As a must-check destination on the travel list, Jiuzhaigou has always been a place I have been longing for, and I finally have the opportunity to experience this natural treasure-level landscape scenic spot firsthand.
For this trip to Jiuzhai, we chose to stay at Hotel Indigo Jiuzhai in Zhongchagou. As the first stop of the itinerary, I have to say that the unique regional design of this hotel is refreshing and ignited my enthusiasm for exploring Tibetan and Qiang culture.

The hotel design is designed by CCD, a well-known design company in Hong Kong, with "Condor" as the main line, and all corners are full of Xiangba, Qiang embroidery, yak, The unique Tibetan art of living elements such as the fire pond extend guests' understanding and imagination of the local culture.
The design team cleverly integrates modernity, and the unique lighting makes the three-story spiral staircase three-dimensional, precise and fashionable. A rare Internet celebrity check-in point has been created for the hotel.
A number of chic outdoor courtyards, distributed on different floors of the hotel, the courtyard is "Zang· Cang) theme room, decorated with traditional Qiang fabric embroidery and Aba Tibetan unique thangka paintings, the overall warm color design makes people feel natural and warm, and you can immerse yourself in Tibetan and Qiang culture when you open the door.
Whether it is the catering or the details of the hotel, it fully expresses the effort it has put into integrating regional characteristics, and skillfully combines the portrayal of Tibetan and Qiang ethnic life with modern design space. Walking out of the intangible cultural heritage museum, we found more interesting Tibetan culture in the town - the Tibetan paper shop "Manxiu Tibetan Paper" and the Tibetan incense shop "Kalachakra Zangxiang", If you are interested, you can also try the production of Tibetan paper and Tibetan incense to deeply experience the inheritance of these crafts.
Distinctive Tibetan cultural elements can be seen everywhere in the town, including the Tibetan white pagoda in the square, the prayer flags hanging high in the block, and the locals dressed in Tibetan costumes...... What's more worth mentioning is that there are also brand stores such as KFC, Starbucks, and Watsons in the town, making the town well compatible with regional culture and modern atmosphere.
The cultural visit of Meilihui Town is still fresh in people's memories, especially the immersive characteristic cultural experience. After returning to the hotel, I found that many cultural elements can be imprinted with the design of the hotel, and I am even more impressed by the hotel's intentions in design.
It takes about 15 minutes by car from the hotel to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and you will be overwhelmed by beautiful scenery: Colorful Pond, Nuorilang Waterfall, Mirror Sea, Changhai, Shuzheng Sea...... God seems to have overturned the color palette in Jiuzhai, and "Jiuzhai does not look at the water when he returns" is indeed worthy of its name!
The natural beauty of "Jiuzhai Paradise" is immersive, and the photos frozen in the camera cannot interpret her beauty, and you must come to the scene to experience it to know what a wonderland on earth is. Although I was reluctant to give up during my stay, and looking back on this trip with a rare characteristic Tibetan and Qiang cultural experience, the natural and humanistic experience has been harvested, and this trip to Jiuzhai can be described as no regrets.
