Yuxi is rich in geothermal resources, and the hot springs in Huaning County are the most famous. Huaning County has five geothermal areas: Xiangbi Hot Spring, Qinglong Yadan Village, Tonghongdian, Panxi Warm Water Pond, and Lude River. The Yingyuetan Leisure Culture Center comprises the Yingyuetan Hot Springs, the Yingyuetan Water Center, the Yingyue Hot Spring Inn, the Sakya Cultural Garden, the Old Neighborhood Restaurant, and the Yuquan Temple. It integrates hot spring culture, gratitude culture, Buddhism, traditional ethnic culture, regional culture, and ecological culture. With "cultivating the body and mind" as its core, it allows visitors to achieve spiritual and mental upliftment in a tranquil environment. Enjoying the scenery, dining, tasting tea, and soaking in the hot springs are the main leisure activities here.

The hot springs of Elephant Trunk Hill, flowing from Elephant Trunk Ridge, are rich in beneficial trace elements and can be enjoyed year-round, offering therapeutic benefits for a wide range of ailments. The scenic area, comprising Elephant Trunk Hot Spring, Golden Lock Bridge, Fire Dragon Temple, Cuiping Mountain, Elephant Trunk Ridge, and a resort, offers a unique blend of scenic views, hot spring bathing, recuperation, and entertainment. However, the fees for hot spring bathing are relatively high, with showers and hot springs charged by the hour, and varying rates depending on the hot spring room. Alternatively, there are numerous hot spring hotels at the foot of Elephant Trunk Hill, offering much lower prices than those located further up the hill. On the way to Elephant Trunk Hill, you'll find many locals selling tangerines. Huaxi tangerines are renowned, so consider buying some to try.

The ecological park has a large water sports field and indoor hot springs, as well as a large children's amusement park, grass sliding field, football field, basketball court, etc. Water is the biggest feature here. It has adult swimming pools, children's paddling pools, fish therapy pools, dry steam and wet steam rooms, etc., as well as functional hot spring pools of various sizes. It is a very popular leisure place among locals.

Yuanyang Hot Spring is the most famous hot spring in Tonghongdian. Originally known as Huolongquan, it was named after the presence of hot and cold springs in the same location. A stream flows just outside the hot springs, offering sweet, clear, and drinkable water. Locals call it Yuanyang Mineral Water. After soaking in the hot springs, you can visit the nearby Mobo Chong Village. At an altitude of 2,440 meters, Mobo Chong Village is the highest natural village in Huaning. Its picturesque scenery and unique rock formations have earned it the nickname "Little Stone Forest" and "Huaning's Shangri-La." However, Tonghongdian is relatively remote, making it ideal for self-driving.
