The water of Lashi Lake is very shallow, with a lot of aquatic plants in it, so boats can only be rowed by manpower, so boats sailing in the lake feel like walking on the grass. Many boats in the lake are selling grilled fish to tourists. If you like, you can go closer and buy some to eat immediately. You can also try rowing in the lake by yourself, which is actually very interesting.

I went to Lashi Lake today and took bus No. 32 from Sancun Market. There were people on the roadside saying that it would cost 5 yuan to go to Lashi Lake, but I refused. At first, I didn't see the bus routes of No. 31 and No. 32 at the bus stop, so I thought Baidu Maps was wrong. However, Baidu Maps does have many bugs. Baidu Maps shows that we should get off at Wetland Park Station, but we should get off at Anshang Village Station. Baidu Maps doesn't show this station. Fortunately, I asked the driver before getting on the bus, and he stopped the bus for us at Anshang Village and asked us to get off. We walked a distance inside and we reached the ticket office. The ticket price was 38 yuan per ticket, which is a popular photo spot in the Sky Mirror. It's free to take photos by yourself, but you have to pay to find a photographer to take photos. There is also a popular photo base at the entrance of the park, but you have to pay to enter. Fortunately, we didn't go in. A half-day tour of Lashi Lake for two people costs 72 yuan. The tour of Lashi Lake takes about 1-2 hours. We set off slowly after 10 o'clock and arrived at Lashi Lake at about 11:30. You must wear red clothes to take pictures of Lashi Lake. I regret not wearing my red skirt because I had a cold and was afraid of the cold. I wore casual clothes, and the photos were really not good. 😩, we don’t like horseback riding, so we didn’t sign up for a group. It is recommended that we at least sign up for a group of 160, but the afternoon tea has a borderline, which is to take you to buy tea. The innkeeper told me, but I heard it’s not bad. And boating is not allowed in Lashi Lake now.

One star is for the natural landscape of Lashi Lake. We took a taxi from Lijiang Ancient Town to Lashi Lake Wetland Park. The female taxi driver introduced it enthusiastically all the way. At first, it said 10 yuan per person, and finally bargained for 15 yuan for two people (later found out that we were still cheated!). She said that now everyone takes a sightseeing bus or rides a horse to Lashi Lake Wetland Park. We were taken to "Jianghu Outdoor" 6 kilometers away from the wetland park. The prices of the projects inside can be seen in the picture. There are also many tourists complaining about the horse riding projects, so I won't say more. We just want to go to the wetland park, and it costs at least 160 yuan to take a sightseeing bus, and we are also given a free tea (tea) coupon! First, we took it to the village, looked at a few local residents' houses, and then went to "drink tea" and saw other tourists coming out and said, "There is no free XX in the world." Sure enough, every teahouse is selling tea. I didn't even go in. Then we joined the short-distance horse riding to the wetland park. Inside, there are "free" guides explaining. We arrived at a sacred place where photography is prohibited and asked everyone to receive a blessing plaque and donate 30 yuan each (when you visit many domestic attractions, you will find that they are all the same). You can leave on your own if you do not follow the routine. I walked around Lashi Lake by myself and then came out. Later I found out that you can buy a ticket at the entrance of the wetland park by yourself, and it only costs 30 yuan to buy a ticket by yourself. It means that we spent 130 yuan per person for a ride of less than 10 kilometers! I don’t know how much kickbacks the horse farm gave to taxi drivers. Money is not a problem, the problem is that such a routine area is really disgusting! Yunnan, a beautiful place, has such dark human nature!

Lashi Lake is located in the middle of Lashi Dam, 10 kilometers west of Lijiang County. It is the first nature reserve named after "wetland" in Yunnan Province. "Lashi" is the translation of the ancient Naxi language, "La" means barren dam, and "Shi" means new, which means new barren dam. From the end of the Pliocene to the beginning of the Pleistocene, this quasi-plain under the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was divided into three plateau mountain basins with a relative height difference of 100 to 200 meters, namely Lashi Dam, Lijiang Dam, and Qihe Dam. Lashi Dam is the highest dam among them, and there is still a body of water in the dam. Yunnan is an inland province, and a large lake is called a sea, so it is called Lashi Lake. Get off at the Wetland Park Station, and you will see a stone archway of Lashi Lake. Just walk straight in. The ticket is 20/30 yuan, why are there two prices? Here we have to talk about another point. Lashi Lake has been divided into various areas by local merchants. To put it bluntly, it is a fence to make money. For example, if you buy a ticket to enter this area, you have to come out and buy a ticket to enter the other side because it is managed by different people. In fact, it is not very big inside. It took ten minutes to visit it. The experience is very average. We thought that since we were here, we finally chose a seemingly official gate to buy tickets and go in for a visit.

For a one-day trip to Lashi Lake, I hired a car from Lijiang. (I am a firm non-group traveler) The adult ticket cost 196 yuan per person, horseback riding cost 110 yuan per person, transportation cost 45 yuan per person, and Lashi Lake Wetland Park ticket cost 35 yuan per person. Lashi Lake is 9 kilometers away from the main city of Lijiang, which is very close. It is a typical plateau lake... It is a good place for many birds to spend the winter. I commend myself for my wise decision this time: there are many benefits to traveling in the off-season. There are very few people by the lake, and you can take pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenery without being disturbed...

When you arrive at Lashi Lake, the first thing that catches your eye is the sparkling sea, followed by the colorful boats, and finally the bustling crowd. Everything looks so beautiful under the sun.

The first activity we played was kayaking. There were many people playing, and we waited in line for a long time. When we put on life jackets and sat on the kayak, our fatigue disappeared instantly. I sat in the front, responsible for paddling, and my friend sat in the back, responsible for being timid. The afternoon sun was particularly strong, and even with a hat and sunglasses, I could feel the strong ultraviolet rays. However, the water surface reflecting the sun was particularly beautiful, sparkling, as if filled with stars.

In fact, this is generally a good place to go, especially for young couples or married couples. When the weather is good, it is nice to kayak on the Lashi Sea or ride a horse to experience the Ancient Tea Horse Road under the warm sun.

But at the same time, this attraction also has many pitfalls and scandals, which has led to a significant decline in the experience of many people after being deceived. For example, some people need to spend hundreds of dollars to go boating and horse riding here, while others can do it with just a few hundred yuan. This also shows that this attraction is chaotic and poorly planned.

Lashi Lake is a famous scenic spot for Lijiang tourism. Although it is a AAA scenic spot, it is still good to travel in Lijiang. I saw a general outline on the way from Dali to Lijiang. From Shuhe Ancient Town, take a few minutes on the highway and then come out not far away. The ticket is 20 yuan, and you have to buy a separate ticket for horse riding and boating. We only bought the ticket and walked around inside. The scenery is good and the price-performance ratio is very high. Especially when entering the wetland, it is really good. At noon, we came out of it and navigated to Lugu Lake.

After entering the door, you will first pass through a tea corridor. When you buy a ticket, the ticket office will give you a tea tasting voucher. The tea tasting voucher is used here, but don't worry, when you enter here, someone will naturally come forward to invite you to sit down and drink tea. I didn't see flocks of migratory birds, nor did I see the so-called Internet celebrity glass bridge, but the lake is still very blue, and the whole atmosphere is very quiet. It's okay to stroll around slowly when you have nothing to do. The whole park is not big. If you walk fast, you can get out in less than an hour. I came here for the Internet celebrity glass bridges and hanging chairs on Douyin. As a result, the staff told us that those were illegal buildings. In order to rectify the regulations, the Tourism Bureau demolished them after the National Day holiday in October last month! From a personal test, if the journey is not very relaxed, I personally don't recommend spending time to visit the two attractions of the Ancient Tea Horse Road and Lashi Lake, because there are no big surprises and features, so it's just average.

In addition to the small animals in the wetland, the park also has transparent bar chairs and flower boats by the lake for visitors to take photos for free. There is also a redwood museum and a children's playground in the park. I checked the guide before and it said that you can go boating in the park, but maybe because I came at the wrong time, this boat tour project is no longer available. By the way, parking in the park is free.

The sun was shining brightly, and I felt the temperature that Yunnan should have. There are only two activities to do in Lashi Lake, rowing and horseback riding. When you arrive at the destination, someone will guide you to buy tickets. The four of us didn't want to ride horses, and the ticket price was 200 per person. Friends who are interested in riding horses and retracing the Ancient Tea-Horse Road can buy full tickets, 380 per person, and both tickets include a native chicken hot pot lunch. Neither rowing nor riding horses, just coming to bask in the sun and take photos and have a meal, it is also 200. In general, the cost-effectiveness of Lashi Lake is not high. It is a commercial attraction in the flow mode. Since you have spent money, you should be happy. You have satisfied someone's wish to play in the water, row a boat, and then take photos in the Internet celebrity glass ball.

Lashi Lake Wetland Park is an ecological pearl of Lijiang. Being in it, it feels like entering a natural poem, with rippling blue waves and surrounded by mountains. Maybe it was the wrong season to go there, it felt quite desolate. There are many places to take photos in the scenic area, which should all require additional fees. Walking along the Lashi Seashore Plank Road, looking at Lashi Lake and feeling the breeze, it felt pretty good.

There is a scenic spot called Lashi Lake 10 kilometers west of Lijiang City. You can ride horses and take a boat here. It was autumn when we went there. We got on the tour bus and headed to the Lashi Lake boating area. Along the way, we saw large tracts of grassland, horses grazing, and the wind was very comfortable...

As we walked along, we found that all the inns or buildings near the shore were ordered to be renovated and moved back 8 meters before reconstruction. Some brand new hotels were even stopped before they were completed, and there was no one inside. This shows that the local government attaches great importance to environmental protection, which is really worthy of praise.

Yunnan is a magical place. The larger lake is called the sea. Due to environmental remediation, we can't go boating. We can only take pictures. The playing time is super short.

Lashi Lake is the first nature reserve named "Wetland" in Yunnan Province. It is a plateau wetland. The scenery is OK, but the scenic spots are very bad. Overall, the cost performance is not high.

We chartered a car on Ctrip. It was a small van with 6 or 7 people in a group. The round-trip fare, lunch, horseback riding tickets, and wetland park tickets were included. You can experience the local rural living environment and scenery. Don't be in a hurry and enjoy the comfortable and slow-paced rural atmosphere.

Here, you can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain opposite, and the snow on the mountain is still clearly visible. You must tie your hat tightly when rowing here, as the wind is very strong. You row by yourself. There are boats for one, two, three, and more people. There is no boatman. You will be taught on the spot. It is quite interesting and can also exercise your physical strength.

Tickets are only 20 yuan, and senior citizens are free, so don't be fooled. Just take bus No. 31 or 32 and buy tickets at the park gate.

I signed up for a one-day tour with the youth hostel. I rode horses on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The road was not easy to ride. Although the horses were trained, it was still quite dangerous. I took a boat to Lashi Lake. It was not far away. There were tadpoles in the water, which were very cute. I had horse food for lunch. Except for the meat, everything else was delicious. Finally, I rode back to the parking lot, took a bus to Shuhe Ancient Town, and then the tour was dismissed.

I was very disappointed with Lijiang when I walked along the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The real scenic spots were only 20 yuan. The scenery was okay.

The scenery is nice. Because it is a wetland park, you have to be careful when walking, otherwise your shoes may sink into the water.

Although Lashi Lake is called a sea, it is not actually a sea. It is a wetland with abundant aquatic plants. There are many birds here in winter, and aquatic plants float freely under the water. Lashi Lake Wetland Park is still worth going to, the ticket is only 20 yuan. There are buses from Zhongyi Market in the ancient city area, 31 and 32 can go there, 3 yuan. There are also small vans with 7 seats, 5 yuan. There are horseback riding around the scenic spot, the price is clearly marked, and it is not cheap. Rowing is not allowed now. It was cloudy when I went there, it should be more beautiful on a sunny day

This time, I asked the owner of my inn in Lijiang to help me find a one-day tour to Lashi Lake. The fee included: pick-up and drop-off, lunch, horseback riding, and boat trip to Lashi Lake. The average price was 150 per person. It was really picturesque. We rode horses along the Ancient Tea-Horse Road and crossed a small hill. The children were very happy.

There are traps everywhere, and it is hard to guard against them. Many horse farms are privately owned, and the wetland park looks like a deserted place.

The boating project in Lashi Lake was cancelled, and only the horse riding on the Ancient Tea Horse Road was left, which was a bit boring. I hope new projects can be developed. You must register for the club when you go to Lashi Lake, so that you can see the real Lashi Lake. I didn't do it well when I made the guide, so I missed the beautiful scenery.

It takes about 30 minutes to get there from Lijiang Ancient Town. The ticket price is really the best in the industry and it is worth it.

There is a pier at Lashi Lake where you can take a boat. It seems to cost 50 yuan per person. You can also ride horses at the entrance. I didn't ask the price, but I guess it's not expensive. It was off-season when I went there, so there were basically no people going in. The scenery is highly recommended.

It's a place that tricks tourists. They are everywhere in the city, soliciting tourists at low prices, and different villages occupy a pond to divide up tourist resources. It's disgusting. But I heard that this attraction will be cancelled soon, which is good.

Don't ride a horse. If you really want to experience it, choose the shortest and cheapest riding route. The scenery of Lashi Lake itself is good. In fact, you can take a taxi directly to Lashi Lake in Lijiang, get off at any intersection that leads to the lake, and then walk to the lake to play and see the scenery. Lashi Lake is a lake, and anyone can play by the lake. There is no department or scenic spot to collect entrance fees. The only ones who charge are the so-called horse caravans, which are for you to ride horses. You don't have to ride horses.

The driver said this is a small grassland, which is indeed quite similar. There is also a patch of Gesang flowers next to it, but it looked like a bunch of weeds at the time. The driver said it would bloom around October. It seems that we came at the wrong time, which is a little regrettable. After lunch, we went to Lashi Lake for boating. There are kayaks for one, two, and three people. Generally, there are two people in a group. It is best to have a male and a female partner. The girl sits in the front and the boy sits in the back, so that it will not be so tiring. There are a lot of water grasses in Lashi Lake, especially on the edge. Boating is really interesting and enjoyable.

The best experience is boating 🚣‍♀️. The sun shines on my face, which is very comfortable. The waves on the lake blow the boat. When I get tired of rowing, I stop, close my eyes, and think about nothing. I relax my mind for a moment and hide under the willow trees to cool off. There are also water lilies on the lake. I dare not make too big movements or stand up. I seldom take pictures. The scenery is great and the lake is clean, just like Douyin.

It's not fun at all. I feel like I was ripped off. It's not fun at all. It's so expensive and there's nothing to see.

It was October when I went there, the time was wrong, and the scenery was average.

Tips:

1. Lashi Lake is a relatively irregular part of Lijiang tourism. There are mainly four privately-run clubs or apartments. There are some lounge chairs and photo spots for tourists to relax on the edge of Lashi Lake, so you should be careful when choosing. Try to ask the locals first or find a driver or guide (they can get the internal price, so we found them).

2. Lashi Lake is relatively close to Lijiang city, but you have to climb over a small hill, and the road to the township where Lashi Lake is located is not so easy to navigate, so friends who are prone to motion sickness should be careful.

I just said that the tourism in Lashi Lake is still quite chaotic. There are about four clubs there, called: Clouds Beyond the Shore, Waterside, Sunshine Peninsula, (I forgot the name of another one), which is equivalent to the four major families in a village, each of whom opened a leisurely and entertaining hotel for tourists to play. Basically, it is a big house, where tourists eat, and then there are some open-air facilities outside, including Internet celebrity glass balls, white pianos, lounge chairs, children's entertainment areas, self-service fruit and beverage areas, and unlimited time and unlimited number of boating in Lashi Lake. In addition to these four, if you see the so-called horse farms on the website group purchase that allow you to buy horse riding packages, they are all scattered small owners. The scale is not large, and the guarantee is estimated to be not too strong. So it is recommended to choose from these four to go to Lashi Lake. Which one is better, I can't tell. When you arrive, you will know that several of them are connected together, all accompanied by the Lashi Sea, and "divide" Lashi Lake. But we got the internal price through the driver (the outside package purchase costs nearly 300 yuan/person, and we spent 220 yuan/person)

In addition to the beautiful scenery on the sea, Lashi Lake also has the legendary Ancient Tea-Horse Road, which allows tourists to ride on horses and truly walk along the mountain road.

The so-called boats in Lashi Lake are kayaks, and one boat can only seat two people. Children under 1.2 meters tall are naturally not allowed to board the boat. So even though my daughter was very reluctant, we had to choose to take a motorboat to see the scenery on Lashi Lake. It is very nice to see Lashi Lake from a motorboat, with lush water plants and beautiful lake colors, especially when the sun shines on the lake, the waves are sparkling, and the wind blows, as if it brings up these little stars. Due to the construction of the dam, Lashi Lake has changed from a seasonal lake to a plateau lake that maintains a certain water level. The mirror-like lake surface reflects the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and wintering water birds live safely or soar between the blue sky and white clouds, forming a unique atmosphere of the plateau wetland.

Lashi Lake is known as the cradle of life for its lush water grass and beautiful lake colors. It is also the ecological protection project base of the Nature Conservancy of the United States.



Lashi Lake is actually a fault tectonic lake, and was formed by the tectonic action of limestone dissolution. The surface water sources entering the lake are Qingshui River in the south and Meiquan River in the north. The hydrological catchment area is 265.6 square kilometers, and the lake water originally leaked from the karst cave in the northwest.



In the past, the lake surface has experienced significant seasonal changes, with high water levels during the rainy season, a maximum water storage capacity of 180 million cubic meters, a water surface area of ​​9 square kilometers, and a water depth of up to 9 meters.



The Lashi Lake Waterside Club has a superior geographical location, with food, drinks and entertainment. You can also take a kayak on the sea and enjoy the extraordinary vast sea and sky on the plateau.

The biggest feature of the Lashi Lake Wetland Tourism in Lijiang, Yunnan is horse riding and boating, but what is most needed here is to walk quietly in this wetland, watch migratory birds and blue sky and white clouds. Lashi Lake is a place that is easy to be fooled. I don't believe it. Just for the beautiful scenery of the wetland, I am alone, quietly watching the scenery and listening to the calls of migratory birds, I will feel very satisfied.

We got up very early and went to Lashi Lake at 8 o'clock. Because we went very early, there was nothing there and all the private scenic spots were closed. It happened to be flooded, and the scene was desolate, so we didn't stay there for a long time. (Lashi Lake is mainly for horse riding and boating. The scenic spots are occupied by private attractions, so if you go there by yourself without spending money, you can hardly play anything. The best way to play is to buy a pass in Lijiang and go there in a group, which is a one-stop service.)

Unfortunately, we seemed to have come to the wrong attraction.

Fortunately, we encountered good weather.

I want to blend into the nature for a moment. We rowed a small boat, two of us in one boat. My husband rowed in the back, and I took photos, ate bread, and looked at the scenery with an umbrella in the front, haha~

There are a lot of grasses in Lashi Lake, and the farther away, the more open it is. You can stay there for a while, listen to music and enjoy the scenery (if you don't want to get sunburned). But for safety reasons, don't row too far.

There are a lot of water plants in it, which can be touched with hands, but I always feel that the unknown bottom of the water is so scary.

The blue sky and white clouds are also very beautiful. After seeing such scenery, I thought that it was worth it even if I came to the wrong place.

They rode electric scooters and rowed boats along the way, braving the wind and sun without any complaints.

There are also electric boats, so you don’t have to row yourself. You can just sit on the boat and take a ride around and then go back, which takes about half an hour.

My husband was lazy and didn't apply sunscreen. He rowed on Lashi Sea for nearly an hour and got tanned like this. The ultraviolet rays in Yunnan are really too strong. Although I laughed at his roasted pig's trotters for a long time, my husband felt pain when taking a shower for the next few days.

If you live in Lijiang, Lashi Lake is a must-visit place.

The sun shines obliquely on the sapphire blue lake surface wrinkled by the breeze, breaking into golden dots. The Lashi Lake in winter is no longer as colorful and lush as in spring, summer and autumn, but it has a more peaceful feeling. We originally planned to row a small boat to cruise the center of the lake, but the wind was really strong that day, so we had to follow the boatman's suggestion to take a motorboat instead. It is said that various migratory birds will come here to spend the winter, which is very suitable for bird watching, but we didn't get any, which was a bit regretful. But wandering on the Lashi Lake is already very pleasant!

After arriving, we rode horses first, because it rained heavily in the morning, and the muddy road turned into a swamp. Many people were selling shoe covers (the price of shoe covers was negotiable). Generally, there were 4 horses in a team, and one person would lead them for a short section of the Ancient Tea Horse Road.

After riding the horse, we will take you to drink tea, taste the special tea, and sell some tea or special products (it's up to you whether to buy or not, we don't force you to buy). Lunch is local chicken hot pot, the taste is so-so...

I went horseback riding in Lashi Lake and felt the culture of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, which I think is the Silk Road of the southwest. After riding the horse, I went boating in Lashi Lake. It rained heavily again, so I didn’t take any photos. On the way back, I passed a rose farm! It is said that all the roses are edible and used to make flower cakes.

Horse riding in Lashi Lake is still as chaotic as it was ten years ago. Don't take a van on the roadside to ride a horse, or you will be ripped off. There are not many people in the wetland park, many of them are taking wedding photos. It's a beautiful scenery no matter how you look at it.
