Shopping Recommendations in Qingcheng Mountain

Qingcheng Mountain Town is not a popular shopping destination and lacks large shopping malls. It is mainly composed of local specialty stores and small shops, most of which are concentrated in Tai'an Ancient Town and around the scenic area. Many farmhouses in the back mountains of Qingcheng also sell local specialties such as pickles and bacon. If you like, you can buy them from local villagers, which are relatively authentic.

Old bacon

Qingcheng bacon is a traditional local delicacy prepared during the Lunar New Year. The best parts of bacon are the fat, skin, lean meat, and bones. Whether steamed or stir-fried, the bacon is incredibly fragrant. While the authentic bacon sold on the market today may not be entirely genuine, it's best to buy it from local farmers, such as those in the farmhouses behind Qingcheng Mountain or in villages like Hongkou and Longchi.

Dongtian Milk Wine

Rujiu, the most famous of Qingcheng's four unique delicacies, boasts a 1,200-year history. Made with kiwi fruit, it boasts a sweet and sour fruity aroma, a low alcohol content, and is very beneficial for health. It's sold in supermarkets and specialty shops, with prices ranging from a few dozen yuan to over a hundred, depending on the size of the package.
