In the morning, we will visit the Dongzhaigang Mangrove National Nature Reserve, known as the "Forest on the Sea". This is the first mangrove reserve in my country. In addition to seeing the mangroves distributed on the shallow coast, you can also see the world's geological wonder "Underwater Village" and watch a variety of birds.
At noon, you can enjoy an authentic seafood feast at the seafood restaurant in the Mangrove Scenic Area. The seafood here is particularly pure, and the blood clams, oysters, prawns, blue crabs, and blood eels are the best.
In the afternoon, we'll explore the Hainan Tropical Wildlife and Botanical Garden, known as "Dongshan Lake, a paradise of birdsong and fragrance." Enjoy a relaxing forest bathing experience while interacting with the charming and clever animals, truly experiencing the harmonious harmony of "harmony between man and nature."
After leaving the Tropical Wildlife Park, head south to the Leiqiong Haikou Volcanic Group, where you'll find a diverse array of volcanic types, rich lava landscapes, and breathtaking lava tunnels – truly a rare spectacle. The fusion of 10,000-year-old volcanoes, millennia-old volcanic culture, and tropical ecological landscapes will leave you in awe of nature's unparalleled craftsmanship!

In the morning, we visited Qiongtai Academy and gazed at the renowned Kuixing Tower. Its green tiles, red corridors, and white walls create a unique brick-and-wood structure with distinct ethnic characteristics, exuding a scholarly atmosphere and a sense of tranquility. Inside, the building boasts exquisitely carved beams and painted rafters, while the front is shaded by green trees, creating a beautiful and tranquil environment.
After leaving Qiongtai Academy, you can drive or stroll to Hainan's most iconic cultural monument: the Five Lords Temple. Known as the "First Building of Hainan," it's the oldest building in Hainan and embodies the history and vicissitudes of Haikou. For a more intimate experience of Haikou's history, a visit to the Five Lords Temple is a must. For a more in-depth look at Haikou's history, don't miss the Hainan Provincial Museum, where historical artifacts and authentic scenes vividly recreate the daily lives of the people of Qiongya throughout history.
At noon, you can taste local specialties near the Wugong Temple: Four Treasures Qiongshan Tofu, Hainan Four Treasures Crab Claws, Hainan Vegetarian Pot, Green Lobster Autumn, Hainan Coconut Milk Chicken, etc. There are all kinds of delicious food for you to choose from.
In the afternoon, drive to the century-old arcade-style Old Street, steeped in the Nanyang style. Strolling the streets is like traveling back in time. Along Deshengsha Road, Xinhua South Road, Zhongshan Road, Boai Road, and Jiefang Road, the buildings are adorned with elegant and detailed sculptures and Western-style decorations, evoking a once prosperous era. Besides admiring the architecture, there are also many time-honored Haikou snacks available here, perfect for enjoying while you stroll or taking home as a lovely gift for family and friends.
After exiting the century-old street, the next stop is the solemn and ancient Hai Rui Cemetery. Along the way, you can unwind, take a break from the hustle and bustle, and pay tribute to the ancient sage and appreciate the cultural relics.
After leaving Hai Rui's Tomb, you can fully relax and embark on another cultural feast: Impressions of Hainan Island. The "Impressions of Hainan Island" theater, inspired by the rare marine creature sea urchin, is China's first bionic theater. The design seamlessly blends beach and sea, creating a romantic experience where sea and sky merge, and emotions connect, offering a novel and natural visual extension. At night, the theater also features a vibrant fireworks display. Against the backdrop of a dreamy stage and a romantic night sky, the waves and fireworks on the outer beach illuminate the dazzling night sky, along with the "Impressions of Hainan Island" performance.

Take a leisurely morning stroll around Xinbu Island. Beyond Cable Island, the best part is, you can browse the seafood stalls here! You can enjoy fresh seafood from the boat or buy freshly caught seafood. There are also seafood shops that process seafood to your liking, so you can prepare the food to your taste.
Not far away is Haidian Island, a culinary island boasting a dazzling array of local specialties. Enjoy a wide variety of cuisines, including barbecue, Sichuan cuisine, Northeastern cuisine, Anhui cuisine, Mongolian cuisine, Xinjiang cuisine, and Taipei Soy Milk King. After a satisfying meal, it's time to think about what to do. Don't hesitate, head straight to Holiday Beach, where the sun is drenched, the coconut trees are lush, and the sea meets the sky. The beach is divided into a sunbathing area, a marine sports area, a marine dining and cultural area, and a leisure resort area, creating a colorful and elegant coastal wonderland. Slow down and reconnect with nature—it's the ideal place to relax and unwind. Of course, a culinary adventure is essential, and beach barbecues are a must-do for any holiday getaway. Every weekend, groups gather on Holiday Beach, enjoying their homemade barbecues. Food stalls are available in the seafood dining and cultural area, and barbecue pits are rented for 50 yuan each.

Day 1: After breakfast, we'll head to the Haikou Volcano Cluster Geopark, a geological relic of graben-rift-type basic volcanic activity and one of China's few dormant volcanoes. The crater and basalt plateau host a diverse ecosystem, characterized by tropical rainforests. The natural and volcanic landscape blend seamlessly, making it a truly remarkable experience. At noon, we'll enjoy the famous Shishan Braised Lamb.
After lunch, we'll continue south to the Hainan Tropical Wildlife and Botanical Garden near Dongshan Town, where we'll enjoy a glimpse of Hainan's quintessential tropical rainforest and encounter adorable animals. We'll then continue south for about an hour to Qionghai City, where we'll have dinner and overnight in the city or Boao Town.
You can choose to have lunch near the crater scenic area or bring your own food. For dinner, you can choose a restaurant in Qionghai City or Boao Town.
D2: After breakfast, go to the restaurant at the Boao Permanent Site. Boao is the permanent site of the famous international conference organization → "Asia Forum".
Go to the Boao Oceanarium, where you can admire the country's largest three-dimensional tropical aquatic plant viewing tank and aquatic plant and animal species unique to tropical rainforests, the country's most complete variety of South China Sea corals, and a specimen of a short-finned pilot whale stranded on Boao Beach.
After lunch, we spent a pleasant afternoon at Yudai Beach, with sunshine, sand and coast, the vast expanse of the South China Sea on the outside, and the Wanquan River and Shamei Inland Sea on the inside, the lakes and mountains, the inside and outside complement each other, forming a fantastic landscape.
It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Boao to Sanya. You can choose to set off after dinner, or have dinner after arranging accommodation in Sanya.
For lunch, you can choose a restaurant near the aquarium or go to Yudai Beach. For dinner, you can have it at Yudai Beach or after arriving in Sanya, depending on your itinerary.
D3: After breakfast, drive to Wuzhizhou Island to experience the blue sea and sky, fine sand and coconut breeze in the morning.
After lunch, we will go to Yalong Bay Tropical Forest Park. While enjoying the tropical forest landscape, we can also carry out various tourism activities according to our own preferences, such as mountain climbing adventure, wilderness development, leisure sightseeing, health vacation, science education, folk culture experience, etc.
In the afternoon, enjoy the white and soft sand and crystal clear water at Yalong Bay, known as the "No. 1 Bay in the World", and watch the sunset on the beach.
D4: After breakfast, go to Dadonghai, bathe in the soft sunshine on the beach, pick up shells, dig crabs and build sand towers on the beach.
Afterwards, we'll visit Luhuitou Park to experience the beautiful and moving love legend, admire the Sanya City Sculpture and the tallest sculpture on Hainan Island, "Luhuitou," and then explore Sanya Bay Seaside Park and the adjacent Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area and Nanshan Sea Goddess of Mercy.
Afterwards, we'll visit Nanshan Scenic Area and explore Nanshan Temple and other surrounding attractions. We'll then drive to Wuzhishan City, a drive that takes approximately 1.5 hours. After dinner, we recommend driving directly to accommodations near the Wuzhishan Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area.
For lunch, we recommend the Nanshan Temple Yuanqilou vegetarian restaurant, which offers a buffet of 10 to 20 unique "temple vegetarian" dishes, all made with soy products and vegetables. For dinner, you can choose a restaurant in Wuzhishan City.
D5: After breakfast, we will depart for Wuzhi Mountain Tropical Rainforest to appreciate the rainforest scenery and the unique landforms of Wuzhi Mountain.
Drive back to Haikou City around 5 pm, which takes about 2-3 hours, and ends your island tour.
