area. We have tried several places nearby, but always come back to Yard House. Everything we’ve had there has been good. The steak sandwich is one of our favorites. Big menu, lots of draught beer choices.

Great Burgers..by Mistake

By musictraveler40 |

So, my co-workers and I rolled up on Yard House thinking we were going to another Yard joint that had just made a heat list for great burgers. Alas, we discovered we were in the wrong place - but we stayed and didn't regret it. Sit at the bar. Great service. Had the BBQ Bacon burger, it was fantastic. String fries, delicious. Endless tea. Good price for the real estate and the food. Overall, a great choice and we'll probably go back.

Great Bartenders!

By Cosmo W |

Typical Yardhouse, and while I am beer drinker, several people in my party where cocktail lovers and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to see some awesome craft cocktails come from the friendly bartenders. I didn't have dinner, but did have some snacks, and they were good as well. They have a nice outside seating area, and I did notice that all the staff- greeters, to servers to bartenders- all seem genuinely happy to see you there and want you to have fun!

Expected so much more...

By Denise A |

I understand trying to do different things with food to try and make them stand out, it’s what makes places unique. I honestly wanted to leave after our appetizer, but I did the grown thing and stuck it out until the end of our meal. Whomever told them that sushi should be a big pile of dog looking food, like what the heck??!! That was the weirdest spicy tuna roll I’ve ever eaten, and it was super salty and disgusting! Stick to normal sushi, it’s better! Then my super expensive pasta, with lobster, shrimp and crab, blah blah blah, like 1 piece of lobster and only 1 ravioli had a piece of shrimp. Each piece of ravioli was dripping in butter or oil, idk, but who the hell eats that way. On the other hand, my fiancé loved his sandwich and the dessert trio we shared was delicious as well. The peach cobbler is a must, I’ve never had something so tasty! The pineapple cider we both had was also delicious. Our server was great, she came by regularly to check up on us. I obviously didn’t tell her about the food, to not make a big fuss there but I’m sure she would have handled it. I’d give the place itself another shot, but I definitely wouldn’t try the spicy tuna roll or that pasta again! Too pricey and definitely NOT worth the money!

Big group dinner

By Karl G |

We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. I believe there were 9 people. Everyone loved the food. The service was excellent, I'm sorry I forgot her name, she was very nice, good sense of humor. No pressure for us to order quickly but right there whenever we needed.

Good, Usual Yard House

By vld17 |

Good place for happy hour, large bar area, lots of beer on tap. Food can be pricey so we do not go that often but it is good. Tomato soup and grilled cheese is very yummy.

Useless and expensive.

By tarajog |

Useless and expensive. Not much variety of beers as advertised. No value for money. so service. Ok ambience. No complementary snacks like in Mexican bars or pubs. Not a great crowd.

For those who love food and beer

By Tim S |

We are so happy that the Yard House has come to Austin. We first dined at the Yard House in Denver and it was an instant hit. So, as soon as we heard they were in the Domain, we went to check it out. Let me start by saying that Yard House has has at least 130 beers on tap. You can order the beers in a small glass or pint glass and some beers are available in a huge glass. We found our server to be quite knowledgable about almost every beer and she said she had tasted most of the 130 on tap (lucky lady). She was willing to bring us a sample of any beer we wanted to try before we decided on one to buy. In addition to beer (of which they have a large selection of local brews) they also have hard ciders, wine, sangria and a full bar. The food is tasty! Their menu is extensive and will satisfy anyone from vegans to carnivores and anyone in between. The atmosphere is casual so it fits right into the Austin scene. In addition to sitting inside (where they have many large screen TV's tuned to various sporting events) they have a covered patio that is heated in the winter and has cooling water misters in the summer. One additional note. Don't be discouraged when you drive by and see no parking near the front. There is a parking garage on the opposite side of the building. Just park there, walk through the breezeway and the Yard House will be on your right. This is a cool new place, you should check it out!

Excellent selection, great taste, outstanding service

By Doc L |

The highlights were the lobster pasta my friend had and the ahi poke that I had. Wonderful flavors, filling (maybe a bit too much), and well presented. Service was timely and attentive. Overall and excellent experience. The only negative is that all of the hard surfaces make it challenging to carry on a conversation because all of the ambient noise from other diners.

Celiacs and gluten sensitive, rejoice!........

By roamingnoni |

My daughter was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, so must avoid any and all gluten and cross contamination from such. Dining out has become less than joyful, when most restaurants can't reassure her that they can meet her needs(it is hard in most small kitchens to use separate cutting boards and utensils). Yard House has an extensive gluten sensitive menu for those with gluten allergy or those who have simply chosen to go gluten free, in addition to their varied regular menu. The manager met with her when we arrived and was able to assure her that their kitchen staff is trained on avoiding cross contamination on grills and other surfaces, changing gloves, etc. when they are made aware of true celiac disease. We had several fantastic meals there and she was able to actually eat with the family. Bonus is that their fare is so fantastically flavorful, gluten free and otherwise. I had the kale caesar, with the most delicious light dressing ever, along with the pastrami sandwich on a yummy roll. Others had burgers, pizzas, and a lobster noodle dish. My daughter especially enjoyed the quinoa salad, over mixed greens, feta, and a variety of other vegetables and seeds. This salad is served in a huge metal salad bowl, sharable by 2-3 people. One can add different proteins to the salads if desired. My birthday creme brûlée with bananas foster was a luscious treat. We didn't imbibe, but beer here seems to be the theme, with quite an array. Ambiance indoors is sports bar, with TVs set on various games. 70's- 80's music plays a bit loud, owing to the hard floors and ceilings. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for this high quality. At the moment, the Yard House is surrounded by construction in that part of the Domain, but it is well worth locating and frequenting often to make your way through all their unique offerings. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Great Place to Celebrate with Friends

By Susan V |

We had a large party of 10 which was seated promptly- with a reservation. Drinks and appetizers were tasty and dinner that followed was prepared to order and presented nicely. Many different beers available. The service was prompt and not overbearing. Did not feel rushed to finish.Very nice evening.

Happy Hour!!!!!!!!

By HSPBER789 |

You won't leave the Yard House disappointed - #YUM

By Jeana R |

My husband & I had another fabulous trip to Austin, TX. We don't eat out very often, as we try to control our intake of calories, sugar and fat. We both were excited to get to take our daughter & her boyfriend out for dinner, and the Yard House was top on the list for options. We made our decision based on the perk of being able to do "call ahead seating". This was a plus for us as we were exhausted from our trip into town. This was our second visit to this particular Yard House, which is located in the #Domain #AustinTX. Each visit has been awesome. Corey M. took care of us on our first trip & Gregg R. was our waiter this last visit. Both were very attentive, knowledgable about food & drink items, and treated us as if they were delighted we were seated in their area; both guys were so sweet. We enjoyed margaritas and the house IPA's, all of which were #delish. We feasted on Black Truffle cheeseburgers, Blackened Chicken Torta and the meal that made us all #jealous...Nashville Hot Chicken; also known as #ChickenNWaffles. It was OH so delicious, it left us wanting more. My husband thoroughly enjoys the Yard House, as he LOVES beer and the Yard House offers over 100+ beers on tap. He is like a kid in a candy shop, savoring every flavor! I'm not big on beer, so on our first trip I tried the Pomegranate Press Martini, it was awesome. Their sour mix isn't too sour, and it's not too sweet. Just a perfect blend that creates an excellent margarita regardless of tequila; on this last visit to the Yard House I had a margarita with an Anejo and my husband's was Patron silver, both were equally #tasty. You won't leave the Yard House disappointed, ask for Corey M. or Gregg R., they'll take excellent care of you and your group!

Nice job of looking after our group

By andrewpderry |

We came here as a group of 17. The Staff were great with us - very attentive. The for was great too, even through we ordered everything separately from the menu (we didn't do set meals). All in all, great job Yard House!

Learn to cook a steak

By hoopsman86 |

We visited late on a Friday night after an event at UT. I ordered the filet and requested that it be cooked medium. The steak arrived seared about an eighth of an inch on both sides and raw all the way through. The steak barely had a temperature and wasn’t even cooked enough to release juices. I ate the outside edges and left the rest. If you are going to charge $30 plus for an 8 oz steak, please have someone with some training do the cooking.

Great food

By we485 |

I have made 2 visits to this place in the last couple of weeks. Food was excellent. Service was perfect atmosphere is awesome. No complaints. Menu is very diverse and different. Try the truffle fry's, you won't be disappointed.

Chain Eatery in a Great Location

By MiamiLouH |

Very good food and reasonably priced. I had the faux chicken (Gardein) and it was quite tasty.Burgers were good as the salads.

Great service and good food!

By Texaslonghorn31 |

We had a group of 20 go in today for a work lunch get together. As we had scheduled in advance our table was ready at the appropriate time and we were seated upon arrival. The place was pretty much packed but we had two servers for our group that rocked it. They got drinks, appetizers and then our meals out in a timely manner and even comped an order that was wrong. There is an extensive beer and alcohol selection. I had the Super Awesome beer and it was great. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Good stuff

I will first start off by saying the I he tuna sandwich my friend got looked amazing and tasted delicious. I went for the fish and chips and I will say with all honesty the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Big super tender filet’s. The breading was light and crispy. Even the fries were delicious. They have a bazillion beers on tap which makes everybody happy. I live in South Austin and they are located in North Austin. Totally worth the drive

I Dream about the Pork Burger!!

By Christine A |

Sweet Mother of Hops and Grains! "So much beer and so little time," said my man. they have 130 on tap daily. This is Beer Heaven. And just look at the wine list! Several import options which make me very happy. We arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday and the place was already flowing with happy beer folks. And then there's the Kurobuta Pork Burger with a giant slab of candied bacon, Jack cheese, arugula and blueberry ketchup that a Kitchen Angel blessed. Salty and rich with a dark sweet molasses sauce and a side salad was perfect. Our table shared the onion ring tower and Ahi Tuna apps. I suggest going early to take advantage of their happy hour and grab a table on the patio. You meet the nicest people outside including a beautiful Vizsla named "Ruger". Casey was an attentive friendly server and who thrilled us with his dinner suggestions.

Outstanding Menu

By Janette Agueze |

I've dined at this location multiple times, and I love that I can always find whatever I'm in the mood for. On my recent visit, I started with the Poke Nachos and then moved on to the Lobster Garlic Noodles, prepared with shrimp, crab, lobster, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, and parmesan - everything was OUTSTANDING. It was the best pasta dish I've had in quite a while. I paired it with a nice Chardonnay and left a very happy woman. I'm giving it a 4 because the service is not always consistent, but management does a great job of righting any wrongs. I highly recommend!!

Nothing Special Here

By David A |

This was an average restaurant in every sense: food, service, ambiance. I ordered a turkey club with mashed potatoes. The potatoes arrived cold and in a ball that looked like they had been sitting in a pot for hours. When I told the waitress she immediately volunteered to replace them which she did a few minutes later. The second batch was no better than the first. When she came back a few minutes later she asked, "better?" When I replied, "marginally," she says, "okay good." How is that good? I didn't eat an ounce of the terrible potatoes and when she cleared the table she completely ignored the fact that I didn't touch them. This was really poor customer service, even more so because they weren't busy. My club sandwich was okay as was my daughter's pasta dish. I would not recommend this place - many better options in the "domain" and surrounding area.

Good food, better service

By Sandi R |

Met a friend for lunch. The weather was good (for once in Austin) so we sat outside. Although they are located in a busy shopping area the noise level was not bad at all. Aaron was our server and he could not have been more attentive. He had good suggestions on food selection and was knowledgeable about the menu. We did not feel rushed even though we sat and visited for over an hour after we finished eating.

Beer! Yes! Food! No!

By Texasfamily98 |

I really want to like this place... and I do - but just for the beer. Let me start with the amazing selection of draft beers in a cool setting. Add the ability to order a 1/2 yard glass of your favorite - or test a number of new beers in smaller glasses - and you have a winner. If this review was just on that alone, it would have been a 5. Now the bad part - the food. First - I don't consider myself a food snob, and eat most everything... but there seems to be only one way they prepare food in this restaurant and that is DEEP fried. Not the nice crunchy-fried level, but we are talking the soaking in grease and deep fried level. Its just too much. I can feel my arteries clogging as I eat. And... it isn't really tasty to me. The deep frying makes all the food taste pretty much the same. Get me a better menu and I think this place is a winner.

It's a nice, modern beer house

By JWK1969 |

I've been to a Yard House before (different location), so this was not much of a surprise. By calling it average, I don't mean to run it down. It has a long list of beer and it's a clean place. But it's not that much greater than other beer establishments in the area. If you're in the mood for a half-yard of beer, this is the place for you.

Great selection of Beer, Handcrafted Cocktails, and Good Food!

By Jamie W |

My husband and I frequent Yard House a lot, mainly because the atmosphere is relaxing, the food is good, and it's walking distance from our apartment. They have a great selection of beer, make some mean cocktails, and a nice food menu. Mondays are awesome here because they have happy hour prices all night long. I don't love beer, but if I decide on one, it's Austin East Cider. My husband likes the Honey Blonde and the 903 Land of Milk and Honey. The different flavors for the Old Fashioned is awesome and the Sweet Tart Martini and Pineapple Express are great! I think my favorite thing to eat at Yard House is the Chicken Lettuce Wraps-love the peanut sauce that it is served with!! And they give you plenty of filling for the lettuce wraps, which is great! My husband likes the Kale Caesar Salad and the Boneless Wings, but his favorite is the Vampire Tacos. We had friends visit us and they all LOVED the vampire tacos. If you come to the Domain Northside, check out Yard House. It's great for everyone!

Amazing Food it is a crime!

By Chubby Diaries |

I really love this place and my family does too! Their happy hour menu maybe the best happy hour menu in America... The happy hour entrées are massive and the food is so delicious! I have went to Yard house multiple times in the past month! So I totally recommend this place!

Try the Fish and Chips

By Natalie B |

We spent about $100 for 4 adults and 1 child. This included appetizer and desserts for 2. Great value for the price and the food was very good. We ordered online and picked at the front door using 15 minute parking. This Fish and Chips were really good as well as the carrot cake.

This is it- you want ice cold beer? Cocktails? Great food? You are done searching.

By AsiaTr0tter |

Great environment- it is a bit noisy- could use some sound baffling but this is the best restaurant/pub/bar i have visited in Austin- hands down. The happy hour is awesome- staff on my visits has been great. What else you want?

Over a hundred beers on tap and delicious menu

By hippiekit |

We visited the Yard House at the Domain in Austin Texas. There's a huge bar in the Middle with over a hundred beers on tap but it's not your typical bar food. I had grouper I believe, and my partner had the salmon. Large portions of delicious food, plus they have a whole vegetarian menu and a great atmosphere. The Manager actually came over the table as we were finishing up just to check and see how everything was, we liked that. I would highly recommend this place.

Never Saw So Many Tap Beers

By BobtheBuilder39 |

In doubt? Try a sampler. Just tell the waiter or bartender your favorite beers and they will offer a sampler with choices of similar beers. The tap room is cooled to 37 degrees and the beer is fed to taps through chilled piping. Good menu choices, but food was average. Fun place.

Expensive Even At Happy Hour

By docwhiteaustin |

Five of us had drinks and appetizers at happy hour. Extensive array of beers and cocktails, but still quite expensive at HH prices. Appetizers were mostly tasty with our favorites being the seared ahi tuna sashimi and salad. Crab cakes were of a frozen package quality. Really expected better quality all around for the prices charged. Just not as "upscale" as they pretend to be.

Good Burger and beers

By CyclingGeo |

The Yard House offers an extensive craft beer list and good food. I had a tasty burger. The bartenders were friendly and efficient.

It's Alright

By pdSixty8 |

I had to come to the Domain Northside and felt hungry since it was around 11:00 AM. Most places open were very busy and I walked around the corner and saw the Yard House. I entered and it appeared to be a in-house beer brewery. They do not served brunch but still tried one of their mimosas. It was ok. I ordered a burger and it tasted good. This place was not too busy. You can see pipes from the beer brewery tanks travel on the ceiling directly to the bar which was kind of cool. I should have tried a beer but again it was 11:00 AM. The staff was nice and will try this place again during the evening. It is mainly an adult hangout compared to the other restaurants here

Yet another poor experience

By Rory L |

Been here 4-5 times over the last 3 years on business trips and keep giving them benefit of the doubt and another chance but continues to be a disappointment. Initial experiences were all about v rude staff but can’t say that about latest visit where it was shocking undercooked and general poor food experience where I had to wait 10-15 mins for my sides...luckily my main was so poor it didn’t matter as that went back to the kitchen. Bar staff were great on this occasion in terms of being friendly and understanding. It’s always something though when I go here leaves a bad impression

Great bar in Austin!

By Thepik |

This place has sports bar vibes. The place was really busy but the service was not neglected. The food and appetizers were great and quick to come out. They have an incredible beer list on tap and many TVs to catch the games.

Great Service, Great Food

By Dylan G |

I forgot our waitresses name but she was very friendly and accommodating to a food allergy and helped us out with recommendations, she was awesome. Food was just as good as other Yard House locations and met up with the standards. Will be back.

Huge Bar

By jeneeclayton |

Every beer or cocktail that you can imagine is tapped around this bar!! Nice service by Jessica!! The food was great portioned. We didn't have to wait too long either. Visiting Austin for vacay but this would be a place to return if we lived local.

Can We Say Chicken Nachos? Yes We Can!

By MamaBear PopTart |

Okay, this was our first visit and it had been a while since our last visit to the Domain so we were not aware of this restaurant. Let's just say we will be back. We went during Happy Hour so certain Appetizers were discounted. With that piece of information I decided that I would try the grilled mushroom lettuce wraps and the chicken nachos. Our waitress, Shovonne (ph) affirmed that the nachos were an excellent choice and would be more than enough for our table of 5 to share. May I just say the serving was so large that we had to ask for a to go box because my family had also ordered their own appetizers and entrees and they were ample as well. Everything was not only pleasing to the eye but was seasoned just right and was piping hot when brought out. We need to go back very soon and I am sure that after my 4th or 5th visit I will try something else but for now I am only interested in eating more of their Chicken Nachos! I know they had beans, cheese, chips and chicken of course on them, but I don't know whether it was different kinds of cheese or the onions or sauces or what, I just know they are worth going back for. You will have to try them for yourselves to see what I mean. I guess I should let you know that my family also enjoyed what they ordered, Moo Shu Egg Rolls, Fried Calamari, Fried Chicken Strips and Fries, a Pepper Crusted Gorgonzola Burger and Fries and Nashville Hot Chicken with Sweet Potato Pancakes. Oh, and they have great desserts too! I think we have found our new go to spot at the Domain.

Just another Domain eatery

By fww2 |

The food was good, the service was not (we waited and waited for our server). we went for happy hour but could have avoided it and gone somewhere else instead.

Great beer selection

By Peter W |

They must have a hundred beers on tap. Jambalaya is awesome and if you get the larger portion you can feed a small family!

Nice atmosphere, good drinks..... parking...not so good.

By betty b |

Stopped in today at Yard House at the Domain today for an afternoon cocktail with a friend. The pub is pretty, lots of table and the menu selection is large and worth checking out for sure. We tried the watermelon and house margaritas; which were both very good. The beer selection is also very good. Although we did not have food the poke nachos are supposedly excellent. The staff was friendly and I do look going back for dinner or lunch. The only draw back is the parking is tough but that is the Domain, not an issue with Yard House. Overall I say it is a great add to the restaurant/bar line up at the Domain Austin. Give it a try!

Nothing Special

By Erika K |

Weak ”sports bar”. Subpar bar food and overall ambiance. Do not come here. Management sucks, drinks are overpriced. Discriminative of actual sports fans. Lame.

Great Happy Hour!

By TheBeachUnicorn |

Stopped in here during our shopping afternoon. The happy hour menu is great! We shared poke nachos, Korean boneless wings, cheese curds, and calamari. There were 3 adults and a toddler, and we weren’t able to finish everything. Service was genuine and friendly, clean bathrooms, and a family restroom. We sat on the patio.

Too loud and can not have

By Sam |

Too loud and can not have a decent conversation. We went there with office folks, waited an hour for the table but very underwhelming

Say Cheers!

GET THE POKE NACHOS.... You're welcome

By Taylor K |

We went here for our work christmas party last year and I haven't stopped coming here since! Great atmosphere, helpful waiters, amazing beer/cocktail selections. We had a little of everything so I'll keep it to my top favorites- but seriously everything is good!!! I was obviously in the sushi kind of mood, so my list is mainly ahi tuna based. 1. Poke Nachos - Just do it. They are amazing, your taste buds will thank you. 2. El Picante - I love margaritas & I love spicy. This is a margarita with a fresh grilled/charred jalapeno slice, it's not too spicy but it definitely packs a punch. We also got truffle fries, wisconsin fried cheese curds, almost all of the appetizers and some jerk chicken. It was all amazing. The beer I liked the most was a pear flavored one- don't ask me the name because there was honestly such a huge selection I just told the waiter what I liked and he delivered! Definitely a great spot for work events, family and friend gatherings.

Best happy hour anywhere!!!

By Chubby Diaries |

Guys I cannot express it enough that Yard House has the best happy hour in the world! Why do I say that? Because it is one of the only restaurants that gives you the full entre for an afordable price and the selection is massive! Not to mention that the food is incredible. Also there is nothing that I have had their that wasn't good and we've been several times! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!!

Great beer selection, honesty food - a bit loud.

By Michael |

The beer selection is, of course, outstanding. The menu is what one would expect at a modern beer pub and is prepared very well. The only complaint I have is that they play fairly loud music, even on the outdoor terrace it is hard to find a table where one can have a reasonable conversation.

Great Food Good Service

By Born2Travel57 |

We have eaten at the Yard House many times. The menu has a great selection and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the Nashville Hot Chicken with Sweet Potato Pancakes. Last time we went it was happy hour so we ordered off the happy hour menu. The Lettuce Wraps and the Chicken Nachos were delicious. Yard House is our go to dinner place when we are at the domain.

Nice meal

By Lorry T |

I enjoyed the filet mignon with the tuna appetizer. We were there during happy hour. It was not very busy. Service was good. The filet was cooked well. I had a salad and ordered blue cheese dressing. It arrived doused in ranch. The salad was disappointing. Otherwise the meal was very good.

AMAZING

By Taylor C |

The poke nachos were SOOOO GOOD!! No cheese but simply delicious, this was such good service I highly recommend to anyone in Austin Texas! The whole plaza is great

Delicious

By sjbeacham316 |

I had just a bite to eat here, and it was very good. I had a vampire taco and it was delicious. The outside seating was very nice and this restaurant is located in a very nice part of town. Great place to go with a group of friends.

Tasty NEW place at the Domain

By Pawel P |

We had lettuce wraps and they were absolutely amazing (good portion to get 2 people going). Pizza was also delicious....overall a great alternative to all well established places at the Domain

Very good.

By dhoort |

Celebrated the day after Christmas; shopping and lunch at the Yard House. The Brussels sprouts, deviled eggs and guacamole appetizers were delicious. We also recommend the chicken rice bowl, red quinoa salad, BBQ pizza combo with the tomato bisque soup, and the Korean BBQ beef entries. Delicious!

Love this place!

By rrcoopers |

Met some friends at Yard House for dinner and drinks. Great service, wonderful food, and lots of drink choices. One of our friends is a vegan, and he really appreciated the variety of the menu.

Yummy!

By Teresa D |

Great Happy Hour and good food. A million great beers and good service. What's not to like? We had a good time and it was conveniently located to our hotel.

Delicious Lunch

By hickster2014 |

We enjoyed a good lunch here. Service fine although waitress could’ve tried to crack a smile. Check out the menu, interesting fresh options.

Favorite place on our trip

By Brandi B |

Really liked the energy here. Gluten free options and a very large kid menu. The food was awesome, lamb burger in a lettuce wrap and Brussels for me. My husband had street tacos and the kids got free ice cream after. Lots of people out having fun. It was a perfect ending to our trip.

Great brewery and eats!

By Denise D |

We've been twice to the Yard House. The atmosphere is sports-bar brewery, but it wasn't too noisy, especially at lunch. We're not big beer drinkers, but the selection was enormous. The menu items cover a good selection - always vegetarian & GF options, too. Prices are moderate. There are TVs everywhere, and the one on the patio was CNBC instead of a sports channel. Thank you for the option! The only downside was the disappearing waiter when mice tea refills were needed.

Favorite spot at Domain Northside!

By Nakstrani |

This is turning out to be our favorite spot at Domain Northside. We've been here on multiple occasions & the experience has always been good. There is usually a wait for dining so I would suggest reservations. We've always chosen to sit outside which is quieter than the inside (with a better music in the background). The heaters tend to keep the space warm enough for a pleasurable dining experience. Good selection of beers & usual cocktails. All the food we've tried has been excellent. I would recommend you start off with crispy Brussels sprouts & potatoes. If you're having their burgers - I would recommend their lamb burger - order them with side of truffle fries (a must have). Their wings & tacos are good too & so is the porcini crusted halibut. The service has always been irreproachable. Overall, worthy of repeat visits.

Excellent food and happy hour deals

By DancersDaddy |

The jambalaya was fantastic. Spicy without being too hot. The French dip was also very good. I did find the wait staff a bit overbearing but that is better than being absent.

Wow!

By ThomasOatman |

Not sure how to categorize the food. The menu is huge. Judging from the dinners we had, it is likely all super wonderful. I look forward to going back and trying more. Tons of beers on tap. POKE NACHOS !!!!

Wonderful food

By angie131201 |

Very good food. I had the Lamb burger. It was delicious and filling. The service was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

Good go to place

By Chuck C |

Great choice of food and beverages. Would really recommend as a good to place. There salads are felling, and moist. Service was the fastest but the food over came that.

Nice place for happy hour

By TA_Gavin |

They have a great selection of beers. They run happy hour on fridays with half off on pizzas and discount on beers. We ordered chicken and gardien wings and they didnot disappoint. Will definitely come again

Good BBQ chicken pizza.

By Mac D |

Good BBQ chicken pizza. Nice outdoor seating. Service was quick and courteous. Reasonable priced lunch.

Dinner with husband

By Maria S |

Arrived for dinner late (around 10pm) so we didn't have to wait to get seated. We sat outside on the patio. It was nice out there. Inside was much noisier. Service was good. I ordered Gluten Free Carbonara, which was very tasty. On top was a runny egg which added to the flavor of the Carbonara. It was quite a thick a rich sauce and had bacon/ham bits in it. Definitely very good and can also be enjoyed by non-glutenfree diners too! Toilets were clean. Pleasant staff.

Prices need to be adjusted for their beers!

By MICHAEL D |

Review based mainly around the beer. Normal prices for a drink at happy hour, outside of that the prices are way too high with other 'beer' places in the domain with just as good selection and better surroundings. Food we had, apps were ok and nothing to rave about.

Large Menu, Lively Atmosphere, Good Food

By speedtrpl |

I've eaten here several times now and the food is consistently good. They have a big menu, from salads and sandwiches to steaks and lobster mac & cheese...and everything in between. I'd say it's more on the pricey side with most appetizers and entrées over $10, but portions and quality are both good. Atmosphere is very bright and lively, a big bar in the middle of the restaurant, tables around the bar and booths against the walls. There's also a deck with covered outdoor seating in front. It's a big place, probably capable of seating well over 100. It is a chain but has more of a local feel to it. They don't currently take online reservations in Austin although they do in other cities, and it can get crowded for lunch sometimes, but we've not had to wait for a table yet. Service has been good from the entire staff every time I've been there, and no big mistakes out of the kitchen yet! Situated in the new Rock Rose area, there's plenty of free parking all around. This is definitely my favorite restaurant up there right now.

The Best Happy Hour@The Domain

By CarrieBonner-Ro... B |

This is the 2nd Happy Hour, and we were so excited to go back. This time we had The Ahi Tuna Nacho's(again) because now I crave them and could eat them everyday. The Carnivore Pizza(surprising big) and delicious. The Lettuce Wraps w/ 3 yummie sauces. The Trio desert is to "die for". All the different yummie beers+The Perfect Chocolate Martini's. SHILOH our Server was fun, smart, and knowledgeable about the whole menu! She helped steer us to the one of The Best Meals, love the ambiance, and the music is so Great that I have to dance and sing in my booth too. Yippee!!! See ya soon.

Great for dinner and sports

By enur1979 |

A bit crowded and cramped, yet well managed and organized. The food was as expected from any restaurant in the new part of the Domain. Staff was well trained and professional, with quick service. If you plan to sit outside, make sure to wear warm clothes because the wind is funneled down from the street.

Fantastic Food

By Divya |

The Yard House has a pretty fascinating bunch of vegetarian options which made it pretty hard to decide what to get! The staff had some good recommendations and I finally settled on a Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque and a salted Watermelon Margarita. The Grilled Cheese was fantastic - oozing tonnes of cheese through crisp (really good) bread and the Bisque was creamy and flavourful. The cocktail was well mixed. In all, a very satisfying meal!
