What an incredible restaurant with amazing flavors; terrific service; cute setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will come again.

Ziziki's has been at the Travis Walk location for a long time - it's an institution. The food is great and the service is professional and personable. What sets Ziziki's apart is the fact that it is tucked away in the Travis Walk area and the patio is a rare find in Dallas. The patio does not overlook a parking lot or a side street. It is quiet, it is intimate, it is perfect. The menu has a good variety of selections. So for those diners who may be particular there are items that could more fairly be described as Southern European, e.g. pasta. Enjoy!

Ziziki's has once again proven it's always good :-) we enjoyed the keftedes and spanakopita appetizers. For the main course we had the salmon and a lamb souvlaki. They did charge and extra $3 to substitute veggies which really sucks and is the reason they only got 4 and not 5 stars. Restaurants that nickel and dime too much loose larger opportunities later. I've used them in the past to cater and to host an event. I actually will reconsider that in the future. But, I will say the food is good.

If you like Greek food (real Greek food - not just Gyros) in any way, you should really check this place out. It was tucked in courtyard, so you might need to park and actually walk to see it. The food is very fresh and authentic - down to the feta, olives and Greek Salad. Very reasonable prices $10-$25. I had the Greek god's platter which had 3 of the entrees and was great. Service was excellent. It's about 3 miles north of Downtown in a cool neighborhood.

Bruch at this time is pre-fix, mass produced, cold, bland, trays of food, but not good food, and $37.50 per person with a bad bottle of bubbles and orange juice. Didn't eat most of what came out as it was so sub-par. Chicken and lamb skewers were hard and dry. I understand the attempt at a covid economy concept, and it seems like your getting a lot, but quality was really inferior. Their dinners used to be excellent, will give them another shot but not at brunch until this concept runs its course. Staff was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I went to Ziziki's for weekday lunch while on vacation in DFW area. We used to live in DFW area and this was one of our go to restaurants. We never went during the week for lunch and really enjoyed our experience. Lunch specific menu is nice - we shared artichoke hummus, Ziziki Bread (yum) and chicken skewers which they split into different plates for us. Wine was half price for bottle - very nice. Service was excellent. Highly recommend and they have great Sunday brunch.

Miguel is the best host ever! Extremely accommodating for a party of 12 and our Christmas party. Great food, service and atmosphere. Consider this 12 reviews - one from each person in our party!

I have been a big fan of Ziziki's in past years, so I was very excited to dine here after a long absence. Wow - was I disappointed! I ordered the gyros sandwich and and a salad. The salad was very nice - just what I remembered. The accompanying Ziziki sauce as salad dressing was delicious - as I had remembered. The gyros was terrible: extremely greasy. The cook had taken little shavings and bits of lamb and DEEP FRIED it! The accompanying roasted potatoes were also deep fried. Is that how they cook everything now? Just toss it in the fryer? And the gyros was $17.50! It is the highest price I have ever paid for the worst gyros I have ever had. Not good. The server was pleasant and warm - that aspect was good. I was very disappointed in this visit.

Very good Greek food. Nice place. Patio in courtyard in nice weather. Really good, high end Souvlaki and Gyros. Don't miss the Pastichio (Greek lasagna)!

What an excellent brunch today! My wife and I have been here several times before but today we had Mimosa's and split a Gyro (watch calories) and it was the BEST and lamb was delish!. The buffet looked aweosome too. The Manager (didn't catch his name) was so friendly, personable, and acommodating it was well above expectations!! Highly recommend.

We had the most delicious brunch, excellent service, and really good value at our recent visit to Ziziki’s on Travis! Our group included Greek lovers and those that were a little less enthused and there was excellent variety and ample choices for everyone. The crowd favorite was the bottomless champagne or mimosa which added to our enjoyment of brunch. This was our first visit for brunch but we can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend that you check it out!

The Brunch Buffet and mimosas were delicious ! Nice, casual interior with comfortable table size for four.

Tripsters I have been coming here for years and I can't remember if I have reviewed it or not. Ziziki's has been a staple on the Travis Walk for 10+ years. One visit here and it's apparent why they are so successful. Everything from the wine list, the food and the service is on point. This is and will continue to be one of my favorites in the Big D!! Be you a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just a fellow foodie, come to Ziziki's for great nibbles and hospitality!! P.S. No meal is complete without an order of Ziziki bread. ;-)

We are on vacation in Dallas and picked-up takeout from Ziziki’s. What a wonderful place! Great food and friendly service in a cool neighborhood. From 3 years old to 60, everyone in the family loved the food and that is a challenge to pull off. If you find yourself in Dallas, eat here.

It's hard not to order the gyro with potatoes. They are both fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy, and there's a beautiful patio. Great service.

I have been to Ziziki's 3-4 times. Their food is good. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant space in the main eating area is extremely tight. The noise level is very loud. The service the last time we went was very poor. Most of the time, we watched the staff chatting with each other or looking at their cellphones. For this reason, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Love the food. Love the service. Love the atmosphere. We love it so much we had our dinner there with family the night before we got married. Great separate room for parties. Not a huge room which we did not need as this was both our second marriages and we just had our immediate family there. That was 11 years ago and we are STILL married. Maybe Zizikis gave us some good luck!

Excellent food and the prices were reasonable. We had Gyros and Moussaka and both were very good! The potatoes that come with the Gyros are delicious and the tzatziki sauce was exceptional. In addition the wait staff was prompt and courteous. Decor and atmosphere were nice and modern. Parking is free if you get there early.

Every time we visit Dallas; eating at Ziziki's is a must. Sit in the bar/kitchen area and enjoy the aroma of Greek seasonings. The atmosphere and service is very good, but the food is excellent. Start with the Trio platter and then enjoy the Paella plate. A good wine selection is offered with reasonable pricing. It's Greek, so inside may be a noisy for some (outside seating is available). Enjoy!

My meet up group met there for a Sunday brunch ($24.00). They all had the endless food and drink buffet, but I opted for the Doldma (their spelling) plate ($8.00). Everyone raved about the food on the buffet. I enjoyed the dolma plate, which consisted of 5 or 6 dolmas, 4 thick lengthwise slices of cucumber, 4 cherry tomatoes, and 4 Kalmata olives. My plate was more than enough for me to eat, as the portions are very generous. They also bring plates of toasted pita w/a cheese topping and adzuki sauce. The service was good, and the atmosphere pleasant. They also have a very nice patio, but it is too hot today to sit outside.

It seems like most brunch buffets around Dallas are same old thing or some type of TexMex. Ziziki's was an excellent suggestion one Sunday morning by my wife. Awesome selection of Mediterranean/Greek food along with bottomless mimosas or champagne. We will definitely go back and I highly suggest giving Ziziki's a try if you are looking for something a little out of the norm for brunch.

Dinner at Zizikis Travis Walk was wonderful, as usual. I love this restaurant...it is a real "go to". We ate in the back room, and at first it was very hot. We asked the server to lower the air and she did..Our Server was attentive and had a lot of information when we needed it. I will go back. I LOVE their patio in nice weather.

Went to Ziziki's on Travis for Sunday brunch during a warm spell in late December. The staff was very accommodating, and we sat outside in a beautiful patio. The food was incredible, especially the salmon. Gluten free options abounded, and as one of our crew had an allergy, this option was well appreciated. Bottomless mimosas were an unexpected treat (although they did seem to slow down the rest of my day). It is hard to find a better option for meeting friends on a Sunday afternoon.

Tucked away on Travis street is this wonderful Greek gem the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The grilled calamari was the best I have had. I also had a Greek white wine that was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is fine but wildly overpriced. It's hard to justify an $18 gyro.

We had gyros meat but it wasn't real gyros. Dips were ok but tzatziki has to be made with strained Greek yogurt like fage. Moussaka didn't have a taste of eggplants inside. Keftedes tasty but Greek ones are fried with a lot of crust from flour outside. Desserts were ok not so Greek. Even the baklava was layered with ice cream but my suggestion was to serve ice cream on the side. Good environment seating outside.

Arrived late in the evening. Curbside parking was not available, the garage parking was fine for my extended cab f150 truck. The classic Mediterranean style permeated the theme and elegant decor of the restaurant with dark wood trim and white table linens with wax paper topping them. Each table had a tea light seated on lentils adding to the charm of the decor. The entrées we're phenomenal. The best lamb I have had in a long time. The restaurant is not too big or too small. It also has a bar and the option to dine outside as well. Overall a great cozy place with fantastic food.

I had not been here for several years, no real reason other than I am busy trying lots of new and different restaurants in Dallas. It has not changed much if at all. Still serves high end food. It's a bit pricey in my opinion but that's Highland Park. I really wanted to order a lamb gyro but it was $18 and I am not paying that much for a gyro. So I compromised and ordered something else. My alternative was the chicken gyro that was really good, liked it a lot. Very filling and tasty ($13). The wife ordered the lamb burger ($15) and instructed me to say that it lacked seasoning. Needed salt or something, so it was rather flat. She said Hopdoddy has a much better lamb burger. We started with the artichoke hummus that was good but a rather small portion for $11. Service was attentive. The restaurant is clean and upscale. I hope I don't wait so long to return next time.

Stood there for quite some time and no one acknowledged my presence so I waited a while longer while waitresses passed me by without asking me whether I wanted to be seated or not. I just left since no one seemed to care to get my business.

Yum! Ok. Just go. Get the trio of dips appetizer, good Mousaka, great spanopikta, delicious Greek salad with lamb. This place rates really highly on my list!!!

We have always been a fan of Ziziki's and have been here many times over the past 15 years. Went for Mother's Day dinner and it was just horrible. The sea bass my husband got had so much salt on it that neither one of us could eat it. Waitress saw that it was untouched and didn't even offer to take off bill. A good, upscale restaurant would automatically do that. Also, the moussaka was on the other end pretty bland and flavorless, not very hot when it came out, so strange. Service was horrible, waitress always off doing something else, didn't clear plates, took forever to bring coffee, took forever to bring bill. Really bummed because I have never had a bad experience there till now. Also, when we arrive for our reservation, there are a TON of open tables in the front room and she wants to seat us in the back very hot room in a corner. Why would you do that? Asked to change tables and she was fine with doing that for us but why wouldn't you seat us out front when there were so many tables available. The Cosmo was the best part of the dinner.

I love this place. When I lived in Dallas, I was a regular. So nice to go back for the Chicken Souvlaki. The environment and staff are always good and consistent. I missed seeing Chelsea (The best waiter!), but it was still great. I'll be back next June.

Arguably the best restaurant in the US, the food as well as the service was great. We forgot our Credit Card and the owner send it to our address with no charge. Great experience when you eat great, superb service and helpfulness from all the staff.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening. The outdoor tables were full so we ate inside. Very nice. Good atmosphere. We ordered a glass of wine upon seating. It took a good while for the drinks to arrive. We were in no hurry, but neither was our waitstaff. The menu is heavy on lamb (which I do not eat). We ordered a spinach in phyllo for appetizer. It was very good and not large. My wife ordered a shrimp dish which was very good. There were two fish dishes on the menu. I ordered the sea bass. Later the waitstaff informed me they were out of sea bass. So -- I ordered to other option - salmon. It was well prepared and very tasty. However the risotto was fantastic. Add a side of well prepared asparagus & the dinner was quite nice. We will return.

Ziziki's has stood the test of time! Some of the best Greek food in Dallas and in an elegant atmosphere, inside and out.

We frequent both locations of Ziziki's close to where we live - Preston/Forest and Travis Walk. We tend to favor the Travis Walk location for its consistency in food quality and service. We enjoy both inside and outside dining at this location. And there is a nice wine selection by the glass if you prefer not to order a full bottle. Always quick and friendly service. You are never rushed through your meal. Look forward to continuing to eat here time and time again!

Dined here with a group of 7 recently. Was a really good experience --- Was the first time I'd been to Ziziki's. They have a nice wine list --- lots of good options --- at prices comparable to other places in the area. For starters, we did the ziziki bread and the hummus --- both were good, but it would have been nice if the server had given us a little more direction on how much we might want to order for the size of the group. Had we known they were kinda small, we would have probably ordered more. I had the stuffed lamb loin with orzo. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of lamb but when most of the group ordered it, I figured why not! It was great, and I'd go back again!

Great place for families or dates. The atmosphere is wonderful outside and nice indoors. Service and food quality are consistently good and prices are not too high. Park under the building (enter off Travis and exit onto Armstrong) if you can't find street parking.

Very intimate, Greek food is superb. We went with friends to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. Service was wonderful. Lovely atmosphere. Very special evening.

Charming long narrow European interior, with blown glass artwork in cubbyholes in the plaster walls. Beautiful wood bar reminds me of French restaurants in NYC. Small; intimate. Attentive service. Started with a shared appetizer of warm pita with cheese and herbs and the tzaziki sauce. There were two of us and we left two slices on the plate. Although already full, my friend was served her Greek salad which was huge, fresh, with a wonderful soft feta. She couldn't finish it. I had ordered 2 small appetizers (instead of an entree) which were so large I thought they had mistakenly served me the large size appetizer! But no. Spanikopta was just right....the spinach creamy and nicely spiced and with the right balance of feta between flaky flaky pastry layers....with a large side of olives, cucumbers, roasted cherry tomatoes, greens, The other small appetizer was the dolmades, some of which I shared with my friend...also same large serving of veggies and olives on the side and a dish of tzaziki sauce. I ended up with enough take home for two more meals! Too full for their decadent desserts, we decided to walk and shop on Knox; Gretchen kindly put my to go container in the refrigerator until we came back for dessert.Upon returning, we both ordered the vanilla bean ice cream baklava...heavenly. Want to feel transported without leaving the Metroplex? Then go to this restaurant!

A delightful neighborhood restaurant with many authentic Greek dishes. The bagels and lox were therefore a surprise on the Sunday buffet, but clearly popular with the clientele.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Dallas area. We have probably tried every dish on the menu over the years and each and every one has been outstanding. Our most recent visit was on Saturday, January 5th for dinner and the food was excellent as usual. The stuffed lamb loin and greek paella are favorites. The greek salad is superb. The service is also excellent.

Love their food and wine selection. Also their location. Sitting outside is nice, however inside the table next to you is pretty much with yours. No such a thing as a private conversation as the tables are crumpled up on each other.

Our family met at this wonderful restaurant for a family celebration and we were not disappointed. From the champagne and wine choices to the wonderful Greek appetizers and varied entrees, everyone was very pleased. And the wonderful wait staff went so far out of their way to make our celebration so wonderful. And the deserts were to die for. It is such a wonderful place to celebrate.

Tucked away against scores of upscale ethnic restos, place matches up to its rep. Will never be famous, but if you're local and like Greek, that's a good thing. The salads are superb despite the fact they don't bother to de-pit the olives (personal pet peeve). Not a drop-everything-to-try kind of joint, but certainly solid and probably dependable

I love to meet my husband here for lunch! The food is great, service is great and if you can't find parking, valet is right out front!!

We had a great meal starting with their artichoke hummus. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic and, from the taste of it, I believe their pasta is fresh and made in-house. They accept reservations. I will definitely visit again when I go back to Dallas.

Excellent cozy restaurant serving Greek food. We love to sit at the bar! Nice patio also which is always busy! They have a peach martini I crave !! I always get the salmon souvlaki and substitute the salad for the potatoes. My husband gets the chicken souvlaki and it is awesome also. Service is always great!

Had a very good lunch with very good service in a good looking small restaurant. I would go back next time I'm in the area.

Overpriced, mediocre, under seasoned food across the board! 11 guests and a variety of food ordered… ALL guests dissatisfied! Add into over priced, I ordered ginger beers x 3 and was charged $4 per refill!! Absolutely disgusting!! It’s 90% water with syrup! Wife and I spent $170 inc tip and tax… My money will NEVER be spent at your establishments again… as my Father would say…”Expensive Cheap Effers!!”

We've been here for brunch a couple times and the quality of the food is consistently good. The lamb and marinated shrimp are excellent. They are very generous with the Mimosas, we had four refills. Be sure to partake of the Greek specialties offered. Only issue is parking - it can be hard to find a spot.

You can count on very good food at Ziziki's. Service was uncharacteristically spotty when I was there in August, 2019, but their computers were down that day. Overall, Ziziki's is a solid bet for wonderful Mediterranean. Be prepared to park in a garage next door - and to enjoy a lovely experience.

Wonderful hidden Greek Restaurant!! My favorite is the salmon souvlakia and the Greek salad is delicious !! Fun bar too serving up pretty and yummy drinks!!

I go more to the Travis Walk location than the Preston Forest location. The reason is very simple. Management can't get good help at PF. Many times in the past my wife and would have the hostess attempt to seat us in a corner next to two large groups with small children running completely unattended. What was puzzling we passed many empty tables to get to that corner. When we asked to be seated elsewhere, she became very irritated. OK, enough about PF. Now about Travis Walk. They have great service and attentive hostesses. The wine is delivered quickly and our food comes out timely , but not hurried. We always start with Ziziki bread. This a round platter of bread with their famous Ziziki sauce. Perfect to start. I get many times the lamb burger open faced, (too much bread). They are too quick to please there. The burger is presented with roasted potatoes and a salad.

My fiancé and I decided to try Ziziki’s for our Valentine’s Day romantic dinner. On February 3 we placed a reservation through their website and reviewed the menu. We were satisfied with the selection and price which was around $15.00 per person. After being seated we were handed a “Valentine’s Dinner” menu showing seven (7) preselected items at $50.00 PER PERSON. That is a 233% markup which in retail jargon translates to Bait-and-switch! At no time during the automated reservation process were we advised that this would be the only menu option available. This “special” menu is hidden in the website’s “special events” section which does state the regular dinner menu would not be offered. I feel sorry for anyone who was pressured to endure this crap to impress their date. Thank God my fiancé is not a gold digger so we took our business to another restaurant. Read the fine print – Buyer Beware!

Nine of us celebrated Father's Day at this wonderful restaurant enjoying unending Mimosas and all the food one would care to eat. There was plenty of choices for everyone including tradition Greek lamb, beef, and chicken plus so many vegan choices to please everyone. i was more than pleased at the service as it was surprisingly attentive for a buffet style meal. Considering all that comes with the Sunday Brunch I thought the price is a steal.

We dined on a Friday night. A reservation is suggested. We had a light to medium appetite so we shared appetizers. This is not a wheel chair or stroller friendly restaurant. I suggest you ask to be seated in the back room if it is busy and you want to have a conversation. I am Greek and I would suggest the Dolmathes were good. The SPANAKOPITA had way too much pepper; however, the Greek oregano was perfect. The Kefedthes, were good but the tomato sauce was not only a surprise but flavorless. They should hold the sauce and serve with Taztziki. We then had the pita bread with cheese which was like eating a slice of pizza. The baklava was good and the I like the homemade syrup. I will give this another try. I am sure the main dishes are good. They have a nice selection of wine and the pricing is medium high for the value.

Love there brunch and of course the champagne . Great place to meet friends and have a good time. You pay one price and can have all you want. I always get too much from the meats to the made to order egg station.

We've been going to Ziziki"s for years and have always loved their food. They always have a quality menu and it very seldom varies. It is a friendly place and seems so cozy and inviting. It has a good bar and a wide variety of good wines. We don't live in the area, but seem to be drawn to go back, anytime we visit Dallas and in the McKinney Avenue neighborhood. If you like Greek food, you can't go wrong here.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Very flavorful. A little hard to find, but worth it. Beet and Feta Salad was delicious, too.

So many restaurants have come and gone on this street, but Ziziki's has outlasted them all. No wonder. I almost always get the lamb souvlaki here and it never disappoints. No matter how many people I've brought here over the years, I've never had anyone leave disappointed. It's a little more pricier than the Greek ethnic restaurants in the Greek neighborhoods of some of America's major cities, but Dallas has nothing comparable to that so Ziziki's is it for us. That's o.k., I like it better than most of those places in the other cities anyway. I'll give up the belly dancing I can't get for the consistently excellent food I do get.

Are you kidding me! This was excellent. Service could not have been more attentive and could not have been friendlier. As for the food? Beyond compare. Some of the best Mediterranean fare I have ever had. Including in Greece!

This cute little restaurant, tucked into a bustling restaurant area, is one of my favorite spots for Sunday brunch. It's a Greek restaurant, so they have some wonderful, traditional Greek favorites: Baba Ganoush, dolmas, Spanakopita and Baklava. Plus, mini bagels with lox, capers and soft cheese. Yum! Plus, Poinsettias, Mimosas, and coffee are included in the brunch price! Super yum! They have soft, moist eggs, fluffy sweet pancakes, lamb meatballs and kabobs, and they'll make you an omelet, to order! I try to make it in as often as I can. Be sure to come hungry, because it's all you care to eat!

An amazing Greek restaurant, in Travis Walk, with its own relaxing patio. From fresh dolmades, to amazing salads with chicken, salmon or lamb, this is a easy spot to eat healthy. They also have a range of Souvlakis and specialty dishes, with a nice wine list. Consider the Baklava Ice Cream Cake, as it is the perfect dessert for a celebration! Glenn Almac

Absolutely love Zizikis but recently had our first brunch. It was fabulous. We arrived later in the service BUT you can request for something to be made fresh. Example. They were out of chicken we asked for more and it was made fresh. The ziziki sauce is FABULOUS.

Sunday lunch. Our first time at Ziziki's won't be our last. We all got the skewers and were not disappointed. Salmon, lamb, chicken, and vegetables were all perfectly prepared. Service was very attentive, and they even gave us complimentary baklava bites to top of the meal. There is valet parking, but just to the left is the entrance to the free underground parking that's just a two-minute walk to Ziziki's entrance.

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Everything is incredibly fresh. In all the years I have been dinning at Ziziki's, they have never once come close to disappointing me. The food is always consistent. Their Sunday brunch is not to be missed!! It is an excellent value. Especially, if you enjoy mimosas/champagne. Which are included in the price for brunch.

Attended a luncheon there so they had us in a back separate room. Very nice - room had it's only bathroom facilities. Service was top notch. Food was exceptional - I had the Ahi Tuna Mediterranean Salad. A unique offering - nice variety to the standard Lamb and Chicken (which they offered as well). A nice place for a business or family dining experience. Expensive of course because of the location.

Great place for good Greek food. Staff was a little distracted but food was excellent! Decent selection of wine but not extensive.

I have been eating at Ziziki since the 1990s and have never had a bad meal. Try the lamb salad, and be sure to save room for dessert. The baklava ice cream pie is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

This place never ceases to amaze me and fills my desire for incredible Greek cuisine. My sister and I sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed a blackberry and basil cocktail. We never go without getting the Spanakopita and the fried Calamari, which were satisfying to the taste buds. Then we had the lamb lollipops, which are lamb chops grilled to perfection (i.e. medium) along with pita bread covered in cheese.........so yummy. . My favorite part of the meal, always, is their tzatziki sauce. Everything tastes better when paired with this sauce. It's so fresh, cool, and creamy. Love, love, love this place!!!

A 130pm lunch with few patrons in the place should have been easy. Unfortunately the servers were busy visiting with a couple at one of the tables. When you have to ask for everything including a refill of your tea it is frustrating. The food is amazing. But the inconsistent service is very disappointing. I did finally ask who was my server as I never saw the same person. Again. Great food. Awful service.

What a pleasant surprise! Went here for dinner prior to a horse drawn carriage ride through Highland Park to look at Christmas lights - this was great start to our evening. My husband sent comments to the chef that he had really hit it out of the park!! In our opinion - this is THE #1 spot in Dallas for Greek food! Everything was perfect - really - not a single complaint! The calamari and ziziki bread were great starters - the wine our server suggested was just the perfect blend for the meal. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and I had the lamb souvlaki - both were done to perfection - blend of flavors was excellent - you could tell the chef knew how to cook. We shared a house salad - asked for them to leave off the Feta and dressing and had them bring the Mint Vinaigrette dressing instead - WOW! The salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing made for a perfect compliment for our lamb dishes. Coffee and tiramasu finished off the meal. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed without a lot of noise. Excellent server - attentive but not intrusive. We will be back!!! Parking provided in the garage underneath Travis Walk. Just perfect!!!!

Ziziki's offers one of the better Sunday brunch experiences in Dallas. The food is very good and the champagne/mimosas are bottomless. Sitting in their lovely courtyard by the fountain is a great way to spend your Sunday!

This a great small Greek restaurant ! A hidden gem tucked off of Travis street! It has a great bar and a romantic feel! Their Sunkiss martini is my favorite drink! I always get the salmon souvlaki and sub a Greek salad for the potato. It is delicious ! In nice weather they have a patio and also a room for s large party. Love this spot !

When we visit my daughter and her husband in Dallas, we always eat ONE NIGHT at Zizikis. They order often from Zizikis, but we like to dine in. We dined at Zizikis Dec. 21, 2011. We like the fact that we do not have to scream for service. BUT, the attention could be toned down enough for us to enjoy the meal and togetherness. The calamari was better a year ago. I am not certain what has happened, but it seems quite different. ALSO, I don't want to dine in a white hot bright room. But, it is a tad too dark at the tables. A tad bit more od lighting would be perfect.

We visited on a Tuesday evening without a reservation and were seated without any problems. We ordered a variety of cocktails and drinks. Although out of their signature cocktails, they didn't have the thyme to make the gin cocktail, which was a shame! We shared two portions of the Ziziki bread, which was very tasty. Then we all ordered different varieties of the souvlaki, which came with a large side of potatoes. The meat was yummy and nicely cooked. I had the lamb, which was cooked to medium well. It may have been tastier if it was cooked medium but it was still good and very enjoyable. The service was friendly and prices very reasonable. I liked the atmosphere, it was a good mix of couples and friends. Would happily go back again.

Eating here several times for lunch and dinner since January, for business, family and social friends. It's got a relaxing feel. They also have a private party area. Weekend brunch buffet is a great deal. Couple of appetizer dishes we really like. The only thing I feel not perfect is, the lamb is cooked not tender, a bit too hard. Service is great!

WE visited Zizikis May 9, 2013. We took our one year old granddaughter. The food was excellent. I ordered the Ziziki salad with lamb. The calamari was much much better than the last time we ate at Zizikis. I think the last time must have just been a bad night for calamari....because this was the Calamari we remembered. Good Greek restaurant. Our waiter this time was a little inattentive, but we survived.

I went for my first time and both my date and I had a great experience -- a long relaxed meal -- no one ever pressured us to ... order the next course, leave afterwards or anything else. I could see going here a lot if I lived closer. Walking in, it is pretty, relaxed and -- easy. Easy to park, easy to find, welcoming all without trying too hard. First up was a trio of dips with gluten free pita bread (the chef was happy to oblige my gluten free diet!) and veggies for dipping. The dips were each very different one from another, which made sharing samples with my date fun. The best was a spicy hitipi. Next up was a seafood salad with grilled salmon and jumbo shrimp each on its own skewer. The menu did not have a salad with both salmon and shrimp -- again, they were happy to make it the way we wanted it with no questions or follow up. The jumbo shrimp were large, fresh and full of grilled flavorful (of course without a hint of added "smoke" or other nasty stuff). This dish reminded me of how much difference there is between everyday "shrimp" and really good shrimp. These were the latter for sure. Salmon was served as nice square chunks, not overcooked. The two dressings provided (at our request) were perfect... not overwhelming the various flavors in the large fresh salad. Finally, chocolate gelato and coffee ended a really nice, memorable evening. My date had pretty much the same thing and neither she nor I left anything on any plate! She had wine and mentioned that the wine list was a good one, not overwhelming, but full of good options. Again, it seems like a place that makes eating a nice meal at a nice place... easy -- and I mean that as a total compliment. I hate stuffy and pretentious places and menus and... people?? Haha. Note that I am a "no meat" guy as well as being gluten free in my diet and this menu offered lots of options, which is rare. And I found there to be a willingness to accommodate our wishes about dishes without any questions or weirdness -- refreshing.

Excellent service . Delightful food the portions were generous, enough to share. A very pleasant atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable.

My husband and I have been going to Ziziki"s for years and love their food. They always have a quality menu that seldom varies. The artichoke hummus is delicious. The lamb gyros are our favorite. Gretchen has been our waitress many times and is excellent.

I love this place. Great consistent food, great staff, great location, great ambiance. What is not to like. When I lived in Dallas I went here at least once a week.

They charged us $13 to split a starter greek salad. Even the relatively good food couldn't make up for that.

Smallish restaurant. Service was very good, food was wonderful. Really enjoyed my grape leaves. A nice variety of dishes and sampler platters for all spice levels.

Went for brunch with friends. $45 each for 5 courses including mimosas. Food was fresh and delicious! Our server Carlos was attentive and friendly. Sat outside and stayed for a couple of hours. Highly recommend and will go back !

We showed up and my wife was starving. It was still 30 minutes until the kitchen opened; however the waiter said he could get us some of their ziziki bread (like a little pizza) on the house and some wine if we wanted to wait. So glad we did. The bread was great, a must try for anyone. We were seated in the outside patio area, next to a fountain. Great atmosphere and then the food topped it off. Spectacular, best Greek food we have had.

Worst part of our five day vacation! We ate here the day after Christmas for thier buffet way over priced and way over rated! The food was terrible the greek salad was lacking lots of flavor the only thing I really liked was getting out of the car (we had been driving for 4 hours). The service was awful!!!! The worst service ever! We kept asking the staff to bring us our bill it took them thirty miniutes to finally bring our bill out! The waitress was never around to bring us more water. Never come here unless you want to be disapointed!

I love Greek food and this place blew us away! We had the best lamb gyro, not the ground lamb and beef blend but fresh lamb chunks, crispy and tender, on flat bread with the fixings. We ordered it with their Ziziki's salad and it was delicious! Roberto, our amazing waiter, recommended a white wine that went beautifully with our meal. The place is small but with quite a refined atmosphere, a must try if you're in the Knox-Henderson area!!

I'm not a big Mediterranean food fan... so it wasn't bad! =P

This is my go-to place for Greek food. Outstanding. Saturday and Sunday brunch is especially good. Nice variety of freshly prepared food. Try the goat cheese cakes for an appetizer. I have had almost everything on the menu at one time or another with no disappointments. The Travis Street locations has tables outside in lovely courtyard-style setting. There is also a separate room available for private parties. Highly recommend.

I do not live in Dallas, but make a point to go to Ziziki's every time I am in town. Everything we have ordered at this restaurant has been amazing. Greek food is not always my 1st choice, but I have loved everything I have tried at Ziziki's. Pita appetizers, salads, main dishes have great flavors, and we liked the spices on the roasted potatoes so much, we purchased some to take home with us. Try this restaurant, you will love the food!

Lovely Sunday brunch outing - although we hadn't realized Sunday menu options were limited to the brunch buffet. At $22/pp, it was well worth it, with plenty of wonderful foods to choose from, and unlimited mimosas (as well as coffee, tea, orange juice and champagne. We sat outside in the shaded patio, and enjoyed a lovely, lovely, leisurely lunch. Would add one caution only - if your brunch appetite is for more breakfast-y things, you'll be left wanting. The breakfast items were scrambled eggs, pancakes and bagels with lox and the appropriate fixings. So go with lunch in mind and you'll be quite happily sated.

I went with 3 couples on a weekend night and was treated to some of the best food I have ever had. I had the lamb souvlaki and it was wonderful. I loved the onion salad side dish. If I am in Dallas, Ziziki's is my first choice. Reservations are recommended and the have a very lively bar.

always very good

I love this restaurant! My sister was visiting and I love taking guests from out of town to this location. The food, atmosphere and drinks are incredible. The lamb is delicious; I had their version of gyros and my boyfriend had rack of lamb, which he generously let me try a bite of. My sister is a little particular but told me she thought her chicken fettucine Alfredo was even better than she expected.
Greek food to remember
A lovely evening under the stars with great Greek food. Everything was lovely, the food, location and service. Jason was great, attentive and had good recommendation... would definitely return.
