Zio Al's Pizza and Pasta Reviews

While trying to find dinner on Thanksgiving night, Google listed Zio Al's Pizza and Pasta at 15340 Dallas Pkwy in Dallas, Texas. I am so glad it did. BEST PIZZA EVER!!! I have eaten a lot of pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed the sweetness of the soft crust and fresh and spicy toppings. I don't live in the area, but if I did I would eat there every day. Loved it.

Their pizza is good but I might recommend their lasagna, their Zios's Sub, or their gyro over their pizza, but all are good.

Went here on my own evening of Tuesday 11th December. I was alone and asked do they serve beer? I was told in no uncertain terms no. I was the sat on a table in the lobby adjacent to the door. The food was mixed. Wings were amazing , but the ceased salad had walked chicken that caused the lettuce to wilt. Not made to feel welcome here. Probably would look elsewhere next time

Found this place accident but it was a great find. They have very good pizza, lasagna,chicken fettuccine Alfredo, wings and sandwiches. the bonus is they are open until 3:00pm-3:00am

a small pizza delivery place is delivering big flavor! From the first bite I knew it was a great pie the cheese was not the cheap kind off name brand pizza parlors like to use. This was number one grade. The ingredient's were all very good, the staff was friendly and accommodating, not to many people eat in I gathered but they took great care of our small party. If you anywhere within delivery area I would recommend this place for sure.

I've had this place a handful of times. All deliveries so I am not sure which location delivered to me. I've had their Greek Pizza which was tasty. Chicken alfredo had a very runny sauce. Calzones were huge and very good! Spaghetti with meat sauce left a lot to be desired. The meat sauce had a weird taste to it. I will be ordering from here again since it's usually all I can get after a night at the local pub but I will steer clear of the pastas.

This is literally my favorite pizza spot EVER! This family owned restaurant is caring, attentive, and FRESH! At 2am, where can you get this kind of service. And they have hookah if that's your thing. I cant wait to go to their new Frisco location! They put other pizza restaurants to shame. You have to try the hot wings if you like spicy food!!!

Great little place just off DNT. Very nice environment... Not too crowded. Friendly service. Reasonable prices, and very, very good food. I tried the meatball sub which was very good AND 6 boneless wings. My initial reaction: This was a good find. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza!

Good quality pizza the & all the toppings are either beef or turkey I love it & they are open until 3 am

Ordered twice so far from this place during our stay in Frisco. Both times they delivered great quality food. We had pasta, cheese steak sandwiches, fries and pizza. All were great. I recommend this store.

I've never had a pizza delivered hot as if it came directly out the oven to our door. It was yummy to say the least. They are fast and friendly which is a plus. We will give them a shout the next time we are in town.

I had the pleasure of having their delicious meat lovers pizza! This pizza was perfect! It didn't have the doughy taste and was not too salty like dominoes, Pizza Hut and other chain pizza places... I throughly enjoyed their pizza! I love the fact that they open late (till 3am) I will be back and continue to get all my pizzas from there! I can never eat dominoes or Pizza Hut ever again after having this awesome pizza! I will be a long live customer!!

My husband and I visited this restaurant/hookah lounge during a trip to Dallas. We had already eaten dinner so we did not try anything on the menu but we did have hookah and amazing mint tea. We requested a hookah that was minty and fruity and the server mixed something up for us. It wasn't the best hookah we have ever had but the service was nice and the atmosphere was good. We will definitely come back again.

The Pizza and Calzones are a tasty fresh delicious dinner for great food great full for your money when you don't feel like cooking. The crew is friendly, food is fresh made delicious, tasty MADE TO ORDER, which is what I love about this place. They are consistent with their freshness and presice order the way you ask for it!! y EVERY TIME! LOVE IT

AVOID THIS PLACE. LOOK AT OTHER PIZZA PLACES. THE WORST SERVICE We checked in late to the hotel And the Hotel staff said to try this place. We placed an order at 1156pm. They said it would be about an hour We called at 1255 to check on our Order. We called again at 118am. Please keep in mind the Pizza place is 5 miles from the hotel. We finally called at 130am and cancelled the order. THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE We have EVER EXPERIENCED. Every time we called. He is almost there. Yes. He is almost there. We were done. As for the order. Two cheese pizzas and some chicken wings. Also. One small order of pasta. Two adults and 5 kids eating. Don’t know how they stay in business

Delicious... and open late too! Much better than chain manufactured pizzas. Restaurant was still packed at 10:30 on a Thursday night... always a good sign. I highly recommend Zio Al’s to anyone.

I was told this place has a halal menu and that was the reason I went there. There was nothing spectacular about the pizza. Pricing is on the higher side and it is open really late (until 3 am). So If you are craving for a halal pepperoni pizza at the middle of he night, then you may want order from here. I may return here just to get halal meat pizzas.

One of the best things about this place is that they will serve food until the wee hours of the morning. The pizza itself is slathered in fresh cheese and generously topped with whatever ingredients you choose. The crust is good quality and does not appear to be frozen. Their salads could improve a bit. The chicken they add to it resembles the strips from Tyson's ready-to-eat bag of grilled chicken. The flavor and texture is off there, but most people don't come here for salads. Overall, this place is definitely worth a try.
