We went specifically for the wings. I prefer boneless, my bf prefers traditional- they had both! Both were that crispy skin, and incredibly flavorful.

Not too much to tell y’all. Tons of american food. Dessert might be a little better, but all main dishes were really good. Absolutely great: zillions of different beer to any taste! Enjoy!

Me and a friend recently visited Both the LA Yard house and the Pasadena Yard house. They are both very clean and the service is very good. They offer a huge array of beers on draft which is always a great thing to see.The food was nice enough and we enjoyed both venues.

The food we had was amazing however the music was WAY too loud! The seated us in the bar area and a large group of people came and literally surrounded the front of our table. No respect of people. However I love the yard house! They catered to all my requests as I am gluten free and allergic to several things. I would highly suggest this restaurant to ANYONE!

Yard House, near the Convention Center in LA Live, is large and has more than enough screens to accommodate all games, very good hamburgers, and a line long of available craft beers on draft (the House IPA is especially good). If you are in LA on an NFL Sunday and need to find a place to watch your team in action, this is a place to go.

For LA, this is reasonably priced. The food and service were decent, and they have a large drink menu including many kinds of beers. The vampire tacos became a favorite that we had to go back for.

Great food, great service, if you’re in L.A. We had an onion ring tower. They were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. They were crispy and tasty. I had the Baja fish taco meal, which was also delicious. It’s a little spendy, but totally worth it.

I have been to several Yard House locations with great experiences - but my experience at this location was not up to the usual standard. Two of our glasses had to be returned for having lipstick stains. The food I ordered was longer available, but I was not told until they were bringing out the food for others at the table that I’d need to order something else. Seemed disorganized. Agree with other reviews that parking in this location can be difficult and pricy.

I actually ended up here twice; once for a late-night drink, and the second time for happy hour with snacks. In typical Yard House fashion, there is a very good beer selection, although I'd love to see more "local" selections at each Yard House location. During our second visit (happy hour), our server was very slow and inattentive. In general, the food was serviceable....except for the "boneless chicken wings". They are truly awful. They're more like dry grilled chicken cubes/chunks, with a smattering of hot sauce on them. I generally can find a way to enjoy most foods.....but not this one! Overall, the Yard House is an OK option if you're in the LA Live area, but nothing to make a special trip for. I will say, the outdoor seating is a great option, if you're able to snag a spot.

I suggest you walk to the Wholefoods and hang out in their bar area. Or even go grab food from their hot bar and then grab a beer. This Yardhouse is so packed all the time. The service is not good and I was mistakenly charged twice for one beer. This happened when they weren't even that busy. I would recommend eating anywhere but here if possible.

You’ll be hard pressed to not be able to find a good beer on tap. Appetizers are good. The calamari was good along with the shepherds pie with their own flair

Great Beer and Sportsbar, were you kan choose a wide variety of beers with great snacks and food....

If you are in a pinch for a burger like meal and a good beer go here. Best deals occur at happy hour. Salads are also excellent too, but during peak times you will have to wait.

This place is close to the Ritz Carlton near LA Live where we were staying and is a huge sports bar which does your typical American style food - wing, rings, nachos etc. It has numerous amounts of beers to chose from. We used it as a good meeting point due to its location and the service like in most US places was decent. The boneless wings were good and different flavours were worth trying,

tupid bartender and manager who asking ID for 40 old guys. They don`t want to accept international driver license. It's the first bar where asking ID from adults. I write a complaint about discrimination, bartender did not want to accept our international driver license. Unpleasant servicing staff. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Extensive food offerings as well as very extensive list of beers to choose from. All the food came out hot and fresh. Baja Tacos were very tasty as was the quesadillas appetizer. Chicken enchiladas were also very good. Very popular so expect a wait (but not long) - especially if there is an event at Staples Center - particularly a Lakers game - so be careful of your timing.

Great place to sit out on the patio for lunch close to Staples center and right outside of the JW Marriott LA Live. Their steer taco are very interesting being that the flour tortillas are actually grilled with crispy cheese outside. They were quite good. Service was decent with a large selection of comfort type foods and some interesting alternatives.

We arrived at 5:00 p.m. and had no wait time (it was a Thursday). We wanted a bite before going to Staples for a concert. We made it for Happy Hour and we ordered & received our dinner in a timely manner. Great food and lots of variety. Upon leaving at 6:30 p.m., there was a lot of people waiting. So go early.

After a very long day of work, I decided to swing by the Yard House to get some food to take back to my hotel. I ordered at the hostess stand and got the truffle cheese burger with no bun or onions and upgraded my fries to onion rings. It took a while for my food to come out so I took the opportunity to people watch. The restaurant had a ton of staff and some of them were very friendly while others had a bit of an attitude. They did a steady stream of business while I sat waiting with people coming and going the whole time. The bar was busy since Thursday night football was on and they do have an extensive amount of beer on tap. My food soon came and after quickly checking I had my burger and onion rings was on my way. I was very happy with the onion rings even though it cost two bucks to upgrade because they gave you a big container of them and there were more than 3-5 like I normally get. The burger while good was disappointing. I know I got it without onions or bun but there was no sauce or lettuce or tomatoes, just a burger patty (perfectly medium rare) with a couple of slices of cheese and some truffle oil wrapped in wax paper. For twenty bucks, I expected more. Again it tasted great, but cost and what’s delivered really didn’t match up.

The food was tasty and the service much quicker than expected. Was told the wait for a table would be 75 mins but was actually less than 40. Was there on a Saturday night with a game taking place nearby, so not sure if it’s always this busy and noisy.

We went here before an NHL game at the Staples Center. We did not have a reservation but were seated in a nice booth. It was happy hour so beer was all discounted. Also many appetizers were half price. The service was great, drinks and food were really good. I would come back here, located next to the Staples Center it's a great location with nice atmosphere.

Several of us walked from our hotel and dined outside because it was a beautiful evening. Our server was amazing, we were seated immediately and the food was delicious. We each ordered something different with two of us ordering dessert all I could say was yummy.

Right near the LA convention center, this is a great place, good for watching sports. Massive menu, lots of draft beer (including one of my favorites - Red Trolley from Karl Strauss!). Good service and atmosphere, what more could you want?!

Food was yummy, beer was cold and the wait staff was great. First time having dinner here but can’t wait to try others to see what the difference is. Had a ribeye that was cooked exactly the way we wanted. Nice portions enough the my wife and I shared a meal. Music was good. If your not into a low roar this may not be the place for you but we loved it.

Stopped by the Yarde House for dinner after a long day of traveling from the east coast. Thankfully no events going on and it wasn't too busy. Our waiter was extremely helpful. Good selection of beers and prices fairly reasonable as well. Food good and large portions.

We went 2 times during our stay to enjoy happy hour, great prices and excellent food. I recommend pizzas, sliders, poke nachos, blackened ahi sashimi and Wisconsin cheese curds, all delicious, hearty dishes and if you have leftover you can take it. Excellent service, wide variety of beers, very good drinks, definitely!!

Staff was lovely but told to order via iPad is so impersonal. I work on computers all day at work I don't want to do it when I go out. I want to interact with people, not iPads. Take them away!!

This place is right in the middle of the staples center area. We checked it out and it just didnt really have any unique qualities. The food was alright, nothing great. I had a steak and it was bland. I know its a franchise but I would just expect a higher level of quality.

The service was terrible. We waited for about 30 minutes for our drink. They said that they were short staff. Definitely I would try to avoid it next time.

While attending a conference at the JW, I had the chance to eat and meet here twice. Each time the service was great and the food extra tasty. Lots and lots of beers were available, too bad I was working. I will take the chance to return again when I am not working.

Love this place - great food and fantastic lively atmosphere. We popped in here by chance and will be visiting other locations of Yard House

If you like really good food AND music, this is the place to go. People were really nice and I love the location

We went before a concert as it is convenient in the heart of LA Live. Be prepared for crowds if there is another event at Staples or Microsoft theater. Check schedules and arrive early. It was a busy night and they ran out of my favorite beer (Alagash White). They do have a wide variety of other brews on tap, but it was loud and my food arrived cold. We should have walked one block east or north to other restaurants with better food (Paninni Cafe, Palms, or El Cholo).

y3.5* Yard House near Staples, think pre-game or post-game Gastropub 800 W. Olympic, LA Nice Happy Hour, pizza Good steak and pork chop Delish burgers My favs were the Vampire Tacos Fun place

Good food, reasonably priced, generous portions. High volume so do not expect to be able to hold a conversation. Great selection of beer and food options. Staff members were professional and pleasant.

We have Yard House in Massachusetts and this was the same. Excellent selection of beers on tap (I had four stouts/Belgian strong beers). Huge selection of food with something for everyone. I had the fish sandwich which was crispy and tasty. Service was excellent. Very large and comfortable booths. The prices are good especially considering this is just a block from the Staples Center (or whatever it is called now). Hard to go wrong here.

I expected this to be a typical chain burger joint but I was surprised. The burgers we had were delicious. The food came fast. The server was clearly very busy so he wasn't around much but I'm okay with that. I had the vegan burger which I very much enjoyed.

I often use the Yard House as a go to restaurant when trying to accommodate a large group. They have lots of seating and a menu that can accommodate most dietary restrictions (I.e. vegan and gluten free). The food is decent but not special but the large selection is nice with a group. They also have a great selection of craft beer.

I was looking for a good beer and steak. Got it here without a problem. They have a good selection of stouts, so the drink was good. The steak was done to perfection. Enjoyed every moment of the supper.

Love the wide variety of beer to choose from. Something for everyone. The crew at the bar were quick to serve even though they were massively busy. Cold beer and great music... Good for large groups after a day at the convention center.

Loved this buzzing restaurant in the heart of LA downtown. It was a walking distance from our hotel and was the only packed restaurant in the area so we thought surely it’s worth the try. We ordered the chicken nachos, quesadillas and quinoa salad and they were super.

In town for conference. Ate here with coworkers. Location for is Close to hotel and convention center. Good sangrias.Apperizers were decent. Waiter was good and accommodating.

Lively place with a zillion beers on tap including some hoppy IPAs. Service very good. Had to wait for a table but wasn’t as long as they said. Comfy large booth, very roomy for six of us. Ordered nachos to share. Huge platter, so hot burned my fingers on the plate. Very tasty. But then kind of an odd, long wait for entrees. I ordered the filet, medium rare. Came as ordered, tender but not very big, kind of bland tasting, and cold like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Only ate half. Oddly the mashed potatoes that came with it were warm enough (not hot) but very tasty, and the asparagus cooked perfectly, still crunchy. Noticed business companions didn’t finish their entrees either. Dinner over priced for size of the filet (4 oz? 6 oz?). Tip suggestions on bill were based on total plus tax, not just the total so beware. Might go back but try different meal.

Not sure you can have a bad experience at The Yard House - great atmosphere, people and selections of beverages. I have been from Atlanta to LA and love it! Great is you are down near LA Live or Staples Center

I had lunch, dinner and drinks here over several days. Both meals were good. Each time we sat outside on their covered patio. Noise levels were a lot lower than inside. Service is great.

Expansive and large come to mind when describing this Yard House. Nice patio for outdoor dining is next. The food including their soups and fresh salads are top notch The service was excellent and very reasonably priced. They offer multiple food and beverage specials for happy hour as well Excellent place to host a business lunch

After spending the day at Anime Expo, we were famished. Happily, the Yard House was just across the street from our hotel. Our server, Nigel, was friendly, efficient and unobtrusively attentive. My sister chose the Triple BLT with fries, my g'daughter chose the Cheeseburger with fries and I chose the Thai Pork Chop with rice. Our Dragonfruit lemonade was so refreshing. Vanilla ice cream was just the right ending to our meal.

Long wait but worth it. Enjoyed the food and fun atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. We each ordered something different and all the food was excellent.

We ate here twice as it was convieniently located. Good quality, simple food, and a huge range of draft beers and ciders which we enjoyed sampling. The atmosphere was relaxed and the customer service was good.

This is a very nice looking restaurant and it was very clean as well, including the restrooms. The staff was very courteous from the moment we arrived and our waitress (Nikki) was a doll. They place a great mix of Rock N' Roll music to keep your feet tapping and I really enjoyed that. The mixed drinks are well prepared and not watered down. The food was also very good as was the desert. The Sliders and the Seared Ahi Tuna get a thumbs up. Lastly, the place is well located in L.A. Live with indoor and outdoor seating.

Were in town for the rose bowl so every place was busy especially this restaurant but we had walked from our hotel and decided to stay and wait an hour to eat. It was our best meal all weekend! The menu is very extensive so there is something for everyone. I had the Hawaiian chicken and it was really good. Definitely eat here!

If you’re in the mood for large (a yard size) beer, greasy food, busy crowds, and a noisy downtown scene, this is your place. Stop in an hour early to leave your name on a waiting list in order to avoid long lines when you actually want to dine.

The Thai pork chop was good but the cauliflower “rice” was so so so so salty it was not edible. I was bummed bc I was looking forward to all the veg. On the other hand the service was good but a little weird with the “computer “ assist with ordering. Also!! We played one stupid game of tic tac toe for fun and they CHARGED US $3!!!!! No note no message saying there was a fee bc if there were we wouldn’t have played. That sucked!!!

The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. We were there for appetizers and they are all half price between 4-6pm. They had plenty of tv's inside and out to watch any sport. We were surprised they were able to turn on the Chicago Bears football game..

Loved the location as it was walking distance from our hotel (Residence Inn), and we didn't want to have to worry about parking. We requested outdoor seating and were promptly seated at a table on the patio. Even at night time, the restaurant was busy, noisy and lively. Our server was super friendly, and helpful. My husband was unsure about a beer on the menu and she offered a sampler. We enjoyed lobster salad and delicious queso dip & deviled eggs with drinks, accompanied with her sweet hospitality.

Stopped by here before a LA Clippers game. The atmosphere is great, the staff attentive, and the beer list extensive. We must have come for happy hour as our bill came to about $35 for a number of beers and a share plate. Definitely recommend for those in the area, although Downtown LA is sketchy.

My friend and I were in LA for a show Saturday night and we were staying downtown. Sunday am we went to the Yard House for "brunch". We both ordered sandwiches with fries. When they arrived, the fries were cold. I asked to speak to a manager and a super bubbly gal came over named Oceania. Not sure about the spelling but that's close. She smiled and listened and apologized and said she would have the kitchen make some fresh fries and she would deliver them asap. She was very pleasant and accommodating. She brought the fries and they were delicious! The restaurant should be very proud of the way she handled everything.

The beer selection is massive, I believe they had 140 to choose from. Wait staff was very attentive to our needs and very timely as well. Food was pretty good as well. People watching was great since we sat outside. They even have heaters outside for when it gets a little chilly.

Visited the place 3 times. 2 good experiences (lunch and dinner), food was good and servers were friendly and attentive. 1 very poor experience: Stopped to have a drink at night and bar was full. 95% of their high top tables were empty but we were told (by a very rude male waiter) that they can’t be used. Went to see the hostess just to be told to wait a minimum of 30 minutes... 30 minutes for drinks? and we even offered to do our own service at the bar but they declined... Took our 300 dollar tab somewhere else!

First and foremost this is a great bar for craft beer. There are well over 100 taps, probably closer to 200. Obviously, quantity isn't everything, but there are some real gems in there. The food is OK - not amazing, but not bad either. More than adequate as a beer sponge, and probably fine in many situations, it just feels a little mass-produced and formulaic, rather than gourmet. Having visited twice I can say that the quality of service depends entirely on which server happens to be assigned to your area of tables. On our first visit we were truly spoilt by the energy and enthusiasm of 'Sunshine' who couldn't smile more, or be more helpful. On our second visit, we had a guy (I won't name and shame) who wasn't at all attentive, seemed uninterested, and somehow coordinated our mains to arrive mid-way through our first course (so they were taken back to the kitchen to be kept warm for 15 mins, before being rushed out to us again). On that second visit, Sunshine, bless her, spotted us across the room and came to say hello. If only the staff were all like her.

This place is right in front of LA Live. It's a noisy sports bar with seating outside. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They seated me exactly where I wanted even though it was a busy lunch time--a windowed booth so I could read my book. My server, Rebecca, was cheerful and full of good information. She was a delight and also efficient. I had a hearty salad that was large and well balanced with flavors. The menu is varied and can appeal to everyone from veggie munchers to meat-loving growlers.

My hotel was in the vicinity and was looking a good burger and brew place and found this on Google maps. The place was a good choice with a good beer selection. Would come back if ever in the area again

It was an "OK" experience until the moment I am about to leave... We ordered Poke Nacho, Calamaris, truffle burger, clam chowder, and some drinks... The Old Fashion tasted extremely sweet, it's more like soda than liquor, but the server said it is their recipe.. so we just let it be... I asked our server for the check, she helped me to settle it over the tablet thing they have on the table, she then got my credit card and put into the machine, and she looked at me to adjust the tips gauge... It made me so uncomfortable... I felt so much pressure.... and when she saw the tips I put in, she just WALKED AWAY, no thanks, no nothing! It may not be a big check but still a $100 expenditure for 3 people! I usually put extra cash tips on top of the credit card, but I just lost the motive to do that.

A large restaurant, situated near shopping mall and free carpark. You can order your food in advance. we went in the evening, subdued lighting creates romantic ambience. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a large menu ranging from pizza, burgers to veggie options. Many veggie (chicken dishes) recommend the orange chicken! Huge range of beers (yard long) and cocktails! a combination of booths and tables.

Came her for the crab/lobster dip... it has the anointing on it. This simple snack will satisfy your soul and your earthly desires... this is straight from the heavens..

Visited here twice during my visit. First visit was better than the second one. Service was totally off on the second visit and management didn't seem to want to resolve the issue. I literally sent my food back twice. Not sure if come back.

** RACIST RESTAURANT BEWARE** During the day I work at a Law office and at night I work part-time doing Grubhub order pickups. I received an order to go to YARD HOUSE to pick up a fairly big order. When I got to the restaurant I was a bit confused where to pick up the food. I proceeded to the POS center near the kitchen to ask the waiter for help. I was then approached by a young white male waiter and I clearly told him that I was here to pick up a Grubhub order. He then advised me to follow him. He directed me to the back exit door and then told me to go around the corner and look for food outside. Took me a moment out of shock and dismay that I had been walked out of the restaurant because of my skin color. I will never in my life will go to this restaurant again or even advise my friend/ family to take their dog there to eat. "What a professional racist establishment."

Yard House has probably 20+ TV’s. Showed up at 4:00 Pm to watch LSU vs. Texas A&M. Figured no problem. Not one TV on game. Several TV’s in front of us on Notre Damevs. Stanford and Houston vs. Navy. Manager argued with us that people reserved Tv’s earlier in day. Not one TV in entire place on game. Argued with him that not one person was watching TV in front of us. After a period of time switched TV to LSU game. 1 hour later it was the only TV on the LSU game...and there were only 5 games available on TV on at that time. Most bizarre arguement I’ve ever had with a manager.

Great food, we tried it once during the day and once in the evening. Really friendly staff and great service. If you are going to a game at the staples centre this is ideal to eat before or afterwards.

I had the Korean bbq at the recommendation of the waiter and it did not disappoint. Truly delicious. I also had the Ahi nachos appetizer and was very happy. It was a taste explosion. They had alot of beer selections but I did not partake. Nice atmosphere inside and out.

Went to the Yard House for Dinner since it was within walking distance of our hotel. We were seated right away and our server came over promptly. We actually ordered a lot of different appetizers and shared. Everything was delicious, our server was a delight and I highly recommend the Black Orchid Martini! The restaurant is a little on the loud side but didn't bother us, just something to be aware of if that is something that would bother you.

Nothing special...Good for quick dining. We sat outside and enjoyed the people watching. Would definitely go there for a quick bit.

This location is situated perfectly in LA Live. They did a pretty good job taking care of our bug group. The food is what you expect from a Yard House.

I was at a conference and came to the Yard House for a quick lunch and it didn't fail to accommodate my time and my appetite. The staff was professional and friendly and the food was dellicious.

I had heard of yard house and thought it would be a fun place to have dinner. What I found was overcrowded, expensive and average food. That is all I can really say. Service was good. We had tuna nachos, edamame and tortilla soup. Definitely the worst tortilla soup I have ever experienced. I did not request chowder. It was like chowder. Or maybe the west coast does tortilla soup different than the east coast? But it was thick like a corn chowder. No thanks. Tuna nachos was okay. Bland and just basic. Same with edamame. Total bill for that and one beer was like $60.00. Left feeling unsatisfied and ripped off. Nice waiter though.

This is a chain restaurant, but it's very well done. It's great for slightly better than average American bar food. The beer selection is excellent and service is generally pretty good.

One of the best burger I’ve ever eaten. It hot , juicy, not greasy and served with on a fresh roll and a special sauce. Every taste was perfectly in balance.

This food was amazing we had 9 people and the price was half of what we usually pay. We had appitisers, drinks and meals. Our service was right on with all our food and drinks. We will definitely go there again for our next family vacation.

My husband and I visited here for dinner prior to the LA Lakers game. We had been recommended to visit here by some of our friends, when we told them that we were going to America for our honeymoon. The service was quick and efficient. Our server regularly checked in to see if we were ok and whether we needed anything else. We arrived during the happy hour time, so we ordered some food off the half price list. We got the chicken nachos and the onion rings. The portion sizes were big and the food was fresh and tasty. They also have a whole heap of beers on tap. The venue got busier as it got closer to the game starting. We would love to return if we have the time.

I visit DTLA often, Yard House is always a good choice for casual dinner and a beer. Service is nice, easy going.

We stopped in here because we have never been to one before. So we wanted to give them a try. We had a few appetizers which were the carb cakes and edamame. The edamame has some type of hot/spicy seasoning on it that my wife hated, so we ordered another order without it and she liked them much more. The crab cakes seemed like something that is a premade item that they just stick in the fryer. Not like the fresh made ones I have had before. Next the main meal came. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich my wife had a California roll and my son had a regular chicken sandwich. My wife's and sons were really good. My sandwich had what looked like a small chicken strip on it instead of a chicken breast. They took care of the issue but first impressions are mixed.

Had a business social here after a day of conference sessions! It was a true sports bar scene with a grab vibe If you are going for an event, get there early! The restaurant was packed but service was still great! Food was great & drinks were awesome! We even scored Happy Hours because we got there before 6pm! They had a great variety of food- our table ordered everything from mac n cheese bites, vampire tacos, asian stir fry to salads! Everyone liked their dish!

Average american bar & grill restaurant. Large location with TVs and a bar that can get very crowded if there is an event going on at LA Live. Service was very good, especially considering how busy they were. Nachos were ok. The children's mac & cheese portion was HUGE (way too much for a little one) and didn't look very appetizing the next day for leftovers. It's an okay option, but there are others that are better at LA Live if you're looking for good food & shorter wait times.

Went here in March 2018 with a group of colleagues. The service was great, however the food was average. We had some nachos to begin with and then some noodles after. Nothing exciting, nothing too bad either.

The food was very good and the service was excellent as it was very crowded. Drinks were ok. I would definitely return.

The food was okay I don't have much we had nachos and my daughter had the sliders with loaded fries. We didn't like the cheese and the drink I had was dry. My service was very slow at first I was told they only had two servers. My server was nice and helpful even though I didn't totally enjoy the food.

I was very pleased with the chicken tortilla soup and the garlic noodles which I ordered from the lunch special menu. I was also very happy that they had a reasonably priced kid’s menu! We all enjoyed our lunch & I’ll be back for sure!

Nice music and ambience. This place has a huge selection of beers. Decent food but horrible service. Our waiter didn’t even come once on our table after taking our order. Someone else served it. We wanted to order more dishes so we waited for good 15 minutes before anyone took our order. Plates full of bones were not cleared and Our order was just dumped on the table We wanted to order dessert but did not want to wait again for someone to take our order.

I visited at lunch with a group. There were many other groups dinning at the same time. We waited for a while to order and then waited again for the orders. It meant we were late getting to our next appointment. But the staff were lovely and the food was good.

I am not a great fan of Yard House due to the noise and congestion - however, this location had space between tables and the music was not loud at all. The restaurant was flooded during at conference lunch break. The staff was great at getting people in and out, but without feeling rushed. Our server, Chris C, was good at managing the time to get us served. In fact he gave us enough time that we ordered the Smore Dessert. When asked for some recommendations he was very quick to provide recommendations - he knew the menu! The Buffalo Cauliflower is fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce, nothing terribly complex. It was crisp, not mushy, and had good flavors. The deviled eggs presented well and had a little bit of a different creamed filling which was great. The Abuala's Chicken had a great grilled flavor. The rice was mildly spicy. The rice and beans were only warm, not hot. I would get this again. I did not tell Chris so he had no way to remedy this - we were on a time crunch and had to not push this. There was a ton of staff and they did a great job serving a large crowd. The kitchen seemed to keep up with the pace. A large bar area is an option for food service as well.

Not bad not great. Typical Sports bar with nothing to detract from it and nothing to highly recommend it, unless you want to watch sports and don’t really care about superior pub grub. In the LA live area so has plenty of clientele. While the food isn’t terrible there is nothing to highly recommend it either. Chicken wings, a staple of sports bars, are passable as are other dishes. On the plus side it is aired, friendly and has TVs at a. every angle.

We had various meals here during our stay in LA. It is a very spacious, nice and sometimes very busy place with lots of TVs showing different sports. They have an amazing choice of food options and we can testify the Rib-eye and the Salmon Kale Ceasar Salad to be fantastic. The service personnel is kind and helpful. We even left our credit card behind one day and prompt got it back some hours later when we returned for this. We will definitely return when we are back in LA.

Had an amazing holiday when I was visiting from the UK last week. Our server was so friendly and attentive! The food was amazing and very generous portions for the price. Would definitely recommend if u are in the area!

Across the street from the MDR Doubletree, this restaurant is perfect for either dining in or carry out. I had their salmon Cobb and my husband had the skirt steak with kale. Both salads were fresh and very tasty. My Cobb also had a nice surprise of edamame.

Large restaurant (which is needed given its location), with typical Yard House food and beverage offerings. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of TVs inside, vibrant atmosphere.

Came here for an afternoon lite bite before the LA Kings game. I did enjoy the the Poke bowl and the Ceviche. However I do feel that it is a bit overpriced. One would expect a better and more sophisticated presentation for the price on the menu. Nevertheless, I did also enjoy the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant. Didn't try any of the yard-long draught beer. Will probably do so the next time.

We visited twice during our stay near the staples centre. On our first visit we queued to get a seat where they give you a buzzer. We walked over to the bar and were lucky to get a seat as the place was rammed (6pm). We gave the barman our buzzer back. This place had the best lager ive had in 8 days in the states. All our food was superb and reasonably priced for where it is. Service also very good. On our 2nd visit pre cinema meal and drinks the place was once again very busy. We did however get a seat at the bar. Service this time was a little slower. One of our dishes came out cold. We sent it back with a man bringing food out. 30 mins later no food. Barman said we should have seen him as it would now be thrown away. This is when barman daniel came into his own. Because we didnt have time to wait gor a re cook he refunded the meal and gave us 2 drinks on the house. Very much appreciated. Great spot especially if visiting staples

This is my second Yard House and it didn't disappoint. I went for happy hour and ordered the chicken fingers and fries and the garlic noodles. Always get the noodles! They are so good. Even though they aren't on happy hour it's literally the best appetizer they have. The pineapple mule is great too!

The location is part of LA LIVE! This little area is so cool and alive! There are so many restaurants and a movie theater and a bowling place and it is just a great place for a night out with friends or family! The lights in Yard House are very dim, which could annoy some people, but the tables are lit up nicely. The place has tvs all around so you can watch sports, and the bar area is in the center of the restaurant which is a nice feature as well! I had the mac and cheese and it was AMAZING! Of course I regretted eating the ENTIRE plate, but when it is that good you can't resist! I love the fact that they have an entire vegan selection too! The servers were fast, our food came out quick and we had happy bellies!! I would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed the Vegas location so much and stayed at the JW Marriott next door for a conference so I decided to try them again. It's one of several food options in the LA Live entertainment plaza. This location is a great for ppl watching and before and after sporting events at the Staples Center and has both an after work and late night happy hour which was great after attending the Lakers game. The service was fast and they have an extensive craft beer selection which was a plus. I'd visit again!

Stopped by the Yard House at LA Live recently and tried the cheese curds appetizer. Wow! The warm little pillows of cheesy goodness are delicious. Lightly battered mozzarella cheese bites with a trio of yummy dipping sauces. Goes super with your fave ice cold brew. Try something different and enjoy em!

Luckily popped in before the rush of people going to NBA game! Service was quick, courteous. Food was delicious & everyone found multiple things they debated between to order - shrimp tacos tasty, the carnivore pizza was gone! Fish & chips were pretty fried/battered but still good.

Yardhouse downtown LA is just as good as the other Yardhouses I've visited in the USA. Had the new York steak sandwich and turkey burger with yam fries.....all very good. Love the yardhouse formula !

Visited Yard House for lunch and i wasn't disappointed. Great service and the deviled eggs were amazing. Can't wait for my return visit...

Nice food, we had the lobster noodle and BBQ chicken wings. 2 person can share this as the portions are generous. Good service too!

Loved the yard beers and food was great for a quick bite. Nothing fancy but decent place to have nice dinner with some cold brewskies.

Great food (loved the spicy edamame and their pepperoni pizza) but service devolved to spotty service when the pre hockey game crowd entered this restaurant which is within a short walk to the Staples Center.

Stopped by the Yard House on our way to the Bucks Clippers game. Saw a lot of mixed reviews online but found this to be a great place. We were seated right away and had drinks in hand within minutes. Great selection of beers to choose from. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza and thought it could use more sauce. The kids and I stuck to burgers and they were excellent. Food was served quickly. All in all a great experience!

Sunday 12, November 2017 Usually when I come to Los Angeles, I stop by the fabulous restaurant. We were then seated and placed with the waiter Dean. My mother has high cholesterol, and eating out is usually a problem with her. Even after my mother took so long to place her order, and asking to remove some ingredients & not to fry her Dean went beyond his job and talked to the kitchen to guarantee my mother’s request were met. She was happy in the end & so were we. The food was spectacular, I usually order the tomato soup as an appetizer and I tried the fish tacos. I love them only request is they put more avocado inside and have maybe a sauce. Can’t wait to go back! Don’t ever change the tomato soup!

We visited the YH upon arriving to LA. Service was good.. Food was OK. We loved the staff attitude even when it was packed.

Although the place was crowded we were served fairly fast. and the food was very good and inexpensive.

We had never eaten at a Yard House before and actually passed by this location several times before eating dinner here. The food was awesome & the service was great despite being busy. We will definitely look for locations in other cities!

We ate here for a late night (after concert) meal. The place was very crowded and a line had formed outside. The employees were pleasant and got the people in with just a short wait. Our server was real friendly and the food was good. Loud party-like atmosphere type of place so if that is what you are in the mood for you will be happy.

The service good, it was open late night in the weekend. I tried the lamb burger, it is one of the best burgers in the city.

Our group received incredible service. The placed was packed and we received attention for all of our distinct needs. I loved the salad and pizza options. Very reasonably priced for LA.

Went out with some of my colleagues (party of 5) for a Monday dinner during a conference. We were promptly seated in a pleasant outdoor setting. Our server - George - was very nice, helpful and attentive. Food was good, so were beers we selected. The only little glitch / appetizer arrived after some of us got main course, on positive side - we could”reject” them and got apologies from our waiter. We enjoyed the food which was nicely presented and most importantly tasted real good. Prices are decent here.

Yard House is a sports bar with a great deal of beer and food choices. The food menu can be overwhelming because it has so many choices. We ordered the Poke Bowl and I order the taco plate. My wife really enjoyed the Poke Bowl and the taco plate was OK for a chain restaurant but the food was cold. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the Poke nachos. The biggest problem with the Yard House at L.A. Live is that their prices are outrageous and the parking is absolutely stupid. There is no reason that they should be charging what they charge for food and parking. This is definitely a tourist trap and most people who come here for a meal are either tourists or people wanting to visit the Staples Center for a concert or sporting event. The service was amazing because mainly because we were a table of celebrities, friends and family members celebrating a dedication that took place yesterday at Los Angeles City Hall for some of the World's greatest comedians.

Looking for a place after A movie with grandkids and this was a perfect choice. had great service and tasty food for the children and fast service for meal delivery even on a holiday.

Located near the Staple Center. Had dinner after the Lakers game. Good food, good beers, nice atmosphere.

We were staying at the Marriott across the street so the location was perfect. We ate here 3 times for dinner during out 15 day stay in LA. The menu is large so there is plenty to choose from and there is definitely something for everyone on that menu. Love their happy hour 1/2 of Apps. Our favorite appetizer was the Poke Nachos! yum! The kids loved their onion ring tower. I don't think you will be disappointed with anything you order from there menu. The service was great and fast. This is a large restaurant and pretty busy so I thought they ran pretty efficiently and have the right amount of staff to do so. The weekend we had about a 15 minute wait. This is a casual place. I saw all sorts of attire. The only negative thing I would say is that the bread pudding wasn't that great. It was more of mushy biscuit in some warm milky sauce. It wasn't sweet at all, the way bread pudding should be.

Yard House was conveniently located across the street from our hotel (Courtyard/Residence Inn). We visited on a Thursday evening for dinner and had about a 10 minute wait for a table for two. This place is HUGE and has a large bar area that sits somewhat center of the restaurant. There are TVs located around the restaurant which made it a comfortable place to watch the NBA semi-finals. I'm not sure if there was an event nearby, as this is the downtown L.A. LIVE area, but the restaurant was very busy. Despite the fact that this place was super busy, we received excellent and speedy service. My husband and enjoyed a burger and jerked wings (beware - really spicy) with sweet potato fries that come with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. For dessert we shared the chocolate brownie with a scoop of caramel ice cream which is huge and definitely good for sharing. I would recommend this place for families, couples, friends, or any other groups and would revisit of in the area again. Delicious meal and great service!

BEWARE!!!! They charge 20% tip on the after tax amount….. since when is this a common practice in the US?? Food and service were ok, but the steal when the check came ruined the whole experience.

I had lunch on a Monday here and was able to get in/out quickly with a yummy meal. The price was competitive and the service was great. If live sports had been on, this would've been a sports lovers paradise!

Food absolutely bland, from the spinach dip to the sides. As well as a hair in my tomato soup , our server being so kind was the only okay part of our experience

Yard House does a good job of getting you in & out before a Lakers game without making you feel rushed. They have more beers on tap than you know what to do with including many local micro brews, your everyday favorites (dilly, dilly) and other top choices. The main is vast so you will have plenty of choices.

We were here for a business lunch with about 30 people. The setting is attractive and had a dozen or more TVs, each on a different channel. We had ordered ahead, but with a large group, it still took about 20 minutes to serve us. Appetizers were tortilla chips and warm Spinach Dip and Buffalo Cauliflower. I ordered a Shrimp Cobb Salad. All were very good.

The wait staff was great and fun to interact with. The food was pretty good and average price. The beer selection is massive! Would definitely recommend it for dinner in downtown LA, especially with it being right outside of Crypto Arena.

I went here a couple times to meet up with some friends and both times were great experiences. The drinks were well made and my burger was cooked perfectly. The waitstaff at all times were very attentive and made sure we always were taken care of. If I lived in LA I would definitely make it a point to go there regularly.

Perfectly located near the Staple Center the Yard Houses menu was awesome. The food after a clash of traditional pub fair and other influences.

Had a great time on the patio. Food was fabulous. The waitstaff was spot on. Amazing how busy a place can be and still perform so well. My family was pleased with their meal as well. We would definitely go back.

Before attending our concert we decided to grab a bite to eat before the show start. You can imagine how packed Yard House was. We waited 45mins for a table. When we finally got a table the waitress, Ashley seemed annoyed && irritated at one point during our ordering process. She hardly was attentive to us. But she was seen often at the table next to us. Not sure if it was because they were ordering tons of alcohol. Either way, she wasn’t attentive and we didn’t feel she was interested in making sure we were good. The food was okay. I ordered a vegan dish & the fries I ordered were cold on arrival.

Great food and great service - a great sports bar delivering what you want of a place like this. A bonus for the great variety of music - were reminde dof some old favorites from teh 80s

Had dinner and drinks twice while staying in LA for the Saints/Rams game. Food was really good and Mojitos were the best. Big shout out to Chandler who gave us excellent service!! Who Dat!!

Excellent service, great appetizers and good drinks at the bar while watching our hometown team play ball while traveling for a conference. Try the lobster crab artichoke dip--and ask for all chips instead of half pita bread and half tortilla chips. Good time!

Came here while visiting L.A. for a concert. The food was pretty good but the beer selection was fantastic. Service was ok but not the best. Took a while to get their attention at times.

Greet selection of sandwiches, burgers and just about anything. Great draft beers. Service was great. I could see this being a super place before and after a game/event.

Was a game night, but good food! Has pan seared tuna, was quite good. Great beer selection. Watched the game. Old rock music, very nice!

This place is like a main event in itself. People are very lively, cheering for their teams, staff is super busy yet friendly. Menu offers a nice bar food but also sushi! Great location, it is where things are happening.

My cousin took me to get what he described as ‘real American wings’. They were brilliant! Great portion size, very tasty and lots of meat on the bone. Certainly beat the British wings I’ve had. Lots of different seasonings to choose from. So many different beers to select you will never get thirsty. Televisions everywhere so you can always be watching whatever game is on. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly service. Definitely got a feel of America and American sports here!

This was our first time visiting LA so we decided to grab a quick bite for lunch. Our waitress was great and serve us hot food and cold drinks. We enjoyed it so we went back for dinner.

Prices are high. I assume that’s the location but food was just average and I ordered a burger and it came out raw. Took a while for server to check on how the food was and she took the raw burger away and still charged me. I get kitchens make mistakes but how can’t you try to fix it?

stopped in with friends on our way back to the hotel. Was a nice place to chat, drink a beer, eat some good appetizers and watch the basketball game

Great selection of cratf beers but be careful of the alcohol content!! Great spicy chicken wings, and great vampire 🧛♂️ tacos !! Good value, will go again. Regards Adam

The Yard House is my favorite bar and grill. The service is always great and the food is as well. The servers are always attentive and even though there was a waiting list to get in they were humming around. You can’t go wrong with whatever you chose to order.

Great place for beers and food. A bit crowded on game night though. Great selection in beers and tasty food.

Perfect lunch spot for visits to LA Live. Ask for a seat outside on the patio. I so enjoyed my shrimp/kale salad.

Enjoyed my meal here. Good quality ingredients for a bar. And really enjoyed the large beer selection. Service was great so no complaints!

Get there early, if you don't want to wait, especially on a Game Day for any sports involving LA teams. Bar seating is ONLY up at the bar, not at the tables surrounding the bar, which confused a lot of people. People waiting for a table overflowed into the area where we were seated. Many sat down at empty tables (that were either waiting to be cleared off, or had just been cleaned). But the food was great, the drinks strong, and we enjoyed our meal. Hubby had steak, cooked perfectly, and I had a Roasted Turkey Club Sandwich. I look forward to going to the local Yard House in Seattle.

I had dinner at the bar while watching game 7 of the Dodgers/ Astros. I had the Fried Calamari for an appetizer and the pepper crusted gorgonzola burger for an entrée, and it was cooked spot on, medium rare like I requested. Good beer selection, I had a few.

We just returned from a family vacation to LA and stayed at the Residence Inn near the Staples Center. We came in late and tried out this restaurant because it was walking distance (across the street). Surprisingly good!! If you’re a beer enthusiast, there is a huge selection of fabulous beers (I did a flight). The kids loved the burgers and Mac n cheese. I had the jambalaya that was “knock your socks off” good with crawfish and shrimp. All seven of us loved it so much that we wanted to eat there again before we left, each trying something different!!

We had happy hour snacks and drinks before a conference event -- everything was as expected. We felt the price we paid for the food and drinks we received was fair. Yard House is predictable, as a chain restaurant should be.

This place was pretty busy, but did not have to wait. Staff was helpful, and the beer was cold. I had the seafood pasta, and it was okay. The hamburgers looked VERY GOOD.

I cannot believe how well our visit to Yardhouse worked out! We were late for a movie and needed a quick bite. I have no idea it was BET Awards night and the entire area was mobbed. We thought for sure we would not get in for a quick dinner before movies, but we were wrong and we were treated like we were the only patrons at the restaurant. Our order was taken and as requested our check came with our food and the service was out of this world! This seems like a large chain place like Cheesecake Factory but I would say that the service and class out ranks that chain. We selected this restaurant because some of our guests wanted salads and some wanted tacos, The menus came with calorie counts and that was great for assisting us in making our selections. The food was fabulous and fast! I will always comeback here with a group or family all are welcome.

I enjoyed lunch with one of my friends here last year. She and I both enjoyed our lunch here together. I returned here again to enjoy my solo dinner. I have had positive experiences with other Yard Houses. The place was packed earlier when I passed by the restaurant around 5:30pm. There was a line out the front door waiting to get tables. I returned later that day around 8 pm, when I was able to get my nice solo table overlooking the bar area. I started with a nice Breckenrich nitro draft porter. What I really enjoy with Yard Houses is the very extensive selection of draft beer. I also enjoyed my pasta with lobster dinner. George Z. took care of my table needs. My total bill was $37.78 less gratuities. I will definitely return here or to other Yard Houses. After my dinner I walked back to my Indigo Downtown hotel. My top two hotels in this area are the JW Marriott and the Indigo. Both are within walking distance to LA Live, Staples Center and the LA Convention Center.

This is the 2nd Yard House I've been to and the food was just as good as it was the first time. The food is nice, fresh and portioned well. If you're into beers like my husband is then you'll love it here. They have a separate menu filled with different beers and alcohol. Both locations I went to (other was in Vegas) had an outdoor seating area which is nice. Overall a nice place with good food!

Always fun to get the photo with the half yard of beer! Extensive menu and the food we ordered was good..

Food was okay! Drinks were fairly week. I think you should order beer if you go here. Food was okay for all of us... but the Peach Cobbler was phenomenal!!!

Found location on google- overall was good service and food only thing husband ordered onion rings didn't like it was sweet.

This Yard House is in a prime location and gets packed quickly! Be sure to arrive much earlier than you think you need, not only to get a seat but to get your order in time to eat if you are on a time constraint. We ate here for lunch and for a late dinner. Lunch was not as busy and we were seated fairly quickly, but dinner was insanely packed. We opted to wait for some stools at the bar to open and pounced as soon as we saw people getting their jackets. The food is good with nice portion sizes and value. The bar staff are attentive and there are tv screens throughout so you can watch the games basically from any angle. Good choice!

Laid back atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices. Unfortunately our waitress was vegetarian, so she couldn't really advise on meat, nevertheless she was rather helpful. Would be happy to visit again.

Stopped in for dinner before concert at Staples Center. Staff was friendly at hostess station. Long list of beers. Place was packed before the concert and we were still suprised by how fast each course came out. Server was right on top of things to keep drinks filled. Food was very good. Tomato Bisque was so good! If there is a line, wait for a table. We are so glad we did. But, did see one couple talk the hostess into getting seated in front of quite a few people already waiting. That was the only issue.

I had a great burger and a normal sized portion of fries (not a ridiculous huge portion). Good service and lots of sport on the TVs. Lots of different beers.

It was the third attempt trying to get into the restaurant without an hour-and-a-half wait. This time we only waited 20 minutes and got seated. Service was quite quick and the food was good. Little higher prices.

The food was good service was okay. Chicken tortilla soup was very good. House salad met expectations. Seafood pasta was very average. my original server was sent on break and he did a good hand off to the new server. But the new server never came back and offered me a drink refill. My glass is empty for about 15 minutes before I finally paid and left.
Perfect eatery before our concert
We went here before our concert for some appetizers and drinks and got right in, had a fabulous server who checked on us often, rushed the bill and got us out in time to walk across the way to the Microsoft Theater. It was slammed packed here before the concert but the level of service we got was top notch like we were the only ones. Food good like it is at all locations.
