This restaurant is a joy to visit and have done so every time I visit from Australia. The staff always remember who I am and are happy to chat to discover where I have been between visits. The food is always delicious, served with a smile and time to chat. Special place to visit.

During a visit to family in the area, at their recommendation we stopped in for a late breakfast one morning. Youngs is a cozy sit-down restaurant a block or two north of the White Center central business district, but worth every step. Clearly a family operation, it shows in the service and the cooking. It was enjoyable bantering with the waitress (also family) and the food was prepared to perfection. Can't give a review for other meals of the day but our breakfast was a standout!

There isn't a better example of a "mom & pop" or "family-owned" business than Young's. Mom and Dad run the kitchen, while the daughters take care of the rest. Oh, and did I mention that I absolutely love Janice?! When she's not around, it's awfully quiet though... The minute a new customer steps foot in the restaurant, this quick-witted daughter introduces herself and asks their name. If they come back a week or a year later, she will STILL remember their name! Janice has such a killer facial recognition gift. Anywho, I digress... The entire family is extremely hard working. After all, it has been in the same spot of White Center since 1982 for a reason! I think that is due to two reasons: 1) The family dynamic with killer customer service and 2) their greasy spoon, traditional food. There's something for everyone to love on the menu since it's a combination of both classic breakfast items and Chinese food available at all hours they're open. If you want an omelet, chicken and waffles, egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, or a burger for breakfast or lunch, you can get it! No judging--well possibly some sass from Janice. I always turn to their Touchdown Omelet full of bacon, ham, sausage, vegetables and sour cream that is made into a football bigger than my head and stomach combined! The best part is I always have leftovers! Young's is truly a White Center classic favorite for diner food, fabulous customer service and the best hangover food around. Note: Keep in mind that they're closed on Mondays and close fairly early at 4 PM daily, except for 3 PM on Sundays. Just get your Chinese grub on early by ordering take out.

Best place on the westside for breakfast. This is family run and they give you 150% of attention. Better get there early on Sunday mornings since they will fill up fast. Even the police eat here. One thing however...they do not give you a check. Instead they pull it once you go up to pay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food that we ordered. It was very authentic and delicious and plentiful. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

My family has been eating here since the late 1980’s. It’s a family owned restaurant. Janice knows everyone’s name and has a great sense of humor! If you’re lucky, you might see her wear a flaming hat, sing Happy Birthday off-key, and blow a kazoo if it’s your birthday. The family patriarch cooks in the kitchen and he means business. I’ve never had a bad meal here! I have moved away, but I do not come home for a visit without having breakfast at Young’s! Street parking only, and closed Mondays.

This is probably the best breakfast place in town. Family owned and operated and I always enjoy eating there and catching up with the waitresses which are all sisters. The food is freshand hot and tastes great! Great food, good amptmoshere and food is served quikly.

A simple family run dinner with terrific home style food. Service staff was very friendly and efficient. Clearly has a strong local following with a constant stream of patrons.
