Daluoshui Village

大洛水村

It is the earliest developed village around Lugu Lake, divided into two parts: upper and lower water.
The entire village is made up of Mosuo people's wooden houses, which do not use a single nail or bricks. They are not only warm in winter and cool in summer, but are also earthquake-proof.
The village has relatively complete service facilities, a full range of shops, and many small shops selling special souvenirs. It is the first choice for tourists visiting Lugu Lake.
There are many pig trough boats near the lake. Visitors can pay to take a boat tour of the lake and visit two small islands on the lake.
Every night, the local Mosuo people will wear traditional costumes and perform songs and dances, which is very lively. You can also barbecue in the tents set up by the lake.

Daluoshui Village is a must-visit place for most tourists to Lugu Lake. In Daluoshui Village, along the lakeshore are wooden houses of Mosuo people, most of which have now been transformed into hotels that provide accommodation. At night, the local Mosuo people will wear traditional costumes and perform songs and dances. After enjoying the ethnic songs and dances, you can also go to the tents set up by the lake to have a barbecue. There is a winding gravel path by the Xialuoshui Lake. The Mosuo people on the roadside have converted their homes into hotels. The wooden houses lined up along the path are beautiful and unique. There are bars, department stores, specialty stores, etc.

Daluoshui Village belongs to Lugu Lake under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Province. It has nice scenery and convenient accommodation and food. It is about 22 kilometers away from the scenic spots of Lugu Lake under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, such as Caohai and Walking Marriage Bridge.

With the popularity of "Dear Inn", more and more boutique homestays have opened in Lugu Lake. There are almost homestays in the entire lake area, but the most convenient one is Daluoshui Village, which is the earliest developed place in Lugu Lake with convenient transportation and complete facilities. Especially in recent years, due to the implementation of environmental protection policies, most of the homestays near the lake have been demolished, and only a few old-fashioned first-line lake view inns are left, which are basically gathered along the shore of Daluoshui Village.

Most tourists coming from Lijiang will choose this place to stay for the first night. It is the largest village on the Yunnan side of Lugu Lake. The surrounding scenery is amazing. You can also take a pig trough boat to visit the opposite Liwubi Island.

My Yunnan Travel Notes: I am waiting for the wind to come here - Yunnan Lijiang / Lugu Lake / Shangri-La Travel Notes http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/17066239.html

Daluoshui Village is the area with the highest concentration of hotels and restaurants in Lugu Lake. It is also the area with the highest concentration of tourist groups. Accommodation in Daluoshui Village is relatively cost-effective (accommodation in Lige Peninsula is recommended next)

In fact, there is nothing special to see in Daluoshui. You can just walk along the lake. There are many pig trough boats on the shore of Daluoshui, so it is quite suitable for taking photos.

Generally, boatmen start to work around 8 o'clock, so friends who want to take pictures should come early~

In addition, there are two or three boats on the shore of Daluoshui that are placed there specifically for tourists to take pictures. They are located on the far left of all the pig trough boats and there is no license plate on the bow.

The distance from Daluoshui to Liwubi Island is relatively short, and the boat ride costs 60 yuan. After arriving at Liwubi Island by boat, the boatman will give tourists 20 minutes to let them go to the island by themselves. There is a Lama temple on the island. However, because there are many tourists, it is often necessary to queue for one or two hours during the peak tourist season, and usually the boatman will force tourists to choose to "go around Liwubi Island" halfway through the row, and each person will pay an additional 50 yuan. Whether this information is accurate needs to be verified by tourists who have been to Liwubi Island in person (I went to the island where "Dear Inn" is located, not Liwubi Island)

A sister recommended this place to me during my trip, and I found it really beautiful when I went there.

If you are alone, I suggest staying in Daluoshui Village, where transportation and dining are convenient. The owner of the youth hostel helped me to arrange a car for my return trip. It is very affordable.

If you are traveling with friends or driving by yourself, I suggest staying in Rig Peninsula because it really feels like a fairyland.

By routing |

It is very convenient to eat in Daluoshui. Several popular restaurants require queuing during the peak season. It costs 50 yuan per person to take a boat from Daluoshui Pier to Liwubi Island. The boatman on the boat will ask if you need to go around Liwubi Island, which will cost an additional 30 yuan per person. Generally, everyone is willing to pay the additional 30 yuan to go around the island.

Daluoshui Village is the best choice when coming from Lijiang. There are many inns to choose from and a lot of food to eat.

Luogu Village is located in Sichuan. It still follows the custom of walking marriage. It is a good place to learn about Mosuo culture and experience Mosuo life. Most of the restaurants and inns along the street are run by villagers themselves, and some are rented by outsiders. Most of the houses in this village look quite old.

By Chili |

According to the instructions on the Internet, Daluoshui Village is a place that every tourist who comes to Lugu Lake will not miss.

Along the Daluoshui Lake are wooden houses of Mosuo people. The unique houses are scattered around Lugu Lake, full of ethnic customs. In the evening, the local Mosuo people will wear traditional costumes and perform songs and dances.

There are still a lot of pig trough boats here, gathered together like small hairpins in Lugu Lake.

Tips:

1: It would be more convenient to find a homestay in Daluoshui Village.

2: You can negotiate the price when taking a boat, there is still a chance you can get it down.

By Matcha Mama |

This is the largest village in Lugu Lake in Yunnan. There are many inns, bars and restaurants with different characteristics along the lake. The small restaurant does not accept credit cards, only cash or Alipay. The commercial atmosphere here is quite strong. Compared with Ninglang Village where we lived, it seems much noisier.

There are colorful pig trough boats docked on the lake, and you can see the Goddess Gem Mountain in the distance.

By Huang Xiangning |

The beauty of Lugu Lake depends mainly on the weather. In general, the area around Lig Peninsula is more beautiful.

By red ant |

The weather was bad, and there were few people in Daluoshui Village. The lake had already flooded the road, and visibility was very high. Walking on this poetic stone road was very leisurely! Here I realized that most of the time when traveling, you don’t need amazing scenery. Walking hand in hand in this relaxed and slow time, all worries are thrown away.

By Big Hae Walking |

Daluoshui Village belongs to Yunnan. It is the place with the most accommodation and dining in Lugu Lake Scenic Area, and it is also the most densely populated place except Lugu Lake Town. However, the food here feels average, and I was scared after eating it once.

By you |

The scenery by the lakes of Daluoshui and Lige are similar. Here is a comparison between Daluoshui Village and Lige Village: Daluoshui has a relatively long plank road along the lake, and you can reach Sanjia Village by hiking for a few miles, but I personally feel that the water in Lige is clearer, and there is a heart-shaped viewing platform in Rige, which is closer to the Goddess Mountain in Nice Village; in addition, Daluoshui Village is relatively large, and Lige is relatively small. In terms of economic development, Daluoshui is more developed than Lige, but sewer construction is currently underway.

By plum |

Food: I recommend the black goat hotpot, which I personally think is delicious. I stayed in Daluoshui for two nights and ate it twice a day. The most impressive thing was that I bought fruits with my friends and then sat by a fire next to the fruit stall. The three of us roasted the fire, ate fruits and chatted. That should be the most pleasant outdoor experience after graduation. By Lugu Lake, there are friends, snacks, and fire to keep warm

By Sharon🍃 |

This village should be the earliest developed village, but it is well preserved. The lake surface is sparkling and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a mirror. The greatest feeling Lugu Lake gives me is that no matter how strong the wind and rain are, it cannot make it calm. There is a little ripple, and a fishing boat makes me feel a little lonely, but when I return, it brings a little warmth.

By Stay in Summer |

Take a walk in the morning, take photos of various fresh things, beautiful~

By Cat Left |

As the largest and earliest developed village in Yunnan, Daluoshui Village has a strong commercial atmosphere, with restaurants and specialty shops everywhere. Walking along the lake, I found that the only way to travel is by boat.

It is quite pleasant to row a pig trough boat on the calm lake and sing and greet the passing boats. However, the pig trough boats in Yunnan are generally larger than those in Sichuan. Is it because the pigs in Yunnan used to eat a lot?

Seagulls will fly over to tourists on the boat. They are not afraid of strangers. As long as you hold bread in your hand, they will come to you to ask for food. According to the boatman, a large number of migratory birds come here from Siberia every winter. In addition to seagulls, there are also bone crested chickens and mandarin ducks that are afraid of people. At the peak, there are millions of them roosting on the lake, which is very spectacular.

By Rainy day bubbles |

Da Luo Shui is an important tourist attraction in Lugu Lake. There are colorful pig trough boats docked by the lake. Standing on the extension platform, looking at the peninsula opposite, although there is no blue sky and sunshine, there is a kind of hazy beauty.

By Cc |

This is the earliest developed area in Lugu Lake, and the accommodation and other facilities here are also the best. The white tables and white chairs that are often seen for taking photos are also in Daluoshui Village.

By © Northwardsuk1 |

The underground pipes along the lakeside section of Daluoshui are under construction and have been dug up in a very messy manner. I learned from the construction workers that the construction will take at least two months, so there is no need to consider a lake view room in Daluoshui for the time being.

Although water pipes are being repaired along the Daluoshui Lake, the lake cruise pier is still intact and super beautiful. Facing the east, you can choose to watch the sunrise here. The Crazy Bird Youth Hostel is about a 10-minute walk from the lake, which is very convenient.

By Zhang Xixi |

I really like the pig trough boat. I went to Lugu Lake three times. Hahaha

By Dusk, Yiren |

The Daluoshui area is relatively well developed and has a strong commercial atmosphere. Of course, there are a lot of food for sale!

I wanted to take a boat here, but it was too expensive and they didn't bargain! I thought it was not worth it, so I gave up!

The blue sky and white clouds are so rare. The green mountains and clear waters are so beautiful.

By Lijiang travel wedding photos |

The most famous thing about Daluoshui is its pier, which is filled with wooden boats and is quite unique. You can also go boating on the lake.

By Forget more |

Lugu Lake is a plateau fault karst sinkhole lake surrounded by mountains. The majestic Gemu Goddess Mountain stands on the lakeside, and the winding Houlong Mountain wedges into the center of the lake, forming a horseshoe-shaped Lugu Lake. The unique topography and landforms have created the beautiful natural landscape of Lugu Lake.

By Cold Stone |

An ideal place to stay when visiting Lugu Lake, and the first stop when entering Lugu Lake from Lijiang.

By Fearless |

The village is the largest village along the lake in Yunnan. There are three streets, a long-distance bus station, and a nearly 3-kilometer-long lakeside road, half of which is bluestone and the other half is gravel. It is also the most important gathering place for tourists in Lugu Lake. The scenery of Daluoshui Village is beautiful, and the pier has a wide view. You can take a pig trough boat to several large outlying islands, and you can also get close to seagulls. The food and accommodation conditions here are the best, and there are complete service facilities. It is one of the must-see attractions for travelers.

2017-4-8

Lugu Lake in April is sunny and bright. It is a good place to take a leisurely and in-depth tour. The first stop is Daluoshui Village. Fly from Kunming to Ninglang Airport. There is an airport bus to Daluoshui Village! Tell the driver to get off at Daluoshui Village.

By C'estbon |

There are many Sichuan restaurants here. We went to one at random and ordered a set meal online, which was a water lily soup, a piece of bait chicken, a tree flower fried egg, and a fried rice. They were all delicious and very cost-effective. These dishes are also available in almost every restaurant.

By Xiaokui without preparation and buffer |

The water is beautiful, and the local residents rowing boats are all wearing ethnic costumes. It is suitable for taking photos with red decorations

By Rely on business |

When you come to Lugu Lake from Sichuan, the first place you go to is Da Luo Shui. You can see the lake and the distant mountains from Da Luo Shui, just like the West Lake seen from Liu Lang.

By Cris the Caterpillar |

As one of the earliest developed villages in Lugu Lake, Daluoshui Village has very mature supporting facilities, and it is very convenient for food, accommodation and transportation (but electric cars in Daluoshui cannot go to Rige, so you can't go around the lake, please note this). Daluoshui does not have a panoramic viewing platform, but the pier is facing the Goddess Gemu Mountain, and the experience is also very good.

By The Colonel's Goldfish |

Boating spots along the shores of Lugu Lake feature brightly colored sampans.

By Exploding Koala |

It was already night when we arrived at Daluoshui Village, Lugu Lake, during Christmas. It was the off-season. If you stayed in a lake view room, you could see Lugu Lake and the mountains in the distance. It was convenient for traveling. You could rent a car to go around the lake, or rent a bicycle if you were physically fit. Eating barbecue and watching the sunset in Daluoshui Village at night was also a good choice.

By Purple Lupine |

Entering Daluoshui Village, it is obviously more popular. Many seagulls gather on the lake surface at the pier, which is a major attraction of Lugu Lake in winter. These birds from Siberia will spend the whole winter here.

It is easiest to take photos of seagulls here, as there are many tourists and many people feeding them. The birds are hungry in the early morning and are easiest to feed. They will eat steamed buns and bread, and a large flock will fly over as soon as you throw them. Bread at the pier costs 3 yuan per bag.

By Zheng Zizai |

Daluoshui is the earliest and most thorough commercial village in Lugu Lake. The scenery is average, but there are many accommodation options, but the price is expensive!

By Squeak |

To upgrade my dating companion, I'd like to add a review. I went to Lugu Lake at the end of September 2015. It was not yet the peak season, and the scenery was beautiful. My WeChat Moments were full of comments every day. The people around were also very nice, and I can still use the word "simple and honest". I stayed in Lugu Lake for a week and didn't want to leave. My favorite Sichuan breakfast shop near the pier is waiting for me to go there again. I don't know if adding a picture can help me upgrade to a higher level! ! !

By Snufkin |

We were greeted by a large field of Gesang flowers. Looking at the calm lake, our hearts were moved. The tranquility, purity and temperament of Lugu Lake give people a feeling of desirelessness.

By Miss Miss |

The most beautiful place in Lijiang, worth driving three or four hours to get there.

By winder duo |

When you come here, how can you miss the most beautiful sunrise?

By Emily wants to go out again |

Lugu Lake is most beautiful in summer and autumn, and there are red-billed gulls from Siberia in winter. Cars entering Lugu Lake will stop at Daluoshui Village, which is the largest, busiest, relatively safe, and the only village with a sewage treatment system. Rural remote areas, you know. Rig Peninsula is beautiful and has great accommodation, but you need to charter a car to get there. But I still recommend staying in Daluoshui Village. I went there in March, and the starry sky room only saw three or two stars, which was hard to see. It was still too cold.

By CherryWww。 |

You can also rent a bicycle at Lugu Lake and ride around the lake while feeling the wind. It is very artistic. If you have friends accompanying you, it would be nice to ask them to help take photos.

By Little fish |

Lugu Lake is very beautiful! ~ Worth a visit~! But there are rip-offs~! Be careful! ~

By Ogi |

The village is relatively large, close to the main transportation route in Yunnan, with more accommodation and tourists, and the scenery is slightly worse than that of Rige.

By freedom |

There are relatively few tourists in Daluoshui. We walked around and didn't see many people, and there didn't seem to be any tour groups. There are homestays along the lake. The accommodation here is much cheaper than that in Rig Peninsula. The lake view room is actually quite nice, but we felt it was deserted walking around the lake in the afternoon. It is estimated that it will be too quiet at night, so it is recommended to choose Rig for accommodation.

By Jasonwho |

A small village with more than 100 households. It is OK if you go there in the off-season. Don't ask for too much facilities in the village. It can meet the needs of sightseeing and leisure. Guests who want five-star standards don't need to come to Lugu Lake.

By Cinderella by Rong Xiaohua |

It was the Dragon Boat Festival that day. The innkeeper said there was a rowing competition in the morning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was already 1pm and the competition was over. The water was very clear and cool. If you look closely, you will find flowers in the lake. I heard that it is a plant called "water lily" and it is edible.

By Yes |

As for accommodation, if you are looking for a place with more people, I recommend Daluoshui Village and Lige Village. After all, it is more lively in the mountains when there are more people. Otherwise, it would be a bit scary if it is too quiet, hahahaha. As for food, there is not much to eat, but the scenery is really beautiful. Lugu Lake is really worth a visit.

By Ten plus one |

The first stop after taking the bus to Lugu Lake is Daluoshui Village, which is more commercialized, but the environment is also good. At that time, I listened to the bus driver's words: If you want to find accommodation, go to each one, it is more reliable than looking at those on Meituan. We stayed in Lugu Lake for two days. On the first day, we found an accommodation at random, which was closer to the station, but the accommodation environment was really average, and the toilet was quite dirty. We originally planned to stay in the same inn for two days, but after staying for one night, we got up early the next day and decisively checked out and changed inns. We found Mosuo People's Inn, which was not bad. The whole inn was very large, and the indoor environment was much better than the first day. The boss also gave us the same price as the first day. There was a bonfire party here at 8:30 pm, just opposite the Mosuo People's Inn. We also went there the next night to join in the fun (30 yuan/person)

By Michelle |

Take a bus from Lijiang Ancient Town to Lugu Lake. The parking lot is located in Daluoshui Village, which is right by the Lugu Lake and very close to the bonfire party.

By style |

This is a must-visit place for most tourists visiting Lugu Lake, and there are many tour groups. The top of the village land extends to the center of the lake, and the view is the widest.

By Happy Ranger |

When visiting Lugu Lake, the most popular place to stay is Daluoshui (also called Daluoshui in local signs). We stayed there for a day. The "lakeshore" of Daluoshui is very long, and the whole street is close to the lake. There is no obstruction when you go out, so the whole street is full of lake view rooms.

By Mu Ziying |

It's a very beautiful and leisurely place. Compared with Lufang, the food, accommodation and transportation here are very well developed. Generally, if you want to leave, you will choose to walk here, and the best way to stay here is to find an inn by the lake and lie down.

By Nazardi |

Daluoshui is one of the more lively villages near Lugu Lake, but we just passed by the village along the lake and did not go in for a deeper visit. The best part along the way was the lakeside road. A white high table and two high tables, even such a simple setting is beautiful against the backdrop of Lugu Lake. Although the sun was setting, it was still very bright. The Goddess Mountain in the distance echoed with the lake, which was really perfect for all kinds of photo shoots.

By Insect Tree |

If you live too far inside Daluoshui Village, driving there would be difficult as it is mostly one-way streets.

By Blue。 |

When we went there, the migratory birds were back for the winter. After 3 o'clock every day, the seagulls and diving ducks were on the lake. If you took some bread and scattered a handful, they would all fly over and surround you.

By White Jade Tiger |

A very mature commercial area with food and accommodation, and nice scenery. It is recommended to stay here when visiting Lugu Lake.

By Deep autumn mood |

In Daluoshui Village, there is a stretch of sandy and muddy land from the house to the lake, and there is a little beach by the lake. Because it is the end, no vehicles pass by, the range of activities is large, and the view is good. There are a few sparsely dotted trees, which add a bit of beauty. This location faces east, and you can watch the sunrise from the balcony. Let's take a look at the photos of sunrise first.

Daluoshui Village is the place with the most accommodation in the area. There is also a pier to the island in the middle of the lake. There are bonfire parties at night. Living by the lake is particularly comfortable and relaxing.

By Carrie |

Compared with other places in Lugu Lake, this is probably the most developed one. There are also many seagulls. If you walk to the lake in the morning, you will see that Lugu Lake is like an early-rising fairy in the sunset, warm and beautiful.

By To the Faraway Place |

Daluoshui Village is located at the entrance of Lugu Lake in Yunnan Province. It is not far from this village. Daluoshui is also the most beautiful place to view the lake besides Lige Village. Many tourists choose to stay here. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the village, which makes it convenient to buy anything. In addition, there is a bonfire party in the center of Daluoshui Village at night. It is recommended to stay here for one night and stay in Lige Village for one night to enjoy the different night views of each village.

By Jimmy Zhang. |

Luoshui Village, the scenery is very nice. But the food is not very good

By 蟲豸 |

The Daluoshui Village Pier is very beautiful, and the boats are props for filming. I hardly saw anyone riding these boats.

By Aileen |

I went to the Daluoshui Pier in the morning to take pictures of many seagulls flying here to spend the winter. There is a tower next to the pier, and many devout people worship.

By Still today |

Daluoshui is probably the first big village you reach in Lugu Lake. The hotels here are cheap, but the scenery is average. The further you go, the better the scenery! It's very big inside, so you need to share a car or ride an electric bike.
