We felt so lucky to have found Yellowtail for our final meal in the city. After 4 days of underwhelming meals. mediocre service and/or feeling financially stripped, this restaurant restored our faith in Las Vegas as a culinary force. Everything was perfect from our cozy booth to the exceptional service to the extraordinary food. We ended up with 3 items to share after our waiter kindly advised us to order modestly and in waves if we wanted more. Following Sweet Chili Edamame and Lychee Puree Cocktails, we enjoyed braised Wagyu Beef Short Ribs with puffed rice, garlic teriyaki and baby root vegetables along with Popping Spicy Crab Rolls (yes, with pop rocks!) Service was 100% on point - informative, helpful, polite, timely, unobtrusive and friendly. We also got the most amazing view of the Bellagio Fountains along with a priceless photo taken by a generous patron. My one regret is that we didn't make the evening a grand event by ordering the Omakase with sake pairings. Next time for sure!

Unreliable at best The manager assured that we would have a table between 8-9pm and we spent 1hr+ getting there. When we arrived the manager told us there’s no way we could sit outside on our anniversary. The food is not worth the volatility. The view is spectacular but the manager is a jerk and the food is not worth it.

It is a great restaurant Good price / value Great varand quality of food Good looking and professional staff

Probably the best Japanese in the world Always the tuna pizza the Tataki salad the Wagyu steak indescribable Desserts like mochi, lychee sorbet or apple and ice cream cake are a real treat Try a table outside facing the Bellagio fountains because the noise in the room is unbearable Expensive but well justified

We came here for a late-night drink and meal. Everywhere was full, but we were able to get a spot at the bar. It was busy so there was a slight delay in getting our drink order in, but the bartender was excellent with a great attitude that made all of the difference. My husband got the gyoza and spicy miso, where I got the regular miso and a variety of sushi. It was all very excellent. That was..... until I got super sick. I wasn't feeling that swell start when we got back to our room and by morning I was worshipping the porcelain goddess. I only had one glass of wine and a small glass of sake along with our meals. I love sushi and only got my favorite things.

If you love sushi, get the Omakasa. It’s 6 courses, but each course is quite large and filling. The 6th course is dessert, so go all in!

Dinner time the venue is very nice we did a reservation and was able to have a nice seating. Service felt rushed the server took our order but was pushing us to order quickly. We order some appetizer, main and sushi. The main came before the appetizer and the appetizer and sushi took a long time. The shareable main it’s not shareable but mostly for 1 person. Ordered a cocktail Spicy avocado and it was tasteless. Server didn’t even can to check on the food or the table didn’t even noticed that the food came backwards with appetizers last. For the price and the “Michelin Chef” I think it was not an amazing at all.

Yellowtail never disappoints! We dined here a few years ago and couldn't wait to try again visiting Vegas. We were seated at one of the open tables at the entrance and it was absolutely perfect as we love to people watch! There was a team of 2 servers who did a great job of taking care of us and their other guests. The food is impeccable and literally melts in your mouth. We had the trio sushi "carpacchio", the Angry Yellowtail along with some other sashimi. Yes, it is pricey, but well worth the experience. This is a must go to place for us when we are in Vegas!

Went for our anniversary and wife's birthday and we agree that this is our favorite restaurant in Vegas. Sat on Balcony and experienced great fountain shows and the food was absolutely the best! Service also was GREAT!!!

Go for the Salmon!!! OMG! My mouth was so delighted in a explosion of flavors, I just loved it! If you care the price, yes it is a little expensive but we only live once you know ;)

Our meal at Yellowtail was phenomenal! Our server Kuba was superb and we will definitely return each and every time we are in Las Vegas. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and this was one of the best meals we have every had!

We had Blue Fin Toro Tuna Sashimi, Tuna Rolls, Tuna Sushi, Tuna Tataki & Wagyu Ribs. All the food was the best so far (I often eat Japanese). Our place overlooking the fountain was great and the waiter extremely friendly. This has its price, but is ok compared to other places on the level. Please keep it up & thank you for the great experience!

We enjoyed a very delicious meal at Yellowtail. Service was great and our choices were satisfying and nicely cooked. Great presentation. The only negative for me was the acoustics. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. The fountain display at Bellagio a plus.

Disappointed with service, won’t be rushing back. We came back here as a year before we had lovely experience here. Our server had a shift change while we were still having food and the next server didn’t even bother showing up. We were just forgotten

We made reservations here and sat on the “patio” so we could people watch which is always fun I’m Las Vegas. Service was great. Food was good, but not as good as some other sushi places in LV. The sunset drink is outstanding and I highly recommend it!

Nice food, but portions are very small, and prices on the other hand very high. Waiter seemed annoyed. Very loud and waiting time much longer than usual in USA.

We had a view outside to the fountain show which runs throughout the night. Food comes out quickly and there is a wide selection. Highlights were the broiled black cod and the eggplant skewers. The seafood is so fresh and prepared with precision. A great place to visit prior to a show as you don't have a long wait for your food.

Delicious, but on our last visit, we only managed to receive two appetizers and a bottle of sake in two hours. We left without dinner, had our entrees cancelled let us go with a shrug. Definitely not a kitchen issue, as we saw lots of folks served around us. This was a ruined dinner experience. Give yellowtail more time. They are not yet back and running well following COVID.

It was our first time at Yellowtail and it did deliver on every single level. We had a reservation for an early dinner before we headed out to “O” (also located at the same casino). Our table was overlooking the fountain at Bellagio, so, in addition to a dinner, we got to enjoy a beautiful show as well. The food was fantastic: tuna pizza w/truffles was exquisite, sushi was perfect, sake was smooth and, somehow, crispy tofu ended up being one of the faves. The service was simply flawless. We are looking forward to coming back to Yellowtail.

WOW!! Ten Stars!!! What a WONDERFUL meal!!! I have several food allergies and Yukiko helped find me several delicious options. She navigated the menu and had the chef tweak foods. I've never been guided by the waitstaff so well. Oh, and did I mention, the food was OUTSTANDINGLY fresh and delightful!!!

Really enjoyed the food and presentation. It was a spectacular meal and I did not mind spending the money I did for it. It was worth every penny. We enjoyed the lobster bites and I would strongly recommend that we had a sashimi tuna type pizza.Black cod with a Sake foam. Cucumber salad. All great!

I had to cancel a dinner reservation here due to a personal emergency situation that involved ending my Vegas vacation early. I was charged $75 for this cancellation, despite the very serious circumstances. What a sleazy and greedy cancellation policy. I’ll be sure to never actually dine at this restaurant in the future.

When Im in Vegas and stay at Bellagio, I never skip this place. All dishes are very good and the staff has historically been great. The only complaint I may have is on the dessert, it tasted fantastic, but is a petite portion!

We had an early reservation for Yellowtail as we were supposed to see a show that evening that later was canceled. The restaurant was kinda of empty at 5 PM. Even though it was empty we were not seated anywhere near the windows. The view might have overcome some of the averageness of the meal. Our appetizer was the Angry Yellowtail which is tuna sashimi in a spicy blood orange sauce. The tuna was high quality, and the sauce interesting, but the portion size was ridiculously small. The sashimi was cut paper thin. Just really overpriced for what it was. We then had the cucumber salad and Japanese pickles as a sort of salad course. They were tasty. As our mains, we shared: the mixed tempura, spicy tuna roll, and a Yellowtail scallion roll. Everything was tasty, but again portions were small. The 2 sushi rolls were about the diameter of a quarter. The smallest sushi rolls that I have ever seen. We had no dessert. Our drinks were a sparkling sake and diet Cokes shared. Our service was fine, nothing remarkable. All in all, a very average but overpriced meal. Cannot say we had anything that made us feel greatness. Having been to Japan, the sushi was average quality. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Just ok. Akira Back in Toronto blows this place away!! It’s sooooo much better. Even the tuna / mushroom pizza. Tao in vegas blows this place away also

Beautiful setting and wonderful selection. Food was great. All good. No down-sides. Sushi, of course!

Everything was really good at the restaurant and had a great service but later that night I got food poisoning and felt really Sick.

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge is a great place to go for delicious and fresh sushi and drinks in a cool and unique atmosphere. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need for the best meal. Good experience every time I have been here.

Tried Yellowtail at Bellagio for the first time. Service was good and the food tasted great but you are definitely paying for location. Portions were small to medium sized. Three sushi rolls, a shrimp tempura, pork dumplings, and one cocktail came to almost $160.

Took a business group to this restaurant in Bellagio. Not exactly sure what I expected, but also not sure Yellowtail stacked up. The drink list is interesting and we ordered a couple of traditional Japanese options and enjoyed them. The tuna pizza appetizer was unique and very good. From there we ordered shared plates for the table and several sushi roles. And...one of the guys had the filet and said it was really good. The role with the pop rocks was fun and tasty, but the rest of the roles didn't seem all that unique or interesting. Nothing was bad, but it didn't wow us either. The apple dessert was good, but everyone just had a bit or two and we didn't finish it. Overall, I would go again, but it wouldn't be a place I'd seek out.

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We had a sampling of the sashimi, rolls, and a few of the hot dishes. My favorite items were the rock shrimp roll, big eye tuna pizza, Yellowtail Jalapeno, and lobster carpaccio. The Japanese Manhattan is also amazing. Great restaurant!

The short ribs are to die for, as is the lobster tempura. Ate there twice this trip, no disappointments, but again is pricey. One trip had a two top front window seat for the fountains. Second visit had the Omakase, highly recommend.

Overpriced food and it was average in taste. We get better sushi back home in Missouri. Only positive is the view of the fountains while your eating.

I come to Las Vegas once a year. Yellowtail is always a must visit. This year I ate here 3 times in a row. Each night I sat at the bar for dinner. Ernie and Alicia were our servers. They were so great taking care of us. Everything we ate was amazing. Yes, it’s pricey. But the entire menu is delicious. I love the sunset blood orange yuzu drink. The sushi is so fresh. And all of the food items are so unique. I can’t wait to come back next year!

I was with my husband on business in Vegas, and this wonderful spot was recommended to us. I am a HUGE sushi lover, and this place more than exceeded my expectations! The protein roll was the best thing I’ve literally ever put in my mouth! The service was pristine…very attentive and friendly! Drinks were wonderful. All around a stellar experience! I would hop a plane to dine here…not kidding! If you are wondering, DO NOT! Book your reservation…NOW!!!

Very delicious food prepares with care We felt as if MR SANJAY KAPOOR himself prepared the food Not spicy Mutton rib was the best served

Took us a bit to find Yellowtail, but really worth the search! I won’t bury the lead, the food and service were both on point. Would absolutely come here again. We started at the bar which was fun and tried the sunset specialty drink which honestly tasted like a vodka grapefruit, but good nonetheless. Had the usual suspects of the dumplings and edamame which were both tasty. Then seated with a fabulous view of the water show! Yeah! I tried the amazing tuna pizza! Holly smokes!! Could eat that again and again! We finished off our dinner with the specialty crab and shrimp roles. Filling and super fresh and delicious. So our only knock is it was a bit loud…but we are in Vegas.

I've eaten a lot of sushi in my life but never anything that compares to the quality of sushi we had at Yellowtail. We were there celebrating our anniversary so they kindly sat us at a table right by the window looking out over the fountains which was amazing. Such a lovely setting at which to enjoy a good dinner. Our server was brilliant and he kindly talked us through the menu as it was the first time we'd eaten there. He was happy to offer recommendations on quantity and menu choices which was just what we needed as there was such a lot of choice. We ended up ordering the pork gyoza to start, followed by the Mile High (tempura crab, avocado, asparagus) and "AB" Crispy Kalbi (with beef) speciality sushi rolls. What a choice! The gyoza were like nothing I've ever tasted before (and trust me, I've eaten a lot of gyoza in the past). They were delicate and packed full of the most delicious pork filling that was so juicy and flavoursome. The dipping sauce that came with them just added that little bit extra to the overall taste without over powering them. They were subtle yet tasty. Then for the speciality rolls - these were the crowning glory of the meal. They were incredible. The rice on both sets of rolls was perfectly cooked and formed but had a crispness around the edge that just added to the overall taste and texture. The filling on both rolls were perfectly balanced and seasoned and the sauce that accompanied the tempura crab rolls had a warm kick to it that just enhanced the flavour of the fish. The Crispy Kalbi rolls were so unusual as they were filled with beef and topped with a type of coleslaw that just worked so incredibly well. The beef itself melted in the mouth and was clearly such high quality. I was able to bite my sushi piece in half (including the beef) without it all falling apart so that shows how tender it was. I could easily have ordered an extra portion of either one of those sets of rolls but unfortunately we were a bit too full by that point and needed to leave room for pudding. Our server recommended the 'Chocolate in a cup' to us and to be honest, as soon as he'd mentioned the words "nutella", "melted" and "chocolate" we were never choosing anything else. It was basically a chocolate fondant type pudding in a cup that had nutella inside and melted ice cream in the middle. It was as delicious as it sounds! It just topped the whole meal off perfectly. I would go as far as to say it was my favourite meal of our whole trip to the USA. We walked away from the restaurant feeling comfortably full but not overly so. It was just so good. A big thank you to our serving staff who made the evening extra special from providing their recommendations, to offering to take photos of us out on the balcony while the fountains were going off. They really did pull out all the stops and it was such a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary.

My partner and I had dinner here on NYE night and they had a set menu. Our faves were the Halibut and the Tuna Pizza (SO GOOD). We also got a great view of the fountain show outside.

Ate here twice, again this trip. Great food, excellent service, outstanding choices in alcohol. I have a serious crush on Ashley, server in the lounge lol. Must stop every trip

The outside seating was quite nice eith being on a patio overlooking the fountain show and Paris. The tuna pizza was incredible as well as the protein roll. Mythca was our server and very attentive. I will be back.

Great service, absolutely delicious, accommodating, great prices, friendly staff~ couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Everything taken into consideration then this place is too expensive for what you get. Don’t get me wrong but sushi roll was very small not that god but super expensive. Salmon pizza was great. Waitress was sweet and fast. Would I go back? Probably not as value for the money just isn’t there.

We loved it here, great service, and amazingly fresh sushi Gives our favourite sushi places at home a run for their money! Waitress first night was really good, then we came back a second time ! and the waiter was really on the ball too Good wine list as well !

Great sushi. You have many choices. The prices are regular. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this place. Our dishes came really early. If you want to have fountainview is better to book your reservation in advance.

The chef's tasting menu at Yellowtail was solid, if unspectacular. Service was attentive and professional. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the Tuna Pizza is a standout.

Visited on 11/7 for a birthday celebration, party of 6- Mickel was our server. Wonderful service, good recommendations and information. Food comes out as it is ready so you don't necessarily eat all together but it allows for sharing and experimenting. All of the staff we interacted with was gracious and very conscientious. Wonderful evening of fellowship and fabulous food and fun!

We got the prefix which we enjoyed. It allowed us to sample a lot of items. It was very good, not great, but very good. The restaurant was nicely decorated. If I went again, I would not order the prefix menu. I would suggest doing it your first time there. Obviously expensive, and not sure I would go again. I assume most who go are comped, so if the case cost is not as big an issue. Not a bargain, very good foot, and pretty good ambiance.

My son and daughter joined me for dinner and our table was out front where all the action is. We had so many items on the menu both front and back that I was glad we had a large table. Kudos for the selection of food morsels that whet our appetites and did not disappoint. All the various suggestions were spot on. We had the best time. Meal excellent service was fantastic.

We ate outside with amazing views of the fountains. While it took a bit to narrow down what we wanted, once our orders had been put in the food was quick to arrive and every dish was amazing. We all were very full by the end of the evening. The drinks were amazing.

I have been to Vegas 30 times and stayed at Bellagio some 25 times. At the Bellagio I have eaten often at Noodles, their buffet and Spago (including when it was at Caesars) and have tried Jasmine and Picasso. On a busy night Noodles was full for dinner and the buffet line was long and Yellowtail had open seating so we decided to try it merely for convenience instead of trying to get to one of our favorites on the strip. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dishes. The susho rolls had taste and style and we liked the fried tofu and steak. And a fun place to dine as it has some vibe to it. Definitely a restaurant we will come back to.

Enjoyed appetizers and wine here on our first night in Vegas. Food was great but the service was the best we have ever enjoyed.

Ate at the bar with my husband because we didn’t have a reservation. It was a great experience, from service to beverages to scrumptious food. You should try it out!

Had high expectations but was disappointed. Sushi - fish was ok, but rice was a bit firm compared to what is available in good japanese restaurants. Oysters were more on the fishy side of the spectrum. Tempura shrimp was a bit overcooked. Overall food was just OK, but not worth the price we paid. Wish we had gone to Chinatown instead.

My buddy and I were in the mood for some good sushi and since we had some food credits at the Bellagio, figured we'd give Yellowtail a try. The menu is very traditional with a good choice of both warm and cold shared plates and a very good selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and house specialty rolls. Ordered some gyozu (dumplings) that were delicious and several tuna, salmon, and crab rolls. The sushi rice was excellent, and the fish was some of the freshest I've ever had--that tuna was swimming the day before. Overall a very good meal that didn't leave us feeling too full. They also have a great selection of cocktails--they lychee martini is especially good!

We had dinner here three times last week and the food and service is fantastic. All of the staff serving us were absolutely superb and we would certainly recommend this place . Really great tasty food.

The service and sushi we’re phenomenal. But the view of the Bellagio fountain was priceless. Sit on the veranda. It’s worth the wait. The sushi pizza is so good we ordered a second one. It’s expensive - but you’re in Vegas so who cares.

I did not have a reservation and walked in around 7pm. The lady at the desk was nice and assisted me by offering the bar set up since there were no reservations until 9om. The service was good, the food was good, and I did not find it crazy expensive. I enjoyed my experience very much.

We had a good experience at Yellowtail. The food, presentation and the service were excellent. (They kindly accommodated my food sensitivities and the replacements were delicious!) One thing: We were happy to see the crowds have returned in full, but the ambience is not conducive to conversation across the table. It’s very loud, probably due to the hard floors. But otherwise, we enjoyed the food and service very much.

I’m not sure anything will ever top this dining experience. We were treated to a completely private balcony table overlooking the fountains. We didn’t order a single item other than our cocktails. Everything was ordered for us based on our tastes and preferences and it was perfectly splendid in every way possible. Thank you to Yukiko at Yellowtail for making our evening spectacular!

The food at Yellowtail was absolutely amazing. We did the chef testing menu and was NOT disappointed. Loved the roll with the pop rocks and the short rib roll was out of this world! A must go back restaurant.

Super good quality food and drinks with excellent service in the restaurant. This place was by far our favourite in Vegas! The black cod was delicious, good sake recommendation, very fresh and well presented sashimi. Go here if you want quality.

This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. From the sushi rolls to the ambiance to the service, it's impeccable and you leave looking forward to your next visit. I highly recommend the big eye tuna pizza. The manager, Irene, has visited my table to check on us on my last two visits and she has a way of making you feel special, like you're the only table there (when they're full) - it's quite a talent. Can't wait for my next visit!!

Enjoyable meal with good ambiance but unfortunately crowded and loud. Delicious tuna pizza had truffle oil which was a great addition. The angry yellowtail was fantastic starter with cilantro and gentle spice. The Spicy tuna roll was super fresh. Cucumber salad was refreshing. Surf and turf was good, but lobster could have been more flavorful. Expensive for two people but normal for a restaurant in a big casino in Vegas!

Simply amazing. Were able to get a seat on the beautiful patio and watch the Bellagio fountains all night. That would’ve been good enough, but the food was amazing( we did the tasting menu) and the service was spot on with our waiter, Brian? I think that was his name He was helpful, he was attentive, and he had a very subdued personality that was quite pleasing . A little pricey for sure, but this is Vegas today . I would highly recommend, and we will be back For me, I would definitely eat here again, and I would not say that so much for Prime, Le Cirque or Picasso all of which were a little pretentious for me. Take it for what it is worth .

This is, by far, the best Japanese food I have ever eaten; way better than Nobu or Sushi Samba. Our server, Guy, was also excellent and he curated a fantastic tasting menu for us, which included salmon truffle “pizza”, short ribs, tuna sashimi, tempura lobster and a nutella soufflé. All were first class. Highly recommended.

The food was very average and the atmosphere was impersonal. Our server was passionate about the food and had a great knowledge of the menu. To sit outdoors, minimum spend is $125 pp.

We love Yellowtail and are always impressed by the food and consistency. We, of course, had the Big Eye Tuna Pizza as well as the Poppin Rocks roll. This time we also tried the Halibut which was delicious. Our server, Mikel (sp?) was excellent. He suggested a side of rice with the Halibut and it was perfect to soak up all the delicious sauce. We will definitely return next time we're in town.

Ate at the bar. Food was amazing. Sushi was the best I've had in years! Gyoza was yummy. Service was great!

Beautiful location inside the Bellagio with the view of the fountain. The food was exceptional & the service was immaculate. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

WOW, one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The service was outstanding. Chanez M was our server and she was by far the best waitress ever. She made some wonderful recommendations and even surprised us with a Crab hand roll after our Wagyu beef dish that was the perfect compliment. We tried many different dishes and all were fantastic. You have to get the Tuna Pizza!! We met the GM Jamie Dumas on our way out and he was just as friendly and professional as Chanez. You can tell they have created a First Class culture of people and food. We will be back.

Was able to get a last minute reservation and very thankful for that. The service was good and the sashimi was outstanding. We had a mixture of rolls, tempura, and the star of the show "New Style" Sashimi which is HIGHLY recommended. You really can't go wrong here and the view of the water show is awesome as well.

What an amazing meal. This may have been the best seafood meal we have ever eaten. We had the Jalapeño Yellowtail, the Halibut, and something recommended by our server not on the menu. It was called the Mile High Roll. OMG- Tuna, Salmon, Crab Cake, and other things I can't remember. It was to die for. I strongly recommend dinner here.

I chose Yellowtail based on its location and menu for our 29th anniversary and trip to Vegas. It did not disappoint. Not only was the food exceptional (we had a variety from the menu), but we were given the best table in the house, a private table for 2 on a Juliet balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Our server, Jessica, gave us recommendations that were spot on and absolutely delicious. She was excellent. I highly recommend Yellowtail!

Overpriced but everything in Vegas is now expensive. Otherwise and excellent choice and a fantastic meal. Great service and quality food.

You’ll leave hungry here. Sharing plates include very little food. Sashimi is scraps. Thank goodness we ordered sushi or we would have had to order pizza afterwards. Cocktails are $20. Prices are very high for what you get. My family was very disappointed. Upside is that’s there is a decent view of the Bellagio fountains and service was attentive.

Had a wonderful dinner here for business. What we ordered: Gyoza. These are hard to mess up on and theirs did not disappoint. The tomato salsa was surprisingly good with the dumplings. (But the best gyoza is at Tao in the Venetian) Shrimp/veg tempura: Very, very good. Even had a lotus vegetable! Shishito peppers: Blistered nicely. Not one spicy one in the pile though. Edamame: very ordinary Yellowtail jalapeno sushi: OMG. Great pop and fish was expertly sliced, The blood orange sauce was a a light touch. Very delicate, but warms the palate beautifully. Spider-cut roll: Husband raved about it. Dessert: Apple Harumaki: EXCELLENT. Not too sweet but fills the sweets craving. (Cinnamon cream cheese with an apple gelato)

Atmosphere was nice. Service was great! Food was tasty and prompt. Presentation was a big disappointment. We had a large number of hors d'oeuvres, wine, drinks etc. The hors d'oeuvres were tasty and presentation was average at best. My dad ordered a broiled piece of fish that was small and looked lost on his plate. We ordered what I would consider traditional sushi rolls, Unagi, Spicy Tuna, California, Mile High, etc etc....there was ZERO presentation. I've seen more care from strip mall sushi. I just changed my rating from 4 to 3 the more I think about it. Really disappointed considering the price.

Restaurant designed by Michelin-starred chef Akira Back. The interior is beautiful and well maintained. Exclusive location that also allows you to view the spectacle of the Bellagio fountains directly from the restaurant terrace. Really high-end Asian cuisine. Excellent all the various dishes we ordered and as a plus there is the fact that you can divide the portions. So having been a dozen people at the table we were able to order and taste various different dishes, thus enjoying many of the chef's creations that are served in the restaurant.

Went there on 4th July for a solo dinner. Being a woman of color and on a solo date- my waiter was super rude to me; talking down on me. Asked him for recommendations on what to order or what’s their signature dish is- he was not willing to help. Ordered the sushi and it didn’t come as a roll. Basically- I was treated like a third rate citizen. Disappointed especially because the food actually tastes good and the ambiance too. Not sure I’d be back so soon.

There are very few moments of eateries where I ate that changed my outlook on food. With one hand I can count those moments: 1) Biergarten in Rothenburg, Germany 2) First Michelin-Star experience at La Folie in San Francisco, CA 3) Horn BBQ in Oakland, CA. You can count this restaurant as number four. I came here on the first Wednesday night in August 2022 prior to the Silk Sonic concert. Throughout my 5-day vacation in Vegas I never expected to be a pescatarian. In terms of meat I rank in order beef, pork, chicken, turkey, duck, and fish. This restaurant would be my third night I had seafood for dinner. I didn't know what to expect as I had seafood for dinner on Monday and Tuesday. I ordered several items. As this restaurant is named Yellowtail having two yellowtail dishes made sense. The first dish served was the Angry Yellowtail. I don't like yellowtail that is cooked. Having a sashimi-style raw yellowtail in sauce was a great way to start dinner. The "angry" portion of this dish is the sliced jalapenos that add a bite to the dish. The second dish served was the Akira Back Tuna Pizza. I'm not a fan of seafood pizza, but the tuna pizza at Yellowtail wasn't your ordinary pizza. The crackers act as a crust and had a buttery texture. The thinly sliced tuna with its seasoning tasted similar to prosciutto. Eating the Tuna Pizza at Yellowtail made me realize that it was one of the best six fish dishes I ever had. The third dish served was the eel sashimi. The eel wasn't too boney or too oily. There was a meaty texture. The fourth dish served was the Yellowtail Scallion Rolls. Certain fish have different texture when they are either fried or raw. I've had yellowtail deep fried and the texture is almost liver-like due to its dark colored flesh. The raw yellowtail I ate at this restaurant is more of my preference. The fifth dish served was the Protein Specialty Rolls. At first the inside reminds you of a California Roll, but there is no imitation crab. There are three layers: crab in the middle, rice wrapping around the crab, and slices of fish on top of the rice. Bar none the best sushi roll I ever had. This dish is the other dish that is one of the six best fish dishes I ever had. I mentioned that the two dishes I had at Yellowtail were two of the best six fish dishes I ever had. This is how I rate my favorite fish dishes overall: 1) my mom's home cooked catfish sinigang 2) Daing Bangus at FOB Kitchen in Oakland, CA. 3) Akira Back Tuna Pizza at Yellowtail 4) my dad's home cooked catfish adobo 5) Steckerlfisch at Augustiner-Keller at Munich, Germany 6) Protein Specialty Rolls at Yellowtail. Eating at Yellowtail dramatically changed my eating experience as two restaurants I ate at prior to eating here, I downgraded them one star lower than I normally would have. I didn't have low expectations prior to eating at Yellowtail - I just had no expectations. There were a couple of places I was more excited to eat at when I made reservations, but Yellowtail wasn't one of them. After eating at Yellowtail I was blown away with my dining experience with their usage of cooking fish. The Las Vegas culinary scene has changed dramatically throughout the years. The city was known for its buffets in the last century. Then you had celebrity chefs with their eateries in the current century. I've eaten at buffets, steakhouses, French, Asian, and Italian restaurants on The Strip. Of all the places I've eaten in Vegas there's no doubt the best place I've eaten in Sin City is Yellowtail.

Enjoyed a late lunch in this classy restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. And the food whilst a limited menu (because it was in between lunch and dinner) was great. Recommend the Kobe sliders along with the sushi box. Overall a good choice and very much recommend.

Terrible service and experience at the Yellowtail in the Bellagio. Not what you expect from a venue of this quality and expense. Booked a table for 7:45. 2 hours later we had only just had our starter served. During thus time: table next to us - who arrived after us- had had 3 courses, including the same starter as us, the food runners twice tried to deliver our mains before we even had our starters and at no point did our waitress check on us. Gave up in the end just as our starters eventually came out. Spoke to the manager who apologised and said they were super busy. It is the Bellagio on a Sunday night. A restaurant of this quality expects to be this busy, it is booked up every night. Should have known the omens were not good as there was a lady complaining when we went in that she had been waiting 40 minutes and hadn't even had a drink. Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen is at Caesar's next door. Better hope he does not visit. He will have a field day. Shame as it ruined the last night of our holiday.

I made a reservation for a Thursday evening about a month in advance for 630 pm with request to sit in the patio that overlooks the belliago fountain. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated by 645, with a great patio seat. The whole experience was perfect from the dining experience, servers, food!, and fountain view! I enjoyed the mile high and angry salmon. The mile high was the best sushi of my life. So good! I read review that the Apple Harumaki was great! I enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t order it a second time.

Bad experience at reception, couldn’t find a confirmed reservation first, then found it, waiting with kids almost 15minutes standing at frontdesk. No excuse. Then table with view to an ugly wall between tables with full view at the fountain. Overpriced for an atmosphere like at a canteen, avoid eating there with kids as they do not seem to be welcome

My brother and I ate here last week. I would recommend this to any sushi lover and put this at the top of my list Vegas and beyond. Yukiko our server was great.

Didn't have a reservation but got a table immediately on the outer edge of the restaurant. Didn't want a huge meal as it was 9pm so we were very happy with our choices. Service was good and so was the food. We had a few starters and a mix of sushi rolls and thoroughly enjoyed our selection. Personally we loved it and looking around at what other people were having so did they!

We are lucky to frequently go to good restaurants but we particularly liked this one: the setting with the Bellagio fountains just behind, the excellent food and the service. We really had a unique time with our children.

What a fabulous dining experience. Our waitress was so knowledgable and nice. She suggested whatever we ordered my husband & I share. I loved that honesty so we didn't over order food (since there was no room in our fridge for leftovers due to the fridge sundries! :O( Drinks-Essence (light, refreshing) & Dragonfire (spicy). We ate the salmon pizza. Get it, it's not as bad as it sounds. Sooo delicious! We also ate the popping spicy crab sushi (it has pop rocks in it-genius) and the California Roll sushi. Our last dish we shared was the Black Angus Ribeye. So glad we shared these dishes! Oh and we got dessert (Yuzu Citrus-light, refreshing).

Great ambience, service and upscale presentation. The Chef has created some fabulous and unique dishes and rolls. The Protein roll was outstanding and the TUNA PIZZA with truffle oil is a MUST. Bravo !!!

I ate here one evening and had a great meal. The patron peppers were absolutely delicious and the sushi rolls were great. Waitress was super friendly too and I had a greta table on the edge for people watching. The restaurant was busy and buzzing.

This our first visit here. The sushi and steak were very delicious. Nice view of the fountains from our table. We had a quiet booth on the side of the room. Decor was understated and refined. A bit pricey. Items were served when ready...a bit of a strange ordering.

My husband and I had the set menu with the sake pairing and the food was absolutely incredible. There was also SO much of it, we were definitely happily stuffed afterwards. We hadn’t had sake before and weren’t fans but had fun tasting them. Our server was very friendly and all the dishes were explained thoroughly. Really beautiful atmosphere next to the Bellagio fountains, and dress code was more lax than I thought it would be. Will definitely visit again!

Japanese options are perhaps a bit limited in Vegas, but honestly I would just recommend going to Benihana over this. It wasn't that great... First we had to wait 15 minutes for our table despite having had a reservation. Staff at the front of the restaurant were not very welcoming, and same for the server at our table. He didn't even say hello, which I am so used to in America the waiters introducing themselves and being so friendly! Of course because it's in the Bellagio, the ambience feels very premium and it has nice views of the water, but also because it's in the Bellagio it's so expensive and the food is not even that good !!! I am disappointed because I love the Bellagio's vibe but unfortunately this was not it. The tuna and squid sushi were not great. Tuna was bland and squid was chewy. Octopus carpaccio was delicious but had uneven toppings. The california roll and the scallion rolls are for sure the best value for money and actually delicious! The aubergine was also delicious, but definitely overpriced. Overall, I don't feel like we got the service you would expect at this price point. And food wise, I feel extra grateful to have grown up with a Japanese mum to cook me such incredible Japanese food and also live in London which has MUCH better Japanese for much better value.

They asked if we’d like a table on the patio, and what we got was basically a private balcony for two with a perfect view overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Apparently if it is windy it can get wet so keep that in mind. The food, we mainly had sushi, and service were wonderful too. The apple egg roll crisp desert was really good.

Loved the menu and the setting from the website and wasn’t disappointed. Staff were very good and got us an outside balcony front row fountain view which was unbelievable to see whilst we drank and ate. The sushi and food we had was amazing and we ordered more as a result. Cocktails were superb too. It can get a little hot outside (which is typical in vegas at certain times of the year!) - maybe some fans etc would help outside to help cool guests but didn’t ruin our experience.

Last night (21 Jan), it was chaos trying to check in to the restaurant and with no queuing system in place. Once there, there was a 45-minute delay to our confirmed booking - but no apology. The bar was busy with people eating so difficult to order a drink. When we did eventually get a table, we were told 45-60 minute food delay! We had to rush our food due to a theatre commitment which was very disappointing. The food was great but the delays and lack of staff apology was a real shame.

Perfect dinner after the “O” show! Reservations make life so much easier in Vegas, seriously, if you can make a reservation, save yourself the drama and make it. We were seated immediately, the food was wonderful, sushi was on point, and honestly it’s a tough call between the entrees. The salmon was perfect, ribeye flavorful and so tender but then the short ribs, hello lover! So good, melt in your mouth! Add a side of rice and those kimchi Brussels sprouts they are known for and it’s the perfect combination. I e got to figure out how to make those at home!

We were excited to eat here because of the great reviews, and the fact that the patio overlooks the Bellagio fountains. We were happy to be seated on the patio with a heater - fantastic. We ordered gyoza - with tomato sauce for dipping?? We love gyoza, and order it wherever they have it. I have never seen it served with tomato sauce and there is a reason for this, it doesn’t go well together. A standard soy/ginger sauce would’ve been much preferred. Next, we had the rock shrimp. Basically, mildly spicy popcorn shrimp - tasty, but very deep fried (not healthy at all), which I was not expecting. Lastly, I ordered the baked crab rolls. When they came, they tasted “fishy”. They/crab should not taste fishy at all?! After having only one, I told the server that they tasted fishy, and I was not going to finish them, so he took them away. I ordered fresh California rolls instead, very good. When the bill came, they had left the baked crab rolls on there. I was expecting them to remove them from the bill, but no. A great location, and some good dishes, but I would not return. I prefer to frequent restaurants who value their customers’ satisfaction, and provide good service recovery.

Was really excited to try sushi as it is one of my favorites but the quality of fish here is not commensurate with the prices charged. We tried a tasting menu and hate to say that everything offered was basically ok, nothing more and nothing less. There are so many better Japanese offerings out there, this cannot be recommended.

Romantic setting, subdued lighting and spacious……limited outdoor seating on a small balcony overlooking the spectacular water fountain show….we sat inside adjacent to a large window…we sat outside twice before…..sushi selection is good but quite expensive….a 2 piece order of Uni is $27…we had 5 along with salmon carpaccio, salmon sashimi……this was Mae’s second birthday dinner as we were disappointed with the first eaten earlier at our Aria hotel….they were told of Mae’s bday yet didn’t acknowledge it….here at Yellowtail they gave us both the choice of complimentary desserts and a lit candle…..so…..if you like sushi in a romantic setting with a spectacular view and don’t mind the cost then this restaurant is a must

Our experience was ok . Sat at bar, no reservations. the bartender hit us a few times with whatever splatter of drink he was making. the food took a long time to come out. but they were nice.

This restaurant is beautiful and I highly recommend the outdoor seating if you're dining after 8. My spouse and I had a wonderful view. It is quieter than the interior and more intimate. The tasting courses is the best value here, you get the most out of the experience. The only downside was the reception area. For such an acclaimed dining experience, you would think the hostesses would dress accordingly. In true Vegas, it was mini dresses and fully exposed silicone cleavage. Just trashy for such a nice place. Again, it's Vegas and the tips rank higher when skin is exposed, so it's not a huge deal. Don't let the first expression at the host booth deter you though, food is amazing!

We recently celebrated our engagement night at Yellowtail, and it was nothing short of perfect! A huge thank you to the assistant general manager Matt Cowart, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. Matt was incredibly accommodating, attentive to every detail, and made sure the night was memorable in every way. His kindness and dedication left a lasting impression that we will cherish for a lifetime. The entire staff at Yellowtail provided excellent service, making us feel truly special on our big night. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help make the occasion so magical. If you’re planning any special event or even just a great dining experience, I highly recommend Yellowtail. Thank you, Matt and the amazing staff, for making our night unforgettable!

We enjoyed the bar/food table service. I would recommend the spicy shrimp with pop rocks. My only complaint is the host (gentlemen on shift on 9/12/24) after 5pm. Extremely rude especially when they weren’t busy yet. Restaurant is of course pricey.

We had a memorable dinner experience at Yellowtail in the beginning of december 2019! For our wedding dinner we had booked another restaurant at Bellagio but unfortunately the establishment was closed! The yellowtail manager helped us out, was extremely kind to prepare a table for a party 12 in a short time and served us a variety of amazing fish and meat dishes from different traditions. This is not “just a sushi restaurant”, be ready for a culinary journey! To our surprise one plate was better than the other from starter to dessert! I will be forever thankful to Yellowtail to have “saved” our wedding dinner ! Thank you David !

My husband and I have been to Yellowtail twice. We first visited in January 2020 and had such a lovely time with excellent food and views. When it came to planning our wedding, we were insistent that our wedding dinner be at Yellowtail. We had secured a reservation on the patio (my personal recommendation) for all 16 guests and had the most delightful dinner. The patio is shaded in the evening (sun sets behind the Bellagio) and remained cool even during a hot day. During our earlier visit in January 2020, we were also seated on the patio with ample heaters present. The food is spectacular! Both occurrences blew me away with the meal we were presented. The alcohol menu is also vast with an array of saki, wine, and cocktails (Lychee martini is a personal favorite) to offer. Service is prompt but not overly intrusive, which I always appreciate. This restaurant has the best views of the strip in my opinion. I can't wait for our return visit!

We saw a tv show mentioning the tempura crab. We got that and two more items to share, Our server couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was amazing, Great view of the fountains.

We celebrated my birthday here this evening. Restaurant has a nice ambiance- a little loud, but lower light with views of the Bellagio fountains if you are near the windows. Service was average. We had the Yellowtail Jalapeño which was amazing! Ordered it twice because we loved it so much! We had the edamame, miso soup, some salmon tuna nigiri & a crunchy crab roll. That was tasty but hard to eat(messy). They presented me with a fun birthday dessert at the end of the meal. Overall a great dinner.

Yellow tail? I got the vegetable fried... And shrimp.... Average ticket is around 50 a person See pictures attached of menue and pictures of food

We chose to dine at Yellowtail for a family outing, as my relatives had previously visited and raved about their experiences. A tip for anyone planning to go: make a reservation in advance! Even with a reservation, we found ourselves waiting over 20 minutes past our scheduled time. Once seated, we ended up in the far-left corner near the bar, which came with its own set of challenges due to a large obstruction in our view. However, the silver lining was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening. Now, onto the food: while some dishes were delightful, others fell a bit flat. The gyoza, cucumber salad, and sushi were somewhat average; there was nothing particularly memorable about their taste or portions, which I believe could use some improvement. On the other hand, the tempura lobster, halibut, and kalbi roll were standout dishes that truly wowed us with their unique flavors and perfect execution. Overall, Yellowtail has a lot to offer, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain areas. I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future!

We started out by having a drink at the bar as we were waiting for our table. The bartender was fabulous and so were our drinks. Once we were seated, we had a view of the Bellagio Fountains, it was lovely. We decided to share our plates, we had the Tempura Alaskan King Crab which was divine! It blew me away! We also had the Crispy Tofu, the Tempura Vegetables and Shrimp and I think we had the scallops.....I cannot remember because my Kirin Light beer was so big that I started to forget things before the meal was over....I do remember that everything was absolutely delicious. The funny thing is that the server we had a year ago remembered us! She even remembered where we were seated in the restaurant a year ago....amazing memory and an amazing staff at Yellowtail! See you next year!

Our waiter (forgot his name) truly enjoyed his job and made some great recommendations- The lobster tempura & filet mignon toban were off the charts good! The mile high roll was also good. The popping spicy crab roll (pop rocks candy inside) was ok but probably wouldn’t get it again. Slightly disappointed in The tuna flatbread - It is much smaller than it used to be in years past. But that won’t stop me from coming back next time I’m in town!

I find it kind of tough to write this review because i just can’t put just how good this food is into words. I dined here two nights in a row and had 8 different dishes, every single dish was so well done and very tasty. I have eaten at some very highly rated restaurants , for me this is simply the best. Wait staff was in tune to the timing and needs of us. Guys just go , do not pass up the chance to see for yourself. Ask for Yukiko.

My brother and I decided to spend our last night in Vegas at Yellowtail and it didn't disappoint. If you're fortunate, you can score a table on the balcony or near the windows so that you can view the nightly Bellagio fountain show. This restaurant made the best Tanqueray and tonic that I had on the entire trip; and it was served in a very comfortable and sophisticated rocks glass. I ordered two but could have easily had two more as they were that good. My brother focused on sushi and sashimi items while I enjoyed the ribeye and some other seafood. He said his yellowtail sashimi was excellent. I enjoyed my California roll and he and I shared the rock shrimp which I heartily recommend. We also shared the Alaskan King Crab warm sharable dish and that was good; but I thought the rock shrimp was the more outstanding of the two. We splurged and ordered a lot of food so the bill was a bit sobering when it came but that was on us as opposed to the prices being outrageous. In fact, I thought the prices were very much aligned with every other facility in Vegas. I also had the chocolate in a cup for dessert and my one complaint is that it wasn't bigger because it was quite tasty. Service was pretty good and he seemed a bit disinterested in us when we first sat down but then pepped up when we started ordering items with ferocity (we had a lot of questions at first). Biggest complaint, however, is that the music selection is very loud (and honesty, quite annoying) jazz. It seemed out of sorts considering the nature of the restaurant and the selections were played about 30% louder than necessary and were repetitive. At first you don't care and then it begins to drain on you. Management, please mix the music up or play it at a lower volume. I would recommend Yellowtail and I would certainly return again on a future visit.

2nd visit this trip. So amazing. The Vegan Omakase created by Chef Jesse was just spectacular. Our server, whose name I do not recall, was knowledge, fun and super friendly -- She was great and flexible with some of our weird requests -- like Champagne Floats. Can't wait to come back again!!!!!

Came back here after 3 days because had to get that food again. Best Japanese food ever! Service was great, especially Sergio. Knew how everything was made and gave tips on how to make something I fail at everytime I try. Thank you Sergio!

My friend recommended we went to this restaurant in the Bellagio Hotel. We sat at the bar and ordered food as we didn't make a reservation. I had the Edamame with chili sauce which was amazing, much nicer than Wagamamas! I then had the grilled halibut which was divine, probably the tastiest fish and sauce I have ever eaten. Why not 5 stars then you ask? The barman/waiter was grumpy, not really service with a smile and then moaned when we wanted the bill splitting.

I actually ventured down to Prime steakhouse to watch the Laker game at the bar but there was no space there so I came up to yellowtail since the game was on there. I had some sushi sashimi that was excellent. Fresh and delicious, the Japanese old fashioned was excellent as well. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. The kimchi Brussels sprouts were also a nice touch as a side. I can only imagine how good the steak house was.

One of the best restaurants i have been. The food is superb. A lot of different combinations that one will never think of. The freshness of fish is so high that you can actually feel the crispiness when you bite. The staff is much better than in any Bellagio restaurants.

Sushi is above average, service is above average, location above average - get the idea? I would go there again as it was good sushi but I would probably try elsewhere as I am sure there are better sushi places in Las Vegas. As expected, everything is pricey with our bill at $350 for two of us.

We had a very enjoyable meal with views of the Bellagio fountains. The service was good, as was the food.

Best and freshest sushi and sashimi in Vegas - Service was impeccable had a view of the fountains from the table. Saki pairing was perfect. Great way to celebrate a birthday.

expensive place like everything at Bellagio in Vegas. Beware of the Popping spicy crab: it is a roll with asparagus, crab and .... sugar. Let's say that the combination is fun because it crackles in the mouth but it is not the maximum taste. Let's say an Americana... They should have written or explained that there was sugar. If you have an open mind you can order it otherwise leave it alone. Professional service

This is a Japanese restaurant with an atmosphere similar to that of a sushi bar overseas. Casual attire is fine. We ordered fatty tuna caviar, deep-fried tofu, edamame, and sushi. It was pretty tasty, so I would recommend it to Japanese people too.

The food was amazing. Mostly ordered sushi but everything was wonderful. Tuna Pizza (flatbread) was a hit at the table but everything was amazing.

Yellowtail is inside the Bellagio hotel and has great food. We ordered the mushrooms which were amazing. We also ordered Kimchi Brussels Sprouts, Filet Steak,Garlic Chicken and California Rolls and all were above average. The space was quaint and had easy access to the fountain show. I would recommend this restaurant especially if staying at this hotel.

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent waitstaff. I especially appreciate when the first question is about alleges and food not eaten. The waiter went and checked specific question. The food was divinely delicious and even though I have eaten black cod, salmon skin rolls, cucumber salad etc this was a special meal. This is an expensive meal but worth the money.

Our favourite restaurant of the trip. The food was gorgeous. The service was impeccable. The view of the fountains topped it off.

We had a 9:30 pm reservation set for after seeing Mystere at TI. We arrived and requested to sit on the patio. We were told there would be an additional wait of approximately 30 minutes, which we opted to do. We were SO glad we waited the extra time for that table. This was easily one of the most memorable dining experience we have ever had. The patio was small with only about six tables total, which made it quiet and intimate. We were literally right in front of the Bellagio fountains (you could not possibly get any closer!). Even if the food had been bad, I would still have to rate this highly based on the table location/experience alone. Fortunately, however, the food was not bad, it was delicious! We ordered a bunch of things to share, which is perfect for this type of restaurant. Everything was very good, but the highlights for us were the Mile High (sushi) roll and the Tuna Pizza. The Tuna Pizza was the hands down favorite. The service was also very good and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and highly recommend waiting for a patio table if the weather suits!

This was my 5th time to Yellowtail as I am often in town for conferences, etc. This trip was with friends on my recommendation and wow, has this restaurant establishment and service team taken a huge step backwards. Granted, the food was good (that is pretty much a standard for every nice restaurant in Vegas) but poor, disorganized service can make good food...bad. Needless to say, I would recommend other sushi options to save an hour and a half of your life subjected to a disorganized kitchen, inconsistent food delivery and substandard service. D-.

Excellent restaurant in the Bellagio with great fountain views. Food was unique and creative. We had the tuna tetakki, a sushi roll, and the filet mignon. All shareable and all outstanding

Staff was nice and ambiance was fine but sushi was incredibly disappointing. Salmon and tuna mediocre at best and the toro was practically inedible. It was tough and chewy and not at all the quality that should be serviced for toro. We have had much better sushi for much less money. We would have been disappointed if the prices had been lower. So bad I had to leave a review. Enjoyed a lovely dinner the next evening at Picasso.

Good variety on menu with something for everyone. Lounge looks out into byway if hotel. Sushi good, drinks good, apps good

While we enjoyed our drinks at the bar and we found the food to be very good for what we had but not a good value. They have sharable plates on the menu and we decided to share the halibut, which was very flavorful and presented well, but was maybe 2-3 ounces for over $30. Barely enough for a bite for the both of us. We enjoyed other restaurants with much better value.

I wasn’t looking forward to this restaurant that my friend picked but I’m so happy she picked it and I went! First of all, the service was above and beyond, (thank you Theo!)and you have a great view of the fountains out by the patio, and the food was so delicious! I had the Braised Wagyu Beef Short ribs with such amazing sauce, a lychee martini that was so good I ordered two, and the dessert was so amazing I forgot what it was called but it was like a bananas foster sauce with apple pie sort of thing! So good! My friend loved her yellowtail roll and her Mile High roll. We ordered the Kimchi Brussel Sprouts as well and they were just ok. I’d skip those…food was really good I can’t wait to be back next time I’m in town for a trade show!

Excellent food. All high quality products. High price, but consistent with the quality of service and food. Excellent choice of wines even if in whites there are only two types of Italian wines. Very fast and professional service. Recommendation if you want to have a high quality food experience. Thanks to all the staff. I will definitely return.

12 pieces Sashimi combo ($50 value) selection by Chef has 4 pieces of cooking fish, 2 pieces of steamed shrimps. What does Sashimi meaning to the Chef by the way? Also, We ordered 3 rolls. their quality was just like $5 rolls at my local restaurant. This is Vegas, this is Bellagio facilities . . what is it Chef? Luckily, The Lychee cocktail was great (my wife loved it). The service was almost perfect. The ambiance is so beautiful. Would we come back to the YellowTail Japanese Bar & Restaurant again? the answer will be faster than a heartbeat, No We won't. And maybe never!

If you only do 2 things in Las Vegas, sit outside overlooking the Bellagio fountain and order the tasting menu. Our waiter Emmanuel was phenomenal and explained every dish, but honestly I couldn’t tell you everything we ate. Some dishes were hot, some were cold, but all were outstanding. We will 100% be back.

On my last trip to Vegas, I was fortunate to enjoy a meal at twilight outdoors on the patio overlooking the Fountains of Bellagio with my family before attending a performance of Cirque du Soleil's O. This is a perfect place to eat if a fountain view is important for you; the patio affords a terrific view (close enough to feel the mist if the wind is blowing your way), and the average length of a dinner will let you enjoy several fountain shows. I can't speak to the temperatures in the summer, but in September (when I visited) it was extremely pleasant outside, with the lake providing a welcome cool and moist feel to the otherwise dry desert air. Being on this side of the lake feels different than watching from the street; it's much quieter and calmer, and it somehow feels closer to the fountain (there were also several moments where the lights on the Paris Eiffel Tower coincidentally seemed to synchronize with the fountain displays). Everything we ordered was excellent; we particularly enjoyed the crispy tofu, jidori chicken, and the Scottish salmon with orange lemon miso. The salmon was especially memorable thanks to the excellent preparation and sauce; I haven't had anything quite like that before. My father, who is a vegetarian, was able to find several good options on the menu and our server was quick to point out all the suitable dishes. I am eager to return and try some of the sushi options. Service was friendly and attentive and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal while also ensuring we'd have more than enough time to prepare for our show later. Prices are high, but when considering the location, ambiance of the fountain/lake view, and exceptional quality of the food, they are well worth it. Among many great meals on the Strip, this was one of my favorites. The dinner and views of the fountain made our evening and perfectly set the stage for the O performance. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend Yellowtail to anyone seeking a great meal with one of the best views in Las Vegas.

Gréât sushi on thé waterfront at the Bellagio Hotel. Loved the tuna pizza and the protein roll😊. Also the spicy miso soup was the bomb. Our waitress Mithka was awesome.

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Vegas and I've been there a lot. Patio dining on a date night is exceptional. Views are some of the best I've seen in Vegas and its not even a roof top restaurant. Food was outstanding with great service. 5 stars and highly recommended. Haven't tried Spago and some of the other high end restaurants in the Bellagio but this would be tough to beat.

Expect to spend some money here but the food is amazing. It’s a fancy restaurant at the Bellagio, so I’m not sure why everyone complains about the price here. Could you get a better value off the strip? Probably, but you are sitting in a restaurant with views of the Bellagio fountain. Our service was great, fast but not at all rushed. The music is a bit loud and clubby for the type of place it is but I guess that’s the vibe they want. I recommend the tempura crab legs and ask for the mile high roll.

It's been a long time dream to dine overlooking the Bellagio fountains so expectations were high! Everything was perfect, the food we ordered was all delicious and we were delighted with our experience. The greeters were lovely and friendly and a really big thank you to our server Mythka (sp?), who was fantastic.

How this place has only has a 4.0 rating is beyond me. The Sushi is amazing! The steak, lobster are insanely good as too! The Akira Back Tuna Pizza is a flavor unmatched by anything I’ve ever had, it is the food I look forward to eating every single time I visit Vegas no matter what. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Las Vegas even if you don’t like sushi, they have so much more to offer.

I’ve dined at Yellowtail a few times years ago but it has gone downhill a little. Service lacked (they didn’t deliver our miso soup until the end of the meal and only after o had to remind the waiter. The ahi pizza was as good as I remember but some of the rolls fell flat. Next time we’ll try Nobu or even Sushi Roku.

The food was over the top and the waitress was exceptional. She made the best recommendations for our meal. Her personality and her smile made all the difference to our experience. Her name is Chanez. Ask for her!

Made a reservation for a dinner on a Saturday night to celebrate my sister’s birthday. It was her first time here, and she had an excellent experience. The tables were spaced adequately so we didn’t feel unsafe. The staff and other customers (when walking around) were wearing their masks as required. The main dining area has a great view of the fountain and the Paris Eiffel Tower. Our server was attentive and friendly. She even introduced a chef, named Alex, who took his time to ask my sister about her likes and dislikes and he made sure her food was amazing despite her mild allergies to some ingredients. We didn’t tell anybody we were celebrating my sister’s birthday yet everyone treated us very special. The manager stopped by our table several times to check up on us. He made some great drinks suggestions that my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t thank them enough for an amazing experience! We had: Cocktails: lychee, infusion, dragon heart, spicy avocado — all are very good. Food: tuna pizza (so good we ordered twice) Yellowtail jalapeño Assorted sashimi - all were very fresh and tasted amazing Popping spicy crab Crispy tofu Filet mignon toban Black cod Everything was really good! Highly recommend. For dessert we had the chocolate in a cup! Worth all the calories! Will definitely return! A must at bell

Every dish we had was wonderful. We had a reservation on July 4,which was a good thing. We were seated promptly, and started with some cocktails that were really good. Then we decided to share some plates.Had the tuna pizza with truffle oil, which was melt in your mouth yummy. Then this amazing salad, Tataki Salad-Yellowtail,tuna,and salmon.SO fresh, and delicious. We both got rolls, me a Shrimp Tempura roll, and hubby had Spicy Tuna, which he said was one of the best he's eaten. This is a great restaurant, service, food and atmosphere.Cant wait to go again

Pricey, but what isn't in LV. Sashimi was fresh and flavorful, service great. I clean them out of Cho-Toro... Nice sake selection.

First class sushi place. Hostess was inviting and or waiter (Teo?) was warm, friendly and helpful with suggestions. Rolls are a good size and tasted great. Really enjoyed the cocktail menu and had a great view of the fountains.

So spacial tastes and very professional service . Recommend going there if possible , the cocktails were amazing too everything was great . 10 out of 10

The ambiance is fine and the view of the Bellagio is great; however, that is where the experience ends. The white wine spritzer tasted like soda water. The hamachi carpaccio was soaked in soy sauce. The tuna roll was tasteless, and the portions was miniscule. The service was adequate. Would not go back again!!!

We love visiting this restaurant and the gorgeous views and ambiance. The items are delicious and the menu is scaled down a bit during the pandemic. It is an outstanding spot, very cool vibe. Seems upscale and fashionable.

Went here for dinner the last night of our trip and weren’t disappointed. The gyoza and sushi were both mouth watering. Made a prior reservation with a table of 8 and had a perfect view of the Bellagio fountains.

We popped in prior to a restaurant booking elsewhere and asked if we could have a quick drink. Despite only serving drinks at the bar they kindly let us have a table at the edge of the casino floor just for drinks. Our server came over to bring us water and we didn’t see him again!! After sitting there for 15 minutes we left!!!

We have been here before and enjoyed it, but after dinner last night we wouldn’t go back. Food was rushed out at a speed of knots. Salmon carpaccio was oily and tasteless. We told two servers but neither cares at all. One said yes we have been told it’s oily, and the other smiled and asked if we wanted dessert. With so many amazing restaurants in Vegas it was a shame that we went here on my birthday

Yellowtail has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Even though on my last couple of trips before this one I ran into issues—on four straight occasions waiting anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour past my reservation time, and on the most recent visit before this current one the service wasn’t the best—the food has always been excellent. Because I’ve enjoyed it so much over the years, I kept giving it another try. I’m very glad I did, because this most recent visit was incredible. We were seated right away, the check-in staff was great—friendly, talkative, and welcoming—and everything felt smooth from the start. We were seated outside on the patio, there was a heat lamp, and the temperature was absolutely perfect. Our server was outstanding: very friendly, personable, and attentive without being overbearing. My wife has food allergies, and they worked around them perfectly this time, which made the experience even better and stress-free. The food was amazing—honestly the best I think I’ve ever had here. Every dish was spot-on, and the entire experience reminded me why this place became a favorite in the first place. After skipping Yellowtail on a few recent trips, this visit completely turned things around. I will 100% be back again on my next trip to Vegas.

Great view, amazing service and delectable menu. We were here to celebrate a birthday and it exceeded our expectations. If you are prepared for the high end prices, you will thoroughly enjoy this experience from start to finish.

We made reservations right at 5, when they open, and were seated almost immediately. We were in a roomy booth by the window with a view of the Bellagio fountain (for the left side and middle people of the booth) and could see almost the entire restaurant. This place gets busy quickly so I would make reservations early. We ordered the Sunset and the Spicy Avocado drinks and these were very good and pretty. We got the rock shrimp- they said it has a spicy sauce but we got only a smidgen of spice- very good and large enough portion for three people to eat a good portion each. The filet mignon toban was the best filet I’ve had in a long time. It comes out on a steaming plate, like fajitas do, and the waiter poured a sauce over it. It also comes with little mushrooms. We also got the beef short ribs and these were very good, too. I got the tempura shrimp roll and while it’s a little smaller than what I get at home, it was still great. This place is amazing! Definitely highly recommend. They only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the high pricing.

Ordered 4 dishes to share; the unagi sushi and the tofu dish were excellent; for the tempura dish, the vegetables were good but the shrimp was small and the breading was not great, making the shrimp very soggy. For the tataki salad, expected the fish accompanying the salad to be sashimi style (raw) but two of the three selections were cooked; plus should have asked for the dressing to be on the side as the salad was drenched with the dressing. Plus the music being played was loud and not soothing for dinner; very difficult to have a quiet conversation at that noise level. Expected better especially for the restaurant being on the Strip and the price of the dishes.

My boyfriend & I were in Las Vegas for a week in October. We love sushi but didn’t want to do the standard chains like Nobu or Sushi Samba. I’d googled Yellowtail and honestly didn’t know what to expect, I hoped given it was in the Bellagio it would be good, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. As soon as we arrived we were seated in the beautiful, yet minimalistic restaurant with beautiful views of the fountains. Our servers, Michel (I hope I spelt your name right) was on hand constantly, he wasn’t too pushy (as some are in the US), but came across friendly and genuine, he didn’t rush us and happily engaged in general conversation. We ordered what we thought was a good selection, along with Michel’s guidance and we weren’t disappointed. He also ordered us some amazing espresso martinis that were out of this world, as well as some superb old fashioned and amaretto sours. After a few course we asked him for some recommendations on some additional dishes and he recommended the Angry Yellowtail, it was one of the most beautiful sashimi dishes I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of sashimi! Michel was pinnacle to our experience, but a big shoutout to the chefs and their exquisite way of putting together so many amazing flavours. Michel also went out of his way to take pictures of us on the outside balcony with the fountains in the background which was really appreciated. My only complaint would be is we didn’t have the opportunity to visit again, but given Akira Back has a restaurant in Dubai, I’m looking forward to visiting there in February 2023. If you love sushi on another level, and appreciate good quality service please book in advance, this place is not to be missed!

I never write reviews so take it for what it is. We ended up at Yellowtail because they had openings for 11. That should have been a red flag. Entrees was overpriced for what we received, or for what I received. Once completing our meal we damn near had to tackle someone to pay and leave. This place was the worst experience I had in Vegas.

We visited Yellowtail for my 50th birthday. I thought the views were great as well as the food. My only negative was that the portion sizes were a little small for the price.
Solid sushi at the Bellagio
Inventive, non-traditional sushi. Come for the tuna pizza with truffle oil, the baked crab hand roll, and the short rib kalbi roll. Traditional rolls are also solid, as is the nigiri and sashimi. The house salad is peppery and good. Cocktails are fine but could be improved. The Bellagio goi tai s provide a good backdrop for those unfamiliar with them.
