The Sanya Phoenix Ridge Sea Oath Mountain Scenic Area is located in the heart of Sanya City. It is the highest peak in the city center and the only location where you can have a panoramic view of Sanya’s four major bays (Sanya Bay, Xiaodonghai, Yulin Bay, and Yalong Bay) and a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the entire city.
The scenic area has introduced the world's most advanced Austrian cableway, known as the Rolls-Royce of cableways. It is the largest and most scenic aerial cableway in southern China. The cable car rises slowly, giving you a panoramic view of the entire city. It is known as Asia's best cableway for viewing the sea and the city.
The scenic area has love-themed landscapes such as the Sea Vow Stone Monument, Ruying Pavilion, Hand-Handing Platform, Yuelao Spring, Lovers Tree, and Crystal Temple. It is known as the southernmost love sanctuary on the Chinese continental shelf and is also known as the Holy Mountain of Love at 18° north latitude.

👍The trip to Phoenix Ridge was especially great.
🌘It was late in the evening and there were almost no people in the scenic area. Even at the most popular Crystal Temple, there were not many people taking wedding photos. My favorite was the four bends and eight views at the other end, which overlooked the whole of Sanya from all angles.
This is a great vantage point for capturing sunsets from a commanding height. With few tourists, you can practically have the platform to yourself if you choose a good spot. With Sanya city in the foreground and the sunset glowing in the background, it's a picture-perfect composition.
The only downside is that the platform is made of wood, which is prone to vibration. You need to remain absolutely still when the shutter is open. If a tourist happens to walk by and you open the door for 10 seconds, then you're doomed.
❗I recommend taking the cable car to the summit an hour before sunset. First, take photos of the Crystal Hall of Love, then head west to find a photo spot and settle down. Bring water and insect repellent, as mosquitoes are quite numerous and venomous in the mountains; a single bite can last for days. There are many cats on the mountain, so bring a 200mm telephoto lens to play with them.
Come to see the sunset, remember this place! It is grand and less crowded.
Rich in vegetation, it is known as the lungs of Tibet. The Crystal Church is a great place for photos!
The Bird's Nest Hotel is very unique. Guests staying in the hotel can enjoy free sightseeing buses within the scenic area and rest in the designated rest area.
I thought I could go hiking in Phoenix Ridge, but when I got there I found out I had to take a cable car up the mountain. When I got to the top of the mountain, I found it was a very nice place to see the scenery.
I checked China-TravelNote's travel guide and found that the cable car here is very famous, being Asia's most luxurious and advanced cable car for ocean views. We took it all the way to the top, reaching Sanya's highest point. The ride took about ten minutes. As the cable car slowly climbed up Phoenix Ridge, the city of Sanya and Sanya Bay unfolded like a picture scroll, offering a breathtaking view.
There are fewer people in June, it is cool and not tiring. You can see the South China Sea Guanyin from afar. The whole city of Sanya is very beautiful.
Phoenix Ridge is truly stunning, but it seems to be a relatively off-the-beaten-path attraction. It wasn't crowded the day we went, perhaps because we were among the first visitors. The glass church at the top of the mountain is truly captivating. We happened to meet a couple getting married that day, and following our photographer, we took a shortcut to the church, only to stumble upon a beautiful flower path. I imagine only photographers who regularly photograph couples there could find that path. It's a truly amazing attraction, definitely worth a visit!
Phoenix Ridge is the highest peak in Sanya city and the only place in the city where you can have a panoramic view of several bays in Sanya. Sitting in the cable car to see Phoenix Ridge, with birds singing and flowers blooming, it is a unique experience!
This place is more suitable for couples to visit. It is recommended to join a tour group. It will be more interesting to listen to the explanations. They will explain folk legends, myths and the like to you. Otherwise, in scenic spots like this, if you see too much pure scenery, you will feel that it is the same.
Rolls-Royce fish head in-laws day me me me me
Enjoy a 360-degree bird's-eye view of Sanya from the perfect spot. Along the way, you'll find lush trees, century-old vines, and towering banyan trees. The drive from Forest Park to Phoenix Ridge takes just over half an hour, and admission is 88 yuan per person.
It's a new attraction with a cable car. When you reach the top you can overlook the scenery of Sanya Bay, which is very nice.
I highly recommend it. Standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the scenery of Sanya and enjoying the breeze with the smell of sea water caressing your face is so comfortable. Sanya is extremely hot in August, but the top of Phoenix Ridge is very cool.
Jingmei has good air and great lighting for photography! Climbing up and enjoying the scenery is refreshing.
After lunch, we arrived at Phoenix Ridge. The sun was shining brightly. We took the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain. Maybe because it was noon, there were not many people there. We headed towards the legendary wedding photography base! From the rooftop of Phoenix Ridge, you can take in the beautiful scenery of Sanya city. The sea and the sky are one color. It is spectacular.
The Crystal Church lived up to its reputation. The all-glass building sparkled in the sunlight. On the platform, many couples took wedding photos, leaving behind the most beautiful testimony of their happiness.
The scenery is nice, the cable car time is quite long, there are not too many people, and the transportation is a bit inconvenient. You can take a taxi.
Lovers, come quickly, make vows to accompany you for life
OK, it looks okay. But it's inconvenient to take the elderly up there.
There are many spots for taking photos, including a glass viewing platform and a beautiful white church.
This is a place that no one goes to. The other reviews are all fake. There is only one place where you can see the sea, which is not good. The rest are just woods. It's too boring.
It is a good place to take wedding photos. People come here every day. You might accidentally take some wild photos.
Because it was off-season, there were few visitors except for wedding photographers. The weather was perfect, allowing me to take in the stunning scenery and pose for my own. Walking through a flower-lined corridor, I arrived at the Crystal Temple, where wedding photographers were already waiting in line. The handsome security guard explained that wedding photographers pay a fee to take photos here, and that tourists could only take photos when the dresses were sold out. My husband persuaded the security guard to give us two minutes to enter and take photos, but we actually only had one minute.
It's really beautiful and not many people. Tickets are cheap.
The scenic area isn't huge, unlike other crowded areas. It's quite quiet. You can take the cable car straight up the mountain, and the ecological environment is quite good! There's a long corridor lined with bougainvillea along the way, perfect for taking photos. But be sure to bring mosquito repellent, or you'll end up in a miserable state, like me :(. It takes less than 15 minutes to walk slowly to the top of the mountain. The glass house at the top is always full of couples taking photos. It's air-conditioned and very cool! Of course, you can take in the panoramic views of Sanya! There's a private car to take you down the mountain, price negotiable!
The last stop of the Sanya trip is quite good from the perspective of scenery. You can overlook the panoramic view of Sanya from the vantage point. It is recommended to go there early as the air is very good.
But it was indeed the most chilling stop on our journey. We walked to the glass house in the Fenghuangling Haishishanmeng scenic area in Sanya and saw a sign at the door saying the photo time was 10 minutes. The security guard at the door was also having fun and ignored us. We saw people taking wedding photos inside and waited for a while so we went in to ask. A photographer said we needed to shoot for another 20 minutes. We understood and said we would just shoot in the back and not go to the newlyweds' shooting area. As a result, as soon as we took a step inside, the photographer said I was using a wide-angle lens and asked us to be quiet. We wanted to take wedding photos, so we should be understanding. The original rule was 10 minutes, so you can shoot for half an hour, but we were speechless with such a bad attitude. We even called the security guard to chase us away. At this time, the security guard became proactive and let us go without saying anything. He also scolded us. I said I wanted to complain, and they said we could complain.
After we came down the mountain, we went to the complaint point. As soon as we entered, the complaint staff actually told us that the security guards on the mountain had called them to say hello and told them that someone would come to complain. Only then did we realize that the security guards were not afraid of complaints because they had already said hello.
The management of the scenic area is too irregular, the quality of some employees is too poor, they take money to do things, and we tourists have no way to complain, which is really disheartening.
The scenery is very good. It is a nice resort.
Take the cable car up and walk along a wooden plank road to the top of the mountain. The Crystal Church is full of people taking wedding photos. You can overlook Sanya.
We took the cable car up to Phoenix Ridge. A promise of love. The sun set at 7:00 PM. The beautiful night view can be enjoyed from the top of the mountain.
It's very suitable for couples. The scenery is nice and the sunset is beautiful.
Cable car phobia has reached its peak... The scenery at the top of the mountain is very good, suitable for couples and newlyweds to take wedding photos
This is the highest mountain in Sanya. You can see the whole island from the top.
We took the cable car up and down the mountain, but I didn't see any climbing paths. The scenery is unique, with half of the mountain offering views of the Four Scenic Spots and Eight Bays. It's best to go on a nice, fog-free day or to see the night view. The tour guide said it's the southernmost and highest point in China, at 18 degrees north latitude. The other half is the Palace of Love, where there are lots of wedding photos. There's a mailbox at the top of the mountain, but you need to bring your own stamps. Postcards are quite cheap. I'm a postcard addict and buy them everywhere I go.
We went to a wedding photo spot~ We had to push the baby stroller~ So stupid~
The Phoenix Ridge Scenic Area was a surprise on this trip and is definitely worth a visit. For details, you can check out my travel notes, which contain a lot of beautiful pictures.
I would rather stay in a hotel than come here. The scenery is average, the transportation is terrible, and there is no way back. I trusted the taxi driver when I went there, and when I left, there were no cars, only illegal taxis, with a starting price of 50. My beautiful mood was ruined in an instant...
From the summit, you can overlook the entire Sanya. The wind is incredibly strong, making you feel like you're sailing away on the wind. Long-haired girls can't even show their faces. There's also a glass church and a short glass plank road at the top, popular for wedding photo shoots. The cable car ride up and down is quite long, but it's a great way to take in the scenery below.
As the road was under construction, it was a bit difficult to walk on. We took the cable car up the mountain. The scenery was very beautiful and we could see the whole Sanya Bay. There were relatively few tourists and many couples taking wedding photos. It was worth a visit.
Because I was busy, I took the cable car up the mountain with my baby at 5 pm. Then the temperature dropped and it was a bit cold, so I had to rush down the mountain with the baby. Thank you for the Tongcheng activity.
I brought my baby here, and he loves riding the cable car the most. Haha, the scenery on the top of the mountain is beautiful and the air is fresh. It is worth going.
The actual area of the attraction is not large. It is located on the top of the mountain and can be reached by cable car in 10 minutes. The 360-degree view of Sanya is great. The ticket price is a bit high, I hope it can be more affordable!
This is Sanya's highest point, and the cable car ride is convenient and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy, so visibility was limited, so I didn't get to see the Four Bays and Eight Scenic Spots. Still, I got to see more of them than I did at Linchunling Park.
There are many locals here, and tourists generally choose Luhuitou as their first choice for mountain climbing. It is located in the city center, and transportation is very convenient. However, the weather in Sanya is still a bit hot and humid, and the climbing process is a bit difficult.
The park is very large, with cable cars going up and down. The scenery and management are good. You can overlook Sanya from different angles. The night view is also beautiful and worth a visit.
A park very close to Dadonghai, with good cable car facilities, you can see the whole view of Sanya, few people, and the air is particularly good.
The cable car goes to the top of the mountain, which is very convenient, but a little expensive, 80 is in the off-season. The scenery at the top of the mountain is very good, you can see the whole Sanya, with blue sky and white clouds above your head, which is suitable for taking pictures and very cool.
Among the many scenic spots in Sanya, Tianya Haijiao is probably the least worth visiting, although it is the most famous. Because the beach is not the most beautiful sea in Sanya. There is only a big stone with Tianya Haijiao written on it, which has a good meaning. I personally think that Fenghuangling Park is still good, with great scenery.
The scenery is charming, and life is full of poetry and a sense of distance.
It's quite good. There's a round-trip cable car. Once you get there, there are two routes up the mountain, which is quite enjoyable. While not one of Sanya's most famous attractions, it's still quite nice and worth a visit.
The entire Phoenix Ridge Scenic Area consists of a 360-degree forested plank road built around the mountain. To the west, you can overlook Sanya Bay, to the south, Dadonghai Lake, and to the east, Yalong Bay. Atop the mountain is a "Crystal Church" and a "Glass Plank Road." The Crystal Church is essentially a beautiful glass greenhouse. It was very hot at noon, but the air conditioning was surprisingly effective. During our visit, we saw the most couples taking wedding photos. Walking along the glass plank road was a bit daunting.
The scenery is beautiful. Near Dadonghai, you can watch the sunset at night and the sunrise in the morning. The air is filled with the smell of moist seawater. Living here makes me feel particularly comfortable and at ease. I think it's a good place to retire. It's very comfortable.
Fenghuangling Park, located in the heart of a development zone at the intersection of Jinhui Road and Wenquan Road in Zhaoyuan City (No. 111 Wenquan Road), covers an area of 280 mu. The park borders the newly built No. 1 Middle School branch to the south, the newly completed Radio and Television Building to the north, and the Gold Jewelry City and Jinhui Garden to the west. The park's numerous uniquely shaped buildings complement the park's lush greenery, flowers, and grass, creating a beautiful backdrop. The park is divided into four main scenic areas: Source Square, Ecological Square, Cultural Square, and Mountain and Forest Wilderness, catering to the diverse needs of people of all ages and backgrounds.
I took this trip last year, so I'm sorry I'm only reviewing it now. The scenery at Shanmenghaishi Scenic Area is beautiful and perfect for couples to take photos. I brought my baby here because he loves riding the cable car. Haha.
The weather was a bit chilly on our day, but the scenery was truly stunning, and the staff were very helpful. The scenery is romantic, and many of the backdrops are perfect for wedding photos. Compared to other scenic spots, it's less crowded, making it a great place for a relaxing trip.
The night view is the best. The air is fresh and natural.
It's a great place for couples to come together. The wind was nice and cool on the mountain, but visibility was poor when we went, so it was a bit difficult to see the scenery. The cable car was great, though.
When you get to the gate, you need to take the cable car up, and then walk around the mountain. If the facilities on the top of the mountain can be built, it should be quite good.
It's very nice to be close to nature, especially the glass house at the top of the mountain. There are small surprises in various small scenery along the way. The whole family had a great time.
I have to say that the scenery is really nice and the ticket price is not too high, I am quite satisfied!
The scenic spot is very beautiful. We took a car to go up. I hope to experience walking up next time. The scenic spot is mainly for viewing the scenery, and there are many people taking wedding photos.
Phoenix Ridge Park, Sanya city attractions, Four Bays and Eight Scenic Spots, Sanya Panorama, Crystal Love, and Tropical Rainforest Forest Scenic Area are all worth seeing.
The park is not big, and you can take a battery car. It is not tiring to take the old and the young with you. It is very suitable for a leisurely stroll with the family and take in the night view of Sanya.
We went on a sunny day and the panoramic view of Sanya from the top of the mountain was really beautiful. The scenic spots in the park are also very special and worth visiting for the elderly and children.
It feels good. You can see the panoramic view of Sanya. It is very cheap and convenient to book tickets online. Overall it is good
It's pretty good, not many people, the parking fee is cheap, the attractions are also okay, there are a lot of monkeys, and you can see a lot of high-rise buildings in the distance. Phoenix Island?
You can see a lot of Sanya scenery. In short, the scenery is very good. Walking all the way up the mountain is much more interesting than taking a car. There are also monkeys, haha!
It’s a great feeling to see the mountains as small as the ones above and the mountains as high as the ones above.
You must walk up the mountain when there are many people. The monkeys are so interesting to see. The monkey king and queen are still very handsome. The environment on the mountain is also very good. It is very pleasant.
A great place to overlook Sanya, the sea view and sunset are also great, and the night view is beautiful! China-TravelNote ticket purchase is very cost-effective, and verification is also very convenient and fast.
The scenery is really beautiful, the tickets are really cheap, you can see Shanya Bay and Phoenix Island from the top of the mountain, the scenery is beautiful, it is worth seeing. ∵I didn't encounter any monkeys
A small park in Sanya. After going up, you can enjoy the sea view. Don't rush, walk up slowly and experience the rare leisure time on the trip.
A family of seven, young and old, came to Hainan Island for the first time and climbed to the top of Phoenix Ridge, where they could enjoy the panoramic sea view, the fresh air, and the natural oxygen bar.
It’s a natural oxygen bar. I witnessed the magnificent sunset and sunset glow, and appreciated and experienced the song and dance performances of ethnic minorities. It was very enjoyable!
Phoenix Ridge is the highest point in Sanya, offering panoramic views. The scenery is truly breathtaking. We went there in the evening and enjoyed the stunning sunset and night view. It was well worth it.
📍The highest mountain in Sanya. Here you can take a cable car to enjoy the panoramic view of Sanya from a high altitude.
🏔Climbing to the top of Phoenix Ridge and gazing from the observation deck, a panoramic view of Sanya unfolds before our eyes. Even though it's afternoon, the mountain breeze still feels a bit chilly. This is also a popular spot for newlyweds to take wedding photos. Couples in formal attire are everywhere along the way.
❤There's also a glass church on Phoenix Ridge. Inside, a photographer was taking wedding photos for a newlywed couple. 💑 Curious Roe Deer stood at the entrance for a long time, observing it. This glass church is identical to the one we saw in Guam. We later learned that Guam's five unique churches all have replicas in Sanya, but those churches are all owned by hotels, while these are publicly owned, making them almost all free. If you're looking for a romantic getaway to see all the unique churches, Sanya, Hainan, will definitely satisfy your romantic needs.
