We went here is our son, his wife & new baby granddaughter. Opted to sit outside as it was very loud and crowded inside. Incredible choice of beers and variety of food. We had pizza, truffle fries, carnitas enchilada stack, and two chicken rice bowls. Considering the crowd, the food was served in a reasonable time as was our drinks. There is a grassy area nearby with entertainment (jazz sax) which we really enjoyed after our meal.

We visited the yard house 3 times in two days. If you like beer they have something for you. If you LOVE beer they also have something for you! Lobster Mac n cheese was a little disappointing. Dish tasted burnt or charred. Didn't finish even half of it. Chopped salad with bloody Mary vinaigrette was awesome! Crispy duck wings were good. I'm not a fan of mint but once I picked it out, this dish was excellent. My wife had the beef short rib taco and blackened sword fish taco with rice and beans and I had the lamb burger. Tacos were both excellent and rice and beans had great flavor. Lamb burger was good but the bacon onion jam was a little too sweet. Took off the top bun with jam and loved the burger. Banana dessert with coconut ice cream was incredible! Definitely save room for this dessert. Servers were Jen, Grace and Miraf. All 3 were great and Miraf was amazing. When we come back we'll ask if he's working and sit in his section. Money well spent on all 3 visits. (Maybe not the lobster Mac) Don't know about other locations but this location is a must visit. Do yourself a favor and get your yard on!

We stopped by for dinner after finding a 2 hour wait at Taste of Texas! My wife’s steak was very good! I ordered a appetizer nochos! Three people would have not finished them! And two fish tacos. The fish tocos were not that flavorful! The service was very good!

I ate here with a work colleague and while we had to wait for a table, we were welcomed at the bar and soon seated. Choice of beer amazing, but also a good choice of wine. Food typically bar food - burger/ribs/salad etc but great quality; calamari a great starter to share. Waitress was very attentive and overall a very enjoyable evening, with a 2min walk back to hotel Sorella.

Ok, the food is nice and affordable. Ok the waiter was cool. But the welcome is really confusing. We had many free table or other big one to share but you can't take it and order something. I would have prefered to sit, order and wait but no, you can just order at the bar and wait your turn. It's strange.

Attractive, large sportsbar in a trendy area. Nice food menu as well as a large selection of craft beers. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Great place to people watch. Expensive.

Set of a mall square, and pleasant environment. People were friendly and were informative. The food was much better than average, I will definitely make this place a regular on future visits to Houston. I had and would recommend french onion soup, and the fried fish

This restaurant is located in the westside entertainment complex called the CityCentre, The place has an incredible selection of beers on tap and also the food is amazing!

We had an early Saturday evening reservation for 9. The Yard House was packed at 5:30 PM and we were seated comfortably in the heated enclosed patio area. The patio was also more conducive to conversation than the main restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive. Kids ordered first to get them filled up and the adults enjoyed appetizers: Recommended: Lobster, crab and Artichoke Dip and Fried Calamari...Excellent. The Yard House describes itself as an American, Bar, Pub. Very large selection of beers. Sandwiches, Tacos and other entrees to include steaks. Something for everyone. The entrees were all served at the same time, despite the crowd, and were good. The Yard House appears to target the "after work" beer, sports TV and a sandwich crowd in the Center City area.

This is my safe bet when staying in Houston. Sierra nevada beer, jambalaya and truffle fries. That said menu without being ambitious, ticks all the boxes..great beer...you can have anything but limited on the non hoppy front. Would always recommend for groups and fun nights..they even show "soccer"!!

My family of three came here because we noticed that every time we came to Bella Green (formerly Ruggles) this place across the square was packed. We noticed so below par Yelp reviews, but better reviews here, and decided to give it a chance. My wife had been here once, but just for drinks and an appetizer. Well, we should have stuck with that: the regular menu is terrible. We are foodies. We cook a lot for ourselves, and pick up on dishes that are frozen, canned, or use “lazy” shortcuts instantly. Our three dishes were all three. I ordered Jambalaya. The shortcut? They used ketchup as the base ingredient! Ketchup! Jambalaya is NOT supposed to be a sweet dish. Then, the frozen (or less than fresh) shrimp were so overpowered by garlic that ketchup and garlic were the only two discernible flavors. My wife ordered a Barbecued chicken salad. This can be a good option: Cheesecake Factory does this well. What she got was a mixed salad with CANNED chicken, dabbled with barbecue sauce here and there, and then hidden under a bed of onion strings. The only edible part were the onion strings, which we don’t normally even eat. Finally, my son ordered spaghetti with meatballs off the children’s menu. Also canned, likely chef boyardee. In addition to flavor, you can instantly tell the difference between fresh preparation and frozen based on delivery time-we had our food in less than ten minutes on a busy night. Last night and this morning we all feel queasy and sick. If you’re going to go somewhere to feel that way in the morning, you might as well opt for the grease bombs and beer, the only thing this places does well, apparently. Good luck!

Great beer selection. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere and very friendly patrons. Very busy so book ahead.

Serendipitously ended up here twice during a business trip. Service was excellent and food was great too. The place was packed both times, but flow was fast enough to get us seated within 5 min. Sitting at the bar, a table or outside on the patio is equally relaxing.

They have the best chicken macaroni and cheese. The beer selection is great as well. They have taps that wrap around the entire bar. Try their house made Belgian triple, it is really good.

A nice lunch to me must have great service and interesting food and while the Yard House does not have a gourmet menu, the food is quite good for a "chain" restaurant. Our server was top notch.

One of the first restaurants that I ever visited in Houston. My co-workers love this place, and I can see why! It's tasty and pretty much as American as it comes!

We have been refused the service (party of 6) because one person slipped with her high heel shoes on her way to the restroom. You could be sued for that btw. Well done Mrs Ronda. On what proof you decided we do not deserve a drink. Note that we are all clients of the Moran hotel next door and we just wanted to relax having the last drink before going to sleep. Never ever again in such a place.

Vibey sports bar with an incredible selection of craft and other beers. Our meal was to match. Perfectly prepared rib eye steak and good selection of wine. All round a memorable experience.

The food was amazing as usual. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.

I brought my boyfriend here to surprise him and the wait wasn't very long for two. I ordered the Nashville chicken with sweet potato pancakes and it was delicious! The ahi tuna was great as well. A little over priced but the food was flavorful nonetheless. This place is known for the beer and they have a huge menu which can be a little overwhelming but we will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a snack and drink with family. This place is always busy so be flexible. Sit at the bar if it's busy and just a couple of you. The chicken wings are great, the hummus appetizer is also great. They have a great selection of beers. I usually have a Moscow mule, which is my favorite here. The service is good and staff is pleasant. The hamburgers & ribs are also very good.

We enjoy going here for happy hour and having a good meal. Most of the time we sit on the patio since it can be a little bit noisier inside with sports on, etc.

We visited for lunch and I have to say the service was poor and the food was not great. I've visited The Yard House before and knew what to expect but even so, the quality was poor. I would have guessed our waiter was new but my food was not great either... The manager did come and speak to us and told me that it must be my taste and not his food at fault. That said, he didn't charge me so I can't really complain.

It became a thing to leave lifetime on Fridays and get a four cheese pizza at Yard House with a good beer. The pizza is amazing, my favorite in Houston (thin crust) and their beer selection is outstanding.

Great appetizers during happy hour and one of the best beer menus in Houston make this a agreat happy hour locale.

The best sports Bar in City Center! Their menu is very large and you can have anything you want here, steak, soup, salads, lettuce wraps, they have a lot of great menu options.

The burger was grilled to my exact liking - medium well. The truffle taste was not overwhelming, just right. I am not normally a fries person but I finished the side order till the last fry. Simply divine.

Good resturant for brew and good eats for Brunch and Lunch. all kinds of brews brunch and lunch menu foods.

Have been here multiple times before and it was never perfect but this time it got pretty bad. The appetizers were average, bad and edible. The Vampire style taco was returned the first time because the meat was literary burnt. They apologized. The 2nd time, the meat was good but the cheese in the "vampire" style shell was burnt with a disgusting flavor. The vodka drink tasted like a cheap bottled drink (VERY cheap). The sweet potato fries were good but came with a really sweet honey dip. When we got up to leave, there was a chicken bone on the floor on the way out :) I think this will be the last time we go there.

We've been to several Yard Houses and all (except one in Palmdale, CA) have great food and good service. We especially liked the location of this one in the middle of City Center so we could sit outside and people watch. Their truffle fries are my absolute favorite!!

Yard House is a typical Sports Bar with large LED TV’s over the bar. It boasts the largest selection of beer and a fairly extensive food menu. I had a grilled prawns and Calamari noodles dish which was delicious. All in all a good place to visit for a light quick meal.

The Yard House is a great option when travelling and I tend to have at least one meal there on each trip accords the pond. I haven’t been to the Houston City Centre branch for a long long while but it’s as good as ever, especially when you can sit at the bar and be in-sociable.

Went for a family lunch in an upscale mixed-use, high-rise, shopping center-residential development loaded with eateries. Restaurant had a sports bar/family motif - many large tv’s with football games with no volume an very little noise. Varied menu. Bacon-cheese burger was average, half-French dip sandwich was larch and tasty with bowl of French onion soup was great, Korean bar-b-que was excellent and all were reasonably priced. Place was crowded but waiter (Miguel) made us feel that we were the only ones in the House. Manager stopped by and we had nothing but compliments for the food, the ambiance, the service and the prices. In town from Pennsylvania and really appreciated the Texas hospitality.

We had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, although we were impressed about the size of the dish it was bland and did not taste fresh. They had a lot of taps but there seemed to be out of a majority of them. They said they were changing menus on the 27th. I think it was weird to be out of so many choices. The service was horrible at 1st then a different bartender came by the name of Sean and it was much better. This place did not wow us but it was a nice atmosphere!

Not too loud, plenty of sitting spots and tables. The food is delicious and priced on par with the location (all places were expensive).

Went there for a business lunch. The food is good. The place is a bit noisy but ok. The restaurant offers specials for lunch which are prepared promptly for the lunch crowd. We ordered, we ate, we talked and we left.

Came in for some drinks. Happy hour special took a couple bucks off. Decent environment, and good music.

Visited Yard House a few times and most recently with my friend on Saturday night 11/16/19. It was around 9-ish and it was packed. Decent crowd. We managed to grab 2 seats at the bar but you gotta be quick. We stopped in for an appetizer, dessert, & drinks and we did just that. We shared the dessert trio and guacamole & chips. The dessert trio was basic but the guac & chips were pretty good. I wanted a specialty drink so I had some kind of pineapple mojito, but it was too sweet for my liking. Service was nice & friendly. The bar and bathroom was a bit dirty and unkept. A busy Saturday night is no excuse. Overall it is a good place to drop by on any given night to get something to eat and drink while catching up with friends & family. Its kind of loud so maybe not the best place for a 1st date.

When I read this place would have the biggest variety of draft beer from all over the world I got very interested. It's really difficult to choose as I don't usually drink a lot of beer in one night. I started with a Guinness and my choice was really good. For the dinner I had a nice Salmon with some other stuf and I appreciated it. I want to have the chance to go back.

With as many beers as you can throw a stick at and very good food to match this is a winner all the way. Typical american sports bar but does it very well. Always busy.

My husband and I stopped in to Yard House for a drink after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. They have and extensive wine menu for those who do not like beer. Our drinks were great and the waiter was always there to see if we needed anything. He asked if it was a special occasion and we told him we were celebrating our anniversary. The manager shortly came out and told us congratulations and they brought us a free dessert. It was a very nice touch and something we were not expecting at all. We did check the menu out for future reference and we will certainly be back to try the food!

We've been here before and had a good experience. This time was not the same. When our appetizers finally came out the chips we're stale and the Lobster, Crab Artichoke Dip was very salty. We let our waitress know and the manager brought over fresh chips. Wow, what a difference! What were they trying to pull? Three hamburgers were ordered and a veggie burger. All the hamburgers were ordered medium. One burger was medium rare and the other two were 'maybe' medium. The veggie burger was over cooked with little flavor. Our waitress was happy to have the one burger recooked however after an extended time, she went to her manager inquiring as to the delay and he simply blew her off. I watched and heard this myself. Shortly, the manager brings the burger and says, "Here's your RECOOKED hamburger." No apology or concerned to see if it was cooked as ordered. It wasn't medium rare this time but it was VERY well done. The managers' complete lack of concern was shocking. I'm not looking for anything free however in this same situation, other restaurants would have comp'd the meal. NOTHING! Gotta say, we won't be returning. We spent $100+ and received subpar food.

Stopped by to grab some appetizers and drinks before heading out. Drinks were cold with a very wide variety. Appetizers came quick and were hot. Very much worth a visit.

I went for a Business lunch. The food was very good. I really enjoyed the seafood nudles. The service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant !

Great place but reservation is recommended else you need to wait for place. The food is good, nice and reasonable. We really enjoyed the food and drinks. A bit noisy place but very vibrant.

Casual business dinner. Great selection of very interesting beers, but slightly on the pricy side. Food well prepared with fairly efficient service.

Stopped in for a pre-dinner drink and snack. Awesome selection of beer on tap...so many to try. Downside is the happy hour ends rather early, which may keep me from returning...for now. Menu had some pretty interesting items, several I think worth trying, but all seemed rather overpriced, which is in part a function of the area. Sports on the TV's all over, which I rather enjoy. Fantastic waitstaff.

Location, city center is great. Good place to catch up with friends, seating available indoor and outdoor. Vegetarian options are available..The Spinach Cheese Dip is a must try and love the trio sampler in dessert, you get to taste a bit of everything. I also like their french fries. Ample options to drink.

I have frequented the Yard House several times and I enjoy their selection of beers. Great place to catch a game while enjoying you favorite adult beverage.

Nice place, wonderful food and drinks, nice atmosphere, always crowded and friendly staff. highly recommended.

Could be a great place but advice is terrible. Don’t clean well, don’t taken away dirty dishes, slow service and lacking in attentiveness to good service.

Always busy and after initial food order we knew why. We used carry out and they provided excellent food and preparation. Bar was excellent while waiting with very unique beer selection

We like this place because of its relaxed dining and awesome beer selections. They have beer of every kind to fit anyone's preference. They are all draft beers, and the food they serve blends well with the beers.

The beer menu is very large and diverse which was great. Lots of variety and the waiters seemed very knowledgeable. Mixed drinks are pricey in my opinion. The booth we sat in was very comfortable but the restaurant was a little noisy. Wish they had one closer to Spring.

All ales were cold and promptly delivered. Four different lunch meals ordered and everyone was well pleased. Lamb burger and hamburgers were especially tasty.

I was in Houston for just 2 days on business and ended up dining here twice in that time. The restaurant is very large with plenty of room and offers outdoor seating as well. Wait staff is friendly and prompt and the menu has quite a lot of variety. I ordered the vampire tacos and Brussels sprouts and was so satisfied I ordered the exact same thing the second visit. I should mention the sangria is delicious too. Next time I’m back in town I’ll be visiting again.

I stop in here every time I'm in Houston. Can't beat the atmosphere in city center and yard house is right at the center of it! Always a great place to find a stellar beer! Amazing selection. Food is good too but it's the beer selection that keeps me coming back!

Maybe if I had gone there for beers I would have rated it higher. Our server wasn't the greatest, but my salad was excellent. She messed up a few of the orders which is fine if you actually WRITE DOWN the order. However, I hate when the server tries to memorize the order and then flail. I gave it a 4 because of the atmosphere, décor and beer selection that I couldn't partake in.

Our server, Nick was great. the food was delicious! We had no issues with service or our food. Will definitely be back!

Bar is situated in a great location within City Centre and was very busy for a Sunday afternoon, good atmosphere. Ordered a Shrimp Caesar to start which was excellent then the Pastrami Burger which was also very good. The only negative & the reason why I didn't score a 5 was because the Burger arrived at the table whilst I was half way through my salad. This resulted in the Burger & Fries being slightly cold by the time I got to them..... just wait until the Salad is finished. Unsure if this is a ploy to turn the tables quicker. Will return but will ask for a break between courses !!

First time here on a Friday afternoon and they were pretty busy. We were a party of two and 15 minutes after we were seated a very nice waitress came up to us and asked if we had been helped. She apologized, took our orders, and immediately brought out our drinks. We ordered chicken nachos, duck wings, surf and turf burger, and the truffle burger. Once the waitress brought out our appetizers we knew there was no way we would be able to even consider the burgers so we cancelled them. The chicken nachos order was huge, easily serves 2. They were ok, not great. The chicken didn't really have any flavor, there was no real "salsa" so they kinda fell short on flavor. The duck wings were sweet, a touch spicy, a bit greasy, and somewhat crispy. The herbs on the side boosted the flavor and the sliced serranos gave a nice kick of heat. I would love to come back and give the burgers a try as they sound fantastic. We saw a waiter bring out the onion ring tower and that also looked good. Will be back, but maybe when they aren't as busy.

Had a lovely evening in the Yard House, sitting at the bar, met the manager James and chatted. They make a lot of effort to look after you at the Yard House. I felt really at home on my own and the beer and food were excellent. I had the fried duck wings and the Vampire Tacos. If you are going to enjoy good pub food then this is the place. A wide ranging menu, well presented and great beers. My bar man was Vito, he was very attentive and friendly. I gave this 5 stars, because among all the Pubs I have been to in the world, and there have been many, for overall food, satisfaction and enjoyment, this is the tops. I have been to many lovely country pubs, but I really like the Yard House and it is located in the much loved City Centre.

Took my dad on his 63rd birthday. His wish was the half yard beer. He drank two and was the happiest he had been in a long time. He ordered hamburger and our adult children were there each ordered their favorite drink. My meal was french dip and ranch salad. Started with Spinach cheese deep appetizer. Each of my children order a special drink. Ended our dinner with Yard House complimentary dessert for our birthday boy he ordered peach cobbler with ice cream it was delicious. Recommend for couples or adult families. Guarantee a great time!

Have been to this restaurant a few times and every time I go there they amaze me with their food and customer service. The wait staff is very attentive and very courteous always There is a variety and types pf food to choose from. The menu is a bit pricey but the food is excellent. Try the Lamb burger with fries. The tacos and salads are also good.

We ate here on a busy Thursday night. The food was amazing. My hubby had the beyond burger (vegan burger) the vegan cheese on it was delish! I had the gardein and tofu fried rice .. It was super yummy. Even though they seemed busy our waitress was amazing, great service! Love all the vegan and vegetarian options here.

My husband and I had lunch and later had drinks here. The food was good. The margaritas were good. The flight of beer was excellent. I don’t remember their names but our waiter and the bartender were great. The service was decent without any major waits. We got a complimentary anniversary dessert. We got the firecracker shrimp app, Lobster garlic noodles and the fish and chips!

The Yardhouse is hands-down one of my favourite places in Houston. The menu is extensive as is the Happy Hour selection (The pepperoni mushroom pizza is truly delicious!) You are guaranteed to see couples, families, and groups of friends having a great time when you visit. Whether with friends or family, this is a great spot. It is conveniently located near a green space so, if you have kids who like to play, they can play while you and yours enjoy a little something. The kids menu, by the by, is also ample and the service is consistently strong. It can be a bit of a struggle to get water refills but it's a tap-house, not a water house. I gave them 4 stars as they took away my two top choices - Petrus Aged Red and Franziskaner Hefe. If they bring back even one of those, I would joyfully add the 5th star!

8 colleagues and I spent a good evening at the Yard House, excellent food, service and atmosphere. Really like the coconut shrimp! Will be back!

Try here early evening with friends/colleagues. Popular place but plenty of space, decent service and a great range of beers. Food looked quite good too. Will be back to try a few more of the beers!

Seems like a popular spot which makes sense given that it boasts good food and value in a spacious room. Service was a bit inattentive which was surprising as the restaurant wasn't full during our late lunch but overall a positive experience.

I had truffle cheeseburger, with onion rings. Nice but could be better. Rings were great. She had fish taco and tortilla soup. She said was great. Service great.

Visited several times. Food is good, however selection of beer fantastic. API type. Strong. I liked the informal atmosphere. A bit noisy if you want to discuss business, but ok all other ways. Servers a bit without attention, so should be coached better. But all in all a great place central at Citycenter. With great beer!

It's a great find. The location is convenient - just at the SE corner of I-10 and beltway 8. There are plenty of parking at nearby parking garage (free after 6 pm). The great things about the restaurant itself - plenty of food options to choose from. Their Lobster Bisque Agnolotti is to die for. They also have a great beer selection, with many choices on tap. Highly recommended for a social get together or business.

The Yard House is well known for the quality of its food and excellent selection of beers. But I wanted to compliment them on above-and-beyond service on our visit there on July 20, 2018. When I commented to our server Alex that I missed the Gorgonzola Burger they used to have on their menu, he offered to go and speak to the chef to see if something could be done. Well, they don't carry gorgonzola cheese any more, but offered to make a similar burger for me with blue cheese. They did, and it was just as wonderful as the original. I really appreciated the extra care on a Friday evening, when the place was buzzing! And one more thing: I'm happy that they offer two sizes of wine by the glass -- sometimes one is not enough but two are too many, so the 9oz size was just perfect this time. Lovely evening

Beer list here is great - numerous local draft offerings. Food was on point and service was great. Chameira, Sheza, Christal, Sean, Laura were all great - as were all the other bartenders. Thanks again for making me feel like a regular during my stay there.

We were taken to the Yard House because of their fabulous vegetarian menu choices. We loved trying many of the veggie dishes and had a great time comparing the flavors. We had Gardein™ BUFFALO WINGS and FIRECRACKER WINGS to start. I enjoyed the vegan burger as my main dish. Warning: the portions are large so come hungry! There were plenty of choices on the menu to please everyone from the kids to the adults. The issues I had were the somewhat disorganized service, crowded dining room, and very loud atmosphere. It was pretty hard to even hear the person next to me. Maybe next time we'll wait for an outside table. *There will be a next time!*

Have gone a couple of times and enjoyed their extensive menu. Great service and good food. The lobster dip was a little dry but other dishes have been ample and very tasty.

The food is pretty good, but you can get really slow service. Tough if you are on a lunch hour. I was sad that they discontinued Wednesday 1/2 price wine. It made it easier to accept the slow service!

Visited for my birthday & the atmosphere was very pleasant. I had a burger with the most delicious fries ever!! I also had the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer and it was delicious! (It wasn't as spicy as it sounded). The food and drinks were awesome! Overall great place to visit anytime.

Located in the City Center Area offers sports bar food a wide selection of beers from around the world. We had a couple of beers as well as some nachos and burgers. They have TV for watching sports. There is both indoors and outdoor seating. Service was comparably slow to other places.

I went here with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday, most of us not having dined at the Yard House before, myself included. The menu was extensive, both food and beverages. I was told by another friend that they have really good wings. The wings were good but the serving is small, especially for the price. The drinks were very expensive as well. It was hot (they pulled 4 tables together on the patio) and the service was slow. It is a good place to go with a group of people because they have a good variety of food on their menu. Expect to pay a lot though. Alcohol is not cheap.

It was my friend and i's first time here and it was excellent! Mike or Michael (our server with long dreads) was AWESOME. he helped me decide what to order and he was very attentive. Will be here again bc of the food and hospitable atmosphere. Thanks Michael!!

I recently came here with some family visiting from out of town. They have twin boys which obviously can be a handful but I've read many other reviews saying they catered well to children. It was 8 of us total with the kids, and when we arrived for dinner our table was already set up with menus and high chairs! Really nice touch for a restaurant that isn't a fine dining establishment. When our server came by to take drink orders, she was very friendly and offered kids cup with a lid and even offered to get the kids food started first if we wanted! Very helpful. She gave us great recommendations and described each dish very well. What i really find great about the service is that she was honest about dishes that may have been too big and could be split between two people. Many places just want to sell a lot of food and we always have too much left over. Its nice to have someone offer to split dishes as well! Over all really great experience and great selection of drinks and food to please everyone, even the kids. We will definitely be back and will be sure to tell our friends. Thanks Yard House!

Banging bit of food in here. Good atmosphere and very friendly. Favourite bar in Houston for happy hour.

We ate here because there was nothing open after ten. Very pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere. Great location.

We went there a couple of times. it always seemed busy, the food was lovely & staff were great. Our waiter was Jarvis, fantastic customer service from him & more brownie points as when we came back later that week he recognized us & came over to check that we were ok.

The Yard House is a “must visit” on every trip to Houston. Busy Sports Bar with a great atmosphere, huge selection of beer and first class service. The Poke Ahi Nachos appetiser can not be overlooked each time I visit. Simply stunning. On my most recent visit for mains I returned to the Nashville Chicken Sandwich which is oozing with taste. Steaks, Tacos, Burgers, Boneless Wings and Cajun Jambalaya are all excellent. In fact I have never once had a bad meal here. Can’t wait to get back.

This bar/restaurant has around 100 beers on tap, which caters for every taste. A great casual place to meet for drinks with colleagues or friends.

We went because we had a coupon for Oktoberfest, and a gift card. The food was excellent, and the staff very helpful. However, the restaurant was very loud making it hard to have a conversation.

The range of beers is very good and the food is delicious. Always easy to get served even when busy. Waiters and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Sport is shown on many screens and there is an outdoor dining area also.

Visited here twice during my business trip. Service was efficient, menu choice was extensive, they have a fantastic selection of beers amidst a vibrant atmosphere. i really enjoyed the beef dip. All the food was presented well and looked appetising. Would thoroughly recommend a visit here.

We were a party of 11 that they first sat at a booth. After speaking to hostess and manager that was rectified and we sat at a raised table. The food was very good and service was quick. We will return here when in the area.

Food was great - highly recommend the vampire tacos and the Brussels sprouts are good too. The service was a bit so-so and the patio was a little lack lustre

Met a client for lunch and we went to Yard House on her recommendation. The weather was very comfortable (Yes, in August!) so we sat on the patio. They are in an ideal location with a view of the small park and kids playing. It was very relaxing and comfortable. I ordered the vegan burger with sweet potato fries. I did ask for regular cheese so, vegetarian instead. It is by far the best I have ever tried...anywhere!! Even if the whole experience wasn't excellent, I would go back just for the burger! The manager also came by to check on us. I wish to goodness I had written the waiters name down! He was so helpful and upped the day with the level of service he provided. This was a long drive from the office and even longer from my side of town, however, I will easily be back for an early weekend lunch soon!

You won't be disappointed by ordering the Surf and Turf burger! It is a great burger topped with a lobster tail and it is delicious. Their fries are tasty as well! Their bartenders also know their stuff and make really great drinks!

If you are looking for decently tasty eats with a bar-like atmosphere this is your place. Albeit this is a more upscale bar feel, it is still like a bar in the sense that it is a bit crowded and not the quietest place. But the food is good and it makes for a lively night out.

If you go, hope you get Gabby as a server. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so sweet. Great smile too! She was the reason we had such a great time. Lots of craft beers but also had domestic on draft. Didn't try the food though.

This is a large restaurant with a sports bar feel, great for dates, family, or business. The food presentation was amazing. You can tell they take pride in their meals. Many draft beers to choose from as well as specialty drinks. Although it is a bit pricey, it is worth it.

Really good dinner at Yard House at City Centre in west Houston. Nashville chicken entree and sandwich were tasty as were the cocktails. Prompt and attentive service, too.

This is the 2nd time I've been to the Yard House! I think the food was very good both times and the bar menu is extensive. The atmosphere is such that you can sit inside or outside, and even catch a game in one of their many TV's.

My new best friend is Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro, and I think I'm in love. That being said, Yard House boasts having the world's largest draft beer selection. I think they are telling the truth. The beer menu goes on and on and they allow sampling before buying. Lucky for us we arrived well ahead of the rest of our party so we could experience this wonderful bar! When our friends arrived, we were seated immediately and had the pleasure of excellent and friendly service by Armand. Our food was prepared perfectly and I absolutely loved my peppered gorgonzola burger. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the St. Louis Style full rack of ribs with BBQ sauce on the side. The onion tower was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals. Well done, Yard House City Centre!

Not my first Yard House visit, but my first at this location. It was conveniently located right next to the hotel. I had the Maui Pineapple Chicken and I would recommend this meal. The service friendly but was less than average overall and the noise level was typically high. I would return to this location if I return to this area.

If you want to choose from, oh, like TONS of beers and a HUGE menu, head here. We always find something we like and this visit was no exception. I like the Vampire Taco and ask for "Vampire style" on the others I get: Baha Fish and Blackened Shrimp. Between those three tacos and a beer, I'm happy. Hubs got the Cajun Pasta and liked it very much. We search for Yard House when we travel, it's dependable and our kind of place. We like sitting at their bar.

Yardhouse is in a great location in City Centre with parking. Good options for both food and drinks.

Beers a plenty and a good menu. I really like most of the items on the menu - the steak was memorable, even when compared to the higher prices at other venues in the area.

This place has over a hundred beers on tap. Great if you love beer (I'm not a fan). However, many of our clients like that so we go there a bit. The food is pretty good--the mac and cheese is one of the better items.

Went here for a quick bite to eat, ended up staying longer and trying tasters of various beers. The meal was made better by Darryl our server who was engaging in conversation and recommended a number of beer tasters. Will return before we leave Houston

Had a small group (12 people) for a birthday celebration and the food and service was excellent. The servers were friendly and professional and I had the Vodka Shrimp Pasta which was deelish!! Can't wait to return!

This restaurant has a sports-bar atmosphere and a huge list of available beers, as well as a wide variety of foods (Korean, Tex-Mex, Cajun, Japanese, Italian, “American,” all manner of burgers and sandwiches, soups, salads, you name it). I’ve only eaten here once and can only comment on what I ate and drank. Their coconut shrimp is excellent (if a bit pricey — $14+ for three). Their “Turkey & Bacon Melt” sandwich is good but not outstanding. However, I took half the sandwich home and microwaved it for lunch the next day, and thought it was very good. They had Guinness on tap. It’s my favorite beer and was good enough that I ordered a second pint after drinking the first. One of my friends ordered two Japanese dishes from their happy-hour menu and enjoyed the fare. The other powered down a pizza. The setting is pleasant, next to a large green area with kids playing. Our waitress was a hoot and not afraid to render an opinion when asked. All told, this is a place worth returning to.

This is an upscale restaurant, no suit or tie required. A very large beer menu, and a nice sized food menu.

Great food, great atmosphere and great choice of drinks too. The staff are friendly and courteous. Wide choice of foods - I like the Ceviche in a spoon appetizers

Table of 3, 6pm Saturday, crowded but not full and big capacity. Waited double a "standard" waiting time for most places for waiter Lic to come to table to check on us and place order. Lots of staff, and he would check next door but oblivious of being flagged down by us. "We don't make mocktails, how about a Shirley temple," instead of sure let me check what we can do. Food came out at reasonable time. Brussels sprouts and Guacamole were good. Skimpy serving size of guacamole but solid flavor. Skip the "cheddar sauce" chicken sandwich - it was mayonnaise and shredded cheddar mixed up blegh! Buffalo Cauliflower was actually fried, not the "lower carb" item I was expecting. Wings were fine, but nothing spectacular. Wine and beer were great.

Amazing range of brews on tap.Started with a six-glass sampler set of local brews. My African guest was enamored of the 8th Wonder Rocket Fuel. The dinner was tasty, with well-balanced sauces and crust on moist pork loin

for starters, the location is a very pleasant parking at City Center can be a headache. the restaurant is VERY nice and they have a decent happy hour menu. Music is decent and it's pretty dark but overall a great place to hang out food.. overpriced. In mu opinion this is like an upscaled TGIF. Nothing "special" about the food.... except for the dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries. I order the Vodka Shrimp Pasta.... and it was pretty much bland and there was nothing "popping" about the sauce. I wasn't very please with the food. great service. food temperature was good. drinks were good

I went to watch a baseball game and had dinner. The food was good, no more than that, the same the service. They’ve a huge draft beer selection and that’s definitely a good.

Yard House is amazing! Great soups, sandwiches, and yummy desserts! Wait staff very professional and was very attentive!

What a perfect place to come for our first night in Texas. The atmosphere, the music, the staff, the food - it was all great. The beer menu was huge. Heaps of vegan options, I got the nachos and they were very generous with the portion and very tasty. My husband got a burger and it was good. Would come back for sure.

We received great service, and the food was excellent. One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It was a weeknight, so the place was not very busy and we were seated right away. Lots of TVs tuned to March Madness, so i didn't miss anything!

Nice restaurant with a a lot of beer choice. The wait time can be long because the food is real good. The area is very busy so be prepared to wait. But once you get in then the fun starts. If you get a seat at the bar even better, have fun.

Was visiting friends and decided to go here as it was close and we were told very good. Well, it was close. This was a Sunday night and seemingly busy. Our party of 10 was seated outside in quick fashion. We ordered our beverages and then our appetizers. They arrived in a timely fashion but we never got any utensils or napkins. We asked for them and eventually our wait person delivered them. Not without reminders. It seems as though there needed to be more waitstaff as from this point on that is all we did. This is a place that has tables for larger parties and is used to them. The long and short of the evening was wait wait wait. Way too long. I ordered the shrimp garlic noodles with gluten free pasta. The cook needed to rinse these noodles. Anyone who is gluten free knows that a good rinse will prevent the noodles from clumping. This did not happen. The meal was kind of slopped together. Would not order again. The consensus of our group was that our wait person needed assistance and the service did not meet expectations. The good was average and overpriced.

nothing to write home about but was quick and easy. If you are in the are and just need food its not a bad option but there are better

Had great dinner with the family plenty of choices on the menu service was very good if you like your beer the choices here are excellent

This place doesnt hold back. Marcy was our waitress, she was awesome. But the food... I had the fish and chips with jalapeño tartar and fries, uhhhhh. The fish batter is awesome. Like so perfectly thin and crispy but also thick enough to hold it’s delightful white fish. So good. Fast and friendly and so tasty. I think we will go back again tonight.

We decided to head over to Yard House in Webster at Baybrook for lunch. My husband had received a Father's day G.C. Upon being seated in a booth we received service by Tiana, immediately. I ordered Fish and chips with coleslaw it was very tasty and fresh. It was a huge serving with plenty of leftovers. Hubby had Chicken wings bone in. Very delicious. Nice and crispy. Made just right. Ordered a Dragon margarita that was perfect. Hubby had a couple of beers. The restaurant was very clean and it was welcoming. Would definitely revisit.

Great place for lunch and to watch the world go by. The food is very good, reasonably priced and the surroundings are relaxed but there's also a buzz to the place. It's usually quite busy and best to make a reservation especially if you want to sit out in the patio area. Would recommend.

Spent an afternoon here watching football during my stay in Houston. Great place with decent food and a great selection of beer. Come early as this place is pretty popular.

I was impressed by the yard house. It had a great atmosphere and it is in an ideal location. I was here on business and the atmosphere was just right where there was a good energy in the restaurant but you could also hear others around you. The food was great as well and the prices were in line with the type of atmosphere and food quality. I would recommend this to you if you are considering a place to go with others and get an American meals. They also have an amazing selection of beers.

I've visited several Yard House locations in California and always loved their food and service. I was so happy to find this one right here in Houston! It's the perfect time of year to dine outdoors in Houston and City Centre is the perfect place. We had the salmon Cesar salad and lobster mac and cheese. Both were fresh and tasty and our server was very nice and helpful. My only complaint (and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars), is they allow smoking on the patio. We were lucky enough not to be directly down wind of any smokers, but it still kind of ruins your dinner when the smell of smoke overpowers your food.

I dined at the Yardhouse and ordered a dinner entree salad for lunch. The salad did not contain many of the ingredients advertised on the menu. I pointed this out to the waitress and the manager. The salad was taken back to the kitchen and the proper ingredients were added. The manager did not seem overly concerned that the salad did not arrive originally 'as advertised'. The other meals in our group were fine...not spectacular, but perfectly acceptable.

Options for every palate...whether you want bar type food, elegant pastas or vegan chkn' dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Fast friendly service. A definite must when in City Centre.

Grilled (four) cheese yummy, pastrami sliders (off menu), poke nachos, calamari & salads all treats!

I've probably eaten here 4 times and the cuisine consistently surprises me in a good way with little accents and flares that take comfort food a step above the way Mom made it. Started with beer samplings (3 flights each) and chose my brew - the Honey Blonde. Basic food today - Asian chicken & rice bowl for me and a turkey cobb salad for my buddy. Both were well done and the portions were large enough to take ~1/2 of each home. I've never had a bad meal here.

I live in City Centre so I eat here pretty regularly. It's always very good. They have a full bar. Sometimes the wait can be more than 30 minutes during busy times.

Tons of taps. Knowledgeable, friendly bartenders. Good burgers, and broad selection of other food. Tons of TV's. Clean!

This is a great sports bar, they have tons of beers and can also make cock-tales. The food is delicious, but a bit pricey. The location is great,

The food was delicious and tasty. I had the fried chicken burger with fries. The sweet tea was delicious. The appetizers were delicious and tasty. The place was very clean but the service was slow because the crowd was overwhelming. I will definitely return to eat.

Food was not good meat was dry bun hard the tomato bisque tasted like spaghetti o's which is really bad. To many styles of food please pick one because, they have no signature and pretty much suck at all of them.

Very busy place - always - which must say something - right? Service is generally good, food is ok, ridiculous amount of beers on tap but that’s the attraction..Unlike other venues with this chain there never seems to be anyone drinking yards or even half yards...worth a look if you’ve never been..

This is a good and fun place to eat. There are so many choices and the service is always professional and above our expectations-especially amazing how they keep a constant rapid pace even when the place is packed. There is a beautiful full bar with so many choices. The environment is relaxing and a lot of fun. Go early because it seems to always get busy later in the evening. (Try their deviled eggs.)

So many beers on tap. A great way to taste something new. The beer menu is very detailed and helps you select the type of beer you like. Appetizers are half off during happy hour. A good time to try their Poke Stack. Yum.

Where do I begin...OH YES! YARD HOUSE...CITY CENTER...HOUSTON TEXAS!!! I been in Houston for over 20 years and I can KICK MYSELF for not ever coming to this place until December 2016 (Business) and January 2017 (TOTAL PLEASURE). What an amazing attraction and inviting essence! OMG...THE FOOD 😍😍👍👍(I HOPE that my emojis can be seen when my review is uploaded in TripAdvisor...LOL)!!! This place has it all for individuals, couples, and families. You will NOT be disappointed!! #YOLO-liveNthelife! #cheers2gr8atmospheres!

I liked where this restaurant is. Great location and atmosphere. But the food was just okay. Nothing really special, I got the bbq bacon burger it was good. My friend had more of a disappointing time. The waiter messed up on her pizza twice after the third time it came out me and my other friend had already finished our food. So we took the pizza to go. I wouldn’t come back. Or maybe I would just for the beer and watching the game.

Our rule on vacay is not to eat any place we have at home. This place looked fun & had a family friendly menu. Service was excellent! Food was delicious! Drinks were spot on. Manager was actively walking around and checking on tables. Would definitely eat here again.

The food was ok. Service was good. Nice atmospehere for lunch with a few friends. The yard is known for more than 100 taps of the best American craft and import beers. Personally, won't be visiting again

We were anticipating a great meal based on the sheer size of the menu. The food was awful - the Yard House method seems to be cover all food with spicy sauces and the folks will never know the difference. This chain is more a "hang out" bar with food - than a restaurant. I carefully chose the chicken schnitzel sandwich based on the clever description of ingredients. My sandwich was covered in a nasty onion based relish that killed any flavor or texture of the chicken. In addition, another diner ordered kale caesar salad with tuna - big mistake. Four micro pieces of kale mixed with a horrible salad. We split street tacos - just fair. I know in that vast menu there is something that we might like, but I am never returning to find out. I thought the menu items were very expensive based on the poor quality. Also, the classic rock blares on and on, drowning out conversation. Hey, isn't this supposed to be a conversation place? What we liked? Excellent server. Many tap beer choices. In summary, never again.

Well over 100 beers on tap to select from and the food selection was excellent. The pork chops are to die for!

The Yard House in City Centre has an extremely large variety of beers and good food. We've done several happy hours here!

Hundred beers on tap. Lots of local microbrews. You've got to try the vampire taco, freaking awesome I'll go back just to order another one. Smiles.

Loved the food and variety of drinks here. Service was fast and friendly. Easy to get to from Hotel Sorella

I visited here while traveling with my wife. She was here for business, and since this place was right near The Moran, where we were staying, I decided to give it a go. It was busy and pretty loud, so if you want a place to have a conversation, this is not it. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the staff. I ordered an old-fashioned, which was nice. For dinner, I had the tuna sashimi, which had too much of the sauce and took away from the star of the plate, which should be the fish itself. In addition, I ordered the Ahi "nachos" with all the sauces on the side, which I recommend others do, and add it if you choose. I did visit the men's restroom after I settled up, and WOW! Just incredibly disgusting with urine all over the stall and by the urinals. Paper towels all over the place. I can only guess that it had never been attended to since open or even checked. I turned back and waited to get to the hotel. If I had visited the restroom before I ordered, I would have walked right out and gone somewhere else. I would have rated this place as "poor," but the service and food were good.

Lots of menu selections. Lots of great food. You could probably go there every week for a year and never have the same thing twice.

Incredible range of craft beers, efficient and friendly staff. If you like beer you need to try this place

Nice place to stop to get s quick bite to eat. Good flavor. Food a bit pricey. Service was pretty good. Good location to stop.

First of all, a huge thanks to the manager James, who quickly rectified a mishap. We called in the day before for call-ahead seating for 15 people. When we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday, he happened to be standing by the host stand when we realized that our name wasn’t on the call-ahead list. He quickly asked how many we had in our party and within 10 minutes had a table put together for us in the perfect location. The covered patio has big fans that provide a great air flow during the hot Houston summer. They also had the Rockets game on and the sound turned up. We loved it! Our waiter, Ameer, took GREAT care of our whole party. The kids loved the mac and cheese, pizza, and french fries. The southern fried chicken breast is delicious. The deviled eggs and guacamole for appetizers are good. Some also enjoyed the Nashville spicy chicken. It wasn’t for me, but they loved it. The burgers were delicious also. We will definitely be back for the awesome patio seating, nice staff, and great location.

Food was excellent! We ordered the Korean barbecue and also the vampire tacos! We could have just ordered the vampire tacos over and over and been happy! Everything was great, though! The server was exceptional! She was personable, attentive and funny.

I spent a couple of evenings in early October at the Yardhouse while in Houston on business. This place is big and brash and fun and not a bad choice at all for food, drink and atmosphere. I had butterflied Southern fried chicken steak on one night and the chicken Nachos on another. The portions are utterly huge, but I’m a Brit so perhaps not quite so used to this. I made the mistake of ordering some sweet potato fries as a side and when the “bucket” of fries turned up it made for a bit of a challenge to make a dent in all the food! There’s a great selection of beers as you’d expect but they also have some good wines. Service on both nights was good, although on the second it was exceptional. Highly recommend the Yardhouse for an informal meal, great atmosphere, pretty good food and great service.

Had a bad experience with service and their happy hour policy. I arrived half hour before it ended. Our waiter was no where to be found.I finally flagged down another waitress who by the way was trying her best to ignore my wave. By this time it was 5:40 we asked for 2 drinks since their hour would be ending soon. The waitress then informed us she could not because of restaurant policy. We put in our 1drink order and got it at 5:53. So when he dropped the drink we asked for another round since happy hour would be ending at six. He informed us that we he could not do that since we'd have to be down to half the drink before he could place another drink order. Now I've worked as a waitress and have had decades of dining out in lower and higher end restaurants and have never encountered these restrictions when attending happy hour. Our waiter over heard me making a comment to that effect and from that moment on he was inattentive towards us eg. Didn't refill an empty water glass, left dirty plates and glasses in front of me and my spouse. All the while being attentive to the rest of the party who had't complained. So he was tipped accordingly. Shame cause as an ex waitress I usually tip 20% or better. Food was standard greasy pub food. Definitely lost two customers.

I like this place, first time at this place, won't be my last. Party of about 8, everyone's dish looked really tasty. I went with the glazed pork loin. Delicious!! Downside -- very noisy. I had to yell the whole time I was there. A lot of TVs -- football everywhere you turn. Located right on the square in City Center. Great date night option.

Enjoyed the wide variety of beers and suggested food pairings. Located in the trendy City Center, drinks and food are a bit pricey. The Happy Hour has discounts on all drinks and a large half-price app menu. Burgers are delicious and all food ingredients are fresh. Table service was prompt and professional. Great energy and ambiance but also a high noise level during Friday Happy Hour.

Having lunch here, as a single guest, asking for a place outside in the sun (it was rather chilly when I visited) I was escorted to a table where the sun was gone after a short while. ...The welcome was not great. When ordering food I got very little advice on the portions, resulting in that I had more than twice as food as I could eat…The guacamole was a huge disappointment, other than that the food was good and the waiter nice and friendly. However, with the prizes on eating out, one do expect better advice and service in total.

I was there for lunch a couple of month ago and the meal was good. I returned this past week and I was completely disappointed. I ordered the Turkey Pot Pie and Brussel Sprouts. Both were horrible. I guess there must be a new cook in town because the meal was probably the worst I've had in a very long time.

Decent value for the dollar. The salads we had were all very fresh and crisp, and the tower of onion rings is a must-have for people who enjoy onion rings. We sat outside on the patio near one of the fire features. The waiter was friendly and attentive.

Very good restaurant in a nice setting at City Center, high quality service, wide selection of quality beer and good wine, amazing steaks, highly recommended!
Delicious
The lobster ravioli was to die for, loved it so much! Love this place! Great beer selections for flights as well. Really great service as well. Great place!
