Li Bai's Hometown Scenic Area is right next to Qinglian Station, with convenient transportation.
It's just a newly built attraction, nothing special, not recommended!
Many people on the bus website have this opinion: if a bus does not stop at the station, it will be a bad review.
I think it's just average. It looks like it's been recently renovated. The building smells like paint. The place is not very big. I think I can finish it in an hour. Maybe I went at a bad time. The sky was quite gloomy. I didn't find anything good to eat nearby. It's also a bit inconvenient to take the bus back to Mianyang. Overall, it's average.
It's under construction and will open at the end of September. It should be open during Golden Week.
Recommended route: Get off at the train station and walk five minutes to the bus terminal
Take the bus from Mianyang to Jiangyou.
Tell the driver to stop at Li Bai's former residence and he will let you off.
It's not open yet! It's a mess. Not suitable to go at the moment!
Located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou, Sichuan, the transportation is average and it is far from Chengdu, but you can travel back and forth on the same day.
If you haven't been there, you can go and see it. If you come from Mianyang, take a bus from Pingzheng Station to Qinglian. The fare is no more than 12 yuan. Tell the driver to stop under Taibai Stele Forest. Remember to eat Jiangyou pig intestines.
There are many poems by Li Bai that can be used for enlightenment.
This is the hometown of the renowned poet Li Bai, also known as the Taibai Stele Forest. CCTV hosted the 2015 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala here. The area is primarily composed of period buildings and beautifully maintained gardens, giving it a Tang Dynasty-style feel, though with less historical and cultural significance. The main attractions are the stele forest and statues of Li Bai's poems. From the Taibai Tower, you can overlook Qinglian Town. A tour of the area takes about two hours.
Li Bai's hometown is well built. Next to the original tomb of Li Bai's sister, Taibai Stele Forest, Taibai Tower and other attractions have been built. The environment in the park is elegant and the paths are quiet. Walking on the poetic and picturesque tree-lined paths, the melodious guzheng music lingers in your ears, as if Li Bai was here holding a book in his hands and reciting poems passionately.
The hometown of the great poet Li Bai is truly amazing. The scenery is stunning, surrounded by verdant mountains and lush trees, nestled amidst the lush greenery. You can take bus No. 9 from downtown Jiangyou, but we got off at the wrong stop, wasting dozens of minutes. The bus driver was rude and ignored every question we asked, showing no service at all. The snacks sold at the entrance to the scenic area were decent, but the best was the brown sugar ice jelly, sold by a handsome young man for 5 yuan each. It was icy and refreshing! Along the way, we met many elementary school students who were visiting the poet's hometown for a study tour. It was lively and fun. The entrance fee was affordable at 40 yuan, far superior to the daunting Yaowang Mountain, truly a 4A-rated scenic spot. The cultural atmosphere is overwhelming, with Li Bai's poems displayed throughout the area, some carved on pillars, some carved into the ground, and some depicted in oil paintings. There are also vivid sculptures depicting Li Bai's life. Li Bai's former home is located here. In those days, a courtyard this large signified a truly wealthy family, a descendant of a military family. Li Bai's talent was unmatched for millennia, and the pleasant climate here—perhaps a sign of excellent feng shui—may have something to do with it. At Li Bai Square, I even ran into the internet celebrity Li Bai, known to me from Meng Fei's show. A native of Northeast China, he's dedicated to promoting Li Bai's culture. I took a photo with him, paying tribute to the great poet. Throughout my visit to Li Bai's hometown, I was overwhelmed with admiration for him. I took countless photos and truly hope to return someday to savor every poem, every painting, and every sculpture by the poet. Farewell! Li Bai's hometown! I'll definitely visit again someday!
Jiangyou City is the hometown of the great poet Li Bai. His hometown is located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou City. There is Li Bai's tomb and the grave of Li Bai's sister. If you are interested in learning about Li Bai's childhood story, you can go there to have a look.
The attractions are average, I recommend rice noodles, you must go to the authentic old shop to eat
Nice place, be sure to visit if you have time.
I learned about Mianyang when I was passing by. It is said to be the hometown of Li Bai. I don’t know if there is any research on this. I always thought that Li Bai was from the Western Regions.
Friends who like ancient style can go and have a look. It's okay. There are some general sightseeing spots.
The hometown of Li Bai, the Immortal Poet, is a small town of poetry, quiet and poetic.
If you are interested in Li Bai, you can go there. If you want to see the scenery, you will be disappointed.
All of these buildings were built in recent years, just for tourism's sake, to make money. There's not a single staff member in the entire scenic area, nor any small shops. Once you buy your ticket, there's nothing there. Let's not even talk about whether the 50 yuan ticket is expensive or not; it's simply not worth it. Even 20 yuan is too much! If Li Bai knew about this, he would have written a poem to denounce this place that uses its name to make money! I wouldn't even think of taking pictures with my phone. Don't go. If you don't regret it, come and find me!
If you like Li Bai's poetry, you can still go and see it. It's not necessary to make a special trip there, but it's very convenient to get there. You can get there by intercity train, and the pig intestines there are very delicious, but you can't eat too much.
Going to Jiangyou is like going to this place. If you don’t go, you will feel like something is missing. So, you still have to go and see it.
Well, a thousand years have passed. I don't really think the poet would leave anything behind. The place is nice, but I don't like it under the name of Li Bai.
Lotus Householder, I guess his creation is very vivid, it is worth a visit.
Li Bai's hometown and Taibai Stele Forest are both worth visiting. The disadvantage is that the transportation is a bit inconvenient.
Li Bai's hometown Li Bai's hometown Li Bai's hometown Li Bai's hometown
Li Bai's hometown isn't in Mianyang, but in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou. After arriving in Jiangyou, there's a dedicated bus to Qinglian Town, but it seems to end early in the afternoon, so it's best to ask the driver. Li Bai's hometown is said to be the hometown of the poet Li Bai (I'm not sure if that's true). The scenery is quite nice, with inscriptions of Li Bai's poems everywhere, giving it a rich, ancient cultural atmosphere. It's worth a visit. Tickets are also quite affordable, costing NT$50 during peak season and NT$40 during off-season, making it quite affordable.
Taibai's hometown is located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou, with convenient transportation and well-managed scenic area. It is the hometown of Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty.
It's really just average. I'm not saying that the local scenery is inferior to other places, but the sun was shining brightly when I went there. The air wasn't great but better than Chongqing. The locals were very nice and the food was not spicy but just right.
It has a certain commemorative significance and is suitable for people who like literature.
The hometown of the great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai is located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province. Li Bai's former residence is located in the Longxi Courtyard of Qinglian Town. Qinglian is a famous historical and cultural town in Sichuan Province, famous both at home and abroad as the hometown of Li Bai.
Li Bai's hometown is not very big, and half a day is enough to visit it. You can learn about Li Bai's life story.
The park is quite large. Since it is Li Bai's former residence, there are many stone-carved poems. It is best to hire a tour guide of 80-150 meters to get a clearer understanding of Li Bai's life!
Li Bai was born in the first year of the Chang'an reign (701 AD). His courtesy name was Taibai. The exact location of his birthplace remains uncertain, but it is generally believed to be Changlong (later changed to Changming to avoid Emperor Xuanzong's taboo) in Mianzhou (Baxi County) of the Jiannan Road of the Tang Dynasty (present-day Jiangyou City, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province). Furthermore, because Li Bai lived in Anlu, Hubei for ten years and married the granddaughter of Xu Yushi, Prime Minister during the reign of Emperor Gaozong, Anlu is also considered Li Bai's second hometown.
Jiangyou, a place I would never know or go to if it weren't for him. But because of someone's hometown, I came to this land. I have a feeling of "I came to your city"... So that's it.
According to legend, Jiangyou in Mianyang is the birthplace of Li Bai, and this is also recorded in historical documents. If you pass by here, it is worth a visit.
If you like humanities and history, you can go there. It's okay.
Li Bai's hometown is located in Qinglianchang (formerly the seat of Zhangming County), 15 kilometers south of Jiangyou City. It is the hometown of the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai. It includes attractions such as the Qinglianchang Li Bai Hometown, the Li Bai Memorial Hall in the city, Taibai Park, Haideng Martial Arts Hall, and Taibai Cave. It is named after the great Tang Dynasty poet, known as the "Poet Immortal."
It's a pity that I don't have any talent for ancient Chinese, I just went to take a look.
Only the exterior is acceptable. It's really a waste of Li Bai's reputation. The interior is very ordinary. And the entrance fee is 40. Not worth it.
Commenting on the hometowns of ancient people from thousands of years ago, especially those of Tang Dynasty figures like Li Bai, the Immortal Poet and Winemaker, is a matter of trepidation, fearing that a single word might tarnish his thousand-year-old reputation. However, Jiangyou's fame as a celebrity's hometown is undeniable, and neighboring Guangyuan is renowned for Empress Wu Zetian. Sichuan is blessed with such outstanding people and beautiful scenery, yet these two places lack sufficient publicity, effort, and effort. Otherwise, Jiangyou and Guangyuan could become tourist hotspots in their own right, enriching the local population. Why not?
The hometown of Shixian. I stayed here with my girlfriend for a year and often visited this park. The cultural atmosphere is still very strong.
It is a cultural landscape corridor centered around the former residence of Li Bai, the great Tang Dynasty poet and "Poet Immortal." It is 40 kilometers from Mianyang City. The Li Bai Hometown Scenic Area offers a variety of delicious foods, such as shaokao (roasted pork belly), chuanchuanxiang (stir-fried skewers), and the most famous is the green leaf dumplings.
It's in Jiangyou. There is a direct train from Chengdu. It's very convenient.
Li Bai's hometown, I personally feel it is very ordinary, maybe it has something to do with my own cultural background
The Li Bai Hometown Scenic Area, located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, is a national 4A-level scenic area. It features numerous cultural relics and famous couplets depicting Li Bai's unrestrained and heroic life. The gardens are elegant and simple, making them well worth a visit. Please read my travelogue, "A Quick Visit to Li Bai's Hometown."
It's an ordinary cultural residence. Quite ordinary actually.
It's a bit remote, but you can enjoy paragliding in Doutuan Mountain.
Li Bai's hometown, located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou County, is a famous cultural attraction in Mianyang. I've visited there before by bicycle from downtown Mianyang. The entrance fee seems to be 50 yuan. Inside, you'll find items he used and lived in. Perhaps due to the passage of time, some of the houses have been renovated. The paved roads are now stone, which makes the area less historic. However, it's still a great place to learn about Li Bai's life.
Jiangyou is fun...
There are no relics, no poems, only modern architecture.
It feels so-so, just passing by...
Jiangyou's signature scenic spot, with good environmental protection and a great cultural and historical background, it's best to find a tour guide to visit the forest park to make the trip worthwhile...
It's not very big, and it doesn't seem to have much to offer. You can visit it in less than half a day.
I don't know if we went to the wrong place or what, but when we went there, many places were still under renovation. I didn't see what I wanted to see. It felt like many things were newly built later. I don't recommend it.
Jiangyou has a long history and rich culture, and has enjoyed the reputation of "Little Chengdu" since ancient times. Surrounded by mountains and lush green peaks, it houses Doutuan Mountain, where "farmers and woodcutters appear in and out of the painting" and contains the three wonders of China; there is Foye Cave, the largest karst cave in northwest Sichuan, and Qianyuan Mountain, one of the birthplaces of Taoism in northwest Sichuan; there are also the eternal culture and historical relics left by the romantic poet Li Bai; Xishan Park, Wetland Park, Sports Park, and the recently built Hundred Years of Happiness Love Valley, Qinglong Gorge Rafting... Jiangyou combines natural scenery, cultural history, and leisure and vacation, with beautiful mountains, waters and scenery.
The hometown has a lot of cultural heritage, you can feel it.
The scenery is average, and the cultural atmosphere is also average, which is a little different from the imagined Li Bai's former residence.
It's just okay. There's nothing to see. There's a swimming pool inside.
Borrowing the name of Li Bai, a Li Bai Memorial Hall was built.
The grand archway and courtyard display unearthed Li Bai's manuscripts and introduce Li Bai's life.
The environment is nice. It was off-season when I went there, so there were not many people and it was quite quiet. Come to think of it, this is the place that romantic poets like Li Bai like!
The scenery in the Li Bai Former Residence Scenic Area is average. Most of the attractions are newly built and not very interesting.
Li Bai's Reading Terrace is said to be where Li Bai often studied. The scenery here is quite nice.
It's not bad, you can go for a tour and visit, it would be better if you bring children with you, and you can recite a few poems by the way, hahaha~
Li Bai is a local representative, and many local things are related to Li Bai. Therefore, when you come here, you must visit Li Bai’s former residence. Not only can you understand the local culture, but you can also see the surrounding scenery!
Li Bai's Former Residence Scenic Area is a scenic spot built to commemorate Li Bai.
Li Bai's hometown is Jiangyou City, but there is nothing interesting to do there.
It's a cultural landscape. You can go and learn about it. The environment inside is pretty good.
There were only huge memorial archways and magnificent couplets, a few old gentlemen practicing calligraphy with brushes dipped in pond water, and a few small vendors setting up stalls...
If you visit places where Li Bai once lived, you must listen to their explanations. Only by listening to their explanations will you feel that it makes sense.
There are many places where Li Bai once lived, and there are many cultural geography related to Li Bai, which are worth learning and discussing.
This place is a bit hard to find; there are no signposts. I remember my junior high classmates and I going there. We had to take a bus from Hanzeng Town, get off under the Rangshui Bridge, walk toward Rangshui Hospital, and then go up the mountain. It's really hard to find. The Reading Terrace is the mountain where Li Bai studied as a child. There's a temple there, and it's a great place to go for a spring outing. You can see a portrait of Li Bai carved into a mosaic of rapeseed flowers.
Li Bai's hometown is in Jiangyou. I remember it was called Qinglian Ancient Town. It is several hundred kilometers away from Mianyang and takes more than 2 hours to drive. There is no entrance fee to Li Bai's hometown (I remember it was not required before). The whole building is very retro with red walls and black tiles. Entering the gate is a long corridor with some old houses on both sides. Walking further in is a large square. Usually there are not many people coming here to play, so it is relatively quiet. It is okay for a stroll.
Li Bai's hometown is in Qinglian Town, a small town far away from Jiangyou in Mianyang. A high-speed railway station has been built there, and the transportation is relatively convenient. The greening around and inside the scenic area is also relatively good.
But to be honest, this scenic spot doesn't have the characteristics it should have. It's called a historical site, but its heritage doesn't reach the depth it should have. It's called a natural scenic area, but there are few decent views and its characteristics are not distinct enough. If you plan to visit a distant place specifically, I wouldn't recommend this attraction. If you want to visit more attractions in Mianyang, you can visit Li Bai's hometown in Qinglian Town, a small town far from Jiangyou in Mianyang. There is a high-speed rail station built there, so transportation is relatively convenient. The greenery around and inside the scenic area is also relatively good.
But to be honest, this scenic spot does not have the characteristics it should have. It is a historical site but the heritage is not as deep as it should be. It is a natural scenic area but there are not many decent scenery. The characteristics are not distinct enough. If you plan to visit a place far away, I would not recommend this attraction. If you want to visit more attractions in Mianyang, you can go and see it.
