After having breakfast at the Western restaurant of the Bird's Nest Resort, we took the resort's special shuttle bus to the Dragon Cable Bridge at 08:15. We were very lucky as there were no other tourists when we arrived. We had almost the entire bridge to ourselves, from going up to going down. We had a lot of fun taking posed shots, tracking shots, panoramic shots, and videos. It was perfect!

TIPS：

If you take pictures halfway through, the people behind you will wait patiently and will not rush you. There are staff at the bridge head to take pictures for you, and you can choose whether to buy the photos. It is recommended to walk on this cable bridge. After all, it is quite famous and fun.

I finally felt what it was like to be shoulder to shoulder, haha. The bridge didn't collapse even with so many people crossing it, the ropes must be really strong!

After crossing the bridge, we found the big banyan tree at the entrance. We walked up the stone steps on the mountain (called Lover's Road) to return to the entrance. Fortunately, there were not many tourists staying here in the morning, so we were able to take pictures freely.

It was free when I came here in 2011, but due to the popularity of the movie, it is now charged at 20 yuan. I decided not to go this time, as the free viewing platform next to it is much better than this one! The bridge is crowded, and the viewing platform not only allows you to see the entire bridge, but also the Bird's Nest on the opposite side and Yalong Bay in the distance.

Someone reported that the bridge deck was loose, so they immediately closed the bridge for inspection and reopened it after confirming that there were no safety hazards. The bridge is narrow, one person wide, and one-way. The bridge is relatively stable. Those who are afraid of heights can still pass easily by looking straight ahead instead of looking under the bridge. It is not scary.

However, you should be careful about wind speed when walking on this bridge. It is not open on windy days.

The suspension bridge is a paid item, which is included in the scenic spot ticket package. There is a constant flow of people passing through the suspension bridge, so you don't even have time to stop and take a good photo. If you want to experience the suspension bridge like a movie scene, you still have to stay at the Bird's Nest Hotel, so that you can quietly take some movie-like photos early in the morning when the suspension bridge is not open to the public.
