Glass plank bridge with full sea view

全海景玻璃栈桥

The panoramic seaview glass plank road, located atop Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, reaches a peak of 450 meters above sea level, making it China's first such walkway. Built around the world's largest natural Maitreya Stone Buddha, the 400-meter-long plank road, 10 meters at its widest point, is constructed from 130 tons of ultra-clear imported laminated glass. The walkway features scenic spots such as the Sky Platform, the Colorful Ladder, the Lotus Buddha Platform, the Rainbow Road, the Mountain Vow, and the Heart-to-Heart Connection. The entire plank road is paved entirely with 3m*3m ultra-large single-piece transparent glass. Walking along the plank road, one can gaze up at the vast, clear sky, look down at the rainforest valley over a hundred meters deep, and gaze out over the vast expanse of Yalong Bay, known as "the world's finest seascape." While the thrill of the moment is palpable, the experience is also captivating.

Introduction

  • Attraction Location: "海南省 (Hainan Province), coastal scenic area (exact bay or seaside location varies by project; confirm locally)"

  • Overview: The 全海景玻璃栈桥 is a modern seaside attraction where visitors can walk on a transparent glass bridge that extends out into the ocean. It combines thrilling experiences with panoramic ocean views, making it a popular photo spot and leisure site for both families and young travelers.
  • History: Glass bridges became a trend in China during the late 2010s, initially popular in mountain resorts. Hainan adapted this concept by creating a sea-view version — blending the thrill of walking on glass with the island’s coastal scenery.
  • Architecture: Built with reinforced steel frames and multilayer tempered glass, the bridge is cantilevered over the sea. It typically includes observation decks, glass-bottom walkways, and sometimes entertainment features such as VR experiences or light shows at night.
  • Cultural Value: While the structure itself is modern, it reflects Hainan’s evolving tourism culture: blending natural resources (the ocean and coastline) with engineered adventure experiences. It symbolizes how Hainan markets itself as both a natural paradise and a modern entertainment hub.
  • Other Info: The bridge often has restrictions (e.g., weight limit, no sharp shoes, children accompanied). Visitors usually wear protective shoe covers to avoid scratching the glass.

The sea view of the full sea view glass plank bridge is super invincible, but the height is very average. If you have been to other glass planks before, it is not recommended to buy a separate ticket here. If it is your first time to experience the glass plank bridge or if the resort guests can visit it for free once, you can still go for a visit.

【Basic information of the glass plank bridge】

The full-sea view glass plank bridge is located at the entrance of the mountaintop park. Its highest point is 450 meters above sea level, its total length is 400 meters, and its widest point is 10 meters. It is made of 130 tons of ultra-clear imported laminated glass. It includes scenic spots such as the Sky Platform, the Colorful Ladder, the Colorful Lotus Observation Deck, the Rainbow Road, the Mountain Vow and the Heart-to-Heart Connection.

Opening hours: 09:00-18:00

Ticket price: 98 yuan/person, children under 1.2 meters are free of charge, children over 1.2 meters (inclusive) are charged adult tickets. People with high blood pressure, heart disease, pregnant women, fear of heights, people over 70 years old, drunken people or people with adverse reactions are not allowed to experience this experience.

For those who are on a day trip, if you arrive early, it is best to visit the glass plank bridge first to enjoy a high-quality experience with fewer people, and then go to the mountaintop commercial street to have a cold drink, take a rest, and visit other attractions.

We got our tickets at the ticket office at 09:00 with our Bird's Nest Resort room card and card case. After entering, we found there were only two other tourists inside. And then there were only four of us on the entire glass plank bridge. We could walk however we wanted, even if we were afraid of not being able to take the first step. There was no one behind us to rush us, and we didn't have to worry about being laughed at.

🌟TIPS:

1. Remember to wear uniform shoe covers before going up the glass plank bridge.

2. When on the glass plank bridge, do not face southeast (i.e., the front left when facing the sea), and do not fly drones! This is indicated on the official website, and there will be announcements and signage on site.

3. If you are afraid of heights, you can first step on the steel bars and walk forward. After a while, you will not be so afraid.

4. There is really no shade on the glass plank bridge, so you must bring a sun hat and sunscreen!

5. Guests staying at Yalong Bay Earthly Paradise - Bird's Nest Resort can experience the glass plank bridge once for free with their room card and room card holder.

This is one of the filming locations for the movie "If You Are the One":

Here, you'll find the iconic Big Buddha Rock Panoramic Glass Plank Road, a popular check-in spot. Here, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the sea and sky. This is Yalong Bay Forest Park, a tropical paradise.

There is a rainbow staircase as soon as you enter.

Suitable for taking cute photos, remember to add beautiful poses,

Walking on the plank road facing the endless blue sea, admiring the lush rainforest scenery, the air is also very fresh.

In addition to Rainbow Road,

There are many exquisite designs.

The Lingkong Terrace, the Colorful Ladder to Heaven, the Lotus Picking and Buddha Viewing Terrace, the Vows of Love and Heart-to-Heart Connection, appear to be extremely suitable for couples.

My favorite is the seafood in Sanya!

Come to Sanya,

How can I miss the seafood that I have been craving for? Sister Lin’s Fragrant Seafood has received rave reviews online. I must experience it myself when I pass by here this time.

The scenery is great, the off-season is very good, not many people, but it's a pity that I brought my children and couldn't take beautiful photos, 5555555555

If you want to experience the glass plank road, you can wait until you enter the scenic area and reach the top of the mountain and then purchase it separately. It is highly recommended to experience it.

The Sanya Yalong Bay Glass Plank Road is located in the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, with the highest point at an altitude of 450 meters.

It is really beautiful to stand on the glass plank road and see the panoramic view of Yalong Bay, which is also the capital that allows it to have a place among the glass planks in the country.

I heard it was the filming location for If You Are the One, so I came to check it out. Upon entering the park, I boarded the scenic electric car. The ride up the mountain, through several sharp 90° turns, was incredibly thrilling, and the driver didn't even bother to slow down. It was like riding a roller coaster, incredibly thrilling. Once we got off the car, we reached the top of the mountain, offering a breathtaking view of Yalong Bay. The scenery was breathtaking, with both the mountains and the sea. A word of caution: if you're caught in a crowded photo opportunity, you can go down to the mountain to take pictures beneath the dragon playing with a pearl sculpture. It's less crowded there, as most tour groups are on the tower, so it's quite crowded. We didn't take the electric car down the mountain, but walked the entire way down, passing Orchid Valley, Butterfly Valley, Stonehenge, and the cable bridge. We saw many stunning views along the way. While the hike was strenuous, it was well worth it.

The glass plank road's observation deck offers panoramic views of Yalong Bay. Walking along the plank road, you'll be surrounded by lush vegetation and greeted by the turquoise blue of Yalong Bay. The buildings of the Bird's Nest Resort are scattered among the trees on the nearby mountaintops, while white clouds drift over the peaks, creating a breathtaking and refreshing scene. The exit of the glass plank road leads to the wedding room and church, one of the main filming locations for the movie "If You Are the One."

It was scary looking down from a high place, but I bravely walked over to the lovely steps. They were so beautiful, with green trees all around and a view of the sea.

I finally got around to visiting the glass plank road. I'd seen other people post about it on social media and had always wanted to go, so I went this weekend. Honestly, it's a really nice attraction, with stunning views of Yalong Bay. I was a little scared when I first went up there, but I'll definitely recommend it to friends who visit in the future.

It feels quite shocking. You can overlook the entire Yalong Bay, with mountains and trees, and the sea and fog in the distance. It is very beautiful and worth a visit. However, there are too many people and the waiting time is quite long.
