Qingcheng bacon is a traditional local delicacy prepared during the Lunar New Year, slowly smoked over a wood stove. The essence of bacon is the fat, followed by the skin, the lean meat, and the bones. Whether steamed or stir-fried, the bacon is incredibly fragrant. The authentic bacon sold on the market today may not be very authentic, so it's best to buy it from local villagers, such as those in the mountains behind Qingcheng.

Longmenshan Mountain, Highwater, and Hongyang are more traditional brands. Kiwifruit comes in red, yellow, and green core varieties, all of which are sweet, sour, juicy, and nutritious, making them very beneficial for the digestive system. They typically enter the market in October and are readily available at any market, typically priced between 6 and 10 yuan per kilo. Green-core kiwifruit are cheaper, while red and yellow-core varieties are slightly more expensive, but they tend to be sweeter.
This precious Chinese medicinal herb is unique to China, known for its benefits of promoting qi circulation, dispelling stagnation, clearing dampness, and relieving asthma. Currently, the bark of Magnolia officinalis (Magnolia officinalis) in its native region generally sells for around 10 yuan, while the bark of its branches sells for 5-6 yuan. If you have elderly family members, consider bringing some home. Hongkou Township, known as the "Hometown of Magnolia Officinalis," produces high-quality Magnolia officinalis.
Rujiu, the most famous of Qingcheng's four unique delicacies, boasts a 1,200-year history. Made with kiwi fruit, it boasts a sweet and sour fruity aroma, a low alcohol content, and is very beneficial for health. It's sold in supermarkets and specialty shops, with prices ranging from a few dozen yuan to over a hundred, depending on the size of the package.
South Street, a commercial street dating back to the Qing Dynasty, runs from the south side of East Street in the north to the north end of South Bridge in the south. It connects Guanxian Ancient City with the Dujiangyan Scenic Area. Nestled among this cluster of antique buildings are numerous shops, many featuring ethnic clothing, bronzeware shops, tobacco shops, halal restaurants, and snack shops, offering a wide variety of local specialties and products.
