The food is ok. The service has quality issues. They seem to be pushing anti older protocols. I have a sight issue and it was used to be abusive at me. Allen, the man in charge said this is our system.. To my older friends and those who love them//// GO elsewhere,,

I was seated and served very efficiently, at the counter, as a single diner. The "happy hour" tuna tostadas were delicious! I also enjoyed the Asian pear and goat cheese salad. I would love to return and try more of the menu someday.

We enjoyed Zenshin 3 times while in Las Vegas. We had 2 dinners and one happy hour. We loved the Spider Roll and other sushi. I have a mussel allergy and they were very careful about it. Great service too!

Really grateful that casino restaurants seem to be non-smoking. The simple meals we ordered were tasty and filling. Service was good, and the ambience pleasantly reflective of the cuisine.

We eat there every time we stay at South Point. They have a great happy hour and The Martinis are great. The staff is always friendly and professional. I had the sampler platter nice choices to choose from.

My wife and I enjoyed a lunch of a California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Crunchy Roll, which were all fresh and tasty. The meal was a bargain. Service was reasonably prompt. Atmosphere was reasonably quiet -- especially considering the location in a casino.

The sushi is not the best...the restaurant has no atmosphere at all. The employees are all somewhat bored. Pricey.

I ordered Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. It was huge and was very good. We also ordered Zenshin Punch in fish bowl. It was also very good. This I shared with another person. I would not recommend drinking one by yourself. Very strong and large.

Situated in the casino this is one of a number of restaurants. Staff were very attentive. Huge menu. We chose a main between four for a starter. Delicious. Main courses were very big. Probably 3 between 4 would have been plenty. Great experience. Would definitely dine here again.

Food and services are fine. But hostess is different from the other restaurants. She did not initiate greeting customers.

Incredible meal. Visited South Point for some time away from the strip and glad we did. Came on a Saturday lunchtime, thanksgiving weekend. Very quiet, attentive service. Chose from happy hour and main menus, we had garlic chicken, garlic fries, pork bao buns and vegetable stir-fry noodles. Everything was excellent, came to $60 plus tip. Best meal we've had in town so far

Wonderful restaurant. Met the manager and server. Excellent food we tried 2 sushi rolls, sashimi, braised short ribs and pork Belly dish. Just wow. The service was excellent from the manager down to the busboy.

Restaurant ambience was nice. Food was typical of a Japanese restaurant. Service was good. I’m saying it’s okay because nothing really stood out. I had the tempura udon soup and hubby had the oxtail soup.

The Sushi chefs and wait staff were fantastic. The sushi (Had real fish with some rolls, but mostly nigiri) and it was super fresh, well presented, and extremely tasty. A very good value for your money, made with care. My wife had the teriyaki bowl and she loved it. It was a LOT of food for her.

Tired of the bar food and hot dogs on the strip, get a teriyaki chicken bowl at Zenshin. Located at South Point- 7 miles south of Mandalay Bay, super friendly staff, great happy hour daily 2-6 pm with fantastic specials, and a great selection of saki and cocktails. Sit at the sushi bar or enjoy their family dining room (13 people) The food was delish...tender, savory and good portion. $11.00 for a teriyaki bowl and the staff couldn't have been any nicer.

We're glad we had a coupon! Sushi was really fresh and tasty, but quite pricey. $110 for 2 adults and 1 kid. A nice treat though.

We have gambled at Southpoint but never eaten there. I am so glad we decided to try this restaurant! We had the pear & goat cheese salad, fried rice and the deluxe sushi sampler plate. They were all delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!!

Tried some new flavors at the sushi happy hour 9pm. Happy Hour has varying times, so check their website.

My husband and I popped in for lunch one day. I ordered a bento box and he ordered a soft shell crab sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

It's was a great experience I fell in love with the lemon bars i like how they introduce people coming into the restaurant. Also great to have other options for people who are plant-based eaters Our server was awesome very pleasant very attentive love her Nayoko sorry if I'm spelling it wrong Thank May 2025 South Pointe

This restaurant is located in the South Point Resort and Casino. It has very good food and excellent service at pretty reasonable prices, especially at the daily 2-6 happy hour, where they have a selection of $5 plates for tasting. Nice atmosphere.

The happy hour specials were the bomb. We had the 777 and Spicy Tuna Roll with our cocktails, your place was busy but the service was prompt and your staff were very nice. Friendly customers in a cheerful mood due to March Madness and St Patty's day celebrations added to our experience there at Zen.

This was my first visit and will not be my last, the Zenshin has great Asian cuisine and the hostess was very friendly and helpful and explained the menu very well. I had the Lucky Roll and it was delicious and the food was very fresh!

Excellent vegan options! The Garden Isle roll was out of this world! It was so fresh and crunchy! The stir-fried noodles were delicious! Bring an extra stomach because the portions are extra large. I had a delightful meal here! One of the best in my trip!

We were first going to eat at the buffet but 4 people dinner was $112. 2 adults and 2 kids we felt was a bit munch specially since it was seafood dinner night. We decided to try this place out. Food was great and what topped it off was the great customer service. Staff was very attentive, and polite. That goes a long way in my book. A bit pricey but with great customer service makes it all worth it

My daughter loved their california rolls. Had them late night for dinner 2xs. Family ate lunch there. Little slow on service but food was good. Got the Bento box and enjoyed it. Sodas are expensive everywhere here. Might as well get a grown up drink!

Just okay. Would not go back. Pricey, small quantities on appetizers. Waiter overcharged on Happy Hour beer. Spent over 10 minutes for him to fix the bill. Then he just took it off and said sorry. We weren't looking for free just correct. So he got no tip.

I had the Bento Box but my friends enjoyed various sushi rolls. We were all extremely please with the food and service. Plus the brownie with coffee ice cream was amazing!

Seriously 2pm to 6pm happy hour and I cannot tell you how awesome and cheap it was. Four appetizers, three drinks and it was around $45 dollars. It was amazing I was impressed with the staffs friendly attitude and quick service. The “Tokyo mule” was a delish concoction I will attempt to recreate. They had fried oysters which were good, amazing lettuce wraps and the edamame in the garlic chili sauce was the best thing on this planet. They are fantastic give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

One of the seven nights we spent at the South Point a large group of us went to this restaurant for dinner. They gave us a separate room to eat in and our own wait staff to provide service. Everything was top notch, including the food and service. We'd not hesitate to return here! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Fish was very fresh, tasty, and with nice presentation. Excellent service. Please enjoy delicious seafood.

The California roll and crunch roll were freshly made and tasted great! The portions were generous (8 pieces each) and the prices were reasonable. They offer a happy hour with discounted sushi too. The service is good and attentive. I highly recommend.

This Asian restaurant is located in the South Point Hotel. Like many hotel restaurants, it seems to have turned into a mill for tourists that visit this hotel in Las Vegas for conventions, bowling tournaments or equestrian events, among others. The sushi, sashimi and other dishes are run-of-the-mill. The food quality seems good, but dishes are not great. The Ebi Tempura comes mixed with vegetables and only has two small shrimps... Disappointing! The service es terrible. Absolutely no concern for the patrons sitting at the table. After eternal waits, food trickles in. Then, the server disappeared. In over an hour, no check on how the food turned out, refilling water or sodas, asking if anyone wanted more drinks, etc. After finishing, almost 30 minutes to request the check and pay. I don't blame the servers. Management has no clue on how to run a restaurant or simply just doesn't care.

Bowling schedule made for eating at odd times but went to Zenshin during happy hour. Sushi rolls were pretty good as were the lettuce rolls and garlic chicken. Would go back again as the regular menu was reasonably priced as well.

We were looking for sushi of the Strip and found this place. Our server recommended the Shogun and other rolls. They were delicious!

Visited the Zenshin restaurant in the South Point Casino for dinner. Found the food to be quite ordinary compared to other similar places in Las Vegas. Service was good and food was served promptly. It's not a place I would come back primarily because there a much better choices within a short distance of Zenshin.

We don't eat at too many casino restaurants because we know they are generally more expensive than non-casino joints. However, we found ourselves at South Point casino late last night and decided to try their happy hour menu. We were pleased with everything . . . shrimp ceviche, salmon cake, crunch roll, seaweed salad and a draft Sapporo to top it off. Each item was excellent and at the Happy Hour menu price you can't go wrong. We would even make the trip to eat specifically at Zen Shin without spending time in the casino.

Stopped in for a Happy Hour early dinner. Ordered our usual California Rolls, Crunch Rolls and Edamame. It’s was good. Service was great. You can sit at the bar, a booth or a table. Tables are nicely spaced for private conversation. Definitely be back.

Let’s start with the service. Very courteous and helpful. We couldn’t decide on a dish. Asked for their opinion and we were t disappointed. If you want to start with an appetizer, try the tacos. You won’t be disappointed.

We were looking for somewhere not on the main strip to have dinner and we read the reviews on Google and TripAdvisor and we were excited to try this place out. The service was quite poor - we had to ask for things like our drinks and extra ginger multiple times (and I never did get my drink). I heard the waiter having issues with another table too (though it could have been the back of the house that mixed up an order as well) If you're a sushi lover like us and have been to a lot of places, the sushi was not top-notch, especially for the price. The avocado wasn't fresh and was overused, and. some of their original rolls missed the mark with flavor balance.

This restaurant is inside the South Point casino. It caters to Asian cuisine but they have more choices in the Japanese side like sushi. Discounted prices during their happy hours. Excellent food! Try their halo halo (Shaved ice), for dessert.

My wife and I go frequently to South Point but have never eaten here before this most recent visit. I had the braised oxtail plate, wife had a combination of appetizers and sushi roll. Service was very, very professional. Very tight ship running in that place. I felt that my oxtail plate, while delicious, could use a little au jus over it. Overall it was a very good visit and encouraged us to return which we will for certain.

We visited during the daily extended happy hour that runs from 2PM to 6PM. My wife ordered a Blushing Jasmine (Grey Goose L'Orange, pama liqueur, cranberry juice, spritz of jasmine water and an eatable orchid as garnish). I chose the strawberry Bangkok (strawberry colada, Patron silver, Malibu coconut, fresh sweet & sour, muddled strawberries with a Thai hot pepper). We also ordered a vegetable pizza - a tasteless crust topped with eggplant, mushrooms, tomato, onion, goat cheese and tomato sauce that was undercooked. We will return for the drinks and take a pass on the pizza.

it was hard to find...at the back of the casino, but worth the walk. the food is very good and about the healthiest in the hotel.

We chose to try happy hour one night and the next we selected from the dinner menu and both times we were very pleased both times. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It is becoming my favorite place to eat. Prices were reasonable too.

Impeccable service. Will definitely will be back how ever the mojito is not a mojito. Avoid cocktails...

This is a friendly, great restaurant. We liked that it was quiet and had pleasant lighting. We ate there for the lunch specials three times. If you eat before 4pm you can have happy hour specials and good valued specials for 9.99 My husband enjoyed the waygu burger and I the crab burger and also the sushi was excellent. Staff were very good.

We returned for a very good dinner at Zenshin at Southpoint Casino. We had booth seating in the very nice dining room. Service was very good. For dinner, we had agadashi tofu, pork belly ((very good), and their deluxe sashimi plate which came with miso soup. All were very good. Their tempura banana split was nice size and great for dessert. The food is good and prices reasonable.

Even had a few creative choices. Friendly service. Clean. Reasonable prices. Ambiance was pleasing. Comfortable booths.

My Husband and I recently had dinner at this restaurant and all I can say in YUM! The service in the restaurant is up level staff are friendly and informative about the dishes. Manager can to our table to ensure that our experience was good. The food was fresh and delicious. I would love to come back to this restaurant on my next trip to Vegas. We loved the sushi and the rice bowls excellent.

The happy hour food was excellent especially the 777 roll. The prices have gone up a bit from what was listed online but still fairly reasonable. Service was very pleasant.

We have been here for a meal a number of times and the food and service are always excellent! The staff make excellent recommendations when we are not sure what to try. They also have a Happy Hour menu which is great for us since our internal clocks have not lined up with the local time.

We were there during the late night happy hour. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered an assortment of appetizers...and ordered more of the ones we especially liked. Each order and reorder was served very quickly. Can't wait to go back!

Restaurant is kind of pricey. Chose to try the food during happy hour. Was pleasantly surprised that all three of my food choices were very good. Please don't wait to go because they end happy hour on time. If you attempt to order at those prices after happy hour, you will be advised of happy hour cut off - even 2 minutes after!

I went during Happy hour and had a great server and the food was tasty and fresh. The sushi was average but the appetizers, drinks, and dessert was really good.

My beau and I had the plum wine flight which was phenomenal. The fish was fresh on our dragon roll and tempura the waitstaff was patient but could have taken a little more time to give suggestions on possible menu options. The plums in the wine were pickled and I am not 100 percent sure if that was favorable for the flavor on the wine.

Had a night out with my mother and husband last night, we decided on Zenshin, this was my second experience here, my first, I was not feeling well and asked the waiter his recommendation on something to ease my nausea, he suggested Miso Ramen or Udon noodles and hot tea, I chose Udon and it was so easy to stay down, he took the time to care that I did not feel well, you cant pay for that!!! Last night around 8:30pm again just awesome service, we sat at the bar and had an awesome waiter he even took the time to teach us about the different Sake. My mother was very impressed, thank you for making my mother smile!! I look forward to coming in again as well as telling everyone I know about the awesome service. Keep up the great job!

After a long day handicapping my sports bets for the evening, one gets hungry... Decided stopping by Zenshin during their happy hour in the early evening. Started with some warm saki, philadelphia roll, lettuce wraps, and grilled vegetables. and another saki. and maybe one more... but hey, why not! Will definitely return next time im in town and crave fresh Japanese food!

Stopped here with family to have dinner and we really enjoyed it. They have a gluten free menu with a good variety of options. I will definitely eat here again!

We're in Las Vegas for the annual Mecum Motorcycle Auction, and while staying at the South Point we usually find ourselves returning to Zenshin for one of our nightly dinner parties with friends. This year was no different. The food has been consistently good over the last five years we've tried it. We're very fond of the 5 pc. Shrimp Tempura ($13), Teriyaki Salmon ($26), Teriyaki Chicken Bowl ($15) and the Zenshin Bento Box meal ($17). All of these meals are fresh and well prepared exactly to our orders. Iced Tea ($3.95) and a couple of Sapporo Beers ($5) made for a very tasty dinner. Service was spot on and professional. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and look forward to returning next January.

Was staying at SouthPoint for a conference. Grabbed sushi here, and I was pleasantly surprised. Fresh sushi, great service by ANGEL. Overall, a very nice place to have dinner.

We were staying at the South Point Casino where Zenshin is located. I loved the food so much, I ate there 3 times! The sushi was so good - I got the Mexico roll (twice) and Tuna Fever. There are specials on appetizers different times during the day. I had the tuna poke tacos and fried oysters on separate occasions.

We are normally not Asian cuisine type of people, however, we do enjoy a California Roll now and then, and this was, by far, the BEST California roll we have ever had....stopped in for a quick snack and ended up staying an hour looking over the menu, etc.

Was there last night I think it was my third visit and it just keeps getting better and better great steaks last night fried rice great price points they don't inflate $ on alcohol and they have extended their happy hour menu from opening till close check it out great fun place excellent service

We were 2 couples staying at The Grandview Resort next to South Pointe. We had had enough of the strip so went to Zenshin for dinner. All the staff including our waiter were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and visually appealing. One of our group made a special request for her sushi and there was no problem with her request. She loved it. Prices were comparable to the strip. Maybe slightly better.

I ate hear the other night, everything was ok, nothing great. We shared 3 different types of rolls. Garlic shrimp and Philadelphia roll. The rolls did not stay together well when trying to eat, seemed reasonably fresh. The setting was ok, the service was decent. Food was served quickly.

Had a great dinner at Zenshin. Food was good. Staff was very friendly. Portion size was a bit small. Don't plan on sharing.

This place is inside southpoint hotel and casino in Las Vegas... food r good and fresh sushi. Bar in the middle and u can c how they make ur sushi. They have happy hour everyday, u just have to check what time start and end... happy hour price are perfect. We comes here atleast 2x a week. Food are fast so if I don’t have time this place is fast serving. Japanese food are served. I can check online for their menu.... hope this helps.

Great service. Came for light lunch. Ramen hit the spot. Very reasonably priced and good. Perfect for South Pointe guests craving convenient Asian fare without leaving hotel.

Love this place. Great sushi. They have happy hour 2 to6 with half price on sushi. Nice clean decor and great when you just need a light meal. Service is excellent always a go to place when we are out In Vegas

Great food, great service, great happy hour value. The family especially loves the restaurant-made soy sauce, for some reason. Located inside South Point.

There was as bit of a wait, despite the fact that we had a reservation, but the food and service was great. They were very attentive and eager to work with us on our special request for a to go meal and accommodating as well. The oxtail tostada was very good and the sashimi fresh, even though we are out in the middle of the dessert.

It was date night last night with my boyfriend and another couple. Been wanting to try Zenshin because I love Asian food! Very disappointing... food lacked flavor, chicken looked old, and salad was wilted. Will not be returning.

Very unique restaurant. Top quality food. Good value. Excellent options during happy hour. Outstanding service.

Best service experience ever. The staff was awesome. My husband has a shell fish allergy they took the time to make sure we was safe. This will not be our last visit. The server or manager that was taking care of us was amazing.

Had the garlic chicken, pork sweeker, pork mini burgers and spicy tuna roll with crab. It was a great meal.

Best rolls of my life, very subtils and gourmet. Best crème brûlée too, and I know what I mean as I am french and ate many of them in France. At Zenshin the crème brûlée is very delicate, so tender you almost melt with it. Will come back as soon as I can.

Quick service and amazing food. Had teriyaki beef with white rice, and it was awesome! Servers are quick and professional.

Zenshin has gone from good to bad with a real quickness. As die-hard locals in the immediate area, we used to enjoy great food, drinks and service at this restaurant. The food is still good, but the drinks are shamefully weak and the service has turned sketchy and occasionally downright unpleasant. Too bad, we really used to like it. It wasn't just a bad day on their part, it is a bad trend over several visits. They make you feel like a criminal if you question anything! No more for this family.

I was in Vegas for a conference and stayed for nine days at the horribly smoky South Point where Zenshin is located. One reason to eat there is that Zenshin is NEVER smoky, being located in a corner of the lobby/casino floor. Another is their absolutely fabulous food. I am a restaurant owner in my home city and am very picky about quality. Zenshin is SO good that my friends and I ate there every single day of our stay. Best sushi and sashimi I've ever had. Except for one waitress who gave us poor service at dinner one night, staff were friendly, helpful and gave us superb service. I will miss eating at Zenshin - until next March when I return for our next conference. Ten stars!

Was surprised that they had happy hour at 5:30, we had great food- California Roll and Crispy chicken.

My wife and I enjoyed the food at Zenshin. The Zenshin is located in the South Point Casino / Hotel and we stayed at The Grandview at Las Vegas which is across the street. We ate in one day and got takeout another. Our waitress was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We had sushi and sashimi and it was simply delicious. Our only grievance is that when we ate in the restaurant the waitress substituted salad for the soup that came with order. When we ordered takeout, we were told that “it is not their policy to do that.” I didn’t complain but just told the hostess that it was done for me the day before and she pleasantly stated that the waitress should not have done that. Not a big deal. However, a little consistency would be nice. Overall, the food was good and we would go back if we visit Las Vegas again.

We went dor happy hour and split a few apps and sushi and found the food really good especially for the price. The sushi is made fresh to order. We would eat here again.

I’m sorry that I can’t echo the excellent ratings this restaurant gets a lot of. We thought the staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive, but the food was not as good as we expected from the other reviews. It was “just ok”. We enjoy good sushi, and would like to recommend this place in the future. Because we put a lot stock in other Trip Advisor opinions, we will likely try here again - maybe we just made less desirable choices that night.

I ate here twice during my stay at South Point. Both times was almost near closing time so I only ordered items off of the Happy Hour menu. I tried the Asian Shrimp Salsa, Pork Belly Skewers, Fried Oysters, Garlic Chicken, and a Spider Roll. I really liked the Asian Shrimp Salsa, Pork Belly Skewers, and the Fried Oysters. All of these goes great with a couple of Tokyo Drivers. Next time I stay at South Point I will definitely eat here again to try some of the other items on the menu.

We like this location in The South Point Casino. I liked the standard sashimi and a few of the special rolls but the spicy tuna in the Dynamite Roll was not spicy.

A group of us had dinner here and the food and service was excellent. There do full bar service. The Sushi was very good but the highlight for me was the pork bun appetizer. When I go back it will be two of these for my full meal.

Wow!!! This place is awesome! I have never had edamame as good as their chili spice ones! I told them they need to put it in a bag and make a chip out of it!!! Amazing! The sushi was so fresh and rice was perfect! Service was spot on! Clean and fresh. That’s how a sushi restaurant should be! But seriously that edamame was to die for!

I was staying at a neighboring property but came for lunch before heading to the airport. Of the different restaurant options, this seemed the most likely to give me a quiet meal experience and was not disappointed. I was seated at the bar, understandably, and instantly greeted with water and menus. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and eventually a [non sequitur] pina colada. The bowl was delicious -- all of it -- and I rarely enjoy the broth. The cocktail was heavy with alcohol at the bottom but lightened as you drank through it. Mildly coconut, generally tasty. Fairly inexpensive, attentive service and decent ambiance for being just off the casino floor. I'll come back for sure.

Zenshin has tasty food and if you go from 2-6 PM they have a happy hour menu that is half price (or close to it). The food was delicious and service was excellent. Also very convenient if you're staying at South Point or next door at Grandview Resorts.

Excellent food and service (Leslie rocks). Two of us were new to Zenshin. Lesly went out of her way to accommodate us.

Went there for the late nite happy hour. The appetizers were fantastic and so was the service. The mojito was made just right and refreshing. My sister's had sushi and even though I don't eat sushi, it looked delicious. They enjoyed it a lot. Plus the prices were perfect.

Zenshin Asian Restaurant met all of our requirements. Location, in the same building as the theater. Food, the menu was extensive. The sushi rice was a little mushy but the presentation was good. No wait time, as we made reservations beforehand. However, the biggie was the ability to pay separately even though we were a large group. In these categories they receive excellent ratings, but the service was a 10! We were a group of 12 from the American School in Japan who hadn't seen each other for a while. We were ushered into a private room with Dominique as our server. She chatted with us, took our orders and happily made out separate checks for us with a smile. When we were done with our dinner some wanted dessert, so Dominique added the right dessert to the right checks, The restaurant stayed open until we were done visiting and even took photos of our group for us. Dominique was such an accommodating, warm and sincere individual, everyone in our group was so impressed with her efficiency, attitude and personality. She made our time together special.

This was a very good lunch. The sushi selection was good. The asian chicken salad was huge. The salad can absolutely feed two people. Gyoza was also good. Would definitely have lunch here again.

We arrived late to check into south point casino and decided on Zenshin for dinner! Delicious grilled chicken teriyaki bowl with gyoza for an appetizer! So yummy and super inexpensive!

My second time to be in this restaurant after a year. I would rather classify this restaurant more as a Japanese rather than as Asian restaurant as you find more Japanese dishes in their menu. Its menu offers classic Japanese rolls, baked and tempura rolls, specialty rolls, vegetable rolls, nigiri or sashimi, sushi combinations, salads, soups, noodles and rice and a good line of desserts. It also offers a good menu of starters. Zenshin has good daily happy hour (2-6pm) that offers selected appetizers, sushi rolls, pizza, desserts and drinks (including wines and beer) at discounted prices. I particularly like their their BBQ kalbi short ribs, grilled hamachi kama, chicken karaage and ika geso (fried squid tentacles). Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

First time here for light dinner/snack while on a short Las Vegas visit. Being a sushi purist, I opt only for nigiri. Don't do rolls much, and I'm usually leery of sushi restaurants that serve a lot of different rolls. Was surprised that it was nicely cut small sized pieces, tasted great, and the rice was properly seasoned. Even tried a roll (salmon skin). And they had a decent sake menu. What I had was very good. Just wished there was more variety (ie-not so common stuff). Another warning. Pieces are very nice bite sized, meaning that they are not your normal sized larger cuts. If you're a big eater or really hungry that night, it might get a bit pricey because its going to take a few to get you full. If I was really hungry, I probably would have eatened at least 15 orders.

We were rushed when we were here and that was too bad. The food was excellent and I wish we didn't have to eat in such a hurry. It is well worth taking your time and enjoying.

Good food and good variety. Not a typical Chinese restaurant. You can really get different items here

We had a private room for an 85th birthday celebration and the service was awesome!!!!! The food was buffet style and everything was hot and tasty! My favorite was the garlic chicken and the ume chu. Yummy!! They let us bring in our own cake and own decorations. It was a very memorable event and the staff made sure that everything was perfect! Reservations are highly recommended as there was always a wait for tables!!!

Had a great late night snack! I loved the marinated cucumbers and shisato peppers. My husband loved the pork belly. The salad was great too! They offer tons of different rolls. Everything was fresh.

For my birthday we gave Zenshin Asian Restaurant (inside the casino) a try. When we arrived it was Happy Hour. We decided to give it a try. They featured a decent amount of food and cocktail options. The pork belly and chicken appetizers were delicious. The pineapple cosmopolitan cocktail was outstanding. I’m happy we tried the Happy Hour menu because we’d had a late lunch. After nibbling on appetizers we were comfortably full so we will need to try the regular menu on our next visit.

My wife and I we did eat there 5 times during our 7 days vacation. service is great;also great choice of meals. we love it

Guess I'm a little spoiled in that I lived overseas for many years, but this is pretty decent Japanese and Chinese food. Fairly affordable too. Had the rice bowls. Good. Would have been great if they cracked an egg over the steaming hot rice, but many Americans aren't used to that. Waiter was right on top of things. No smoke from the casino. Comfortable chairs. Clean. Again would probably give this an excellent if not for the fact that I have had better food in China and Japan.

The sushi was amazing and fresh, happy hour pricing was a plus. Blackened tuna was different but good, Oxtails Tostadoa 👍

Good food, prices are good. Prices are great during happy hour! Wait wasn't long. We went during the week

Two couples of us ate here before a show. We had low expectations about the quality of the sushi. We were not disappointed. We did Happy Hour which ends at 6pm. The sushi was very pedestrian. Happy Hour wine was $6 per glass. The service was exceptional. The server did several nice things for us including guiding us to the better dishes.

Here in Vegas at the SouthPoint and decided to treat Family to some Sushi and I am so glad I did! The Food was phenomenal, presentation was Fabulos and our Chef Gabe was the nicest! The Staff were kind and took care of everything we threw at them. Thank You and we will be back!

The South Point is benefiting from being a lot busier these last few years. It offers great value when compared against the equivalent Strip Casino choices I ate at Zenshin twice during my stay, having Pork Ribs and Stir Fried Noodles with Chicken on the first occasion and Chicken Ramen on the second. Both times it was just for a quick bite to eat, where the central counter is the perfectly unobtrusive place to sit, eat and observe the staff at work. I really must try the sushi on my next trip, since watching them create to order. Also, it was a pleasant surprise to find a 6oz/175ml glass of wine priced at just $10. I love the Californian Pinots. Finally, as you might expect, all of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

We didn’t have a misstep here. Our sushi was really good. The ambience is nice big comfortable tables and booths. Our server was attentive. Really one of the better restaurants in Southpoint.

This restaurant is in the SouthPoint casino. Food was excellent and service was fast. I thought the prices were reasonable.

The food here was so good we ate here two times. The service and atmosphere is classy but friendly. Loved their Happy Hour specials.

This is a top notch place to eat at the casino. We had salads, calamari, sushi and drinks. Go and enjoy!

Went back 3x during my stay. Good value. Pork bun huge upside surprise. Got sampler when I went first time. Was good medium light meal. Seaweed salad, sushi rolls, oysters were all okay to good. Good people, good value, great pork bun.

Had a great Moscow mule at happy hour along with some great appetizers. Enjoyed our service in the restaurant, top notched.

This is a great deal during happy hour and for their lunch specials. They have very fresh seafood, great sushi. We had the fried oysters, fried squid legs, yellowtail fish collar with ponzu sauce, chicken wings with teriyaki, stir fried vegetables, and drinks. So good. We only paid approx. $40 for all of that, 2 people, with drinks. I highly recommend. The fish collar had so much meat and was scrumptious. The fried items were not greasy and the sauces and mayos complemented the seafood. The sushi was fresh and made to order. Rice was sticky and flavorful, the salmon was sashimi style but suchi grade quality. My mouth is watering just writing this review! Will return!

Upon hearing recommendations from other Celiac sufferers to check this place out, my wife and I decided to give them a try. We ordered takeout from them in mid-September, 2021. We ordered a poke bowl, the sashimi sampler, and a couple of sushi rolls. The restaurant staff provided a gluten-friendly menu, asked all of the right questions, explained that our order would take slightly longer as it would be prepared separately from other food, and made sure we got gluten-free soy sauce with our meal. All done in a friendly and appropriately-concerned manner. The meal itself was fantastic! Fresh, delicious...did I mention delicious? We loved all of it, and are excited for our next trip (at which point, we'll probably order a more reasonable quantity of food—we definitely overdid it the first time around)! Whether you require a gluten-free diet (as my wife does) or not, I think you'll be very happy with your experience here.

A group of us had lunch here. It’s a mix of sushi & other japanese food. They also had lunch specials that came with soup, or bento boxes that came with 4 pieces of a California roll. The vegan options were limited - i would have liked to see a couple more options. I did have a rice bowl with tofu & veggies. It was good but very bland. I had to add a bunch of soy sauce. Most of my group had teriaki chicken bowls, which they all enjoyed. The service there was excellent too.

Worst sushi ever.. The rolls were breaking apart (once we tried to pick them up..), the role wasn't even covered properly with rice. Both the spicy tuna and the spicy salmon were just spicy and without any taste - I couldn't even see fish in it. The octopus was gummy and was thrown to the napkin.. one of the pieces with fish - the fish actually had a bone in it!!! The dinamite salmon was full of fat and without any taste what so ever, once we complained about it we were told it's "salmon stomach "... The dish was so disgusting that we asked to take it - the person who took it - put it on the table next to us and only when "our" waiter asked us how things were - he found out that the dish was set aside... but it was taken of the bill. For the little one we took chicken tariaky and during the dinner, he moved it in front of him, so he could drink and all of a sudden it was gone... seems that someone was too eager to clean the table - for that plate we paid full price... The noodle was tasteless and at the end of the dinner the kid who ate from it had a rush around his mouth, it could also have been from the ginger, but it was the first time he had any reaction to any food... The sushi deluxe combo was 25$ - for a roll of spicy tuna and 7 more nigiri - the sushi at Winconis better tasting and cheaper... The misu soup was good and our waiter was very friendly but 71$ for this lousy dinner was too much.. and that's after 10% discount.. and the funny thing was that we had a coupon from the hotel, for 10%, but we were told that we already had a discount put there, because of our dissatisfaction... so thank you for nothing.... It's a classic 3 in a 1 dinner: first time, last time and one too many...

I didn’t quite know what to expect getting sushi a giant casino that I’m here to tell you… The Poke Bowl was a lot of tuna for the price and we got it happy hour so it was five dollars! Got the house salad too and it was huge, so be forewarned, don’t fill up on salad so you have room for the delicious sushi.

What a great happy hour! Everything we ordered was basically half price! But most importantly, even if it wasn’t, it would still have been fantastic food and great service!!! The sushi rolls tasted great. We shared California Roll, Harmony and Lucky. Along with our Sapporo beers we enjoyed a great meal for under $35. Our waiter “Jason” gave us a “last call” so we could place our final order before 6pm.

This is a great place for sushi. The appetizer menu is plenty for a meal and the prices are really great.

A mid-level sushi place that nonetheless served great food at a reasonable price. I would go back! Very good.

had a nice dinner, food was good as always. Service was excellent, Lisa does a great job taking care of us.

The young man who prepared my sushi was super nice, and aimed to please... Unfortunately, the waitress (Christine) made me feel like I was a nuisance, and didn't seem to care if I was happy or not. Definitely NOT World Class service. The Sushi itself was mediocre, as some of the ingredients were simply sub-par. Preparation was good though.

Great sushi and happy hour specials. The teriyaki beef wasn't very good (bland, no flavor) but Sushi was fresh and excellent!

Ate here 6 days out of 7! Great sushi, garlic chicken, fried eggplant, pizza are just a few of the treasures. Two happy hours every day with cocktail and food specials!

A couple of my buddies really wanted some fresh sushi ( I don't eat it) So they had alot of sushi and loved every peice, I had a marvolus short rib steak with mitzio soup and salad...along with a bottle of Sake and Sapporo beer plus wonderful service means we'll be back again.

The food was good. The chicken wasn't chicken breast (I much prefer chicken breast to any other kind) but it was good. We ordered 2 appetizers each and my husband had 2 drinks and I had 1. The drinks were really good too. The waiter was very good and the other staff was as well. We would go back again.

We visited the sushi place because of a cancelled trip and got booked in South Point hotel . Found this sushi place and to our surprise AMAZING food and on top of that during happy hour almost half price of the menu. The most delicious sushi, fresh and everybody working for the restaurant are so friendly and eager to please us. Highly recommend this place Definitely coming back to this place to dine

We love this place. The staff and food are the best. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Our daughter was celebrating with us. She has an extreme shellfish allergy. The restraunt is extremely accommodating and concerned for her safety. General manager Steve is the best

Wonderful restaurant with a great Happy Hour! The Li Hing martini was excellent. The chili garlic edamame, poke, and chicken lettuce wraps were excellent. Fried oysters were acceptable. Soft shell crab sliders were disappointing. The first night our waitperson was exceptional; the person who served us the second evening was very forgetful.

Overpriced and mediocre sushi. 10-14$ rolls is crazy when comparing to much better sushi restaurants along Spring Mountain Rd. The Misu soup was disgusting. Tempura at 9$ was ridicoulsly small.

This Asian restaurant, located in South Point Hotel, is very clean. well lit and comfortable. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. The service is first rate and worthy of a visit.

Sushi was great for the non sushi lover. Not normally a fan of it so was pleasantly surprised. Ended up visiting three times during our stay. Fantastic seaweed salad. I could have made that a meal.

We were going to a New Year's Eve celebration at South Point, so decided to have a pre-function dinner there. We had eaten at Michael's a few times, so decided to try something really different. So glad that we had dinner at Zenshin! Nice seating and service even for a hectic evening. Started dinner with a shared flight of three plum wines to find the one we enjoyed the most. That was an added plus. We had miso soup, followed by specialty rolls. Our entrees were Miso Black cod and charbroiled baby back pork ribs. All were very tasty, promptly served and reasonably priced. This is a real find if you are on the far-south strip.

This is a decent sushi restaurant with some really nice early bird specials each day. Any 2 specials at $5-6 each makes for a good meal. If you stay at the hotel there is a discount coupon for 10% off meals over $20.

A great place for variety and not just traditional Asian food/Chinese restaurant food. The service is attentive and the food comes out HOT

The happy hours rolls and drinks were very good. Good meal and drinks for under $75 for 2 people. The service was spot on.

I enjoyed eating here more than once, took take out once back to my room. I would go back to eat again on next visit to Las Vegas

I had been to the cinema at South Point and wanted to have some food. I decided on Zenshim and I was not disappointed. It turned out to be happy hour and the options were very good. The menu was extensive and their were plenty of options. I also had a glass of wine and it was better than expected. If your at south point it’s worth a visit!

Located in Southpoint casino hotel. Fabulous sunomo salad. Love happy hour 1/2 price appies! Service always great. Have a time share next door and this restaurant is my happy indulgence!

Zenshin offers a daily happy hour that runs 2-6PM plus a weekend only reverse happy hour that includes both bar bites and a dozen or more specialty cocktails. Since we held dinner reservations at the Silverado Steakhouse, we decided to take advantage of the $7 happy hour pricing by ordering one cocktail each. The happy hour seems to be popular so we were told it would be about 15 minutes before we could be accommodated, an estimate that proved to be accurate. My wife chose a Caribbean Cosmo which included mango rum, pineapple and cranberry. My beverage of choice was the Li Hing martini (Tyku silver, mango rum, triple sec, lime and a Li-Hing rim). Both drinks were refreshing and well worth ordering again.

Staying at the Grandview Resort next door to the South Point Casino where this restaurant is located we decided our last night to go over and see where we might be able to get in on a good happy hour. This place provided just that. We love Sushi and they had a great variety on their happy hour menu. Their martini's were also pretty much half price and they didn't stinge on the alcohol. The happy hour is between 2-6 pm. Our server Rory was great and very attentive. And the restaurant from what we saw with water refillers and so forth, really worked as a team. Even the managers or possibly the owners, came around offering water and asking how everything was. We were really impressed with the service and the food was Exceptional!! Try the lychee martini, it was great.

The rolls weren't especially inventive, but they were fresh and well made. Given that this is Vegas, they prices were fair--not inflated. Additionally, the place was very clean and service quick.

We celebrated our Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant and we loved it! We had an amazing time! The food is amazing and the service super nice!

Great appetizers for Happy Hour. We stopped in this place for happy hour and had several items on their discount appetizers menu. All were very good at $6 apiece. The drinks were also good. Located in the Southpoint Casino this Asian restaurant and bar was conveniently located, provided attentive service, reasonable prices and a good clean environment. I would recommend it to anyone interested in good Asian fusion food.

We stay at SouthPoint quite often, and decided to have a nice dinner at Zenshin, i had the garlic shrimp and ramen, and the wife had the ox tail curry...both of us were disappointed with our meals. Probably won't return to this restaurant.

Not being used to having this type of food, the waitress was less than helpful about the dishes and a little condescending. We ended up not being very venturous...l my husband had a rice-bowl and mine.... a sampler with a thimble of rice under each tiny slice of fish. Would not eat there unless you already have favorites! We did not even have a 2nd drink.

I arrived at 9:44p. I asked the host to see the menu. She said it was last call. I asked what time was last call…she said 9:45p. I was denied service because I was on time…9:45p. Extremely disappointed with the guest experience at this restaurant.

The food was surprisingly good coming from a sushi place in the middle of the desert! Quality sushi and I sat at the bar and was mesmerized by the chefs making the rolls so fast. It really is an art! I was so incredibly stuffed. I got two rolls and fried squid all for only $20. That happy hour is definitely worth going to for quality food. If I was with other people l would have explored the whole menu. But since I was going solo, I tried to limit my budget.

We come here every year since we are from NC. Now that covid has taken over- Zenshin has had Happy Hour all day and every day. I was ecstatic and had a feast. Fried Oysters, Spider roll and lettuce wraps. I was stuffed!

Located in the South Point Casino. The food is outstanding, the service is top notch, always checking in. The atmosphere is fine. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was our first meal at Zenshin, while staying at South Point. Three of us had the lunch sushi and it was pretty good. Our friends‘ Seifert had the Garlic Chicken bowl and loved it. All in all, pretty solid food at a reasonable price. We recommend it!

We went there while in Vegas last week. The sashimi platter was excellent, as was the miso soup. They had a Japanese IPA, a nice change from the usual light Japanese beers. They also has sparkling sake, which Cindy enjoyed a lot.

Just what you would want in a sushi place. Very fresh, great service, great tasting food. We ate there 4 times in a week and the service was always quick and friendly. Nice to seat at the bar and watch the sushi being made too.

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner and it a nice surprise. The service was excellent and the food was very good. If your in South Point Casino and looking for something a little different and interesting this is a good place go.

Go between 2-6PM and they have a happy hour menu of half price sushi rolls. Very good sushi but generally a bit overpriced (but it's Vegas, so of course it is). Decent service. I go back every time I'm staying nearby.

Saw an advertisement in the casino and decided to drop in for Happy Hour, so glad we did. Service was top notch, there was never a dirty dish or utensil left on our table as we finished a dish and our drinks were consistently topped off. We order appys to share, we went with the vegetable spring rolls, California roll, chicken lettuce wraps, teriyaki chicken sliders and chicken karage, everything was so good. I think the chicken karage was my favorite but all dishes were excellent. Service was spot on and everyone was so friendly. Our bill came to $26 plus tip.

I ate here last night with business associates. I was a bit concerned about the quality of the sashimi at a smaller casino off the strip. I ordered seared ahi, and was extremely surprised at the freshness of the ahi. It was a good preparation that allowed the flavor of the ahi to come through and demonstrated its freshness. Miso soup was good and service was solid.

Excellent food and service. Pleasantly surprised to find this great restaurant inside South Point Hotel.

This place has some great lunch specials. Some sushi rolls start as low as $5, and then they have many more that are only $6 or $7 dollars that would cost $11 plus elsewhere. Service was okay, our server disappeared the last 20 min we were there.

Went to this restaurant for happy hour and ended up having dinner. Great Lychee martinis. Nice variey of sushi rolls. Not the best sushi I've had, but pretty good.

The service was the best part of the meal. We had mainly rolls and the seaweed was sooo chewy I couldn’t chew it, I had to eat around it. The salmon was very fresh and flavorful. I probably would not eat here again there are just too many better choices in Vegas.
Dinner with friends
Very friendly staff all the way from the hostess to server. Garret was a very friendly and convivial waiter making sure we got everything we needed to make our dining experience great. We ordered quite an array of different food and everything was right on the money! The mussels were so good we had to order a second one. We would definitely recommend Zenshin and will return!
