The purpose of visiting here is more for commemoration than for the actual scenery. It turns out that the Yellow River can be like this. On the grassland, there are too many winding river landscapes, which can be seen everywhere. There is only a high observation deck here with a better view. The most beautiful time should be the light and shadow of the sunset in the evening. Many blockbusters are shot during this period. If it is cloudy, it is very ordinary and there is nothing to see, such as what I saw.

The first bend of the Yellow River is the beginning of the ninety-nine bends of the Yellow River. The Yellow River, originating from the Bayankala Mountains, rolls eastward, coming from Gansu, gently caresses the edge of Sichuan, and then turns back to Qinghai, forming a series of big S-shaped curves. Here, the Yellow River becomes the boundary river between Sichuan and Gansu. The Baihe River merges into the top of the first bend, so this place is called the first bend of the nine bends of the Yellow River.

       

The ticket is 60 yuan plus 5 yuan insurance fee. You can also buy the escalator ticket in the scenic area, the ticket price is also a pitfall of 60 yuan. If you buy the ticket plus the elevator package, it is 105. Although the vertical drop at the highest point is only 160 meters, once you get to the edge of the plank road, you feel like the Mutianyu Great Wall. Just looking at it makes you weak in the feet. Climbing all the way up at an altitude of 3,800 meters is really enough to drink a pot. If you are not physically fit and your body is hollowed out, you should pay for the convenience.

The best time to view the First Bend of the Nine Bends is in the evening, when the sunset glows and reflects on the surface of the Nine Bends of the Yellow River like a golden ribbon.

The advantage of the morning is that there are fewer people. Walking along the wooden plank road, gazing into the distance, and feeling the breeze on your face are refreshing.

Jiuqu First Bay is really suitable for watching the sunset in the evening. There are also accommodations in the scenic area, and you can also camp. If you don’t bring your children to stay in the scenic area, it may be more effective to take pictures of the morning fog at sunset and sunrise.

There is a regret and a luck in coming here. The regret is that I didn’t see the sunset over the Yellow River, and the luck is that I saw the first rainbow in my life.

The first bend of the Yellow River is the first real scenic spot I visited on this trip. Because of the entrance fee, all kinds of scenic facilities are available. We bought elevator tickets and were fooled by the driver. In fact, it was a waste of money. The key is that the scenery on the walking path is more beautiful.

The Yellow River meanders northward, the grass connects to the water, the water connects to the sky, the two rivers are elegant and unique, like a pair of lovers, hand in hand towards the northwest horizon, which broadens your mind and makes you marvel! Clusters of tents, wisps of smoke, pastoral songs, and galloping horses are poetic and picturesque, and beautiful!

Park the car in the parking lot at the entrance of the elevator and take the world's highest and steepest elevator. The sightseeing escalator is more than 500 meters long, one section after another. When you reach halfway up, you must keep your eyes open and carefully observe the wide view of the hillside outside the glass. In the grass, marmots of various shapes are nibbling on the haystacks. During the elevator's ascent, marmots can be seen all the way. This is the area where marmots appear most frequently. Watching the sunset depends on luck. Our luck was not good, but it was not the worst.

The first bend of the Yellow River on a cloudy day did not welcome the long-awaited sunset as expected, but this did not reduce its beauty. The thick clouds covered the sky in lead gray, and the Yellow River looked even broader and calmer against this background.

In such weather, the surface of the Yellow River has lost its golden luster, and is replaced by a deep and rich silver-gray. Although this color is not as dazzling as the golden color under the sun, it gives people a deep intoxication.

Under the dark cloud sky, at the edge of the first bend of the Yellow River, the mountains and trees are lush and green, forming a sharp contrast with the gray river water. This contrast makes people feel the magnificence of nature and the power of life.

The first bend of the Yellow River is located in Tangke Town, Ruoergai County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, which is the junction of Sichuan, Qinghai and Gansu provinces.



The Yellow River flows from Qinghai and Gansu in the northwest to Sichuan. When it reaches the border of Sichuan, it makes a big turn near Tangke Town, and after merging with the Baihe River, it turns back to the northwest and flows back to Gansu and Qinghai.



The ticket to the Tangke Yellow River Nine Bends First Bay Scenic Area is 60 yuan, and the ticket including the escalator is 105 yuan.



There is only one road in the scenic area, and you can drive into the scenic area by car.



The best way to view the Yellow River Bay is to go to the observation deck on the mountain and look at it from a high vantage point. There are escalators and plank roads to go up the mountain.



There are parking lots at the entrance of the sightseeing escalator and the entrance of the walking path up the mountain, right next to the road. The two are nearly 1 kilometer apart.



If you take the sightseeing escalator up the mountain to view the scenery, you can walk down the mountain along the plank road. There are many viewing platforms along the way.

After going down the mountain, walk back to the escalator parking lot. You can walk along the riverside plank road for a loop.



If you hike up the mountain to see the view, you can return down the mountain the same way you came. (Do not take the escalator or buy an escalator ticket)



In fact, if you hike up the mountain, you can just climb to the second or third viewing platform, and you don’t have to climb any higher. These are the two better viewing locations.



On the other side of the road is a long plank road leading to the river. It will take at least half an hour to walk all the way. Because of the high altitude, you have to move slowly.

There are many hotels in the scenic area. If you stay there and buy a ticket, you can have fun for two days - the main thing is that you can watch the sunrise and sunset, which is worth the money - of course, you may have to climb a mountain to see the sunrise.

The sunset is beautiful. Although the escalator ticket is expensive, it is worth it - those with good physical strength can ignore it, but ordinary people please spend the money - it saves effort and saves lives.

After registering your car, you can drive directly into the scenic area and park at the foot of the escalator, which is very convenient.

The First Bend of the Yellow River

Everything is so harmonious, the white water meanders like a flying Hada, the grass meets the water, the water connects to the sky, the sky is full of clouds, and the clouds reflect the earth; everything is so peaceful, the water is silent, only the wind is howling, the temple is shining with golden light, and the accounting office is curling with smoke, perhaps this is the best expression of the unity of heaven and man. The world has great beauty but does not speak, the winding river has never made a sound here for thousands of years, because he knows that there are still thousands of miles to go, and his heart is still filled with the sea.

Located in Tangke Town, Ruoergai County, Sichuan Province, it is located in the heart of Ruoergai grassland and is the hometown of Hequ horse, one of the three famous horses in China.

After buying tickets at the visitor center, I took a car through two checkpoints to reach the Sky Ladder and took the escalator. It took about twenty minutes to reach the top observation deck. The weather was gloomy, the temperature was around ten degrees, and it was drizzling. The wind was strong on the plank road and I was shivering with cold.

One is a wooden corridor that goes up, which is relatively slow, and the other is an escalator, which only goes up. Going down is to take the iron ladder next to it, which has a larger slope. The escalator is divided into 14 sections, and it only takes 15 minutes to reach the top. If you come down, your legs will shake easily.

The First Bend of the Nine Bends of the Yellow River originates from the Yellow River in the Bayankala Mountains and flows through Sichuan Province. The river bend hinterland and the panoramic view of the mountain top are very tiring to walk the whole way, but it is worth it!

The scenery is nice and it is indeed unique. The tickets are not cheap, but if you haven't been there, you still have to go and see it.

You need to climb to the top of the mountain to see the nine bends of the Yellow River. We were almost at the top of the mountain when we found out that we could take the sightseeing elevator... Never mind, the scenery will be more interesting if you climb so hard.

My friend later told us that the scenery was just average. My god, it's so beautiful.

To enjoy the First Bay, take the escalator to the top of the mountain, and then look down at the grassland and the winding Yellow River below the mountain. Since it is late autumn, the grassland scenery is definitely greatly reduced. However, you can only walk down.

It's OK, it would be better if there is sunshine.

The first bend of the Nine-bend Yellow River is more than 80 kilometers away from Vachetalin. It only takes 1 hour to drive there. It is considered a scenic spot that is very close to each other. Thanks to the good weather on that day, the Nine-bend Yellow River is beautiful! ! The package we bought is 105 per person, including tickets and escalator tickets. You still need to drive a long way from the scenic area to the parking lot at the foot of the escalator. If you don't buy an escalator ticket, you need to walk uphill for 4 kilometers to reach the viewing platform. If there are elderly people going there, don't feel sorry for the money. The road is still not easy to walk. When we went down the mountain, we met an old lady in her 70s climbing the slope. She was so tired that she couldn't lift her legs. As the saying goes, there are 99 bends in the Yellow River in the world, and the first bend of the Nine-bend Yellow River is here, and you can see it all. The curved Yellow River, like a dragon, is entrenched in the sun, as magnificent as the land of China, and is worthy of being the mother river of China.

Very beautiful, the weather is good and the best place to watch the sunset

It was a pity that I didn't see the sunset because it was cloudy on the day of the tour. However, I unexpectedly harvested the reflection of endless colorful clouds, and also saw the beams of light penetrating through the layers of clouds, which was extremely beautiful. I bought an elevator ticket and went up a hundred meters to the viewing platform. I didn't breathe at all. If there was a plank road, I would be exhausted on the plateau. Climb up and look far, and you can see the beautiful scenery. There are high anti-reaction reminders everywhere in the scenic area, but I still can't help jumping~ Before sunset, the sun shines linearly, which is very suitable for taking side portraits. Walking down slowly along the plank road from a high place is the vast hinterland of the grassland, and in front is the lake scenery. It can be said that "the autumn water and the sky are the same color". There are also many temple buildings and prayer flags along the way, which look particularly solemn when the sky gradually darkens.

It is a very worthwhile place to visit. I didn't see the sunrise and sunset when I went there. It's a little regretful. I will go there next time.

I remember that it seems to be 14 sections and 538 meters long. It usually only goes up. Close to the other side of the escalator is an iron ladder for going up and down. It will only be opened to send staff down the mountain after get off work at around 8 o'clock in the evening. Tourists can also follow; the second is a wooden corridor, which is long and relatively slow. After going up, there is an observation deck. The whole picture of the first bend of the Yellow River is in full view. Unlike what I imagined, the Yellow River here is also yellow, perhaps because the sky is not clear enough. The Baihe River merges into the Yellow River here. Gansu is on the other side of the river, and Sichuan is on this side. Speaking of the return trip, I don’t recommend the corridor road in my heart. Although there are fewer uphills in the corridor, the distance is too long. It is better to return the original way and walk less.

Around 5:30 pm, we were ready to go to the first bend of the Yellow River to watch the sunset. There were so many people, and there were long queues. The place where we bought tickets was still a long way from the scenic area, and the road was not repaired and bumpy all the way. There are several viewing platforms along the mountain, and you can see the beautiful Yellow River bend at a glance, with a wide view. After getting off the car, we started to climb the mountain. After climbing a few stairs, it started to rain, and it was getting heavier. We squeezed under an umbrella to avoid the rain. At this time, there were blue sky and white clouds on one side, and heavy rain on the other side. Suddenly I remembered the song: Love is like blue sky and white clouds, clear sky, and suddenly a storm... It's so appropriate.

The highest observation deck has the most people. People are everywhere. Friends who love photography have been here for a long time. They have already occupied the camera position early. However, the weather was not good. The sun finally hid in the clouds and did not come out, only a little light was revealed. However, here, the night accompanied by the breeze and the sunset was not disappointing to me. Holding the railing, dragging my chin, blowing the breeze, quietly watching the beautiful curve formed by the bend of the Yellow River in the distance, and finally rushing to the distance... Maybe they also have a distant dream.

Taking the highest escalator (3,600 meters) to the viewing platform of the first bend of the Yellow River, this is a ribbon left by fairies on earth, winding and stretching to the endless horizon. Grass connects to water, water connects to the sky, no wonder Li Bai said "the water of the Yellow River comes from the sky". This scenery is very similar to the nine bends and eighteen bends of the Kaidu River in Bayinbuluke, Xinjiang. The original style of nature is exactly the same but each has its own merits. Although I didn't see the wonder of several suns appearing in the S-bend at the same time as I wished, it was still intoxicating. I saw that the sun was shining golden in the previous second, and hid in the clouds in the next second, leaving the afterglow to color the sky and turn into colorful clouds. It only took a moment for the sun to finally fall behind the mountain. The mountains, rivers and land returned to tranquility in an instant. I only heard the sound of the wind in my ears, and the footsteps of night came suddenly...

The Yellow River Nine Bends scenic spot has elevator tickets and scenic area tickets. We chose to take the elevator up, which has 14 escalators. It takes quite a while to go up. It is said that it takes an hour and a half to walk up the wooden plank road, and it is very strenuous to climb the plateau. In addition, it was already past six o'clock when we got there. This was a correct choice. The best viewing time in the scenic area is generally recognized to be in the evening when the sunset shines on the surface of the Yellow River Nine Bends. Unfortunately, it was cloudy that day.

You can take the escalator up, which is divided into 14 sections, and there are estimated to be more than 1,000 steps in total. You have to walk down, and the stairs are quite steep. You can also choose to walk down the mountain on the plank road. Climb up to the observation deck and look far into the distance. The sky and the earth are boundless, and the water of the Yellow River is like a fairy's ribbon floating from the sky, dancing on the earth. The altitude here is 3,600, and it is obvious that you feel short of breath. We walked down the mountain on the plank road in advance before sunset, and looked up every three steps, just to avoid missing the beauty of that moment. In the western sky, the clouds covered the sunset, and there was no scene of "the whole river valley shrouded in a golden color", but we appreciated the "solemn phantom in the universe" bestowed by God on the earth.

I went with a tour group. The viewing platform is on the top of a small hill. You can go up by wooden plank road or escalator. You need to pay for the escalator at your own expense, 60 yuan.

The wooden plank road looks neither high nor long, but it is actually an illusion that there is no reference point. Moreover, climbing on the plateau is much more difficult than in the mainland. If you are short on time, it is better to take the escalator.

Standing on the observation deck, you can see the whole panorama. The boundless mountains and grasslands stretch all the way to the end of the sky. The Yellow River is like a jade belt and Hada, floating from the end of the sky and winding to the other end of the sky.

The scenery of Jiuqu First Bay is nice. The weather is cool in August, but the ultraviolet rays are strong, so you need to take good sun protection. Some people will have altitude sickness, so you need to pay attention.

The Nine Bends of the Yellow River is more suitable for watching the sunset, with magnificent views. There is an observation deck on the hillside, equipped with an elevator to go up but not down. As we were at a high altitude, we chose the elevator and walked down the plank road on the other side when going down the mountain.

I have to say that the elevator really saves effort. Although the sky outside looks clear and the sun is shining, the wind on the top of the mountain is really strong. If you don’t keep your strength up, you really can’t make it to sunset.

There are different view around the observation deck, but unfortunately we are uneducated, and everyone has only one thing to say: It is so beautiful... The winding river course of the Yellow River can be seen very clearly from above, flowing far away to the horizon.

The local sunset time is around 8 o'clock. Before sunset, a large cloud came over and blocked the sun. Many people thought that there would be no sunset today, so they went down the mountain. We insisted on waiting halfway up the mountain. Suddenly, a ray of light leaked out from the clouds. Sunset, there is hope! !

In just a moment, the sky showed the posture of a flaming cloud. At that moment, I was so moved that I almost cried. Thinking about the hardships along the way, this is the best gift God has given me. If I hadn't persisted, I wouldn't have seen such a magnificent and colorful sunset. The wind and rain along the way finally paid off. I always thought that I was the unlucky one, but in fact, God has saved the best for the last, waiting for me to discover. The wait was not in vain. Thank you for the beauty of the world, and we are here, on the road, to explore and grow. Being full of happiness may be the biggest feeling that Tangke gave me. Life is not only full of bitter fruits, but also those gorgeous flowers.

If you come here in the early morning, there will be very thick fog on some S-bends of the Yellow River. The Yellow River is hidden under the fog, and there is no trace of it. In fact, the most spectacular view of the Nine-bend Yellow River should be the sunset. If you face the Nine-bend Yellow River, the back is the endless undulating grassland, and the view is very comfortable. The front is the Nine-bend Yellow River, winding and circling, which is very interesting. If you encounter cloudy days, you must pay attention and bring an umbrella!

The elevator is under maintenance, but the elevator fee is charged as usual, 60 for the elevator and 65 for the ticket! When buying tickets, you should ask if the elevator is under maintenance, the ticket seller is too unscrupulous.

The road is too bad, too bad. The road to Tangke is bad, full of shell holes, and the 10km road from the ticket office to the scenic spot is even worse. It affects the mood of the trip.

"The Yellow River has nine bends and eighteen bends", and the first one is in Maqu. Maqu County is also the only county named after the "Yellow River" in the entire Yellow River Basin (Maqu means Yellow River in Tibetan). The first bend of the Yellow River is so clear on the grassland, not like the appearance of growing up. You can choose to take the elevator directly to the highest viewing platform in the scenic area, or you can slowly go up to the highest point by yourself through the wooden plank road. At the high point, I finally found the source of the mother of Chinese civilization. Here she is still young, more like a girl. I am confused by the different appearance of the Yellow River, and I am more determined, firmly in love with this land, and love it deeply.

There are two ways to buy tickets: one is to take the escalator directly to the observation deck, and the package ticket is 105 yuan per ticket. The other way is to take the big plank road to the observation deck, and the ticket is 60 yuan per person. Anyway, the sunset is at 8 o'clock, so we chose to walk on the wooden plank road and watch while walking. After buying the tickets for this scenic spot, private cars can drive directly into the core scenic spot for free. If you still want to watch the sunrise, you can stay directly in the hotel in the scenic spot. At an altitude of 3,500, climbing the wooden plank road is also a physical work. The sun is shining on your head, and you have to take a breath after walking a few steps... But it is also very pleasant to walk and watch the beautiful scenery along the way.

The ladder to the first bend of the Yellow River is so long, and there are sections leading to the elevator. The altitude here is 3500 meters, so it's a bit high.

At this moment, the water is flowing on the flat land of the plateau. There is no rush, but it slows down on its own. One gentle turn pushes another gentle turn, endlessly. Even the stones are polished to be round and solid, and just like that, it flows away downstream without knowing where it will end.

The Yellow River here has no turbulent waves, no waves crashing on the shore, but only meandering and gentle. If you can climb to the highest point and look down at sunset, it is a very beautiful view.

Thanks again for the cloudy weather today. There is nothing special about the Yellow River alone, but the clouds today are really beautiful. Some places are still cloudy, and a roll of clouds rises from the flat ground, connecting the ground and the sky, as if a tornado is brewing; while some places are already sunny, the sun shines through the edge of the clouds, and the whole cloud is particularly bright, as if inlaid with gold edges. We walked down the mountain on the wooden plank road, and I kept taking pictures of the sky, which I liked very much. On such a cloudy day, it is neither sunny nor hot to go down the mountain. The plank road down the mountain looks very far, but it is very easy to walk. If you don’t take pictures like me, you can go down in about 30 minutes. When going down the mountain, I heard people who went up the mountain say that it was cloudy today and the sunset could not be seen. If it is a sunny day, it is a good choice to watch the sunset later, but if you watch the Yellow River Nine Bends alone at noon, I guess you won’t have any interest in playing.

The ticket for the Jiuqu Yellow River scenic spot and the sightseeing escalator ticket are 65 and 60 respectively, and the package ticket is 105. Considering my old legs, I resolutely bought the package ticket, and later I realized how wise it was. The ticket office is still a long way from the scenic area. The driver drove us in, and the road was also dusty. After arriving at the parking lot, we first walked on the plank road below to feel the Yellow River up close. Then we went up the sightseeing escalator and watched the sunset over the Yellow River from the top.

The escalator is called the Sky Ladder. It looks spectacular. The vertical height is only 158 meters, but because it is built in the form of an escalator, it looks particularly long. It took a long time to get on it. Although this elevator is a bit of a sight to behold, it is much more convenient for people like me who have difficulty walking.

Climbing to a high place, I was immediately impressed by the beauty of the winding Yellow River. When mentioning the Yellow River, the first thing that comes to mind is the grandeur of Li Bai's Yellow River water coming from heaven. I didn't expect that the graceful and quiet beauty formed by Tangke at the confluence of the Baihe River and the Yellow River could be so intoxicating. Under the setting sun, the river flows quietly, and the sparkling waves and the blue sky reflect the stunning beauty, which makes people deeply intoxicated!

Walking back along the plank road, I couldn't move my feet. I felt that every step was a beautiful scene. No matter from which angle, it was so charming. Even the clouds in the sky, the prayer flags on the mountain, and the little lamas playing and playing on the ridge became the embellishment of the beautiful Yellow River. The Yellow River Nine Bends is usually visited to see the sunset. The Yellow River Nine Bend is different from other places. There is no cable car, but a total of 18 escalators (we counted). We should have taken the elevator and walked down from the plank road next to it. As a result, lightning and thunder appeared soon after we got on the viewing platform. Although it didn't rain, it was probably not far away. The drone was carried a long way up, and we didn't dare to fly far away, for fear that it would be hit by lightning and explode.

We took the escalator to the highest point very quickly, and we could overlook the entire Jiuqu First Bay, which was quite nice. The plank road connected to the Yellow River below, but we didn't go down. This is the panoramic view.

We arrived at the entrance of the Yellow River First Bay Scenic Area at seven in the evening. The sun was still high in the sky. We took twelve consecutive escalators to reach the observation tower. The observation tower has four floors. In addition to the escalator that can directly reach the observation tower, you can also walk slowly on the plank road from the entrance to the observation tower. The sun began to set slowly. It is estimated that there is still an hour before the sun sets completely. However, each floor of the observation tower is full of tourists, most of whom are pointing their cameras at the beautiful scenery below, looking forward to the moment when the golden color sprinkles the earth. At sunset, the wind is getting stronger and stronger. We put on all the clothes we can wear, but our bodies are still shivering.

The sun sets bit by bit, and another sun is reflected in the calm Yellow River. The golden color spreads to the earth. The vast wilderness and the winding Yellow River blend harmoniously. A magnificent picture is presented before us. This is the First Bay of the Yellow River, which is known as the "solemn phantom in the universe."

There is only one viewing platform at present. The scenic area is very large and many things are still under construction. It should be equipped with supporting facilities in the future.

There are two options to reach the viewing platform from the bottom of the mountain. One is the elevator, which is very long and divided into more than a dozen sections. The price is 60 yuan; the other is the wooden plank road, which winds up along the ridge. It took me about 30 minutes to reach the viewing platform. If your physical strength allows, it is recommended to go according to your ability.

As the steps wind upwards, the angles of the Yellow River and the surrounding scenery keep changing. It is totally unimaginable that the surging Yellow River can be so clear and slow here.

If possible, it is best to come in the afternoon and wait on the observation deck for the setting sun to shine over the entire grassland.

There are many bends, but unfortunately the sun is not in the right position in July and August.

As for the viewing platform, I personally think the second to last one is the best.

After the sun goes down, it is very windy and cold, so it is best to bring a hat. Also be careful when going down the stairs as it is quite dark.

You can only drive in after buying a ticket. The road to the scenic spot is a bit bad, so there is no need to buy a sightseeing escalator. Climb up along the plank road and you can enjoy the Jiuqu from different angles. It is suitable to go there at sunset.

The Yellow River Bends under the blue sky and white clouds are very beautiful and worth seeing. The tickets are valid for both morning and evening. For example, if you buy a ticket that night, you can go again the next morning.

The weather was good when we arrived, the sky was clear and the yellow grassland looked brighter. There is a long wooden plank road where the mountains are winding, and there are many viewing platforms along the way, from which you can have a panoramic view of the entire river area. But after waiting for the sunset, I watched the sun slowly sink, and a huge dark cloud floated in the sky, and the sunset became a falling soup. I feel that this attraction is average, and the fish in the river are more delicious.

It is not the peak season to go there now. There were basically no other people except our group of seven. The road to the scenic spot is under renovation and it is difficult to walk. Only SUVs will not have their chassis scratched. Many places to eat and stay in the scenic spot are not open yet, and there are not many staff in the scenic spot. It was blizzard when going up the mountain, and it was sunny and windy when going down the mountain. The scenery was pretty good, and there were prairie pikas, marmots and hares. The blue sky and white clouds are still beautiful together with the first bay of the Yellow River!

The scenery of Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong is beyond words. It is really beyond words. No one who goes there will regret it. But the road is too dangerous, with mudslides, landslides, and earthquakes.

It was a bit late when we went there, and the sky was not very good, it was gloomy. After a while, it felt a bit cloudy. But the scenery was different. The Nine Bends and Eighteen Turns under the afterglow of the setting sun looked even more enchanting, and there was a feeling of a dragon taking flight. There was a black cloud in the sky that looked like a roc, and it felt like we had encountered a miracle. Well, we finally saw it.

The First Bend of the Nine Bends of the Yellow River originates from the Yellow River in Bayankala Mountain (4,500 meters above sea level), flows through Sichuan Province, and forms a famous scenic spot next to the Suokezang Temple in Tangke Township, Ruoergai County. The Yellow River cuts across here for 300 meters, and the White River cuts across here for 400 meters. In this section of the Yellow River, it is the boundary river between Sichuan and Gansu, with Gansu to the west and Sichuan to the east. The first bend of the Yellow River is located in Tangke Township, Ruoergai, 80 kilometers from Hongyuan County. The road conditions from Provincial Road S209 to County Road XU13 to Tangke Township are slightly worse, but they are still passable. Cars can drive in from the gate of the scenic area, but don't stop at the hiking trail, because on this plateau with an altitude of more than 3,500 meters, it is impossible to climb to the top of the mountain from there. It's too strenuous! Be careful of altitude sickness. From the hiking trail, you can only walk to the second or third level platform at most. You should continue to drive inside until you reach the escalator parking lot inside. The steep section above is the escalator, and the relatively flat section below needs to be walked up. Looking from below, the hiking section is not very high, but it is not easy to walk up, with weak legs and feet and panting. The escalator is divided into ten sections (it seems so?), and the ticket price seems to be 120 yuan, which is still not cheap. You can take the escalator to the highest viewing platform, and the confluence of the Baihe River and the Yellow River is in front. Because the grassland in this area is very flat, the river is winding like this, which is quite spectacular and worth a visit.

The First Bend of the Nine-bend Yellow River is located in Tangke Township, Ruoergai County, at the junction of Sichuan, Qinghai and Gansu provinces. Drive about 61 kilometers from Ruoergai and 9 kilometers north of Tangke Township to the First Bend of the Nine-bend Yellow River. The Yellow River, which is surging in the Central Plains, is still a gentle and calm river here. The water flows slowly and clear, passing through the vast sea of ​​grass, and cattle and sheep stroll leisurely by the river. In the evening, climb to the top of the hillside behind the Suoge Zang Temple. There is a viewing platform for the First Bend of the Nine-bend, which can be reached by steps, and there is a viewing elevator for 40 yuan per person to go directly to the top of the mountain (if you are in a hurry or for physical reasons, it is still worth it). This is the best place to watch the sunset of the First Bend.

The navigation recommended a bad road that had been repaired all the way, so we failed to reach Tangke at sunset. The next day, we thought it was cloudy, so we didn't go to see the sunrise. But when we opened the curtains, we saw a sky full of colorful clouds... When we got to the viewing platform, we realized that this was not the best angle to watch the sunrise, but the sunset was the most beautiful from the back of the first bend of the Nine-bend Yellow River. Although we didn't catch it, the light was favorable in the morning, and everyone looked radiant and beautiful in the photos.

As a city dweller, I was shocked when I came to the vast grassland. The magnificent scenery along the way, such as the first bay. The natural scenery is indeed beautiful, but the local road is being repaired, and the road conditions in and out are poor, especially in rainy weather. Travelers should be careful. In addition, the elevator for climbing can only go up but not down. The exit of the plank road for walking down the mountain is about 800 meters away from the climbing site.
