Hehehehe, Guanyin Gorge, the second brush, the needle does not poke

By Zibing's Dream |

Guanyin Gorge is known as the number one scenic spot in Lijiang, and it originated from the tea-horse trade in the ancient southwestern frontier.

By Shrine |

If you don't have enough time, you can ignore this place. First, the transportation is not very convenient. The bus takes half an hour and drives slowly. You can only find a sports car driver. There are some good ancient courtyards in the scenic area, and there are also some modern facilities for climbing and long jumping. It is recommended to play for 3 hours

By Star |

I have never been to such a bad place! The cable car and glass plank road are not clean! The staff have a bad attitude and look like they want to eat people!

By cabin |

Is there any place in the world more difficult to play than this?

By 🐈 |

How would I describe this place? It's a moderately recommended experience. The ticket price is quite high, and while it's fun, it's not worth the money. There's a small lake right after the entrance, filled with goldfish. The first attraction is the glass plank road, which is the most expensive. It's fun, but at over 100 yuan, it's still a bit pricey, as it's not very long and doesn't have the usual shattering glass effects. There's also a welding car ride that takes you into the canyon, where you can see the waterfall. There's also a statue of Guanyin in a cave next to the waterfall.

What I enjoyed most in Guanyin Gorge was the water, which was incredibly clear. The saying that clear water means no fish doesn't apply in Lijiang. Any place with water can become a mirror to the sky. The glass plank road, the tour bus into the canyon, and the cascading waterfalls made me feel like I was in a painting. At 3 p.m., I was ready to leave for Lijiang Old Town. While waiting for the bus, I strolled to the nearby village. Its whitewashed walls and blue bricks were very clean. In the square, an elderly man played chess, enjoying a leisurely afternoon.

By Colorful Light |

This is definitely a beautiful, overlooked area. When we visited, there were very few tourists, and the area within sight was barely a few people. I highly recommend taking a boat! Many of the views are best seen from the middle of the lake. The trolley is also worth a try; it's thrilling, but safe. There are plenty of benches along the way for resting, but I didn't see any water for sale, so I recommend bringing your own. However, this was a few years ago, so I'm not sure what happened now.

Liming Ecological Park next to Guanyin Gorge, a day trip, sunbathing, and barbecue

By Y |

Personally, I think Guanyin Gorge is not fun and I don’t recommend visiting here. The ticket price is not cheap either, more than 200 yuan per person, which is not cost-effective.

By vichien |

If you don't have enough time, you can take a roller coaster to a big waterfall first. It's okay! You can take more photos and stop there. It's enough to take a bird's-eye view on the glass plank road! There are a few small springs and ponds near the Guanyin Hall that you can take a look at. If you buy a pass and take a boat when you leave, it will go directly to the entrance.

By Sweet |

Guanyin Gorge offers scenic views and an amusement park. The environment is much better than Lashi Lake and is highly recommended.

By fan |

Upon entering, I thought it was quite nice. Getting married there was fine. It's a local park, and locals get in free. The glass plank walkway is only a short section, the dry slide is boring, and the zip line isn't thrilling at all. I completely regret coming here. I highly recommend it. If you really want to go, you can take the bus and buy a ticket. There's a bus back to Lijiang at the entrance for 10 yuan per person, which is very convenient. There's no need to join a tour group.

By Blue sky |

Guanyin Gorge is a newly developed scenic spot, and many facilities are still being improved. I think it is quite fun and suitable for men, women, and children of all ages.

Super invincible super shitty chicken has nothing and is expensive

By A scoundrel |

To be honest, I really don't recommend going there. I really regret going here in Yunnan.

By Jian'an |

It's just average. There's a paint booth in the middle of the park, and the paint smell is terrible. It's okay for children to play there, but it's not interesting for adults.

Regret going here, it's just a park, a waste of time and money

By China-TravelNote users |

Originally they were going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but they said they would regret it if they went there, so they went to Guanyin Gorge. There was nothing outstanding there, but the scenery was nice. There wasn't much to do there, but the waterfall above was a good place to take pictures.

By Mr. Weng |

Typical driver-recommended attractions. I just took a quick look, and while there are some local features, there are also some places found all over the country that are simply labeled Yunnan. Student tickets are also quite affordable.

By Who can compete with you? |

After visiting, I think it's a good place to go and have fun.

By Yixiu |

In fact, it is just an ordinary small park. There is a Bilian entrance fee of dozens of yuan, haha, and boating takes 30 yuan for a few minutes. Except for a few pools, the water is too dirty. The Ancient Tea Horse Road is not accessible. The glass plank road costs more than 100 yuan. It is currently the most deceptive stop in Lijiang.

By BIGEBIN |

To be honest, I don't recommend this place at all. When we arrived in Lijiang, most of the scenic spots were closed for rectification, so we had no choice but to follow the inn owner's advice and went to Guanyin Gorge. Haha, when we got there, I really felt like a thousand scams were floating in front of us. To put it bluntly, this is an artificial scenic spot, and to some extent, it cannot compare with the beauty and comfort of some open parks in our south. The key point is that the ticket price for Guanyin Gorge Scenic Area is really not cheap, and there is also a glass plank road that is completely unnecessary to experience.

By Liny﹎❀ |

Guanyin Gorge is still worth a visit. It is cost-effective to book tickets online. It costs 150 per person, including private car pick-up, glass plank road, dry slide, and electric rail car. You can take the electric rail car directly to Guanyin Waterfall. Otherwise, it is still a bit tiring to walk up.

By ' huiiiii 👿😱👻 |

Snacks and lunch options are available both inside and outside the scenic area, and the prices are reasonable. However, I personally felt the scenic area was just average, and the three-hour visit was about right. The scenery is nice, but unfortunately, it's dominated by a large artificial lake, boat tours, and a glass plank road, which detracts from the natural feel. A package ticket costs around 200 yuan per person, including the boat tour, glass plank road, dry slide, and transfers.

By Xiaocai sister's sister's head |

It's packed with locals, so I'd take my kids there on weekends. As a tourist, I don't think it's necessary. The entrance fee includes the glass plank road and slide, so it's worth a try if you haven't tried it. Guanyin Gorge is conveniently located on the way to Lijiang Old Town.

By Tingting |

Guanyin Gorge is about half an hour from the airport. I didn't want to rush, so I took a boat tour and wandered around. It was pretty good. It was fun. That's why I didn't want to join a tour group. Maybe the overall cost would be lower, but it's still not as relaxing as traveling on my own.

Tickets: 50/person (Senior citizens get half price tickets, but must bring ID and senior citizen group)

Cruise ticket: 30/person

There are other glass plank roads, but people over 65 are not allowed to play.

By Camilla |

Guanyin Gorge was a pleasant surprise for me. An hour's drive from Lijiang Old Town, it's rarely visited by tourists. It's filled with long-time locals, and like a city park, there's no entrance fee. But it's much larger than a park. I was surprised to see many elderly Naxi women dancing. When I saw them photographing them, they adjusted their clothes and gave me smiles that ranged from dignified to playful. I asked them if they came here every day to sunbathe. They said they'd dance after sunbathing, and then sunbathe again after dancing. I loved their earnest, endearing, and kind expressions. There are so many places here perfect for posing.

By Hammer Sister |

Guanyin Gorge is a bucolic spot perfect for both young and old, offering a relaxing day out. The scenic area boasts an artificial lake, waterfalls, a glass plank road, a dry track, a boat tour, the Ancient Tea Horse Road, and Naxi culture.

By China-TravelNote users |

This attraction is such a rip-off. The waterfall in the canyon is black and the water is smelly. I felt bad after going there.

By Lazy Cat |

Guanyin Gorge Scenic Area is the entrance to Yulong Pass, one of the six major passes in the Lijiang Basin. Located at Yulong Pass, one of the three major passes in the Lijiang Basin, it is known as "Lijiang's No. 1 Scenic Spot." Guanyin Gorge in Lijiang is a scenic area that combines natural landscapes such as mountains, canyons, forests, and lakes with cultural attractions such as the Ancient Tea Horse Street, Naxi villages, folk customs, and religious customs. "The long and majestic Qiutang Road, the enduring love between the Tea Horse and Yunnan-Tibet" is a portrayal of Guanyin Gorge in Lijiang. It can be said to be the first dangerous pass and fortress on the Yunnan-Tibet section of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Xu Xiake once entered Lijiang through this pass and described Qiutang Pass as the "key to Li County." Passing through this "key to Li County" means entering the gate to Lijiang, and passing through this gate is considered the main entrance to Lijiang.

By yinii |

It would be more fun if it didn't rain. You have to choose the right season to go to Yunnan.

By China-TravelNote users |

It's a very good place, newly developed, with nice scenery. I signed up for a tour group in Lijiang Ancient Town, which included round-trip transportation, tickets there, glass plank road, dry slide, electric slide, and boat ride. It only cost 150, which is a very reasonable price. The scenery and things to do there are also very good. I recommend going there.

By YayaYes |

The scenery is very good, but climbing up the mountain is a bit tiring.

By Gradient |

I just want to say one word for Guanyin Gorge: pit! Two words would be: big pit! Simply put, it's just a park! A short glass plank road and a slide that hurts your butt (it's not really a slip, it's tiled and difficult to slide, so be careful if you're wearing expensive clothes) cost 108 yuan! A 2-3 minute boat ride from one side to the other in the pond costs 32 yuan! Final advice: be careful, otherwise you will regret it! I can't complain anymore.

By ✈️Dream |

The environment is OK. It costs 320 for two people, which feels a bit rip-off because we went on the 10th. There is no entrance fee to enter the park. The dry slide and glass plank road inside are charged. The glass plank road is only a small section. Personally, I think there is no need to go because we have it there and it is much cheaper. They charge 108 for outsiders and 50 for locals. I feel that they are really designed to rip off outsiders. The waterfall inside looks nice. Other things like boating, etc., I personally feel unnecessary. 35 for dozens of meters, there are many people, and the water is dirty. It is totally unnecessary! ! ! Guanyin Gorge is similar to the Baohe scenic spot in Shaanxi, and it is not even as big as that one. 😓 I suggest that everyone should not go if they can!

By L Mao |

How should I put it? I was cheated by the proprietress of the inn. The proprietress bought tickets for me at a travel agency for 240 yuan per person, and they also charged the ticket for my 81-year-old grandfather. As a result, when we arrived at the scenic area, they said that old people were free of charge. After returning to the inn, I negotiated with the proprietress for a refund, but they were hesitant and refused to refund the money. The 240 yuan included 108 yuan for the glass plank road. When we arrived at the scenic area, they also said that people over 60 years old were not allowed to walk on the plank road. At that time, I negotiated with the inn and said that we would refund all the glass plank road tickets for my grandfather. As a result, after we came back, the three of us only got a total refund of 120 yuan. Although I was stupid, it can be regarded as buying experience. I hope that future tourists will see this and avoid these unpleasant experiences. It is best to be wary of the innkeeper's recommendation, especially this time our innkeeper's wife is also from Dalian. It's a good idea to meet old friends in a foreign land!

By Yefeng free tour |

The scenery is not very good. If you have time, go to Tiger Leaping Gorge or Baishuitai.

By Charlene |

It is a relatively complete artificially developed scenic spot, which is very relaxing, has a variety of entertainment activities, and is also suitable for family outings.

By His Royal Highness Wang Jiuye |

Lijiang Guanyin Gorge is a very nice place with beautiful scenery, mountains, water, birds, fish, and waterfalls. It feels great to visit. The only downside is that it feels too commercial. It is obviously a natural attraction, but it has inexplicably inserted many cultural and paid attractions, which is really inconsistent.

By My hometown is where my heart is at peace |

This is a truly terrible attraction. The service is incredibly poor, the money-grabbing mentality is 100%, and there are scams everywhere. The order is incredibly poor. Anyone who visits will regret it for the rest of their life. Yunnan tourism lacks service, but Guanyin Gorge is absolutely devoid of it.

By Gigigi_sh |

This scenic spot is the worst one I visited in 5 days!

Don't believe the innkeeper's lies and come here!

There's nothing but shopping spots, the landscape is all artificial, and the infrastructure is terrible! The infrastructure is terrible! The infrastructure is terrible! There's even a huge muddy area!

Terrible service attitude! Terrible service attitude! Terrible service attitude! There were no staff at all! There was no staff to maintain order on the slide, and it was so blocked that I couldn't slide down!!!

By Free beggar |

Very bad, it's contracted by an individual, the archery project is forced to buy and sell, and there are frequent fights with tourists!

By Yuan Weiyi (YY) |

It is a scenic spot worth visiting. The children are very happy to climb up the glass plank road, and it is very exciting to slide down the long slide from it.

By J_J |

It is indeed a relatively poor tourist attraction. Some attractions are for content and history, some for experience and perception. This place is neither of them, but they did not forget to charge - 220 yuan. I hope the people there are healthy and live long.

By Taijun Li Dada |

I really don't recommend it! It's not worth the price! I hesitated before going to Shuhe Ancient Town or Guanyin Gorge, but I finally came to Guanyin Gorge, but I was disappointed

By Panda Jumping Pu |

I went there, and the separate ticket cost ¥50.00. There wasn't much information about the role of Guanyin Gorge as part of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The rest of the glass plank road and slide were charged separately. I thought I could climb up, but it turned out I had to buy a ticket for the glass plank road or slide to get up. Otherwise, I could only walk around below. There were too many signs of artificial modification below, and it was still under repair, so there wasn't much to see... I really don't recommend it!!!

By Big-faced cat |

The two dogs in the scenic area are very enthusiastic, you can feel it when you go there

By Pisces without fighting |

Guanyinxia, the other courtyard of Mufu, has average scenery and good transportation

By Mr. Xiao Ming |

Guanyin Gorge is the tourist attraction closest to my home. When I have nothing to do, I always ask my friends to go there to play together!

By rqrqzju |

This is a truly awful attraction. Aside from one natural waterfall, everything else is man-made. Admission is 50 yuan, with a 32 yuan train ride up the mountain and a 32 yuan boat ride. The boat ride ends at the other side of a pond. There are various fees within the scenic area, and you have to "go with the flow" to cross the suspension bridge. It's truly terrible! Don't come!

By gimoon |

The scenery is average, with too much cultural imprint. It's just a big park. There's really nowhere else to go in Lijiang, so you can go and see it. The waterfall inside is pretty good.

By Happy Little Friends |

There is no direct bus, so we took the inn owner's car for 100 yuan, and he also helped us buy the package ticket for 110 yuan per person.

By 🐱Make money to support Tangtang & Yanyan🐱 |

There are only two waterfalls here, one of which has too many artificial traces. They are all from tour groups. There is Huanglong jade sold at the door. There are all kinds of people taking pictures and paying for photos along the way. It is not worth coming here.

By wzp |

I saw the long-lost rainbow, be careful when shopping!

By light raindrops |

It's been a long time, I've forgotten it a little bit, it seems to have no special features, just like the mountains in Jiangsu and Zhejiang

By Tang Er Youth |

As an outing, it is good to get close to nature. There is nothing special about the scenery.

By Yuri |

I don't recommend going there! First, it has a strong industrial feel. It's a tourist area that hasn't been fully developed yet. The haunted house ads everywhere are shoddy! The service was also terrible, which ruined my mood for the whole day!

By Diamond Candy |

The group reported from China-TravelNote, 85 includes rail car and cruise, the scenery is very good, I personally feel it is worth going, half a day is enough

By Xiao Min |

The first scenic spot I visited in Yunnan, my curiosity and expectation were fully satisfied, the fresh air, the unique architecture, the cleansing of the soul!

By It's so troublesome to name |

I think the scenery is just average, so you don't have to go unless you have a lot of free time.

By Tiny little ants |

Not a bad place, worth a visit...

By After enduring the hardship, there will be sunny days |

Guanyin Gorge, a key thoroughfare along the Ancient Tea Horse Road leading in and out of Lijiang, blends natural and cultural attractions, including lakeside scenery, canyon waterfalls, folk and religious customs, Naxi villages, the ancient Tea Horse Street, and a time tunnel. One wall is inscribed with Naxi characters, which are truly pictographic, just like paintings.

By Past |

I was cheated when I entered. What impressed me most was the water here, which was crystal clear. I went there in January and there were very few tourists, so it was worth a visit.

By Lynn |

Guanyin Gorge is a popular spot for Lijiang locals, but it's not necessary for tourists from other places to visit. The scenic area is located between the ancient city and the airport. After entering the scenic area, you can walk a short distance on the mountain road to see the waterfall. There are also boat tours available, but the lake is very small. It's a good place for locals to just wander around and have fun.

By Pig who loves yogurt |

I went to Guanyin Gorge because I saw the movie "A Romance in Lijiang." The filming wasn't great, but I was mesmerized by the scenery. I met a local tour guide who took me to Guanyin Gorge. It wasn't crowded, but Lijiang is truly a place of scenery everywhere. Sometimes I feel like an idiot; no matter where I go, it's just stunning. Every scene has its own unique charm. I've been to many places, but Yunnan is a place I miss even before I've left.

By Ping Tiancai |

It's very beautiful! It's interesting to take a car up, and then take a boat down. It's actually quite rushed when going with a tour group, so we got off in a hurry.

By Yu Xin |

Guanyin Gorge is a waterfall, and you can walk under the waterfall.

By Capsule Moon |

It's a lesser-known attraction. If you're traveling with a tour group, they'll take you there. If you're traveling on your own, there's no need to go. It doesn't have any Yunnan characteristics at all. They sell roasted yak beef there. I don't know if it's genuine, but it's quite delicious.

By Eileen |

It's a very unique place. Since we couldn't go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that day and the cable car was closed, we had to change the itinerary temporarily. There is a statue of Guanyin there, a white, very elegant Guanyin Bodhisattva. There is a stream in front of the door. A double rainbow appeared that day. It's so beautiful. There are also trains and boats. It's still very interesting. You can go and have a look.

By Peter Pan's Fairy Tale |

The Guanyin Gorge Scenic Area in Lijiang, Yunnan is located in Qihe Township, 17 kilometers southeast of Lijiang City, covering an area of more than 10 square kilometers. It is a comprehensive scenic area that integrates natural landscapes such as mountains, lakes, canyons, waterfalls, and forests with cultural landscapes such as Naxi villages, ancient tea-horse streets, folk customs, religious temples, and historical sites. It is known as the No. 1 scenic spot in Lijiang.

By South on the Road |

It is another unpopular tourist attraction with few people, and most tourists just take a quick look.

The most spectacular thing is the waterfall. The characteristic commercial street is good. I bought a lot of things and was determined to learn Dongba characters.
