Now that you're at the beach, you can't miss out on strolling on the sand, collecting shells, and trying some water sports. Holiday Beach is recommended, with its wide, clean coastal promenade, perfect for strolling and enjoying the breeze. Xixiu Beach and Guilinyang are also worth a visit.

Prices of sea sports activities:
Take Holiday Beach as an example
Motorboat (100 yuan/10 minutes),
Speedboat (200 yuan/10 minutes, can take 5 people),
Parasailing (100 yuan/time).

Dad's Tea

As the name suggests, "Laobaba" tea shops are places where parents gather for tea. The "Laobaba" tea shops dotted throughout Haikou's streets and alleys offer a perfect glimpse into local life. The teas served here range from standard green and black teas to homemade chrysanthemum and jasmine teas. Prices range from 1-2 yuan per cup, or 5 yuan per pot. Besides tea, they also offer a variety of snacks, including coffee, eggs, qingbuliang (a traditional Chinese soup with broccoli), quail eggs and white fungus, fried cassava rice crackers, fried dough sticks, and mixed pig's blood.

"Dad" tea shops are often found in the small streets and alleys of the old city, such as Deshengsha on Qilou Old Street. The shops are simply decorated, and most of the tea drinkers sitting around the tea stools don't know each other, but if they get along, they sit together to drink, chat, and relax, killing time. The shop owners are also very friendly, and even tea drinkers who order a cup of tea for only 1 yuan will receive attentive service from early morning to late afternoon.

Despite their small size, they all offer a unique subtropical atmosphere.
