A must for great Greek food. Fried calamari appetizer is a must - not deep fried but pan fried. Lamb souvlaki is delicious. Travis Walk location has best atmosphere, but Preston/Forest Lane has same great food.

I had dinner with about a dozen colleagues at Ziziki's recently. Overall, the experience was quite good, and I would return without hesitation. The appetizers that we ordered included dolmades, hummus, calamari, and cheese, and all were very well prepared. In addition, the wine was a pleasant surprise--our waiter recommended the Justin Cabernet, a wine with which I was not familiar, and it was very enjoyable. The entree menu is extensive, and I was intrigued by the Greek Paella. This particular dish replaces the standard Spanish version's rice with orzo pasta, and the meats with a lamb chop, fish, shrimp, and Greek sausage. I ordered the dish, and it was good. For the $25 price, though, I expected great. In a Spanish paella, the ingredients are cooked together for a long period, allowing the flavors to mature and blend. Although the overall flavor of the Greek version was good, it was evident that the meats were added at the very end. Additionally, the orzo could have used a great deal more overall punch. Further, for the price, I expected more than one smallish shrimp and lamb chop. Bottom line--good quality, good service, and worth a return visit. Value needs improvement.

I really like Ziziki's, so don't let my review dissuade you from coming. The food is good, the service generally attentive, and the dining room is comfortable and not too loud. I just need to get a weird incident with wine off my chest, which is why I go three stars for my last visit. Ziziki's recently added white and red Greek wine tasting flights to their menu. In our visit before last, my wife and I tried the red flight. In our last visit we decided to try the white flight too. The white flight arrived promptly before we had any food (so our palates were unadulterated for what I'm about to describe). The wine is delivered with tasting notes that indicated three very different wines from three different regions and featuring different grapes. The #3 white wine was supposedly in French oak for 5 months before bottling. Yet, the three wines looked identical, smelled identical, and tasted the same from start to finish. Every aspect, sugar level, acid, viscosity, color, nose, seemed exactly the same to both me and my wife, which were conclusions we came to independently. Oak is a pretty easy characteristic to spot, and neither of us noted any oak in the #3 wine either. I flagged the waiter and expressed my concern that we had three glasses of the same wine. He assured me that the bartender knew what he was doing and proceed to change the topic to explain how different grapes were grown in Greece. I told him that either the wine was the same or so similar as to not merit doing a tasting flight. I said we'd drink the flight, because we liked the wine, we were just a little disappointing that it wasn't much of a tasting experience. I later ordered a red flight, which was like we had remembered from our last visit. The first red wine was OK, but my wife liked the second, and I really enjoyed the third. In fact, I ordered a glass of the "#3 of the red flight." The waiter returned with a glass of the same white that was in our white flight and immediately announced his mistake, without me prompting him. I had to wonder then, why did he bother to bring it to the table if it was a mistake he knew he had made? Anyway, I told him to take the glass of white back, but he insisted on leaving it on the table even after I told him I was not going to drink it. I ended up giving it to another table where some friends of ours were eating. As an aside, our friends had tried the white flight as well and could not tell any difference between the three glasses. Later when I got the bill, the glass of white was charged to my bill and then comped. So, management, if you find my bill and review it, please know the staff was not doing me any favors. It was just a mistake. Anyway, the food was good, and the glass of red I ordered was delivered. We'll go back. We just won't order the white flight again.

When you feel craving for lamb - Zizikis is the place to go. Lamb souvlaki, lamb gyro, lamb shank and my favorite: the rack of lamb. Of cours the great wine list helps complementing the lamb dishes

This has become the go-to Sunday brunch/lunch stop when I visit my grandmother in Dallas. It may look like just another unremarkable restaurant in a strip center. But look closer. The inside is simple and warm. I like that it is divided into a number of rooms and a good sized patio. It makes for good acoustics and makes me feel like my grandmother and I are having a private lunch. The service is top notch. They're always friendly and helpful but don't intrude. Ask their suggestions if you aren't sure! Sunday brunch is delicious. Such a variety of choices, and it all tastes as good as if it were the only dish you ordered. This last visit, I ordered off the menu though. I got the mousaka. The potatoes at the bottom were crisp tender. The tomato sauce was well seasoned. And every component was perfectly balanced. I also passed on a mimosa (though it was difficult) and ordered an iced tea. It's so good there. It's a simple, flavorful tea with a hint of citrus. I could not get enough. Ziziki's is such a treat for me. I can't wait for my next visit.

Very poor service. We were there for Easter brunch. We had to wait a while before somebody came by to take our drink orders. The waitress dropped off the drinks then disappeared. Our plates were never cleared. We had to get up twice to ask the hostess for the bill. The food was good.

We went for lunch. We had the artichoke hummus and lamb salad. Both were delicious. The pita bread was warm , fresh and soft. Yummy pita bread. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned. Salad ingredient were really fresh. Would definitely go back.

I have been here twice this month and am very impressed with the food and service! I leave feeling like I ate healthy, which I like also! The Zizikis cheese bread appetizer is to die for - and the trio of dips is terrific too. The Zizikis salad is also one of my favorite things, and so is the veggie skewer entree served with the BEST roasted potatoes on the side!! And the most important thing to order: dessert. The baklava ice cream cake was absolutely heavenly. You don't want to miss it!!

Really enjoyed our dining experience at Ziziki’s. The decor is lovely and with reservations we were seated immediately in the porch room! Drinks were good, berry mojito and spartan mojito and our servers timing was excellent! We opted for a few appetizers of calamari, Greek salad( tasty but surprised to see cherry tomatoes used) and the triple dips! Full from those we opted for avgolemeno soup with chicken! It was very tasty but very little orzo/rice was added. The lamb shank gyro was also good! We finished with the sharing of the baklava ice cream cake! While it wasn’t my yiayias recipe it was delish! Enjoy!

My husband and I went to Greece last fall and fell in love with the beauty and the food so while on a Dallas business trip, we came across Ziziki's and thought we'd give it a go knowing that this was risky after 2 weeks of authentic Greek cuisine. Ziziki's did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and to top it off was their excellent service (my husband's napkin landed on the floor and before he knew it was there, a new one was placed on the table; such attention to detail!). If we lived in Dallas, this would be one of our "go to" places.

While it is a bit pricey, it is by far the best Greek food I've had of all the restaurants I've been to in the DFW and north suburban area. The service was fantastic as well. We had appetizers, salads, and pitas and it all tasted great. I wish there was on closer to McKinney.

The chicken was DRY; lamb was TOUGH; balllava was an insult to inteligence of one who knows what baklava is. Please don’t waste your money. What a disappointment. 🥲

Love love love this restaurant. We have been at lunch and sat out in the courtyard but recently ate there again for dinner. Service is great and would have had dessert however, overstuffed. Yummy!

Great food, great service , quaint atmosphere. Everything was delicious! We had a salad with salmon skewers and pita with 3 different dips that were really enjoyable. The glass of Pinot added to the lovely evening. Close to The Cooper fitness area, a great go to restaurant.

I have been there for a business lunch, and the personnel make as to feel we are not in a strict formed lunch but in a party. Food nice, prices normal.

Greek food with an American flare and friendly service are the best features of this casual neighborhood cafe. Sunday brunch is well worth a visit!

Few months ago I had dinner at Ziziki restaurant. I ordered GRECIAN CHICKEN which is a pan-seared herbed chicken breast with garlic, mushrooms, and potatoes. Most delicious chicken breast I ever had. Then for dinner I had their mouth watering YA YA BAKLAVA which is layers of filo, walnuts, cinnamon and on top Ya Ya’s homemade syrup. I highly recommend this place. I will go again.

I am not a fan of Greek food (at least before I ate here) and I was very pleased with my meal. I had dinner here with three others and was very pleasantly surprised by the food. The Three Drip appetizer combo was excellent and the Greek Paella was amazing. If I go back, I would have to get the paella again. The Baklava Ice Cream Cake was unique and really good.

Having been to brunch at the Travis location, my wife and I thought we'd check in on the Preston Forest version, as it is more convenient for us. The food was excellent, just like the brunch was on Travis. The calamari appetizer was incredibly light and well seasoned, and the artichoke hummus was both healthy and engaging. Wife had the salmon salad, which was a very generous portion of skewered salmon over a lovely greek salad. It was more than she could finish. I had the "Greek Paella" which was totally nuts in a good way! There was a lamb chop (perfect, by the way), chicken, shrimp, and sausage in a bed of orzo. A wonderful way to sample many different items, and too much for me to eat in one sitting. Split a Baklava Ice Cream cake for dessert (for the other reviewer who was surprised that is wasn't traditional baklava, it is called an "ice cream cake" right on the menu). With a cappuccino, it was a perfect ending. Oh, and I should mention that my wife really liked the Ziziki's Sunkiss as a pre dinner cocktail. The wine menu is eclectic, with wines I recognized, and many that I did not. We drank Prosecco, which was great.

Tonight was my second visit. Had rack of lamb with greek mashed potatoes and asparagus. Started with calamari. Great white sauce. I really enjoyed my meal. Nothing fancy but just good.

First time dining for brunch. The cost ($21.95) includes unlimited champagne or mimosas. After being seated you are greeted with a basket of Ziziki bread and sauce which is DIVINE! It's a delicious pita topped with cheese coupled with an incredible ziziki cucumber-dill dip. SOOOOO GOOOD!!!! I LOVE mediterranean food but thought the buffet offerings were just average. You can get freshly made pancakes, an omelet or eggs benedict. My husband had the latter and it was "ok". The big buffet winners were the greek salad, Spanankopita, roasted new potatoes, and chocolate liquer cake. Save your calories and EAT THE CAKE! It's seriously SO MOIST and delicious--similar to a rum cake but even BETTER! We stuck around quite a bit after eating and our waitress continued to fill our glasses.

Great service! Yummy appetizers for regulars and tourist. great for family or two. One thing missing fahhhhlaaafal for the veggie heads in the world.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. In the past I haven't exactly had good luck with Greek food so I'm usually wary to try another place out. So glad my mother wanted to come here! It's a nice looking restaurant with pleasant service. We started with the Ziziki bread, which is just a pita with some cheese and herbs served with their wonderful Ziziki sauce. First off, that sauce was a pleasant surprise for me since what I've had in the past has been either overly cucumber-y (not my favorite flavor) or too heavy with the sour yogurt flavor. This was a nice balance of cucumber, herbs, and yogurt. The cheese pita was nothing special when it comes to what they do to it, but it sure tasted great. My mother ordered the lamb burger (on a pita bun), which was delightfully drippy with that sauce and piled high with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and purple onions. The burger itself was a very good size and was cooked to about medium. I had the pleasure of the other half of it the next day and can attest to how well that pita held up after a day in the fridge and a turn in the oven to reheat. I ordered the lamb souvlaki and it was also very nicely done. They didn't ask how I wanted the lamb but it came out perfectly to me. Some pieces were a bit past medium, and some were a little more medium rare, but all in all it was terrific. It was also laid out on a pita with more of that sauce drizzled over. Everything came with a side of so-so roasted potatoes which were on the far side of having too much salt. I'm getting really tired of every restaurant I go to having such a liberal hand with salt. A little salt enhances flavor, we all know that. But someone needs to tell these people that more salt doesn't exactly enhance even more. We originally planned on having two desserts but we were close to full so we ended up sharing a tiramisu, which was very nice with a heavy espresso flavor. I also had a lovely cup of coffee that was fairly strong with a hint of cinnamon which was a nice touch. My only real negative (besides those salty potatoes) is that I thought the prices were a tad on the high side for lunch. But overall I'll be very happy to return!

Came here solo on business trip, had the mahi-mahi, and ziziki salad. Great food, well cooked and seasoned. Waiter offered excellent wine recommendation. Looks like they have a good brunch buffet with $0.10 mimosas if you are there during brunch hours. Would recommend if you are in the mood for Greek.

Wonderful Mediterranean Greek! Lamb pitas were mouth watering and the lamb lasagna was so good! Baklava ice cream for dessert simply topped the meal off! Service was fantastic.

Always great food here...Wonderful salads and souvlakis...nice atmosphere...Crowded at lunch...parking is only bad thing

It is a nice restaurant with a nice service. We stayed longer than usual in a restaurant and we were not pushed to leave. The food is very good and clean. The desserts are a must. I would love to go back when in Dallas.

Food is just solid. Lamb is almost always fresh and not tough .The potato’s are best in Dallas and make me have dreams of my next visit. Prices are fair for Dallas and service is excellent.Thats my story and I am sticking to it!

Dallas really doesn't have enough good Greek restaurants but Ziziki's helped tide us over to get our fill. We started off with the popular "Greek Board" ( basically Artisanal locally sourced cheeses, charcuterie meats, dolmades, artichoke hummus, crostini, specialty jams, and mustards) which partially filled our 4 diner's appetites and made us hunger for the main course - we chowed down on the Salmon filet and the Grecian chicken entrees. The Salmon was served on a delicious bed of coucous and smothered in a tangy sauce that brought out the best of the fish. All in all, everything was deliciouos.

We've been going to Ziziki's for years and have never been disappointed. Good service, great food, mellow atmosphere. Equally good for a romantic date or a big fat Greek family dinner. Try the salmon either on the salad or suvlaki... Very tasty. And dont miss the baklava ice cream cake dessert.

We were here for a get together, and I loved the food. The slovaki was delicious and the hummus very good too. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. We will be back more often for sure.

The food was very good. Lamb loin for one meal and Greek Paella (lamb chop, sausage, shrimp, chicken and orzo) made for a very nice meal. The house Ziziki salad was really excellent, made of tasty high quality cucumber, tomatoes, creamy feta, olives, and lettuce. We picked a Greek red wine that was spicy and fit the meal very well. The staff was attentive, the server was friendly, it was a well run restaurant.

We ate here at the recommendation of a friend. We found the food to be amazing and delicious. However, the service was lacking and we found our server to be slow and perhaps preoccupied with something else, or someone else.

Been going for years. People lovely. Never a bad meal. Ice cold Prosecco. So hard to beat this place. Quiet and pretty outside patio. It's a fail safe. Artichoke dip can't miss! Luv ya

Dinner at Ziziki’s restaurant was an excellent experience. My wife, our 7-year-old granddaughter and I, were visiting Dallas from Oceania (Guam) and on Friday night decided to have Greek/Mediterranean dinner. In the recent past, we have experienced outstanding Greek restaurants in Australia and honestly, we did not expect a meal matching those from downtown Melbourne. However, we were pleasantly surprised - by food, by the restaurant atmosphere and by the service. My wife has chosen rack of lamb (by the way, a lamb from Australia) that was fantastic (I tried a bit), I had outstanding Greek paella and our granddaughter has chosen salmon filet with vegetables. We started with artichoke dip on pita and signature Ziziki’s salad. Everything was truly great, especially with the bottle of fine wine. We have been served by the professional – quick, helpful and polite. We highly recommend Ziziki’s – it can easily compete with restaurants located within authentic Greek communities.

We come here fairly often or order takeout. Today was after church and although Wifey got her usual Greek salad with (lots of) grilled chicken, I opted for the brunch buffet, $25 with Mimosa. Fantastic. For the rest of the day, I’m DONE! We arrived 12:15-ish, and it filled up shortly after that, so get there early.

Great lamb, fresh ingredients, but service lacking. Service problems persisted throughout meal. Hostess and waitress dressed very provocatively and were constantly engaged in phone conversations.

We went on business dinner and the place turned out to be a great pick... great Wine collection...excellent Martini and Margaritas. Coming to food...starters good choice on the menu standout for me was Calamari and the main course Rack of Lamb was truely amazing. We were recommended a platter of desserts and it just made the evening better.

I've been to Ziziki's a few times and written prior reviews that were more favorable that this most recent visit. Not sure why the latest dinner wasn't so good. No problem getting in mid-week without a reservation. About 40% of the restaurant was open at 6:30 pm. They had nice choice of wines by the glass, and I had a lovely Emollo Sauvignon Blanc. As a first course, I chose Greek lemon soup (Avgolemono) with chicken. It had a nice flavor but was served warm, not hot enough in my opinion. That was followed by the Free Range Lamb Souvlaki, which was a disappointment. Why? The lamb was tough. I initially attempted to eat the pita with lamb cubes inside. Impossible? The meat was much too tough to bite through, so I used fork and knife which was also not easy to cut into. And even the pita was difficult to cut into. For sure, I expected the meat to be more tender. It had a nice flavor, especially with the Ziziki sauce added, but..... The side roasted potatoes were very good. Overall, for the price paid, I didn't enjoy my experience this time.

We were so disappointed in our dinner. The lamb meatball and sauce was delicious. The Flaming cheese was a tiny portion and hard. The lamb gyro was hard, chewy, and grisly. I think this is the first time I have ever sent anything back because it didn’t taste good. They brought back a fresh gyro sandwich and they were very apologetic. Unfortunately it wasn’t any better. I thanked them and they boxed it up for me. We won’t be going back.

Greeted with a smile initiates a good experience! We were and seated quickly. We ordered a Greek white wine, Assyrtiko, which is similar to Pinot Grigio but has more flavor and body (don’t miss it!). The salmon filet and the chicken souvlakis were cooked perfectly along with sides of asparagus, couscous, and potatoes. Our waiter was efficient and the service was good. The manager was ever present, watching over the food as it came off the grill. Always a good sign! We appreciate the open kitchen concept where you see the food being presented for delivery. This food service transparency provides a confidence and quality dimension. You will enjoy the experience.

Quaint little place in N. Dallas serving very good Greek dishes. 3 people had Grecian chicken and cleaned off their entire plates. My wife had orzo instead of the potatoes that come with the meal. I had the Greek salad with lamb which was very good too. Ziziki bread makes a good starter before your meal. The service is very attentive too.

There were seven of us for brunch and we all loved it! They had a range of delicious foods and bottomless mimosas. Fruit, vegetables, salad, many Greek favorites and really good hummus. All of the staff members were polite, funny and personable. The decor is really nice and we will be back. At $25/person, it was a great deal.

My wife and I eat here a lot for lunch and when also take the family for dinner. The salads are great and service is very good.

I had dinner with a group at Zaziki's. The appetizers and each of the six meals was delicious. The seafood was fresh, the salad greens were crisp, and the pita was soft.

I was taken her for my 15 year work anniversary and ordered the lamb skewer. The lamb was so tough I had to ask for another knife to cut it. Eventually, I gave up and the waiter took my plate to the kitchen for the chef to cut it up for me. I don't know what left over parts of lamb was used for my plate but more than once I saw artery veins in the meat and ate around them. I would have returned the plate as inedible but didn't want to embarrass the owner that took me out to eat. Gross. I will not be returning there ever again! Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with amazing service. Sara somehow remembers our names and preferences. All the Greek favorites are offered and the wine list has a nice range of selections and prices. The patio is ideal on nice evenings.

Our server did not seem well-trained at all. She forgot one person's main dish and did not ask when she should bring out that person's soup (my friend was expecting soup first and then a chicken dish). My veggie souvlaki was tasty, but the potatoes were not warm and seemed as if they had been sitting for a while. Dolmades as an appetizer were very good. Hopefully, when we go back, we will have better service. Very little attention paid to our needs this trip.

I had the Leg of Lamb and it was really delicious. This restaurant has a simple menu so it can focus on the selections and make really really good food. Nice selection too. Outside seating is perfect when the weather is nice.

We used to eat at Ziziki's fairly often but the last two times we went the food was not as good as before and it was very oily. This is sad to us because Dallas has a dearth of good Greek restaurants. I am not sure we will be back.

This was a great business lunch location with awesome service! The Ziziki bread and Lamb Gyro were both very good. This is a nice restaurant with good atmosphere. I look forward to another visit soon!

We had some sort of pita appetizer with melted cheese on it, dipping in ziziki sauce--SO good. I had a nice gyro. We all loved this place. Not cheap, but worth it. Nice atmosphere and decorations inside. Good wine list

This location is close to my office. Each time we bring on a new employee, I make sure to treat them to Ziziki's. The staff is always very attentive and the food is amazing! The Ziziki sauce is great on EVERYTHING! If you love greek food, you have to try this place.

This lovely restaurant in the Knox area of Dallas has high quality food, nice atmosphere, great service. There are some tables tucked away in a back room, if you want it extra quiet. Also, a bar area and window views of a nice courtyard. Prices are a bit high, but it's a very nice place.

This is a great neighborhood location for our freinds and family. Food was very good. But I have to say the Travis Walk location has better food. I frequent both restuarants enought that I can claim that this is a fair statement. However, it was our waiter that made the difference last night. Ask for Vinny if you dine there in the evenings. He is super attentive and very nice. He will make your dining experience that much better.

After an appointment late on a Friday afternoon that ran longer than expected, my husband and I found ourselves in an unfamiliar part of Dallas during the peak of rush hour traffic. We decided that killing time by satisfying our appetites would make the drive home bearable. We fired up the GPS looking for nearby restaurants and happened upon Ziziki's. We must have done something lately to please the gods because finding this gem was nothing short of divine intervention. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Ambiance could be considered comfortably romantic. However, to say the food was very good is simply not adequate. We experienced the best Greek food either of us has ever had the pleasure of tantalizing our taste buds with. Everything was delicious, but the particular standouts would be the flavorful pita bread served soft and fresh from the oven, the sauce served with the pastichio (Greek lasagna), and their version of hummus. Hummus made amazing by the use of artichoke hearts instead of the typical chickpeas. I challenge anyone to try Ziziki's spanakopita and still say they don't like spinach! Though completely stuffed, we celebrated our good fortune of finding Ziziki's by sharing a slice of their Baklava Ice Cream Cake. Oh. My. Goodness. Yes, it is that good. Despite the location being more than an hour away from where we live, we WILL return.

We had the hummus as an appetizer and it, as well as the pita, was delicious. I had the Greek salad and it was very good as well. We both had dessert - - tiramisu and chocolate mousse cake. I believe the menu and the dishes are authentic and the desserts were very good. It is a bit pricey, but for a treat I will return.

It's been many years since I visited Ziziki's and I'd forgotten how good it is. I had lunch with a friend and we both really enjoyed our food. I had the salmon skewers which were perfectly cooked and seasoned with a wonderful sauce. The roasted potatoes and gyro bread were wonderful as well as the hummus. It was truly a delicious meal! Service was also perfect, warm and attentive. Although my friend and I sat and visited for a couple of hours we never feel rushed or neglected. The restaurant is very attractively decorated and clean. I need to return soon!

We looked for a dinner place close to where we were staying and were happy to find Ziziki's. We were celebrating our 47th anniversary, and the hostess was very happy and congratulatory. It was early so we were seated right away and had a server who gave great suggestions for appetizers and main dish. The setting and ambiance was perfect for our meal. When we decided to share a sampler plate, they brought it out already plated for us. Their attention to good food and detail was obvious! We ordered the baklava ice cream cake for dessert; they brought it out with a candle to celebrate with us. We highly recommend Ziziki's and plan to return there soon!

our family favorite which has us driving the 50 mile round trip!! Recently we introduced new foodie friends to Ziziki's and they loved it!! Never have they failed to serve excellent delicious food and when the weather is nice patio dining is a must! Only critique--table was lopsided😕

Its been over a year since I have been here and knew it was good but good got better. Much Better. Started with Artichoke hummus and very good flavor. Had the Lamb Mediterranean salad. Lots of lam perfect amount of different greens, sauce , and spices - I will not wait another year or likely even 45 days.

This restaurants is in an outdoor strip mall but sits out in the parking lot area behind Bibbentuckers in the north part of Dallas off of Preston Rd. I thought the inside was decorated very nicely and felt European style when I walked in. Some of the tables sit very close European style so if that isn't your thing, just know that the tables are a bit close (the people sitting right next to us and not talking much had full reign on our conversation). We had a super friendly waiter and enjoyed the food - mine was a healthy appetizer and the lemon /chicken soup which was fantastic. I'll go back and try some different dishes. I think you'll like it. Prices were mid-range.

Ziziki's has a wonderful Greek salad with grilled lamb. They will prepare the grilled lamb any way you like: from rare to well done. Their salad dressing is also remarkable. We eat at Ziziki's (the Travis Street location) with friends a lot. There is a lovely outside area for seating: next to a fountain or under umbrellas. However, their wine list is limited. Red wine is served too warm. Their tap water tastes heavily of iron and sulphur, so I do not recommend anything to drink that does not come in a bottle. More often than not, their coffee is weak and their espresso machine is broken. The Greek salad with lamb is still worth going there for lunch or dinner. Also, you can call in an order and pick it up (something I frequently do). The Travis Street location has complimentary garage parking if you park your own car - be sure to inform the valet that you are eating at Ziziki or they will charge you for self parking. The Forest Lane location is also good, but lacks the outdoor seating and quirky atmosphere of the Travis location.

Had just 30 minutes for dinner with my wife before the nanny would go home after we got stuck in traffic. Had lamb souvlaki, calamari and Greek salad (the regular one, not the real lettuce-less version). Was particularly impressed with the flavor and tenderness of the lamb. The calamari were good but not amazing, however I may be exceedingly picky with the specific item. Salad was very good, the dressing very tasty. We had a glass of wine each, my wife had a moschofilero and I had a very good red but can't remember the exact name... Price was appropriate for the style but slightly on the high side. Would recommend for couples or small groups.

Had some really good Greek food here, came here for brunch. Not really typical brunch food but all the Greek food was delicious. Lots of food

My first visit was a true dining pleasure. Seated on the patio, served tasty authentic style Mediterranean fare by a courteous, competent waiter was an enjoyable experience.

One of us had the large grilled shrimp salad and the other had the large salmon salad. It wasn't clear from the menu, but the salads were identical except for which protein they had. This was a bit of a disappointment. We also had the hummus, which was good and was accompanied by excellently toasted pita wedges. However, $11 is high for hummus, and I don't think the salads were a good value at $17.50. Lunch was just so-so. The service was very friendly.

Ziziki's in Dallas is visited by us often, usually for lunch. My wife and daughter and I met there for a happy hour and dinner recently. It is very convenient to all of our workplaces. We had artichoke heart dip for an appetizer. That is my favorite. My wife had sea bass, my daughter had souvlaki, and I had paella, something I had not seen on the lunch menu. My daughter lived in Greece and exclaimed that the souvlaki was as good as she had there! They brought me my paella and I thought I made a mistake because surely it was for two people, not one. In addition the sausage was a sliced link. Included was a lamb chop! I was expecting my South Florida paella and this was not it. Regardless, I ate half and enjoyed it very much. There was more chicken in the paella than usual. I heartily recommend this meal and this restaurant. The restaurant is small and tucked away in a corner of a shopping center so there is not much ambience. Parking is an issue. But the prices are reasonable and the food is good.

Business dinner for 16; excellent service; excellent Greek inspired food; delightful décor. Could not fault it.

Sometimes Greek restaurants come with bad service, but Ziziki's has exceptional, friendly and very timely service. Their ziziki sauce and dolmas are delicious. And they are happy to cater to gluten-free community and note that they do not use soy sauce in the preparation of their meats. I highly recommend Ziziki's for a delicious and healthy meal!

I have eaten here several times and always enjoy my meal, particularly the lamb kebabs and the cucumber/yogurt salad. So good.

Nice place in a strip mall. Pleasant interior and good food. Started out with saganaki and both had lobster gyros - no really! Lobster gyros.

This is a very enjoyable restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Offers a brunch with a variety of items from smoked salmon to drunken mushrooms and other Mediterranean dishes. Brunch includes unlimited mimosas. Very nice for business meetings, dating, friends, family and eating alone. Free parking and clean restrooms. The hostess, Demetris, was very pleasant and informative about information on restaurant. Our server, Isaac was fast, efficient and genuinely polite. Lorelle greeted us with a smile finding a quaint suitable seating to suite out needs. She is so genuine and friendly. I highly recommend this place for Mediterranean lovers who enjoy quality food at a reasonable price. Brunch is 24.99 per person. You can book them on opentable also. ENJOY!!!

[COVID review] The lamb was delicious- I cannot recommend the sliced lamb salad HIGHLY enough. The lamb was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The lamb stuffed peppers also very tasty and paired nicely with some velvety mash potato and grilled asparagus. There a 3 specific reasons this place doesn't get 4 stars: 1) I thought the tzakiki dip was lack-luster. It tasted like it was made from mayonnaise and not Greek yogurt and the cucumber was sparse. 2) never in the history of Greek food or even "American Greek food" should pita bread have melted orange American cheese on it. 3) The patio is not COVID friendly. We chose this place for the patio bookings, we were early and I assumed they would keep some tables blocked- they did not. We had 3 tables surrounding us, all less than 6 feet apart (I had to squeeze past another diner's chair to get out). I understand there are no enforceable rules regarding patio dining, but when other restaurants are going to great lengths to be covid friendly, I think it's upsetting that this place clearly does not care much about their patrons. I could also hear other people arriving talking about their concerns with the close seating.

This was a business meeting and the service and food was excellent. Would certainly recommend. The lasagna was excellent.

gave a lmemorial luncheon for my brother for 20 people Jackie helped me with everything She is wonderful. They even printed a special menu for the luncheon wih a memorial to my brother. The food was waonderful. Service was great. Jackie attended to all our needs effortless. When we left everyone commented how great the food was and what a great time they had. This place is the BEST.

Fantastic Greek Food, traditional fare. Nice atmosphere - not like attending the Greek Food Festival in hot September. But the food is just as good at Ziziki's as it is at the Church.

For Texans who don't know any better but think spendy food must be good. Pita bread with melted cheddar cheese on top was the first bad sign. The tzatziki sauce was good, but eating it with the pizzafied pita bread reminded me of how some pizza chains include a dip. I ordered Pastichio. Instead of bechamel sauce on top it had a thin layer of chewy cheese, with a lot of pasta and some ground lamb beneath. A large helping but really boring. Thank goodness Dallas has tasty Greek restaurants like Kostas.

My partner and I enjoyed another great meal at Ziziki's, plus the added benefit of half-price bottle night (every Monday and Tuesday). Although the wine list isn't extensive, there are enough good choices to meet our needs. We enjoyed a La Crema Pinot Noir which, at half price, was a bargain! We thoroughly enjoyed an appetizer of artichoke dip but substituted sliced cucumbers instead of pita (trying to lower our carbs intake even though we love the pita slices here). It's a great move and the artichoke dip was delish! For the main entree, I ordered the Lamb Burger which was prepared perfectly at medium, and oh so tasty! The roasted potatoes were crispy and seasoned wonderfully.

First time to Ziziki, and a great first experience. We were seated promptly, and reviewed the menu. Great choices, the souvlaki was well-prepared and just the right size. The moussaka was a surprise, best ever. Priced reasonably as well.

I haven't been to Ziziki's in a while, but did for a lunch meeting. The Ziziki's on Preston and Forest is easy to park to go. We arrived on the early side and had the place to ourselves. The service is good (definitely get the extra side of Ziziki sauce). Lamb plates are good. I like the salad because it seems to almost be the same, but has some extra veggies. While nothing really matched food in Greece (or Greek diners in Connecticut), Ziziki's is a good spot for Greek food.

I enjoy the fresh produce and fish at Zizikis. I like their mousaka. Their atmosphere is nice and I don't remember seeing any children there.

I have never eaten at a Greek restaurant before, and for my first time, it was DELISH. I had the chicken souvlaki. Their Ziziki sauce was some type of cucumber sauce. I loved this place.

This was my first time at the restaurant and it was a pleasant experience. The location in a strip mall is not attractive so the view from the patio or out the many windows is parking lot and store fronts, not the Greek Isles. The food lives up to expectations with a good variety of dishes. This is a place with a lot of lamb on the menu but there are veggie, fish and chicken dishes for non-lamb lovers. Portions are substantial but not overly large. Service is friendly and efficient. We had made reservations for 7 on a Saturday night but the restaurant was busy but not crowded. Pricing is in the mid range for a weekend dinner. There is an extensive wine list featuring as many Italian and non-Greek wines as Greek.

Excellent service, delicious food. In all my visits over the past 10 years we’d never had their weekend brunch. Today we did. It was very good and offered an enticing variety of dishes. If you haven’t tried Zizikis you should.

This is a great place to catch a quick lunch or dinner. The food and service are good. Parking is easy. Not as nice of an atmosphere as their Knox Village location.

I had the rack of lamb for lunch. The meat was soft and everything was so tasty! Plus, no problem whatsoever with the staff and the service. I'll definitely go there again!

Went for lunch and enjoyed the meal. Four of us shared the trio of dips. For entrees, two salads, the pastichio and the calamari. All well received. Very good service and a decent wine list n

Mid-afternoon lunch with daughter. Service excellent; food not so much Much prefer Greek Isle at Preston-Royal. We had lemon soup, dolmas, hummus, souflaki and baklava.

Had lunch for two. Very good food and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered one off the menu and off the lunch menu as well. I highly recommend this place.

Great food, good hostess and friendly service. Just noticed 2 things I don't like to see in my restaurant. When ready to leave a server past by twice and seeing the credit card out did not help or mention it to our server. Went to pay at the bar and saw my server on her phone and not staying where she could see her tables. Happy, or disappointed that others have the same issues I deal with at my place. She still got 18% but it could and should have been 25%!

We love Ziziki's for its fabulous food and fun ambiance. It's one of our favorite places to sit at the bar for a glass of wine while noshing on the best appetizers. Love the Ziziki bread and that great smell fills the air around Travis Walk. The chicken wire style tile floor reminds us of little hole in the wall gems throughout NYC. The Greek salad with lamb is fantastic.

Dip trio had amazing grilled pita along with fabulous artichoke hummus, eggplant dip (more like caponata than baba ganoush), and another dip that seemed to have feta and roasted red pepper. We followed that with souvlaki and subbed the grilled veggies & the salad for the potatoes that come on the side. No room for dessert. Good service. We'll be back for dinner.

I visited this restaurant two days in a row for work lunches. On the plus side, the service was excellent. However, this is hardly the "best Greek restaurant in Dallas." Though the food is fine, the menu is limited for lunch, and what they have is pricey. The only lunch under $12 is a plate of vegetables for $11. When my colleague and I asked for baklava, they apparently didn't have any (what Greek restaurant doesn't have baklava on demand??) and the server brought us a slice of "baklava ice cream cake." A slice of rock hard vanilla ice cream with baklava crumbles. It would have been nice to know this is how they define "baklava" before he prepared it. Had we known this is what we would receive, we would not have ordered it. Go to Zoe's for the same portion size at half the price, or go to Cafe Istanbul for more food at the same price, with REAL baklava! You could also go to Stratos for atmosphere plus great food. This is NOT Dallas' "best" Greek restaurant.

My dad, sister and I ate here last night in their small groups dining room. Gretchen was very, very sweet and welcoming! I LOVED the veggie souvlaki- the vegetables were good portion and very fresh. The baklava ice cream cake was incredible!!!! WOW! If it weren't so hot, would have been lovely to enjoy the beautiful patio outside. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Dallas.

Friday I had the opportunity to eat lunch at Ziziki's with a friend. I had not eaten there before, so I really did not know what to expect. I had a lamb salad that was incredible. The lamb is free range Australian lamb that is tender and didn't have the "greasiness" that a lot of lamb has. Their house sauce is also very tasty and goes very well with the lamb. Our server was polite and attentive, without being obtrusive, and management was also "working the floor" checking on service and food quality (that is something that doesn't happen much any more). The prices were great for the quality of food served. It will definitely be an add to my regular list of haunts in the future. For those of you who are "bar freaks", the Preston Forest location where I ate has a beautiful hand carved bar back that is worth seeing.

Mother's Day Brunch is a yearly affair here at this small bistro on Travis. The food was great as usual--lamb, shrimp, chicken and much more along with delicious eggs and pancakes and the famous Ziziki's bread and dip.. The cinnamon coffee is so smooth (if you can get a cup). The service staff seemed scattered and more concerned about serving bills instead of providing attentive table service, though. I believe they were over booked and the management wanted tables turned quickly!!!
Clean, healthy eating
I haven't eaten here in probably 12 years. Met the boyfriend for lunch and we enjoyed the trio of dips with pita bread. Quite a lot of dip and more pita when requested. They even served sliced cucumber to dip as well. Almost a meal. I cannot eat bell pepper so I couldnt eat the spicy roasted pepper dip. The spinach and feta was ok, I really liked the artichoke hummus. He enjoyed a lamb gyro with roasted potatos and I had veggie skewers on a pita. So I have to basically disassemble my food before I can eat it and cut up the veggies as well since they are so large. Not something you could eat on a first date or a lunch meeting. My hands were covered in juices from the veggies and the ziziki sauce the entire time. I have to admit Greek food is not my favorite and I do not partake often. Mainly b/c I like more heat to my food and they are more meat centered and I was not in the mood for fish. It was lunch and they weren't that crowded but they sat everyone in the same two areas and it was kind of loud in my little area. I would go back if I was asked. It was a pricey lunch, over $40.
