The Shuzheng Group Sea Scenic Area is the gateway to Jiuzhaigou's stunning scenery. The Shuzheng Group Sea ravine stretches 13.8 kilometers and boasts over 40 lakes (haizi), representing approximately 40% of all lakes in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. These 40-plus lakes, like shimmering mirrors, stretch along the ravine for five to six kilometers. The water shimmers, the waves ripple, birds sing, and reeds sway... Bonsai Lake, Reed Sea, Sparkling Sea, Crouching Dragon Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall, Tiger Lake... A journey of wonder, breathtaking scenery, crystalline waters, and a fairyland. The Shuzheng Group Sea, comprised of 19 lakes of varying sizes, resembles 19 emerald green jades embedded in this deep mountain valley, connected by verdant trees and silvery waterfalls, like a beautiful jade necklace adorning Shuzheng Village.

The Shuzheng Group Sea Scenic Area is the gateway to Jiuzhaigou's stunning scenery. The Shuzheng Group Sea Scenic Area stretches 13.8 kilometers and contains over 40 lakes (haizi), representing approximately 40% of all lakes in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Water from the upper haizi overflows the embankment and cascades through the trees, creating a white splash that dances and scatters through the lush greenery. The water cascades down the embankment, creating a series of graceful, ever-changing curtains of water. The entire group of lakes is distinctly layered, and the vibrant hues of green against a backdrop of blue create a fairytale-like, innocent and natural scene.
The Shuzheng Lake Group consists of 19 lakes of different sizes clustered in a terraced shape. The height difference between the large and small lakes is hundreds of meters. Each lake is colorful, surrounded by lush trees and blue water. It is known as the "miniature of Jiuzhaigou".
Shuzheng Lakes is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Jiuzhaigou. The layers of blue lakes are separated by yellow-green trees, which looks very beautiful at first glance.
However, you can't see the whole picture of Shuzheng Group Sea from the plank road. Only the drone perspective can better show why it is called "Group Sea".
At most scenic spots in Jiuzhaigou, there are two types of plank paths. One runs alongside the scenic bus route and is relatively wide, making it the preferred destination for most tour groups. The other, along the forested lakeside, is narrower and more winding, making it a great option for hikers with ample time. The plank path near Shuzheng Lake is similar. Since my friend and I were planning a two-day trip to Jiuzhaigou, we made a point of exploring the Shuzheng Lake forest path. Walking along the forest path, we were occasionally met with golden or orange-red foliage, creating a beautiful contrast against the scattered lakes of the Shuzheng Lakes. Our chosen route was largely deserted, and the path was relatively flat. Although the next attraction was about a kilometer away, taking photos and admiring the scenery from the viewing platforms along the way was a delightful experience.
My travel notes: Following the most beautiful autumn colors - Travel notes of Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and Bipenggou in Sichuan http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/21345961.html
They say that after visiting Jiuzhaigou, you won’t want to see water. The most amazing thing about Jiuzhaigou is its water. When I reached Laohuhai, I believed it. When there is no wind, the water in Jiuzhaigou is as still as a mirror and full of colors.
If you have enough energy, you might as well find a viewing platform, which would probably be better.

Each one is colorful, surrounded by lush green trees and blue water. It is known as the "miniature of Jiuzhaigou". If you look down at the lakes from a high place, the scenery is even more spectacular. Between these large and small lakes, there are willows, poplars, pines,
A place worth visiting, a wonder of nature
The small steps of the waterfall are not as majestic as the Norilang, but they complement the blue water.
This is the place that I think best represents Jiuzhaigou. Waterfalls, colorful forests, and lakes—these are everywhere in Tibetan areas, but it's here that the three are perfectly combined. The sight of clear water flowing through the trees and flowers is exactly what I imagined as a fairyland as a child. I wish I had come a couple of weeks later in 2008. Sadly, such an opportunity will never come again, thanks to last year's Jiuzhaigou earthquake, which destroyed this place entirely.
There is a section of water that is not deep and very clear, but it is full of long green aquatic plants. When the sun is reflected, the entire water surface is very lovely green. It should be the Shuzheng Group Sea.
The water from the upper lake overflows the embankment and spills through the trees, creating a wave of white water that dances and darts through the verdant landscape. The water tumbles along the embankment, forming curtains of water that are graceful and ever-changing. The entire group of lakes is clearly layered, and the blue-tinged hues of green create a fairytale-like, innocent and natural scene.
Jiuzhaigou is definitely a must-see destination. Anyone with ample time in Sichuan should definitely consider visiting it. While Jiuzhaigou isn't particularly scenic during the dry season, it's beautiful during the wet season, though crowded. However, daily visitor numbers are currently limited, and real-name registration is required, so those planning to visit should plan ahead.
But my cousin was wearing a panda hat and I just happened to capture it hahahahaha
The danger after the earthquake has not been completely eliminated, and tourists cannot move freely. They can only stand on the plank road and look out at the Shuzheng Qunhai.
The Shuzheng Lake Group is composed of 19 lakes of different sizes. The Shuzheng Lake Group may not be at its most beautiful in winter, but the 19 lakes are like 19 pieces of emerald green jade, inlaid in the deep mountains and valleys.
From the viewing platform, walk down the plank road and you can get close to the Bonsai Beach. Walk over the flowing water and travel through the mountains and forests.
The lake water is blue and the bottom is crystal clear.
The Shuzheng Lakes are the signature landscape of Jiuzhaigou's Shuzheng Valley. Composed of 19 lakes of varying sizes arranged in a terraced pattern, the area resembles a true fairytale world, with trees growing amidst the water and water flowing through the forest. A trestle bridge spans the shallows between the Shuzheng Lakes, offering stunning views of the rapids and the lakes. If you arrive early in the morning to explore Jiuzhaigou, don't go to the Shuzheng Lakes first. Be sure to ask for directions before boarding the bus. Take the shuttle bus that goes directly to the primeval forest, located at either end of the Y-shaped route on the valley map, and then explore the surrounding waters step by step. At this time, the upper and lower reaches of the Shuzheng Lakes are shadowed by the mountains, obscuring the true beauty of the waters. Sightseeing buses within the valley offer separate drop-offs at different locations at the valley entrance. The "shuttle bus" stops at the Shuzheng Lakes, so ask for directions before boarding. For a panoramic view of the Shuzheng Lakes, take the plank road near the highway. The best photo op is from the observation deck on the plank road.
The Shuzheng Group Lakes are the most beautiful section of the Shuzheng Valley. Here you can see lakes dotted in the valley, with distinct layers and charming colors. Downstream of the Shuzheng Waterfall, the river slope becomes gentler and the water flow is no longer turbulent.
Jiuzhaigou is so beautiful that it is worth a second visit.
The waterfall would be more beautiful if you visit it in spring or summer.
In winter, the water in Shuzhenggou is rich and gorgeous, and the various plants beside the lake also maintain their rich colors, unlike the slightly desolate trees on the shore of Wuhua Lake.
The lakes in Jiuzhaigou are very beautiful, each with its own unique characteristics, and they are also very cool in summer.
The group of lakes in Shuzhenggou are at the foot of Shuzheng Village, so it is said that it is better to appreciate them from Shuzheng Village. I did the opposite and walked along the lakeside opposite Shuzheng Village to appreciate the lakes and Shuzheng Village opposite. The weather was bad, cloudy, and it rained lightly. I feel that it would be more beautiful on a sunny day.
The Shuzheng Lakes are composed of 19 lakes of varying sizes arranged in a terraced pattern, with height differences of up to 100 meters between them. Each lake is vibrantly colored, surrounded by lush green trees and azure waters. It is known as the "miniature of Jiuzhaigou." The scenery is even more spectacular when viewed from above.
Between these large and small lakes, there are willows, poplars, pines, firs and other trees and many bushes. The lake water flows over the embankment from top to bottom, passes through the trees, forming wide waterfalls, performing the wonders of "trees growing in water, water flowing in the forest".
"Shuzheng Lakes" is a famous lake in Jiuzhaigou, surrounded by Shuzheng Waterfall. Personally, I think the Shuzheng Tibetan Village on the opposite hillside is also very beautiful.
Shuzheng Lake is the main part of Shuzheng Valley and one of the most famous attractions in Jiuzhaigou. It is very spectacular and beautiful from a bird's eye view.
Shuzheng Lake Group is a scenic spot close to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It is also a group of lakes next to Shuzheng Waterfall. It is composed of 19 lakes. The lakes and waterfalls in Jiuzhaigou are really beautiful. After returning to Jiuzhaigou, you can't miss the water!
"Densely packed" is the most appropriate way to describe Shuzheng Qunhai. Dozens of lakes, large and small, are like gems inlaid in the deep mountains and valleys. The trees growing in the water are like masters, guarding their own territories. This is probably the origin of the name.
This is Jiuzhaigou's most distinctive attraction, stretching for miles, with a height difference of nearly 100 meters. It comprises 19 lakes of varying sizes clustered in a terraced pattern. Between these lakes grow trees such as willows, poplars, pines, and fir, as well as a wide variety of shrubs. The lake water flows over the embankment, weaving through the trees to form wide waterfalls, creating a spectacular spectacle of "trees growing in water, water flowing through the forest." It has been called "Jiuzhaigou in miniature." The view of the Shuzheng Lakes from above is even more spectacular.

Judging by various blockbuster films, the Shuzheng Lakes, which encompass 40% of Jiuzhaigou's lakes, are more spectacular when viewed from above. Walking around the Shuzheng Lakes on both sides and photographing them simultaneously would take at least a full day.
The Shuzheng Lakes, located at an altitude of 2,187 to 2,280 meters, are composed of 19 lakes of varying sizes arranged in a terraced pattern, with a height difference of hundreds of meters between them. Each lake is vibrantly colored, surrounded by lush trees and azure waters. It has been called "a miniature Jiuzhaigou." Between these lakes, willows, poplars, pines, and fir trees, along with numerous shrubs, the waters flow over the embankments and through the trees, forming vast waterfalls. This spectacular spectacle showcases the concept of "trees growing in water, water flowing through the forest." This is the most vibrant spot in Jiuzhaigou, with azure waters and vibrant trees creating a beauty that seems unreal.
There are a group of large and small lakes, known as the Little Jiuzhaigou, each with its own unique features.
Walking along the plank road, there are more than 40 blue lakes, which are really beautiful.
Shuzheng Qunhai is just outside Dazhai. If you live in the village, it is recommended to stay in Nuorilang.
There are dead trees lying in the water of Meilan, which look like monsters at first glance and are very unique.
The earlier I saw the lake, the more beautiful it was. But it is not as good as the later ones.
After walking back to the center of Nuorilang from Nuorilang Waterfall, we were tired from the unremarkable scenery of Rhinoceros Lake and Tiger Lake, so we took a bus directly to Shuzheng Village. The largest of the nine white pagodas at the entrance represents Shuzheng Village. We circumambulated the pagoda and even experienced a prayer circumambulation. Across from Shuzheng Village is the Shuzheng Group Lake. The sunlight barely illuminated half of the landscape, which affected our point-and-shoot camera's photos. So, we didn't take many photos. We just wandered around the area before catching the bus to our next stop, Sparkling Lake.
The azure waters are as smooth as a mirror, and the lake is surrounded by dense forests. The waters are nestled in a thick layer of emerald green, resembling a shimmering emerald. As the morning mist dissipates and the dawn breaks, the sunlight refracts, creating a scene of sparkling, dancing, and shimmering stars on the surface. Hence the name Sparkling Lake.
The Shuzheng Lake Group consists of 19 lakes of different sizes. The 19 lakes are like 19 pieces of emerald green jade, inlaid in the deep mountains and valleys. They are connected by green trees and silver waterfalls in the middle, just like a beautiful jade necklace for Shuzheng Village.
There are more than 40 Haizi, please forgive me for not really seeing a few of them.
The water in the lake flows through the trees and falls to the sea surface on the next layer, forming a cascading waterfall, stirring up silver waves and rushing noisily downstream.
The weather was good that day, with sunshine~~~~~~
Located in Shuzhenggou, there are many unnamed lakes, but each one is different. It is almost a scene at every step. I lament that I know too few blue and green colors. It is very beautiful!
The Shuzheng Qunhai Scenic Area is the gateway to Jiuzhaigou's stunning scenery. The 13.8-kilometer-long Shuzheng Qunhai Scenic Area consists of 19 lakes, including Bonsai Lake, Reed Lake, Sparkling Lake, Wolong Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall, and Tiger Lake.
There are so many big and small lakes that I can’t take it all in. I really don’t want to leave this picturesque place.
It's so beautiful! Every vantage point offers breathtaking views. I spent two days in the ditch and still haven't seen it all. I'll definitely go back when I have time.
The reflection of Shuzheng Group Sea is a beautiful scenery
A long trestle bridge spans the shallows between the Shuzheng Group of Lakes. Visitors strolling along the bridge can admire the rapids and the surrounding lakes. Next to the bridge stands a Tibetan mill and a prayer wheel house. The prayer wheels, driven by the current, rotate endlessly day and night, symbolizing the continuous recitation of prayers and a sign of piety, adding a touch of Tibetan charm to the Shuzheng Group of Lakes.
Shuzheng Mill, the filming location of the poem “Heroes have always emerged from youth.”
Starting from Shuzheng Waterfall, we descended along the waterside walking path, experiencing a changing scenery with each step: turquoise water, a fairyland, and breathtaking views. We watched the ever-changing beauty unfold. The walking path was truly sparsely populated, with long stretches of time spent without a single person. This was when we truly experienced the sparsely populated beauty of Jiuzhaigou.
The Tibetan buildings in the distance are Shuzheng Village. It's the largest and most prosperous of the nine Tibetan villages in Jiuzhaigou, home to over 400 of Jiuzhaigou's 1,000 residents. Due to time constraints, we skipped that area. If you're interested in staying in Jiuzhaigou, this village is a great place to experience Tibetan life.
The Shuzheng Group Sea Scenic Area is the gateway to Jiuzhaigou's stunning scenery. The first bus stop in the scenic area is Shuzheng Village. Walking along the plank road, the first thing you see is Shuzheng Lake and Shuzheng Waterfall.
The first sight was quite stunning. The water was very clear and very green. The tourists around were all in awe. There were a lot of people taking photos, so please be careful.
Because the view is very wide, the sun will be very strong, and it is inconvenient to hold an umbrella when there are many people, so try to apply sunscreen before going out. Many young guys have started to apply it, so girls should not be lazy.
I just followed the tour bus around and saw the beautiful scenery and good air. It would be better if there were fewer people.
Walking down the plank road, each lake has its own charm. There were not many people that day, so I walked and took pictures along the way, and felt that there were beautiful scenery everywhere.
We took the cable car from the entrance and the first stop was Shuzheng Lake, so this was our first impression of Jiuzhaigou. There were many lakes scattered among the colorful forests, which was very beautiful even on a cloudy day.
Unknown flowers bloomed on the surface of the Shuzheng Lakes, resembling purple frost. Looking at them, I felt the chill of winter. Just seeing this alone made me have no regrets about visiting Jiuzhaigou in early spring. Its beauty is elegant, reserved, and unpredictable, unlike the intense heat of midsummer.
Shuzheng Lake should be the first stop for the bus in Jiuzhaigou. As soon as you get off, you can feel the feeling of being in a paradise on earth. The lake is clear blue, and with the mist on the mountainside, you will fall in love with Shuzheng Lake.
The name "Qun Hai" is true to its name. The lakes are intertwined one after another. It is really beautiful and indescribable. It is a pity that the plank road on the mountain side was not open in February. Such beautiful scenery can be photographed by the road. I think the most beautiful time should be in late autumn. The mountains are covered with red and yellow leaves, and the blue lake water is really beautiful.
There are more than 40 lakes (haizi) of various types in Shuzheng Group of Lakes, accounting for about 40% of all the lakes in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Although the water color and scenery are slightly inferior to the lakes in the other two valleys, they win in number. Large and small lakes are stacked on top of each other from top to bottom, with waterfalls and rivers crisscrossing in between. It really is a scene at every step!
You can see it if you sit on the left side when going up in the car, and you can walk past it when going down.

The water is beautiful, but the snow-capped mountains are also beautiful haha~
The panoramic view from above is beautiful, but unfortunately I can't take a photo of it.
In addition to beauty, every blade of grass and every tree constitutes a landscape.
The Shuzheng Lake Group consists of many large and small lakes. The water is very clear and the scenery is beautiful.
The trees in the winter are really missing something. They should be very beautiful in autumn and summer. In winter, most of the trees are withered and look a bit depressed.
It's right opposite Shuzheng Village. Compared to the individually famous lakes in Jiuzhaigou, Qunhai Lake is like a collection of anonymous extras (official data says there are 19 of them). In fact, with a telephoto lens, the close-up scenery is not inferior to those independently introduced lakes.
It is very beautiful. It is best to walk along the outer walking path to see the Shuzheng Group Sea from above. You will feel shocked. If you walk along the walking path on the side of the mountain, although it is beautiful, you will always feel that the picture is a bit narrow.
Any scenic spot in Jiuzhaigou is beautiful, with beautiful water and beautiful mountains.
Although it is also very beautiful, its color is still slightly inferior to other lakes in Jiuzhaigou!
Many lakes are connected in a string, I like the scenery
The Shuzheng Lakes stretch for miles, with a height difference of nearly 100 meters. Composed of 19 lakes of varying sizes arranged in a terraced pattern, they are the most concentrated lake group in Jiuzhaigou. Between these lakes, willows, poplars, pines, and fir trees, as well as a wide variety of shrubs, grow. The colors of the lakes are remarkably vibrant: the trees are lush green, the leaves are vibrant yellow and fiery red, the lakes are a rich blue, and the cascading waterfalls and splashing water are ethereal white. This enchanting scene unfolds in layers, earning it the nickname "Jiuzhaigou in miniature."
The scenery is so beautiful that it cannot be expressed in words. When you are there, you can't imagine how beautiful the lake can be.
The Shuzheng Lakes are located between Jinghai Lake and Nuorilang Waterfall. They consist of about 40 small lakes of varying sizes. Although they are not as colorful as Wuhua Lake or as large as Changhai Lake, they definitely have the largest number of lakes.
Full marks! Shuzhenggou is a great place to visit first.
