The driver came to Shuhe Ancient Town to pick us up. He explained the tour in detail and spoke humorously. When we arrived at Yunshanping Blue Moon Valley, the scenery was very good. It was really beautiful to shoot the snow-capped mountains from the perspective of Blue Moon Valley. We had a delicious local chicken hot pot for lunch. The Glacier Park was very beautiful and it was a very happy travel experience.

Coming down from Yunshanping, you will come to Baishui River, two small waterfalls, and a rocky beach. Going further down, you will reach Blue Moon Valley.

The cool breeze and boundless beauty couldn't withstand the scorching sun, so sunscreen was a must, or you'd be completely covered in charcoal after just one lap. The river was crowded, and capturing a deserted scene required both the photographer and the subject to employ challenging poses.

Baishui River has Yuye Lake, Jingtan Lake, Blue Moon Lake and Tingtao Lake, which are very clear and not polluted at all. The water here is all the accumulated water from the melted glaciers on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Because there is a layer of chemical substances at the bottom of the lake, the water we see is blue-green, which is very magical. If it rains, you will see white. Many people take wedding photos here.

It is said that if you wash your hands in Baishui River for the first time, you will get promoted and rich, the second time you will be healthy, the third time you will have good luck in love, and the fourth time you will get pregnant.

I personally prefer the spot where the photo below was taken. It's at the very upper reaches of the Baishui River, closest to the snow-capped mountains, and relatively sparsely populated.
