Entertainment Recommendations in Daocheng Yading

Daocheng Yading is a relatively underdeveloped tourist destination with limited entertainment options, the most famous of which is the Rubuchaka Hot Springs. However, Daocheng County itself offers numerous taverns and cafes with Tibetan characteristics for leisure and entertainment.

Yubu Chaka Hot Springs

Located 3 km southeast of Daocheng County, Rubuchaka Hot Springs means "Friends' Spring" in Khampa culture. The water, typically at 68°C at its outlet, is clear, odorless, and drinkable. The facilities are simple: a row of open-air wooden houses, each protected by a wooden roof. Looking up, you can gaze upon the blue sky and snow-capped mountains, brimming with natural charm. Each room is approximately 4 square meters, with a small square tiled pool on the floor. Two people can sit side by side on the steps, the warm water barely reaching their necks. No swimsuit is required for soaking in the hot springs, as the door opens to a private space. Enjoy a free and unfettered connection with nature, unfettered by any constraints.

Transportation: A round-trip taxi costs 25 yuan. We recommend walking along the Post Office toward the primary school. You will see a sign. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Rubuchaka Village. You can also rent a bicycle from several mountain resorts in Daocheng County, such as Pengsongcuo and Xibore.

Yading Kawameiduo Inn Coffee House

Kawa Meiduo means "snowflake" in Tibetan. This coffee shop has a very beautiful courtyard. The bright flowers complement the brick walls of the Tibetan houses. The second floor is a very romantic coffee shop. In addition to the regular drinks, ghee, tea and yogurt, it also provides various board games.
