Yuji Island is actually a peninsula, extending from Shuanglang Ancient Fishing Village to Erhai Lake. Yuji Island is probably known to everyone because of Yang Liping's Sun Palace. Although Yang Liping no longer lives on Yuji Island and the Sun Palace has become Qinglu, it still cannot stop tourists from loving it. Tickets are ￥10 per person, and there are tour guides wearing Bai costumes to take you on a tour.

The ticket to the island is ¥10/person. Cars are not allowed to enter. When we drove to the gate, someone came to stop us and said that cars cannot enter the island and we need to get off to buy a ticket. We stopped the car and walked in again, but no one checked. In the end, we walked in without buying a ticket.

The more famous attractions on the island are the Sun Palace and the Moon Palace. We just walked around and didn’t pay much attention to the introduction of the attractions.

The alley was very narrow, and the stone road under my feet had been worn smooth. When I walked to the beach, it was like discovering another open world. The clear and bright lake reflected the blue sky and white clouds, and the back was set off by the endless Cangshan Mountains.

Tips: Although the temperature is comfortable, the ultraviolet rays here should not be underestimated! Be sure to take sunscreen well! One hour of sun exposure will cause your skin to peel for a week.

Yuji Island is really not an experience at all. I rode an electric bike to the entrance and was blocked by a few people who looked like they were watching a KTV. They asked for a 10 yuan ticket and did not allow electric bikes to enter. After entering, I saw a lot of electric bikes inside. Many people, including tourists and locals, did not buy tickets. Electric bikes went in and out directly. I don’t know how they charge and manage this. The Moon Palace and the Sun Palace are just names, which are all hyped up. You have to spend a minimum of 100 yuan on coffee before you can see it. It’s really a disappointment, fuck!

It is quite noisy and crowded, similar to the style of Houhai in Beijing. Middle-aged and elderly people are unable to accept it. It is not a place I would go to on purpose.

Visitors to Yuji Island need to pay extra for tickets, but the attractions are very average and not recommended.

If you are not staying in a waterfront homestay on the island, or visiting or staying at Yang Liping's hotel, you really should not go to this island, even if the ticket is only 10 yuan. At first, I thought that like the Haishe Park to the Xizhou Ancient Town, Yuji Island, as a protrusion extending into Erhai Lake in the Shuanglang area, would have some unique landscapes. But in fact, like other places on the shore of Shuanglang, it is full of houses. Especially Yang Liping's hotel here, I don't think it has set a good example. It is also very abruptly built on the shore of the island, which leads to people who do not want to go into the hotel, but want to walk to the shore to see the ruins of the ancient artillery platform, and have to climb up and down along the edge of the hotel's outer wall to make a circle. And the viewing area is also very small.

Walking along the stone road, we came to a crowded alley, which turned out to be the alley leading to Yuji Island. There were inns and small shops all around. There were also art galleries related to Yang Liping along the way.

The island has well-preserved Bai architecture, represented by white walls, green tiles and light ink paintings, as well as some temples.

Yuji Island is the filming location for movies such as "Children of the Five Golden Flowers" and "Erhai Moon". It gathers the essence of Cang'er scenery and has the reputation of "the first village of Cang'er scenery".

I wandered around Yuji Island and saw Yang Liping's Moon Palace and Sun Palace, which are at the end of Yuji Island and have beautiful scenery. The ticket to Yuji Island is 10 yuan, and there are guides wearing Bai ethnic costumes to lead you around the island.

The alleys became more and more narrow, and because there were few tourists, we almost booked Yuji Island. It's great to feel like a local~~~ The road became more and more narrow... Suddenly, we reached the open water! Now when I recall it, I can only say that it is too beautiful. It is simply, super, value for money~ Under the blue sky and white clouds, feel the good years~ After passing it, there is a particularly good viewing platform, which is simply a 180-degree view of the Erhai Lake without dead ends! I felt that we tourists came from a very far place to play in Shuanglang and contribute to Shuanglang tourism. Why can't we get the respect of local business people? I felt uncomfortable and called the police. The store owner threatened me that if I did that, he would not let me leave. I called various complaint numbers to no avail. These complaint numbers were like ears of the deaf. I called 110, and the local police asked me to go to the police station at 8 o'clock in the evening. I was not feeling well because I was scolded for no reason. I said I could not go. The police replied that if I did not go, they would not care! I called 110 again to prepare for the complaint. I called 110 five times before the police came to the inn to dispatch police! I can't describe how angry and helpless I felt at that time! Later, the police came and I asked the store to apologize, but the store apologized reluctantly. I stayed at Yujidao Sunny Day Inn, which is a store called (Yujidao Non-staple Food) at the entrance of the alley at the intersection of Sunny Day Inn. Everyone should be careful when buying things. The store not only disrespects us tourists from other places, but also abuses tourists at will, and even charges more money when selling things because we are tourists! There is no way to complain about any problems in Shuanglang tourism! I traveled thousands of kilometers to Shuanglang, and besides the beautiful Erhai Lake, the rest really made me speechless and disappointed!
