I looked at the navigation in the Mu Mansion and found that Lion Mountain was not far from the back door. This is because Lion Mountain used to be the private garden of the Tusi of the Mu Mansion. But the back door was not open, so I had to go back and exit from the front door. I thought I would start climbing from the mountain gate, but I didn’t expect that the mountain gate was on a very high step. The steps were winding, and there were many silver shops, cafes, and bars on both sides of the road, tempting pedestrians to stop and rest. When I arrived at the mountain gate, I found that the houses in the ancient city seemed to be very far away from here, and what was within reach seemed to be green mountains and white clouds, which showed how low the houses in the city were. Because it was late and the mountain gate was closed, we enjoyed the view from the "First Observation Deck of the Ancient City" outside the gate.

The first time I went to Yunnan, I visited the Zhongyi Night Market in Lijiang Ancient Town. I saw a tower on the mountain in the distance, which attracted my attention. Why not go up to see the tower and overlook the night view of the ancient city? I walked along the path towards the tower and asked the security guards to find out that the tower was called "Wangu Tower" and was on Lion Mountain. There was a slope from Sifang Street, and I climbed up to the top of Lion Mountain panting. As a result, I was lonely. Before I reached Wangu Tower, I was blocked outside the gate of Lion Mountain Scenic Area and had to buy a 35 yuan ticket to enter. I wanted to take pictures of the night view of the ancient city, but it was already dark at this time. It was not the best choice to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. It was not cost-effective to pay for admission to the hospital and climb the tower, so I ate snacks and drank beer at the viewing platform of the merchants around the top of Lion Mountain and looked at the ancient city.

Lion Mountain in Lijiang Ancient Town is the highest point of Lijiang Ancient Town. It is named after its shape resembling a lying lion. Goddess Gem Mountain is also called Lion Mountain. You can climb Lion Mountain through the back door of Mu Mansion. Lion Mountain covers a large area. The core area is the Wangugulou Scenic Area near the ancient town. It can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. The ticket for the ancient building is 50 yuan per person. You can overlook the entire Lijiang city from the building. However, there is no other landscape to see and play. It can be said that the cost performance is low. Tourists please consider it on their own.

The stone road on the mountain is not very smooth, so you need to be careful when going up and down the mountain to avoid slipping on water stains.

You can see the whole view of Lijiang Old Town (during the day). The store closes at 6:30 pm. Even in winter, it is not completely dark and the lights are not on. To take pictures of the whole view of the old town at night, as far as I know, you can go to the second-floor viewing platform of a nearby bar. You need to buy some drinks before taking pictures.

I can't find photos of the night view. Looking at the lights of the whole ancient city from this position at night has a different charm.
